Top 10 Skool Alternatives for Business Coaches in 2026

Top 10 Skool Alternatives for Business Coaches in 2026

The best skool alternatives for business coaches are the tools that keep what Skool does well (a lively group, a classroom, simple pricing) and add what a business coaching practice runs on: 1:1 sessions booked against your real calendar, a signed agreement before the first call, accountability between sessions, flexible payment options and a website you own. The deciding question is simple. Is your business mostly a community, or mostly client work that happens to include a community?

For most business coaches it is the second, and that is why Coachful is our pick: one login covers booking, agreements, payments, programs with weekly goals and check-ins, a community, courses and a branded website, so a retainer client and a mastermind member live in the same place. We make Coachful, so weigh that, and read each "Pick it over Coachful if..." line below. Nine other tools follow, each with prices as listed in October 2026.

What does a business coach need that Skool does not cover?

Skool covers the group side of a business coaching practice well; it does not cover the private client side. Skool puts a community feed, a classroom and a calendar inside one group, adds leaderboards and levels that keep members posting, and lets people find your group through Skool's own discovery. Pricing is two plans, and you can be live in an afternoon. If you run a paid community for early-stage founders, that is a real strength. Our Skool review covers it in full.

Business coaching rarely stops at the group. A typical practice mixes a few of these:

  • Discovery and strategy calls booked from a public page, with intake questions about revenue stage, team size and the bottleneck the owner wants solved.
  • Retainers and 1:1 packages (monthly or 3, 6 and 12 months), often with a signed coaching agreement that sets scope, confidentiality and cancellation terms.
  • Quarterly plans and weekly accountability: the owner commits to three priorities, reports on them each week, and the coach sees who is slipping before the next call.
  • Masterminds and cohorts with a group call rhythm, a private space per cohort and a shared resource library.
  • Productized offers such as a pricing workshop, a hiring toolkit or a self-paced course, sold from a website and an email list.

Skool's own notes list the gaps for this mix: no custom-domain website, funnels, email automation or public API; no 1:1 client records, intake forms, habits or check-ins; payments only through Skool Payments, with a per-transaction fee on both plans. Members export to CSV (name, email, join date, membership answers), while posts, DMs and course progress are not exportable, according to our September 2026 profile. Skool held a Trustpilot score of 1.6 from 54 reviews when we checked in October 2026.

Skool pricing page with the Hobby and Pro plans
Skool's pricing page in October 2026.

As listed in October 2026, Skool Hobby is $9 a month with a 10% + 30¢ fee on every transaction, and Skool Pro is $99 a month with 2.9% + 30¢ on transactions up to $899 and 3.9% + 30¢ above $900. Fees are non-refundable, and each community is a separate subscription. For a business coach that matters more than it does for a hobby group: a single $3,000 six-month engagement sold through Skool Pro carries the higher 3.9% tier. The full breakdown is in our Skool pricing guide.

Which Skool alternative fits your practice? Answer five questions

Answer these five questions about your practice before you look at feature lists. Your answers point to a short list faster than any comparison chart.

  1. Where does most of your revenue come from? (a) 1:1 retainers and packages, (b) group programs or masterminds, (c) a paid community, (d) courses and digital products.
  2. What happens between calls? (a) Clients report weekly on goals and tasks, (b) they post in a group, (c) nothing structured.
  3. Do you need a signed agreement before you start? Yes or no. Most business coaches with retainers answer yes.
  4. How do people find you? (a) Referrals and LinkedIn into a booking page, (b) your website, lead magnets and email, (c) paid ads into funnels, (d) a platform's own discovery.
  5. How many tools are you willing to run? (a) One, (b) two or three, (c) as many as it takes, plus a contractor to wire them together.

How did we choose and rank these Skool alternatives?

We ranked by four criteria, weighted for business coaching: one login for the whole client journey, delivery between sessions, total stack cost, and setup effort (including Coachful's free white-glove build). Each tool also had to replace Skool's group and classroom in some form, because few business coaches want to give up their mastermind space when they leave.

Here is the ranked list at a glance.

