Top 7 Keap Alternatives for Coaches in 2026

Top 7 Keap Alternatives for Coaches in 2026

The best Keap alternatives for coaches are the tools that keep what Keap does well (a contact list, email follow-up, booking and payments) and add what a coaching business needs after the sale: programs, check-ins, courses, a community and a place where clients actually do the work. Keap is a capable small-business CRM, but it was built for selling, not for delivering coaching, and its single plan starts at $299 a month plus a required implementation package. So the deciding question is simple: do you need a heavy sales machine, or one place to sell and coach?

Our pick is Coachful, because it covers the Keap jobs a coach relies on and then carries the client through booking, contracts, payments, programs, habits, check-ins, courses and community under one login. We make Coachful, so weigh that, and read the "pick it over Coachful if" lines under every other tool. Some coaches genuinely should choose something else, and this guide says who.

What do coaches leaving Keap actually need?

The usual problem for a coach on Keap is not a weak CRM. It is paying for a sales platform while the coaching itself happens somewhere else: in Zoom, in a shared Google Doc, in a WhatsApp thread, or in a separate course tool. Keap's own notes describe it as a small-business CRM with email and text automation, a scheduler, quotes, invoices and checkout forms. It has no course hosting, membership area, client portal or client-facing app, and no coaching programs, habit tracking or check-ins.

A coaching practice has a different shape from the businesses Keap was designed for. The sale is one moment. The relationship runs for 8, 12 or 26 weeks after it. What a coach needs from the replacement usually comes down to these jobs:

  • Lead capture and follow-up. A discovery-call funnel, a lead magnet, an email sequence for people who are not ready yet. This is the part of Keap most coaches actually used.
  • Booking that respects how coaching works. Paid sessions, session packages or credits, buffers between calls, time-zone detection for international clients, and intake questions before the first session.
  • Agreements before the first call. A coaching agreement signed electronically and stored with the client, not in a downloads folder.
  • Payments that match coaching offers. Payment plans for a 6-month program, subscriptions for ongoing coaching, one-time fees for an intensive.
  • Delivery between sessions. Weekly goals, daily tasks, habits and check-ins, so progress does not depend on what the client remembers on Tuesday's call.
  • Courses and group work. A self-paced course, a cohort group, live group calls, a community feed.
  • Proof of progress. A client record that shows goals, check-ins, notes and sessions together, so you can see who is thriving and who has gone quiet.

Keap covers the first, second and fourth jobs well, the third partially, and the rest not at all. That gap is why many coaches end up with Keap plus a course platform plus a scheduling tool plus a community app. If that sounds familiar, our guide on managing a coaching pipeline without Keap walks through the sales side in more depth.

Which five questions should you answer before you switch?

Answer these five questions about your own practice before you look at any feature list. Your answers point to a short list faster than any comparison grid.

  1. Where does the coaching happen after someone pays? If the answer is "only on live calls", a booking-and-billing tool may be enough. If clients work through a program, tasks or habits between sessions, you need delivery built in.
  2. How big is your list, and how much of it is active clients? A coach with 3,000 newsletter subscribers and 12 clients has a different problem from an agency with 40,000 contacts. Keap's starting price already assumes 1,500 contacts and 2 users.
  3. Do you sell to individuals or to companies? Executive and business coaches who send proposals and quotes to HR teams need different paperwork from life coaches selling a 12-week program to a person.
  4. Do you handle health information? A health or nutrition coach whose clients share diagnoses or lab results may need a system that offers HIPAA compliance. Coaching is not medical treatment, and clinical records belong in a clinical system.
  5. Who will set it up? Keap requires an implementation package. Some alternatives expect you to build everything yourself; others will build parts for you.

Keep your answers to hand. The table below maps the common patterns to a pick.

How did we choose and rank these tools?

We started from the Keap jobs a coaching business relies on (leads, email, booking, payments), then looked for tools that cover those jobs without the sales-team overhead. Each tool had to handle at least booking or payments for coaching clients. Prices and plan limits come from each vendor's pricing page as listed in October 2026; where we could not reload a page, we say so. We did not run hands-on tests of every tool; where we describe limits, they come from vendor documentation and public reviews.

Ranking weighed four things. First, whether the client journey lives under one login. Second, whether the tool supports the work clients do between sessions. Third, the realistic monthly cost once you add what the tool leaves out. Fourth, how much effort the setup takes. Coaching-specific tools rank above general CRMs on delivery, but general CRMs rank well when your answers to the checklist point toward sales automation. Ratings are quoted only where we saw them, with the date.

