Top 12 Mighty Networks Alternatives for Wellness Coaches

The best Mighty Networks alternatives for wellness coaches are the platforms that keep what Mighty does well (a member community, courses and live events) and add what a wellness practice runs on every day: 1:1 booking, a signed coaching agreement, and habits and check-ins that clients actually complete between sessions. If your clients only need a feed and a course library, Mighty Networks may still be enough. If you sell 12-week programs built around sleep, movement, stress or nutrition habits, you will likely end up paying for three or four extra tools around it.
We make Coachful, and we rank it first here because it covers that full wellness client journey in one login: booking, payments, agreements, multi-week programs with daily habits and morning and evening check-ins, courses and a community, all inside one branded client app. The other 11 tools below are fair options for specific situations, and each section ends with the case where you should pick it over Coachful instead.
If you want the general version of this comparison, read our Mighty Networks alternatives guide. This article is only about wellness coaches.
What do wellness coaches need from a Mighty Networks alternative?
Wellness coaches need a platform that supports behaviour change between sessions, not just conversation. A community feed is useful, but the work of wellness coaching happens on a Tuesday morning when a client logs a walk, a glass of water or a 10-minute wind-down routine, and on a Sunday evening when they reflect on the week.

Here is what a typical wellness practice actually does, and where Mighty Networks fits or falls short based on what it documents as of October 2026:
- Discovery calls and 1:1 sessions. Most wellness coaches sell a free consultation that turns into a package. Mighty Networks has events and livestreams but no 1:1 scheduling, so coaches pair it with a separate booking tool.
- Agreements and health screening. A wellness client should sign a coaching agreement that states coaching is not medical care, and answer intake questions that surface red flags. Mighty Networks has no contracts or e-signature.
- Daily habits and check-ins. Sleep, hydration, movement, meditation and meal habits need a per-client tracker and a regular check-in. Mighty Networks has no per-client habits, check-ins or private coaching plans.
- Group programs and challenges. A 21-day reset or a quarterly cohort is where Mighty is genuinely good: community spaces, courses and live events in one place, with free Mighty-branded iOS and Android apps on every plan.
- Payments. Wellness offers mix one-time packages, monthly memberships and payment plans. Mighty takes a platform fee of 2% on Launch, 1% on Scale and 0.5% on Growth and Mighty Pro, on top of Stripe processing.
- A branded app. Your own app under your own App Store account is only available on Mighty Pro, which is quote-based.
There is also a scope question every wellness coach has to handle. Coaching supports lifestyle change; it is not diagnosis or treatment. The National Board for Health and Wellness Coaching sets standards for certified health and wellness coaches, and a good practice refers clients to a doctor, registered dietitian or mental health professional when they report symptoms such as chest pain, fainting, disordered eating, a new diagnosis, medication changes or thoughts of self-harm. Your software should make that intake screening easy, but it does not replace clinical care. If you handle protected health information as part of a covered healthcare practice, read the US Department of Health and Human Services HIPAA guidance and keep clinical records in a clinical system.

How did we choose and rank these tools?
We started from the jobs a wellness coach does each week and scored each platform on four things, in this order:
- One login for the client journey. Can a client book, pay, sign, follow a program and join the community in one place, or does the coach stitch tools together?
- Between-session delivery. Are there per-client habits, check-ins, goals and tasks, or only content and posts?
- Total stack cost. The plan price plus platform fees, plus the separate booking, contract or email tools you would still need.
- Setup effort. How long it takes a solo coach to go live, and whether anyone helps.
Prices and plan limits come from each vendor's pricing page or help documentation as listed in October 2026 (Practice Better's pricing page was checked on 27 October 2026). We did not test these products hands-on; we report what vendors document and what public reviewers say. Ratings are Trustpilot scores as seen on 25 October 2026.
1. Coachful: the full wellness client journey in one app

