WithMe vs Trainerize (2026): Pricing, Features, Verdict

WithMe vs Trainerize comes down to what you sell. WithMe is a creator hub: one flat plan for selling courses, memberships, communities, digital products and coaching calls, with email and Instagram comment-to-DM built in. ABC Trainerize is a personal-training app: workouts, habits, nutrition tracking and messaging, priced by how many clients you train, with booking, payments and video sold as add-ons. If your business is content and audience, WithMe fits better. If your business is writing training programs for paying clients, Trainerize fits better. If you need both, neither covers the whole job on its own.
We make Coachful, a coaching platform that sits between the two, so read our recommendation with that in mind. This guide compares WithMe and Trainerize on price, features and client experience using what each vendor documents on its own pages as listed in October 2026, then covers when Coachful is the better third option and when it is not.
What is the short answer for WithMe vs Trainerize?
Pick WithMe if you are a creator who sells to an audience; pick Trainerize if you are a trainer who programs workouts for individual clients. Here is the split by use case:
- You sell courses, memberships or digital downloads to followers: WithMe. Trainerize has no course builder, website, funnels or email marketing.
- You write custom workout programs and track sets, meals and macros: Trainerize. WithMe's documented features center on products, community and messaging, not workout logging.
- You grow on Instagram and want comments to turn into DMs: WithMe, which lists Instagram comment-to-DM in its single plan.
- You want wearable data from clients: Trainerize, which lists app and wearable integrations from its Grow plan.
- You run a gym or studio with several locations: Trainerize Studio Plus. WithMe has no per-seat pricing or multi-coach tools.
- You coach clients through multi-week programs and also sell courses, run booking and take payments: look at a coaching platform such as Coachful, which puts programs, check-ins, booking, payments, courses and a website in one login.
For a deeper look at each vendor on its own, see our WithMe review and our Trainerize review.

How much do WithMe and Trainerize cost?
WithMe costs $25 a month billed yearly ($300 a year) for its one plan. Trainerize starts free for one client, then charges by client count, from $9 a month billed yearly for two clients, with paid add-ons for booking, payments and video.
WithMe pricing
WithMe sells a single plan called the All-in-One Creator Hub. Every source agrees on the annual price: $25 a month, billed as $300 a year. The monthly price is where it gets confusing. WithMe's pricing page shows $29 a month, while WithMe's own help center says new trials started on or after August 11, 2026 pay $49 a month on monthly billing. Until WithMe reconciles the two, assume the monthly plan may cost $49 and check at checkout.
The other terms, as listed in October 2026:
- Trial: 14 days, credit card required.
- Transaction fees: 0% WithMe commission; you pay Stripe's processing fees. PayPal works through Stripe.
- Extras without a published price: a custom-branded app and AI credits.
- Team: extra people get admin logins, but there is no per-seat pricing or multi-coach tooling.

Our full breakdown is in WithMe pricing.
Trainerize pricing
Trainerize prices by client seats. Its pricing page contradicts itself in places: the plan cards show $9, $23 and $248, which match the stated 10% annual discount, while the FAQ says Grow "starts at $10", Pro "starts at $25" and Studio Plus "starts at $275". The cleanest reading is that the lower numbers are annual and the higher ones monthly.
- Basic: free, 1 client. Mobile app, workouts, basic messaging, habit and lifestyle coaching.
- Grow: $10/mo monthly or $9/mo yearly, 2 clients. Adds the AI Workout Builder, custom programs, meal and macro tracking, a Trainerize.me profile, and app and wearable integrations.
- Pro (5 clients): $25/mo monthly or $23/mo yearly. Adds custom exercise videos, welcome emails, consultation forms, advanced messaging and challenges. Pro tiers also exist at 15, 30, 50, 75, 100 and 200 clients, but their prices are no longer printed. In September 2026 the page listed Pro 15 at $50, Pro 30 at $79 and Pro 50 at $135 a month.
- Studio Plus: from $275/mo ($248 on the annual card) for 500 or more clients and 5+ locations, through sales. Includes all add-ons and a studio-level branded app.
Below Studio Plus, the add-ons are where the bill grows:
- Business (scheduling, referrals, selling products, premium content): $25/mo
- Stripe Integrated Payments: $10/mo
- Video Coaching: $10/mo (50 hours of video calls and 100 hours of streaming a month)
- Advanced Nutrition Coaching: $20/mo on Grow, Pro 5 and Pro 15; $45/mo on Pro 30 to 200
- Custom Branded App on Pro: $169 one-time setup
- FitMetrics: from $6 per client
The trial is generous: 30 days with unlimited clients and no credit card, after which the account drops to the free one-client plan. Add-ons are not included during the trial.

