Best Coaching Software Ireland in 2026 (10 Compared)

Best Coaching Software Ireland in 2026 (10 Compared)

The best coaching software Ireland coaches can pick in 2026 is the one that runs the whole client journey from a single login: a client in Cork books a call, signs an agreement, pays in euro through your own payment account, then gets daily check-ins and program content between sessions, without you stitching four subscriptions together. Most platforms on the market do one or two of those jobs well. The deciding question for an Irish practice is simple: how many separate tools, logins and US-dollar invoices will you accept to cover booking, payments, delivery and marketing?

Our pick is Coachful, because it covers booking, payments, agreements, programs with habits and check-ins, courses, community, a website with funnels and email in one membership, and it charges a 0% platform fee on your sales. We make Coachful, so weigh that, and read the nine alternatives below: each one wins a specific situation, and we say plainly when you should pick it instead. If you are just starting, our guide to software for new coaches covers the first-year basics, and coaches selling across the Irish Sea may also want our UK roundup.

What do coaches in Ireland actually need from coaching software?

They need software that handles euro payments, respects GDPR, keeps VAT simple to track and delivers coaching between sessions, not just a calendar. The details matter more here than in a US-centred roundup, because most coaching platforms are built and priced for the American market.

Payments in your own account. An Irish coach typically bills clients in euro and sometimes in sterling for clients in Northern Ireland or Britain. A platform that routes payments through your own Stripe (or similar) account keeps the money and the payout schedule under your control. Platforms that force their own payment processor, or add a percentage on top, change your real margin.

GDPR as a working habit, not a checkbox. Coaching notes, intake answers and check-ins are personal data. Ireland's Data Protection Commission publishes guidance on what organisations must do, including how controller and processor relationships work and how breach notifications are handled (Data Protection Commission, "Know your obligations", dataprotection.ie). In practice, you are the controller for your clients' data and your software vendor is a processor, so you want a vendor that offers a data processing agreement, lets you export everything and lets you delete what you no longer need.

VAT thresholds you can watch. Revenue lists a VAT registration threshold of €42,500 for persons supplying services only, and a separate €10,000 threshold for cross-border electronically supplied services to consumers in other EU member states (Revenue, "What are the VAT thresholds?", revenue.ie, checked October 2026). A coach selling one-to-one sessions and a recorded course to clients in Germany or Spain can meet these rules from two directions at once. Software that shows revenue by product and issues an invoice per transaction makes that tracking far easier. How the rules apply to your mix of live and automated services varies, so check with an accountant.

Between-session delivery. Clients pay for change, and change happens between calls. Life, business, wellness and executive coaches in Ireland increasingly sell 8 to 12 week programs or small group cohorts. That needs habits, check-ins, a program calendar and somewhere for the group to talk, which a booking tool alone does not give you.

Scope. Coaching is not counselling, psychotherapy or medical treatment. If a client describes symptoms of depression, an eating disorder, trauma or a medical condition, refer them to their GP or an appropriately registered professional, and make that line clear in your coaching agreement. None of the tools in this list is built for clinical record-keeping.

Which coaching software is best for each situation? (Quick picks)

Coachful is the best overall choice; the other picks win narrower situations. Ranking criteria: one login for the whole client journey, between-session delivery, total monthly stack cost, and setup effort (including Coachful's free white-glove build).

How did we choose and rank these tools?

We ranked them against one realistic Irish practice: a solo coach in Limerick with 15 one-to-one clients, one six-week group program of about 12 people that runs twice a year, a small website and an email list of a few hundred contacts. Clients sit in Ireland, Northern Ireland and a handful of other EU countries. That scenario is an example, not a survey, but it is typical of the coaches who ask us what to buy.

For each tool we read the vendor's own pricing and feature pages as listed in October 2026, checked what public reviewers report on Trustpilot where a rating is published, and asked four questions:

  1. Can a client go from first click to paid, signed and enrolled without leaving the platform?
  2. Does the client get support between sessions (habits, check-ins, program content, group chat)?
  3. What does the full stack cost per month once you add the tools this one does not cover?
  4. How long until it is live? Templates, imports and done-for-you help count.

