Top 12 Podia Alternatives: Ranked and Reviewed

Top 12 Podia Alternatives: Ranked and Reviewed

The best Podia alternatives depend on one question: are you selling products to buyers, or guiding clients through a coaching process week after week? Podia is a tidy storefront for courses, downloads, webinars, community and booked coaching sessions, and every plan includes unlimited customers. If your business is a handful of digital products and the occasional paid call, it may already be enough. Coaches who run multi-week programs tend to hit the same gaps: no client habits, no daily check-ins, no per-client plans, small email allowances (100, 500 or 1,000 subscribers included), and a 5% transaction fee on the entry plan.

Our pick is Coachful, because it was built for that second kind of business: one subscription covers booking, payments, coaching agreements, programs with habits and check-ins, courses, community, a website with funnels and email, and an AI assistant, with one login for you and one branded app for your clients. We make Coachful, so weigh our ranking with that in mind. Below you will find a five-question checklist, a table that maps your answers to a pick, then all 12 tools ranked, with prices as listed in October 2026, a cost comparison at 5, 15 and 40 clients, and the switching costs nobody mentions until migration week.

Which five questions decide your Podia replacement?

Five answers about your practice settle most of the choice. Write yours down before reading the reviews, because every tool below looks good in isolation.

  1. Do clients need something from you between sessions? If your coaching works through daily tasks, habits, morning or evening check-ins and weekly goals, you need a delivery engine, not only a storefront. Podia does not offer client habits, check-ins or per-client plans.
  2. Is your income mostly 1:1 and group coaching, or mostly products? A coach earning most revenue from 12-week packages needs booking, agreements, payment plans and a client record. A creator earning from a $49 course needs checkout, a course player and email.
  3. How large is your email list going to be in a year? Podia includes 100 subscribers on Mover, 500 on Shaker and 1,000 on Earthquaker. Some alternatives include thousands of contacts; others meter email or sends.
  4. How many tools do you run next to Podia today? Count the scheduler, video-call app, e-signature tool, habit tracker, forms and spreadsheets. The cheapest platform is often the most expensive stack once those come back.
  5. Who will do the setup? Moving a website, courses, sales pages and email sequences takes days if you do it alone. A platform that builds or imports for you changes the real cost of switching.

Which Podia alternative fits your answers?

Match your answers to the row that fits best. If question 1 is a yes, start at the top row; most of the others are product, course or community platforms that leave client delivery to other tools.

How did we rank these 12 Podia alternatives?

We ranked each tool on how well it runs a coaching practice after you leave Podia, using vendor documentation, pricing pages checked on October 25, 2026, and what public reviewers report. We did not run hands-on tests.

Ranking criteria: one login for the whole client journey, delivery between sessions, total stack cost, and setup effort (including whether someone builds it for you).

To keep comparisons honest, we priced every tool against one example practice: a coach with 15 one-to-one clients on a 12-week program, one 20-person group program, a free lead magnet, about 400 email subscribers and roughly $4,500 a month in sales. These are illustrative numbers, not a benchmark. The question for each platform was simple: what would that coach still have to buy, connect or do by hand?

1. Coachful: one login from first booking to the last check-in

Coachful is the strongest Podia alternative for coaches because it replaces the storefront and the delivery work around it. Podia sells the course or the call; Coachful also runs what happens between calls, which is where most coaching results are made or lost.

What Coachful is, in one paragraph. Coachful is a coaching platform where one subscription covers booking, payments, contracts, program delivery with habits and check-ins, courses, a community, a website with funnels and email, and an AI assistant. It is built for coaches who deliver programs rather than only sessions, solo coaches growing into a small team, and coaches replacing four to six tools. It does not do clinical record-keeping or insurance billing (it is not HIPAA-certified and offers no BAA), it has no PayPal, and it is not a course marketplace. To start, you take a free trial and, if you want, ask the team to build your setup with the free white-glove service described below. The company is based in Tallinn, Estonia, and holds a Trustpilot score of 4.5 from 21 reviews.

Programs that keep working between sessions. A Coachful program runs over multiple weeks with weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins, goals with progress bars and streaks. Clients see their current week, their tasks and their group inside your branded app. On Podia you would sell the program as a course and then track accountability in a separate app or a spreadsheet.

