Top 7 Thinkific Alternatives for Coaches: Ranked and Reviewed

The best thinkific alternatives for coaches are the ones that handle the client, not just the course. Thinkific is a capable course platform, but coaching runs on booked calls, signed agreements, payments, and the work clients do between sessions. So the deciding question is simple: do you mainly sell self-paced courses to many students, or do you guide a smaller number of clients through a program with calls, check-ins and accountability? If it is the second, you need a platform built around the client journey, with courses as one part of it.
For most coaches in that second group, our pick is Coachful. We make Coachful, so weigh that, but the ranking below is built on criteria any coach can check: one login for the whole client journey, delivery between sessions, total stack cost and how much setup work stands between you and your first enrolled client. The six other tools each win in a specific situation, and every section ends by saying exactly when to choose it instead.
Every vendor price below is as listed in October 2026. If you want the deeper Thinkific picture first, read our Thinkific review and the full Thinkific pricing breakdown.
What do coaches leaving Thinkific actually need from software?
Coaches leaving Thinkific usually need four things the course model does not give them by default: 1:1 and group booking with calendar sync, a client record, structured work between sessions, and fewer tools to pay for. The course itself is rarely the problem.
Here is how the week of a typical program-based coach actually looks. A prospect books a discovery call. If they say yes, they sign a coaching agreement, pay (often in instalments), and get access to a program. Over the next 8 or 12 weeks they attend calls, watch a few lessons, complete small daily tasks, log habits and answer a short check-in. The coach reads those check-ins, adjusts the plan, and notices when someone goes quiet. A group of clients may share a community space and a weekly call.
Thinkific covers the lessons, the community and the checkout well. Its own materials list coaching and webinar products, live cohorts with Zoom, quizzes, certificates, bundles, memberships and a custom domain on the Start plan. What Thinkific does not document is the rest of that week. Based on our earlier profile of the product, 1:1 coaching relies on external booking links, and there are no client habits, daily check-ins or per-client plans. A branded mobile app is a separate add-on at $199 a month. That gap is why coaches end up with Thinkific plus a scheduler, plus an e-signature tool, plus a habit app, plus spreadsheets for client notes.
Scope and compliance points to settle first
- Health and wellness coaches: coaching is not treatment. If you work with nutrition, menopause, sleep or mental wellbeing, state that scope in your agreement and refer clients to a licensed clinician when symptoms, medication or diagnosis come up. Many coaching platforms, Coachful included, are not HIPAA-certified and are not built for clinical record-keeping or insurance billing. Our pages for health coaches and fitness and nutrition coaches go deeper.
- Payments and tax: check who processes your payments, what platform fee is added on top, and whether sales tax or VAT is calculated for you. Rules vary by country, so check with an accountant or attorney before you launch a payment plan across borders.
- Data portability: before switching, export what you can. Thinkific lets you export students and your email list to CSV; course content is downloaded manually, according to our earlier profile.
The client journey a platform should carry
Write your own journey on one line before comparing tools: discovery call, agreement, payment, onboarding, weekly calls, daily tasks and check-ins, mid-point review, renewal or graduation. Every step that a platform cannot handle becomes another subscription and another login for your client. That single line is the best filter for the list below.
How do the top 7 Thinkific alternatives compare at a glance?
Coachful leads for coaches who run programs, and the course-first tools trail it on client delivery. Ranking criteria: one login for the whole client journey, between-session delivery, total stack cost, and setup effort (including a free white-glove build where offered).
| Rank and tool | Best for | Entry price as listed | Main gap for coaches |
|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful | Coaches running programs with calls, check-ins and courses | Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients | Not HIPAA-certified; no PayPal |
| 2. Kajabi | Course and content businesses with marketing built in | $179/mo ($143/mo annual) | No habits, check-ins or per-client plans |
| 3. LearnWorlds | Course-led coaches who want interactive video and an LMS | $29/mo plus $5 per paid enrollment | Not built for 1:1 client management |
| 4. Podia | Simple storefront with courses, coaching sessions and community | $49/mo (5% fee) or $99/mo with 0% fee | Small email allowances; no client check-ins |
| 5. Mighty Networks | Community-first coaching memberships | $95/mo ($79/mo annual) plus 2% fee | No 1:1 scheduling, invoicing or contracts |
| 6. Teachable | Selling courses with student mobile apps | $39/mo (7.5% fee) or $89/mo | No native scheduling or calendar sync |
| 7. Systeme.io | Tight budgets that need funnels, email and courses | Free plan; paid from $17/mo | No 1:1 booking with client records |
How did we choose and rank these tools?
We ranked each tool against one concrete scenario: a coach with 15 active 1:1 clients and one 8-week group program, who sells a self-paced course alongside both. That is a common shape for someone who started on Thinkific with a course and then grew a coaching practice around it.
For that coach we asked four questions, in this order of weight:
- Can clients do everything behind one login? Booking, signing, paying, lessons, tasks, check-ins and community in the same place.
- Does the platform carry the work between sessions? Daily tasks, habits and check-ins the coach can read, not only video lessons.
- What does the full stack cost? The plan price plus any platform fee on sales, plus the separate tools you would still need.
- How long until the first client is enrolled? Templates, import help and whether someone will build the first version for you.
We did not run hands-on tests. Each section reports what the vendor documents and lists on its pricing page in October 2026, plus public review scores where they help. Tools that only do one slice well (a scheduler, a link-in-bio store) were left out because they cannot replace Thinkific on their own; our scheduling roundup and Stan Store alternatives cover those.
1. Coachful: the best Thinkific alternative for coaches who run programs
Coachful is a coaching platform where one subscription covers booking, payments, contracts, program delivery with habits and check-ins, courses, a community, a website with funnels and email, and an AI assistant. The coach has one login; the client has one branded app.