Paperbell, CoachAccountable and similar session-focused tools are left out here because they do not replace Skool's group space; our Paperbell alternatives for business coaches guide covers that category. For the general list across all coaching niches, see 10 Skool alternatives for coaches.

1. Coachful: why does it top the list for business coaches?

Coachful covers both halves of a business coaching practice: the private client work Skool leaves out and the group space Skool is known for. It is a coaching platform where one subscription includes booking, payments, contracts, program delivery with habits and check-ins, courses, a community, a website with funnels and email, and an AI assistant. The coach has one login; each client gets one branded app.

Booking that matches how business coaches sell. Booking pages carry availability rules, buffers, minimum notice and time-zone detection, with two-way Google, Apple/iCloud and Outlook calendar sync. Sessions get built-in video or auto-created Zoom, Meet or Teams links, plus email reminders, and SMS (24 hours before) and WhatsApp (1 hour before) once messaging is enabled. Intake questions on the booking page let you ask about revenue stage, team size and the main constraint before a discovery call. Paid sessions and session credits handle "four strategy calls a month" retainers. See the scheduling features for the details.

Agreements before the first call. Coaching agreements with e-signature go out before the first session and are stored on the client record, so scope and confidentiality terms are settled before any work starts. More on that on the coaching contracts page.

Accountability between sessions. This is the part Skool does not attempt. Multi-week programs carry weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins, goals with progress bars and streaks. For a business coach that can mean a 90-day plan with three weekly priorities, a Friday check-in asking what moved and what is blocked, and a habit like "two sales conversations a day". Each client record holds goals, check-ins, habits, notes, intake answers, tags, payments and sessions, and marks the client as thriving, active, quiet or at risk, so you can see who needs a nudge before the next call.

This short walkthrough shows how programs are built and delivered:

Masterminds without a second tool. The community feed, group chat, direct messages and video events cover what you used Skool for, and cohort groups are created automatically when someone enrolls in a program. Group calls and webinars run inside the same account. Our guide to hosting client masterminds without Skool walks through the setup, and the group coaching page lists the features.

Payments on your own account. Coachful runs payments through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account: one-time, subscriptions, payment plans, order bumps, coupons, refunds, Apple Pay and Google Pay, and Stripe Tax, with an invoice per transaction plus manual invoices. Since August 2026 there is a 0% Coachful platform fee, so only the processor's fees apply. A six-month engagement can be sold as a payment plan instead of one large charge.

A website you own. The section-based website builder includes a blog, custom domain, SEO settings, 30 designed homepage templates and an Import website option. Booking, application, lead-magnet and checkout funnels carry pixels and UTM tracking, and email lists, broadcasts and multi-step sequences cover nurture. For business coaches who sell high-ticket work, the application funnel is often the most useful piece.

Extras that suit business coaches. Michelle, the built-in AI assistant, works from your live practice data: it builds programs, drafts emails, summarizes recorded sessions and briefs you before each call. Questions and planning are included in the membership; confirmed builds and changes use AI credits. If you are working toward an ICF credential, Coachful counts coaching hours and distinct clients against ACC, PCC and MCC thresholds and exports an ICF client coaching log. Team plans add coach seats with per-coach availability and staff permissions for when you hire associate coaches.

Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. On every plan, you can open Create, choose "We'll build it for you · FREE" and describe what you want: a website, an application funnel, a program, a course outline, an email sequence, a lead quiz or something else. Attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files (logo, brand guide, existing copy), and the Coachful team builds it inside your account, usually within about 24 hours. Nothing is invented: no fake credentials, testimonials or prices, and gaps are left for you. One recent example: a business mentor for beauty professionals got a 12-week mentorship sales page, a free start-up-guide funnel and rewritten follow-up emails. It does not include recording videos, logo design, ad management or ongoing marketing. Read more about the white-glove service.

Limits to know. Coachful is not HIPAA-certified, has no PayPal, and every plan is paid once the trial ends. There is no Salesforce or HubSpot integration and no multi-stage sales deal board for large teams. The client app ships under the Coachful listing with your branding, not under your own App Store account. It is not a course marketplace, so there is no equivalent to Skool's discovery feed; you bring your own audience. Affiliate tracking covers links, clicks, conversions and revenue, but payouts are recorded manually.

