CoachAccountable vs Mighty Networks: Which Fits Coaches?

CoachAccountable vs Mighty Networks: Which Fits Coaches?

CoachAccountable vs Mighty Networks comes down to what you sell. CoachAccountable is a 1:1 coaching back office: sessions, action plans, metrics, worksheets, invoices and agreements, priced per active client. Mighty Networks is a community platform: a member feed, courses, events and livestreams in Mighty-branded apps, priced per plan with a platform fee on sales. If your business is private clients, CoachAccountable fits better. If it is a paid membership or cohort community, Mighty Networks fits better. If you run both, neither covers the whole job, and that is where a third option comes in.

This guide compares the two on pricing (as listed in October 2026), features, client experience and fit, then covers Coachful as the third option, including when it is not the right pick. We make Coachful, so we have kept the competitor facts to what each vendor documents and what public reviewers report. We have not run hands-on tests of either tool.

What is the short answer by use case?

Pick by the shape of your offer, not by feature count. The two tools barely overlap, so the honest answer is usually obvious once you name what clients pay you for.

  • Mostly 1:1 clients, fewer than 20 at a time: CoachAccountable is the closer fit of the two. It is built around the individual client relationship.
  • A paid community, membership or cohort with hundreds of members: Mighty Networks is the closer fit. Per-client pricing would get expensive fast at that size.
  • 1:1 clients plus a group program or community: neither covers both well. You would pay for two tools, or look at an all-in-one coaching platform such as Coachful.
  • You need a website, funnels and email to sell: CoachAccountable has no website, landing pages or marketing automation per our September 2026 profile, and Mighty Networks is built around community rather than sales pages, so you would add other tools.
  • You want your own branded app: Mighty Networks offers it only on custom-priced Mighty Pro. CoachAccountable has no native mobile app per our September 2026 profile.

How do CoachAccountable and Mighty Networks compare side by side?

The table below puts the two next to Coachful. Criteria, stated plainly: one login for the whole client journey, between-session delivery, total stack cost, and setup effort (including Coachful's free white-glove build).

Build your platform

How does CoachAccountable vs Mighty Networks pricing compare?

CoachAccountable charges by active clients, with every feature on every plan. Mighty Networks charges by plan tier and also takes a platform fee of 0.5% to 2% of sales on top of Stripe processing. Which is cheaper depends almost entirely on how many people you serve.

CoachAccountable pricing

As listed in October 2026, CoachAccountable's ladder starts at $20 a month for 2 active clients, then $40 for 5, $70 for 10, $120 for 20, $200 for 35, $250 for 50, $340 for 75 and $400 for 100. It keeps going: $2,000 for 500 and $4,000 for 1,000 active clients. Only active clients count, so a former client who finishes does not keep costing you. The pricing page says there are no annual discounts ("Nope!") and no add-ons to buy. The trial is 30 days, with no credit card and no limits. Unlimited coaches and admins are included at every tier.

Mighty Networks pricing

Mighty Networks lists Launch at $79 a month and Scale at $179 a month on its pricing cards; its help docs confirm those are annual-billing prices, with monthly billing at $95 (Launch) and $215 (Scale). Growth is $354 a month billed annually, and its monthly price is not published. Mighty Pro is custom-priced and is the only tier with your own branded iOS and Android apps. The platform fee is 2% on Launch, 1% on Scale and 0.5% on Growth and Mighty Pro, plus Stripe processing. The trial is 14 days, no credit card, and it includes Growth plan features.

A worked cost example

Here is an illustrative example, not a real customer. A coach has 20 private clients and runs a 40-person group program, so 60 people are active at once.

  • CoachAccountable: 60 active clients falls into the 75-client tier at $340 a month. Group members count as active clients, which is why public profiles flag per-client pricing as expensive for large groups. You would still need a separate website and email tool.
  • Mighty Networks: Launch at $79 a month (annual) holds the group well, but it has no 1:1 scheduling, invoicing or contracts, so the 20 private clients need another tool. If the coach sells $10,000 of memberships in a month (an example figure), the 2% Launch fee is $200 on top of Stripe.
  • Coachful: one plan covers both the private clients and the group, with booking, payments, community and a website included in your Coachful membership. The plan for 60 clients: Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients.

For a closer look at Mighty's tiers, see our Mighty Networks pricing breakdown.

What does CoachAccountable do well, and where does it fall short?

CoachAccountable is a mature back office for 1:1 coaching. Its strength is structure around each client: sessions, action plans, metrics, worksheets, courses, invoicing and agreements, all on every plan.