Coachful is a coaching platform built for coaches who deliver programs, not just sessions. For a wellness coach, that means the discovery call, the agreement, the payment, the 12-week program, the daily habits, the community and the follow-up emails all live in one account, and the client sees all of it in one branded app.
What it is, who it is for, and what it does not do. Coachful is one subscription covering booking, payments, contracts, program delivery with habits and check-ins, courses, a community, a website with funnels and email, and an AI assistant. It suits solo wellness coaches, coaches growing into a small team, and anyone replacing four to six tools. It is not HIPAA-certified and offers no BAA, so it is not for clinical record-keeping or insurance billing. It has no PayPal, no permanent free plan, and no Garmin, Fitbit, Whoop or Oura sync. The client app ships under the Coachful listing with your branding, not under your own App Store account. To start, take a free trial and request the free white-glove build described below.
Between sessions, where wellness results happen. Programs run week by week with weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins, goals with progress bars and streaks. A sleep-and-stress program can ask a client to rate energy each morning, log a wind-down routine each evening and track a 30-day meditation habit, all without a separate app.

Coaching flows let you build those check-ins once and reuse them. The library groups them into Welcome, Daily, Weekly and Journeys, so a new client can get a welcome flow on day one and a weekly reflection every Sunday.

Here is a short walkthrough of how check-ins are set up:
Booking, agreements and payments. Booking pages support availability rules, buffers, minimum notice and time-zone detection, with two-way Google, Apple/iCloud and Outlook sync and built-in video or auto-created Zoom, Meet or Teams links. You can add intake questions on booking, which is where wellness coaches put screening questions about medical conditions, medications and current care. Coaching agreements with e-signature go out before the first call and are stored on the client record, so your scope statement is signed before session one. See coaching contracts and scheduling software for detail.

Payments run through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account: one-time packages, subscriptions, payment plans, order bumps, coupons, refunds, Apple Pay and Google Pay, with an invoice per transaction. Coachful charges a 0% platform fee (since August 2026), so you pay only Stripe or Razorpay processing. That is a real difference from the 0.5% to 2% Mighty Networks adds on sales.
Community and group programs. You still get a community feed, group chat, direct messages and video events. Cohort groups are created automatically when a client enrolls in a program, so a spring reset cohort gets its own space without manual setup. Courses with modules, drip and completion tracking sit alongside downloads, videos and bundles in the client's home. Read how to run coaching cohorts without Mighty Networks for the full approach.
For movement and nutrition work. The Fitness & Nutrition pack adds a workout builder with an illustrated exercise library, client workout logging, nutrition targets up to calories and macros, meal plans, recipes, food lookup and barcode scanning, private progress photos and measurements, and weekly check-ins. There are no stock exercise videos; you attach your own demos.
The client record and Michelle. Each client record holds goals, check-ins, habits, notes, intake answers, tags, payments and sessions, with a status of thriving, active, quiet or at risk. Michelle, the built-in AI assistant, works from that live data: she briefs you before sessions, summarizes recorded sessions and drafts programs and emails. Questions and planning are included in your Coachful membership; confirmed builds and changes use AI credits.
Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. On every plan, you can open Create > We'll build it for you and describe what you want: a website, a funnel, a program, a course outline, a check-in flow, an intake form or an email sequence. Attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files, such as your logo, photos and existing copy, and the Coachful team builds it inside your account, usually within about 24 hours. Nothing is invented: no fake credentials, testimonials or prices; gaps are left for you. One recent example: a menopause and midlife health coach starting from nothing got a five-page site in sage and cream with every button leading to a free 20-minute consultation. It does not include recording videos, logo design or ad management. More in our white-glove service guide.

Price. Flat monthly plans; lower plans cap the number of clients, Pro is unlimited, and monthly plans cancel in one click. Current plans: (Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients). Clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding, which matters if you are moving members off Mighty Networks; see how to migrate from Mighty Networks.
Limits to know. No PayPal, no wearable sync, not HIPAA-certified, no third-party plugins, and the app is not under your own App Store account. If any of those is a requirement, look at the alternatives below.
2. Circle: the closest like-for-like community swap