One note on Keap itself: its pricing page shows one plan, starting at $299 a month billed monthly or $2,988 a year, with a required one-time implementation package listed at $500 (shown discounted from $1,500). Additional users cost $39 a month each. On Trustpilot, Keap showed 1.1 from 498 reviews in October 2026.

1. Coachful: the best Keap alternative for coaches who deliver programs

Coachful is a coaching platform that puts the sales side and the delivery side in one place. One subscription covers booking, payments, contracts, program delivery with habits and check-ins, courses, a community, a website with funnels and email, and an AI assistant. The coach has one login; the client gets one branded app. It is built for coaches who deliver programs rather than single sessions, solo coaches growing into a small team, and coaches who are replacing 4 to 6 tools.

The Keap jobs it takes over

Start with leads, since that is what most coaches bought Keap for. Coachful's Prospects page lists every lead with its source form and stage, and the website builder, funnels and email sit in the same account, so a discovery-call booking, a lead-magnet download or an application lands in one list. Funnel types include booking, application, lead-magnet and checkout funnels, with pixels and UTM tracking. Email covers lists, broadcasts and multi-step sequences with triggers, delays, branching and A/B splits, which is the part of Keap's automation a solo coach tends to use.

Coachful's Prospects page with All Leads, Board and Grow tabs and a demo list of 22 leads, each with a source and a stage.

Here is a short walkthrough of how prospects are tracked:

Booking pages support availability rules, buffers, minimum notice and time-zone detection, with two-way Google, Apple/iCloud and Outlook calendar sync. Sessions can use built-in video or auto-created Zoom, Meet or Teams links. Reminders go by email, plus SMS 24 hours before and WhatsApp 1 hour before once messaging is enabled. You can sell paid sessions and session credits, ask intake questions at booking, and assign multi-coach session types round-robin or to the least-busy coach.

Payments run through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account: one-time, subscriptions, payment plans, order bumps, coupons, refunds, Apple Pay and Google Pay, and Stripe Tax. Every transaction gets an invoice, and you can send manual invoices. Since August 2026 Coachful charges a 0% platform fee, so you only pay Stripe or Razorpay processing. Coaching agreements with e-signature go out before the first call and are stored on the client record.

The part Keap never had: delivery between sessions

Once a client pays, Coachful keeps going where Keap stops. Multi-week programs carry weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins, goals with progress bars and streaks. Courses (modules, lessons, drip, completion tracking), downloads, videos and events are delivered into the client's branded home and app. Enrolling in a program creates a cohort group automatically, with a community feed, group chat, direct messages and video events. The client record pulls goals, check-ins, habits, notes, intake answers, tags, payments and sessions together, with a status of thriving, active, quiet or at risk, so you know who needs a nudge before the renewal conversation.

Michelle, the built-in AI assistant, works from your live practice data: it can build programs, draft emails, summarize recorded sessions and brief you before a call. Questions and planning are included in your Coachful membership; confirmed builds and changes use AI credits. ICF credential tracking counts coaching hours and distinct clients against ACC, PCC and MCC thresholds, which matters to a coach working toward a credential.

Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. Keap requires an implementation package; Coachful offers a free build service on every plan instead. From Create, choose "We'll build it for you · FREE", describe what you want (a website, a funnel, a sales page, a program, an email sequence, an automation), and attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files such as your logo, brand guide or existing copy. The Coachful team builds it inside your own account, usually within about 24 hours. Nothing is invented: no fake credentials, testimonials or prices, and gaps are left for you to fill. One recent example: a business mentor for beauty professionals got a 12-week mentorship sales page, a free start-up-guide funnel and rewritten follow-up emails. Recording videos, logo design, ad management and ongoing marketing are not included. More detail is in our white-glove service guide.

Where Keap is still stronger

Be clear-eyed about the trade. Keap has lead scoring, a sales pipeline with pipeline automation, quotes, and U.S. text marketing with a texting tier included. Coachful has no multi-stage sales deal board built for large sales teams and no Salesforce or HubSpot integration. Coachful also does not offer PayPal and is not HIPAA-certified, and every plan is a paid subscription after the trial. The client app ships under the Coachful listing with your branding, not under your own App Store account. If your business is mostly outbound sales with a team working a deal board, Keap or HubSpot fits that better.