Price. Coachful uses flat monthly plans; lower plans cap the number of clients, Pro is unlimited and monthly plans cancel in one click (current plans: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients). There is a free trial. More on the Coachful for business coaches page, and a head-to-head on Coachful vs Skool.

2. Kajabi: is it worth the price for a course-led business coach?

Kajabi suits business coaches whose income leans on courses and digital products sold to a large list. It bundles courses, a community, a website, funnels and email, which covers much more than Skool's classroom and gives you your own domain and marketing.

Kajabi homepage screenshot, captured in October 2026
Kajabi's homepage in October 2026.

For a business coach, the practical upside is that a signature course, a lead magnet, an email sequence and the community all sit on one site you control. Kajabi treats coaching as products and communities rather than per-client plans, so there are no habits, daily client check-ins or private 1:1 programs. If your offer is "course plus monthly group call", that is fine. If it is "retainer plus weekly accountability", you would add other tools.

As listed in October 2026, Basic is $179 a month ($143 a month billed annually) with 5 products, 2,500 contacts, 1 community, 1 website, 2 admin users and 0 AI credits. Growth is $249 a month ($199 annual) with 50 products and 25,000 contacts; Pro is $499 a month ($399 annual). Kajabi Payments in the US charges 2.9% + $0.30 on Basic, 2.8% on Growth and 2.7% on Pro; using another processor (other than PayPal) adds a Kajabi fee of 2%, 1% or 0.5% depending on plan. The trial is 14 days per Kajabi's help center, with a card optional. Kajabi held 3.4 on Trustpilot from 2,347 reviews when we looked in October 2026.

Watch the Basic plan's limits: 5 products fills quickly once you add a course, a workshop, a mastermind and a couple of downloads. We compare the two head to head in Kajabi vs Skool, and cover other options in Kajabi alternatives for business coaches.

Pick it over Coachful if most of your revenue is self-paced courses sold to thousands of contacts, and 1:1 accountability is a small part of the business.

3. GoHighLevel: does an agency CRM make sense for a coaching practice?

GoHighLevel makes sense when marketing volume is your bottleneck and someone on your team can build workflows. It is an agency-first marketing CRM with funnels, websites, calendars, SMS and email, invoicing, contracts, courses and communities, organized around sub-accounts.

HighLevel homepage screenshot, captured in October 2026
GoHighLevel's homepage in October 2026.

Business coaches who run ads, call leads quickly and follow up by text get a lot from it: calendars feed a pipeline, contracts and invoices go out from the same account, and courses and communities can stand in for Skool's classroom and feed. What it lacks is a coaching engine. There is no habit tracking, client check-in or structured program and task system; you would simulate weekly accountability with workflows and forms. Video calls rely on Zoom or Google Meet links.

As listed in October 2026, Starter is $97 a month ($80.83 annual) with 3 sub-accounts and unlimited users and contacts; Unlimited is $297 a month and Agency Pro $497 a month. There is no HighLevel fee on sales, but SMS, email, phone and AI usage are metered and billed on top, with per-unit rates on separate pricing guides. The trial is 14 days, and billing starts automatically when it ends unless you cancel. Trustpilot showed 4.9 from 15,250 reviews in October 2026.

The honest cost of GoHighLevel is setup time. Many solo coaches hire a specialist to build the funnels and automations, which can turn a low plan price into a larger first-year bill.

Pick it over Coachful if you run high-volume lead generation with SMS follow-up, have a team member or agency to configure it, and need a pipeline more than a client program.

4. Circle: the closest upgrade to Skool's community

Circle is the right move when the community is the product and you have outgrown Skool's single feed. It offers spaces, courses, events, live streams and paid memberships with your own branding and more admin control than Skool.

Circle homepage screenshot, captured in October 2026
Circle's homepage in October 2026.