We did not test these platforms hands-on for this article. Prices are in US dollars because that is how almost every vendor lists them; your card or bank may add a currency conversion charge, so check with your bank. Figures are shown before any VAT a vendor may add.

1. Coachful: why is it the best coaching software for Irish coaches?

It wins when you want one membership to replace your booking tool, payment links, contract app, course host, community and email platform, and you want clients supported between calls. For the Limerick scenario above, it is the only option here that covers all four ranking questions without a second subscription.

What it is. Coachful is a coaching platform built for coaches who deliver programs, not only sessions: solo coaches, coaches growing into a small team, and coaches replacing four to six tools. You get one login; your clients get one branded app. The company is based in Tallinn, Estonia, so it is an EU business, and the platform is GDPR-ready with a full client data export as a ZIP file (roster, notes, check-ins, goals, habits, sessions and form responses). On Trustpilot it holds 4.5 from 21 reviews.

Booking and sessions that fit Irish and EU clients

Booking pages support availability rules, buffers, minimum notice and automatic time-zone detection, which matters when one client is in Dublin and another in Berlin. Calendars sync two ways with Google, Apple/iCloud and Outlook. Sessions run on built-in video or auto-created Zoom, Google Meet or Teams links. Reminders go by email, and once messaging is enabled, by SMS (24 hours before) and WhatsApp (1 hour before). You can sell paid sessions or session credits, add intake questions to the booking form, and, on team plans, assign multi-coach session types by round robin or least-busy coach. See scheduling in Coachful.

Programs, habits and check-ins between sessions

This is where Coachful separates from admin-only tools. You build multi-week programs with weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins, goals with progress bars, and streaks. Each client record pulls together goals, check-ins, habits, notes, intake answers, tags, payments and sessions, and flags each client as thriving, active, quiet or at risk, so you notice the person drifting in week three before they quietly stop showing up. When someone enrols in a group program, a cohort group is created automatically with its own feed and chat. More than 40 ready-to-film program templates give you a starting structure. The walkthrough below shows the program builder.

Payments, agreements and invoices in your own account

Payments run through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account: one-time, subscriptions, payment plans, order bumps, coupons, refunds, Apple Pay and Google Pay, plus Stripe Tax. Every transaction produces an invoice, and you can raise manual invoices too, which helps when you watch the Revenue thresholds above. Coachful takes a 0% platform fee (since August 2026), so the only deduction is your processor's fee. Coaching agreements with e-signature go out before the first call and stay on the client record; see coaching contracts and payments.

Website, funnels, email and the AI assistant

The section-based website builder includes a blog, custom domain, SEO settings and 30 designed homepage templates, with an Import website option if you already have a site. Booking, application, lead-magnet and checkout funnels support Meta Pixel and UTM tracking, and email covers lists, broadcasts and multi-step sequences with triggers, delays, branching and A/B splits. Courses, downloads, community and video events are delivered inside the same client app. Michelle, the built-in AI assistant, works from your live practice data: she builds programs, drafts emails, summarises recorded sessions and briefs you before each call. Questions and planning are included in your Coachful membership; confirmed builds use AI credits. If you are working toward an ICF credential, Coachful counts coaching hours and distinct clients against ACC, PCC and MCC thresholds and exports an ICF client coaching log (ICF hour tracking).

Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. On every plan, you can open Create > We'll build it for you · FREE, describe what you want (a website, funnel, sales page, program, course outline, email sequence, form, lead quiz and more), attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files such as your logo, photos and existing copy, and the Coachful team builds it inside your own account, usually within about 24 hours. Nothing is invented: no fake credentials, testimonials or prices, and gaps are left for you to fill. One recent build: a leadership coach with a Squarespace renewal days away got one clean homepage with a repeated "talk with me" button. Another: a menopause and midlife health coach starting from nothing got a five-page site in sage and cream. It does not cover recording videos, logo design or ad management. Details are in our white-glove service guide.

Price. Coachful uses flat monthly plans. Lower plans cap the number of clients, Pro is unlimited, team plans add coach seats, and monthly plans cancel in one click. Current plans: (Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients). A free trial is available.