Price: flat monthly plans, with lower plans capping the number of clients and Pro covering unlimited clients (current plans: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients). Monthly plans cancel in one click, and there is a free trial. Clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding. See the coaching CRM and email marketing pages for the details.

2. HubSpot: the closest match to Keap's CRM, with a free door in

HubSpot homepage promoting its customer platform
HubSpot's homepage in October 2026.

HubSpot is the alternative for coaches whose Keap habit is really a CRM habit. It is a general-purpose CRM and marketing and sales suite, and its free tier covers contacts, companies, deals, tasks, email tracking and live chat for up to 2 users and 1,000 contacts, with no time limit and no credit card. For a coach who mainly used Keap to keep track of leads and send follow-up email, that free tier alone may replace a $299 monthly bill.

How the tiers line up for a solo coach

As listed in October 2026, the free tools include 2,000 email sends a month with HubSpot branding, one personal meetings link with HubSpot branding, up to 30 landing pages with branding, and one automated email action. Starter is priced per seat; the standard Starter Core Seat price is $20 per seat per month, and a limited-time new-customer promotion showed $10 a month billed monthly ($7 billed annually). Starter raises you to 1,000 personal and team meetings links, removes branding from landing pages, and allows up to 15 pipelines. Professional is $100 per seat a month ($90 billed annually) and carries a required one-time onboarding fee whose amount the platform page does not show.

HubSpot pricing page comparing Free, Starter and Professional tiers
HubSpot's pricing page in October 2026.

Payments run through Stripe on all tiers or through HubSpot Payments on Starter and above (U.S., Canada and UK). HubSpot Payments lists 2.9% for cards and 0.8% for ACH (capped at $10). Its platform fee is free for a year, then 0.5% per transaction. Taking Stripe payments inside HubSpot adds a 0.75% HubSpot fee on top of Stripe's own rate. Quotes require Professional.

What it does not do for coaching

HubSpot is built for marketing and sales teams, not for delivering a coaching program. Its documented features center on CRM, marketing and sales rather than client programs, habits or check-ins, so a coach still needs a separate tool for delivery and a separate place for courses. Its contact-tier and seat model also grows in cost as the list grows. On Trustpilot, HubSpot showed 1.5 from 1,176 reviews in October 2026.

Pick it over Coachful if you run a sales-heavy practice with a team working deals, you need a Salesforce-style pipeline or deep CRM reporting, and you are happy to deliver your coaching in another tool.

3. HoneyBook: for coaches who sell to companies with proposals

HoneyBook homepage for service-business client management
HoneyBook's homepage in October 2026.

HoneyBook suits the coach whose sales process looks like a consultant's: a proposal, a contract, an invoice, then sessions. It is a client-management CRM for service businesses with proposals, contracts, invoices, a scheduler and a client portal. For an executive coach sending a leadership program to an HR director, the proposal-to-payment flow covers the paperwork side of Keap without the marketing automation weight.

Plans and payment rules

HoneyBook's pricing page, as listed in October 2026, shows Starter at $29 a month billed annually, with unlimited clients and projects and 2 live lead forms. Essentials is $59 a month ($49 billed annually) with up to 2 team members and 10 lead forms. Premium is $129 a month ($109 billed annually) with unlimited team members, unlimited lead forms and multiple companies. There is a 30-day free trial with no card required.

Two details matter for a coach comparing it with Keap. The scheduler and automations are not on Starter, so a coach who needs booking starts at Essentials. And payments must run through HoneyBook's own processing: you cannot bring your own Stripe account. The page conflicts on card fees, showing 2.7% + 10¢ in the FAQ and 2.9% + 25¢ in the plan comparison; ACH is 1.5%. Trustpilot showed 4.1 from 748 reviews in October 2026.

The coaching gap

HoneyBook has no programs, courses, habits, check-ins or community. Between sessions, your client sees a portal with documents and invoices, not a plan of work. For a coach selling ongoing group programs, that means adding a course or community tool. Our HoneyBook alternatives for life coaches guide goes deeper on that gap.

Pick it over Coachful if your clients are companies that expect formal proposals and quotes, your coaching is mostly live sessions, and you want a polished proposal-to-invoice flow above everything else.

4. Practice Better: the health coach's choice when records need HIPAA

Practice Better homepage for health and wellness practitioners
Practice Better's homepage in October 2026.

Practice Better is the right Keap replacement for one specific group: health, nutrition and wellness coaches who keep sensitive health information. It describes itself as an all-in-one EHR (electronic health record) with scheduling, telehealth video, integrated billing and payments, secure messaging, a client portal, forms and note templates, programs and courses, group sessions, journaling and a mobile app. Its comparison table lists HIPAA, PIPEDA and GDPR compliance.