It is built for coaches who deliver programs, not just sessions, for solo coaches growing into a small team, and for anyone replacing four to six separate tools. Coming from Thinkific, the main shift is that the course stops being the product and becomes one layer inside a program.
What a client actually gets
A client enrolled in a Coachful program sees multi-week structure: weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins, goals with progress bars and streaks. Lessons from your courses (modules, lessons, drip and completion tracking) sit inside the same home, along with downloads, videos, books and events. Group programs get a cohort group created automatically on enrollment, so there is no manual step to add people to a community space.

That between-session layer is the part Thinkific does not offer. A habit tracker that the coach can actually see, plus a check-in that arrives every evening, turns a course into accountability.

Here is a short walkthrough of how programs are built and delivered:
What it handles behind the scenes
- Booking: booking pages with availability rules, buffers, minimum notice and time-zone detection; two-way Google, Apple/iCloud and Outlook calendar sync; built-in video or auto-created Zoom, Meet and Teams links; paid sessions and session credits; intake questions on booking. See scheduling.
- Payments: your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account, with one-time payments, subscriptions, payment plans, order bumps, coupons, refunds, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Stripe Tax. Coachful has charged a 0% platform fee since August 2026; you pay only Stripe or Razorpay processing.
- Agreements: coaching agreements with e-signature, sent before the first call and stored on the client record. See coaching contracts.
- Client record: goals, check-ins, habits, notes, intake answers, tags, payments and sessions in one place, with a status of thriving, active, quiet or at risk and an AI briefing per client.
- Marketing: a section-based website builder with blog, custom domain and 30 homepage templates; booking, application, lead-magnet and checkout funnels; email broadcasts and multi-step sequences with branching and A/B splits.
- Michelle, the AI assistant: works from your live practice data to build programs, draft emails, summarize recorded sessions and brief you before calls. Questions and planning are included in your Coachful membership; confirmed builds use AI credits.

For course-led coaches specifically, the templates matter: more than 40 ready-to-film program templates and 48 course templates with quizzes, so you are adapting a structure rather than starting from a blank page. If you hold or are working toward an ICF credential, Coachful also counts coaching hours and distinct clients against ACC, PCC and MCC thresholds and exports a client coaching log (ICF hour tracking).

What it will not do
Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and does not sign a BAA, so it is not for clinical records or insurance billing. It does not accept PayPal. The client app ships under the Coachful listing with your branding, not under your own App Store account. It is not a course marketplace, there are no third-party plugins, and it does not sync with Garmin, Fitbit, Whoop or Oura. If you sell a large catalogue of self-paced courses to thousands of strangers and never meet them, a course platform remains a closer fit.
What it costs
Plans are flat and monthly. Lower plans cap the number of clients, Pro is unlimited, and team plans add coach seats. Current plans: (Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients). Monthly plans cancel in one click, and there is a free trial. On Trustpilot, Coachful shows 4.5 from 21 reviews; Thinkific shows 1.8 from 868 reviews as seen on October 25, 2026.
Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. On every plan, you can open Create and choose We'll build it for you, describe what you want, attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files (logos, photos, brand guides, copy, documents), and the Coachful team builds it inside your own account, usually within about 24 hours. That can be a website, a funnel, a sales page, a program, a course outline with written material, an email sequence, a form or an automation. Nothing is invented: no fake credentials, testimonials or prices, and gaps are left for you to fill. It does not cover recording videos, logo design, ad management or ongoing marketing. One recent build: a somatic coach leaving Kajabi had the homepage and About page rebuilt and the contact form connected. Another: a business mentor for beauty professionals got a 12-week mentorship sales page, a free start-up-guide funnel and rewritten follow-up emails. More in our write-up of the white-glove service.

