The 10 Best Teachable Alternatives for Coaches, Compared

The best Teachable alternatives for coaches are the ones that handle what happens after someone buys: booking the call, signing the agreement, and keeping the client moving between sessions. Teachable is a course and digital-product platform. Its pricing page, as listed in October 2026, puts Starter at $39 a month ($29 billed annually) with a 7.5% transaction fee, and our September 2026 profile found no native scheduling or calendar sync, so coaching calls run through other tools. The deciding question is simple: are you selling a course, or coaching people through a change?
If coaching is the product, our pick is Coachful. It puts booking, payments, contracts, programs with habits and check-ins, courses, community, a website and email behind one login, with one branded app for your clients. We make Coachful, so weigh that as you read. Nine other platforms follow, and several of them fit specific practices better; every entry ends with the situation where you should pick it instead.
This guide is built as a decision tool. Answer the five questions below about your own practice, find your answers in the table that follows, then read the sections for the two or three platforms that match. Costs at 5, 15 and 40 clients, red flags and switching costs come after the tool sections.
What should you answer about your practice before leaving Teachable?
Five questions decide most of this choice. Write your answers down before you look at any pricing page, because pricing pages are designed to make every plan look like the obvious one.
- What do clients actually buy from you? If most revenue comes from self-paced courses sold to people you never meet, a course platform is a fair like-for-like swap. If most revenue comes from 1:1 packages, group programs or retainers, you need booking, agreements and client records first, and courses second.
- Do clients need to do something between calls? Coaching results usually come from the days between sessions: a habit, a daily reflection, a weekly goal. Teachable does not offer client habits, daily check-ins or per-client plans, and neither do most course platforms. If between-session work matters, make it a hard requirement.
- How many active clients or students do you have, and how many in a year? Course tools tend to price by products, contacts or active learners. Coaching tools tend to price by clients. Five private clients and a list of 3,000 course buyers point to very different plans.
- How many tools do you pay for around Teachable today? Count the booking app, the e-signature tool, the email platform, the community and the website host. The real comparison is your total stack, not one subscription against another.
- How much setup time do you have, and do any compliance rules apply? A move takes hours you could be coaching. If you coach around health, remember that coaching is not treatment: refer clients to a licensed clinician for diagnosis or treatment, and if you need a HIPAA business associate agreement, check that a vendor signs one before you move any client data.
Which Teachable alternative fits your answers?
Start from the row whose middle column sounds most like your answers. We scored every platform against one example practice: 15 one-to-one clients on a 12-week program, one group cohort of about 20 people, and a self-paced course sold to past clients.
Ranking criteria: one login for the whole client journey, between-session delivery, total stack cost, and setup effort, including Coachful's free white-glove build.
| Rank and platform | Best when your answers say | Entry price as listed (monthly) | Main gap for coaches |

| 5. Thinkific | A large student base and paid communities | $109 ($82 annually) | No built-in 1:1 scheduling (September 2026 profile) |

| 9. Mighty Networks | The program is community-led, with live events | $95 ($79 annually) plus a 2% fee | No 1:1 scheduling, invoicing or contracts |
| 10. Circle | The community itself is the product | $89 billed annually; monthly price not listed in our data | No 1:1 back office |
Vendor prices are as listed in October 2026 and exclude payment processing.
#1 Coachful: the whole client journey under one login
Coachful ranks first because it is built for coaches who deliver programs, not only courses. One membership covers booking, payments, contracts, multi-week programs with habits and check-ins, courses, a community, a website with funnels and email, and an AI assistant called Michelle. Your client gets one branded app with everything in it.

For a Teachable user, the course part will feel familiar. Courses have modules, lessons, drip release and completion tracking, and there are 48 course templates with quizzes to start from. You can also sell downloads, videos, books, events and bundles. The difference is where the course lives: inside the client's branded home and app, next to their sessions, goals and check-ins, rather than in a separate school they log into once and forget. If you are rebuilding a course anyway, our guide to delivering online courses without Teachable covers lesson design and practice tasks.

