Best App for Emotional Intelligence Coaches: 10 Picks (2026)

The best app for emotional intelligence coaches is the one your clients will actually open on an ordinary Tuesday, when they are irritated in a meeting or lying awake replaying a conversation. Emotional intelligence work happens between sessions: noticing a feeling, naming it, pausing before reacting, and reflecting afterwards. So the deciding question is simple. Which app puts a short daily check-in, the next lesson, a reflection prompt and a line to you in one place on your client's phone, and connects all of it to the back office where you book, bill and prepare?
Our pick is Coachful's client app. Clients get it on iPhone and Android, with your branding inside the Coachful app, and it carries morning and evening check-ins, habits, goals with progress bars, programs, courses, a community and direct messages. On the coach side, the same login runs booking, payments, agreements and the client record. We make Coachful, so weigh that, and read the nine other options below with their real prices and trade-offs, including three tools that have no native app at all.

This guide is about the client's phone, not your desk. If you are still shaping the offer itself, start with how to start an emotional intelligence coaching business and our overview of emotional intelligence coaching models and evidence.
A scope note before the list: emotional intelligence coaching is not therapy and is not treatment for depression, anxiety, trauma or any mental health condition. An app that collects mood check-ins makes it easier to see when a client is struggling beyond coaching scope. When a client describes persistent low mood, panic, self-harm thoughts or symptoms that interfere with daily life, pause the coaching plan and refer them to a licensed mental health professional or local emergency services.
What do emotional intelligence clients actually do in an app, week to week?
They log short moments of awareness and practise small regulation habits, then bring that data to the next session. Emotional intelligence is usually described as the ability to perceive, understand, use and manage emotions in yourself and others (Wikipedia's summary of the main models covers Salovey and Mayer, Goleman and the trait approach). Each of those abilities turns into something a client can do on a phone.
- A morning intention. "Today I want to notice when I get defensive in the 10 a.m. review." Thirty seconds, once a day.
- An evening reflection. What did I feel, what triggered it, what did I do next, what would I try instead? This is the core data of EI coaching, and it resembles the experience sampling approach researchers use to capture feelings close to the moment (experience sampling method).
- A regulation habit. Three breaths before replying to email, a body scan at lunch, a two-line journal. Habits form through repetition in a stable context (overview of habit formation), so a visible streak helps. Our guide to emotional regulation techniques for coaches has seven to choose from.
- A short lesson. One module a week on, say, the difference between a feeling and a judgement, or mapping emotional triggers.
- A pre-session worksheet. An assessment, a reflection form or a 360 summary before the call. See our guide to emotional intelligence assessment in coaching.
- A message to the coach. "It happened again with my manager. I paused this time."
- A group space if you run cohorts for leaders or teams, where people share what they practised.
An app that only handles booking and invoices covers none of this. An app that only hosts a community covers the group piece but not the private daily reflection. That gap is why the ranking below weighs the client experience first.
What does each stage of the EI client journey need from an app?
Every stage needs something different, and most tools cover only one or two. Here is how we split an emotional intelligence client's journey into four stages.
- Attract. A prospect finds you, takes a free EQ self-check or downloads a guide, and books a discovery call. Needs: a website or landing page, a lead magnet, a booking page.
- Enroll. The prospect becomes a client. Needs: checkout, a coaching agreement with e-signature, an intake form, the app invitation.
- Deliver. The weeks of work. Needs: daily check-ins, habits, lessons, worksheets, messaging, session booking and reminders, a group space for cohorts.
- Retain. The client finishes a program and either renews, joins an alumni group or refers a colleague. Needs: progress history they can see, a community, an easy renewal offer, email follow-up.
The table scores each tool on those stages, based on what vendors document and our profile data. Ranking criteria in one line: one login for the whole client journey, quality of between-session delivery on the client's phone, total stack cost, and setup effort (including Coachful's free white-glove build).
| App | Attract | Enroll | Deliver (client phone) | Retain | Native client app | Starting price |

Prices are as listed on vendor pricing pages in October 2026; app details come from our September 2026 vendor profiles. Next to each tool you will find what the client sees, what you pay, and when to choose it over Coachful.
1. Coachful: is it the best client app for emotional intelligence coaching?
For most EI coaches who run multi-week programs, yes. Coachful puts the daily reflection loop, the lessons, the messages and the group in one client app, and runs booking, payments and agreements from the same account, so nothing has to be stitched together.