Limits to know. Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and is not meant for clinical record-keeping or insurance billing. There is no PayPal and no permanent free plan. The client app ships under the Coachful listing with your branding, not as your own App Store app. There is no Garmin, Fitbit, Whoop or Oura sync, no routing forms that pick a host from form answers, and no Salesforce or HubSpot integration. The affiliate program tracks links, clicks and revenue, but payouts are recorded manually.

Start here: take the free trial, then request the white-glove build for your website or first program so you are live within days rather than weeks.

2. Systeme.io: is it the best low-budget option?

For a coach in their first year who mainly needs a landing page, an opt-in and an email sequence, Systeme.io is the cheapest serious marketing suite here. Its free plan never expires and needs no card, as listed in October 2026.

Systeme.io homepage promoting its all-in-one marketing suite
Systeme.io's homepage in October 2026.

The suite covers funnels, email, courses, community, a blog and an affiliate program. The free plan includes 2,000 contacts, 3 funnels, 1 course, 1 blog, 1 custom domain, 1 automation rule and 1 email campaign. Startup costs $17/mo (5,000 contacts, 10 funnels, 5 courses), Webinar $47/mo and Unlimited $97/mo. Systeme.io charges 0% transaction fees on every plan; you pay only Stripe or PayPal processing. Trustpilot shows 4.9 from 8,696 reviews (seen October 2026), one of the strongest public ratings in this list.

The catch for coaches is the client side. An older profile of the product notes no native one-to-one scheduling tied to client records, and no habits or check-ins, and describes the community and course features as basic with no branded mobile app. You would add a booking tool, a contract tool and something for between-session accountability, which is how cheap stacks grow expensive.

Pick it over Coachful if your business right now is list-building and low-ticket digital products, you have almost no one-to-one clients yet, and a zero-cost start matters more than client delivery.

3. Kajabi: when does a course-first platform make sense?

Kajabi earns its place when your income comes from courses and a large audience rather than individual clients. A coach selling a recorded programme to thousands of buyers across Ireland and the UK is its natural customer.

Kajabi homepage promoting its course and community platform
Kajabi's homepage in October 2026.

It combines courses, community, website, funnels and email. As listed in October 2026, Basic is $179/mo ($143/mo annual) for 5 products and 2,500 contacts with 0 AI credits; Growth is $249/mo ($199/mo annual) for 50 products and 25,000 contacts; Pro is $499/mo ($399/mo annual). The standard trial is 14 days, and some features such as bulk contact import stay locked until you activate a paid plan. On fees: Kajabi Payments in the US costs 2.9% + $0.30 on Basic, and using a processor other than Kajabi Payments or PayPal adds an extra 0.5 to 2% Kajabi fee. Trustpilot: 3.4 from 2,347 reviews.

Coaching inside Kajabi is organised around products and communities, not per-client plans. There are no habits or daily client check-ins, so a one-to-one or small-group coach pays a premium for marketing power they may not use.

Pick it over Coachful if you are a course business first, you expect thousands of contacts, and you need Kajabi's specific product and marketing range more than per-client coaching tools.

4. Quenza: who should use a worksheet-led tool?

Think of a coach with a counselling or psychology background who structures work around exercises, reflections and psychoeducation. Quenza is built for that kind of practice: activities, worksheets, programs, chat and a client app.

Quenza homepage promoting its client activities and worksheets tool
Quenza's homepage in October 2026.

Pricing as listed in October 2026: Spark $25/mo ($20/mo annual) for 10 clients, Growth $50/mo ($40/mo annual) for 250 clients, Impact $125/mo for 400 clients, and Collective $160/mo for up to 3 professionals and 500 clients. The trial is 30 days with no card. Trustpilot shows 4.3 from 8 reviews.

The gaps are significant for running a business. Quenza does not process client payments today; invoicing and digital products are marked as planned. An older profile notes no scheduling or video calls. So you would still need a booking tool, a payment method and a website, which puts it closer to a delivery add-on than a full platform. Keep the scope line in mind as well: worksheets are coaching tools, and clinical work belongs with registered professionals.

Pick it over Coachful if you already have booking and payments sorted, and what you want is a large library of structured client exercises with generous client limits per price.

5. Practice Better: the fit for nutrition and wellness practitioners

Nutrition coaches, wellness practitioners and health coaches who want charting alongside scheduling tend to land on Practice Better. It is practice management first: scheduling, telehealth, charting, billing, programs and a client portal.