The demo Programs view in Coachful shows an enrolled group program, its current week, members and the route into the program.

Each client record pulls together goals, check-ins, habits, notes, intake answers, tags, payments and sessions, and Coachful labels every client as thriving, active, quiet or at risk. Michelle, the built-in AI assistant, works from that live practice data: she briefs you before sessions, summarizes recorded sessions, drafts emails and content, and can build programs. Questions and planning are included in your Coachful membership; confirmed builds and changes use AI credits. If you want private feedback on your own coaching, Michelle can review it against ICF Core Competencies 3 to 8.

Booking and payments without the extra subscriptions. Booking pages support availability rules, buffers, minimum notice and time-zone detection, with two-way Google, Apple/iCloud and Outlook calendar sync. Sessions run on built-in video or on auto-created Zoom, Meet or Teams links, and clients get email reminders plus SMS (24 hours before) and WhatsApp (1 hour before) once messaging is enabled. You can add intake questions to a booking and sell paid sessions or session credits. Coaching agreements with e-signature go out before the first call and stay on the client record.

Payments run through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account: one-time charges, subscriptions, payment plans, order bumps, coupons, refunds, Apple Pay and Google Pay, and Stripe Tax, with an invoice per transaction and manual invoices when you need them. Since August 2026 there is a 0% Coachful platform fee, so you pay only Stripe or Razorpay processing. Compare that with Podia's 5% on Mover.

The Podia parts are here too. Courses come with modules, lessons, drip and completion tracking, alongside downloads, videos, books, AI tools, events and bundles, all delivered into your client's branded home and app. The community has a feed, group chat, direct messages and video events, and a cohort group is created automatically when someone enrolls in a program. The section-based website builder has a blog, custom domain, SEO settings, 30 designed homepage templates and an Import website option. Funnels cover booking, applications, lead magnets and checkout, with pixels and UTM tracking, and email covers lists, broadcasts and multi-step sequences with triggers, delays, branching and A/B splits. That is the stack described on our course platform for coaches and group coaching software pages.

Here is a walkthrough of how programs are built and delivered:

Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. On every plan, you can open Create and choose "We'll build it for you · FREE", describe what you want, attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files (logos, photos, brand guides, copy, documents; no video files), and the Coachful team builds it inside your own account, usually within about 24 hours. That covers a website, funnel, sales page, program, course outline and written material, email sequence, lead quiz, webinar, automation and more. Nothing gets invented: no fake credentials, testimonials or prices, and gaps are left for you to fill. A somatic coach leaving Kajabi, for example, had the homepage and About page rebuilt and the contact form connected; a business mentor for beauty professionals got a 12-week mentorship sales page, a free start-up-guide funnel and rewritten follow-up emails. It does not include recording videos, logo design, ad management or ongoing marketing. Read more in how the free white-glove service works.

Limits worth knowing. Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and has no PayPal; after the trial, every plan is paid. The client app ships under the Coachful listing with your branding, not in your own App Store account. There is no Garmin, Fitbit, Whoop or Oura sync, no multi-stage sales deal board for large teams, and no Salesforce or HubSpot integration. Affiliate tracking covers links, clicks, conversions and revenue, but payouts are recorded manually. Plans are flat monthly prices; lower plans cap the number of clients, Pro is unlimited, team plans add coach seats, and monthly plans cancel in one click (current plans: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients).

Who it suits best. A coach who sells programs and wants clients to open one app for their sessions, tasks, habits, course lessons and group. If you are a life coach, health coach or business coach moving off Podia, that is the shape of your practice.

2. Is Kajabi the upgrade Podia sellers expect?

Kajabi is the most complete marketing platform here for product sellers, but its entry plan costs as much as Podia's top plan and still leaves client delivery to you. It covers courses, community, website, funnels and email in one account.

Screenshot of the Kajabi website homepage, captured in October 2026
Kajabi's homepage in October 2026.