What your client sees on their phone
Clients install the Coachful app on iPhone or Android and see your branding inside it. To be precise: it ships under the Coachful listing in the App Store and Google Play, not under your own developer account. For most solo coaches that is the right trade, because you avoid app review, developer fees and maintenance. If a listing under your own name matters to your brand, read what to check before buying a custom branded coaching app.
Inside, the client's home brings together:
- Morning and evening check-ins. You write the questions. For EI work that might be "What emotion do you expect to meet today?" in the morning and "Where did you notice a strong feeling, and what did you do next?" at night.
- Habits with streaks. "Pause three breaths before replying" or "Two-line feelings journal" sit as habits the client ticks off, with a visible streak.
- Goals with progress bars. A goal such as "Stay curious in conflict with my co-founder" links to daily tasks and habits, with daily and weekly reflection tabs below.
- Programs. Multi-week programs with weekly goals and daily tasks. A six-week "Self-awareness to self-management" arc fits naturally.
- Courses and resources. Modules, lessons, drip release and completion tracking, plus downloads, videos, books, worksheets and AI tools.
- Sessions. Upcoming calls, pre-session worksheets and the notes you share.
- Community and messages. A community feed, group chat, direct messages and video events. Cohort groups are created automatically when a client enrolls in a program.
- AI Coach, if you switch it on. An AI version of you that selected clients can chat with between sessions, configured by you.

Here is a short walkthrough of how check-ins are set up and what clients answer:
What you see behind it
Every check-in, habit tick and note lands on the client record next to sessions, payments, intake answers and tags. Coachful labels each client as thriving, active, quiet or at risk, which is useful in EI work: a client who stops reflecting is often a client having a hard week. Before each call, Michelle, the built-in AI assistant, can brief you from that live data and summarise recorded sessions. Michelle can also give optional private feedback on your own coaching against ICF Core Competencies 3 to 8, and ICF credential tracking counts your hours and distinct clients toward ACC, PCC and MCC.
The rest of the journey sits in the same account. Booking pages detect time zones and sync two-way with Google, Apple/iCloud and Outlook calendars; sessions get built-in video or auto-created Zoom, Meet or Teams links; reminders go by email, plus SMS and WhatsApp once messaging is enabled. Payments run through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account with subscriptions, payment plans, coupons, Apple Pay and Google Pay, and a 0% Coachful platform fee since August 2026 (only Stripe or Razorpay processing applies). Coaching agreements are e-signed before the first call. For attracting clients there is a section-based website builder with a blog and custom domain, booking and lead-magnet funnels, a link-in-bio page, and email sequences with branching. Group programs are covered on our group coaching software page.
Where it falls short
Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and offers no BAA, so it is not for clinical records or insurance billing. It has no PayPal, no permanent free plan, and no Garmin, Fitbit, Whoop or Oura sync; Apple Health sync is not publicly available. That last point matters if you pair EI work with heart-rate variability data from a wearable. There is no Salesforce or HubSpot integration, which some corporate EI buyers expect.
Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. From Create > We'll build it for you · FREE, you describe what you want built (a website, a funnel, a program, a course outline and written material, a journey, a worksheet, an email sequence and more), attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files, and the Coachful team builds it inside your account, usually within about 24 hours. Nothing is invented: no fake credentials, testimonials or prices; gaps are left for you to fill. For an EI coach, a sensible first request is a six-week program with morning and evening check-in questions, plus a lead-magnet funnel for a free self-awareness worksheet. One recent example: a leadership coach with a Squarespace renewal days away got one clean homepage with a repeated "talk with me" button. The service does not cover recording videos, logo design, ads or ongoing marketing. More detail in how the free white-glove service works.

Price: flat monthly plans, with lower plans capping the number of clients and Pro unlimited (current plans: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients). Monthly plans cancel in one click, and there is a free trial.
Who it is for: EI coaches who deliver programs rather than single sessions, solo coaches growing into a small team, and anyone replacing four to six tools. Executive and leadership EI coaches will find more on our page for executive coaches, and mindset-focused coaches on the mindset coaches page.
2. Mighty Networks: does a community app fit EI cohorts?
It does for group work, and it is the strongest community experience on this list after Coachful. Mighty Networks combines a community feed, courses, events and livestreams, and members use the Mighty app on all plans. Your own branded iOS and Android apps arrive only on Mighty Pro, which is custom-priced.