Practice Better homepage promoting its practice management platform
Practice Better's homepage in October 2026.

As listed in October 2026: Sprout is $0/mo for 3 clients; Starter $35/mo ($25/mo annual) for 10 clients; Professional $69/mo ($59/mo annual) for 300 clients; Plus $99/mo ($89/mo annual) for unlimited clients; Team $155/mo for 2 practitioners. Trials run 14 days on most paid plans and 30 days on Team. Evergreen programs, portal branding, a custom URL and SMS start on Plus. Trustpilot: 3.8 from 87 reviews.

An older profile notes no website builder or funnel pages, so marketing lives elsewhere. Only one practitioner per account below Team. For a wellness coach in Ireland, the charting language is helpful, but remember that coaching is not treatment: if a client's eating, energy or mood suggests a medical issue, refer them to their GP. Our health and wellness roundup and the health coach page go deeper.

Pick it over Coachful if your work is closer to nutrition practice than coaching, you want charting templates, and you are happy to run your website and email in another tool.

6. Paperbell: simple admin for solo one-to-one coaches

A life coach in Dublin who sells three-month packages to individuals, and nothing else, gets a tidy back office from Paperbell: booking, packages, payments, contracts, a client portal and a simple website, all for one price.

Paperbell homepage promoting its admin tool for solo coaches
Paperbell's homepage in October 2026.

There is a single plan at $97/mo ($80.83/mo annual) with unlimited clients, sessions, files and packages, as listed in October 2026. Paperbell states no additional transaction fees; Stripe or PayPal processing applies, and PayPal support may matter if many of your clients prefer it. A 30-day money-back guarantee is offered. A help-centre page from July 2026 describes a 7-day trial with the public site offline. Trustpilot shows 3.5 from 14 reviews.

According to an older profile, there are no courses, community, goal tracking or habit tracking, and no native mobile app (mobile browser only). That makes the per-month cost high for what a client experiences between sessions. If you are weighing it, our Paperbell alternatives page lays out the options.

Pick it over Coachful if you only coach one-to-one, never plan to run programs or groups, and need PayPal checkout.

7. CoachAccountable: action plans for executive coaches

Executive and leadership coaches working with Irish multinationals often report to a sponsor and track agreed actions. CoachAccountable is a coaching back office built around that: sessions, action plans, metrics, worksheets, courses, invoicing and agreements.

CoachAccountable homepage
CoachAccountable's homepage in October 2026.

Pricing scales by active client, as listed in October 2026: Starter $20/mo for 2 clients, Level 1 $40/mo for 5, Level 2 $70/mo for 10, Level 3 $120/mo for 20, Level 4 $250/mo for 50 and Level 5 $400/mo for 100. The trial is 30 days, no card, no limits. Trustpilot shows 4.8 from 47 reviews, a strong signal from its users.

The pricing model is the issue for group work: a 12-person cohort counts as 12 active clients. An older profile notes no native mobile app, no landing pages or website, and no marketing automation. See our CoachAccountable alternatives and the executive coaching guide.

Pick it over Coachful if you coach a small number of executives, value detailed metrics and action-plan reporting above all else, and have no plans for groups or marketing funnels.

8. Thinkific: a course platform with euro pricing

Thinkific suits a coach whose main product is a structured online course and who wants plan prices displayed in euro. Our capture of its pricing page shows euro figures, which is rare in this list.

In US dollars, as listed in October 2026: Start $109/mo ($82/mo annual), Grow $219/mo ($164/mo annual), Expand $499/mo ($374/mo annual), with a 30-day trial on every self-serve plan. Prices rose about 10% on 13 August 2026. Thinkific charges no transaction fee with its own payments, but third-party gateways carry an extra per-plan fee. A branded mobile app is a $199/mo add-on. Trustpilot: 1.8 from 868 reviews.

An older profile notes no built-in one-to-one scheduling, so coaching calls rely on external booking links, and there are no client habits, daily check-ins or per-client plans. For coaches, it is a course host plus community, not a practice system. Compare it with our course platform page.

Pick it over Coachful if you run a course business at scale, want euro-denominated plan pricing and do very little one-to-one work.

