How to Start a Holistic Health Coaching Business in 2026

Here is how to start a holistic health coaching business: choose one specific client and outcome, package your coaching as a 12-week program instead of single sessions, set prices from an income target, register the business and buy professional liability insurance, put booking, payments, agreements and program delivery in one platform, then win your first ten clients through referral partners and real conversations before you spend on ads. Working part time, you can finish the setup in four to six weeks and aim for paying clients inside 90 days.
This guide assumes you have already decided to coach. If you are still choosing training, read how to become a holistic health coach and our comparison of holistic health coach certification programs first. What follows is the business side: offers, pricing math, legal setup with official sources, the tech stack, a client-getting plan, a 90-day launch and the mistakes that stall new practices. We make Coachful, the coaching platform used as the home base in this guide, and we say plainly where it fits and where it does not.
What are the steps, at a glance?
There are ten steps, and only two of them (registration and insurance) depend on anyone other than you. Times overlap; the table shows a realistic solo pace.
| Step | What you produce | Time | Typical cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| 1. Pick a niche | One-sentence positioning: who, what change, how | 1 week | $0 |
| 2. Design 2 or 3 offers | Signature 1:1 program, group cohort, follow-on membership | 1 to 2 weeks | $0 |
| 3. Set prices | Price sheet built from your income math | 1 day | $0 |
| 4. Register the business | Sole proprietorship or LLC, plus an EIN | 1 day to 2 weeks | EIN $0 from the IRS; state LLC fees vary |
| 5. Insure it | Professional liability policy | About 1 week | Quote-based; get 2 or 3 quotes |
| 6. Write your agreement | Coaching agreement with a scope and referral clause | 1 week | $0 with a template; attorney review extra |
| 7. Set up your platform | Booking, payments, agreements, programs, client app | 1 to 2 weeks | Monthly subscription (see the stack section) |
| 8. Launch a website | 3 to 5 pages, every button leading to a free consult | 1 week, overlapping step 7 | Domain, example $10 to $20 a year |
| 9. Find your first 10 clients | Referral partners, warm outreach, one workshop or challenge | 4 to 8 weeks | $0 to a small ad test |
| 10. Deliver and retain | Habits, check-ins, community, an alumni offer | Ongoing | Your time |
Is holistic health coaching a viable business?
Yes, when you narrow it. "Holistic wellness for everyone" is hard to sell because nobody searches for it and nobody recognises themselves in it; "sleep and energy coaching for women in perimenopause" or "stress and eating habits for burned-out nurses" is easy to refer to and easy to buy.
Who actually pays
In most cases the client pays privately, so your marketing has to reach the person who feels the problem, not a third party. There are three other payers worth knowing about:
- Employers and teams that run wellness workshops, lunch-and-learns or stress programs for staff.
- Studios and practitioners (yoga and Pilates studios, massage therapists, acupuncturists, chiropractors, functional medicine practices) who want a lifestyle-change offer to sit alongside their own work and will refer or co-sell.
- Retreat and event organisers who book a coach for a workshop block and send attendees to a follow-on program.
How to test demand before you build
We are not going to quote a market-size figure, because a national number tells you nothing about whether your specific client will pay you. Run three cheaper tests instead:
- Adjacent spending. Is your client already paying for related things: studio memberships, supplements, retreats, apps, books? People who already spend on the problem are easier to convert.
- Questions in the wild. Collect 30 questions your client asks in Facebook groups, Reddit threads, podcast comments or your own inbox. If you cannot find 30, the niche may be too small or too vague.
- Ten conversations. Ask ten people who fit your description what they have tried, what it cost and what they would pay to solve it. Write their words down; they become your sales page.