Between sessions, where course platforms stop
Programs carry weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins, goals with progress bars, and streaks. When someone enrolls in a program, a cohort group is created automatically, with a community feed, group chat, direct messages and video events, so a group program does not need a separate community tool. More than 40 ready-to-film program templates give you a starting structure.

On your side, each client record holds goals, check-ins, habits, notes, intake answers, tags, payments, sessions and an AI briefing, and every client carries a status of thriving, active, quiet or at risk. That status is the thing a course dashboard cannot tell you: who stopped doing the work in week three, before they ask for a refund.

Booking, agreements and payments in the same place
Booking pages support availability rules, buffers, minimum notice and time-zone detection, with two-way sync to Google, Apple/iCloud and Outlook calendars. Sessions use built-in video or automatically created Zoom, Google Meet or Teams links. Reminders go by email, plus SMS 24 hours before and WhatsApp 1 hour before once messaging is enabled. You can add intake questions to a booking, sell paid sessions or session credits, and assign multi-coach session types by round-robin or least-busy rules. More on this on the scheduling software page.

Coaching agreements with e-signature go out before the first call and are stored on the client record (see coaching contracts). Payments run through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account: one-time charges, subscriptions, payment plans, order bumps, coupons, refunds, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Stripe Tax, with an invoice per transaction plus manual invoices. Since August 2026 the Coachful platform fee is 0%, so you pay only Stripe or Razorpay processing. Teachable's Starter plan, by comparison, adds a 7.5% transaction fee on top of processing.
The rest of the stack is there too: a section-based website builder with a blog, custom domain and 30 designed homepage templates; booking, application, lead-magnet and checkout funnels; email broadcasts and multi-step sequences with branching and A/B splits; and ICF credential tracking that counts coaching hours against ACC, PCC and MCC thresholds (ICF hour tracking). Michelle works from your live practice data: it builds programs, drafts emails and content, summarizes recorded sessions and briefs you before each call; questions and planning are included in your Coachful membership, and confirmed builds use AI credits.
This walkthrough shows how a program is built and what the client sees once enrolled:
What Coachful does not do
- It is not HIPAA-certified and does not sign a BAA, so it is not for clinical record-keeping or insurance billing.
- There is no PayPal. If many of your Teachable buyers pay with PayPal, plan to move them to cards, Apple Pay or Google Pay.
- It is not a course marketplace, and it has no third-party plugins.
- The client app ships under the Coachful listing with your branding, not under your own App Store account.
- The affiliate program tracks links, clicks, conversions and revenue, but payouts are recorded manually.
- There is no permanent free plan; there is a free trial.
Plans are flat monthly prices. Lower plans cap the number of clients, Pro is unlimited, team plans (Studio and Agency) add coach seats, and monthly plans cancel in one click. Current plans: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients. On Trustpilot, Coachful holds 4.5 from 21 reviews, a small base next to the older platforms below.
Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. From Create > We'll build it for you · FREE, or the "Want us to build it for you?" card on the Website, Funnels and Programs pages, you describe what you want and attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files such as your logo, photos, brand guide or existing course outline. The Coachful team builds it inside your own account, usually within about 24 hours. For a coach leaving Teachable, a sensible request is a program built from your current course outline plus a sales page and an email sequence (for courses, the team writes the outline and written material; you record the videos). Nothing is invented: no fake credentials, testimonials or prices, and gaps are left for you to fill. Logo design, ad management and ongoing marketing are not included. One recent build: a somatic coach leaving Kajabi had the homepage and About page rebuilt and the contact form connected. Read more about the white-glove build service.

In short: Coachful is a coaching platform for coaches who deliver programs, solo coaches growing into a small team, and anyone replacing four to six tools. It is not a clinical records system, a course marketplace or a general website builder. To start, open a free trial, then request the white-glove build for your site, funnel or first program; your clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding. See the Teachable alternative page for a side-by-side summary.
Kajabi (#2): is the premium course suite worth the jump?
Kajabi is the closest all-in-one replacement if your business is courses plus a community and you want website, funnels and email in the same bill. It costs more than Teachable at every tier, and it still treats coaching as a product rather than a client relationship.

