Best App for Menopause Coaches: 5 Picks, Ranked for 2026

Best App for Menopause Coaches: 5 Picks, Ranked for 2026

The best app for menopause coaches is the one your clients will actually open at 6 a.m. after a bad night's sleep: it should ask them a two-minute check-in, show today's small habits, hold the lesson on protein or strength training they were meant to watch, and let them message you or the group without hunting through email. The deciding question is not which tool has the longest feature list. It is which app turns your perimenopause and menopause program into something a client does every day between calls, and whether that app connects to the place where you book, bill and keep notes.

Our pick is Coachful's client app. Clients install it on iPhone or Android, sign in, and see your branding, your program, their daily habits and check-ins, your courses, your community and their sessions in one place, while you run the whole practice from the same account behind it. We make Coachful, so weigh that, but the ranking below states its criteria openly and is honest about where the other four apps fit better.

This article is about the client's side: what women in midlife install on their phone and use week to week. If you are choosing the coach's back office first, read our guide to the best software for menopause coaches, then come back here.

What do menopause coaching clients actually do in an app each week?

They log how they are doing, practise a few small habits, learn in short pieces, and stay in touch with you and with other women going through the same thing. A menopause client rarely needs a complicated tool; she needs a reliable one that fits into a tired, busy morning.

Here is what that looks like in a typical 8 to 12 week midlife program, based on how menopause coaching is usually structured (see our explainer on what menopause coaching covers and where it stops):

  • Morning and evening check-ins. Sleep quality, energy, mood, hot flushes or night sweats, and a free-text note. The point is a pattern the client and coach can both see, not a diagnosis.
  • Daily habits. Protein at breakfast, a walk, two strength sessions a week, a screen-free wind-down, a glass of water before coffee. Habits work best when they are small and counted.
  • Short lessons. What perimenopause is, how sleep changes, why strength training matters in midlife, how to prepare questions for a doctor's appointment. Lessons should drip week by week so nobody is buried on day one.
  • Messaging. A quick "rough week, can we adjust?" to the coach, without waiting for the next call.
  • Community. Hearing that someone else has the same symptoms can matter as much as any lesson. A group feed or cohort chat does that.
  • Sessions. Booking the next call, seeing the pre-session task, joining the video link.
  • Progress. Streaks, goal progress bars, and a view of the last month so the client can see change that is easy to miss day to day.

Everything on that list is coaching support. None of it is medical treatment. A good app makes it easy for a client to bring a clear symptom log to her doctor; it should never make it look like the coach is managing her hormones. We cover the scope line in its own section further down.

Which menopause coaching app comes out on top at a glance?

Ranking criteria, in one line: one login for the whole client journey, daily delivery between sessions (habits, check-ins, lessons), community in the same app, how branded it feels, iPhone and Android availability, whether the coach's back office connects to it, total stack cost and setup effort.

How did we choose and rank these apps?

We looked only at tools whose clients get a real app on their phone, then ranked them on the client experience first and the coach's back office second. We did not test the apps hands-on for this article; we compared what each vendor documents on its own pages and what public reviewers report.

Several popular coaching tools dropped out at the first step because they have no native client app at all. Paperbell, Satori and CoachAccountable are all described in their older public profiles as having no native mobile app, which means clients use them through a mobile browser. That is workable for booking and paying, but weak for a daily check-in habit, because there is no app icon on the home screen pulling the client back. If you already use one of them, our pages on Paperbell alternatives and CoachAccountable alternatives go further.

Kajabi, Skool and Circle also have apps, but their focus is courses or community rather than per-client daily coaching, and Circle's own branded app sits on a custom-priced plan. We cover them where they belong, in our roundups of course platforms, community platforms and membership platforms for menopause coaches.

For the five that remained, these were the questions:

  1. Daily delivery. Can a client tick habits and complete morning and evening check-ins in the app, and can the coach see the results?
  2. Program and lesson access. Can lessons drip by week, and do they live in the same app as the habits?
  3. Messaging and community. Can clients message the coach and talk to a group without a second login?
  4. Progress. Are there goals, streaks or progress views a client can see?
  5. Branding. Does the app show the coach's brand, or the vendor's?
  6. Platforms. Is it on iPhone and Android?
  7. Back-office connection. Do booking, payments, contracts and notes feed into the same client record?
  8. Cost and setup. What does a 15-client practice pay once add-ons and platform fees are counted, and how long does setup take?