For a business coach running a membership for agency owners or consultants, Circle lets you split members into spaces (wins, hiring, sales, cohort-specific channels), run live events and sell tiers. What it does not offer is the back office around 1:1 work: no scheduling, no client management, and no per-client habits, check-ins or coaching plans. Branded mobile apps come only on custom-priced Circle Plus.

As listed in October 2026, Professional is $89 a month billed annually (3 admins, 10 moderators), Business $199 a month billed annually and Scale $419 a month billed annually; monthly-billing prices were not captured in our check. Circle takes 2% of payments on Professional, 1% on Business and Scale and 0.5% on Circle Plus, plus Stripe processing. The trial is 14 days without a credit card. Circle had a Trustpilot score of 4.1 from 129 reviews in October 2026.

We compare the two community platforms directly on Skool vs Circle, and the Skool and Circle alternative page explains where an all-in-one tool fits.

Pick it over Coachful if your business is a large paid membership, you need many spaces and moderators, and 1:1 coaching is handled elsewhere or not at all.

5. Kartra: how far does a funnel suite go for coaches?

Kartra goes a long way on marketing and a short way on delivery. It is an all-in-one marketing suite with pages, funnels, email and SMS, memberships, calendars and a helpdesk.

Kartra homepage screenshot, captured in October 2026
Kartra's homepage in October 2026.

The calendar plus membership combination is closer to a business coach's needs than Skool: you can book strategy calls, run a launch funnel and host course content behind a login. There is no client habit tracking, check-in system or per-client coaching plan, and our earlier profile notes no mobile app for students or admins. Funnels and memberships are not portable to other platforms, which matters if you switch again later.

As listed in October 2026, Essentials is $59 a month ($52 annual) with 500 contacts, 5 pages, 1 product and 1 membership, and a 5% transaction fee. Starter at $119 a month ($99 annual) lifts that to 2,500 contacts, unlimited pages and products, unlimited email and SMS, and 0% transaction fees. Growth is $229 a month. There is a 14-day trial and a 30-day money-back guarantee. Trustpilot showed 3.2 from 129 reviews in October 2026.

For most business coaches, Essentials is too tight: one product and 500 contacts will not hold a lead magnet, a workshop and a mastermind. Budget for Starter.

Pick it over Coachful if you want SMS and email marketing, a helpdesk and launch funnels in one place, and you deliver coaching mostly on calls without structured between-session work.

Which one looks like you?

6. Mighty Networks: when community, courses and events come first

Mighty Networks fits business coaches building a community-led brand with courses and live events. It goes further than Skool on hosts, moderators and livestreams, and members use Mighty-branded apps.

Mighty Networks homepage screenshot, captured in October 2026
Mighty Networks' homepage in October 2026.

A founder community with weekly hot seats, a course on hiring and quarterly virtual events works well here. Missing for this niche: 1:1 scheduling, invoicing and contracts, and any per-client habits, check-ins or private coaching plans. Apps under your own brand come only with custom-priced Mighty Pro.

As listed in October 2026, Launch is $95 a month ($79 annual) with 3 hosts, 10 moderators and 20 hours of livestreaming a month; Scale is $215 a month ($179 annual); Growth is $354 a month billed annually. Mighty's platform fee on sales is 2% on Launch, 1% on Scale and 0.5% on Growth and Mighty Pro, plus Stripe processing. The trial is 14 days with no card and includes Growth features. Trustpilot showed 3.3 from 219 reviews in October 2026.

Read Skool vs Mighty Networks for a deeper comparison of the two community models.

Pick it over Coachful if you want the community and events experience at the center, with livestream capacity for hundreds of attendees, and 1:1 client work is minor.

7. Podia: a simple storefront that can sell coaching sessions

Podia is the low-complexity option. It is a storefront for courses, downloads, webinars, coaching sessions and a community, which suits a business coach selling a few clear products.

Podia homepage screenshot, captured in October 2026
Podia's homepage in October 2026.

A coach who sells a pricing workshop, a template pack and a monthly group call can run all three here, with a community space for buyers. The limits show up as the practice grows: email subscriber allowances are small (100, 500 or 1,000 included depending on plan), our earlier profile notes no mobile app and no native video calls, and there are no client habits, check-ins or per-client plans.