As listed in October 2026, Basic is $179 a month ($143 billed annually) and includes 5 products, 2,500 contacts, 1 community, 1 website, 2 admin users and no AI credits. Growth is $249 ($199 annually) with 50 products, 25,000 contacts, 11 admin users and 500 AI credits. Pro is $499 ($399 annually) with unlimited products, 100,000 contacts, 3 communities and 3 websites.
Kajabi Payments in the US charges 2.9% + $0.30 on Basic, falling to 2.7% + $0.30 on Pro. Use a different processor (other than PayPal) and Kajabi adds its own fee of 2% on Basic, 1% on Growth or 0.5% on Pro. The standard trial is 14 days; a card is optional, but if you enter one Kajabi places an authorization hold and charges when the trial ends, and some features such as bulk contact import and test emails stay locked until you activate a paid plan.
- Strong on courses, community, website, funnels and email in one place.
- No habit tracking or daily client check-ins; coaching runs through products and communities, not per-client plans.
- Trustpilot shows 3.4 from 2,347 reviews (seen October 2026).
Our Kajabi vs. Teachable guide goes deeper on the course side, and Kajabi alternatives for coaches covers what people leave it for.
Pick it over Coachful if your revenue is mostly courses sold to a large audience, you want a mature course and community suite, and 1:1 coaching is a small side offer you are happy to run with an outside booking tool.
Why Podia ranks #3 for coaches with a small catalog
Podia is the gentlest step down from Teachable: a simple storefront for courses, downloads, webinars, coaching sessions and a community, with less to configure. It suits a coach who sells a handful of products and wants the store to stay out of the way.

The October 2026 pricing page lists Mover at $49 a month ($42 annually) with 50 products, 500 videos, 25 community spaces and 100 email subscribers included, plus a 5% Podia transaction fee. Shaker is $99 ($84 annually) with 150 products, 500 email subscribers, one assistant and no Podia fee. Earthquaker is $179 ($150 annually) with unlimited products, videos, spaces and assistants and 1,000 email subscribers. Stripe or PayPal processing (2.9% + 30¢ standard) sits on top. The trial is 14 days with full access and no card or plan selection required.
The catch for coaches is depth. Email allowances are small for anyone with a real list, and our September 2026 profile found no mobile app and no native video calls, so sessions still run on another video tool. There are no client habits, check-ins or per-client plans. Public reviewers on Trustpilot give it 4.1 from 153 reviews.
Podia makes sense when you would otherwise be on Teachable Starter paying 7.5% on sales: Shaker removes the platform fee entirely and includes 100 community spaces.
Pick it over Coachful if you sell a few digital products and the occasional paid call, you have no between-session work for clients, and the simplest possible storefront matters more than client management.
LearnWorlds at #4: the strongest pure course builder here
If your honest answer to question one was "self-paced learning", LearnWorlds is the most capable course engine in this list. It adds a website builder, funnels, SCORM support and interactive video, and it is aimed at people who design learning experiences rather than book calls.

As listed in October 2026, Starter costs $29 a month ($24 annually) for 1 admin, 1,000 active learners a month and 300 AI credits, but charges $5 per paid enrollment. Pro Trainer at $99 ($79 annually) removes that fee and adds 5 admins, 2,000 active learners a month, 20 SCORM packages, 15 page funnels and 2,000 mass emails a month. Learning Center at $299 ($249 annually) adds 25 admins, up to 10 client groups and 5,000 mass emails. Stripe or PayPal gateway fees of 2.9% + $0.30 apply on every plan.
The 30-day trial includes core features, and LearnWorlds pages say no card is required; note that the school is scheduled for deletion if you do not upgrade. A branded mobile app is a separately priced add-on. SCORM, for context, is a standard for packaging e-learning content so it can move between learning systems (Wikipedia's SCORM overview explains it), which matters mostly if you sell into companies.
For coaches, the limit is clear: it is not built for 1:1 client management, habits or check-ins. Trustpilot shows 4.8 from 423 reviews. Our roundup of course platforms for life coaches compares it with other course-first tools.
Pick it over Coachful if you build polished self-paced or corporate training, need SCORM or interactive video, and coach few or no clients 1:1.
Is Thinkific (#5) a better course home than Teachable?
For course creators, often yes; for coaches, only partly. Thinkific gives you higher student allowances, communities and live events on its entry plan, but it shares Teachable's main gap: coaching calls still need outside booking.