As listed in October 2026, Basic costs $179 a month ($143 a month billed annually) and includes 5 products, 2,500 contacts, 1 community, 1 website, 2 admin users and no AI credits. Growth is $249 ($199 annually) with 50 products, 25,000 contacts, 11 admin users and 500 AI credits. Pro is $499 ($399 annually) with unlimited products, 100,000 contacts, 3 communities and 3 websites. Kajabi Payments in the US charges 2.9% + $0.30 on Basic, 2.8% on Growth and 2.7% on Pro. Use another processor (PayPal excluded) and Kajabi adds 2%, 1% or 0.5% on top.

The 14-day trial lets you enter a card or skip it; if you enter one, Kajabi places an authorization hold and charges when the trial ends. Bulk contact import, test emails and some automations stay locked until you activate a paid plan, which matters if you want to test a migration properly.

The big change from Podia is contacts: 2,500 on Basic against Podia's 100 on Mover. The step backward is products: Basic allows 5, where Mover allows 50. Kajabi has no habit tracking or daily check-ins; coaching lives as products and communities, not per-client plans. On Trustpilot it shows 3.4 from 2,347 reviews. Our Kajabi vs Podia comparison and Kajabi alternatives go deeper.

Pick it over Coachful if your revenue comes from marketing a few flagship products to a large list and you do not need to track what each client does between calls.

3. Systeme.io, for funnels on almost no budget

Systeme.io is the cheapest serious all-in-one marketing tool on this list, with a free plan that never expires and 0% transaction fees on every plan. It suits course sellers who live in funnels.

Screenshot of the Systeme.io website homepage, captured in October 2026
Systeme.io's homepage in October 2026.

The Free plan includes 2,000 contacts, 3 funnels, 1 course, 500 students, a blog, an affiliate program, a custom domain, 1 automation rule and 1 email campaign, with no card required. Startup is $17 a month (5,000 contacts, 10 funnels, 5 courses), Webinar is $47 (10,000 contacts, 50 funnels, 20 courses), and Unlimited is $97 with unlimited contacts, funnels, courses and automation rules. Stripe and PayPal charge their own processing.

For a Podia seller, the free plan alone beats Mover on contacts (2,000 against 100) and removes the 5% fee. Where it falls short is coaching: the older profile we hold notes no native 1:1 scheduling with client records, habits or check-ins, basic community and course features, and no branded mobile app. You would add a scheduler and an accountability tool. Systeme.io shows 4.9 on Trustpilot from 8,696 reviews.

Pick it over Coachful if you mainly sell low-priced courses through funnels, your coaching is occasional, and keeping software spend near zero matters more than a client app.

4. LearnWorlds when the course itself is the product

LearnWorlds is the strongest pure course builder here: interactive video, SCORM support, a website builder and funnels. It is a better course player than Podia, but it is not built for 1:1 client management.

LearnWorlds pricing page with Starter, Pro Trainer and Learning Center plans in euros
LearnWorlds's pricing page in October 2026 (it shows euro prices).

Starter is $29 a month ($24 annually) with 1 admin, 1,000 active learners a month and 300 AI credits, plus a $5 fee per paid enrollment. Pro Trainer is $99 ($79 annually) with 5 admins, 2,000 active learners, 500 AI credits, 20 SCORM packages, 15 page funnels and 2,000 mass emails a month, and no LearnWorlds fee. Learning Center is $299 ($249 annually) with 25 admins and up to 10 client groups. Stripe and PayPal gateway fees of 2.9% + $0.30 apply. The 30-day trial needs no card, but LearnWorlds schedules the school for deletion if you do not upgrade, so export anything you build.

Note the shape of the limits: active learners per month, not total customers as on Podia. A branded mobile app is a separately priced add-on. LearnWorlds shows 4.8 on Trustpilot from 423 reviews.

Pick it over Coachful if you are building certification-style courses where quizzes, SCORM and interactive video matter more than booking, habits or check-ins.

5. Kartra brings pages, email, SMS and calendars together

Kartra is a marketing suite that adds things Podia lacks, such as SMS, calendars and a helpdesk. It gives aggressive marketers more control, though its entry plan is tighter than Podia's.

Screenshot of the Kartra website homepage, captured in October 2026
Kartra's homepage in October 2026.

