Trainerize Alternatives in 2026: 8 Picks for Personal Trainers

The right Trainerize alternative depends on one question: are you paying Trainerize for a training app, or for a whole business you then have to assemble around it? Most trainers who start looking for Trainerize alternatives have done the same sum. The base plan looked cheap, then payments, meal plans, scheduling and video arrived as separate add-ons, and each new client tier raised the bill again.
We compared eight options on that sum. Coachful is our top pick for most personal trainers and online fitness coaches, because training, nutrition, booking, payments, a website and the client app run in one login, its Fitness & Nutrition pack is included in your Coachful membership, and the Coachful team builds your setup for you at no extra cost. Everfit is the closest like-for-like swap, My PT Hub and PT Distinction are the flat-price options for bigger rosters, HubFit is strong on challenges, Practice Better suits clinical nutrition practices, TrueCoach is the cleanest pure programming tool, and Coachway is the newest. Each entry says when it beats Coachful.
Why do trainers look for Trainerize alternatives?
Trainers usually leave Trainerize for one of four reasons: add-ons that stack on top of the plan, client tiers that jump at awkward points, reviews of app performance, and the business tools it does not include, such as a real website or sales funnels. None of these makes Trainerize bad software. It has one of the largest review bases in fitness coaching, with 4.6 on Capterra from 694 reviews and 4.8 on G2 from 169 in our September 2026 records, and its programming and habit tools are deep.

Here is what Trainerize lists on its pricing page in October 2026, including the add-ons most online trainers end up buying:
| Trainerize plan or add-on | Coaching clients | Monthly billing | What it adds |
|---|---|---|---|
| Basic (free) | 1 | $0 | Mobile app, workout programming, basic nutrition tracking, messaging, habits |
| Grow | 2 | $10 | AI Workout Builder, custom programs, meal and macro tracking, Trainerize.me profile, wearable and app integrations |
| Pro 5 | 5 | $25 | Custom exercise videos, welcome emails, consultation forms, groups, leaderboard and threshold challenges |
| Pro 15 | 15 | $50 (September 2026 listing) | Same as Pro 5 |
| Pro 30 | 30 | $79 | Same as Pro 5 |
| Pro 50 | 50 | $135 | Same as Pro 5; larger tiers go to 75, 100 and 200 clients |
| Studio Plus | 500 | $275 per location | Every add-on included, plus a fully white-labelled app under your own store listing |
| Advanced Nutrition Coaching add-on | Grow and Pro | $20 (Grow to Pro 15), $45 (Pro 30 to Pro 200) | Meal plans, Smart Meal Planner, 2,400+ recipes |
| Stripe Integrated Payments add-on | Grow and Pro | $10 | In-app payments for your coaching |
| Business add-on | Grow and Pro | $25 | Scheduling, referrals, product sales and premium on-demand content |
| Video Coaching add-on | Grow and Pro | $10 | 50 hours of video calling and 100 hours of streaming |
| Custom Branded App (Pro) | Pro plans | $169 one-time | Your logo and colors on the Trainerize app |
US dollars. Annual billing saves 10%. The 30-day trial includes unlimited clients but no add-ons, and reverts to the free plan for one client at the end, with no card charged.
So a trainer with 15 clients who wants in-app payments and meal plans pays $50 + $10 + $20 = $80 a month, and the same trainer at 40 clients pays $135 + $10 + $45 = $190. Add the Business add-on for scheduling and product sales and those become $105 and $215. That is the number to beat, not the $25 headline. Our Trainerize pricing guide covers every tier.
The other reasons are softer but come up often. In our September 2026 records, Trainerize's Trustpilot score was 3.2 from 96 reviews, with complaints about workouts not saving, slow loading and cancellation; Capterra reviewers mention speed and MyFitnessPal sync problems. An independent review we cite in those records reports that the client data export leaves out message archives, photos and PDFs. And Trainerize's own FAQ says that when you cancel, clients above the free plan's single client are deactivated and active recurring payment products are canceled, which shapes how you move (more on that below).
What do personal trainers and online fitness coaches need from software?
A training business runs on a loop: sell the coaching, onboard the client safely, program the training, see what they actually did, adjust, and keep them paying. Software either holds that loop together or leaves gaps you fill with spreadsheets and DMs.
- Onboarding and screening. A consultation form, a health screening questionnaire such as the PAR-Q, goals, equipment and schedule, collected before the first session and kept on the client record.
- Programming. Blocks of weeks, supersets and circuits, timed work, rep ranges and RIR or RPE, templates you can copy between clients, and your own demo videos.
- Logging and progression. The client logs sets against what they did last time, and you see performed against prescribed before you change the next week.
- Form feedback. A client films a set and you answer on the frame that matters.
- Nutrition, at the right depth. Some clients need habits, some need a protein target, a few need macros or a meal plan. Forcing calorie counting on everyone loses clients.
- Weekly check-ins. Weight, measurements, photos, adherence and a few questions, reviewed on a fixed day.
- Booking and payments. Recurring billing for online coaching, session packs for in-person or hybrid clients, and a booking page that respects your calendar.
- Community and challenges. Group challenges keep a roster engaged between check-ins, as long as nobody is ranked on body measurements.
- A way to get clients. A website, a lead magnet and a sales page. Most fitness apps stop at the client app and leave marketing to Instagram and a link.
Where coaching stops. Personal training and fitness coaching are not medical treatment. Refer a client with pain, a recent injury, a cardiac or metabolic condition, pregnancy complications or signs of disordered eating to a doctor, physiotherapist or registered dietitian, and coach alongside them only within what they clear. Rules on who may give individualized nutrition advice differ by country and, in the US, by state, so check what your certification and local law allow before you write meal plans. If you work in a clinical setting that needs HIPAA, note that Coachful is not HIPAA-certified; Practice Better, below, states HIPAA compliance.
For the business side of this, our guides on building an online fitness coaching program and moving in-person clients online go deeper.
Trainerize alternatives at a glance
How we ranked them: how much of a trainer's business runs in one login (selling, booking, training, nutrition and check-ins), what it costs at 15 and 40 clients once you add what Trainerize sells as add-ons, and how much setup stands between you and moving your roster.