As listed in October 2026, Start costs $109 a month ($82 annually) with 10,000 current students, 2 admins, 1 community with 10 spaces, 5 live community events, 200 GB a month of video bandwidth and a maximum group size of 50. Grow is $219 ($164 annually) with 6 admins and 3 communities, and Expand is $499 ($374 annually). Prices rose about 10% on August 13, 2026, when Start went from $99 to $109.
There is no Thinkific transaction fee when you use Thinkific Payments, which charges in line with other processors at 2.9%. Third-party Stripe or PayPal gateways carry an extra per-plan gateway fee that the pricing page does not list. Every self-serve plan has a 30-day trial. The branded mobile app is a $199-a-month add-on.
- Our September 2026 profile found no built-in 1:1 scheduling; coaching relies on external booking links.
- No client habits, daily check-ins or per-client plans.
- Trustpilot shows 1.8 from 868 reviews (seen October 2026), the lowest score in this list.
Pick it over Coachful if you run a large course business with thousands of students, want communities and live events alongside courses, and already have a booking tool you like for the few calls you take.
Systeme.io, #6: the lowest-cost way off Teachable
Systeme.io is the budget answer. It bundles funnels, email, courses, a community, a blog and an affiliate program, and its free plan never expires.

The October 2026 pricing page lists a Free plan with 2,000 contacts, 3 funnels, 1 course, 500 students, 1 blog, 1 custom domain, 1 automation rule and 1 email campaign, and "No credit card required" under every sign-up button. Startup is $17 a month with 5,000 contacts, 10 funnels and 5 courses; Webinar is $47 with 10,000 contacts and 20 courses; Unlimited is $97 with unlimited contacts, funnels, courses and automation rules. There are 0% transaction fees on every plan, including the free one, so you pay only Stripe or PayPal processing.
The savings come with trade-offs. Our September 2026 profile found no native 1:1 scheduling with client records, habits or check-ins, basic community and course features, and no branded mobile app. Public reviewers rate it highly, with 4.9 from 8,696 reviews on Trustpilot, mostly for value.
A common setup is Systeme.io for funnels and email, plus a separate booking tool and an e-signature app for clients. That works, but count those extra subscriptions under question four. If funnels are the reason you are looking, our ClickFunnels alternatives for coaches roundup compares the funnel side in more detail.
Pick it over Coachful if you are pre-revenue, need a working funnel, email list and starter course at the lowest possible cost, and can live with booking and client management elsewhere.
What does Kartra (#7) add for funnel-heavy coaches?
Kartra adds marketing depth: pages, funnels, email and SMS, memberships, calendars and a helpdesk in one suite. It is a marketing machine more than a delivery tool, and its entry plan is tight.

As listed in October 2026, Essentials costs $59 a month ($52 annually) with 500 contacts, 5 pages, 1 product, 1 membership or course, 10,000 emails a month, 30 AI uses and a 5% transaction fee. Starter at $119 ($99 annually) moves to 2,500 contacts, unlimited pages, products and memberships, unlimited email and SMS, 5 team members and no transaction fee. Growth is $229 ($189 annually) with 12,500 contacts and 3 domains, and Professional is $549 ($429 annually). Every plan has a 14-day trial and a 30-day money-back guarantee.
For a coach moving off Teachable with more than one offer, Essentials is effectively a trial tier: one product and 500 contacts run out quickly. Our September 2026 profile found no mobile app for students or admins, and noted that funnels and memberships are not portable to other platforms, which raises the cost of leaving later. There are no client habits, check-ins or per-client coaching plans. Trustpilot shows 3.2 from 129 reviews.
Pick it over Coachful if your growth depends on complex sales funnels, email and SMS campaigns and a support helpdesk, and you deliver coaching mainly through memberships rather than individual programs.
Stan Store at number 8: selling straight from a link in bio
Stan Store is a link-in-bio storefront for digital products, courses, memberships and paid calls. For coaches whose buyers arrive from Instagram or TikTok, it removes almost all setup.