For an emotional intelligence coach running a leadership cohort, the feed and events cover the "share what you practised this week" rhythm well, and the Challenges feature encourages daily activity. What it does not give you is a private, per-client habit tracker or daily check-in. Our profile notes that Challenges is not a per-client habit tracker, and there are no private coaching plans, 1:1 scheduling, invoicing or contracts. So the deeply personal part of EI coaching (what made you angry today and what you did with it) has nowhere private to live, unless you push it into direct messages.
Pricing as listed in October 2026: Launch is $95 a month or $79 a month billed annually, with 3 hosts and 200 GB storage; Scale is $215 a month or $179 annually. Mighty takes a platform fee of 2% on Launch, 1% on Scale and 0.5% on Growth and Mighty Pro, on top of Stripe processing. A 14-day trial needs no card. On Trustpilot it showed 3.3 from 219 reviews when we checked in October 2026.
Pick it over Coachful if your EI offer is mainly a large community or membership, you rarely do 1:1 work, and you are happy to keep booking, contracts and private check-ins in other tools.
3. Circle: what do members get on the phone?
A polished community app with courses, events, live streams and paid memberships. Circle-branded iOS and Android apps are available on all plans; a white-label app under your brand requires Circle Plus, which is custom-priced.

Circle suits EI coaches who teach in public: a monthly live session on emotional agility, a course library, and spaces for different cohorts. Its weakness for our use case is the same as Mighty's. There is no 1:1 scheduling, no client management back office and no per-client habits, check-ins or coaching plans. A client cannot log a private evening reflection that only you see, other than through messages.
As listed in October 2026, Professional is $89 a month billed annually (3 admins, 10 moderators), Business is $199 a month annually and Scale $419 a month annually; monthly prices were not shown. Circle charges a fee on payments of 2% on Professional, 1% on Business and Scale, and 0.5% on Circle Plus, plus Stripe processing. There is a 14-day trial without a card. Trustpilot showed 4.1 from 129 reviews in October 2026.
Pick it over Coachful if you already have a booking and billing setup you like, and what you need is a premium community and course space for a large EI audience.
For a broader comparison of community tools, see our community platform for coaches page.
4. Everfit: can a fitness app carry emotional habits?
Partly. Everfit is a fitness coaching app with workouts, habits, nutrition and messaging in a native client app, and its habit and task features can hold regulation practices like breathing or journaling. Everything else in it is built for trainers.

The appeal is the price and the app. Starter is free forever for up to 5 clients. Pro starts at $19 a month ($16 annually) for 5 clients and scales by client count: $29 for 10, $49 for 20, $95 for 50. A 30-day trial needs no card. That makes Everfit a cheap way to put a habit tracker on a client's phone if your EI program is light on lessons.
The drawbacks show up fast. Automation (Autoflow), payments and meal plans are paid add-ons; there is no course builder, website, funnels or email marketing. Your clients will open an app full of workout vocabulary, which can feel off for a leadership client working on empathy. Trustpilot showed 2.7 from 16 reviews in October 2026.
Pick it over Coachful if you combine EI coaching with physical training, already run your business elsewhere, and want the lowest-cost habit app for a handful of clients.
5. Practice Better: a wellness practitioner's portal, with an app
Practice Better is practice management for wellness and nutrition practitioners, with a client portal on web, iOS and Android covering booking, messaging, forms, programs, documents and invoices. It is the most complete 1:1 tool on this list after Coachful, but its centre of gravity is clinical-style charting and food journaling.

For EI coaches, the useful parts are the forms, the programs and the journaling. Our profile notes food and lifestyle journaling with daily targets, but no streak-based habit tracker and no coaching goals with progress bars verified. It connects to Apple Health, Fitbit, Garmin and Oura, which could matter if you use heart-rate data in stress work. There is no website builder or funnel pages. Evergreen programs, portal branding, custom URL and SMS start on the Plus plan.
Pricing as listed in October 2026: Sprout is free for 3 clients; Starter $35 a month ($25 annually) for 10 clients; Professional $69 ($59 annually) for 300 clients; Plus $99 ($89 annually) with unlimited clients; Team $155 ($145 annually) for 2 practitioners. Trials run 14 days, or 30 on Team. Trustpilot showed 3.8 from 87 reviews in October 2026. Our Practice Better app review covers the client side in detail.
Pick it over Coachful if you also work as a licensed health practitioner and need charting or wearable data alongside your EI coaching.
6. Paperbell: what happens when there is no app at all?
Your clients use a mobile browser. Paperbell has no standalone mobile app; clients reach the portal through the browser or an add-to-home-screen shortcut. That matters more for EI work than for most niches, because the reflection habit depends on being one tap away.

