Top 12 Profi Alternatives in 2026

If you are searching for Profi alternatives, the first thing to know is that Profi is no longer an option. Its official notice said the company was being acquired and the platform was being wound down, with existing customers keeping full access through December 31, 2025. As of October 27, 2026, profi.io does not load at all. So the real question is not "which tool beats Profi" but "which tool can take over everything Profi did for my practice: scheduling, video sessions, packages, programs, payments, forms, e-signatures and a client portal, without making me stitch five apps together?"
Our pick is Coachful, because it covers the whole client journey Profi handled under one login, adds between-session delivery (habits, check-ins, goals) that Profi users often had to run elsewhere, and comes with a free white-glove build so you are not rebuilding your practice alone. We make Coachful, so weigh that. Below you will find a five-question checklist to find your own answer, a table that maps your answers to a pick, honest reviews of 12 tools, costs at 5, 15 and 40 clients, and the switching traps to avoid.
What happened to Profi, and what do former users need now?
Profi was a coaching and care-delivery platform for solo providers up to multi-provider businesses. It bundled scheduling, built-in video, packages, programs and courses, payments, forms, e-signatures and a client portal. Its archived homepage from June 2026 states that the platform was "winding down the current version" and that customers would have access through December 31, 2025. The notice does not name the acquirer, and it pointed transition questions to Profi's support address.
That leaves two groups looking for a replacement. The first are former customers who exported what they could and have been patching things together since January. The second are coaches who found Profi recommended in an older article or forum thread and discovered the site is down. Both need roughly the same thing: one place where a client can book, pay, sign, attend and keep doing the work between sessions.
Profi's archived pricing page from May 2026 still listed a Solo plan at $49 a month for one provider and team tiers billed annually. Those prices are historical only. Nobody can buy Profi today, so the comparisons below use the alternatives' own current prices as listed in October 2026.
One scope note before you choose. Profi served "care delivery" as well as coaching, so some former users are therapists, dietitians or other licensed clinicians. Coaching is not treatment. If you diagnose, treat or bill insurance, you are probably a covered entity under HIPAA (see the HHS guide to covered entities), and your clinical records belong in a clinical system that signs a business associate agreement. Coachful is not HIPAA-certified, and neither are most coaching tools on this list. If a client discloses symptoms that need medical or mental-health care, refer them to a qualified professional.
Which five questions decide your Profi replacement?
Answer these five questions about your practice before you open a single trial. They narrow 12 tools to two or three in about five minutes.
- Do clients do work between sessions? If your programs include daily habits, weekly goals or check-ins, you need a tool built for between-session delivery, not just a calendar and invoice.
- How many active clients will you have in 12 months? Several tools on this list price by active client. A cap that looks cheap at 5 clients can cost three times more at 40.
- Do you sell group programs or courses? Profi let you package programs and courses. If you run cohorts, you need groups, a community or a course player, not only 1:1 booking.
- Do you need a website and funnels, or do you already have them? Some tools include a site builder and email; others assume you keep Squarespace and a separate email tool.
- Are you clinical, or coaching only? Clinicians who need charting and a BAA should look at a practice-management system. Coaches who need a branded client experience should not pay for clinical features they never use.
Which tool fits your answers?
