WithMe vs Podia (2026): Which Fits a Coaching Business?

WithMe vs Podia comes down to how your coaching is sold and delivered. WithMe is a single-plan, phone-first creator hub (as listed in October 2026, $25 a month billed yearly) that sells courses, memberships, community access, paid calls and message-based coaching through its own client app. Podia is a three-tier web storefront (from $42 a month billed yearly) for courses, downloads, webinars, coaching sessions and a community, with no client app. Neither one tracks client habits, check-ins or per-client programs, which matters if your coaching happens between sessions.
This guide compares the two on price, fees, booking, courses, email, community and the client experience, using what each vendor documents on its own pages and what public reviewers report. We have not run paid accounts on either. We make Coachful, a coaching platform, and we include it at the end as a third option, with an honest account of when it beats both and when it does not.

What is the short answer for each kind of coach?
If you sell mostly to an Instagram audience on phones and want the lowest yearly bill, WithMe fits better. If you sell courses and downloads from a website and want a plain storefront with unlimited customers, Podia fits better.
- Creator-coach with a social following: WithMe. One plan, a client app, Instagram comment-to-DM, and 0% WithMe commission.
- Course seller who also offers some calls: Podia. Simple product pages, unlimited customers on every plan, and a no-card trial.
- Coach who wants clients to pay before choosing a call time: WithMe documents exactly that flow for its Coaching Call products. Podia sells coaching sessions as a product type too.
- Coach who sells a lot by email: neither is generous. Podia includes only 100, 500 or 1,000 email subscribers by plan.
- Coach running multi-week programs with habits, check-ins and per-client plans: neither. That is the gap a coaching platform such as Coachful fills, covered below.

How do WithMe and Podia compare side by side?
The table below puts the two next to Coachful. Ranking criteria: one login for the whole client journey, between-session delivery, total stack cost, and setup effort (including Coachful's free white-glove build).
| Platform | Best for | Entry price | Platform fee on sales | Client app | Habits and check-ins |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful | Coaches who deliver programs, not just sessions | Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients | 0% platform fee, processor fees only | Coach's branding inside the Coachful app | Yes: habits, morning and evening check-ins, goals, streaks |
| WithMe | Creator-coaches selling to a mobile audience | $25/mo billed yearly ($300/year); monthly price disputed | 0% WithMe commission, Stripe fees | WithMe-branded iOS and Android app; custom-branded app is a paid extra | No habit or check-in engine documented; message-based coaching with goals |
| Podia | Course and download sellers with a website | $42/mo billed yearly (Mover); $49 monthly | 5% on Mover; 0% on Shaker and Earthquaker | None (September 2026 profile) | No |
Trustpilot ratings, for context: Podia holds 4.1 from 153 reviews (seen October 25, 2026) and WithMe 3.8 from just 2 reviews (seen October 29, 2026). Two reviews tell you almost nothing, so treat WithMe's score as a placeholder rather than a signal.

How much do WithMe and Podia cost?
WithMe costs $25 a month billed yearly ($300 a year) on its one plan. Podia costs $42, $84 or $150 a month billed yearly, or $49, $99 or $179 billed monthly, across three plans.
WithMe's monthly price is genuinely unclear. Its pricing page shows $29 a month, while its own help center says new trials started since August 11, 2026 pay $49 a month. Every WithMe source agrees on the annual figure, so that is the number to plan around. If you want monthly billing, confirm the price inside your trial before your card is charged. More detail is in our WithMe pricing breakdown.
| Plan | Billed monthly | Billed yearly | Key limits | Platform fee |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful | Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients | Flat plans; lower plans cap clients, Pro is unlimited (Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients) | Client caps on lower plans; team plans add coach seats | 0% |
| WithMe All-in-One Creator Hub | $29 on the pricing page; $49 for new trials per help center | $25/mo ($300/year) | One plan; AI credits and custom-branded app bought separately, prices not published | 0% |
| Podia Mover | $49 | $42/mo ($504/year) | 50 products, 500 videos, 25 community spaces, 100 email subscribers | 5% |
| Podia Shaker | $99 | $84/mo ($1,008/year) | 150 products, 1,000 videos, 100 spaces, 500 email subscribers, 1 assistant | 0% |
| Podia Earthquaker | $179 | $150/mo ($1,800/year) | Unlimited products, videos, spaces and assistants; 1,000 email subscribers | 0% |

What do the fees add up to?
Both charge processor fees on top. WithMe takes 0% commission and passes Stripe fees through; PayPal works through Stripe. Podia's Mover plan adds a 5% Podia fee, and all plans pay Stripe or PayPal processing (2.9% + 30¢ standard), with PayPal only from Shaker up.
An illustrative example: a coach who sells $2,000 a month through Podia Mover pays about $100 a month in Podia fees on top of the plan, which already makes Shaker ($99 monthly, 0% fee) the cheaper choice. At that volume WithMe's bill is still the annual plan plus Stripe fees. Our Podia pricing guide works through more break-even points.