9. Mighty Networks: community-led memberships

If your offer is a paid membership community, say a network of Irish women founders meeting monthly, Mighty Networks is purpose-built for community, courses and events with Mighty-branded member apps.

Mighty Networks homepage promoting its community platform

As listed in October 2026: Launch $95/mo ($79/mo annual) with 3 hosts and livestreaming, Scale $215/mo ($179/mo annual), Growth $354/mo billed annually. The trial is 14 days with no card. Mighty takes a platform fee of 2% on Launch, 1% on Scale and 0.5% on Growth, plus Stripe processing. Your own branded apps are only on custom-priced Mighty Pro. Trustpilot: 3.3 from 219 reviews.

There is no one-to-one scheduling, invoicing or contracts, and no per-client habits or check-ins. For a coach who mixes private clients and a group, that means a second system. Our group coaching software page covers the alternative.

Pick it over Coachful if community is the whole product, you have no private clients, and you accept a percentage fee on sales.

10. Calendly: when all you need is a booking link

Calendly is the right tool for a coach who sells nothing online and only needs prospects to book a call. It does that one job very well.

Calendly homepage promoting its scheduling tool
Calendly's homepage in October 2026.

The free plan covers 1 event type and 1 calendar connection. Standard is $10 per seat per month billed annually, with up to 6 calendar connections and unlimited event types; Teams is $16 per seat annually. Monthly prices are not shown on the pricing page as captured. Calendly charges no documented fee on payments; you connect Stripe or PayPal. Trustpilot: 4.1 from 714 reviews.

Beyond scheduling there is nothing: no client records, notes, programs, habits, check-ins, contracts or invoicing. Most coaches who start with Calendly end up adding three or four more tools. Our scheduling software comparison covers coach-specific options.

Pick it over Coachful if you invoice clients manually, deliver everything live, and want the simplest possible booking page at little or no cost.

How do the features compare side by side?

What does each tool cost at 5, 15 and 40 clients?

Client-capped pricing changes the picture fast. This table uses the cheapest plan that covers each client count, as listed in October 2026, before VAT and processing fees.

The headline numbers hide what is missing. Systeme.io, Quenza, Thinkific, Mighty Networks and Calendly each need at least two more tools before a client can book, pay, sign and be coached between sessions. That is why the stack view below matters more.

What do three realistic coaching stacks cost per month?

A single platform usually costs less than the stack it replaces once you count every subscription. Here are three example stacks for the Limerick coach with 15 clients and a group program, using prices as listed in October 2026.

StackToolsMonthly cost (example)Logins for the client

The patchwork stacks also carry hidden costs: Mighty Networks takes 2% of sales on Launch, data lives in three places for GDPR requests, and you rebuild the client's progress by hand before each call. How would an Irish coach set this up in Coachful, step by step?

Here is an example setup for a life coach in Galway with 15 private clients and a six-week "Reset" group program, including what each client sees.

Coachful's client coaching hub on a laptop and the habits tracker on a phone on a kitchen table
The client side of Coachful: the demo coaching hub with the next session on the laptop and the habits tracker on the phone.
  1. Connect payments. Link your own Stripe account, set prices in euro, and turn on Stripe Tax if you are VAT-registered. Client sees: a clean checkout with card, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
  2. Build the booking page. Set availability, a 15-minute buffer, 24 hours' minimum notice and intake questions. Sync your Google or Outlook calendar. Client sees: times in their own time zone, then a confirmation and reminders.
  3. Add your coaching agreement. Include the scope line (coaching is not therapy or medical advice) and how you handle personal data. It is sent for e-signature before the first call. Client sees: a signing request, and the signed copy stays on their record.
  4. Create the Reset program. Start from a program template, add weekly goals, daily tasks, two or three habits and a morning and evening check-in. Client sees: a daily list in the app and a progress bar that fills as they go.
  5. Let enrolment create the cohort. When someone buys the program, Coachful creates the cohort group automatically. Schedule the weekly group call. Client sees: a group feed and chat with the other participants.
  6. Publish the website and funnel. Request the free white-glove build or pick one of the 30 homepage templates, then add a lead-magnet funnel and a three-email welcome sequence. Client sees: one site where every button leads to the next step.
  7. Prepare with Michelle. Before each session, read the AI briefing on that client's check-ins and habits, and watch the status flags for anyone going quiet. Client sees: a coach who already knows how their week went.