Essentials is $59 a month ($52 annually): 500 contacts, 5 pages, 1 product, 1 membership or course, 10,000 emails a month and a 5% transaction fee. Starter is $119 ($99 annually) with 2,500 contacts, unlimited pages, products and memberships, unlimited email and SMS, 5 team members and 0% fees. Growth is $229 ($189 annually) with 12,500 contacts and 10 team members, and Professional is $549 ($429 annually). There is a 14-day trial and a 30-day money-back guarantee.

So a Podia Mover user moving to Essentials gets more contacts but just one product, and the same 5% fee. Realistically you would budget for Starter. Kartra has no client habits, check-ins or per-client coaching plans, and the older profile notes no mobile app and funnels that do not move to other platforms. Trustpilot: 3.2 from 129 reviews. For more funnel-first options, see ClickFunnels alternatives for coaches.

Pick it over Coachful if SMS campaigns, a helpdesk and complex sales funnels are central to how you sell, and your coaching delivery already happens elsewhere.

6. Why do coaches look at Thinkific after Podia?

Because it scales a course business further: 10,000 current students on the entry plan, multiple admins and communities. The price is higher and coaching still needs outside tools.

Screenshot of the Thinkific website homepage, captured in October 2026
Thinkific's homepage in October 2026.

Prices rose about 10% on August 13, 2026. Start is now $109 a month ($82 annually) with 10,000 current students, 2 admins, 1 community with 10 spaces, 5 live community events and a maximum group size of 50. Grow is $219 ($164 annually) with 6 admins and 3 communities, and Expand is $499 ($374 annually). Thinkific charges no transaction fee through Thinkific Payments, which it describes as around 2.9%; third-party Stripe or PayPal gateways carry an extra per-plan fee that the page does not quantify. Every self-serve plan has a 30-day trial.

The older profile notes no built-in 1:1 scheduling, so coaching calls rely on external booking links. There are no client habits, daily check-ins or per-client plans, and the branded mobile app is a $199-a-month add-on. Public reviewers are harsh: 1.8 on Trustpilot from 868 reviews. Our Thinkific alternatives roundup covers the trade-offs.

Pick it over Coachful if you run a large course catalog with thousands of students and several admins, and coaching is a small add-on to that.

7. Teachable for course sellers who want a student app

Teachable gives students mobile apps and a familiar course experience, which Podia does not (the older Podia profile notes no mobile app). Its entry plan carries the steepest fee of the course tools.

Screenshot of the Teachable website homepage, captured in October 2026
Teachable's homepage in October 2026.

Starter costs $39 a month ($29 annually) for 5 products and charges a 7.5% platform fee. Builder is $89 ($69 annually) for 10 products and 0% fee, and Growth is $189 ($139 annually) for 50 products and 5 admins. Teachable Payments processing is 2.9% + 30¢ for US cards and 3.9% + 30¢ internationally, with a $15 chargeback fee. Plan cards show a 7-day trial plus a 30-day guarantee.

Run the example practice through Starter: 7.5% of $4,500 is $337.50 a month in fees, so Builder is the realistic plan. Teachable has no native scheduling or calendar sync (older profile), so calls go through a separate scheduler and video tool, and there are no habits, check-ins or per-client plans. Trustpilot shows 3.3 from 1,110 reviews. See Teachable alternatives for coaches.

Pick it over Coachful if your students mostly consume self-paced courses on their phones and you rarely work with anyone 1:1.

8. Stan Store keeps the link-in-bio simplicity

Stan Store is the closest thing to Podia's simplicity for coaches who sell from social media. It is fast to set up, has no Stan fee on sales, and sells products, courses, memberships and paid calls from one link.

Screenshot of the Stan Store website homepage, captured in October 2026
Stan Store's homepage in October 2026.

Creator is $29 a month ($25 annually) with unlimited products and customers in one store. Creator Pro is $99 ($79 annually), and it is the only plan with email marketing, upsells, discount codes and affiliates. Standard Stripe or PayPal processing applies. The 14-day trial charges your first month when it ends, according to Stan's help center.

For a coach, the gaps are the back office: no contracts, invoices or client records, no programs with tasks, habits or check-ins, and no team seats advertised. If you rely on Podia's email today, you will need Creator Pro to match it. Trustpilot shows 4.7 from 2,205 reviews. More in Stan Store alternatives.

Pick it over Coachful if nearly all your sales start from an Instagram or TikTok bio link and you want a shop live today with no website at all.