Client caps at every tier

As listed in October 2026, Practice Better's plans are priced by client count. The free Sprout plan supports 3 clients. Starter is $35 a month billed monthly ($25 billed annually) for 1 practitioner and 10 clients. Professional is $69 a month ($59 billed annually) for 300 clients, adding group scheduling, group messaging, fixed-date programs, payment plans and Zapier. Plus is $99 a month ($89 billed annually) with unlimited clients, evergreen and self-paced programs, portal branding and 750 SMS reminders a month. Team is $155 a month ($145 billed annually) with 2 practitioner licenses, extra practitioners at $50 each, and migration support. Paid plans have a 14-day trial; Team has 30 days.

Notice where the coaching features sit. Fixed-date programs start at Professional, while evergreen and self-paced programs and portal branding need Plus. A coach running a rolling 12-week program with their own branding is effectively on the $99 tier.

The scope line

If you are a health coach, remember that coaching is not medical care. Refer clients with symptoms, medication questions or eating-disorder signs to their doctor or a licensed clinician. If your practice keeps clinical records, a HIPAA-ready system like Practice Better is the right place for them; Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and does not offer a BAA. Our Practice Better alternatives for holistic health coaches guide covers that trade.

Pick it over Coachful if you need HIPAA compliance for client health records, you chart sessions like a practitioner, or you work under a clinical license alongside your coaching.

5. Paperbell: the simplest switch for 1:1 package sellers

Paperbell homepage about selling coaching online
Paperbell's homepage in October 2026.

Paperbell is for the coach who found Keap far too much software. It sells itself as the simple way to sell coaching online: a branded website with scheduling, payments, contracts, messaging and a client portal, all priced as one tier. Picture a coach selling three packages: a single session, a 6-session block and a 3-month container. That is the shape Paperbell is built around.

Price, with a caveat

Paperbell's pricing page blocked our request when we tried to reload it on October 29, 2026, so we could not confirm today's figure. Its single paid tier was listed at $97 a month, or $970 a year, when last verified in mid-October 2026, priced per coach with unlimited clients and sessions. It states no additional transaction fees; Stripe and PayPal processing apply. Check the current page before you buy.

What a Keap switcher gives up

Paperbell supports Stripe and PayPal, subscriptions, payment plans, coupons and e-signature contracts tied to package purchase, plus intake forms and group programs. Its limits are on the marketing and delivery sides. There are no funnels, and its email is reminder and workflow email rather than a marketing autoresponder, so a coach replacing Keap's nurture sequences needs another tool. It has no habit tracking or daily check-ins, no community, no AI assistant, one service provider per account, and no standalone mobile app. Paperbell's FAQ states it is not HIPAA compliant. See our Paperbell alternatives page for the full picture.

Pick it over Coachful if you only sell 1:1 packages, you want PayPal at checkout, and you prefer fewer features to learn over program delivery and email marketing.

6. Dubsado: deep admin workflows for the coach who likes building

Dubsado homepage about client workflows
Dubsado's homepage in October 2026.

Dubsado is a client-workflow CRM: forms, contracts, invoices, a scheduler and automated workflows that move a client from inquiry to booked. If you enjoyed building Keap campaign sequences, the workflow builder will feel familiar in spirit, though it automates client admin rather than marketing.

Which plan a coach needs

Dubsado lists two plans in October 2026. Starter is $35 a month ($27.92 billed annually) with unlimited clients and projects and 1 active lead-capture form. Premier is $55 a month ($43.75 billed annually) with unlimited lead forms. The Starter plan has no scheduler or automations, so a coach replacing Keap's booking and follow-up needs Premier. The 21-day trial includes full Premier access with no card required. Dubsado states no platform fee; processor rates apply, and optional surcharging can pass card costs to the client.

Limits that matter after the sale

Dubsado says itself that it does not include website building and is not an email marketing platform, so the two Keap features many coaches used most (landing pages and nurture email) need other tools. There are no courses, community, habits or check-ins. The mobile app is a companion; full functionality needs the desktop web app. Our Dubsado alternatives for coaches guide covers those gaps.

Pick it over Coachful if your priority is fine-grained admin workflows with many branching forms and you already have a separate website, email platform and delivery tool you are happy with.