| 1. Coachful | Trainers who want training, nutrition, booking, payments and a website in one login | See the plan shown to you | Yes | Your branding inside the Coachful app. |
| 2. Everfit | The closest like-for-like Trainerize swap | $58 (Pro for 20 clients plus Payments from $9) | Yes | Logo and colors on Pro; white label on Enterprise |
| 3. My PT Hub | Unlimited clients at one flat price | 59 (euros or US dollars) | Yes, 1:1; groups and classes on Premium | One-time add-on; store listing extra |

Prices as listed in October 2026 unless marked; Coachway from our September 2026 records. Payment processing is extra everywhere.
How we chose these Trainerize alternatives
We pictured an online personal trainer with 15 clients on monthly coaching, a few hybrid clients who also train in person, one six-week group challenge a quarter, and a plan to reach 40 clients within a year. For each tool we asked what it would handle, what it would leave on the trainer's desk, and what it would cost at 5, 15 and 40 clients with payments switched on. Prices come from each vendor's pricing page as we read it in October 2026, or our September 2026 records where marked, and features come from vendor documentation and public reviews. We did not trial every product hands-on. We make Coachful and rank it first, so every entry ends with when to pick the other tool instead.
1. Coachful: best Trainerize alternative for running the whole training business in one login
Coachful is a coaching platform with a Fitness & Nutrition pack you install inside it. One subscription covers booking, payments, coaching agreements, programs with habits and check-ins, a community, a website with funnels and email, and the client app, and the pack adds the training and nutrition tools a Trainerize user expects. When you choose fitness or nutrition coaching during setup, the pack is installed for you, and it is included in your Coachful membership rather than sold as add-ons.