9. Mighty Networks as a community-first replacement

Mighty Networks makes sense when the community is the product rather than an extra. It combines community, courses and live events, with member apps under the Mighty brand.

Screenshot of the Mighty Networks website homepage, captured in October 2026
Mighty Networks's homepage in October 2026.

Launch costs $95 a month ($79 annually) with 3 hosts, 10 moderators, 200 GB of storage and 20 hours of livestreaming a month for up to 100 attendees. Scale is $215 ($179 annually), Growth is $354 a month billed annually, and Mighty Pro, which adds your own branded apps, is custom-priced. Mighty takes a platform fee of 2% on Launch, 1% on Scale and 0.5% on Growth, plus Stripe processing. The 14-day trial needs no card and includes Growth features.

There is no 1:1 scheduling, invoicing or contracts, and no per-client habits, check-ins or private coaching plans. On the example practice's $4,500 a month, Launch's 2% adds $90. Trustpilot shows 3.3 from 219 reviews.

Pick it over Coachful if you run a large membership where members mostly talk to each other and live streams, rather than 1:1 work, drive retention.

10. What does Circle do better than Podia's community?

Circle offers a more developed community: spaces, events, live streams, courses and paid memberships, with generous AI credits. Podia's community is simpler; Circle is built for the community to carry the business.

Screenshot of the Circle website homepage, captured in October 2026
Circle's homepage in October 2026.

Circle lists prices billed annually only: Professional at $89 a month (3 admins, 10 moderators, 2,500 AI credits a month), Business at $199 and Scale at $419. Circle Plus is custom-priced and is the only tier with branded mobile apps. Circle takes 2% of payments on Professional, 1% on Business and Scale, and 0.5% on Circle Plus, plus Stripe processing. The 14-day trial needs no card.

Like Mighty Networks, Circle has no 1:1 scheduling or client management back office and no per-client habits or check-ins. Trustpilot shows 4.1 from 129 reviews, the same score Podia holds. Our Circle alternatives list compares it with other community tools.

Pick it over Coachful if you want a premium standalone community with many moderators and you are comfortable running coaching sessions and client records in other software.

11. Skool, if your offer lives inside one group

Skool puts community, a classroom and a calendar into one group, with gamified leaderboards. It is cheap to start but deliberately narrow.

Screenshot of the Skool website homepage, captured in October 2026
Skool's homepage in October 2026.

Hobby is $9 a month ($7.50 annually) and Pro is $99 ($82.50 annually), both with unlimited members, courses, videos and live calls. Payments go only through Skool Payments: Hobby charges 10% + 30¢ on every transaction, while Pro charges 2.9% + 30¢ on transactions up to $899 and 3.9% + 30¢ above $900. Fees are non-refundable and payouts go out weekly on Wednesdays. The pricing page shows "Try for free" buttons but does not state the trial length.

Skool has no custom-domain website, funnels, email automation or public API, and no 1:1 client records, intake forms, habits or check-ins. On Hobby, the example practice would pay at least $450 a month in Skool fees, before the 30¢ per transaction. Trustpilot shows 1.6 from 54 reviews. See Skool alternatives for more.

Pick it over Coachful if your whole offer is one community with a classroom, you sell through social content rather than a website, and leaderboards motivate your members.

12. Beacons: the cheapest creator storefront, with a fee

Beacons is a creator tool for link-in-bio pages, a storefront, a media kit and email. It undercuts Podia on price but takes a 9% seller fee on its two lowest plans.

Beacons pricing page with Free, Creator, Creator Plus and Creator Max plans
Beacons's pricing page in October 2026.

The Free plan includes 30 daily AI credits, 50 email sends a month and one single-page website. Creator is $10 a month ($8.33 annually) with 500 email sends. Creator Plus is $30 ($25 annually) with unlimited AI credits and email sends and 0% seller fee, and Creator Max is $100 ($83.33 annually). Courses and memberships start at Creator Plus. There is no paid-plan trial; the free plan is "free forever".

The pricing page shows no scheduling with client records, contracts, habits or check-ins. Beacons shows 2.0 on Trustpilot from 43 reviews. It ranks last here because a coach would rebuild most of the practice around it.