Circle is the platform most Mighty Networks hosts look at first, because it does the same core job: community spaces, courses, events, live streams and paid memberships. For a wellness coach, Circle works well as the home for a membership such as a monthly "calm club" with weekly live breathwork, a resource library and member threads.
Pricing as listed in October 2026 is $89/mo for Professional, $199/mo for Business and $419/mo for Scale, all billed annually; monthly-billed prices are not shown on the pricing page. Circle Plus is custom-priced. Each self-serve plan has a 14-day free trial with no credit card required. Circle takes a fee on payments of 2% on Professional, 1% on Business and Scale, and 0.5% on Circle Plus, plus Stripe processing, which is almost the same fee shape as Mighty Networks.
Where Circle stops for wellness work is the same place Mighty does. It has no 1:1 scheduling or client management back office, and no per-client habits, check-ins or coaching plans. A coach selling private packages would still need a booking tool, a contract tool and something for daily tracking. Branded mobile apps are only on custom-priced Circle Plus. Circle holds a Trustpilot score of 4.1 from 129 reviews as seen on 25 October 2026. Our Circle vs Mighty Networks comparison covers the two side by side.
Pick it over Coachful if your wellness business is mainly a large paid community with group content and you do not sell 1:1 programs, so you will not need booking, agreements or habit tracking.
3. Kajabi: a content-led wellness brand in one place

Kajabi suits a wellness coach whose business is mostly digital products: an online yoga course, a gut-health masterclass, a membership with a community and an email list that drives launches. It combines courses, community, a website, funnels and email marketing.
As listed in October 2026, Basic is $179/mo ($143/mo annual) with 5 products, 2,500 contacts, 1 community and 0 AI credits. Growth is $249/mo ($199/mo annual) with 50 products and 25,000 contacts. Pro is $499/mo ($399/mo annual). Kajabi Payments in the US costs 2.9% + $0.30 on Basic, falling to 2.7% + $0.30 on Pro; using a different processor (other than PayPal) adds a Kajabi fee of 2% on Basic, 1% on Growth or 0.5% on Pro. The help centre describes a 14-day trial where a card is optional, and some features stay locked until a paid plan starts.
For wellness coaching specifically, Kajabi treats coaching as products and communities rather than per-client plans. There is no habit tracking and no daily client check-ins, so the between-session part of a wellness program has to live in another tool or in a manual email rhythm. The 2,500-contact cap on Basic can also arrive quickly if you run free challenges to grow a list. Kajabi holds a Trustpilot score of 3.4 from 2,347 reviews as seen on 25 October 2026.
Pick it over Coachful if you sell mainly recorded courses and launches to a large audience, and private coaching is a small part of your income.
4. Skool: low-cost group challenges with a leaderboard

Skool combines a community, a classroom and a calendar inside one group, with gamified leaderboards and levels. That gamification can work nicely for a wellness challenge: members earn points for posting a daily walk or a meal photo, and the leaderboard keeps a 30-day challenge visible.
As listed in October 2026, Hobby costs $9/mo ($7.50/mo annual) and Pro costs $99/mo ($82.50/mo annual), both with unlimited members, courses, videos and live calls. The trade-off is in fees: Hobby charges 10% + 30¢ on every transaction, and Pro charges 2.9% + 30¢ up to $899 and 3.9% + 30¢ above $900. Payments run only through Skool Payments, and the fees are non-refundable. The pricing page shows "Try for free" buttons, but the trial length and card requirement were not stated when we checked.
The limits for a wellness practice are clear. Skool has no custom domain website, funnels, email automation or public API. It has no 1:1 client records, intake forms, habits or check-ins, so screening questions and private progress tracking need another tool. Points on a leaderboard also measure posting, not whether a client actually slept better. Skool holds a Trustpilot score of 1.6 from 54 reviews as seen on 25 October 2026. Our Skool vs Mighty Networks comparison goes deeper.
Pick it over Coachful if you run a low-ticket group challenge where the community and leaderboard are the whole product, and you have no 1:1 clients to manage.
5. Podia: a simple storefront for courses and sessions