As back-office admin for a solo coach, Paperbell is tidy: booking, packages, payments, contracts, a client portal and a simple website, all for one price. Our profile lists no courses, no community and no goal or habit tracking. So the Deliver stage of an EI journey, the daily part, would need another app on top.
As listed in October 2026, Paperbell is a single plan at $97 a month or $80.83 a month billed annually, with unlimited clients, sessions and packages, and no extra transaction fees beyond Stripe or PayPal processing. The trial length is not on the pricing page; the help centre in July 2026 described a 7-day trial with the public site offline and client messages off. There is a 30-day money-back guarantee. Trustpilot showed 3.5 from 14 reviews in October 2026. Alternatives are compared on our Paperbell alternatives page.
Pick it over Coachful if your EI work is session-based with no daily practice component, you want one flat price, and you prefer PayPal as a payment option.
7. CoachAccountable: strong action plans, web-only access
CoachAccountable is a coaching back office with sessions, action plans, metrics, worksheets, courses, invoicing and agreements. It has no native mobile app; it is a web app with a documented add-to-home-screen shortcut, and reviewers say they wish for a dedicated client app.

Its metrics and worksheets are genuinely useful for EI coaching. You can have a client rate frustration or calm each day as a metric and see the trend, or assign a trigger-mapping worksheet before a session. The experience is functional rather than friendly, and the lack of an app means the client is logging into a website on their phone to record a feeling.
Pricing scales with active clients, as listed in October 2026: Starter $20 a month for 2 clients, Level 1 $40 for 5, Level 2 $70 for 10, Level 3 $120 for 20, Level 4 $250 for 50, Level 5 $400 for 100. That per-client model gets expensive for group programs. A 30-day trial needs no card. There are no landing pages, website or marketing automation, and it is not HIPAA compliant by its own statement. Trustpilot showed 4.8 from 47 reviews in October 2026, the highest rating here. See also our CoachAccountable alternatives.
Pick it over Coachful if you coach a small number of high-touch executive clients who are comfortable in a browser and you want deep metric tracking above all.
8. Kajabi: courses first, coaching second
Kajabi is a platform for selling knowledge products: courses, communities, websites, funnels and email. Our September 2026 profile notes a Kajabi customer app on Growth and Pro, with a branded app on those plans as well.

If your EI business is mostly an online course (say, a self-paced "Emotional intelligence for new managers" programme) Kajabi's marketing side is mature. The client app experience centres on courses and community. There is no habit tracking and no daily client check-in; coaching is sold as a product or community, not as a per-client plan.
As listed in October 2026: Basic is $179 a month ($143 annually) with 5 products and 2,500 contacts; Growth $249 ($199 annually); Pro $499 ($399 annually). Kajabi Payments charges 2.7% to 2.9% plus 30 cents in the US, and using another processor (other than PayPal) adds a 0.5% to 2% Kajabi fee. The standard trial is 14 days. Trustpilot showed 3.4 from 2,347 reviews in October 2026.
Pick it over Coachful if a large self-paced course is your main revenue and 1:1 or small-group EI coaching is a minor add-on.
9. ABC Trainerize: a seat-priced habit app built for gyms
Trainerize offers a client app and a coach app on iOS and Android with workouts, habits, nutrition tracking and messaging, priced by client seats. A custom-branded app is a $169 one-time add-on on Pro plans with 30 or more clients, per our September 2026 profile.

Like Everfit, Trainerize can hold an EI habit ("evening reflection", "three breaths before meetings"), and messaging gives clients a direct line. The rest is fitness: scheduling, selling products, payments and video are separate paid add-ons below Studio, and there is no course builder, website, funnels or email marketing. Our profile also notes that client data export is incomplete, without messages, photos or attachments, which matters if reflections live in chat.
As listed in October 2026: Basic is free for 1 client; Grow $10 a month for 2; Pro for 5 clients $25 ($23 annually), with tiers up to 200 clients; Studio Plus $275 a month. The 30-day trial has unlimited clients and no card. Trustpilot showed 3.1 from 100 reviews in October 2026.
Pick it over Coachful if you work inside a gym or studio, EI is a side element of physical coaching, and you need class scheduling across locations.
10. Skool: simple, gamified, and public
Skool puts a community, a classroom and a calendar in one group, with gamified leaderboards. The Skool Communities app runs on iOS and Android with feed, classroom, calendar, DMs and push notifications; it is not white-label.