Training
The workout builder handles sets, rep ranges, load, rest, tempo, RIR, timed and distance work, supersets, circuits, intervals, AMRAP and EMOM. You pull movements from 601 illustrated exercises or add your own with your own demo video, and you can start from eighteen templates: eleven four-week training blocks (full body, upper/lower, push/pull/legs, 5×5, dumbbells only, no equipment, kettlebell, conditioning, glute focus, mobility and return to training), four nutrition approaches and three meal plans. Copy a week, a block or one client's whole plan onto another client in one step.
Clients log each set with their previous values shown beside the prescription, personal bests kept per movement, an estimated one-rep max, and left and right sides logged separately where the movement needs it. Supersets, circuits, AMRAP and EMOM run on a guided clock, approved substitutions can be swapped in, and a session already started keeps working offline and syncs when the signal returns.
Nutrition, at the depth each client needs
Nutrition can be coached five ways: habits only, a written food journal, protein only, calories and macros, or a structured meal plan with portions, swaps and a grocery list. Calories are a separate display setting, so a client who should not watch a calorie number never sees one. Clients look up 5,431 everyday foods and packaged products by search or by scanning a barcode with the phone camera, and meal photos stay private.

Reviews, form checks and check-ins
An attention queue ranks who needs you: reported discomfort first, then heavy effort, missed sessions and reviews waiting to go out. You see performed against prescribed, reply with a voice note or a video, and approve a load or rep-range increase that applies to the next session. Clients send form-check videos mid-workout; you watch at quarter, half or full speed and pin comments to the exact second. The weekly fitness check-in is a screen inside a normal Coachful check-in flow, so you can add your own questions, and a habit can count a measurement such as water or steps and tick itself when the reading is logged.

This walkthrough shows how check-ins and coaching flows are set up:
The business around the training
This is where Coachful differs most from Trainerize. Clients book sessions from your availability with two-way Google, Apple and Outlook calendar sync, on built-in video or with automatic Zoom, Meet or Teams links, and get email reminders plus SMS and WhatsApp once messaging is enabled. Payments run through your own Stripe or Razorpay account with a 0% platform fee: monthly subscriptions, payment plans, paid sessions and session credits. Agreements go out for e-signature before the first session. A section-based website, funnels, email sequences and a link-in-bio page bring clients in, and opt-in challenges run for up to three months on workouts, training minutes, sets, volume, logging days, protein days or check-ins, never on body measurements.

Privacy is the client's choice. Clients decide what they share, one category at a time: training, nutrition and measurements. Progress photos are private by default, stripped of location and camera data, and never served from a public address.
Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. Moving off Trainerize is mostly rebuilding: your programs, your intake form, your sales page. Every Coachful plan includes a build service at no extra cost. From Create > We'll build it for you, describe the website, funnel, offer or program you want, attach your logo, photos and existing material, and the Coachful team builds it inside your account, usually within about 24 hours. The team never invents testimonials or prices, and you edit everything afterwards with the normal editors. Details are in the white-glove service guide.
Limitations: Coachful does not sync with Apple Health, Health Connect, Garmin, Fitbit, Whoop or Oura; steps, sleep and weight come in by CSV import today. It does not include stock exercise demonstration videos: the library is illustrated and you attach your own videos. It does not read a meal photo and guess the calories, and it never changes a client's program on its own. The client app carries your branding inside the Coachful app rather than your own App Store listing. There is no PayPal, no HIPAA certification and no permanent free plan, though you can start with a free trial. Lower plans cap the number of clients and Pro is unlimited, so check the plan shown to you on the pricing page against the roster you expect in a year. The full feature list is on the Fitness & Nutrition page and the Coachful for fitness coaches page.
2. Everfit: the closest like-for-like Trainerize swap