Podia is a straightforward storefront that sells courses, downloads, webinars, coaching sessions and a community from one place. A wellness coach with a few products, such as a meal-prep guide, a stress course and a paid 1:1 session, can get a clean shop running without much setup.
As listed in October 2026, Mover is $49/mo ($42/mo annual) with 50 products and 100 email subscribers included, and charges a 5% Podia fee on sales. Shaker is $99/mo ($84/mo annual) with 500 email subscribers and 0% Podia fee. Earthquaker is $179/mo ($150/mo annual) with unlimited products and 1,000 email subscribers. Stripe or PayPal processing applies on top. The free trial is 14 days with full access and no card required.
The email subscriber allowances are small for a wellness coach who grows through a free guide or challenge, and an older profile notes there is no mobile app and no native video calls. Podia has no client habits, check-ins or per-client plans, so a 12-week program becomes a course plus your own follow-up. Podia holds a Trustpilot score of 4.1 from 153 reviews as seen on 25 October 2026.
Pick it over Coachful if you mostly sell a small catalogue of digital products and the occasional session, and you value the simplest possible storefront over program delivery.
6. Practice Better: a HIPAA-ready portal for clinical-adjacent wellness work

Practice Better is a practice management platform aimed at health coaches, nutritionists, dietitians, functional medicine practitioners and similar professions. It is the one direct substitute in this list built around the health side of wellness: scheduling, telehealth video, billing, secure messaging, a client portal and mobile app, forms and note templates, journaling, and programs and courses.
Its pricing page, checked on 27 October 2026, lists Starter at $35/mo billed monthly ($25/mo annually) for 10 clients, Professional at $69/mo ($59/mo annually) for 300 clients, Plus at $99/mo ($89/mo annually) for unlimited clients, and Team at $155/mo ($145/mo annually) with 2 practitioner licences. A free Sprout plan supports 3 clients. Paid plans have a 14-day trial; Team has 30 days. The pricing page lists HIPAA, PIPEDA and GDPR compliance, which matters if your work sits close to clinical care.
The limits are on the coaching and community side. Group features such as fixed-date programs and group messaging start on Professional, while evergreen and self-paced programs, portal branding and SMS reminders need Plus. It is designed as an EHR-style system, so community, funnels and a full website are not its focus, and wellness coaches who want an active member feed often keep a separate community tool.
Pick it over Coachful if you are a licensed practitioner or work with protected health information and need a HIPAA-compliant system with charting, or you need insurance-style billing.
7. Thinkific: course-first wellness education

Thinkific is a course platform that also offers communities, memberships and webinar products. It is a good match for a wellness coach who teaches structured material at scale, such as a 6-module mindful eating course or a certification-style programme for yoga teachers.
Prices rose about 10% on 13 August 2026. As listed in October 2026, Start is $109/mo ($82/mo annual) for up to 10,000 current students with 1 community and 5 live events; Grow is $219/mo ($164/mo annual); Expand is $499/mo ($374/mo annual). Every self-serve plan has a 30-day free trial. Thinkific charges 0% transaction fees when you use Thinkific Payments, at a rate it describes as "in line with other processors at 2.9%"; third-party gateways carry an extra fee not listed on the page.
For wellness coaching, the gaps are 1:1 work and daily tracking. An older profile notes coaching relies on external booking links, and there are no client habits, daily check-ins or per-client plans. A branded mobile app is a $199/mo add-on. Thinkific holds a Trustpilot score of 1.8 from 868 reviews as seen on 25 October 2026. See our Thinkific alternatives roundup for more.
Pick it over Coachful if your main product is a large self-paced course library with thousands of students, and coaching is an occasional add-on.
8. Ruzuku: small, discussion-led courses with no platform fee

Ruzuku is an online course platform that serves coaches alongside creatives, nonprofits and teachers. Its strength for wellness coaches is the classroom feel: video, audio, downloads, quizzes and discussions, drip by enrollment date or fixed dates, and built-in live video meetings plus Zoom.
As listed in October 2026, the Free plan allows up to 5 students enrolled at a time; Core is $99/mo ($83.08/mo annual) with unlimited students and courses; Pro is $199/mo ($166.42/mo annual) with larger video uploads and 4K streaming. Ruzuku charges 0% transaction fees on every plan, including Free, with only Stripe or PayPal processing fees. There is a 30-day money-back guarantee instead of a timed trial.
A small cohort of five clients going through a breathwork or sleep course could run on the free plan. What Ruzuku does not have is a booking calendar, agreements, or per-client habits and check-ins, so private coaching and daily accountability sit elsewhere. Ruzuku shows a G2 badge of 4.4 on its site; we could not verify the review count.
Pick it over Coachful if you teach small live-cohort courses where discussion is the core, you want 0% fees, and you do not need 1:1 booking or habit tracking.
9. LearnWorlds: interactive video and certificates