CoachAccountable homepage describing its coaching management software
CoachAccountable's homepage in October 2026.

What it documents and what reviewers report:

  • Full feature set at every tier. You do not unlock features by paying more; you pay for more active clients.
  • Unlimited coaches and admins. Useful for a small coaching firm that shares one account.
  • Clear data story. A per-client Export on the Clients tab exports full coaching history, bulk CSV import is supported, and previous clients keep lifetime access to their records.
  • Strong reviews. Trustpilot shows 4.8 from 47 reviews as listed in October 2026.

Where it falls short for many coaches:

  • Cost climbs with headcount. At 100 active clients you pay $400 a month, and there is no annual discount.
  • No native mobile app per our September 2026 profile.
  • No landing pages, website or marketing automation per our September 2026 profile, so selling happens elsewhere.
  • Not HIPAA compliant by its own statement (September 2026 profile).
  • No community feed. Group delivery is not its focus.

Pick it over Coachful if you coach a small number of private clients, want a long-established tool with per-client structure, already have a website and email tool you like, and never plan to run a large group program. Our Coachful vs CoachAccountable comparison goes deeper, and the CoachAccountable alternatives roundup covers other options.

What does Mighty Networks do well, and where does it fall short?

Mighty Networks is a community-first platform. Its strength is bringing members together around a feed, courses, events and livestreams, with Mighty's own iOS and Android apps on every plan.

Mighty Networks homepage promoting its community, courses and events platform
Mighty Networks' homepage in October 2026.

What its plan docs list:

  • Community, courses and events on Launch, with AI Cohost and People Magic, basic automations and a custom domain.
  • Livestreaming built in: 20 hours a month for up to 100 attendees on Launch, rising to 40 hours and 1,000 attendees on Growth.
  • Integrations and APIs on Scale: APIs and MCP access, Kit, Zapier and affiliate integrations, member export and tags.
  • Local currencies through Stripe, in hundreds of currencies.

Where it falls short for coaches:

  • No 1:1 scheduling, invoicing or contracts. Private coaching needs another tool.
  • No per-client habits, check-ins or private coaching plans. It tracks members, not individual progress.
  • A fee on every sale: 2% on Launch, 1% on Scale, 0.5% above that.
  • Own branded apps only on Mighty Pro, which is quote-based.
  • Limited export: member lists (with tags) export, but posts and content are not bulk-exportable per our September 2026 profile.
  • Mixed reviews: Trustpilot shows 3.3 from 219 reviews as listed in October 2026.

Pick it over Coachful if your business is a large community or membership where livestreams for hundreds of attendees, a deep moderator structure (up to 100 moderators on Growth) or a fully custom-branded app from Mighty Pro matter more than 1:1 coaching tools. Our Mighty Networks review covers it in full.

How do they compare feature by feature?

Feature by feature, they are opposites: CoachAccountable is deep on the individual client and thin on group and marketing, while Mighty Networks is deep on group and thin on the individual. Here is how each area plays out.

Scheduling and sessions

CoachAccountable handles sessions as part of its back office. Mighty Networks has events and livestreams but no 1:1 booking, so coaches typically add a separate scheduler. Coachful has booking pages with availability rules, buffers, minimum notice and time-zone detection, two-way Google, Apple/iCloud and Outlook sync, built-in video or auto-created Zoom, Meet or Teams links, and email reminders plus SMS and WhatsApp once messaging is enabled.

Payments, invoices and agreements

CoachAccountable includes invoicing and agreements; our older profile lists Stripe, Square and PayPal as processors. Mighty Networks sells memberships and courses through Stripe but has no invoicing or contracts. Coachful runs payments through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account (one-time, subscriptions, payment plans, coupons, order bumps, Apple Pay and Google Pay, Stripe Tax), issues an invoice per transaction, and sends coaching agreements with e-signature before the first call. Coachful does not support PayPal.

Between-session accountability

This is the work that happens between calls, and it is where results come from for many coaching clients. CoachAccountable offers action plans, metrics and worksheets. Mighty Networks has no per-client tracking. Coachful delivers multi-week programs with weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins, goals with progress bars and streaks, all inside the client's branded app.

Community and group programs

Mighty Networks wins this between the two, clearly. CoachAccountable has no community feed. Coachful includes a community feed, group chat, direct messages and video events, and creates cohort groups automatically when someone enrolls in a program. If you are moving a community, see Coachful vs Mighty Networks for coaching communities and our guide to group coaching software.