Members learn Skool in minutes, which helps adoption. For EI coaching, though, leaderboards reward visible activity, and emotional work is often private. There are no 1:1 client records, intake forms, habits or check-ins, no custom-domain website, funnels or email automation. Payments run only through Skool Payments.
As listed in October 2026: Hobby is $9 a month ($7.50 annually) with a 10% plus 30 cent fee on every transaction; Pro is $99 a month ($82.50 annually) with 2.9% plus 30 cents up to $899 and 3.9% plus 30 cents above $900. Trial length is not stated. Trustpilot showed 1.6 from 54 reviews in October 2026.
Pick it over Coachful if you run a low-cost, high-volume EI community where public accountability is the point, and you need no private client work.
How do the client apps compare feature by feature?
Coachful is the only tool here that combines private daily check-ins, habits, goals, lessons, messaging and community in one native client app. The matrix shows where each one stands.

|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful | Morning and evening | Yes | Programs and courses | DMs and group chat | Feed, cohorts, events | Goals with progress bars | Your branding inside the Coachful app | Yes, same login |

What does a week in Coachful's app look like for one EI client?
Here is an illustrative example, not a real client. Sam is a newly promoted engineering manager enrolled in a six-week emotional intelligence program, working on staying calm in tense one-to-ones.
- Monday, 7:40 a.m. Sam opens the app and answers the morning check-in: "Which conversation today might be hard?" They type "Performance chat with Priya."
- Monday, 12:30 p.m. Sam ticks the "three breaths before the meeting" habit. The streak moves to four days.
- Monday, 9:15 p.m. The evening check-in asks where they noticed a strong feeling. Sam writes that they felt defensive when Priya disagreed, noticed their jaw tighten, and asked a question instead of arguing.
- Wednesday. Week 3's lesson, "Name it to tame it", unlocks in the program. Sam watches it on the train and completes the two-question reflection.
- Thursday. Sam posts in the cohort group, created automatically when they enrolled, and two peers reply with what worked for them.
- Friday. Sam messages the coach: "Better week. Still struggling with written feedback." The coach replies with a short worksheet.
- Before next Tuesday's call. The coach reads Michelle's briefing: check-ins completed most days, the habit streak intact, a recurring theme of defensiveness in disagreement. The session starts from data, not memory.

Nothing in that week required the client to open a second app or log into a website, and nothing required the coach to copy notes between tools.

What does a full stack cost: all-in-one or assembled?
An assembled stack that matches Coachful's coverage usually costs more each month and takes more setup. These example stacks use October 2026 list prices for about 10 clients; your numbers will differ with client counts and payment fees.
| Stack | Tools | Approximate monthly cost | Client apps to install | Logins for the coach |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful | One platform: site, booking, payments, agreements, programs, check-ins, community, email | Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients | 1 | 1 |
| Admin plus community | Paperbell + Circle Professional | About $186 ($97 + $89 annual), plus Circle's 2% fee on community sales | 1 (Circle), portal in browser | 2 |
| Admin plus habit app | Paperbell + Everfit Pro (10 clients) | About $126 ($97 + $29) | 1 (Everfit) | 2 |
| Course-led | Kajabi Growth + CoachAccountable Level 2 | About $319 ($249 + $70), with the app on Growth | 1 (Kajabi), CoachAccountable in browser | 2 |
| Community-led | Mighty Networks Launch + a scheduling tool | $95 plus the scheduler, plus 2% of sales | 1 (Mighty) | 2 or more |
The bigger cost of an assembled stack is the client's attention. Each extra login is a chance for the reflection habit to fade in week two. If you want a broader view of tools that combine apps and payments, see the best coaching apps with payments.
Which mistakes do EI coaches make when choosing a client app?
The most common one is choosing for the coach's convenience and forgetting the client's phone. Others we see often:
- Treating community as a substitute for private reflection. Many EI clients will not post what triggered them in a group feed. They need a private check-in that only you read.
- Asking too much daily. Ten questions every evening breaks the habit by week two. Two or three short prompts work better.
- Accepting browser-only access for a daily habit. A shortcut to a website is not the same as an app the client already trusts.
- Ignoring per-client pricing. Seat-based or active-client pricing can double when you launch a 20-person leadership cohort.
- Forgetting platform fees. 0.5% to 10% per sale adds up on high-ticket executive programs.
- Collecting sensitive mood data without a scope plan. Decide in advance what you do when a check-in signals distress beyond coaching, and write the referral step into your agreement.
- Building it all yourself on day one. A program, check-in questions and a lead magnet are exactly what a done-for-you build can handle while you coach.
How do you move clients to a new app without losing them?
Switch at a natural break, keep the first week simple, and bring the history with you. A practical sequence:
- Export first. Download client lists, notes, worksheets and course content from the old tool before you cancel. Check what is missing; some tools do not export messages or attachments.
- Have the import done for you. In Coachful, clients, programs and content are imported during onboarding, and the white-glove team can rebuild a program or website from your old material.
- Start at a program boundary. Move clients when a new cycle begins rather than in week three of a six-week arc.
- Send one clear invitation. Explain why the change helps them: "Your check-ins, lessons and messages will all be in one app."
- Make the first check-in tiny. One question on day one, building to the full routine by the end of the first week.
- Run both for two weeks, no longer. Keep the old tool read-only for reference, then cancel.