Match your answers from the checklist to the row that describes you. Most coaches who used Profi for packages and programs will land on the first row.
| Pick | Choose it if your answers look like this | Watch out for |
|---|---|---|
| Coachful | Clients work between sessions; you sell programs, groups or courses; you want booking, payments, contracts, website and email in one login | Not for clinical records or insurance billing; no PayPal |
| Practice Better | You are a clinician or nutrition practitioner who needs charting and telehealth | Branding, evergreen programs and SMS start on Plus |
| AttractWell | Marketing comes first: you want site, funnels, texting and email with booking attached | Low plans cap courses, booking links and call packages |
| Coach Recap | Solo, 1:1 only, under 20 clients, and you want simple session notes | Courses, community and funnels not listed |
| Quenza | Worksheets and activities matter more than payments | No client payments or invoicing yet |
| Paperbell | You want the simplest possible booking, packages and contracts for 1:1 work | No courses, community, habits or goal tracking |
| Kajabi | Your business is mainly courses and community, with little 1:1 work | No habits or daily client check-ins; high entry price |
How did we rank these Profi alternatives?
We pictured a typical former Profi user: a solo coach with 15 active 1:1 clients and one eight-week group program of about ten people, who sells packages, sends an agreement before the first call and wants clients to log habits and check in between sessions. We then asked how much of that each tool covers, what it costs, and how much setup it takes.
Ranking criteria: one login for the whole client journey, between-session delivery, total stack cost at 15 clients, and setup effort (including whether someone will build it for you).
We did not run hands-on tests of each product. Features and prices below come from each vendor's own pages as listed in October 2026, and from what public reviewers report. Trustpilot scores are as seen on October 25 to 27, 2026.
| Rank and tool | Best for | Starting price (as listed, October 2026) | Main gap |
|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful (#1) | Coaches who deliver programs, not just sessions | Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients | Not HIPAA-certified; no PayPal |
| AttractWell (#2) | Marketing-led coaches who want site, email and texting | $69/mo (first month $1) | Booking and courses capped on low plans |
| Coaches Console (#3) | Established coaches wanting one long-standing back office | $197/mo | Highest entry price; no free trial |
| Coach Recap (#4) | Solo 1:1 coaches with simple needs | $0 (3 active clients) | No courses or community |
| Quenza (#5) | Worksheet and activity-based coaching | $25/mo | No payments or scheduling |
| Practice Better (#6) | Clinical and nutrition practices | $0 (3 clients) | No website or funnels |
| CoachAccountable (#7) | Accountability-heavy 1:1 coaching | $20/mo (2 active clients) | Per-client pricing climbs fast |
| Simply.Coach (#8) | Coaches with sponsors and contracts | $9/mo (3 coachees) | Caps on every tier below Leap |
| Paperbell (#9) | Simple 1:1 packages | $97/mo | No courses, community or habits |
| Merkora (#10) | New coaches selling sessions and live events | $0 until your first paid sale | New product with little public track record |
| Kajabi (#11) | Course and community businesses | $179/mo | Little per-client coaching |
| HoneyBook (#12) | Proposal-and-invoice service businesses | $29/mo billed annually | No coaching delivery at all |
1. Coachful: is it the closest all-in-one replacement for Profi?
Yes, for coaches. Coachful covers every part of Profi's workflow that a coach uses (booking, video links, packages, programs, courses, payments, agreements with e-signature, forms and a client portal) and adds the between-session layer that keeps clients moving. It is a coaching platform built for coaches who deliver programs, solo coaches growing into a small team, and anyone replacing four to six tools. The company is based in Tallinn, Estonia, and holds a Trustpilot score of 4.5 from 21 reviews.