1. Coachful: the client app built around a daily menopause program

Coachful is the strongest choice for most menopause coaches because the client app carries the whole program: daily habits, morning and evening check-ins, drip lessons, community, messages, sessions and progress, all under one login that connects straight to the coach's booking, payments and notes.

A laptop on a kitchen counter showing a client's coaching hub with the next session and pre-session tasks
Coachful's client coaching hub, with the next session and its pre-session tasks, on a laptop beside a mug of herbal tea.

Coachful is a coaching platform built for coaches who deliver programs, not just sessions. One membership covers booking, payments, contracts, program delivery with habits and check-ins, courses, a community, a website with funnels and email, and an AI assistant. For the client, all of that shows up as one branded app. It suits solo menopause coaches, practitioners growing into a small team, and anyone currently juggling four to six tools. Coachful is based in Tallinn, Estonia, and is rated 4.5 on Trustpilot from 21 reviews as listed in October 2026.

What a client sees when she opens it

The client app is on iPhone and Android. Clients install the Coachful app and see your branding inside it; it is not published under your own App Store account. For most menopause coaches that is the right trade: your name, colours and program are what the client sees, and you skip the cost and review cycle of a separate app listing. Our guide to custom branded coaching apps explains when an app under your own listing is worth it.

Inside the app, a client gets:

  • Multi-week programs with weekly goals and daily tasks, so week three of a "Midlife Reset" program shows only week three's work.
  • Habits with counts and streaks, such as "protein at breakfast" or "strength session".
  • Morning and evening check-ins that you design, so you can ask about sleep, energy, mood and hot flushes in the client's own words.
  • Goals with progress bars, linked to the tasks and habits that move them.
  • Courses with modules, lessons, drip and completion tracking, plus downloads, videos, books and events delivered into the client's home and app.
  • Community: a feed, group chat, direct messages and video events, with cohort groups created automatically when someone enrols in a program.
  • Sessions: booking, reminders by email, and SMS (24 hours before) and WhatsApp (1 hour before) once messaging is enabled, with built-in video or an auto-created Zoom, Meet or Teams link.

How the coach's side feeds the app

Every check-in, habit tick and goal update lands on the client record, alongside intake answers, notes, tags, payments and sessions. Coachful marks each client as thriving, active, quiet or at risk, so a client who stops checking in during a rough patch of night sweats shows up as quiet before she drifts away. Before a call, Michelle, the built-in AI assistant, can brief you on that client from live practice data, and it can summarize recorded sessions afterwards.

Payments run through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account, with one-time payments, subscriptions, payment plans, coupons, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Coachful takes a 0% platform fee (since August 2026); only Stripe or Razorpay processing applies. A coaching agreement with e-signature goes out before the first call and stays on the client record, which matters in a niche where you want the client to have read, in writing, that coaching is not medical care. See coaching contracts for how that works.

Extras that suit midlife clients

Strength training and nutrition come up in almost every menopause program. The optional Fitness & Nutrition pack adds a workout builder with an illustrated exercise library, client workout logging with set history and PRs, nutrition targets up to calories and macros, meal plans, recipes, food lookup with barcode scanning, private progress photos and measurements, and weekly check-ins. You attach your own demo videos; there are no stock exercise videos. Details are on the fitness and nutrition page.

The AI Coach is an AI version of you that selected clients can chat with between sessions, configured by you. For a client who wakes at 3 a.m. and wants to revisit her wind-down plan, that can help, as long as you set it up to stay inside coaching topics and point health questions to her doctor. More on the AI coaching assistant page.