Scope and credentials
Coaching is not medical treatment. A holistic health coach helps clients build habits, routines and self-awareness around food, movement, sleep, stress and relationships; they do not diagnose, treat, cure or prescribe, and they refer clients to a doctor, dietitian or mental health professional when something falls outside coaching. Put that line on your website, in your agreement and in your intake form. Rules on individualised nutrition advice differ by state and country, so check your local rules and ask an attorney if your offer includes meal plans or supplement guidance. Our post on mental-health warning signs in coaching covers when and how to refer.
Credentials affect who will refer to you. Clinics and employers sometimes ask for national board certification; individual clients rarely do. If you are deciding between programs, our guide to health coach certification: NBHWC vs ACE vs the rest compares them, so we will not repeat it here.
Who is your client, and what will you sell them?
Your client is one person with one problem you can describe in their words, and your offer is a structured program that gets them a specific change over a set number of weeks. Packages beat single sessions because habit change takes repetition, and because a program gives you predictable revenue.
Use this positioning sentence: I help [specific person] go from [current state] to [desired state] in [time frame] through [your method]. For example: "I help women in perimenopause go from wired-and-tired evenings to steady energy and better sleep in 12 weeks through daily rhythm habits, nervous-system practices and food routines that fit family life."
Here are three example packages that work together. The prices are illustrative examples for the math below, not market rates; set yours with the method in the next section.
Package 1: Signature 12-week 1:1 program (example: $900)
- Six 50-minute calls (every other week) plus an intake session.
- Weekly goals and daily habits in the client app: a morning and evening check-in, a sleep or stress habit, one food habit at a time.
- Weekly written check-in reviewed by you, with a short reply.
- Resources unlocked by week: a sleep wind-down guide, a grocery template, a breathing audio.
Package 2: Eight-week group cohort (example: $350 per person)
- Eight weekly 75-minute group calls for 8 to 15 people on one theme (sleep, stress, seasonal reset).
- A private cohort group for questions and wins between calls.
- The same habit and check-in structure as the 1:1 program, without individual calls.
Package 3: Alumni membership (example: $79 a month)
- One monthly group call, the community feed and a new habit focus each month.
- Offered only to people who finish Package 1 or 2, so it keeps results going instead of replacing the program.

For the week-by-week build of the program itself, read how to create a health coaching program clients can keep.
How should you price holistic health coaching?
Price from the income you need and the hours you can coach, not from what a coach on Instagram charges. Work out your monthly target, add business costs and a tax set-aside, then divide by realistic client capacity.
Two tax facts belong in the math. In the US, self-employment tax is 15.3% (12.4% Social Security plus 2.9% Medicare), and you owe it once net self-employment earnings reach $400, according to the IRS self-employment tax page. Income tax comes on top, which is why many coaches set aside a fixed share of every payment; ask an accountant what share fits your situation.
A simple formula: price per client per month = (income target + monthly costs + tax set-aside) ÷ number of clients you can serve well. If you want $4,000 a month take-home, have $300 in costs and set aside 30% of revenue, you need roughly $6,150 in gross revenue ($4,300 ÷ 0.70). The table below shows three ways to reach a similar number with the example packages above.
| Path (illustrative) | Offer mix, example prices | Example monthly gross | Estimated delivery time per week |
|---|---|---|---|
| A: all 1:1 | 17 active clients in the $900, 12-week program (about $300 per client per month) | $5,100 | About 13 hours (8 to 9 calls plus check-in replies) |
| B: group-led | One cohort of 15 at $350 every 8 weeks ($2,625 a month) plus 25 members at $79 ($1,975) | $4,600 | About 6 hours (one group call, community time, monthly member call) |
| C: blended | 10 one-to-one clients ($3,000) plus a cohort of 12 every 8 weeks ($2,100) plus 15 members ($1,185) | $6,285 | About 12 hours |
These are examples, not forecasts; card processing fees and taxes come out of the gross. Path C is a sensible target after a year: 1:1 work for depth and referrals, groups to serve more people per hour, a membership so finished clients do not disappear. Start with Path A while you learn what your clients need, then add the cohort once you have run the program five or six times.
What legal setup does a holistic health coaching business need?
At minimum: a business structure, a tax ID, an understanding of your tax deadlines, professional liability insurance, a signed coaching agreement with a clear scope, honest marketing and a sensible approach to client data. Everything below is US-focused; requirements vary by state and country, so check with an accountant or attorney before you rely on it.
Business structure
The SBA explains that a sole proprietorship is automatic if you do business without registering another structure, offers no separate entity (so you can be personally liable for business debts) and is "a good choice for low-risk businesses and owners who want to test their business idea." An LLC protects owners from personal liability "in most instances," and its members still pay self-employment tax. An LLC can later elect S corporation tax treatment on IRS Form 2553. See the SBA guide to choosing a business structure. A common path is to start as a sole proprietor and form an LLC once revenue is steady; an attorney can tell you whether your state makes that sensible.
EIN and taxes
- EIN. The IRS issues an employer identification number online "in minutes for free," and you never pay a fee for one. Form your LLC with the state first if you are using one. Source: IRS, get an EIN.
- Schedule C. Sole proprietors report business income and expenses on Schedule C (Form 1040). Source: IRS, about Schedule C.
- Estimated taxes. If you expect to owe $1,000 or more when you file, you generally must pay quarterly estimates (IRS, estimated taxes). For 2026 tax year income, the remaining due date is January 15, 2027, per Form 1040-ES (2026); that payment is not required if you file your 2026 return by February 1, 2027 and pay the full balance.
Licences and permits
"Most small businesses need a combination of licenses and permits from both federal and state agencies," and requirements depend on what you do and where, says the SBA licences and permits section. Check your Secretary of State, county and city websites, and confirm whether your state regulates individualised nutrition advice before you sell meal plans.
Insurance
Professional liability insurance is for "businesses that provide services to customers" and "protects against financial loss as a result of malpractice, errors, and negligence," according to the SBA business insurance section. The SBA also notes that an LLC's protection of personal property "has limits," which is why coaches usually carry both. If you teach movement classes or host in-person retreats, ask your insurer about general liability as well.
Coaching agreement
Your agreement should cover the program length and what is included, payment terms and refunds, cancellation and rescheduling, confidentiality and its limits, the scope line (coaching is not medical or psychological treatment) and a referral clause. Send it before the first call and keep the signed copy on the client record. In Coachful, coaching agreements with e-signature go out before the first session and are stored on the client record.