To start: open a free trial, request a white-glove build of your site or first program, and have your clients, programs and content imported during onboarding. There is also a dedicated Thinkific alternative page with a side-by-side summary.
2. Kajabi: the marketing-heavy course platform
Kajabi is the closest like-for-like upgrade from Thinkific for coaches whose business is mostly content: courses, a community, a website, funnels and email in one product. It suits a coach who sells to an audience more than one who manages individual clients.

Where Kajabi shines
Funnels, email and the website are native, so a launch can be built without bolting on a separate marketing tool. Higher plans add AI credits (500 on Growth, 1,000 on Pro), more products and more admin users. Kajabi shows 3.4 on Trustpilot from 2,347 reviews.
Plans as listed in October 2026
- Basic: $179/month ($143/month annual), 5 products, 2,500 contacts, 1 community, 0 AI credits
- Growth: $249/month ($199/month annual), 50 products, 25,000 contacts, 500 AI credits
- Pro: $499/month ($399/month annual), unlimited products, 100,000 contacts, 3 communities
Kajabi Payments in the US runs 2.9% + $0.30 on Basic down to 2.7% + $0.30 on Pro. Using another provider (other than PayPal) adds a Kajabi fee of 2%, 1% or 0.5% depending on the plan. The standard trial is 14 days.
What coaches miss on Kajabi
There is no habit tracking and no daily client check-in. Coaching is delivered as products and communities, not per-client plans, so the work between calls still lives somewhere else. Basic caps you at 5 products and 2,500 contacts, which a growing coach reaches quickly. Our Kajabi alternatives guide covers these limits in detail.
Pick it over Coachful if your revenue comes mainly from courses and digital products sold to a large email list, and 1:1 client work is a small side offer you are happy to run with separate tools.
3. LearnWorlds: for coaches whose course is the core product
LearnWorlds is a learning management system with a website builder, funnels, SCORM support and interactive video. If your Thinkific course is genuinely the centre of your business and you want a more capable teaching experience, it is the strongest pure-course option here.

Built for teaching depth
Interactive video, SCORM packages (20 on Pro Trainer), page funnels and mass email sit alongside the course engine. The Learning Center plan adds up to 10 client groups and 25 admins, which helps if you sell to companies. LearnWorlds shows 4.8 on Trustpilot from 423 reviews.
Pricing and fees in October 2026
Starter is $29/month ($24 annual) with 1,000 active learners a month and a $5 fee per paid enrollment. Pro Trainer is $99/month ($79 annual) with 2,000 active learners and no LearnWorlds fee. Learning Center is $299/month ($249 annual). Corporate is custom. Stripe or PayPal fees of 2.9% + $0.30 apply on top. The free trial runs 30 days, and LearnWorlds says no credit card is required.
Gaps for 1:1 work
LearnWorlds is not built for 1:1 client management, habits or check-ins. Active-learner caps apply per month on self-serve plans, and a branded mobile app is a separately priced add-on. On Starter, the per-enrollment fee adds up fast if you sell a lot of low-priced products.
Pick it over Coachful if you design courses for corporate training or need SCORM and interactive video, and your coaching is a small add-on to a learning business.
4. Podia: the simple storefront with coaching sessions
Podia is a straightforward storefront where you can sell courses, downloads, webinars, coaching sessions and community access. Of the course tools, it is the friendliest for a solo coach who wants less complexity than Thinkific.