Here is a short walkthrough of how a coaching program is built and delivered in Coachful:

Limits to know before you commit

  • Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and does not sign a BAA. It is not for clinical record-keeping or insurance billing. If you also prescribe or chart as a clinician, keep clinical records elsewhere.
  • No Garmin, Fitbit, Whoop or Oura sync, and Apple Health sync is not publicly available. Sleep and activity are logged by the client in check-ins, not imported from a wearable.
  • No PayPal and no permanent free plan.
  • The app ships under the Coachful listing with your branding, not under your own developer account.

Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. On every plan, you can ask the Coachful team to build things inside your account: a website, a funnel, a program, a course outline and written material, a check-in flow, an email sequence and more. You describe what you want, attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files, and the team usually delivers within about 24 hours. Nothing is invented: no fake credentials, testimonials or prices, and gaps are left for you to fill. One recent build was for a menopause and midlife health coach starting from nothing, who got a five-page site in sage and cream with every button leading to a free 20-minute consultation. It does not include recording videos, logo design, ad management or ongoing marketing. Read more about the free white-glove service.

2. Mighty Networks: strongest when the community is the product

Mighty Networks makes sense for a menopause coach whose main offer is a large paid membership, where the group conversation, live events and courses matter more than any one client's daily habits.

Mighty Networks homepage promoting its community, courses and events platform
Mighty Networks's homepage in October 2026.

The platform combines community, courses and events, with Mighty-branded member apps for clients. A membership like "The Midlife Circle", with weekly live Q&As, a course library on sleep and nutrition, and an active feed, fits its model well. Livestreaming is included in plan limits: 20 hours a month for up to 100 attendees on Launch, as listed in October 2026.

For one-to-one coaching it is thin. Mighty Networks has no 1:1 scheduling, invoicing or contracts, and no per-client habits, check-ins or private coaching plans. A client cannot log her sleep each morning and have you see it on her record. Members see Mighty's branding in the app unless you are on the custom-priced Mighty Pro plan, which is the only tier with your own branded apps.

Cost is the other consideration. Launch is $95/mo ($79/mo annual) for 3 hosts and 200 GB storage, and Scale is $215/mo ($179/mo annual). On top of Stripe processing, Mighty takes a platform fee of 2% on Launch, 1% on Scale and 0.5% on Growth and Mighty Pro. A 14-day trial is offered without a credit card. Trustpilot shows 3.3 from 219 reviews as listed in October 2026.

Pick it over Coachful if your business is mainly a large membership community with courses and live events, you rarely run 1:1 programs, and you do not need daily check-ins tied to each client's record.

3. Everfit: a training-first app for strength-led programs

Everfit suits menopause coaches whose program is built mostly around strength training, with habits and nutrition as supporting pieces.

Everfit homepage introducing its fitness coaching app for trainers and coaches
Everfit's homepage in October 2026.

It is a fitness coaching app: clients follow workouts, track habits and nutrition, and message the coach. If your midlife offer is "lift three times a week, eat enough protein, sleep better", the training side is the centre of gravity, and Everfit is built for exactly that.

The gaps show up when the program is broader than fitness. Everfit has no course builder, website, funnels or email marketing, so lessons on perimenopause, a sales page and a nurture sequence all live elsewhere. Automation (Autoflow), payments and meal plans are paid add-ons. A client who wants to read a lesson, join the group chat and book a call may end up in three places.

Pricing scales by client count. Starter is free for up to 5 clients. Pro starts at $19/mo ($16/mo annual) for 5 clients, then $29/mo for 10, $49/mo for 20 and $95/mo for 50, as listed in October 2026. Studio starts at $105/mo for 50 clients. Everfit offers a 30-day free trial without a contract or credit card. Its Trustpilot score is 2.7 from 16 reviews, a small sample, as listed in October 2026.

Pick it over Coachful if your offer is essentially a strength-training program for midlife women, you already have your website and email elsewhere, and you want a client app focused on workouts.

4. Practice Better: for practitioners who also chart

Practice Better is the closest substitute on this list and the right call for menopause practitioners who need charting and telehealth alongside coaching, such as nutrition professionals who see midlife clients.

Practice Better homepage introducing its practice management platform for wellness practitioners
Practice Better's homepage in October 2026.