Testimonials and marketing claims
Health marketing is where new coaches get into trouble. The FTC's Endorsement Guides FAQ says endorsements "must be honest and not misleading," and that testimonials showing exceptional results need proof that they are what people generally achieve, or a clear statement of typical results. The Consumer Reviews and Testimonials Rule, in effect since October 21, 2024, prohibits fake reviews and paying for reviews that must be positive. In practice: never promise weight loss, symptom relief or "healing," use real words from real clients with permission, and disclose any free or discounted coaching given in exchange for a review.
Email marketing
Your newsletter and nurture emails fall under CAN-SPAM: accurate sender details, honest subject lines, a valid postal address and an unsubscribe link that you honour within 10 business days. Penalties reach $53,088 per violating email, per the FTC CAN-SPAM compliance guide.
Client data
Ask only for what you need on intake (our health coaching intake form template shows eight sections), store it in one place, and do not paste health details into email threads. If you will work under contract with a clinic that requires HIPAA compliance or a business associate agreement, use the clinic's system for that work: Coachful is GDPR-ready but not HIPAA-certified and does not sign BAAs.
What tech stack do you need, and why make Coachful the home?
You need six jobs covered: booking, payments, agreements, program delivery (habits, check-ins, resources), community and a website with email. You can buy them as separate tools or run them from one platform; one platform means one login for you and one app for your client.

What Coachful is. Coachful is a coaching platform where one subscription covers booking, payments, coaching agreements, multi-week programs with habits and check-ins, courses, a community, a website with funnels and email, and an AI assistant called Michelle. You get one login; your client gets one app with your branding. It is built for coaches who deliver programs rather than one-off sessions, solo coaches growing into a small team, and coaches replacing four to six separate tools. It is a strong fit for holistic health coaches because the daily work of habit change (morning and evening check-ins, streaks, weekly goals) happens inside the same app as booking and payment. Coachful is based in Tallinn, Estonia, and is rated 4.5 on Trustpilot from 21 reviews.
Here is what it replaces if you would otherwise assemble separate tools. Stand-alone prices are as listed on each vendor's site in October 2026.
| Tool | Jobs covered | Price as listed, October 2026 |
|---|---|---|
| Coachful | Booking, payments, agreements, programs with habits and check-ins, courses, community, website, funnels, email, AI assistant, branded client app | Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients |
| Calendly (scheduling only) | Booking pages and reminders | Standard $10 per seat a month, billed annually |
| HoneyBook (client admin) | Proposals, contracts, invoices, scheduler | Essentials $59 a month ($49 billed annually) |
| Practice Better (practice management) | Scheduling, telehealth, charting, billing, programs | Professional $69 a month ($59 billed annually) |
| Kit (email) | Newsletter, sequences, landing pages | Creator from $39 a month for up to 1,000 subscribers |
| Kajabi (courses and community) | Courses, community, website, funnels, email | Basic $179 a month ($143 billed annually) |
A typical do-it-yourself stack (scheduler, admin tool, email tool and a course or community tool) adds up quickly, and each tool has its own login, client data and payment settings. With Coachful, payments run through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account with a 0% platform fee, so you pay only the processor's charges. Clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding.
Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. On every plan, you can open Create > We'll build it for you and describe what you want: a website, a funnel, a program, a course outline, an email sequence, an intake form or a lead quiz. Attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files (logo, photos, brand guide, existing copy), and the Coachful team builds it inside your own account, usually within about 24 hours. Nothing is invented: no fake credentials, testimonials or prices, and gaps are left for you to fill. One recent example: a menopause and midlife health coach starting from nothing received a five-page site in sage and cream where every button led to a free 20-minute consultation. The service does not cover recording videos, logo design, ad management or ongoing marketing. Read more about the free white-glove build.