Courses

Both offer courses. Mighty Networks treats courses as a core product alongside the community. CoachAccountable includes them in its back office. Coachful has courses with modules, lessons, drip and completion tracking, plus downloads, videos, books and bundles, and 48 course templates with quizzes.

Marketing: website, funnels and email

Neither of the two is a marketing tool. CoachAccountable has no landing pages, website or marketing automation per our September 2026 profile. Mighty Networks gives you a custom domain and a Kit integration on Scale. Coachful includes a section-based website builder with 30 homepage templates, booking, application, lead-magnet and checkout funnels, and email broadcasts and multi-step sequences.

AI

Mighty Networks lists AI Cohost and People Magic on Launch and AI automations on Growth. CoachAccountable's pricing page does not list AI features. Coachful includes Michelle, an AI assistant that works from your live practice data: it builds programs, drafts emails, summarizes recorded sessions, briefs you before sessions and can give optional private feedback on your coaching against ICF Core Competencies 3 to 8. Questions and planning are included in your Coachful membership; confirmed builds and changes use AI credits.

Data, privacy and export

CoachAccountable exports full coaching history per client and keeps records available to former clients. Mighty Networks exports member lists on Launch and Scale per its plan docs. Coachful exports all client data as a ZIP (roster, notes, check-ins, goals, habits, sessions, form responses) and courses. None of the three should be used for clinical records: CoachAccountable states it is not HIPAA compliant, and Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and offers no BAA.

Which one looks like you?

Coachful builds your coaching website from a few answers, in a design chosen for your niche, with programs, booking and payments ready behind it.

Build your platform

What is the client experience like on each?

On CoachAccountable, clients log in to see their sessions, action items and worksheets, usually in a browser since there is no native app per our September 2026 profile. On Mighty Networks, members get a social feed and courses in the Mighty app, which feels like a community rather than a private coaching space.

The gap shows when a client is in both a 1:1 engagement and a group. With these two tools they would have two logins: one for private work, one for the community, and you would be checking two places to see how they are doing. That split is the problem an all-in-one platform is meant to fix.

In Coachful, a client sees their next session, program, habits, check-ins, documents, courses and community in one home, under your branding inside the Coachful app.

Which should you pick for which kind of coach?

Match the tool to the coach you are now and the one you expect to be in a year. Switching later costs time, especially from a community platform where posts do not bulk-export.

Is there a third option that beats both?

Yes, for coaches who run private clients and groups together, Coachful covers both jobs in one subscription. It is not the right answer for everyone, and we say where below.

Coachful's client overview on a laptop and a client's program view on a tablet in a home office
Coachful's client overview on a laptop beside a demo client's group program view on a tablet.

What Coachful is. Coachful is a coaching platform. One subscription covers booking, payments, contracts, program delivery with habits and check-ins, courses, a community, a website with funnels and email, and an AI assistant, with one login for the coach and one branded app for the client.

Who it is for. Coaches who deliver programs, not just sessions; solo coaches growing into a small team (Studio and Agency plans add coach seats with per-coach availability and staff permissions); and coaches replacing 4 to 6 tools.

What it does not do. It is not HIPAA-certified and has no BAA, so it is not for clinical records or insurance billing. There is no PayPal and no permanent free plan. The client app ships under the Coachful listing with your branding, not under your own App Store account. There is no Salesforce or HubSpot integration and no multi-stage sales deal board for large teams. It is not a course marketplace.

How to start. Start a free trial, then request the free white-glove build so your site, program or funnel is set up for you. Clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding.

Here is a short walkthrough of how programs are built and delivered in Coachful:

When Coachful beats both

  • You run 1:1 and group work. CoachAccountable charges for every group member as an active client; Mighty Networks cannot handle the private side. Coachful does both, with cohort groups created automatically on enrollment.
  • You want clients doing the work between sessions. Habits, morning and evening check-ins, goals and streaks are built in, and each client record shows a status of thriving, active, quiet or at risk.
  • You want fewer tools. Website, funnels, email, booking, payments and community share one login, so total stack cost is one subscription plus processing.
  • You want to keep more of each sale. Coachful has had a 0% platform fee since August 2026; you pay only Stripe or Razorpay processing.
  • You want help setting up. The free white-glove build means the team builds it inside your account.