Which hidden costs should you budget for?
- WithMe: AI credits and the custom-branded app are paid extras with no published price. The 14-day trial requires a credit card.
- Podia: extra email subscribers beyond your allowance cost more (price not shown on the pricing page; Podia says it never auto-upgrades you). The 14-day trial needs no card and no plan choice.
- Both: you will likely pay separately for anything they do not cover, such as e-signature contracts, client habit tracking or a fuller email tool.
How do they handle booking and coaching calls?
WithMe books paid calls through Google Calendar with Google Meet, or Zoom, and the client pays before choosing a time. Podia sells coaching sessions as a product, and its September 2026 profile notes no native video calls, so calls run on an outside video tool.
WithMe separates two coaching formats. "Coaching Call" products are bookable sessions. "1:1 Coaching" products are ongoing coaching by messages, goals and resources, with no call booking at all. That split suits text-based or voice-note coaching well, but if your offer mixes weekly calls with between-call messaging, you set up two products and your client buys or manages both.
Neither vendor documents the booking controls a busy 1:1 practice leans on, such as buffers, minimum notice, session credits, SMS reminders or intake questions on the booking form. If those matter, check each one during the trial rather than assuming.
Which is better for courses and digital products?
Podia is the more established course and download storefront, with product, video and community-space caps that rise by plan. WithMe sells courses, memberships, communities and digital products too, but it is built around the phone app rather than a website storefront.
Podia's limits are worth reading closely: Mover allows 50 products and 500 videos, Shaker 150 products and 1,000 videos, and Earthquaker removes those caps. Customers are unlimited on every Podia plan, which is generous for a course seller with a large audience. Our Podia review covers the course builder in more depth, and Podia vs Teachable compares it with a course-first rival.
WithMe lists no product caps on its single plan. Its strength is that the course, the community and the coaching all live in one app the client already has on their phone.
How do email marketing and Instagram selling compare?
WithMe includes email and Instagram comment-to-DM on its single plan. Podia includes email on every plan but with small subscriber allowances: 100 on Mover, 500 on Shaker and 1,000 on Earthquaker.
That Podia email cap is the most common surprise for coaches. A lead magnet that brings in 300 people pushes a Mover account past its included list. Podia lets you buy more subscribers, but if email is your main sales channel you will either upgrade or run a separate email tool alongside it.
WithMe's Instagram comment-to-DM is a real advantage for coaches who grow on Instagram: someone comments a keyword under a post and receives a link in their DMs. Podia does not list an equivalent. Podia does offer affiliate marketing, upsells, PayPal and Zapier from Shaker up; if you need those on WithMe, confirm them during the trial.
What about community and group coaching?
Both include a community. Podia caps community spaces at 25 on Mover and 100 on Shaker, unlimited on Earthquaker. WithMe sells community access as one of its product types inside its app.
For cohort coaching, the question is whether the community connects to the program. In both tools you set up the group and the course as separate products and manage access yourself. If you run group programs often, compare this with a tool that creates the cohort group when someone enrolls. Our Circle vs Podia comparison goes deeper on community features.
How does the client experience differ?
On WithMe, clients use the WithMe-branded iOS or Android app, and a custom-branded app is a paid extra. On Podia, clients use a web storefront and course pages in the browser, with no mobile app noted in its September 2026 profile.
For a client buying a self-paced course, both are fine. For a client in a 12-week coaching program, the experience is thinner. Neither tool documents a place where the client sees today's tasks, logs a habit, answers a morning check-in and sees their next session in one view. The client gets content and messages; the coaching structure lives in your head or in another tool.
That matters because between-session follow-through is where most coaching outcomes are made or lost. If your program depends on weekly goals and daily actions, you will end up adding a habit tracker or a form tool to either platform, and your client ends up with two logins.
Can a team or second coach use them?
WithMe gives extra people admin logins but has no per-seat pricing or multi-coach tools. Podia adds assistants: one on Shaker and unlimited on Earthquaker.
Neither documents per-coach availability, round-robin booking or coach-level permissions. If you plan to bring on associate coaches, both work as a shared back office, not as a team coaching tool.
Can you get your data out?
Podia exports contacts to CSV, plus per-product customer lists (active enrollments only) and sales or invoice records, according to its September 2026 profile. WithMe does not document a data export.
If you might switch platforms later, ask WithMe's support during your trial what you can export and in what format, and get the answer in writing.
Which should you pick: WithMe or Podia?
Pick WithMe if your audience lives on Instagram and their phones, you sell a mix of courses, memberships and message-based coaching, and you want the lowest annual bill. Pick Podia if you sell courses and downloads from a website, want unlimited customers, prefer a no-card trial, or want PayPal and affiliates (Shaker and up).
| Your situation | Best fit | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Coachful: programs with habits, check-ins, contracts and booking in one place | Coachful | One login for coach and client; between-session delivery built in; 0% platform fee |
| Instagram-first creator selling low-ticket offers | WithMe | Comment-to-DM, client app, lowest annual price |
| Text or voice-note coaching without calls | WithMe | "1:1 Coaching" product built for message-based coaching |
| Course library with many customers | Podia | Unlimited customers on every plan |
| Selling with affiliates or PayPal | Podia (Shaker and up) | Affiliate marketing and PayPal listed from Shaker |
| Large email list is your main channel | Neither on its own | Podia caps included subscribers; check WithMe's email limits during the trial |