This walkthrough shows how a multi-week program with weekly goals, daily tasks and habits is built in Coachful:
What Coachful does not do. It is not HIPAA-certified and is not meant for clinical record-keeping or insurance billing. It does not take PayPal and has no permanent free plan. It does not sync with Garmin, Fitbit, Whoop or Oura, and Apple Health sync is not publicly available, so wearable data stays in the client's own apps. The client app runs under the Coachful listing with your branding, not under your own App Store account. If your practice centres on clinical charting with practitioners who need clinical notes, Practice Better is designed around charting for wellness and nutrition practitioners and may suit you better; our roundup of the best health coaching software compares the options, and our post on when a health coach needs a second app covers chronic-condition tracking.
How to start. Begin a free trial, request the free white-glove build for your website or first program, and connect Stripe. See the Coachful page for health coaches for the niche setup, and the Fitness & Nutrition pack if you want nutrition targets, meal plans, recipes, food lookup and progress photos in the client app.
How do you set up your website, booking and payments?
Build a three-to-five-page site where every button leads to one action (a free consultation), connect a booking page with intake questions, and take payment through your own Stripe account at the point of purchase. Keep it that simple until you have ten clients.
Website
You need a homepage (who you help, the change, one call to action), an About page with your training and your scope line, a Work With Me page with your packages, a page for the free consult and a privacy policy. Coachful's section-based builder includes 30 designed homepage templates, a blog, SEO settings and a custom domain, and the free white-glove build can produce the whole site from your notes. Our health coach website guide goes page by page.

Booking
Create two session types: a free 20-to-30-minute consult and a paid program session. Set availability rules, buffers and minimum notice so clients cannot book you at 7 a.m. tomorrow. Coachful detects time zones, syncs two ways with Google, Apple/iCloud and Outlook calendars, creates Zoom, Meet or Teams links automatically (or uses built-in video), and sends email reminders plus SMS and WhatsApp reminders once messaging is enabled. Add three intake questions to the consult booking: what they want to change, what they have tried, and whether they are under a doctor's care for anything related.

Payments
Offer the program as one payment and as a payment plan; for the membership, use a subscription. Coachful supports one-time payments, subscriptions, payment plans, coupons, order bumps, refunds, Apple Pay and Google Pay, and Stripe Tax, with an invoice for each transaction. Session credits work well for clients who buy a block of follow-up calls after their program.

How do you get your first 10 holistic health coaching clients?
Your first ten clients almost always come from people who already know you and from practitioners who see your ideal client every week. Ads and content help later; conversations and referral partners work now.
Channels that fit holistic health coaching
- Warm network. Tell 50 people what you now do and who you help. Not a pitch: an announcement and a request for introductions.
- Referral partners. Yoga and Pilates studios, massage therapists, acupuncturists, chiropractors, doulas and functional medicine practices see clients who need help with habits between appointments. Offer a free workshop for their clients or a simple reciprocal referral arrangement.
- A free five-day challenge. A short challenge on one habit (an evening wind-down, a protein-first breakfast, a daily walk) run in a community group, ending with an invitation to a consult.
- Workplace talks. A 45-minute lunch-and-learn on sleep or stress for a local employer, with a sign-up sheet for a free consult.
- Local presence. Libraries, community centres and farmers' markets often host free wellness talks.
- Peer communities. Other coaches refer out clients who do not fit their niche; see the best coaching communities for health coaches.
Three scripts you can adapt
Warm announcement:
"I've finished my health coach training and I'm opening five spots in my 12-week program for women in perimenopause who feel wired at night and exhausted by 3 p.m. If that sounds like someone you know, would you pass on my details? Happy to do a free 20-minute call with them."
Referral partner email:
"I'm a holistic health coach working with [client] on sleep, stress and daily routines. Many of your clients probably hear 'you need to change your habits' and then go home alone with it. I'd like to offer a free 45-minute workshop for your clients next month, and I always refer anything medical or structural back to practitioners like you."
Consult close:
"From what you've told me, the program would work on your evening routine first, then food timing, then stress. It runs 12 weeks with six calls and daily check-ins in the app. I can't promise a specific result, but I can promise structure and support every week. Would you like to start on the 1st?"
For a full call structure, read our health coaching discovery call script. Avoid anything resembling a guaranteed outcome; the FTC warns consumers that offers promising guaranteed results or a "proven system" are a red flag (FTC consumer advice), and your prospects will notice.
Track every consult so you can see what converts. Coachful's Intakes page lists each consult call with totals, upcoming calls and conversion rate, and the Prospects view tracks leads from forms and lead magnets.