What carries over from Profi on day one
Booking pages handle availability rules, buffers, minimum notice and time-zone detection, with two-way Google, Apple/iCloud and Outlook calendar sync. Each session can use built-in video or auto-created Zoom, Meet or Teams links. Reminders go out by email, plus SMS 24 hours before and WhatsApp one hour before once messaging is enabled. You can charge per session, sell session credits and add intake questions to the booking form. For a multi-coach practice, session types can rotate round-robin or go to the least-busy coach, and team plans add coach seats with per-coach availability and staff permissions.
Payments run through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account: one-time, subscriptions, payment plans, order bumps, coupons, refunds, Apple Pay and Google Pay, and Stripe Tax. Every transaction gets an invoice, and you can create manual invoices too. Since August 2026, Coachful charges a 0% platform fee, so you only pay Stripe or Razorpay processing. Coaching agreements with e-signature go out before the first call and are stored on the client record.

What Profi users often had to run elsewhere
Multi-week programs come with weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins, goals with progress bars and streaks. The client record pulls it together: goals, check-ins, habits, notes, intake answers, tags, payments, sessions and an AI briefing per client, with a status of thriving, active, quiet or at risk. That status is what lets you notice a client going quiet in week three instead of at renewal.

Clients get one branded home and app (your branding, inside the Coachful app) where they find their next session, programs, progress and documents. Courses with modules, drip and completion tracking, downloads, videos and AI tools are delivered into the same place. For groups, a community feed, group chat, direct messages and video events are included, and cohort groups are created automatically when someone enrolls in a program. See group coaching software for how that works.

Here is a short walkthrough of how a client moves from booking to program in Coachful:
Marketing, AI and credential tracking
Profi did not try to be your website. Coachful includes a section-based website builder with blog, custom domain, SEO settings and 30 designed homepage templates, plus booking, application, lead-magnet and checkout funnels with pixel and UTM tracking, and email lists, broadcasts and multi-step sequences. Michelle, the built-in AI assistant, works from your live practice data: she drafts emails, builds programs, summarizes recorded sessions and briefs you before each call. Questions and planning are included in your Coachful membership; confirmed builds use AI credits. If you are working toward an ICF credential, ICF hour tracking counts your coaching hours and distinct clients against ACC, PCC and MCC thresholds and exports a client coaching log.
Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. From Create, choose "We'll build it for you" and describe what you need: a website, a funnel, an offer page, a program, a course outline, an email sequence, a form or an automation. Attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files such as your old Profi program outlines, logos and copy. The Coachful team builds it inside your own account, usually within about 24 hours. Nothing is invented: no fake credentials, testimonials or prices, and gaps are left for you to fill. One recent example: a leadership coach with a Squarespace renewal days away got one clean homepage with a repeated "talk with me" button. Recording videos, logo design and ad management are not included. Read more in how the free white-glove service works.

Limits to know before you switch
Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and does not sign a BAA, so it is not for clinical record-keeping or insurance billing. There is no PayPal and no permanent free plan. The client app ships under the Coachful listing with your branding, not under your own App Store account. There is no Garmin, Fitbit, Whoop or Oura sync, and no deal board or Salesforce or HubSpot integration for large sales teams.
Price: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients. Plans are flat monthly; lower plans cap the number of clients, Pro is unlimited, and monthly plans cancel in one click. There is a free trial. Clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding.
2. AttractWell: should a marketing-first coach choose it?
AttractWell suits coaches who think of their business as a marketing engine first and a client practice second. It combines website, funnels, blog, CRM, email and texting, booking, contracts, invoicing and a store, aimed at coaches, course creators, consultants, authors and speakers.

What former Profi users get. Session packages with usage tracking (AttractWell calls them call packages), contracts and invoicing replace Profi's package and payment flow. Courses are called "vaults", and there is a Facebook-style community with posts, comments and scheduled posts, plus memberships with recurring payments and drip content.
Price as listed in October 2026. Starter $69/mo (500 contacts, 2 booking links, 1 vault, no call packages), Basic $99/mo (1,000 contacts, 10 booking links, 5 call packages, 3 vaults), Premium $129/mo (unlimited booking links and call packages), Pro $179/mo, Diamond $239/mo and Team $600/mo. The first month is $1 on every plan, and AttractWell charges a 0% transaction fee.
Where it falls short. The plan you need depends on caps that are easy to miss: a Profi user selling packages needs at least Basic, and unlimited vaults and classes cost an extra $17 a month. Habit tracking and daily client check-ins are not among its listed features, so between-session work leans on courses and community. Trustpilot shows 4.6 from 21 reviews.
Pick it over Coachful if SMS marketing and a large contact list matter more to you than habits, check-ins and per-client program tracking.
3. Coaches Console: is the long-standing back office worth its price?
Coaches Console has been a coach business system for a long time, and it shows in both directions: broad coverage, and an interface that reviewers describe as dated. It combines CRM, calendar, website, client portal, email and invoicing, with courses on the higher plan.

For a Profi refugee, the appeal is that scheduling, the client portal and billing live in one system built specifically for coaches, with a website and email included. That covers much of what Profi did.
Pricing as listed in October 2026: Core Console System at $197/mo ($166.42/mo billed annually) for a single coach account, and Total Console System at $297/mo ($249.75/mo billed annually), which adds unlimited products and courses. Client limits are not specified on the pricing page.
The trade-off is cost and commitment. It has the highest entry price in the coaching-admin group, there is no free trial (billing details are required at signup), and the safety net is a 30-day money-back guarantee instead. Coaches who run programs with habits and daily check-ins will not find those described on its pages.
Pick it over Coachful if you prefer a long-established vendor and are comfortable paying more for a familiar, admin-centered system.
4. Coach Recap: enough for a solo 1:1 practice?
Coach Recap is built for solo coaches, and its own site says it is not aimed at agencies or enterprises. That focus makes it a light, low-cost fit for the subset of Profi users who only ran 1:1 sessions.