Everfit's feature list maps most closely onto Trainerize's, which makes it the easiest move for a trainer who mainly wants a cheaper training app. Its Starter plan is free for up to 5 clients, with the workout builder, a library of 1,000+ exercises you can extend with your own videos, metrics and progress photos, tasks, messaging and both apps. Pro starts at $19 a month for 5 clients and steps up by roster: $29 for 10, $49 for 20, $75 for 35 and $95 for 50, as listed in October 2026, with annual billing saving 16%.
Pro adds booking and scheduling, habit coaching, forms and questionnaires, a food journal with macro tracking, basic meal plans, a multi-week program builder, AI-drafted message replies, custom branding (logo and colors), community forums and team members. Studio, from $105 for 50 clients, adds group chat, broadcasts and an on-demand training portal.
Falls short: like Trainerize, the business pieces are add-ons. Payments and packages start at $9 a month, meal plans and recipe books at $39, and Autoflow automation at $29, priced by how many clients use it. There is no website or funnel builder on the pricing page. Pick it over Coachful if you want Everfit's no-cost Starter plan for your first five clients, and you already have a website and a way to sell. We compare the two head to head in Everfit vs Trainerize.
3. My PT Hub: unlimited clients at one flat price
My PT Hub is the simplest pricing in this list: Starter covers 3 clients, and Premium covers unlimited clients, workouts and nutrition plans for one flat monthly fee. In October 2026 the page we loaded listed Starter at 25, Premium at 59 and Ultimate at 215 a month, displayed in euros, while the page's own structured data lists the same figures in US dollars. Annual billing lowers each slightly, and the 30-day trial needs no card.
Payment processing and 1-to-1 bookings are on every plan. Premium adds an AI workout builder, Nutrition AI, group bookings, classes and live streams, automated check-ins, scheduled messaging, compliance tracking and community features. That combination of classes and live streams suits hybrid trainers who still run small-group sessions.
Falls short: the custom branded app is a one-time add-on (95), an App Store listing under your name is a further 145 a month, Zapier is 18 a month and extra trainers 10 a month each on Premium. There is no website builder, though the web app can be embedded in your site. Pick it over Coachful if you expect a large roster and want unlimited clients without thinking about tiers.
4. PT Distinction: branded apps and every feature on every plan
PT Distinction puts the same feature list on all three plans and prices by roster. Basic is $19.90 a month for 3 clients, Pro $59.90 for 25 and Master $89.90 for 50, as listed in October 2026, with extra clients at $6, $2.40 or $1.60 a month each after a free first month. There is a 1-month free trial.
Every plan includes the program builder and an AI program builder, nutrition coaching with an AI meal planner, assessments, group training, scheduled email and SMS, automated workflows, on-demand coaching, habits, exercise technique reviews, templates, and selling packages with payments. Pro and Master add custom branded Android and iOS apps and website integration, which is a lot of branding for the price.
Falls short: appointment booking is not listed on the pricing page, there is no website or funnel builder, and per-client overage on Basic ($6 each) makes Pro the sensible starting plan past 9 clients. Pick it over Coachful if a branded app is the priority and you are happy to market from another site.
5. HubFit: challenges and wearables on a budget

HubFit's entry plans carry large client allowances. Standard is $39 a month for up to 50 clients with training programs, nutrition and macros, habit coaching, check-in forms, wearable sync, a resource vault and onboarding flows. Premium, at $69 for up to 100 clients, adds custom branding, group challenges, recipe books, a smart meal planner, payments and packages, and meal and workout AI. Ultimate starts at $119 for 100 clients and adds a workout studio, group chats, forums, team members, broadcasts and Zapier. Annual billing saves about two months.
Its wearable list is broad for the price: our September 2026 records show Apple Health, Google Health Connect, Garmin, Fitbit, Whoop, Oura, Ultrahuman and Eight Sleep.
Falls short: payments start on Premium, there is no appointment booking, video calls, contracts or website, and its public review base was small (6 Capterra reviews in our September 2026 records). An App Store app under your own name is a $189 a month add-on. Pick it over Coachful if wearable data drives your coaching and you do not need in-app booking. We compare it in more detail on our HubFit alternative page and in Coachway vs HubFit.
6. Practice Better: best for dietitians and clinical nutrition practices

Practice Better is practice-management software for dietitians, nutritionists and functional medicine practitioners, and it states HIPAA compliance, which matters for clinical work. Sprout is free for 3 clients; Starter is $35 a month for 10 clients with scheduling, telehealth, billing, messaging, a client portal and forms; Professional is $69 for up to 300 clients and adds group scheduling, fixed-date programs, payment plans and Zapier; Plus is $99 with unlimited clients, evergreen programs, portal branding and 750 SMS reminders a month, as listed in October 2026.
Its food and lifestyle journaling is detailed, it syncs with Apple Health, Fitbit, Garmin and Oura, and it handles charting, superbills and insurance claims, which fitness apps do not cover.
Falls short for trainers: we could not verify a workout builder or set logging, and there is no website or funnel builder. It ranks sixth here because it replaces the nutrition half of Trainerize, not the training half. Pick it over Coachful if you are a registered dietitian or clinic that needs HIPAA, charting or insurance billing. Our Practice Better alternatives guide covers that side.
7. TrueCoach: the cleanest pure programming tool