Why solo coaches like it
Coaching sessions are a product type, so you can sell a call next to a course without leaving the platform. Setup is light, the 14-day trial needs no credit card or plan selection, and Shaker and Earthquaker charge no Podia fee on sales. Podia has 4.1 on Trustpilot from 153 reviews.
What each tier costs
- Mover: $49/month ($42 annual), 50 products, 100 email subscribers included, 5% Podia fee
- Shaker: $99/month ($84 annual), 150 products, 500 email subscribers, 0% fee
- Earthquaker: $179/month ($150 annual), unlimited products, 1,000 email subscribers, 0% fee
Limits to plan around
The email subscriber allowances are small: even the top tier includes 1,000. Our earlier profile found no mobile app and no native video calls. There are no client habits, check-ins or per-client plans, so Podia sells the session but does not carry what happens after it.
Pick it over Coachful if you sell a handful of digital products plus the odd paid call, have a small list, and value a very simple storefront above program delivery.
5. Mighty Networks: when community is the program
Mighty Networks combines community, courses and live events, with member apps carrying the Mighty brand. It fits coaches whose offer is a membership where members learn from each other as much as from the coach.

The community advantage
Livestreaming is built in (20 hours a month for up to 100 attendees on Launch), along with courses and events in the same space. The 14-day trial requires no credit card and includes Growth plan features. Mighty Networks shows 3.3 on Trustpilot from 219 reviews.
Listed prices
Launch is $95/month ($79 annual) with 3 hosts and a 2% platform fee. Scale is $215/month ($179 annual) with a 1% fee. Growth is $354/month on annual billing with a 0.5% fee. Mighty Pro is custom-priced. Stripe processing is added to every tier.
Trade-offs for coaches
There is no 1:1 scheduling, invoicing or contracts, and no per-client habits, check-ins or private coaching plans. Your own branded apps are only on the custom-priced Mighty Pro. If community is the main thing you need, our Circle alternatives and Skool alternatives roundups compare more options, and Coachful's group coaching features cover cohorts inside programs.
Pick it over Coachful if you run a large paid community where peer discussion and livestreams are the product, and private 1:1 coaching is not part of the offer.
6. Teachable: Thinkific's closest twin
Teachable is a course and digital-product platform with student mobile apps. Moving here from Thinkific changes the price and the app situation more than it changes how you coach.

Good fit for course sellers
Students get mobile apps, video storage goes up to 1TB, and Builder and Growth plans take no platform fee. The plan cards show a 7-day trial plus a 30-day guarantee. Teachable has 3.3 on Trustpilot from 1,110 reviews.
Price check, October 2026
Starter is $39/month ($29 annual) for 5 products, with a 7.5% platform fee. Builder is $89/month ($69 annual) for 10 products. Growth is $189/month ($139 annual) for 50 products and 5 admins. Teachable Payments processing is 2.9% + 30¢ for US cards and 3.9% + 30¢ internationally, with a $15 chargeback fee.
Where it stops for coaches
Teachable has no native scheduling or calendar sync; coaching calls rely on Calendly and Zoom according to our earlier profile. There are no client habits, daily check-ins or per-client plans. The 7.5% fee on Starter is steep for anyone selling a higher-priced coaching package.
Pick it over Coachful if you want to stay a course business, need a student app included, and are leaving Thinkific mainly over price or branding.
7. Systeme.io: the budget all-in-one
Systeme.io is a low-cost marketing suite with funnels, email, courses, community, a blog and an affiliate program. It is the cheapest way to replace Thinkific's checkout and course layer.

The budget case
The Free plan never expires and needs no credit card: 2,000 contacts, 3 funnels, 1 course and 500 students. Every plan has 0% transaction fees. Systeme.io shows 4.9 on Trustpilot from 8,696 reviews.
Paid tiers
Startup is $17/month (5,000 contacts, 10 funnels, 5 courses). Webinar is $47/month (10,000 contacts, 50 funnels, 20 courses). Unlimited is $97/month with unlimited contacts, funnels and courses.
What you would add yourself
Our earlier profile found no native 1:1 scheduling with client records, habits or check-ins, and the community and course features are basic, with no branded mobile app. You would still need a scheduler, an e-signature tool and a way to track clients between calls. See our funnel tool comparison for more budget marketing options.
Pick it over Coachful if you are just starting, your budget is close to zero, and you mainly need a funnel and an email list before you have paying clients.
Which features does each Thinkific alternative include?
Only Coachful covers booking, agreements and between-session check-ins alongside courses; every course-first tool needs at least two extra tools for 1:1 work. "Not listed" means the vendor's documentation we reviewed did not mention it.
| Tool | 1:1 booking with calendar sync | Agreements with e-signature | Habits and check-ins | Courses | Community | Funnels and email | Platform fee on sales |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes | 0% |
| Thinkific | Partial (coaching products, external booking) | Not listed | No | Yes | Yes | Not listed | 0% with Thinkific Payments |
| Kajabi | Not listed | Not listed | No | Yes | Yes | Yes | 0% to 2% by processor and plan |
| LearnWorlds | No | Not listed | No | Yes | Not listed | Yes | $5 per enrollment on Starter |
| Podia | Partial (session products) | Not listed | No | Yes | Yes | Partial (small email caps) | 5% on Mover, else 0% |
| Mighty Networks | No | No | No | Yes | Yes | Not listed | 0.5% to 2% |
| Teachable | No | Not listed | No | Yes | Not listed | Not listed | 7.5% on Starter, else 0% |
| Systeme.io | No | Not listed | No | Yes (basic) | Yes (basic) | Yes | 0% |
What will each option cost at 5, 15 and 40 clients?
Course platforms price by product, contacts or admins rather than clients, so their monthly bill barely moves as you grow, but you pay separately for booking, agreements and check-ins. The table uses each tool's lowest plan that avoids a heavy sales fee, at monthly list prices before payment processing.