The October 2026 page lists two plans. Creator is $29 a month ($25 annually) with unlimited products and customers and one store. Creator Pro is $99 ($79 annually) and is where email marketing, upsells, discount codes and affiliates live. Stan takes 0% of sales ("keep 100% of every sale"); standard Stripe or PayPal processing applies. Both plans have a 14-day trial, and the first month is charged when it ends.
The gaps show up once a buyer becomes a client. There are no contracts, invoices or client records, so it is not a CRM; there are no programs with client tasks, habits or check-ins; and no team seats are advertised. Trustpilot shows 4.7 from 2,205 reviews.
Stan works best as the front door to a coaching business rather than the house itself. If your audience lives on social, the comparison to make is between Stan's storefront and the link-in-bio page that sells inside a full coaching platform.
Pick it over Coachful if nearly all your sales come from social media, you sell low-ticket products and quick calls, and you do not need agreements or ongoing client tracking.
Mighty Networks (#9) for community-led programs
Mighty Networks combines community, courses and live events, with member apps under the Mighty brand. It suits a coach whose program is mostly group conversation and live sessions.

As listed in October 2026, Launch costs $95 a month ($79 annually) with 3 hosts, 10 moderators, 200 GB of storage and 20 hours a month of livestreaming for up to 100 attendees. Scale is $215 ($179 annually) with 5 hosts, 500 GB and 30 livestream hours for 200 attendees. Growth is listed at $354 a month billed annually, and Mighty Pro is custom-priced. Mighty takes a platform fee of 2% on Launch, 1% on Scale and 0.5% on Growth and Mighty Pro, plus Stripe processing. The 14-day trial needs no card and includes Growth features.
Your own branded apps are only on Mighty Pro. There is no 1:1 scheduling, invoicing or contracts, and no per-client habits, check-ins or private coaching plans. Trustpilot shows 3.3 from 219 reviews, the same score as Teachable's 3.3 from 1,110. The group coaching software page explains what a cohort program needs beyond a feed.
Pick it over Coachful if you run large, community-first memberships where livestreams and member discussion are the product, and private 1:1 work is rare.
Circle, ranked #10: when the community is what people pay for
Circle is a community platform with courses, events, live streams and paid memberships. It ranks last here because it replaces Teachable's course side only partly and none of the coaching back office.

Our October 2026 data shows annual-billing prices only: Professional at $89 a month (3 admins, 10 moderators, 2,500 AI credits a month), Business at $199, Scale at $419, and custom-priced Circle Plus with unlimited admins, moderators and spaces. Monthly prices were not listed in the data we checked, so confirm them before you budget. Circle charges a payment fee of 2% on Professional, 1% on Business and Scale, and 0.5% on Circle Plus, plus Stripe processing. The 14-day trial needs no card.
Branded mobile apps are only on Circle Plus. There is no 1:1 scheduling or client management back office, and no per-client habits, check-ins or coaching plans. Trustpilot shows 4.1 from 129 reviews. Our Circle alternatives and Skool alternatives guides cover the community category in depth.
Pick it over Coachful if a polished, discussion-heavy community is the main thing members pay for, you want deep moderation tools, and coaching sessions happen elsewhere or not at all.
Which features does each Teachable alternative include?
Only one platform on this list covers 1:1 booking, between-session habits and check-ins, courses and community together. "Not listed" means the feature did not appear in the vendor data we checked in October 2026; it may exist, so ask the vendor.
| Platform | 1:1 booking built in | Habits and check-ins | Courses | Community | Email sequences | Client or student app | Platform fee, entry plan |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes | Partial (your branding in the Coachful app) | 0% |
| Teachable (for reference) | No | No | Yes | Not listed | Not listed | Yes | 7.5% |
| Kajabi | Not listed | No | Yes | Yes | Yes | Not listed | 0% on Kajabi Payments |
| Podia | Partial (sells sessions) | No | Yes | Yes | Partial (small allowances) | No | 5% |