What mistakes should Irish coaches avoid when choosing software?

The most expensive mistake is buying tools one at a time and never adding up the total. Others are specific to working from Ireland.

  • Ignoring VAT until it is urgent. Track turnover by product from day one, and know that cross-border digital sales to EU consumers follow a separate €10,000 threshold. Ask an accountant how your offers are classified.
  • Forgetting the currency line. Vendors bill in dollars; your bank may add a conversion charge each month. Annual billing reduces the number of conversions.
  • Treating GDPR as the vendor's job. You are the controller. Know where client notes live, how to export them and how to delete them when a client asks.
  • Choosing per-client pricing for group work. A 12-person cohort can triple your bill on active-client plans.
  • Collecting clinical information you cannot protect. Keep intake forms to coaching questions and refer health concerns to a GP.
  • Paying for marketing power you will not use. A large course platform rarely suits a practice of 15 private clients.

What is the verdict for coaches in Ireland?

For most Irish coaches who run private clients and at least one program or group, Coachful is the best choice: one login, client support between sessions, payments in your own account with a 0% platform fee, and a free white-glove build that removes most of the setup work. Systeme.io is the low-budget marketing start, Kajabi and Thinkific suit course-first businesses, Practice Better suits wellness practitioners, Paperbell and CoachAccountable suit narrow one-to-one admin, Quenza suits worksheet-led practices, Mighty Networks suits pure communities, and Calendly suits a booking link and nothing else. You can compare more platforms on our comparison hub, or see how coaches in Canada and Australia approach the same choice.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best coaching software in Ireland?

For coaches who run private clients and programs, Coachful is our pick because it covers booking, payments, agreements, between-session delivery and marketing in one platform. If you only need a booking link, Calendly is enough; if you sell courses at scale, Kajabi or Thinkific may fit better.

Can I take payments in euro?

Coachful runs payments through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account, so you set prices in the currency your account supports and the money pays out to you. Most other tools here also use Stripe, though some, like Mighty Networks and Kajabi, add their own percentage depending on plan and processor.

Is Coachful GDPR-compliant for Irish clients?

Coachful is GDPR-ready and lets you export a full client data ZIP, including notes, check-ins, goals, habits, sessions and form responses. You remain the controller for your clients' data under GDPR, so you still need a privacy notice and sensible retention habits; the Data Protection Commission's guidance is the place to start.

Do I need to register for VAT as a coach in Ireland?

Revenue lists a €42,500 annual turnover threshold for persons supplying services only, with a separate €10,000 threshold for certain cross-border electronic services to EU consumers. Which applies depends on what you sell and to whom, so check with an accountant before you launch digital products abroad.

What is Coachful's free white-glove service?

On every plan, you describe what you want built, such as a website, funnel, program or email sequence, and attach up to 10 files and 8 reference links. The Coachful team builds it inside your account, usually within about 24 hours, without inventing testimonials, credentials or prices.

Can I try Coachful before paying?

Yes, a free trial is available, though there is no permanent no-cost plan. Current plans: (Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients).

Can I use coaching software for counselling or therapy clients?

None of the tools here is designed for clinical record-keeping, and Coachful is not HIPAA-certified. If your work moves into counselling, psychotherapy or medical territory, use systems designed for that and refer clients to a GP or registered professional where needed.

Which tool is cheapest for a brand-new coach?

Systeme.io's free plan and Calendly's free plan cost nothing, but neither handles client delivery. Compare that with the total of the tools you would add, or start a Coachful trial and see whether one membership replaces them.

Does Coachful work for executive coaches tracking ICF hours?

Yes. Coachful counts coaching hours and distinct clients against ACC, PCC and MCC thresholds and exports an ICF client coaching log with paid and pro bono hours. Combined with agreements and client records, it covers most of what an executive coach needs day to day.

Can I move my existing clients and content over?

Yes. During onboarding, clients, programs and content are imported for you, and the website builder has an Import website option. Coachful also exports your data as a ZIP if you ever leave.