7. Bonsai: when coaching shares the calendar with consulting work

Bonsai homepage for freelancer and agency business management
Bonsai's homepage in October 2026.

Bonsai is freelancer and agency business management: proposals, contracts, invoices, time tracking and projects. It earns a place here for coaches who also consult, facilitate workshops or bill projects by the hour, because it handles time-based billing that coaching-first tools are not built around.

Per-user pricing and payment fees

As listed in October 2026, every Bonsai plan is priced per user. Basic is $15 a month ($9 billed annually), Essentials $25 ($19 annually), Premium $39 ($29 annually) and Elite $59 ($49 annually) with a minimum of 3 users. Basic has no invoicing or payments, so a coach taking payment starts at Essentials. The free trial runs 7 days. The pricing page links fees to its help center; an earlier profile listed Bonsai Payments at 2.9% + $0.30 for cards, and a 1% platform fee when you use your own Stripe or PayPal where Bonsai Payments is available. We could not re-read that help article in October 2026, so confirm before relying on it.

Why it ranks last for coaches

Bonsai has no courses, community, client habits, check-ins or coaching programs, and custom domains were marked "expected in 2026" rather than live. Email marketing and funnels are not its job either, so very little of Keap's marketing side carries over.

Pick it over Coachful if most of your income is consulting or project work billed by time, and coaching is a smaller part of the business.

How do the features compare side by side?

What does each option cost at 5, 15 and 40 clients?

Here is the monthly cost on monthly billing, as listed in October 2026, for the plan that covers booking and payments at each client count. The examples assume a solo coach. Processor fees are extra everywhere, and the tools without delivery features need another tool for courses or community on top.

The Keap row is the starting configuration of 1,500 contacts and 2 users. A coach with a bigger newsletter list pays more: Keap's pricing widget data shows, for example, $36 a month for the first extra 1,000 contacts. On annual billing Keap is $2,988 a year, and the annual contract carries a $299 early termination fee.

How does a coach move from Keap to Coachful, step by step?

Here is how a typical example practice would make the move: a career coach with a 1,200-contact list, 18 active clients on a 12-week program, a discovery-call funnel and a five-email nurture sequence in Keap. The numbers are illustrative.

  1. Export from Keap before you give notice. Contacts export to CSV from Contacts > People; exports of 1,000 or fewer download immediately, and larger ones arrive as an emailed link. Tags are not included in that export, so also run the Tag Tracker report to keep your segments. Download orders as CSV from the All Sales report.
  2. Copy your email sequences as text. Paste each Keap email, its delay and its trigger into one document. You will rebuild these, not import them, so the wording is what matters.
  3. Start the Coachful trial and request the build. From Create, request a white-glove build: attach your Keap landing page link, your logo and the sequence document, and ask for the discovery-call funnel and email sequence. Clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding.
  4. Connect Stripe and set up offers. Connect your own Stripe account, then create the 12-week program offer with a payment plan, a single-session offer and any coupons you used in Keap.
  5. Rebuild booking and the agreement. Set availability, buffers and intake questions on the discovery-call and session types, connect Google or Outlook calendar, and attach your coaching agreement so it is signed before the first call.
  6. Turn the program into weekly work. Add weekly goals, daily tasks, a habit or two and a weekly check-in to the 12-week program. This is the step Keap could never do, and it is where clients notice the change.
  7. Run both systems for one billing cycle. Keep Keap live while the new funnel collects leads and the first clients log in. Check that reminders arrive and payments land in Stripe.
  8. Cancel Keap properly. Keap needs at least 10 days' notice by phone. If you are on an annual contract, budget for the $299 early termination fee.
A monitor with Coachful's email inbox beside a tablet showing a grid of client profiles

If you are earlier in your business than this example, the guide for new coaches shows a lighter setup; established practices should look at Coachful for established coaches.

What red flags and switching costs should you watch for?

Switching away from Keap has costs beyond the new subscription. These are the ones coaches most often miss.