More detail in our Trainerize pricing guide.
What a 15-client coach would pay
Plan prices only tell part of the story. Here is an illustrative example for a coach with 15 active clients who needs booking, card payments and video calls. Trainerize figures use the September 2026 Pro 15 price, since the current one is not printed.
| Platform | Base plan | Add-ons for booking, payments, video | Example monthly total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful | Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients | Included in your Coachful membership | Plan price plus Stripe or Razorpay processing |
| WithMe | $25/mo yearly, or $29 to $49 monthly | Booking and payments in the plan; calls run on Google Meet or Zoom | About $25 to $49 plus Stripe fees |
| Trainerize | Pro 15: $50/mo (September 2026 figure) | Business $25 + Stripe $10 + Video $10 | About $95 plus Stripe fees; about $115 with Advanced Nutrition |
WithMe is cheaper on paper, but it is not doing the same job: it has no documented workout logging. Trainerize does that job well, and you pay per client and per module as you grow. The total depends on which gaps you have to fill with other tools.
What is WithMe built to do?
WithMe is a creator platform from FitWith LTD for selling knowledge products to an audience: courses, memberships, communities, digital products, email and Instagram comment-to-DM, in one plan.

Two of its product types matter most to coaches, and they work differently:
- Coaching Call products book sessions through Google Calendar with Google Meet, or through Zoom. Clients pay before they choose a time.
- 1:1 Coaching products are ongoing coaching by messages, goals and resources. They do not include call booking.
That split means a coach who wants both regular calls and between-call support sets up two kinds of product. Clients use the WithMe-branded iOS and Android app; your own branded app is a paid extra with no published price. AI features run on credits that are also bought separately at an unpublished price. WithMe does not document a client data export, so ask before you commit if portability matters to you.
On Trustpilot, WithMe showed 3.8 from only 2 reviews in October 2026, which is too few to tell you much either way. If WithMe is on your shortlist next to other creator tools, see WithMe vs Kajabi and WithMe vs Stan Store.
What is Trainerize built to do?
ABC Trainerize is a fitness coaching app for personal trainers and gyms: you build workout programs, clients log them in the app, and you track habits, nutrition and progress, with messaging in between.