How do you deliver results and keep clients?
Results in holistic health coaching come from what clients do between sessions, so design your delivery around daily habits and quick check-ins, not around the call. Retention follows when clients see progress and feel noticed.

Daily habits and check-ins
Give each client one to three habits at a time, each tied to a weekly goal. A morning check-in (sleep quality, energy, intention) and an evening check-in (what went well, what got in the way) take under two minutes and give you a running picture of their week. In Coachful, programs carry weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins, goal progress bars and streaks.

Here is how check-ins are set up:
Notice who is drifting
Clients rarely quit loudly; they go quiet. Each Coachful client record shows goals, check-ins, habits, notes, intake answers and payments, and marks the client as thriving, active, quiet or at risk, so you can send a short note before a missed week becomes a cancelled program. Michelle, the built-in assistant, briefs you before each session from the client's live data.

Make the journey visible
Clients stay when they can see where they are. Show the program as a journey with weeks, sessions and progress in one place, and unlock resources (a sleep guide, recipes, a breathing audio) as they reach each stage.

Community and the alumni offer
Group cohorts and an alumni community give clients peers doing the same work. In Coachful, enrolling in a program creates the cohort group automatically, and the community feed, group chat and video events sit in the same app. Two weeks before a program ends, invite the client into the membership with one clear next focus. If you want to go deeper on keeping clients engaged, our guide to client health score audits shows how to weight engagement signals.