| Tool and plan | 5 clients | 15 clients | 40 clients | Still needed separately |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful | Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients | Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients | Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients | Nothing for the journey described above |
| Thinkific Start | $109 | $109 | $109 | Scheduler, e-signature, check-ins; app is $199/mo extra |
| Kajabi Basic | $179 | $179 | $179 | Scheduler, e-signature, check-ins |
| LearnWorlds Pro Trainer | $99 | $99 | $99 | Scheduler, e-signature, client tracking |
| Podia Shaker | $99 | $99 | $99 | E-signature, check-ins, video calls |
| Mighty Networks Launch | $95 + 2% | $95 + 2% | $95 + 2% | Scheduler, invoicing, contracts, check-ins |
| Teachable Builder | $89 | $89 | $89 | Scheduler, e-signature, check-ins |
| Systeme.io Startup | $17 | $17 | $17 | Scheduler, e-signature, client tracking |
Two things move these numbers in practice. First, the "still needed" column is real money: each extra subscription for booking, signatures or habit tracking adds to the course plan, and your clients juggle more logins. Second, Thinkific's prices rose about 10% on August 13, 2026 (Start went from $99 to $109 and Grow from $199 to $219), and Thinkific charges an extra gateway fee if you use Stripe or PayPal instead of Thinkific Payments. Our Thinkific pricing post breaks that down.
How do you set up a Thinkific-style program in Coachful, step by step?
You rebuild your course as one layer of a program, then add booking, an agreement and check-ins around it. Using the 15-client example coach from earlier, who sells an 8-week group program built on a self-paced course, the setup looks like this.

- Export from Thinkific first. Download your student and email list CSVs and save your lesson videos and files. During Coachful onboarding, clients, programs and content are imported for you.
- Ask for the first build. Open Create, choose We'll build it for you, and describe your program and sales page. Attach your old course outline, logo and copy. The team builds it in your account, usually within about 24 hours.
- Connect Stripe or Razorpay. Set the program as a one-time price or a payment plan, add an order bump for the self-paced course on its own, and turn on Stripe Tax if you need it.
- Rebuild the course. Recreate modules and lessons in the course builder, upload your videos, and set drip so week two opens a week after enrollment. A course template with quizzes can save time.
- Wrap it in a program. Give each of the 8 weeks a goal, two or three daily tasks and one habit, then add a morning and an evening check-in from the coaching flows library.
- Set up booking. Create a discovery call type with intake questions, and a group call with availability rules and buffers. Connect Google, Apple or Outlook so sessions sync both ways, and pick built-in video or auto-created Zoom links.
- Add the agreement. Attach your coaching agreement so it is signed before the first call and stored on the client record.
- Build the funnel and emails. Use a checkout funnel for the program and a short welcome sequence that sends the first lesson and the booking link.
What the client experiences
A new client clicks your sales page, pays in three instalments, e-signs the agreement before the first call and lands in your branded app. They see week one, today's tasks, a habit to tick and the group's community space, which was created automatically when they enrolled. They book their kickoff call through your booking page and get an email reminder (plus SMS and WhatsApp reminders once messaging is enabled). Each evening a short check-in arrives.