Pick it over Coachful if you are a creator first, sell a few digital products and brand deals from a bio link, and want the lowest possible monthly bill.

What do these tools cost at 5, 15 and 40 clients?

For most product platforms, client count does not change the plan; fees and what you must add do. Below, each tool is priced for the example practice at three sizes, using monthly-billed list prices from October 2026 and the plan a coach would realistically need.

Tool5 clients15 clients40 clientsStill to add or pay

Skool$9 Hobby + 10% + 30¢$99 Pro$99 ProWebsite, email, scheduler, records
Beacons$10 Creator + 9% fee$30 Creator Plus$30 Creator PlusScheduler, contracts, records

Two patterns stand out. First, percentage fees punish growth: on the example $4,500 a month, Podia Mover's 5% is $225, which is more than the $99 Shaker plan that removes it. The same logic pushes Teachable, Kartra, Skool and Beacons users onto their middle plans. Second, the "still to add" column is where budgets break. A separate scheduler, video tool, e-signature app and habit tracker are each a monthly subscription, and each is another login for your clients. Our coaching payment software page explains what an all-in-one setup replaces.

What red flags and switching costs should you check before leaving Podia?

The biggest switching costs are your customer data, active subscriptions and email consent, not the new subscription price. Check these before you cancel anything.

  • Customer exports are partial. Podia lets you export contacts to CSV, plus a customer export per product that includes active enrollments only, and a sales or invoice export (older profile). Export everything, including past buyers, before your plan ends. If you or your buyers are in the EU, the GDPR's right to data portability (Article 20 of Regulation 2016/679) covers personal data people provided; check with an attorney how it applies to your situation.
  • Recurring payments may not move. Ask the new platform whether active subscriptions and payment plans can transfer or whether buyers must re-subscribe. Plan the timing so nobody is double-charged or dropped.
  • Email consent travels with rules. Importing a list does not reset your obligations. The FTC's CAN-SPAM compliance guide requires a working opt-out honored within 10 business days, a valid postal address and accurate headers. Carry unsubscribes over so nobody hears from you who opted out.
  • Testimonials need to stay genuine. When you rebuild sales pages, copy real testimonials as they are. The FTC's Consumer Reviews and Testimonials Rule has allowed civil penalties for fake or false reviews since October 21, 2024.
  • Fees hidden in the fine print. Look for per-enrollment fees (LearnWorlds Starter), gateway surcharges (Kajabi with non-Kajabi processors, Thinkific with third-party gateways), platform percentages (Mighty Networks, Circle, Skool) and metered usage.
  • Trials that delete your work. LearnWorlds schedules unpaid schools for deletion; Kajabi locks bulk import until you pay. Test a real migration before committing.
  • Links and redirects. Every course link, checkout link and bio link you shared points to Podia. List them, and update emails, social bios and PDFs on switch day.

On Coachful, clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding, and you can export your full client data as a ZIP (roster, notes, check-ins, goals, habits, sessions and form responses) plus course exports whenever you want, so leaving later is not a trap either.

What does a Podia-to-Coachful move look like, step by step?

A typical move takes the example practice from storefront plus side tools to one account. Here is the order we suggest, and what your clients see at each step.

A laptop showing a client's Coachful coaching hub with the next session, beside a screen showing a goal's daily momentum section
A client's coaching hub in Coachful with the next demo session, next to a demo goal's daily tasks and habits.
  1. Export from Podia. Download contacts, per-product customers and sales history. Your clients notice nothing yet.
  2. Request the build. In Coachful, open Create and choose the white-glove option. Attach your Podia sales page links, logo and copy, and describe your website, your 12-week program and your lead magnet funnel. The team builds them inside your account, usually within about 24 hours, and leaves gaps where facts are missing.
  3. Connect payments and calendars. Link your Stripe Connect or Razorpay account and your Google, Apple/iCloud or Outlook calendar. Set availability, buffers and minimum notice on your booking page.
  4. Set up the program. Start from one of the more than 40 program templates or the build. Add weekly goals, daily tasks, habits and morning and evening check-ins. Enrolling clients creates their cohort group automatically.
  5. Add agreements and intake. Attach a coaching agreement with e-signature and intake questions to your booking. A new client now books, signs and answers intake before the first call, all in one flow.
  6. Move courses and email. Rebuild course modules with drip and completion tracking, import your list and recreate your welcome sequence with triggers and delays.
  7. Invite clients. Clients open your branded app and see their next session, the current program week, today's tasks and habits, their course lessons and the group feed. Reminders arrive by email, and by SMS and WhatsApp once messaging is on.
  8. Cancel Podia last. Once payments, links and redirects are confirmed, end the Podia plan and the side subscriptions.