As listed in October 2026, Mover is $49 a month ($42 annual) with 50 products and a 5% Podia fee; Shaker is $99 a month ($84 annual) with 0% Podia fee and 500 email subscribers; Earthquaker is $179 a month ($150 annual). Stripe or PayPal processing applies on top. The trial is 14 days with full access and no card. Podia held 4.1 on Trustpilot from 153 reviews in October 2026.

The email caps are the catch for business coaches, who often nurture prospects for months before a retainer. Check whether 500 or 1,000 subscribers is enough before committing.

Pick it over Coachful if you sell a handful of products and simple session bookings, want the shortest possible setup, and do not need structured client accountability.

8. ClickFunnels: built for traffic, not for client delivery

ClickFunnels is a funnel and sales-page builder with email, courses, community, a store and an appointments app. It earns a place on this list for business coaches who sell through paid traffic and webinars.

ClickFunnels homepage screenshot, captured in October 2026
ClickFunnels' homepage in October 2026.

If your growth model is ads into a webinar into an application call, ClickFunnels handles the front end well, and the courses and community apps can stand in for Skool's classroom. It is not a client delivery system: there are no client habits, check-ins or structured 1:1 coaching programs, and our earlier profile notes that funnels are proprietary and not portable.

As listed in October 2026, Launch is $97 a month ($81 annual) with 10,000 contacts, 3 courses and 3 communities; Scale is $197 a month ($164 annual); Optimize is $297 a month ($248 annual). ClickFunnels takes 0% commission; processor fees apply. There is a 14-day trial and a 30-day money-back guarantee. Trustpilot showed 4.7 from 2,512 reviews in October 2026.

Our ClickFunnels alternatives guide looks at the funnel side in more depth.

Pick it over Coachful if paid traffic and split-tested funnels drive your business, and you are happy to deliver coaching in a separate tool.

9. Systeme.io: the budget pick with a real free plan

Systeme.io is the cheapest way off Skool for a coach who mainly needs a website, email and a course. It is a low-cost marketing suite with funnels, email, courses, community, a blog and an affiliate program.

Systeme.io homepage screenshot, captured in October 2026
Systeme.io's homepage in October 2026.

A business coach starting out can build a lead magnet funnel, a blog and a starter course on the free plan, then upgrade as the list grows. Our earlier profile notes no native 1:1 scheduling with client records, habits or check-ins, community and course features that are basic, and no branded mobile app.

As listed in October 2026, the Free plan includes 2,000 contacts, 3 funnels, 1 course, 500 students and 1 custom domain, with no card required and no expiry. Startup is $17 a month (5,000 contacts, 10 funnels, 5 courses), Webinar $47 a month and Unlimited $97 a month. Transaction fees are 0% on every plan, including Free. Trustpilot showed 4.9 from 8,696 reviews in October 2026.

The trade-off is that you will still need a scheduling tool, an e-signature tool and some way to track client accountability, so the "cheap" stack grows once you sign retainer clients.

Pick it over Coachful if budget is the deciding factor today, your offers are mostly digital, and you are comfortable adding separate booking and agreement tools.

10. Thinkific: an academy platform with community attached

Thinkific is a course platform with communities, memberships and coaching or webinar products. It suits a business coach building a large, structured academy.

Thinkific homepage screenshot, captured in October 2026
Thinkific's homepage in October 2026.

Thinkific's course builder is deep, and its communities and live events replace Skool's classroom and calendar for a cohort program. For 1:1 work it falls short: our earlier profile notes no built-in 1:1 scheduling (coaching relies on external booking links), and there are no client habits, daily check-ins or per-client plans. The branded mobile app is a $199 a month add-on.

As listed in October 2026, Start is $109 a month ($82 annual) with 10,000 current students, 2 admins and 1 community; Grow is $219 a month ($164 annual); Expand is $499 a month ($374 annual). Prices rose about 10% on August 13, 2026. Thinkific charges 0% transaction fees with Thinkific Payments; third-party gateways carry an extra per-plan fee. Every self-serve plan has a 30-day trial. Trustpilot showed 1.8 from 868 reviews in October 2026.