TrueCoach is built for one job, writing and delivering training programs quickly, and its reviewers rate that job highly: 4.8 on Capterra from 838 reviews and 4.6 on G2 from 278 in our September 2026 records. Starter is $29.98 a month for 5 active clients, Standard $69.98 for 20 and Pro $164.98 for 50, or $26.34, $57.99 and $136.99 a month billed annually, as listed in October 2026.
Every plan includes the drag-and-drop program builder, a professionally recorded exercise video library (the page says 3,000+ in one place and 3,500+ in another), MyFitnessPal-based nutrition and habit tracking, messaging and automated Stripe payments with no add-on fee. Standard and Pro add a public coach profile, wearable data from Apple, Garmin, WHOOP and others, a custom-branded app and Zapier automations. There is a 14-day trial with no card, and a 90-day money-back guarantee on a first annual plan.
Falls short: it is one of the most expensive options here at 40 clients, has no appointment booking, video calls, contracts, community or website, and our September 2026 records note in-app payments only for coaches banking in the US, UK, Canada and Australia. Its Trustpilot score in those records was 2.4 from 19 reviews. Pick it over Coachful if you want a large stock video library and programming speed above everything else. Our Trainerize vs TrueCoach comparison goes further.
8. Coachway: the newest option, with deep meal planning
Coachway is a young platform for online fitness and nutrition coaches, publicly launched around December 2025 according to our September 2026 records. It has a single plan: €69 a month including 5 clients, then €9 for each extra client, with every feature included, including a branded client app in six languages.
Its exercise library lists 1,771+ exercises, the builder handles progressive overload, supersets and AMRAP, and its meal planner has 1,100+ recipes with allergen filters, which is unusually deep. Trustpilot reviewers rated it 4.7 from 26 reviews in those records, mostly from Nordic coaches.
Falls short: per-client pricing grows fast (€384 a month at 40 clients), the pricing page lists a 2.4% charge per transaction without making clear whether that is Coachway's fee or Stripe's, and there is no scheduling, video, community or courses. Pick it over Coachful if you coach a small European roster and meal planning depth matters most.
Feature comparison: Trainerize vs the alternatives
Yes means included on a plan you could reasonably buy; add-on means it costs extra; partial means a limited version. Trainerize is included as the reference row.

|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful | Yes | No (601 illustrated exercises; add your own videos) | Yes, five approaches including meal plans | Yes | Yes, 0% platform fee | Yes | Yes | No; CSV import for steps, sleep and weight. |