If any of your clients work with you on health topics, keep the scope line clear in your agreement: coaching supports behavior change and is not medical treatment, and clients with symptoms, eating disorders or mental health concerns should be referred to a licensed professional. Coachful is not built for clinical records.

Which Podia alternative should you choose?

Choose Coachful if you coach people through programs and want booking, payments, agreements, habits, check-ins, courses, community, website and email under one login, with the setup built for you at no charge. Choose Kajabi or Systeme.io if you mainly sell products and want stronger marketing, at very different budgets. Choose LearnWorlds, Thinkific or Teachable if courses are the business. Choose Mighty Networks, Circle or Skool if community is the business. Choose Stan Store or Beacons if a bio link is your whole shop.

For coaches, the deciding question from the top of this page usually settles it: if clients need you between sessions, a storefront is not enough. More comparisons are on our comparison hub and the Coachful alternatives page, if you want to test our pick against the field.

Frequently asked questions about Podia alternatives

What is the best Podia alternative for coaches?

For coaches who deliver programs, Coachful is our pick, because it adds habits, check-ins, booking, agreements and client records to the courses, community and website you used Podia for. Product sellers may prefer Kajabi or Systeme.io. Compare the trade-offs above against your own answers to the five questions.

Is there a cheaper alternative to Podia?

Yes. As listed in October 2026, Systeme.io and Beacons have free plans, Skool Hobby is $9 a month and Stan Store Creator is $29, against Podia Mover at $49. Free and cheap plans often carry percentage fees (Beacons 9%, Skool Hobby 10% + 30¢) or tight limits, so price them against your sales.

Does Podia charge transaction fees?

Podia's Mover plan charges a 5% transaction fee; Shaker and Earthquaker charge 0%. Stripe or PayPal processing (2.9% + 30¢ standard) applies on every plan. PayPal is available on Shaker and above.

Which Podia alternative has habit tracking and client check-ins?

Of the 12 tools here, only Coachful documents client habits, daily tasks and morning and evening check-ins inside programs. The course and community platforms rely on separate apps or forms for accountability.

What is Coachful's free white-glove service?

It is a build service included on every Coachful plan: you describe what you need, such as a website, funnel, program, course outline or email sequence, attach up to 8 links and 10 files, and the team builds it in your account, usually within about 24 hours. It does not invent testimonials, credentials or prices, and it does not cover video recording, logo design, ads or ongoing marketing.

Can I move my Podia courses and customers to another platform?

You can export contacts to CSV, customers per product (active enrollments only) and sales history from Podia. Course videos and pages usually need to be re-uploaded or rebuilt. Coachful imports clients, programs and content for you during onboarding.

Is Kajabi better than Podia?

Kajabi includes far more contacts (2,500 on Basic against Podia's 100 on Mover) and stronger marketing tools, but Basic costs $179 a month and allows only 5 products. Neither tracks client habits or check-ins. See our Kajabi vs Podia page for a direct comparison.

Does Podia have a mobile app?

The older Podia profile we hold notes no mobile app and no native video calls. Teachable offers student mobile apps, while Thinkific, LearnWorlds, Circle and Mighty Networks offer branded apps only as paid add-ons or on custom plans. Coachful clients use your branding inside the Coachful app.

Is Coachful HIPAA-compliant?

No. Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and does not sign a BAA, so it is not suited to clinical record-keeping or insurance billing. Health and wellness coaches who stay within coaching scope use it for programs, habits and check-ins.

Do I need a free trial before switching from Podia?

A trial is worth it to test a real migration: import a sample of contacts, rebuild one course and run one booking end to end. Podia itself offers a 14-day trial with no card, and most alternatives here offer 14 to 30 days; Coachful offers a free trial too.