Coverage that maps to Profi:
- Client profiles with session history, session notes, goals and action items, with full-text search.
- A booking page with buffers and notice rules, two-way Google Calendar and Outlook sync, and email reminders at 24 hours, 1 hour and 15 minutes.
- Programs sold as session packs or monthly subscriptions through Stripe, with sessions used versus remaining tracked.
- Intake forms, check-ins, contracts, private chat and resource sharing.
As listed in October 2026, Starter is free for up to 3 active clients (active means a session or booking in the last 90 days), Professional is $29/mo for up to 20, and Business is $79/mo for unlimited clients. Coach Recap takes no cut of client payments beyond Stripe's processing fees. Note that its pricing page can display euro prices depending on where you view it.
What you give up: there are no courses, community or funnels described, so group programs and anything you sold as a course under Profi need another home. It also has no public review profile we could cite, so weigh that when you trust it with client history.
Pick it over Coachful if you see fewer than 20 clients one-to-one, never run groups, and want the lowest monthly bill.
5. Quenza: the right fit for worksheet-driven coaching?
Quenza is a client-engagement tool for coaches and therapists: activities, worksheets, programs, chat and a client app. If what you valued in Profi was its forms and programs rather than its booking and billing, Quenza does that part well. Our Quenza alternatives guide covers it in more depth.

Plans as listed in October 2026: Spark $25/mo for 10 clients, Growth $50/mo for 250, Impact $125/mo for 400, Collective $160/mo for up to 3 professionals and 500 clients, and a custom Beyond tier. Annual billing cuts each roughly 20%. There is a 30-day free trial with no card required.
The gap is large for a Profi replacement. Quenza has no client payment processing today; invoicing and digital products are marked as planned. Older profiles also note no scheduling or video calls. So a former Profi user would need Quenza plus a booking tool plus a payment tool, which brings back exactly the patchwork Profi was meant to remove. Trustpilot shows 4.3 from 8 reviews.
Pick it over Coachful if you already have booking and payments sorted and only need a deep library of worksheets and activities.
6. Practice Better: best for clinical and nutrition practices?
Practice Better is practice-management software for wellness and nutrition practitioners: scheduling, telehealth, charting, billing, programs and a client portal. For the clinicians in Profi's former customer base, it is the most natural landing spot on this list, because charting is part of the product. If HIPAA questions drive your choice, our SimplePractice alternatives roundup discusses the clinical-versus-coaching line further.

Tiers as listed in October 2026:
- Sprout: $0/mo for 3 clients.
- Starter: $35/mo ($25 billed annually) for 10 clients.
- Professional: $69/mo ($59 annually) for 300 clients.
- Plus: $99/mo ($89 annually) for unlimited clients and 3 admins.
- Team: $155/mo ($145 annually) for 2 practitioners, up to 200 at $50 each.
Trials run 30 days on Team and 14 days on other paid plans. Payments are powered by Stripe; the rate is not listed.
Downsides for a coach: evergreen programs, portal branding, a custom URL and SMS only start on Plus, so the real price for a branded experience is $99 a month. There is no website builder or funnel pages, and below Team you get one practitioner per account. Trustpilot shows 3.8 from 87 reviews.
Pick it over Coachful if you chart clinical notes, need telehealth inside a clinical system, or work as a licensed nutrition professional.
7. CoachAccountable: how far does per-client pricing stretch?
CoachAccountable is a coaching back office centered on accountability: sessions, action plans, metrics, worksheets, courses, invoicing and agreements. Reviewers rate it highly (Trustpilot 4.8 from 47 reviews), and it covers much of Profi's 1:1 workflow.