Which app should an emotional intelligence coach choose?
Choose Coachful if you run programs with daily practice, want one app for check-ins, habits, lessons, messages and community, and want your booking, payments and agreements behind it in the same login. Choose Mighty Networks or Circle if your offer is mainly a large community. Choose Practice Better if you also need practitioner-style charting and wearable data. Choose Paperbell or CoachAccountable only if your clients are comfortable without a native app.
Coachful in brief: a coaching platform where one subscription covers booking, payments, contracts, program delivery with habits and check-ins, courses, community, a website with funnels and email, and an AI assistant. It is for coaches who deliver programs, not just sessions. It does not offer HIPAA compliance, PayPal, wearable sync or an app under your own App Store account. To start, take the free trial and request a free white-glove build of your first program and check-ins. Compare plans on the plans page.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best app for emotional intelligence coaches?
For most EI coaches running multi-week programs, Coachful is the strongest pick, because its client app combines morning and evening check-ins, habits, goals, lessons, messaging and community, and connects to booking and payments in the same account. Community-first coaches may prefer Mighty Networks or Circle. We make Coachful, so compare the trade-offs above.
Is Coachful's client app branded with my name in the App Store?
No. Clients download the Coachful app on iPhone or Android and see your branding inside it. It is not published under your own App Store or Google Play account, which also means you avoid app review and developer account upkeep.
What is Coachful's free white-glove service?
It is a done-for-you build included on every plan. You describe what you need (a website, a funnel, a program, check-in flows, an email sequence and more), attach up to 8 links and 10 files, and the Coachful team builds it inside your account, usually within about 24 hours. It does not include recording videos, logo design or ad management.
Can I use mood check-ins without crossing into therapy?
Yes, if you keep the purpose clear. Check-ins in coaching build self-awareness and track practice; they are not diagnostic tools. State your scope in your agreement and refer clients to a licensed mental health professional when they describe symptoms such as persistent low mood, panic or thoughts of self-harm.
Which tools on this list have no native client app?
Paperbell and CoachAccountable have no native mobile app; clients use a mobile browser or an add-to-home-screen shortcut. Satori, which we left off this list, also has no native app per our profile data.
Is Coachful HIPAA-compliant?
No. Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and does not sign a BAA, so it is not suitable for clinical records or insurance billing. Coaches who also practise as licensed clinicians should look at practitioner tools such as Practice Better for that part of their work.
Can clients use an EI app with their Apple Watch or wearable?
Not with Coachful: it has no Garmin, Fitbit, Whoop or Oura sync, and Apple Health sync is not publicly available. Practice Better lists Apple Health, Fitbit, Garmin and Oura connections if wearable data is central to your method.
How many daily questions should an EI check-in have?
Two or three is a good starting point: one about what the client noticed, one about what they did, and optionally one about what they would try next time. Short check-ins are easier to keep up, and you can add depth in weekly reflections or pre-session worksheets.
Do I need a community for emotional intelligence coaching?
Not always. Private 1:1 clients often prefer a direct line to you over a group. Cohort programs for leaders or teams benefit from a shared space; Coachful creates cohort groups automatically when clients enroll. Our article on team emotional intelligence covers group-level work.
Can I run corporate EI programs for teams in the same app?
Yes. Coachful's team plans add coach seats with per-coach availability and staff permissions, and group programs, cohort chats and video events sit alongside 1:1 work. It has no Salesforce or HubSpot integration, which some corporate buyers request.