It is practice-management software for wellness and nutrition practitioners: scheduling, telehealth, charting, billing, programs and a client portal with an app. Clients can book, attend telehealth sessions and work through programs. Our separate look at the Practice Better app covers what clients and practitioners each see.

Several of the features that make a client app feel like yours sit on higher tiers. Evergreen programs, portal branding, a custom URL and SMS start on Plus at $99/mo ($89/mo annual), as listed in October 2026. Below that, Sprout is free for 3 clients, Starter is $35/mo ($25/mo annual) for 10 clients, and Professional is $69/mo ($59/mo annual) for 300 clients. Accounts below the Team plan are limited to one practitioner. There is no website builder or funnel pages in its older profile, so marketing runs on separate tools.

Trials are 30 days on Team and 14 days on other paid plans. Payments run through Practice Better Payments, powered by Stripe. Trustpilot shows 3.8 from 87 reviews as listed in October 2026.

Pick it over Coachful if you are a licensed practitioner who needs charting and telehealth inside the same tool, and community, courses and a sales website matter less to you.

Which one looks like you?

Coachful builds your coaching website from a few answers, in a design chosen for your niche, with programs, booking and payments ready behind it.

5. ABC Trainerize: where personal trainers start

ABC Trainerize is a sensible choice for a personal trainer adding a menopause strength offer to an existing training business, less so for a coach whose program is mostly education, habits and mindset.

ABC Trainerize homepage introducing its personal training and fitness coaching app
ABC Trainerize's homepage in October 2026.

The app covers workouts, habits, nutrition tracking and messaging, priced by client seats. Clients who already think of themselves as "training with a coach" will find it familiar.

Outside training, much of what a menopause program needs is extra. Scheduling, selling products, payments, video and advanced nutrition are separate paid add-ons below Studio. There is no course builder, website, funnels or email marketing. The older public profile also reports that client data export is incomplete, without messages, photos or attachments, which is worth checking before you put a year of client history into it.

Basic is free for 1 client, Grow is $10/mo for 2 clients, and Pro starts at $25/mo ($23/mo annual) for 5 clients with further tiers at 15, 30, 50, 75, 100 and 200 clients, as listed in October 2026. In-app payments need the Stripe Integrated Payments add-on. A 30-day trial with unlimited clients requires no card and reverts to the free 1-client plan. Trustpilot shows 3.1 from 100 reviews as listed in October 2026.

Pick it over Coachful if you are primarily a personal trainer, your menopause offer is a training block, and you are comfortable buying scheduling and payments as add-ons.

How do the client apps compare feature by feature?

Coachful is the only app here that puts daily check-ins, habits, drip lessons, community and session booking in one client app tied to one coach back office. The others each cover part of that list well.

Where a cell says "not a core feature in our data" or "check current plan details", the vendor may offer something, but we could not confirm it from the sources this article uses. Ask the vendor before you rely on it.

What does each app cost for a menopause practice?

For a coach with around 15 clients, the real cost depends less on the headline price than on add-ons and platform fees. Coachful has flat plans and no platform fee; the fitness apps price by client; the community apps add a percentage of sales.

Vendor figures are monthly, in US dollars, as listed in October 2026. They exclude Stripe processing fees, which every tool here passes on in some form. Add the cost of any separate website, email and course tools for the apps that do not include them; for many coaches that second stack is where the real money goes.

How do you set up a menopause program in Coachful's client app?

You build the program once on the coach side, and the client app fills itself: lessons drip by week, habits and check-ins appear each day, and the cohort group is created when the first client enrols. Here is a worked example for an illustrative 8-week "Midlife Reset" group program.