On your side, the client record fills up with check-ins, habits and session notes, and each client's status (thriving, active, quiet or at risk) shows who needs a message before they drift. For the full picture of courses inside programs, see Coachful's course platform for coaches.
What mistakes should coaches avoid when leaving Thinkific?
The biggest mistake is replacing Thinkific with another course platform and keeping the same patchwork of side tools. Watch for these too.
- Switching before you export. Pull your student list, email list and course files out first. Course content on Thinkific is downloaded manually, so give yourself time.
- Comparing plan prices only. A cheap course plan plus a scheduler, an e-signature tool and a habit app can cost more than one platform, and it costs your clients patience too.
- Ignoring sales fees on entry plans. Teachable Starter (7.5%), Podia Mover (5%), LearnWorlds Starter ($5 per paid enrollment) and Mighty Networks Launch (2%) all take a cut that grows with a coaching package price.
- Paying for a branded app you do not need. Thinkific's app is $199 a month extra. Decide whether your clients need their own app listing or just a branded experience.
- Cutting over mid-cohort. Finish the current group on the old platform and start the next one on the new platform, so nobody loses access halfway through.
- Forgetting scope. If you coach on health topics, put your scope and referral line into the new agreement before the first client signs it.
Which Thinkific alternative should coaches choose?
Choose Coachful if you coach clients through programs with calls, check-ins and courses, because it is the only option here that carries the whole journey behind one login. Choose a course platform only if courses are the business and coaching is a side offer.
More specifically: Kajabi suits content businesses with large lists, LearnWorlds suits coaches who teach at depth or sell to companies, Podia suits a small, simple storefront, Mighty Networks suits a community-first membership, Teachable suits course sellers who want a student app included, and Systeme.io suits a starting budget. For everyone running 1:1 and group coaching, the total cost and the client experience point the same way. You can also see how Coachful stacks up across categories on our comparison page, or browse the course platforms for life coaches.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best Thinkific alternative for coaches?
For coaches who run programs with 1:1 or group calls, Coachful is our pick because booking, agreements, payments, courses, habits and check-ins share one login. For coaches who mainly sell self-paced courses, Kajabi or LearnWorlds are closer to Thinkific. We make Coachful, so compare the feature table above against your own client journey.
Does Thinkific have 1:1 scheduling for coaching?
Thinkific lists coaching and webinar products and live cohorts with Zoom. According to our earlier profile, 1:1 booking relies on external booking links rather than a built-in scheduler with calendar sync. Check Thinkific's current documentation if this is a deciding factor.
What is a cheaper alternative to Thinkific?
Systeme.io has a plan that never expires with no credit card and paid plans from $17 a month, as listed in October 2026. LearnWorlds Starter is $29 a month plus $5 per paid enrollment. Both are cheaper on paper, but neither handles 1:1 booking with client records, so add the cost of separate tools.
Can I move my Thinkific courses to Coachful?
Yes. Export your students and email list from Thinkific and download your course files, then rebuild modules and lessons in Coachful's course builder. Clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding, and the white-glove team can draft the course outline and written material.
What is Coachful's free white-glove service?
On every plan, you can ask the Coachful team to build a website, funnel, sales page, program, course outline, email sequence or form inside your own account, usually within about 24 hours. You describe what you want and attach up to 8 links and 10 files. It does not include recording videos, logo design, ad management or ongoing marketing.
Is Coachful HIPAA-compliant?
No. Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and does not sign a BAA, so it is not meant for clinical record-keeping or insurance billing. Health coaches using it should keep to a coaching scope and refer clients to licensed clinicians when medical issues come up.
Does Coachful charge a transaction fee?
Coachful has charged a 0% platform fee since August 2026. You connect your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account and pay only their processing fees. PayPal is not supported.
Which Thinkific alternative is best for a coaching community?
Mighty Networks is built around community, courses and livestreams, and suits a membership where peer discussion is the product. If you also coach clients privately, Coachful creates a cohort group automatically when someone enrolls in a program and keeps their 1:1 work in the same app.
Do my clients need a branded mobile app?
Not always. Thinkific's branded app is a $199 a month add-on, and Mighty Networks offers its own branded apps only on custom-priced plans. Coachful gives clients your branding inside the Coachful app, included in your Coachful membership, which covers most coaches who do not need their own App Store listing.
How long does it take to switch from Thinkific?
It depends on how many courses you have and whether you film anything new. As an example, a coach with one course and one group program can usually plan the move around their next cohort start, using a white-glove build for the sales page and program so the main work left is uploading videos.