Teachable's booking cell and the "No" scheduling cells for Thinkific and Systeme.io come from our September 2026 profiles; everything else is as listed in October 2026.
What will each option cost at 5, 15 and 40 clients?
Most course platforms cost the same at 5 clients as at 40, because they price by products, contacts or learners; the coaching-specific tools they lack are the real extra cost. The table uses monthly billing, as listed in October 2026, and excludes payment processing.

| Platform | 5 clients | 15 clients | 40 clients | Still needed for 1:1 coaching |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful | Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients | Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients | Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients | Nothing for booking, agreements or check-ins |
| Teachable | $39 + 7.5% fee, or $89 at 0% | $39 + 7.5% fee, or $89 at 0% | $39 + 7.5% fee, or $89 at 0% | Booking, e-signature, check-ins |
| Kajabi | $179 | $179 | $179 | Booking (not listed), check-ins |
| Podia | $49 + 5% fee, or $99 | $49 + 5% fee, or $99 | $49 + 5% fee, or $99 | Video calls, e-signature, check-ins |
| LearnWorlds | $54 (example: $29 + 5 paid enrollments) | $99 (Pro Trainer beats $29 + 15 enrollments) | $99 | Booking, client records, check-ins |
| Thinkific | $109 | $109 | $109 | Booking, e-signature, check-ins |
| Systeme.io | $0 to $17 | $0 to $17 | $0 to $17 | Booking, client records, check-ins |
| Kartra | $59 + 5% (1 product), or $119 | $119 | $119 | E-signature, check-ins |
| Stan Store | $29, or $99 with email | $29, or $99 with email | $29, or $99 with email | Contracts, invoices, client records |
| Mighty Networks | $95 + 2% fee | $95 + 2% fee | $95 + 2% fee | Booking, invoicing, contracts |
| Circle | $89 + 2% (annual billing) | $89 + 2% (annual billing) | $89 + 2% (annual billing) | Booking, client management |
The LearnWorlds figures are an example that assumes each client buys one enrollment that month. Kartra's jump to Starter assumes you sell more than one product. Fees in percentages apply to your sales, so on Teachable Starter a month with $3,000 in course sales would add $225 in platform fees (an illustrative figure), which is more than the $50 gap to Builder.

For the full fee breakdown, including PayPal rates, the $15 chargeback fee and the optional BackOffice fee of 2% to 2.8%, see our Teachable pricing guide and the Teachable review.
What red flags and switching costs should you watch for?
The biggest switching cost is rebuilding content and moving paying customers, not the new subscription. Check these before you commit to any platform.
- Course exports are partial. Our September 2026 Teachable profile found that students and course or sales reports export to CSV, but video content is downloaded manually and there is no bulk course export. Budget time to re-upload lessons, or see delivering video courses without Teachable.
- Fees that stack. Percentage fees (Teachable Starter 7.5%, Podia Mover 5%, Kartra Essentials 5%, Mighty Networks and Circle 2% on entry plans) sit on top of processing. Kajabi adds 0.5% to 2% if you use a processor other than Kajabi Payments or PayPal.
- Caps that bite at growth. Kajabi Basic stops at 2,500 contacts, Kartra Essentials at 500, LearnWorlds counts active learners per month, and Podia's email allowances start at 100 subscribers.
- Apps priced separately. Thinkific's branded app is a $199-a-month add-on, LearnWorlds prices its app separately, and Mighty Networks and Circle keep branded apps on custom-priced tiers.
- Trial traps. Kajabi may place a card hold, and LearnWorlds schedules a school for deletion if you do not upgrade. Note the end date before you start.
- Lock-in by design. Our September 2026 profile notes Kartra funnels and memberships are not portable. Prefer platforms that export client data in full; data portability is a recognized principle in privacy law (Wikipedia on data portability).
- Payment method mismatch. Teachable supports PayPal; Coachful does not. Ask how active subscriptions and payment plans move, since buyers may need to re-enter card details.
If you choose Coachful, the move usually looks like this:
- Export from Teachable. Download your student CSV and sales reports, and gather your lesson videos and worksheets.
- Hand over the import. Clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding, and you can request a white-glove build for the website or sales page at the same time.
- Turn the course into a program. Keep the lessons, then add a weekly goal, one or two habits and a morning or evening check-in per week. The client now sees today's task, not just the next video.
- Connect payments and booking. Link your Stripe Connect or Razorpay account, sync your calendar and set availability. Clients book from your page, sign the agreement before the first call and get reminders.
- Invite clients. Each client lands in one branded app with sessions, program, course, community and progress in one place, while you watch their status on the client record.