LearnWorlds is a course and learning platform with a website builder, funnels, SCORM support and interactive video. Wellness coaches who train other practitioners, or who want quizzes embedded in a video on posture or breathing technique, will find more learning tools here than on most course platforms.
As listed in October 2026, Starter is $29/mo ($24/mo annual) with 1,000 active learners a month and a $5 fee per paid enrollment. Pro Trainer is $99/mo ($79/mo annual) with 2,000 active learners, 5 admins and no LearnWorlds fee. Learning Center is $299/mo ($249/mo annual). Stripe or PayPal gateway fees of 2.9% + $0.30 apply. There is a 30-day free trial, which LearnWorlds pages say needs no credit card; a school that is not upgraded is scheduled for deletion. The pricing page screenshot above shows euro prices.
LearnWorlds is not built for 1:1 client management, habits or check-ins, and a branded mobile app is a separately priced add-on. The $5 per enrollment on Starter adds up if you sell a low-priced wellness course. LearnWorlds holds a Trustpilot score of 4.8 from 423 reviews as seen on 25 October 2026.
Pick it over Coachful if you build accredited-style training for other wellness professionals and need SCORM, interactive video and certificates more than client coaching.
10. Teachable: the cheapest serious course storefront

Teachable is a course and digital-product platform with student mobile apps. A wellness coach can sell a recorded course, a downloadable plan and a small bundle at a low monthly cost.
As listed in October 2026, Starter is $39/mo ($29/mo annual) for 5 products but takes a 7.5% platform fee on sales. Builder is $89/mo ($69/mo annual) for 10 products, and Growth is $189/mo ($139/mo annual) for 50 products, both with 0% platform fee. Teachable Payments processing for US cards is 2.9% + 30¢. Plan cards show a 7-day free trial and a 30-day guarantee.
For wellness coaching, Teachable has no native scheduling or calendar sync, so calls rely on outside tools, and there are no client habits, daily check-ins or per-client plans. The 7.5% fee on Starter costs more than the $39 plan itself once monthly sales pass about $520. Teachable holds a Trustpilot score of 3.3 from 1,110 reviews as seen on 25 October 2026.
Pick it over Coachful if you only need to sell one or two recorded wellness courses at the lowest monthly price and are happy to run coaching elsewhere.
11. Kartra: funnels and memberships for launch-heavy coaches

Kartra is a marketing suite with pages, funnels, email and SMS, memberships, calendars and a helpdesk. It fits a wellness coach who runs frequent launches, such as a seasonal detox program with a webinar, a sales page and an email sequence.
As listed in October 2026, Essentials is $59/mo ($52/mo annual) with 500 contacts, 1 product and a 5% transaction fee. Starter is $119/mo ($99/mo annual) with 2,500 contacts, unlimited pages, products and memberships, and 0% fee. Growth is $229/mo ($189/mo annual) with 12,500 contacts. There is a 14-day free trial and a 30-day money-back guarantee.
Kartra has no client habits, check-ins or per-client coaching plans, and an older profile notes no mobile app for students or admins, which matters when clients want to log habits on their phone. Funnels and memberships are not portable to other platforms. Kartra holds a Trustpilot score of 3.2 from 129 reviews as seen on 25 October 2026.
Pick it over Coachful if marketing automation and SMS campaigns are the centre of your business and delivery happens in live group calls.
12. Systeme.io: the lowest-cost marketing starter

Systeme.io is a low-cost marketing suite with funnels, email, courses, a community, a blog and an affiliate program. A new wellness coach can launch a free "7-day hydration challenge" funnel, an email sequence and a small course without paying anything.
As listed in October 2026, the Free plan includes 2,000 contacts, 3 funnels, 1 course and 500 students. Startup is $17/mo, Webinar $47/mo and Unlimited $97/mo. Systeme.io charges 0% transaction fees on all plans, including Free, and no card is needed to start.
The trade-off is depth. An older profile notes no native 1:1 scheduling with client records, habits or check-ins, and community and course features are basic, with no branded mobile app. Systeme.io holds a Trustpilot score of 4.9 from 8,696 reviews as seen on 25 October 2026.
Pick it over Coachful if you are pre-revenue, want to test a wellness offer with a no-cost funnel and email list, and do not yet have paying 1:1 clients.
How do the features compare for wellness coaching?