The catch is the pricing model. As listed in October 2026, it charges by active client: Starter $20/mo for 2, Level 1 $40/mo for 5, Level 2 $70/mo for 10, Level 3 $120/mo for 20, Level 4 $250/mo for 50 and Level 5 $400/mo for 100. A 30-day trial needs no card. For our scenario coach with 15 private clients plus a group of 10, those 25 active clients land on Level 4 at $250 a month.
Other limits from older profiles: no native mobile app, no landing pages, website or marketing automation, and by its own statement it is not HIPAA compliant. For a deeper comparison see CoachAccountable alternatives.
Pick it over Coachful if you coach a small number of high-touch clients on metrics and action plans and do not need a website or community.
8. Simply.Coach: built for contracts and sponsors?
Simply.Coach is a coaching practice platform with contracts, programs, sessions, booking pages and a client portal, plus business tiers that add program managers and sponsors. Executive and corporate coaches who used Profi's multi-provider setup may find the sponsor model useful.

Solo pricing as listed in October 2026: Starter $9/mo (3 coachees, 1 contract, 1 program), Essentials $29/mo (7 coachees, 3 contracts, 3 programs), Growth $49/mo (30 coachees, 10 contracts and programs) and Leap $69/mo (unlimited). Business tiers are per active coach: CoCreate $79/mo with 10 clients per coach, and Surge $159/mo with 25 clients per coach, 2 program managers and 5 sponsors. The trial is 14 days with no card.
Watch the caps. Every solo tier below Leap limits clients, contracts and programs, so growth forces upgrades. Mid-period cancellations are not refunded, and automated invoices were marked "Coming Soon" on the solo pricing page. No website or funnel builder is listed.
Pick it over Coachful if you coach inside organizations and need sponsor and program-manager roles more than a branded client community.
9. Paperbell: the simplest booking-and-package swap?
Paperbell is all-in-one admin for solo coaches: booking, packages, payments, contracts, a client portal and a simple website, all for one price. Of everything here, it is the most direct swap for someone who only used Profi to sell 1:1 packages.

As listed in October 2026, there is a single plan at $97/mo ($80.83/mo billed annually) with unlimited clients, sessions, files, packages and traffic. It charges no additional transaction fees; Stripe or PayPal processing applies. The help center describes a 7-day trial with the public site offline and client messages off, and there is a 30-day money-back guarantee.
Limits: no courses, community, goal or habit tracking, and no native mobile app (clients use a mobile browser). If you ran Profi programs with ongoing client work, those parts have nowhere to go. Trustpilot shows 3.5 from 14 reviews. More options in our Paperbell alternatives for life coaches.
Pick it over Coachful if you want PayPal checkout and a single price for purely 1:1 work with no programs or groups.
10. Merkora: a fresh option for new coaches?
Merkora is a newer platform for coaches, therapists, consultants and other independent experts. You get one branded public page, booking with confirmations and reminders, intake forms, a waitlist and session packages where clients see their remaining balance. It also hosts video courses, digital downloads and lead magnets, and offers built-in live streaming for events.

Its pricing is unusual. As listed in October 2026, the Free plan stays free only until your first paid sale; after that you have 14 days to move to Professional or new bookings and sales pause. Professional is $79/mo, with a founding-member rate of $29/mo for a limited number of spots, locked for 12 months and then $39/mo. Merkora takes a 0% platform fee; Stripe processing applies.
Two cautions. The product appears new, with little public track record, which matters when you are moving client history after one platform already shut down. And there is no described program delivery with habits or check-ins, so ongoing client work needs another tool.
Pick it over Coachful if you are just starting, sell sessions and live events, and can lock in the founder rate.
11. Kajabi: good for Profi users whose business was mostly courses?
Kajabi is a course, community, website, funnel and email platform for knowledge businesses. If most of your Profi revenue came from courses and group content rather than 1:1 sessions, it is a capable home. Our Kajabi alternatives for life coaches explains the trade-offs.