Is there a third option built for coaching?
Yes. Coachful is a coaching platform rather than a creator storefront, and it covers what both WithMe and Podia leave out: client programs with habits and check-ins, booking with reminders, contracts and a client record. We make Coachful, so weigh this section with that in mind.

What is Coachful, and who is it for?
One Coachful subscription covers booking, payments, contracts, program delivery with habits and check-ins, courses, a community, a website with funnels and email, and an AI assistant. The coach has one login, and the client has one app carrying the coach's branding. It is built for coaches who deliver programs, not just sessions, for solo coaches growing into a small team, and for coaches replacing four to six separate tools. The company is based in Tallinn, Estonia, and holds a 4.5 Trustpilot rating from 21 reviews.
This short walkthrough shows how a client program is set up:
Where does Coachful beat both WithMe and Podia?
- Between-session delivery: multi-week programs with weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins, goals with progress bars and streaks. Podia has none of this, and WithMe's coaching product is built on messages, goals and resources rather than habits and check-ins.
- A real client record: goals, check-ins, habits, notes, intake answers, tags, payments and sessions in one place, with a status of thriving, active, quiet or at risk, and an AI briefing per client.
- Booking that fits a 1:1 practice: availability rules, buffers, minimum notice, time-zone detection, two-way Google, Apple and Outlook sync, built-in video or auto-created Zoom, Meet or Teams links, paid sessions and session credits, intake questions, plus SMS and WhatsApp reminders once messaging is enabled.
- Contracts: coaching agreements with e-signature sent before the first call and stored on the client record. Neither rival lists contracts among its features.
- Payments without a platform cut: your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account with one-time payments, subscriptions, payment plans, order bumps, coupons, Apple Pay and Google Pay, and 0% Coachful platform fee.
- Email without a tiny cap: lists, broadcasts and multi-step sequences with triggers, delays, branching and A/B splits are included in your Coachful membership.
- Instagram, like WithMe: Instagram automations reply to a comment keyword, DM, story reply or mention with a DM carrying your booking link, lead magnet or checkout, and the person lands in the same lead and client records.
- Teams: Studio and Agency plans add coach seats with per-coach availability and staff permissions, and multi-coach session types can assign round-robin or least-busy.

The client side is where the difference shows most. Instead of a course page or a message thread, the client opens one home with their journey, sessions, progress and documents.

Coachful also includes courses with modules, lessons, drip and completion tracking, downloads, events and bundles, so the course side that Podia does well is covered too, delivered into the same branded home.

Where do WithMe or Podia beat Coachful?
- Lowest annual bill for a pure creator store: WithMe's $300 a year single plan is hard to beat if all you need is a mobile storefront and messaging.
- PayPal: Coachful does not support PayPal. Podia offers it from Shaker, and WithMe routes it through Stripe.
- Course marketplace or large course-only business: Coachful is not a course marketplace. A seller with hundreds of self-paced customers and no coaching relationship may prefer Podia's unlimited customers.
- Your own App Store listing: Coachful's client app ships under the Coachful listing with your branding. WithMe sells a custom-branded app as a paid extra.
- No permanent free plan: Coachful has a free trial but no free tier, and neither rival has one either.
What does Coachful not do?
It is not HIPAA-certified and offers no BAA, so it is not for clinical record-keeping or insurance billing. There is no Garmin, Fitbit, Whoop or Oura sync, no Salesforce or HubSpot integration, no multi-stage sales deal board for large teams, no third-party plugins, and the affiliate program records payouts manually rather than sending them.