What does a 30/60/90-day launch plan look like?
Spend the first month on foundations, the second on conversations and your first clients, and the third on delivery, testimonials and your first group. The table assumes about 15 hours a week.
| Phase | Business setup | Offer and delivery | Getting clients |
|---|---|---|---|
| Days 1 to 30 | Choose structure, get an EIN, open a business bank account, request insurance quotes, draft your agreement | Write the positioning sentence, outline the 12-week program, set prices with the formula | Ten research conversations; list 20 possible referral partners; announce to your warm network |
| Days 31 to 60 | Platform set up with booking, payments and agreements; website live; first estimated tax plan with an accountant | Build week 1 to 4 of the program with habits and check-ins; run 2 or 3 clients at a founding price | Contact 20 partners, deliver 1 workshop, run 10 to 15 consults |
| Days 61 to 90 | Review costs and taxes set aside; decide on LLC if you started as sole proprietor | Finish weeks 5 to 12; collect honest feedback and permission-based testimonials | Open the first group cohort; launch a free five-day challenge; reach 10 paying clients |
For a more general 30-day version, see how to start a health coaching business, and for coaches who dread the technical side, starting a coaching business when you're not tech-savvy.
How much does it cost to start a holistic health coaching business?
Excluding training, a lean launch can stay in the low hundreds of dollars plus your monthly platform and insurance; a comfortable launch with a designer and attorney review costs a few thousand. The figures below are examples; get your own quotes.
| Item | Lean launch (example) | Comfortable launch (example) |
|---|---|---|
| Coachful (booking, payments, programs, website, email) | Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients | Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients |
| Entity and EIN | Sole proprietorship; EIN $0 | LLC; state filing fee varies by state |
| Professional liability insurance | Quote-based | Quote-based, higher limits plus general liability if you run in-person classes |
| Domain | $10 to $20 a year | $10 to $20 a year |
| Website and branding | Template plus the white-glove build: $0 | Logo from a designer: $300 to $1,000 |
| Agreement | Template you adapt: $0 | Attorney review: $300 to $800 |
| Bookkeeping | Spreadsheet: $0 | Bookkeeping software or bookkeeper: $30 to $150 a month |
| Marketing | Organic and partners: $0 | Small ad test: $200 a month |
| Example one-off total, before insurance and platform | About $10 to $20 | About $600 to $1,800 plus monthly bookkeeping and ads |
Our line-by-line coaching startup budget covers each item in more detail.
What mistakes should new holistic health coaches avoid?
The expensive mistakes are about scope, focus and follow-through, not about which logo you choose.
- Crossing into treatment. Saying you "heal" conditions, telling clients to stop medication or prescribing supplements for symptoms creates legal risk and harms clients. Refer.
- A niche nobody can repeat. If a friend cannot pass on your description in one sentence, they will not refer you.
- Selling single sessions. Habit change takes weeks; single sessions make results unlikely and revenue unpredictable.
- Pricing from fear. Run the formula. A price that cannot cover taxes and costs at full capacity is a hobby price.
- Assembling six tools before your first client. Every extra login is a place for clients to get lost. Start with one home.
- Silence between sessions. Clients who hear nothing for two weeks drift. Daily check-ins and a weekly reply fix most of it.
- Inflated testimonials. Before-and-after claims need to reflect typical results under FTC rules, and incentives for reviews must be disclosed.
- Forgetting estimated taxes. Set money aside from every payment and diary the IRS due dates.
- Skipping the agreement. No signed agreement means no clear refund, cancellation or scope terms when something goes wrong.
Frequently asked questions
Do I need a certification to start a holistic health coaching business?
Training makes you a better coach, and certification affects who will refer to you; clinics and employers may ask for national board certification. Check whether your state regulates individualised nutrition advice before offering meal plans. Our holistic health coach certification comparison helps you choose.
Should I form an LLC or start as a sole proprietor?
The SBA describes a sole proprietorship as a good choice for low-risk businesses testing an idea, while an LLC protects owners from personal liability in most instances. Many coaches start as sole proprietors with professional liability insurance and form an LLC when revenue is steady. Ask an accountant or attorney about your state's fees and taxes.
How much should I charge as a new holistic health coach?
Use the formula in this guide: income target plus costs plus tax set-aside, divided by the number of clients you can serve well. Price programs rather than hours, and offer a founding price to your first two or three clients in exchange for detailed feedback.
Can I work with clients who have medical conditions?
Yes, as long as you coach lifestyle habits alongside their medical care rather than treating the condition. Ask on intake whether they are under a doctor's care, never advise changes to medication, and refer when symptoms or questions fall outside coaching.
Is Coachful HIPAA compliant?
No. Coachful is GDPR-ready but not HIPAA-certified and does not sign business associate agreements, and it is not built for clinical record-keeping or insurance billing. If a clinic contract requires HIPAA compliance, use the clinic's system for that work.
What is Coachful's free white-glove service?
On every plan, you can ask the Coachful team to build your website, funnel, program, course outline, email sequence, forms and more inside your own account, usually within about 24 hours. You describe what you want and attach up to 8 links and 10 files; nothing is invented, and gaps are left for you. It does not include video recording, logo design, ads or ongoing marketing.
Can I sell group programs and a membership from the same place?
Yes. Coachful handles 1:1 programs, group cohorts with automatically created cohort groups, subscriptions for memberships, courses and a community feed in one client app. Current plans: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients.
Does Coachful connect to wearables like Oura or Fitbit?
No. There is no Garmin, Fitbit, Whoop or Oura sync, and Apple Health sync is not publicly available. Instead, ask clients to rate sleep and energy in a daily check-in.
How long does it take to get the first clients?
It depends on your niche, your network and how many conversations you have each week. The 30/60/90-day plan above puts founding clients in days 31 to 60 and aims for ten paying clients by day 90, driven by warm outreach and referral partners.
Where can I learn more about holistic coaching as a career?
Read what a holistic life coach does for the client's view of the role, and our list of the best books for health coaches for habits, sleep and behaviour change.
You now have the full path: a narrow niche, three linked packages, prices built from real math, a legal setup you can verify, one platform for the whole client journey and a 90-day plan. Start with the conversations; the rest of the business is easier once you know exactly who you are building it for.