Habit tracking is the column that separates wellness platforms from content platforms. For a closer look, see our habit tracking apps for wellness coaches ranking.
What does each option cost at 5, 15 and 40 clients?
Most of these tools price by features or contacts rather than clients, so the figure often stays flat. The table shows the cheapest listed plan that fits each client count, billed monthly where a monthly price is published, as listed in October 2026. Processing fees and any extra booking or contract tool are not included; for tools without 1:1 booking, add the cost of a separate scheduler.
| Platform | 5 clients | 15 clients | 40 clients | Still need separately |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful | Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients | Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients | Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients | Nothing for booking, agreements, habits or community |
| Mighty Networks (Launch) | $95/mo + 2% fee | $95/mo + 2% fee | $95/mo + 2% fee | Booking, contracts, habit tracking |
| Circle (Professional) | $89/mo annual + 2% fee | $89/mo annual + 2% fee | $89/mo annual + 2% fee | Booking, contracts, habit tracking |
| Kajabi (Basic) | $179/mo | $179/mo | $179/mo | Habit tracking |
| Skool (Pro) | $99/mo + 2.9% + 30¢ | $99/mo + 2.9% + 30¢ | $99/mo + 2.9% + 30¢ | Booking, contracts, habit tracking, email |
| Podia (Shaker) | $99/mo | $99/mo | $99/mo | Habit tracking |
| Practice Better | $35/mo (Starter, 10 clients) | $69/mo (Professional) | $69/mo (Professional) | Community feed, website |
| Thinkific (Start) | $109/mo | $109/mo | $109/mo | Booking, habit tracking |
| Ruzuku | Free (5 students) | $99/mo (Core) | $99/mo (Core) | Booking, contracts, habit tracking |
Two examples show why the plan price alone misleads. A wellness coach on Mighty Networks Launch selling a $1,500 package (an illustrative figure) gives up $30 per sale in platform fees before Stripe, and still pays for a booking tool and a contract tool. A coach who later wants their own branded app on Mighty would need Mighty Pro, which is quote-based. Our Mighty Networks pricing breakdown covers every plan in detail.
How does a wellness coach set this up in Coachful, step by step?

Here is an example setup for a wellness coach moving a 12-week "Reset" program and a small community off Mighty Networks. The program name and structure are illustrative.
- Request the build. Open Create > We'll build it for you, describe the 12-week Reset, and attach your current sales page link, your logo and your program outline. Ask for a website, a free consultation funnel and the program skeleton.
- Connect payments and calendars. Connect your own Stripe account, then sync Google, Apple or Outlook calendars so booked sessions block your time.
- Write your agreement. Add a coaching agreement that states coaching is not medical care, lists when you will refer to a doctor or therapist, and sets cancellation terms. Send it for e-signature before the first call. Have a local lawyer review the wording.
- Add screening intake questions. On the consultation booking page, ask about current medical care, medications, recent injuries and any symptoms that need clearance from a doctor before starting.
- Build the weekly structure. Give each week a goal (week 1: a consistent wake time; week 4: a daily 20-minute walk), daily tasks and one or two habits to track.
- Set check-ins. Add a morning check-in (energy, sleep quality) and an evening check-in (stress, wins), plus a weekly reflection every Sunday.
- Open the cohort space. When clients enroll in the Reset, a cohort group is created automatically. Schedule a fortnightly group call as an event.
- Move your members. Export your member list from Mighty Networks and send it to the Coachful team, who import clients, programs and content during onboarding.
- Watch the status column. Each week, scan client statuses for anyone marked quiet or at risk, and use Michelle's pre-session briefing to prepare for those calls.