A laptop and tablet showing a client's goal with daily momentum and an enrolled group program
A demo client goal with linked daily tasks and habits on the laptop, and an enrolled group program on the tablet, beside light dumbbells.
  1. Start from a template or ask the team. Pick one of the 40+ program templates and adapt it, or request a build through the free white-glove service, attaching your outline and brand colours.
  2. Write the weeks. Week 1: sleep and evening routine. Week 2: protein and breakfast. Week 3: starting strength training. Week 4: stress and mood. Week 5: hot flushes and practical cooling strategies. Week 6: preparing for a doctor's appointment. Weeks 7 and 8: building a plan to keep going. Each week gets one weekly goal and two or three daily tasks.
  3. Add habits. For example: "protein at breakfast", "10-minute walk", "screens off by 10 p.m.", "strength session" (twice a week).
  4. Design the check-ins. Morning: sleep quality 1 to 5, energy 1 to 5, a note. Evening: mood, any hot flushes or night sweats, one win. Keep each to under two minutes.
  5. Attach the lessons. Build a short course with one module per week and drip it on the same schedule as the program.
  6. Set up the community. Enrolment creates the cohort group automatically. Add a weekly live Q&A as a video event.
  7. Sell it. Create an offer with a payment plan, attach the coaching agreement for e-signature, and add intake questions that ask about current health care and any conditions the client wants you to know about.
  8. Configure the AI Coach for clients you choose, with instructions to stay within the program's coaching topics and to suggest speaking to a doctor for medical questions.

A day in the app for one client

To make that concrete, here is an illustrative Tuesday in week 3 for a fictional client we will call Dana, 51, in the "Midlife Reset" group. Dana is an example, not a real customer.

  • 6:40 a.m. Dana opens the app and sees your branding and today's card. The morning check-in asks about sleep (2 out of 5, woke twice with night sweats) and energy (3). She adds a note: "Tired but going to try the walk."
  • 7:15 a.m. She ticks "protein at breakfast". Her streak moves to 9 days.
  • 12:30 p.m. During lunch she watches week 3's lesson, a 7-minute video you recorded on starting strength training safely. Completion is tracked.
  • 5:45 p.m. She does the beginner strength session and ticks the habit. In the group feed, another member has posted that her first week of lifting left her sore; Dana replies with encouragement.
  • 8:00 p.m. She gets a reminder about tomorrow's 1:1 call and sees the pre-session task: "Note two things that made sleep worse this week."
  • 9:30 p.m. The evening check-in: mood okay, two hot flushes in the afternoon, win of the day: finished the strength session.

On your side, all of that lands on Dana's record. Before the call, Michelle can brief you: sleep scores have dipped three nights in a row, habits are holding, she has completed every lesson so far. You walk into the call knowing where to spend the time. If her notes ever describe something that sounds medical, you are prompted by the program's design, not by the software, to suggest she sees her doctor.

Where does menopause coaching stop and medical care start?

Menopause coaching supports habits, education, mindset and accountability; it does not diagnose, treat or prescribe. Decisions about hormone therapy, other medications, bleeding changes and mental health belong with a doctor or other licensed clinician.

Menopause is a normal stage of life, but its symptoms and the decisions around treatment are medical topics. MedlinePlus, the US National Library of Medicine's health information service, has a plain-language overview of menopause worth sharing with clients, and the Wikipedia article on menopause summarises the stages and terminology. Refer a client to her doctor when she reports:

  • Bleeding after menopause, or very heavy or unusual bleeding during perimenopause.
  • Low mood that persists, thoughts of self-harm, or anxiety that stops her functioning (urgent: help her reach care today).
  • Questions about starting, stopping or changing hormone therapy or any medication.
  • Symptoms that are new, severe or not improving.

Put that scope line in your coaching agreement, repeat it in week 1 of the program, and design check-ins to collect patterns rather than clinical detail. The app's job is to help a client bring a clear, organised log to her appointment.

What mistakes do menopause coaches make when choosing a client app?

The most common mistake is choosing on the coach's needs alone and forgetting that the client is the one who must open the app every day. Others follow from that.

  • Picking a tool with no native app. A mobile browser link is easy to lose. If daily check-ins are central to your method, clients need an app icon.
  • Splitting the client across apps. Lessons in one tool, community in another, habits in a third, booking in a fourth. Each extra login is a place where a tired client gives up.
  • Over-building the check-in. Twelve questions every morning will not survive week two. Three questions and a note is plenty.
  • Asking for clinical data you should not hold. Medication doses, lab results and diagnoses belong in clinical records. Coachful is not HIPAA-certified, and most coaching tools are not built for clinical record-keeping.
  • Expecting wearable data. Many clients wear sleep trackers. Coachful does not sync with Garmin, Fitbit, Whoop or Oura; ask clients to log a sleep score in their check-in instead.
  • Ignoring the cost of add-ons and fees. A cheap per-client app plus a separate course tool, website and email platform can cost more than one all-in-one membership.
  • Delaying launch to make it perfect. A simple 6-week program with three habits and two check-ins will teach you more than a month of planning. Our guide on how to create a coaching app covers a quick first version.

