Satori vs Stan Store: Which Fits Your Coaching in 2026?

Satori vs Stan Store: Which Fits Your Coaching in 2026?

Satori vs Stan Store is not really a contest between two versions of the same thing. Satori is coaching practice software: scheduling, a client portal, packages, invoices and contracts for coaches who sell 1:1 work. Stan Store is a link-in-bio storefront: a page that sells digital products, courses, memberships and paid calls to people who find you on social media. If your income comes from booked coaching clients, Satori fits the job better. If it comes from followers buying products, Stan Store fits better. Many coaches need both jobs done, and that is where the comparison gets interesting.

This guide compares the two on pricing, booking, payments, contracts, courses, email, client experience and data export, using what each vendor documents and what public reviewers report. We make Coachful, a coaching platform that covers both jobs in one login, so we include it as a third option and say plainly when it beats both and when it does not.

What is the short answer by use case?

Pick Satori for a 1:1 practice that runs on sessions and packages, and Stan Store for selling products to an audience. Neither one covers the full client journey from first follower to finished program, so coaches who need both usually end up stacking tools.

  • You coach 1:1 and sell packages of sessions: Satori. It is built around clients, bookings, invoices and agreements.
  • You sell a course, a template or a paid community to Instagram or TikTok followers: Stan Store. Checkout lives right in your bio link.
  • You are studying for a coaching credential and coach pro bono: Satori's Scholar plan, which is free for people studying for certification (you apply through a form).
  • You want email sequences, upsells and affiliates tied to product sales: Stan Store's Creator Pro plan, not the base Creator plan.
  • You run programs with weekly goals, habits and check-ins, plus marketing, courses and community: neither tool does all of it. That is the gap Coachful is built for, covered in the third-option section below.

For the deeper single-tool picture, see our Stan Store review and our ranking of Satori alternatives.

How do Satori and Stan Store compare side by side?

Satori manages clients; Stan Store sells to customers. The table below lines up what each vendor documents, with Coachful first as the reference point because it covers both columns. How we judge: one login for the whole client journey, delivery between sessions, total stack cost, and setup effort.

How much do Satori and Stan Store cost?

Stan Store costs $29 a month on Creator or $99 a month on Creator Pro, as listed in October 2026. Satori runs from a free Scholar plan up to $124 a month for Leader, with paid tiers capped by active clients; the dollar amounts below are as listed in September 2026, because Satori's page loaded its prices with JavaScript when we checked in October.

Thinking of launching your coaching business?

Answer a few questions and Coachful builds it around you: your website, programs, booking and payments. Ready in minutes.

Build your platform

Satori charges by active client. Only active clients count toward billing, which is fair when your roster fluctuates, but the tiers are hard caps. Essentials stops at 10 active paying clients, so a coach with 11 moves to Pro. The older profile also listed limits on programs and bookings per tier (3 programs and 60 bookings on Essentials), so a group-heavy coach can hit a booking cap before a client cap. Satori offers a refund if you request it within 30 days of signing up.

Stan Store charges by feature set, not by customer. Both plans allow unlimited products and customers. What you pay for is marketing: discount codes, upsells and order bumps, funnels, Afterpay and Klarna, affiliate management, contact import, email broadcasts and flows, and ad pixels are all on Creator Pro. If you plan to email your buyers, budget for the $99 plan. Our Stan Store pricing breakdown goes plan by plan.

What does the full stack cost?

The fair comparison is not plan against plan but stack against stack, because each tool leaves jobs undone. Here is an illustrative example, not a quote: a coach with 12 active 1:1 clients who also sells a self-paced course and emails a list.

SetupPlatform cost (example)What is still missing
CoachfulSolo: $49/month for up to 20 clientsNothing on this list; booking, contracts, course, email and website are included in your Coachful membership
Satori alonePro, $49/mo (Essentials caps at 10)Course platform, email tool, website or landing pages
Stan Store aloneCreator Pro, $99/mo (for email)Contracts, invoices, client records, program delivery
Satori plus Stan Store$49 + $99 = $148/moTwo logins, two customer lists, no habits or check-ins, no shared client record

Processing fees from Stripe or PayPal apply in every row and are left out. Your own numbers will differ; the point is that the two tools together cost more than either alone and still leave the client's between-session experience unbuilt.

How do booking and scheduling compare?