How does Coachful's price compare?
Coachful uses flat monthly plans. Lower plans cap the number of clients, Pro is unlimited, and team plans add seats (Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients). For a coach with about 15 active clients, the matching plan is Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients, and the unlimited-client plan is Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients. Monthly plans cancel in one click.
When you compare, count the whole stack. WithMe or Podia plus a booking tool, an e-signature tool and a habit or check-in app is often four logins and four bills. Coachful replaces that stack with one subscription and 0% platform fee.
What is the white-glove build?
Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. From Create, choose "We'll build it for you" and describe what you need: a website, funnel, sales page, program, course outline and written material, email sequence, form, link in bio, event or automation. Attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files such as logos, photos, brand guides and copy. The Coachful team builds it inside your own account, usually within about 24 hours. Nothing is invented: no fake credentials, testimonials or prices, and gaps are left for you to fill. It does not include recording videos, logo design, ad management or ongoing marketing.

Recent anonymized builds give a sense of scope. A somatic coach leaving Kajabi had the homepage and About page rebuilt and the contact form connected. A business mentor for beauty professionals got a 12-week mentorship sales page, a free start-up-guide funnel and rewritten follow-up emails. A leadership coach with a Squarespace renewal days away got one clean homepage with a repeated "talk with me" button. Read more on the free white-glove service.
How do you start?
Start a free trial, then send a white-glove request for your website, first program or funnel. During onboarding your clients, programs and content are imported for you, and you can export the full client data as a ZIP at any time. See how Coachful works as coaching software, group coaching, scheduling and contracts.

How should you test WithMe and Podia during the trial?
Run one real client journey through each tool before you commit. Both trials last 14 days, so plan the test in advance.
- Buy your own offer. Use a test card to purchase a coaching call and a course. Note how many screens it takes and whether the client gets a clear confirmation.
- Book a call as the client. Check time-zone handling, reminders and where the video link appears.
- Deliver week one. Try to give a client a goal, a daily task and a check-in. Note what you need an outside tool for.
- Send an email to a list of 150. On Podia Mover, see what happens when you exceed 100 subscribers.
- Confirm the price. On WithMe, check which monthly price your account shows before the card is charged. On Podia, decide whether the 5% Mover fee outweighs moving to Shaker.
- Ask about export. Request a sample export of contacts and purchases from each.
Write down every outside tool you would still need. That list, priced out, is the real comparison.
Frequently asked questions
Is WithMe cheaper than Podia?
Yes, on annual billing. WithMe's single plan is $25 a month billed yearly ($300 a year), while Podia's cheapest plan is $42 a month billed yearly ($504 a year) and adds a 5% fee on sales. Podia's 0% fee plans start at $84 a month billed yearly.
What does WithMe cost per month?
It depends on which WithMe page you read. Its pricing page shows $29 a month, but its help center says new trials since August 11, 2026 pay $49 a month. The annual price of $25 a month is consistent across sources, so confirm the monthly figure inside your trial.
Does Podia have a mobile app for clients?
Podia's September 2026 profile notes no mobile app, so clients use courses and the storefront in a browser. WithMe has a WithMe-branded iOS and Android app, with a custom-branded app as a paid extra.
Can I take PayPal on WithMe or Podia?
Podia supports PayPal on Shaker and Earthquaker. WithMe says PayPal works through Stripe. Coachful does not support PayPal; it uses Stripe Connect or Razorpay.
Do WithMe or Podia track client habits and check-ins?
Neither documents habit tracking, daily check-ins or per-client programs. WithMe's "1:1 Coaching" product offers messages, goals and resources, and Podia sells sessions and courses. If between-session accountability is central to your coaching, look at a coaching platform that includes it.
Which is better for Instagram coaches?
WithMe, between these two. It includes Instagram comment-to-DM and a phone app, which suits audiences that discover you on Instagram. Coachful also has Instagram automations that send a DM with your booking link, lead magnet or checkout when someone comments a keyword.
How many email subscribers does Podia include?
Podia includes 100 email subscribers on Mover, 500 on Shaker and 1,000 on Earthquaker, as listed in October 2026. You can add more for an extra cost that is not shown on the pricing page, and Podia says it does not upgrade you automatically.
What is Coachful's free white-glove service?
It is a build service included on every Coachful plan. You describe what you want, such as a website, funnel, program or email sequence, attach references and files, and the Coachful team builds it inside your account, usually within about 24 hours. It does not cover video recording, logo design or ad management.
Can I move from Podia or WithMe to Coachful?
Yes. Clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding, and the white-glove team can rebuild your website or sales pages. Export your contacts and purchase records from your current tool first; Podia documents CSV exports, and WithMe does not document one, so ask its support.
Is Coachful suitable for health or therapy practices?
Coachful suits health, wellness and fitness coaching, but coaching is not treatment, and Coachful is not HIPAA-certified. Clinical records and insurance billing belong in a clinical system, and clients with medical concerns should be referred to a licensed professional. See Coachful for health coaches.