What mistakes should wellness coaches avoid when leaving Mighty Networks?
- Swapping one community tool for another. If your reason for leaving is missing booking and habits, moving to another community-only platform keeps the same gaps.
- Ignoring platform fees. A 2% fee looks small until you sell premium packages. Add fees to the monthly price before you compare.
- Skipping the agreement. Wellness clients often have health histories. A signed agreement that defines scope and referral is basic protection.
- Collecting clinical data in a coaching tool. If you are a licensed clinician or need a BAA, use a HIPAA-compliant system for clinical records.
- Measuring engagement instead of behaviour. Likes and posts are not progress. Track the habit itself: sleep, steps, meals, minutes of practice.
- Moving everything at once mid-program. Migrate between cohorts, or run both platforms for one cycle, so current clients are not disrupted.
- Forgetting the content export. Mighty Networks lets you export members, but older documentation says posts and content are not bulk-exportable, so save key resources before you cancel.
Which Mighty Networks alternative should a wellness coach choose?
Choose Coachful if you sell wellness programs where results depend on what clients do between sessions. It is the only option here that puts booking, agreements, payments with 0% platform fee, daily habits, check-ins, courses and a community into one login and one branded app, and the free white-glove build gets you live without rebuilding everything yourself.
Choose Circle if you want a like-for-like community swap. Choose Practice Better if you need HIPAA compliance and clinical-style records. Choose Kajabi or Thinkific if your income is mostly recorded courses. Choose Systeme.io if you are testing an idea on a zero budget. For a broader view of community tools, see our community platforms for wellness coaches list.
Frequently asked questions
Is Mighty Networks good for wellness coaches?
Mighty Networks is good for wellness communities, courses and live events, and it includes free Mighty-branded apps. It lacks 1:1 scheduling, contracts, invoicing and per-client habits or check-ins, so coaches who sell private programs usually add other tools around it.
What is the best Mighty Networks alternative for a wellness coach with 1:1 clients?
Coachful, because it combines booking, agreements, payments, programs with daily habits and check-ins, and a community in one app. Practice Better is a strong option if you need HIPAA compliance.
Which alternative is HIPAA-compliant?
Of the tools here, Practice Better lists HIPAA, PIPEDA and GDPR compliance on its pricing page. Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and does not sign a BAA, so it is not for clinical records. Check each vendor's current documentation before handling protected health information.
What does Coachful's free white-glove service include?
You describe what you want built, such as a website, funnel, program, check-in flow or email sequence, and attach up to 8 links and 10 files. The Coachful team builds it in your account, usually within about 24 hours. It does not include video recording, logo design or ad management.
Can I keep my community if I leave Mighty Networks?
Yes. Export your member list (available on Launch and Scale per Mighty's plan documentation) and invite members to the new platform. Save important posts and files first, because content may not be bulk-exportable. Our migration guide covers the steps.
Does Coachful sync with wearables like Fitbit or Apple Health?
No. Coachful has no Garmin, Fitbit, Whoop or Oura sync, and Apple Health sync is not publicly available. Clients log habits, check-ins, workouts and measurements in the app instead.
How much does Mighty Networks cost compared with the alternatives?
As listed in October 2026, Mighty Networks Launch is $95/mo billed monthly ($79/mo annually) with a 2% platform fee, and Scale is $215/mo ($179/mo annually) with a 1% fee. Alternatives range from free plans on Systeme.io and Ruzuku to $179/mo for Kajabi Basic.
Do I need a separate booking tool with these platforms?
With Mighty Networks, Circle, Skool, Thinkific, Ruzuku, LearnWorlds, Teachable and Systeme.io, yes, for 1:1 sessions. Coachful and Practice Better include native booking with calendar sync.
Is wellness coaching the same as medical or nutrition treatment?
No. Wellness coaching supports behaviour change and does not diagnose or treat conditions. Refer clients to a doctor, registered dietitian or mental health professional when they report symptoms, medication changes, disordered eating or anything outside your training.
Can I try Coachful before committing?
Yes, there is a free trial, and monthly plans cancel in one click. You can request a white-glove build during the trial so your site and first program are ready to review.