  • Tags do not travel with contacts. Keap's contact export includes standard and custom fields but not tags. If your segments live in tags, run the Tag Tracker report first, or you lose the difference between past clients, warm leads and webinar sign-ups.
  • Paid export services. Keap's checkout data lists one-time export services such as a data dump ($399), file attachment export ($599) and email history export ($999). These are not shown on the pricing page, but they signal that some data is harder to get out than a contact CSV. Decide what you actually need before paying for any of them.
  • Cancellation terms. Ten days' notice by phone, and a $299 early termination fee on annual contracts. Put the notice date in your calendar before you start the move.
  • Payment subscriptions that live in Keap Pay. Recurring payments set up through Keap's own processor will not move to a new Stripe account on their own. Plan to ask active clients to re-enter payment details, and time it with a natural renewal point.
  • Replacing one big tool with five small ones. A cheaper CRM plus a scheduler plus a course platform plus a community app can cost close to what Keap did, with four logins for your clients. Add up the whole stack, not one line.
  • Locked-in processors. Some alternatives, such as HoneyBook, require their own payment processing. If you want your Stripe history in one place, check this before you migrate.
  • Clinical data in the wrong system. Health coaches holding diagnoses or lab results should keep them in a HIPAA-ready system. Coachful is not HIPAA-certified.

For the funnel side of the move, see our ClickFunnels alternatives for coaches; for the scheduling side, Calendly alternatives for coaches.

What is our verdict on Keap alternatives for coaches?

Choose Coachful if your coaching continues after the sale, which for most coaches it does. It covers the parts of Keap a coach used most (funnels, email sequences, booking, payments, a lead list) and adds the programs, habits, check-ins, courses and community that Keap never had, under one login, with a free white-glove build in place of a paid implementation package. It is the right pick for life, career, business and mindset coaches running programs, and for solo coaches growing into a small team. See the coaching software overview for everything included.

Choose HubSpot if you want Keap's CRM habits for less and coach mostly live. Choose HoneyBook for proposal-driven corporate work, Practice Better for health records that need HIPAA, Paperbell for the simplest 1:1 package setup, Dubsado for detailed admin workflows, and Bonsai if consulting is the bigger part of your income. Keap itself is still a strong fit for sales-led teams who live in a pipeline and send U.S. text campaigns.

Frequently asked questions about Keap alternatives for coaches

What is the best Keap alternative for coaches?

For most coaches, Coachful, because it combines Keap's lead, email, booking and payment jobs with program delivery, check-ins, courses and community in one login. If you mainly need a CRM, HubSpot's free tier is the closest like-for-like swap. If you handle health records that need HIPAA, look at Practice Better.

Is there a cheaper alternative to Keap?

Yes. Every other tool in this list starts below Keap's listed $299 a month, and HubSpot's free CRM costs nothing for up to 2 users and 1,000 contacts. The real comparison is the whole stack: a cheap CRM plus separate course, scheduling and community tools can add up quickly.

Can I move my Keap contacts to another platform?

Yes. Keap exports contacts to CSV from Contacts > People, including standard and custom fields. Tags are not included, so run the Tag Tracker report as well, and download orders from the All Sales report.

Does Coachful replace Keap's email automation?

For a coaching business, largely yes. Coachful includes email lists, broadcasts and multi-step sequences with triggers, delays, branching and A/B splits, plus funnels with pixels and UTM tracking. It does not have Keap's lead scoring, U.S. text marketing tiers or a multi-stage deal board for large sales teams.

What is Coachful's free white-glove build service?

It is a build service included on every plan. From Create, you describe what you want built, such as a website, funnel, program or email sequence, and attach up to 8 links and 10 files. The Coachful team builds it in your account, usually within about 24 hours, without inventing credentials, testimonials or prices.

How hard is it to cancel Keap?

Keap requires at least 10 days' notice by phone. Annual contracts carry a $299 early termination fee. Export your data before you call, and keep Keap running until the new system has handled at least one round of bookings and payments.

Can I use PayPal with these alternatives?

Paperbell supports Stripe and PayPal, and Keap supports PayPal as a third-party processor. Coachful does not offer PayPal; payments run through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account, with Apple Pay and Google Pay available.

Which Keap alternative is HIPAA compliant?

Practice Better lists HIPAA, PIPEDA and GDPR compliance in its plan comparison. Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and does not sign a BAA, and Paperbell's FAQ says it is not HIPAA compliant. Health coaches should keep clinical records in a clinical system and refer medical questions to a doctor.

Do I need a separate course platform if I leave Keap?

Only if your new tool lacks courses. Keap never hosted courses, so many coaches already pay for one. Coachful includes courses with modules, lessons, drip and completion tracking, delivered in the client's branded app, so that tool can go too.

Is there a free trial before I switch?

Yes, most tools here offer one. Coachful has a free trial, HoneyBook lists 30 days, Dubsado 21 days, Practice Better 14 days on most paid plans and Bonsai 7 days. HubSpot has a free tier rather than a timed trial.