When Coachful does not beat them

  • You need your own App Store app. Mighty Pro offers that; Coachful does not.
  • You run a very large livestream community. Mighty Networks documents livestreams for up to 1,000 attendees on Growth and extra viewers up to 10,000 as an add-on.
  • You only ever see two private clients. CoachAccountable Starter is cheap for that, and you may not need Coachful's wider toolset.
  • You need PayPal or HIPAA. Coachful offers neither.

Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service

Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. From Create, choose "We'll build it for you · FREE" and describe what you need: a website, funnel, sales page, program, course outline and written material, email sequence, link in bio, form, event or automation. You can attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files such as logos, photos and brand guides. The Coachful team builds it inside your own account, usually within about 24 hours. Nothing gets invented: no fake credentials, testimonials or prices, and gaps are left for you to fill. It does not include recording videos, logo design, ad management or ongoing marketing.

Recent anonymized examples: a somatic coach leaving Kajabi had the homepage and About page rebuilt and the contact form connected; a real-estate and money coach got a year-long cohort program with an application form, an eight-page site and a free nine-day bootcamp funnel; a leadership coach with a Squarespace renewal days away got one clean homepage with a repeated "talk with me" button. Read more about the free white-glove service.

How hard is it to switch from either tool?

Switching from CoachAccountable is mostly a client-history job; switching from Mighty Networks is mostly a member-and-content job. Both are manageable with a plan.

From CoachAccountable, use the per-client Export on the Clients tab to save each client's coaching history, and keep in mind that former clients keep lifetime access to their records there. From Mighty Networks, export your member list with tags (available on Launch and Scale per plan docs); posts and content are not bulk-exportable per our September 2026 profile, so plan to recreate key course material. Our step-by-step guide on migrating from Mighty Networks covers timing and member communication.

If you move to Coachful, clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding, and the white-glove build can recreate your site or funnel.

What is the final verdict?

For pure 1:1 coaching at small scale, CoachAccountable is a capable, well-reviewed back office. For a large paid community, Mighty Networks is the stronger pick. For coaches who combine private clients, programs and a group, and who want one login for themselves and their clients, Coachful is our recommendation, with the free white-glove build to get set up. Frequently asked questions

Is CoachAccountable or Mighty Networks better for life coaches?

It depends on how you deliver. A life coach seeing private clients will find CoachAccountable closer to the job, because Mighty Networks has no 1:1 scheduling, invoicing or contracts. A life coach running a large membership will find Mighty Networks closer. If you do both, an all-in-one platform avoids paying for two tools.

Which is cheaper, CoachAccountable or Mighty Networks?

Under about 10 active clients, CoachAccountable is cheaper ($20 to $70 a month as listed in October 2026). Above roughly 20 clients, Mighty Networks Launch ($79 a month annual, $95 monthly) usually costs less, but it adds a 2% fee on sales and cannot handle private coaching on its own.

Does Mighty Networks support 1:1 coaching?

Not as a coaching tool. Its plan docs cover community, courses, events and livestreams, with no 1:1 scheduling, invoicing, contracts or per-client habits and check-ins. Coaches usually pair it with a separate scheduler and payment tool.

Does CoachAccountable have a mobile app?

Per our September 2026 profile, CoachAccountable has no native mobile app, and clients use it in a browser. Mighty Networks offers its own Mighty-branded iOS and Android apps on every plan.

Do CoachAccountable and Mighty Networks offer free trials?

Yes. CoachAccountable offers 30 days with no credit card and no limits. Mighty Networks offers 14 days with no credit card, and the trial includes Growth plan features. Neither has a free plan.

Do either of them take a cut of my sales?

Mighty Networks takes a platform fee of 2% on Launch, 1% on Scale and 0.5% on Growth and Mighty Pro, plus Stripe processing. CoachAccountable's pricing page does not state a platform fee; processor fees apply. Coachful has a 0% platform fee, so you pay only Stripe or Razorpay processing.

Can I use either for health or therapy clients?

Not for clinical records. CoachAccountable states it is not HIPAA compliant, and Coachful is not HIPAA-certified either. Coaching is not treatment; clients with medical or mental health needs should be referred to a licensed professional who uses a clinical system.

What is Coachful's free white-glove service?

It is a build service included on every Coachful plan. You describe what you want (a website, funnel, program, course outline, email sequence and more), attach up to 8 links and 10 files, and the Coachful team builds it inside your account, usually within about 24 hours. It does not include video recording, logo design or ad management.

How much does Coachful cost compared with these two?

Coachful uses flat monthly plans: lower plans cap the number of clients, Pro is unlimited, and team plans add seats. Current plans: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients. There is a free trial, and monthly plans cancel in one click.