If they buy coaching, with sessions, programs and work between calls, Coachful replaces Teachable and the tools around it with one login and one client app, and the free white-glove build takes most of the setup off your plate. If they buy courses, the honest answers are elsewhere: Kajabi for a premium course-and-community suite, LearnWorlds for the deepest course builder, Podia for a simple storefront, and Systeme.io when cost is the deciding factor. Stan Store fits a social-first seller, Kartra a funnel-first marketer, and Mighty Networks or Circle a business where the community is the product.
Whichever way you go, run your five answers against two shortlisted platforms during their trials, with one real client journey from booking to the second week of work. Our course platform for coaches page and the comparison hub are good next stops.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best Teachable alternative for coaches?
For coaches who sell sessions and programs, Coachful is our pick, because booking, agreements, payments, programs with habits and check-ins, courses and community share one login. For coaches who mainly sell self-paced courses, Kajabi, LearnWorlds or Podia are closer like-for-like swaps. We make Coachful, so test two options with a real client journey.
Is there a Teachable alternative with built-in scheduling?
Yes. Coachful includes booking pages with calendar sync, video links and reminders. Kartra lists calendars, and Podia and Stan Store sell paid sessions, but our data does not show the same client records and check-ins around those bookings.
Which Teachable alternative is cheapest?
Systeme.io has a free plan that never expires, and its Startup plan is $17 a month as listed in October 2026. Stan Store and LearnWorlds start at $29, though LearnWorlds Starter adds $5 per paid enrollment. Add the cost of the booking, contract and email tools each one leaves out before deciding.
Can I move my Teachable courses to another platform?
Partly. Our September 2026 profile found that Teachable exports students and reports to CSV, but videos are downloaded manually and there is no bulk course export. Plan time to re-upload lessons, or choose a platform that imports content for you during onboarding.
Does Coachful take a cut of my sales?
No. Since August 2026 the Coachful platform fee is 0%, and you pay only Stripe or Razorpay processing on your own account. Teachable's Starter plan adds 7.5% on top of processing.
What is Coachful's free white-glove service?
From Create > We'll build it for you · FREE, you describe a website, funnel, program, course outline, email sequence or other asset and attach up to 8 links and 10 files. The Coachful team builds it inside your account, usually within about 24 hours, without inventing credentials, testimonials or prices. It does not cover recording videos, logo design or ad management.
Does Coachful support PayPal like Teachable?
No. Coachful takes payments through Stripe Connect or Razorpay, including cards, Apple Pay and Google Pay. If many of your buyers use PayPal, plan how to move them before you switch.
Is Teachable still a good choice for coaches?
It is a sound choice if courses are your main product and coaching is a small add-on. Its Builder plan removes the transaction fee and adds an affiliate program. Coaches who run 1:1 or group programs usually end up adding booking, e-signature and check-in tools around it.
Is Coachful HIPAA-compliant?
Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and does not sign a BAA, so it is not for clinical records or insurance billing. Coaching is not treatment; health coaches should refer clients to licensed clinicians for diagnosis or treatment. The platform is GDPR-ready and exports full client data as a ZIP.