| Coachway | Yes | Library of 1,771+ exercises | Yes, deep meal planning | No | Yes, 2.4% charge listed | No | No | Not verified |
"Not verified" means the vendor's pricing page and our records did not confirm it, not that the feature is missing.
What do Trainerize alternatives cost at 5, 15 and 40 clients?
With payments switched on, the cheapest options at 40 clients are the flat-priced ones: My PT Hub, HubFit and PT Distinction. Trainerize with payments and meal plans, at $190, is the highest listed price at that size apart from Coachway. Monthly billing, as listed in October 2026 unless marked.
| Tool | 5 clients | 15 clients | 40 clients | What the price includes |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful | See the plan shown to you | See the plan shown to you | See the plan shown to you | Fitness pack, booking, payments, agreements, website and email included; lower plans cap clients, Pro is unlimited. |
| Trainerize | $55 | $80 | $190 | Pro tier plus Stripe payments ($10) and nutrition ($20 or $45); Business add-on is $25 more |
| Everfit | $28 | $58 | $104 | Pro tier plus Payments from $9; meal-plan add-on from $39 is extra |
| My PT Hub | 59 | 59 | 59 | Premium, unlimited clients, payments included; branded app is a one-time add-on |
| PT Distinction | $31.90 | $59.90 | $89.90 | Basic plus 2 extra clients; Pro; Master |
| HubFit | $69 | $69 | $69 | Premium (payments start here), up to 100 clients |
| Practice Better | $35 | $69 | $69 | Starter; Professional up to 300 clients |
| TrueCoach | $29.98 | $69.98 | $164.98 | Starter; Standard; Pro (payments included) |
| Coachway | €69 | €159 | €384 | September 2026 records; plus a 2.4% per-transaction charge |
Payment processing is extra on every row. Watch the tier jumps: Trainerize moves from $79 to $135 at client 31, TrueCoach from $69.98 to $164.98 at client 21, and Everfit from $75 to $95 at client 36. A trainer who sits just above a boundary pays for capacity they are not using.
If you want to price your own coaching tiers against these costs, our guide to pricing app-only and live-call fitness coaching works through the margins.
How do you move from Trainerize to Coachful?
Plan the move around billing, not around the app. Trainerize's FAQ says that when you cancel, active recurring products are canceled and clients above the free plan's single client are deactivated, and card subscriptions never transfer between platforms on their own. So the safe order is: build, invite, move each client's billing, then cancel.
- Week 1, export and save. Export what Trainerize lets you export, and save anything the export may miss: progress photos you need, key program templates, and notes on each client's current block. An independent review in our records reports that message archives, photos and PDFs are not in the export, so do this while the account is fully active.
- Week 1, set up Coachful. Choose fitness or nutrition coaching during setup so the Fitness & Nutrition pack installs, decide whether each client is training, nutrition, both or progress only, and connect Stripe or Razorpay and your calendar. Or ask the Coachful team to build your website, intake form and first program through the white-glove service.
- Week 1, rebuild programs. Start from the closest of the eighteen templates, or rebuild your own blocks, then copy them to each client. Attach your own demo videos to the exercises your clients ask about most.
- Week 2, invite clients in small groups. Send each group the new link with a short note: same coach, same program, a new app. They sign in, see the plan you wrote and choose what to share before any data flows.
- Week 2, move billing client by client. Send each client a Coachful checkout link for their plan timed to their next renewal date, then end the matching Trainerize recurring product as soon as they have paid, so nobody is charged twice or lapses.
- Week 3, run the first check-in in Coachful. Use the weekly fitness check-in screen, review the attention queue, and fix anything clients found confusing.
- Week 3 or 4, cancel Trainerize once every client has logged at least one workout in Coachful and every subscription has moved.
What your client experiences: one email with a link, a sign-in to the Coachful app showing your branding, their current week of training already waiting, their nutrition approach (and no calorie number if you hid it), a booking page for sessions, and one place to message you. Training, check-ins, payments and booking sit in the same app rather than across three.

If you also need a site to sell from, Coachful's 30 designed homepage templates fill in with your name, offers and links, and there is an Import website option for an existing site. Our personal trainer website guide covers what to put on it, and our guide to migrating from Trainerize goes through the move step by step.

What mistakes should you avoid when choosing a Trainerize alternative?
- Comparing base prices. Add payments, nutrition, scheduling and branding to every option before comparing. The table above does that for you.
- Ignoring the tier boundary you are about to cross. If you are at 28 clients and growing, price the tool at 35 and 50, not 28.
- Assuming wearable sync. If your coaching depends on Garmin or Whoop data, check the specific device. Coachful does not sync wearables today; HubFit, Trainerize and Practice Better list several.
- Assuming a stock video library. Coachful and several others expect you to film your own demos. Many trainers prefer that, since clients copy their own coach, but budget the filming time.
- Missing payment country limits. TrueCoach's in-app payments were limited to four countries in our September 2026 records. Coachful runs on Stripe or Razorpay, so check that one of them supports your country.
- Buying a branded store app too early. A $189 a month store listing is far easier to justify at 60 clients than at 8.
- Switching mid-block. Move clients at the start of a new training block so their logging history and progression stay coherent.
- Forgetting your in-person clients. Trainerize lets clients who only book and pay sit outside your coaching limit. Check how your new tool counts them.
The verdict: which Trainerize alternative should you choose?
For most personal trainers and online fitness coaches, Coachful is the best Trainerize alternative, because training, nutrition, booking, payments, agreements and a website run in one login, the fitness tools are included in your membership rather than sold as add-ons, and the team builds your setup for you. The honest exceptions:
- Choose Everfit if you want the most Trainerize-like app and a free tier for your first five clients.
- Choose My PT Hub or PT Distinction if you have a large roster and want one predictable price, or a branded app on a mid-tier plan.
- Choose HubFit if wearable data and challenges are central and you do not need in-app booking.
- Choose Practice Better if you are a dietitian or clinic that needs HIPAA, charting or insurance billing.
- Choose TrueCoach if programming speed and a large stock video library matter more than anything else.
- Stay on Trainerize if you run a gym or multi-location studio that needs Mindbody or Glofox integrations and a fully white-labelled app, which its Studio plans include.