See Thinkific alternatives for coaches if you are comparing course platforms.

Pick it over Coachful if you are building a large self-paced academy with many courses and admins, and coaching calls are an occasional add-on.

What does each option cost at 5, 15 and 40 clients?

Here is the monthly plan you would need at three practice sizes, as listed in October 2026 on monthly billing. Most tools here price by contacts, products or features rather than clients, so the number often stays flat. Processor fees (typically around 2.9% + 30¢ per card charge) apply to every tool and are not included.

Tool5 clients15 clients40 clientsExtra fees to budget
CoachfulLite: $29/month for up to 5 clientsSolo: $49/month for up to 20 clientsPro: $99/month with unlimited clients0% platform fee; AI credits for confirmed builds
Skool Pro$99$99$992.9% + 30¢ (3.9% above $900) per sale; booking and e-sign tools extra
Kajabi Basic$179$179$1795-product cap; booking tool likely extra
GoHighLevel Starter$97$97$97Metered SMS, email, phone and AI usage
Circle Professional$89 (annual billing)$89 (annual billing)$89 (annual billing)2% of sales; booking and e-sign tools extra

Systeme.io$0 to $17$17$17 to $47Booking, e-sign and accountability tools extra
Thinkific Start$109$109$109Booking tool extra; branded app $199/mo add-on

An illustrative example of why fees matter: say 15 retainer clients each pay $1,000 a month (an example figure, not a market rate). On Skool Pro that is 15 charges above $900, so 3.9% + 30¢ each, or about $589.50 a month in Skool fees on top of the $99 plan. With a tool that charges 0% platform fee, you pay only your processor's rate. Set your own rates from your positioning, the outcome you sell and the hours each client takes, then run your own numbers through this table.

How would a business coach set this up in Coachful, step by step?

Here is a worked example: a coach for agency owners who sells a 6-month "Scale the Agency" engagement (two 1:1 calls a month plus a monthly mastermind) and runs a small Skool group today. The program name and structure are illustrative.

  2. Build the discovery call page. Set availability rules, a 15-minute buffer and 24 hours' minimum notice, and add intake questions: agency size, monthly revenue range, current biggest constraint. Turn on calendar sync and auto-created Zoom or Meet links.
  3. Attach the agreement. Upload your coaching agreement so it goes out for e-signature before the first session and lands on the client record.
  4. Build the program. Lay out 26 weeks with a weekly goal per phase (offer, pipeline, delivery, hiring), daily tasks where they help, and one or two habits such as "log every sales conversation". Add a Friday evening check-in with three questions: what moved, what is stuck, what you need from me. Michelle can draft the first version for you to edit.
  5. Set up the mastermind. Enrolling in the program creates the cohort group automatically. Schedule the monthly group call as a video event and post the first discussion prompt in the community feed.
  6. Move your Skool content. Export your Skool members to CSV and rebuild your classroom as a course with modules, lessons and drip. During onboarding, Coachful imports clients, programs and content for you.
  7. Publish the website and funnel. Pick one of the 30 homepage templates, or ask for the free white-glove build, and add an application funnel with UTM tracking for LinkedIn traffic. Add a short email sequence for applicants who do not book.
  8. Run the week. Before each call, read the client's AI briefing and check-in answers. Sort the client list by status and message anyone marked quiet or at risk.

What are the red flags and switching costs when leaving Skool?

Switching costs are mostly about members, payments and content. Plan each before you announce the move.