Satori is the stronger scheduler of the two because booking is its core job; Stan Store offers calendar booking as a product type for selling paid calls. Satori handles discovery-session booking on Essentials and ties bookings to clients and packages. Stan Store's booking sits inside your storefront: a follower picks a time slot, pays, and the call is on your calendar.

The difference shows up after the first session. In Satori, the booking belongs to a client with a history, an agreement and invoices. In Stan Store, the booking belongs to a customer who bought a product. If you sell single calls, that is fine. If you sell a 12-week package, you will want the client view. One limitation reported for Satori in our older profile: no native Zoom integration, so you add meeting links yourself.

For comparison, Coachful's booking pages include availability rules, buffers, minimum notice and time-zone detection, with two-way Google, Apple/iCloud and Outlook sync, built-in video or auto-created Zoom, Meet or Teams links, and email reminders plus SMS and WhatsApp reminders once messaging is enabled. More detail is on our scheduling software page.

How do payments, invoices and contracts compare?

Satori covers invoices and contracts; Stan Store covers checkout but has no contracts, invoices or client records. Both let you keep sales without a platform cut: Satori says it takes no charge on client payments, and Stan Store advertises 0% Stan fees, with standard Stripe or PayPal processing in both cases.

Satori accepts Stripe and PayPal and pairs payments with coaching agreements, which matters if you sell high-ticket packages and want a signed scope before the first call. The coaching contracts question is not a small one: an agreement that spells out cancellations, refunds and the limits of coaching protects both sides.

Stan Store wins on checkout features, but only on Creator Pro: upsells, order bumps, discount codes, limited-quantity offers and buy-now-pay-later through Afterpay and Klarna. These are conversion tools for products, and they suit low-priced templates and self-paced courses. There is no way to send an agreement for e-signature or issue a formal invoice to a corporate client.

If you coach executives or teams whose companies pay, invoices are not optional. That alone rules Stan Store out as the only tool for many business and executive coaches.

Which handles programs, courses and community better?

Stan Store wins on courses and community; Satori wins on packages tied to individual clients. Neither documents the daily tools clients use between sessions: habits, check-ins and streaks.

Stan Store includes an unlimited course builder and a community on the base Creator plan, as listed in October 2026. That is good value for a creator who sells a course to many buyers at once. The course and community are products in a store, though, not part of an individual client's plan.

Satori organizes coaching into packages and programs, with Pro adding group coaching and custom branding (older profile). Our September research found no courses or community, so a coach who wants a self-paced course alongside 1:1 work adds another platform.

The gap both leave is between-session delivery. A client who has a session on Tuesday and nothing until next Tuesday can easily drift. Weekly goals, daily tasks, habits and morning or evening check-ins are what keep a program moving, and that is the core of Coachful's program engine.

How do marketing, email and websites compare?

Stan Store is a marketing tool first; Satori is not a marketing tool. If you need people to find you and buy, Stan Store does more out of the box.

Stan Store's storefront is a mobile and desktop page made for a bio link. Creator includes lead magnets and email collection plus AutoDM for Instagram, so a comment can turn into a DM with a link. Creator Pro adds email broadcasts and flows, funnels covering up to 20 products, affiliate management, contact import and Meta, Google, Pinterest and TikTok pixels. What it does not give you is a multi-page website with a blog and SEO settings; it is one storefront.

Satori, by our older profile, has no landing pages. That means pairing it with a separate website builder and email tool, with more logins and more places for a lead to fall through.

Coachful sits between these: a section-based website builder with a blog, custom domain, SEO settings and 30 designed homepage templates, booking, application, lead-magnet and checkout funnels, a link-in-bio page that sells, email sequences with branching and A/B splits, and Instagram automations triggered by comments, DMs, story replies or mentions. See the coach website builder for the details.

What do clients experience on each platform?

On Stan Store, a client is a buyer: they tap your bio link, pay, and get access to what they bought. On Satori, a client is a coaching client with a portal for sessions, packages and documents, reached in a browser, since our older profile found no native mobile app.

Neither experience is wrong. They are built for different relationships. A Stan Store buyer of a downloadable workbook does not need a portal. A Satori client in a six-month leadership engagement does not need a storefront. The friction appears when the same person moves from one to the other: a follower buys your starter course on Stan Store, loves it, and books a package. Now they have one login for the course and a different one for coaching, and you have two records for one person.