Its strengths are programming and training data. The Grow plan adds an AI Workout Builder, custom programs and meal and macro tracking, plus app and wearable integrations. Pro adds your own exercise videos, consultation forms, welcome emails, advanced messaging and challenges. At the top, Studio Plus covers multi-location businesses with group video calls, recipes and meals, referral links, prospect booking, onboarding, an API and a studio-level branded app.
What it leaves out is the business around the training. Trainerize has no course builder, no website or funnels and no email marketing. Scheduling, selling products, payments, video and advanced nutrition are paid add-ons below Studio Plus. Client data export, per the September 2026 profile, leaves out messages, photos and attachments. Trainerize showed 3.1 on Trustpilot from 100 reviews in October 2026.
If Trainerize is the anchor of your shortlist, our Everfit vs Trainerize comparison and Trainerize alternatives list cover other fitness-first apps.
How do the features compare, one by one?
Trainerize wins on workouts, nutrition and wearables; WithMe wins on courses, community and marketing; neither gives you programs, booking, payments, courses and a website together without add-ons or extra tools.
| Feature | Coachful | WithMe | Trainerize |
|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful | All features below in one membership | One plan, some paid extras | Plan by client count, plus add-ons |
| Multi-week programs with daily tasks | Yes, with weekly goals, habits and check-ins | 1:1 Coaching by messages, goals and resources | Custom training programs from Grow |
| Habit tracking and check-ins | Habits, morning and evening check-ins, streaks | Goals documented; habits not documented | Habit and lifestyle coaching on every plan |
| Exercise library | Illustrated exercises; you attach your own demo videos | Not documented | Yes; custom exercise videos from Pro |
| Wearable sync | No | Not documented | App and wearable integrations from Grow |
| Booking and calendar sync | Two-way Google, Apple and Outlook sync, buffers, reminders | Google Calendar or Zoom; pay before booking | Business add-on |
| Video calls | Built-in video, or auto-created Zoom, Meet or Teams links | Google Meet or Zoom | Video Coaching add-on |
| Payments | Own Stripe or Razorpay; plans, coupons, order bumps | Stripe, 0% commission | Stripe Integrated Payments add-on |
| Contracts with e-signature | Yes | Not documented | Consultation forms from Pro |
| Courses | Modules, lessons, drip, completion tracking | Yes | No |
| Community | Feed, group chat, cohort groups, video events | Yes | Challenges from Pro |
| Website and funnels | Website builder, blog, custom domain, funnels | Not documented as a full site builder | No |
| Email marketing | Broadcasts and multi-step sequences | Yes | Welcome emails from Pro only |
| Instagram automation | Comment, DM, story reply and mention triggers | Comment-to-DM | No |
| Team seats | Studio and Agency plans | Admin logins only | Studio Plus for multi-location |
Workouts and programming
Trainerize is the clear choice here between the two. Building programs, attaching exercise videos and having clients log sessions in the app is what it was made for, and the AI Workout Builder speeds up first drafts. WithMe's public material does not describe a workout builder or set logging, so a trainer using it would program elsewhere and deliver files or videos through a course.
Nutrition
Trainerize includes meal and macro tracking from Grow, and sells Advanced Nutrition Coaching as an add-on ($20 a month on smaller plans, $45 on Pro 30 and above). WithMe does not document nutrition tracking. If you coach nutrition first, our list of Trainerize alternatives for nutrition coaches goes deeper.
Booking and calls
WithMe includes booking in its plan through Coaching Call products: the client pays, then picks a time in your Google Calendar, and the call runs on Google Meet or Zoom. Trainerize puts scheduling inside the $25 Business add-on and video inside the $10 Video Coaching add-on, so a trainer who meets clients live pays for both.
Payments
WithMe takes 0% commission and runs payments through Stripe, which also lets clients pay with PayPal. Trainerize needs the $10 Stripe Integrated Payments add-on for in-app payments, with Stripe fees on top.
Courses, community and marketing
This is WithMe's home ground. Courses, memberships, communities, digital products, email and Instagram comment-to-DM are all part of the single plan. Trainerize has none of these except challenges and welcome emails on Pro, so a trainer who wants to sell a course or grow an email list adds separate tools.
Teams
Trainerize scales to multi-location studios through Studio Plus. WithMe lets extra people log in as admins but has no per-seat pricing or tools for several coaches with their own clients.
What does the client experience look like in each app?
On Trainerize, clients open a training app: today's workout, logging, habits, meals and messages. On WithMe, clients open a creator app: courses, community, products and messages with you. Both are branded with the vendor's name unless you pay for a custom app.
A Trainerize client's day revolves around the workout. They see the session you assigned, log sets, check off habits, track meals on plans that include it, and message you. If they wear a tracker, data can flow in from Grow upward. The experience suits someone hiring a trainer to tell them what to lift.
A WithMe client's experience revolves around content and conversation. They consume a course, join a community, book a call they have already paid for, or work with you by message on a 1:1 Coaching product. The experience suits someone who joined from your Instagram and wants access to you and your material.
Branding works differently too. WithMe clients use the WithMe app unless you buy a custom-branded app at an unpublished price. Trainerize clients use the Trainerize app unless you pay the $169 one-time setup for a custom branded app on Pro, or reach Studio Plus.
A note on scope for both: fitness and nutrition coaching is not medical care. Before starting anyone on a program, ask about heart conditions, chest pain, dizziness, recent surgery, pregnancy, eating disorders and medications, and refer clients to a doctor or registered dietitian when any of those come up. Neither app replaces that clearance.
Which should you pick: WithMe or Trainerize?
Match the tool to how you earn: audience products point to WithMe, per-client training points to Trainerize.
Pick WithMe if
- Most of your revenue comes from courses, memberships, downloads or a paid community.
- Instagram is your main channel and comment-to-DM would save you hours.
- You want one flat price that does not rise with each client.
- Your coaching is mostly paid calls and messaging, not tracked training.
Pick Trainerize if
- You write workout programs and want clients logging every set in an app.
- You track nutrition, macros or wearable data.
- You start small and want a free one-client plan and a 30-day trial without a card.
- You run a gym or studio across several locations.
Look beyond both if
- You coach clients through structured multi-week programs with habits and check-ins, and also want to sell courses and run a website.
- Your Trainerize bill keeps growing with add-ons for booking, payments and video.
- You use WithMe for selling but run client delivery in spreadsheets or chat threads.
Is there a third option that covers both? Coachful
Yes. Coachful is a coaching platform that covers program delivery (WithMe's gap) and the business around it (Trainerize's gap) in one membership, with one login for you and one branded app for your clients.