Prices as listed in October 2026: Basic $179/mo ($143 annually) for 5 products and 2,500 contacts with 0 AI credits, Growth $249/mo ($199 annually), and Pro $499/mo ($399 annually). Kajabi Payments in the US costs 2.7% to 2.9% plus $0.30 per transaction; using another provider (except PayPal) adds a 0.5% to 2% Kajabi fee. The standard trial is 14 days.
For coaching specifically, Kajabi treats clients as product buyers and community members. There is no habit tracking, no daily client check-ins and no per-client plan, so the individual side of a Profi practice has no direct equivalent. Trustpilot shows 3.4 from 2,347 reviews.
Pick it over Coachful if you sell courses to hundreds of students and coaching is a small add-on.
12. HoneyBook: worth it for coaches who mainly send proposals?
HoneyBook is a client-management CRM for service businesses: proposals, contracts, invoices, a scheduler and a client portal. A coach who used Profi mostly for paperwork and payment collection might find the flow familiar.

As listed in October 2026, Starter is $29/mo billed annually with 2 lead forms, Essentials $59/mo ($49 annually) for up to 2 team members, and Premium $129/mo ($109 annually). The trial is 30 days with no card. HoneyBook is the payment processor; its page shows card rates of both 2.7% plus 10 cents and 2.9% plus 25 cents (the page conflicts), and ACH at 1.5%. The scheduler and automations are not on Starter.
It has no coaching delivery at all: no programs, courses, habits, check-ins or community. Payments must run through HoneyBook's own processing. Trustpilot shows 4.1 from 748 reviews.
Pick it over Coachful if you run a consulting business built on proposals and contracts and rarely deliver ongoing coaching programs.
What will each Profi alternative cost at 5, 15 and 40 clients?
The monthly software cost depends heavily on client count. These figures use monthly billing as listed in October 2026 and the cheapest plan that covers the client count plus the features a Profi user needs (packages, booking and a client portal). They exclude payment processing.
| Tool | 5 clients | 15 clients | 40 clients |
|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful | Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients | Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients | Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients |
| AttractWell | $99 (Basic, for call packages) | $99 | $99 |
| Coaches Console | $197 | $197 | $197 |
| Coach Recap | $29 | $29 | $79 |
| Quenza | $25 plus separate booking and payments | $50 plus separate tools | $50 plus separate tools |
| Practice Better | $35 | $69 | $69 ($99 for branding) |
| CoachAccountable | $40 | $120 | $250 |
| Simply.Coach | $29 | $49 | $69 |
| Paperbell | $97 | $97 | $97 |
| Merkora | $79 ($29 founder rate) | $79 | $79 |
| Kajabi | $179 | $179 | $179 |
| HoneyBook | $59 (scheduler needs Essentials) | $59 | $59 |
Remember the stack cost. A tool that lacks a website, email or courses forces you to keep paying for those separately. For Coachful, all of those are included in your Coachful membership (current plans: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients), and processing is your Stripe or Razorpay rate only.
How would you rebuild a Profi practice in Coachful, step by step?
Here is how our scenario coach (15 private clients, one eight-week group of ten) would set things up. Times vary; the white-glove team can do most of steps 1 to 4 for you.