Coachful handles this with one branded home for the client: your branding inside the Coachful app, showing their next session, pre-session tasks, programs, habits, goals with progress bars, courses and community. The client app ships under the Coachful listing with your branding, not under your own App Store account, which matters if a custom app listing is a must for you.

What about data export and switching later?

Stan Store exports customers and contacts to CSV, but course and community content has to be rebuilt elsewhere (older profile). Satori exports a coaching log for ICF credentialing; a general client-data export was not verified in our research. If you think you might switch, test the export during the trial. Our guides on migrating from Stan Store and migrating from Satori list what moves and what does not.

Which one looks like you?

Coachful builds your coaching website from a few answers, in a design chosen for your niche, with programs, booking and payments ready behind it.

What do public reviewers say?

Stan Store has far more public reviews: Trustpilot showed 4.7 from 2,205 reviews on October 25, 2026. Satori's Trustpilot page existed with zero reviews on the same date; our older profile recorded a Capterra 4.5 from 13 reviews. A small review count is not a bad sign, but it gives you less to go on, so lean on the 15-day trial.

Ratings measure satisfaction among each tool's own users, who chose it for its own job. A creator praising Stan Store's checkout tells you little about whether it will hold a coaching practice together.

Which should you pick for your kind of coaching?

Match the tool to where your revenue comes from and how your clients are served after they pay. The table below is our recommendation by coach type.

Is there a third option that covers both jobs?

Yes. Coachful is built for coaches who would otherwise run Satori for clients and Stan Store for sales, and it beats both when you deliver programs, not just sessions or products. It does not beat them in every case, and we say where below.

A client program view and an invoice table shown on two screens on a coach's table
Coachful's client Programs view on a laptop beside its Payments tab with demo invoices on a tablet.

What Coachful is. Coachful is a coaching platform. One subscription covers booking, payments, contracts, program delivery with habits and check-ins, courses, a community, a website with funnels and email, and an AI assistant, with one login for the coach and one branded app for the client. It suits coaches who deliver programs, solo coaches growing into a small team, and coaches replacing 4 to 6 tools. The company is based in Tallinn, Estonia, and has a Trustpilot rating of 4.5 from 21 reviews.

Where it beats Satori. Satori manages the practice; Coachful manages the practice and the program. Coachful adds multi-week programs with weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins and streaks, plus courses, community, a website, funnels and email that Satori does not document. The client record shows goals, check-ins, habits, notes, intake answers, tags, payments and sessions, and flags each client as thriving, active, quiet or at risk. For ICF candidates, Coachful counts coaching hours and distinct clients against ACC, PCC and MCC thresholds and exports a client coaching log with paid and pro bono hours; see ICF hour tracking.

Where it beats Stan Store. Stan Store sells; Coachful sells and then delivers. You get funnels, a link-in-bio page that sells, order bumps, coupons, payment plans and email sequences, and the buyer lands in the same client record where you send a coaching agreement, book sessions and run their program. Instagram automations can reply to a comment keyword with a booking link, lead magnet or checkout, and the person lands in the same lead and client records.

What else is included in your Coachful membership. Michelle, the built-in AI assistant, works from live practice data to build programs, draft emails and content, summarize recorded sessions and brief you before each session; questions and planning are included, and confirmed builds and changes use AI credits. There are more than 40 ready-to-film program templates, 48 course templates with quizzes and about 25 funnel templates. Payments run through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account with a 0% Coachful platform fee. Team plans add coach seats with per-coach availability and staff permissions.

Here is a walkthrough of how programs are built and delivered in Coachful:

Where Coachful does not beat them.

  • PayPal: Satori and Stan Store both accept PayPal. Coachful does not; it uses Stripe or Razorpay.
  • A plan at zero cost: Satori's Scholar plan costs nothing for certification students. Coachful has no permanent plan at zero cost, only a trial.
  • Buy now, pay later: Stan Store's Creator Pro lists Afterpay and Klarna. Coachful offers payment plans, Apple Pay and Google Pay, not those two.
  • Pure product selling: if you only sell digital downloads to an audience and never coach anyone directly, Stan Store's simpler storefront may be all you need.
  • Clinical work: Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and offers no BAA, so it is not for clinical record-keeping or insurance billing. Coaching is not therapy or medical treatment; if a client's needs are clinical, refer them to a licensed professional.
  • Your own App Store listing: clients use your branding inside the Coachful app, not an app published under your own account.
  • Wearables and big sales teams: no Garmin, Fitbit, Whoop or Oura sync, no multi-stage deal board, and no Salesforce or HubSpot integration.

Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. From Create, choose "We'll build it for you · FREE", describe what you want, and attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files such as logos, photos, brand guides or copy. The Coachful team builds it inside your own account, usually within about 24 hours: a website, a funnel, a sales page, a program, a course outline, an email sequence, a link in bio, a lead quiz or an automation. Nothing gets invented, so gaps such as testimonials or prices are left for you to fill. In one recent build, a business mentor for beauty professionals got a 12-week mentorship sales page, a start-up-guide funnel and rewritten follow-up emails. It does not include recording videos, logo design or ad management. Read more about the white-glove build service.

How do you decide in a week?

Use the trials to test your real workflow, not the demo. Both vendors offer one (Satori 15 days, Stan Store 14), which is enough for a structured test.

  1. Write down your revenue mix. What share comes from 1:1 packages, group programs and digital products? The biggest share points to the tool.
  2. Count your active clients. On Satori, 10 is the Essentials ceiling and 50 the Pro ceiling (older profile). Plan for six months of growth, not today's roster.
  3. List what you would still need. Website, email, course host, contracts, habit tracking. Price each add-on and add it to the plan cost.
  4. Run one client end to end. From the first click to a booked session, a signed agreement, payment and the week after the session. Note every time you switch tools.
  5. Export your data. Check what comes out before you commit.

If step 4 has you logging into three places, that is the moment to look at one platform. Our comparison hub and coaching software overview help with that next step.

Frequently asked questions

Is Satori or Stan Store better for coaches?

Satori is better for coaches whose income comes from 1:1 clients and packages, because it handles scheduling, a client portal, invoices and contracts. Stan Store is better for coaches who sell digital products, courses and paid calls to a social audience. Coaches who need both often look at a platform that does both in one login.

How much does Stan Store cost in 2026?

As listed in October 2026, Stan Store's Creator plan costs $29 a month or $300 a year, and Creator Pro costs $99 a month or $948 a year. Both have a 14-day trial, and the first month is charged when the trial ends. Stan Store takes 0% of sales; Stripe or PayPal processing fees apply.

How much does Satori cost?

As listed in September 2026, Satori's Essentials plan was $33 a month for up to 10 active paying clients, Pro $49 a month and Leader $124 a month, with two months free on annual billing. The Scholar plan is free for people studying for a coaching certification. There is a 15-day trial without a card and a refund if you ask within 30 days of signing up.

Does Stan Store have contracts or invoices?

No. Stan Store does not offer contracts, invoices or client records, and it is not a CRM. Coaches who need signed agreements or invoices for corporate clients pair it with another tool or use a coaching platform that includes them.

Can Satori sell courses or run a community?

Our research found no courses, community or landing pages in Satori. It focuses on the practice side: scheduling, client portal, packages, invoices and contracts. Coaches who want a course alongside 1:1 work usually add a separate course platform.

Does either tool track habits or daily check-ins?

Neither vendor documents habit tracking, daily check-ins or streaks. Stan Store delivers products, and Satori organizes sessions and packages. Coachful's programs include weekly goals, daily tasks, habits and morning and evening check-ins.

Which is better for ICF credentialing?

Satori offers a coaching-log export for ICF credentialing, according to our older profile, and its Scholar plan suits coaches still studying. Stan Store has no hour tracking. Coachful counts hours and distinct clients against ACC, PCC and MCC thresholds and exports an ICF client coaching log with paid and pro bono hours.

Can I use Satori and Stan Store together?

Yes, and some coaches do: Stan Store for the bio link and product sales, Satori for clients who book packages. The cost is two subscriptions, two logins and two customer lists, and a buyer who becomes a client has separate records in each. In our worked example the pair came to $148 a month before processing fees.

What is Coachful's white-glove service?

It is a build service included on every Coachful plan at no cost. You describe what you want, such as a website, funnel, program or email sequence, attach links and files, and the Coachful team builds it inside your account, usually within about 24 hours. It does not include recording videos, logo design or ad management.

Does Coachful support PayPal like Satori and Stan Store?

No. Coachful takes payments through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account, with Apple Pay and Google Pay, payment plans and subscriptions. If PayPal is essential for your clients, Satori or Stan Store keeps that option.