Which app should a menopause coach pick?

Choose Coachful if you want one client app that holds the daily program, lessons, community and sessions, connected to one back office for booking, payments, contracts and notes. That covers most menopause coaches, whether they run 1:1 programs, small groups or both.

The other four fit narrower cases. Mighty Networks is best when the business is a large membership community. Everfit and ABC Trainerize suit coaches and trainers whose menopause offer is mainly strength training. Practice Better suits practitioners who chart and run telehealth alongside coaching. If you work with a broader group of health clients too, see the Coachful page for health coaches and our roundup of coaching portals with a mobile app.

To start, open a free trial, ask the team to build your first program or website through the free white-glove service, and invite two or three clients to test the daily check-in before you open the group.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best app for menopause coaches?

For most menopause coaches, Coachful is the best client app because it puts daily habits, morning and evening check-ins, drip lessons, community and session booking in one app on iPhone and Android, connected to the coach's booking, payments and notes. Mighty Networks, Everfit, Practice Better and ABC Trainerize each fit narrower needs, such as large memberships, training-led programs or clinical practice.

Do my clients get an app with my own name in the App Store?

Not with Coachful. Clients install the Coachful app on iPhone or Android and see your branding, program and content inside it. The app is not published under your own App Store account. Mighty Networks and Circle offer their own branded apps only on custom-priced top tiers.

Can clients track hot flushes, sleep and mood in Coachful?

Yes, through check-ins you design. You can set a morning check-in for sleep and energy and an evening check-in for mood and hot flushes, plus habits and goals with progress bars. Keep the questions short and focused on patterns, not clinical detail.

Does Coachful sync with sleep trackers or Apple Health?

No. Coachful does not sync with Garmin, Fitbit, Whoop or Oura, and Apple Health sync is not publicly available. Clients can log a sleep score or note from their tracker in a daily check-in instead.

Is Coachful HIPAA compliant for menopause coaching?

Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and does not sign a BAA. It is built for coaching, not clinical record-keeping or insurance billing. If you are also a clinician who charts or prescribes, keep clinical records in a tool designed for that.

What is Coachful's free white-glove service?

On every plan, you can ask the Coachful team to build a website, funnel, program, course outline, check-in flow, email sequence or similar inside your account, usually within about 24 hours. You attach up to 8 reference links and 10 files, and nothing is invented for you, such as testimonials or credentials. It does not cover recording videos, logo design, ads or ongoing marketing.

Is a group program or 1:1 better in a menopause app?

Both work, and many coaches combine them. A group program gives clients the reassurance of hearing from others with the same symptoms, while 1:1 sessions handle individual adjustments. In Coachful, enrolling in a program creates the cohort group automatically, and 1:1 sessions sit alongside it in the same app. See group coaching software for more.

Can I include strength training workouts in a menopause program?

Yes. With Coachful's optional Fitness & Nutrition pack you can build workouts from an illustrated exercise library, track sets and PRs, and set nutrition targets. You attach your own demo videos, since there are no stock exercise videos. Everfit and ABC Trainerize are also strong on training if that is your main offer.

Should I give medical advice through the app?

No. Coaching supports habits, education and accountability. Questions about hormone therapy, medication, unusual bleeding or persistent low mood belong with the client's doctor. State that in your coaching agreement and in week 1 of the program.

How much does a menopause coaching app cost?

It varies by model. Fitness apps such as Everfit price by client count, community platforms such as Mighty Networks add a percentage of each sale, and Practice Better reserves branding for its Plus plan at $99/mo, as listed in October 2026. Coachful uses flat monthly plans with no platform fee. Current plans: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients.