- Import clients and content. Send whatever you exported from Profi (client list, program outlines, forms). Clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding.
- Recreate packages as offers. Set each 1:1 package as a paid offer with session credits, a payment plan if you used one, and coupons for returning clients.
- Attach your agreement. Upload your coaching agreement so it goes out for e-signature before the first call.
- Build the eight-week program. Add weekly goals, daily tasks and two or three habits, then switch on morning and evening check-ins. Enrollment creates the cohort group automatically.
- Connect your calendar and video. Sync Google, Apple or Outlook, choose built-in video or Zoom, Meet or Teams, and set buffers and minimum notice.
- Publish a booking page or funnel. Use a template or ask for a white-glove build so new prospects land on a consultation page.
What the client experiences: they book from your page, pay through your Stripe account, sign the agreement, and then open your branded home in the app. There they see their next session, this week's goals and habits, and a morning check-in prompt. Their group chat is already waiting. You see their check-in rate and status on your client dashboard, so a quiet client gets a message from you before they drift. If you are new to this layout, the coaching software overview walks through each area.
What red flags and switching costs should you watch for?
Profi's shutdown is the best argument for choosing carefully this time. Look for these warning signs before you commit.
- No clear data export. Profi's notice did not say how data could be exported. Before you move anything, confirm your next tool exports clients, notes and forms in a usable format. Coachful exports a full ZIP of roster, notes, check-ins, goals, habits, sessions and form responses, plus courses.
- Active-client pricing. CoachAccountable, Simply.Coach and Practice Better all tie price to client counts. Model your 12-month client number, not today's.
- Features gated by tier. AttractWell's call packages, Practice Better's branding and HoneyBook's scheduler all sit above the entry plan. Price the plan you will actually use.
- Payment lock-in. HoneyBook requires its own processing, and Kajabi adds a fee if you use a third-party processor other than PayPal. Owning your Stripe account keeps your payment history portable.
- Young or unproven vendors. After one shutdown, a vendor's track record matters. That does not rule out new tools, but keep your own exports current.
- Clinical scope creep. If you are clinical, do not store treatment records in a coaching tool without a BAA.
The hidden switching cost is your time: rebuilding programs, rewriting emails and re-sending agreements. That is why a done-for-you build is worth more than a small monthly difference. Compare more platforms on our comparison hub or read Coachful alternatives for a view from the other side.
Which Profi alternative should you choose?
For most coaches who used Profi for packages, programs and a client portal, Coachful is the strongest replacement: one login for booking, payments, agreements, programs with habits and check-ins, courses, community, website and email, plus a free white-glove build to get you moved. Clinicians who chart should look at Practice Better. Solo 1:1 coaches on a tight budget can start with Coach Recap or Paperbell. Course-led businesses may prefer Kajabi.
Start with the five-question checklist, price the plan at your 12-month client count, and confirm the export path before you import a single client.
Frequently asked questions about Profi alternatives
Is Profi still available?
No. Profi's official notice said the platform was being wound down as part of an acquisition, with customer access through December 31, 2025. As of October 27, 2026, profi.io does not load. Any article recommending Profi as a current option is out of date.
Who acquired Profi?
The archived notice does not name the acquirer. It directed transition questions to Profi's support email. We have not found an official statement naming the buyer, so we do not speculate.
What is the best Profi alternative for coaches?
Coachful, if you deliver programs as well as sessions. It covers booking, payments, e-signed agreements, programs with habits and check-ins, courses, community and a website in one place. Coaches who only need 1:1 booking and packages can also consider Paperbell or Coach Recap.
What is the best Profi alternative for therapists or dietitians?
A clinical practice-management tool such as Practice Better, which includes charting and telehealth. Coaching tools, Coachful included, are not designed for clinical records or insurance billing. Check whether you need a BAA under HIPAA before choosing.
Can I import my old Profi data?
That depends on what you exported before access ended. If you have client lists, program outlines or forms, Coachful imports clients, programs and content for you during onboarding. If you have nothing exported, the white-glove team can still rebuild programs and pages from your notes.
What is Coachful's free white-glove service?
It is a done-for-you build available on every plan. You describe what you need (a website, funnel, program, course outline, email sequence or form), attach up to 8 links and 10 files, and the Coachful team builds it in your account, usually within about 24 hours. It does not include recording videos, logo design or ad management.
Which Profi alternative is cheapest?
For very small practices, free tiers exist: Coach Recap is free for 3 active clients and Practice Better's Sprout plan is free for 3 clients. At 15 or more clients, flat-priced tools usually beat per-client pricing, so compare at your expected client count using the cost table above.
Does Coachful take a cut of my coaching payments?
No. Since August 2026 Coachful charges a 0% platform fee. You pay only your Stripe or Razorpay processing fees, and payments go into your own account.
Do any Profi alternatives include built-in video?
Coachful includes built-in video and can also auto-create Zoom, Meet or Teams links. Practice Better includes telehealth, and Merkora offers built-in live streaming for events. Several others rely on Zoom or another external tool.
Is there a Profi alternative for multi-coach teams?
Yes. Coachful's team plans add coach seats with per-coach availability, staff permissions and round-robin booking. Practice Better's Team plan and Simply.Coach's business tiers also support several practitioners. See Coachful for teams for details.