What Coachful is. One subscription covers booking, payments, contracts, multi-week programs with habits and check-ins, courses, a community, a website with funnels and email, and an AI assistant. It is built for coaches who deliver programs rather than only sessions, solo coaches growing into a small team, and coaches replacing four to six tools. The company is based in Tallinn, Estonia, and has a Trustpilot rating of 4.5 from 21 reviews.
Where Coachful beats both
- Programs that run between sessions. Multi-week programs with weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins, goals with progress bars and streaks. Each client record shows goals, check-ins, habits, notes, intake answers, payments and sessions, with a status of thriving, active, quiet or at risk.
- Training and nutrition for fitness coaches. The Fitness & Nutrition pack adds a workout builder with illustrated exercises, supersets, circuits, AMRAP, EMOM, intervals and tempo, client logging with set history and PRs, calorie and macro targets, meal plans, recipes, barcode scanning, private progress photos and measurements, weekly check-ins and private form-check video with timestamped comments.
- Booking without an add-on. Booking pages with availability rules, buffers and minimum notice, two-way Google, Apple and Outlook sync, built-in video or auto-created Zoom, Meet or Teams links, email reminders plus SMS and WhatsApp reminders once messaging is on, paid sessions and session credits.
- Payments to your own account. Your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account, with one-time payments, subscriptions, payment plans, order bumps, coupons, refunds, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Stripe Tax. Coachful takes a 0% platform fee; you pay only processing.
- Selling and marketing. Courses with drip and completion tracking, a community with cohort groups created on enrollment, a website builder with 30 homepage templates and a blog, booking and checkout funnels, email sequences, a social planner, and Instagram automations on comments, DMs, story replies and mentions.
- Contracts. Coaching agreements with e-signature, sent before the first call and stored on the client record.

This walkthrough shows how a program is built and delivered to clients:

For websites, you can start from one of the designed templates, such as this performance layout, or import an existing site.

Michelle, the built-in AI assistant, works from your live practice data: it builds programs, drafts emails and content, summarizes recorded sessions and briefs you before each one. Questions and planning are included in the membership; confirmed builds and changes use AI credits. If you want something clients can talk to between sessions, the AI Coach is an AI version of you that selected clients can chat with, configured by you. More on the AI coaching assistant page.
Where WithMe or Trainerize still wins
Coachful is not the right pick for everyone, and here is where it falls short of these two:
- Wearables: Coachful has no Garmin, Fitbit, Whoop or Oura sync, and Apple Health sync is not publicly available. If wearable data drives your coaching, Trainerize is stronger.
- Stock exercise videos: Coachful's library is illustrated, and you attach your own demo videos. It does not ship stock exercise footage.
- PayPal: Coachful does not support PayPal. WithMe offers it through Stripe.
- Zero-cost tier: Coachful has no permanent no-cost plan. Trainerize does, for one client.
- Your own App Store listing: the client app ships under the Coachful listing with your branding, not under your own App Store account.
- Large gyms: Trainerize Studio Plus is built for 500+ members across several locations. Coachful's team plans suit a small team of coaches.
- Clinical work: Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and does not sign a BAA, so clinical records and insurance billing belong in a clinical system.
What does Coachful cost?
Coachful uses flat monthly plans. Lower plans cap the number of clients, Pro is unlimited, and team plans add coach seats. Monthly plans cancel in one click, and there is a free trial (current plans: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients). For an unlimited roster, the entry point is Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients. Full details are on the plans page.
How to start
Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. On every plan, you can ask the Coachful team to build things for you inside your own account. From Create > We'll build it for you, describe what you need: a website, funnel, sales page, program, course outline and written material, email sequence, form, link in bio, lead quiz, webinar or automation. Attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files such as logos, photos, brand guides and copy. The team usually delivers within about 24 hours, and nothing is invented: no fake credentials, testimonials or prices, with gaps left for you to fill. It does not cover recording videos, logo design, ad management or ongoing marketing.

Recent builds give a sense of the range. A menopause and midlife health coach starting from nothing got a five-page site in sage and cream, with every button leading to a free 20-minute consultation. A business mentor for beauty professionals got a 12-week mentorship sales page, a start-up-guide funnel and rewritten follow-up emails. A real-estate and money coach got a year-long cohort program with an application form, an eight-page site and a nine-day bootcamp funnel. Read more about the white-glove service.

