Did Practice.do shut down?

Yes. Practice shut down on 3 November 2025 after a failed acquisition process. CEO Julien Smith announced the wind-down in October 2025, users had roughly two weeks of notice, and there was no read-only mode. Accounts are locked and the pricing and features pages now return 404. Anything that was not exported, session notes and portal content included, is unrecoverable.

Can I import my Practice data into CoachAccountable?

Yes, if you exported before the shutdown. CoachAccountable built an automated importer for the Practice ZIP export in November 2025, and it also supports bulk CSV import. Practice allowed a CSV export from Settings while it was still online. Paperbell published a migration guide for Practice users too, though not an automated importer.

How much does CoachAccountable cost compared with Practice?

Practice ran $5 Basic, $60 Pro and $99 Teams with 3 seats. CoachAccountable is priced per active client: $20 for 2, $40 for 5, $70 for 10, $120 for 20, $200 for 35 and $250 for 50, topping out at $4,000/mo for 1,000 clients. Every tier includes unlimited coach and admin accounts, and no annual pricing is published.

Is CoachAccountable harder to use than Practice?

For most people, yes. Practice was praised for a clean, modern UI (4.8 on G2 from 64 reviews). CoachAccountable's most common complaint is a steep learning curve, with some reviewers calling the interface outdated or overwhelming. The payoff is depth: action items, metrics, worksheets, drip courses and follow-through reports that Practice never had.

Does CoachAccountable have a mobile app?

No. It is a web app, with an add-to-home-screen shortcut documented instead. Practice had an iOS app and a limited Android experience. If a native client app matters to you, Delenta (Premium and up), Simply.Coach and Coachful all ship iOS and Android apps.

Does CoachAccountable sync with Outlook?

Yes. CoachAccountable syncs with Google Calendar, Outlook and Apple iCal, and its booking widget embeds in your existing site for individual, group and recurring sessions. That fixes Practice's most frequent complaint: it only ever synced with Google Calendar and never shipped Outlook or Microsoft 365 support, despite years of requests from users on corporate calendars.