  • Exports are thin. Skool exports members to CSV (name, email, join date, membership answers); posts, DMs and course progress do not come with them, according to our September 2026 profile. Screenshot or copy your best threads and save completion data before you cancel. Our Skool migration guide covers the sequence.
  • Billing starts fresh. Skool processes payments through Skool Payments only, so plan for members to enter payment details again in your new tool, and ask Skool support about timing so nobody is billed twice.
  • Do not trade one fee for another. Several alternatives take a cut on entry plans: Kartra Essentials and Podia Mover at 5%, Circle and Mighty Networks Launch at 2%. Compare fees at your real revenue, not the headline price.
  • Watch caps that bite high-ticket coaches. Kajabi Basic's 5 products and Kartra Essentials' 500 contacts look generous until you add a lead magnet, a workshop, a mastermind and a waitlist.
  • Count the tools, not just the plan. If the platform lacks booking, e-signature or check-ins, add a scheduler, an e-sign service and a form tool to the monthly total, plus the time spent keeping them in sync.
  • Do not rebuild everything at once. Move paying 1:1 clients first, then the mastermind, then the free audience. A staged move keeps revenue steady.
  • Do not lose discovery without a plan. Skool's discovery feed sends some members your way. Leaving it means your website, LinkedIn and email list have to do that job, so set up a lead magnet before you go.

Which Skool alternative should a business coach choose?

Choose Coachful if your practice combines private client work with a group: it adds 1:1 booking, signed agreements, programs with weekly goals and check-ins, your own payment account at 0% platform fee and a branded website to the community and classroom you had on Skool, under one login. Choose Kajabi or Thinkific if courses are the business, GoHighLevel, Kartra or ClickFunnels if marketing volume is the bottleneck, Circle or Mighty Networks if the community itself is the product, and Podia or Systeme.io if simplicity or budget comes first.

To start with Coachful, open a free trial, then request the free white-glove build for your website, application funnel or first program so you are not rebuilding everything yourself.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best Skool alternative for business coaches?

For business coaches who mix 1:1 retainers with a mastermind or group program, Coachful is our pick because it covers booking, agreements, payments, accountability programs and a community in one account. If your business is mostly courses, Kajabi is the stronger fit; if the community is the whole product, look at Circle.

Is Skool good for business coaching?

Skool is good for the group side: a community feed, a classroom, a calendar and leaderboards, with simple two-plan pricing. It lacks 1:1 client records, intake forms, habits and check-ins, a custom-domain website and email automation, so most business coaches with private clients add other tools or move.

How much does Skool charge in transaction fees?

As listed in October 2026, Skool Hobby charges 10% + 30¢ on all transactions and Skool Pro charges 2.9% + 30¢ up to $899 and 3.9% + 30¢ above $900. Skool's help center states the fees are non-refundable.

Can I move my Skool members to another platform?

You can export members to CSV with name, email, join date and membership answers. Posts, DMs and course progress are not exportable according to our September 2026 profile, so save what you need before cancelling and invite members to the new space with a clear date.

What is Coachful's free white-glove service?

On every plan, you can ask the Coachful team to build a website, funnel, program, course outline, email sequence or similar inside your account, usually within about 24 hours. You attach reference links and files; the team does not invent credentials, testimonials or prices. It does not cover recording videos, logo design, ads or ongoing marketing.

Does Coachful have a community like Skool?

Yes. Coachful includes a community feed, group chat, direct messages and video events, and creates cohort groups automatically when clients enroll in a program. It has no public discovery feed like Skool's, so new members come from your own website, funnels and email.

Can business coaches send coaching agreements in Coachful?

Yes. Coaching agreements with e-signature go out before the first call and are stored on the client record. Have a lawyer in your country review the agreement wording itself.

Which Skool alternative has no transaction fees?

Coachful (0% platform fee since August 2026), ClickFunnels, Systeme.io, Kartra Starter and above, Podia Shaker and above, and Thinkific with Thinkific Payments charge no platform fee on sales as listed in October 2026. Card processing fees from Stripe or another processor still apply.

Does Coachful work with PayPal or HubSpot?

No. Coachful takes payments through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account and has no PayPal option. It integrates with Zapier, Google Calendar, Outlook, Zoom and others, but has no Salesforce or HubSpot integration.

Is Coachful only for solo coaches?

No. Coachful is built for solo coaches growing into a small team: team plans add coach seats with per-coach availability and staff permissions, and multi-coach session types can use round-robin or least-busy assignment. It does not include a multi-stage sales deal board for large sales teams.