To start: open a free trial, then send a build request for your program or site. Clients, programs and content are also imported for you during onboarding, and you can export your full client data as a ZIP at any time. Fitness coaches can see the setup on Coachful for fitness coaches.
How do you switch from Trainerize or WithMe without losing clients?
Export what each tool lets you export, rebuild your programs and products in the new platform, then move clients in a planned window with a clear message about the new app.
- Export first. Trainerize's client export, per the September 2026 profile, does not include messages, photos or attachments, so save anything you need from those by hand. WithMe does not document an export, so ask its support what you can download.
- Rebuild before you announce. Set up programs, check-ins, courses and payment links in the new tool so clients arrive to something finished.
- Move payments carefully. If clients pay by subscription through Stripe, plan the switch around billing dates so nobody is charged twice.
- Tell clients what changes for them. Which app to download, where their history went and when the old app stops.
Our step-by-step guide on how to migrate from Trainerize covers each step, and the WithMe alternatives roundup lists tools worth a look if you leave WithMe.
What is our verdict on WithMe vs Trainerize?
WithMe is the better buy for creators who sell to an audience; Trainerize is the better buy for trainers who program individual clients. Coachful is the better buy for coaches who need both program delivery and the business around it in one place.
WithMe's single plan is good value at the annual price, but confirm the monthly price at checkout and know that workout and nutrition tracking are not part of what it documents. Trainerize is strong for training delivery, starts free, and has the most generous trial of the three, but the add-ons for booking, payments, video and nutrition add up as your roster grows. If you find yourself pairing either one with three or four other tools, compare the total against one Coachful membership.
Frequently asked questions
Is WithMe or Trainerize cheaper?
WithMe is cheaper for most coaches with more than a handful of clients, at $25 a month billed yearly for its one plan. Trainerize is free for one client and $9 a month yearly for two, but Pro tiers rise with client count and add-ons for booking, payments and video add $45 a month. They do different jobs, so compare the cost of the full stack you need.
What does WithMe cost per month?
WithMe's annual price is $25 a month, billed as $300 a year. The monthly price is disputed on WithMe's own site: the pricing page shows $29, while its help center says new trials since August 11, 2026 pay $49 a month. Check the price at checkout before you subscribe monthly.
Can I track workouts in WithMe?
WithMe does not document a workout builder, set logging or nutrition tracking. Its coaching features are paid calls and 1:1 coaching by messages, goals and resources. If tracked training is central to your coaching, Trainerize or a platform with a workout builder fits better.
Does Trainerize have courses or a website?
No. Trainerize has no course builder, website, funnels or email marketing. Pro adds welcome emails and challenges, and the Business add-on covers scheduling, selling products and premium content.
Which has the better free trial?
Trainerize offers 30 days with unlimited clients and no credit card, then drops to the free one-client plan. WithMe offers 14 days and requires a card. Coachful offers a free trial too.
Can clients pay with PayPal?
On WithMe, yes, because PayPal works through its Stripe checkout. Trainerize runs in-app payments through its paid Stripe add-on. Coachful does not support PayPal; it uses your own Stripe or Razorpay account.
Can I have my own branded app?
On WithMe, a custom-branded app is a paid extra with no published price. On Trainerize Pro, a custom branded app costs a one-time setup fee, and Studio Plus includes a studio-level app. Coachful gives clients your branding inside the Coachful app, not a separate App Store listing.
What is Coachful's free white-glove service?
On every plan, the Coachful team builds things inside your account from a request you send: a website, funnel, program, course outline, email sequence, form or automation. You can attach up to 8 links and 10 files, builds usually arrive within about 24 hours, and nothing is invented on your behalf. It does not include recording videos, logo design or ad management.
Is Coachful a good fit for personal trainers?
For trainers who also run programs, sell courses and take bookings, yes: the Fitness & Nutrition pack adds a workout builder, logging, nutrition targets and form-check video. For trainers who rely on wearable sync or stock exercise videos, Trainerize is a better fit, since Coachful offers neither.
Are WithMe and Trainerize HIPAA compliant?
Ask each vendor directly, and get a signed BAA, before storing health records in WithMe or Trainerize. Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and does not sign one. Coaching is not medical care, so keep clinical records in a clinical system and refer clients to a doctor when health red flags appear.