Frequently asked questions
What is the best alternative to Trainerize?
Coachful is our top pick for most trainers because training, nutrition, booking, payments and a website run in one login, with its Fitness & Nutrition pack included in the membership. Everfit is the closest like-for-like app, and My PT Hub is the simplest flat price for large rosters.
Is there a free alternative to Trainerize?
Everfit's Starter plan is free for up to 5 clients, and Practice Better's Sprout plan is free for 3, as listed in October 2026. Trainerize itself has a permanent free plan for one client. Free tiers are small and leave out most business tools, so treat them as a way to test, not to run a full roster.
What is cheaper than Trainerize for 40 clients?
With payments switched on, My PT Hub Premium (59 a month), HubFit Premium ($69) and PT Distinction Master ($89.90) all cost less than Trainerize Pro 50 with payments and nutrition ($190), as listed in October 2026. Everfit comes to about $104 with its payments add-on. Processing fees are extra on all of them.
Is TrueCoach better than Trainerize?
TrueCoach is simpler and faster for writing programs, and payments are included without an add-on. Trainerize does more: booking, classes, groups and challenges, with meal plans as an add-on. At 40 clients, Trainerize Pro 50 with payments ($145) costs less than TrueCoach Pro ($164.98), but adding Trainerize's $45 nutrition add-on reverses that.
Can I move my clients from Trainerize without losing them?
Yes, if you move billing carefully. Card subscriptions do not transfer between platforms, and Trainerize cancels active recurring products when you cancel your plan. Set up each client's new subscription first, invite clients in small groups, and cancel Trainerize only after everyone has logged a workout in the new app.
Does Coachful have an exercise video library like Trainerize?
Coachful has 601 illustrated exercises rather than stock demonstration videos, and you can attach your own video to any exercise. Many trainers prefer their own demos because clients copy their coach. If a large stock video library matters, TrueCoach and Trainerize include one.
Does Coachful sync with Apple Health, Garmin or Fitbit?
Not today. Coachful does not sync with Apple Health, Health Connect, Garmin, Fitbit, Whoop or Oura. Steps, sleep and weight can be brought in by CSV import. If wearable sync is essential, HubFit and Trainerize list the widest device support.
Which Trainerize alternative is best for nutrition coaches?
For coaches, Coachful lets you coach nutrition five ways, from habits to full meal plans, and hide calories per client. For registered dietitians and clinics that need HIPAA, charting or insurance billing, Practice Better is the better fit. Coachful is not HIPAA-certified.
Can I get my own branded app like Trainerize's?
Trainerize charges a one-time $169 for logo and colors on Pro and includes a store-listed white-label app on Studio. HubFit's store-listed app is $189 a month and My PT Hub's 145 a month, while PT Distinction includes custom branded apps on Pro and Master. Coachful's client app carries your branding inside the Coachful app rather than a separate store listing.
Will Coachful set up my programs and website for me?
Yes. The white-glove build service is included at no extra cost on every Coachful plan. Request it from Create > We'll build it for you, describe your program, website or funnel and attach what you have, and the team builds it in your account, usually within about 24 hours. Coachful does not film your exercise videos.
