Top 12 Coaching Platforms With Upsells and Order Bumps, Ranked

Top 12 Coaching Platforms With Upsells and Order Bumps, Ranked

The best coaching platforms with upsells and order bumps do two jobs at once: they raise what each buyer spends at checkout, and they deliver what was bought without sending the client into three other apps. The order bump (a small add-on ticked on the checkout page) and the upsell (a bigger or extra offer shown around the purchase) only pay off if the workbook, the extra session or the course actually reaches the client, gets used, and leads to a renewal. So the question to answer before you compare feature lists is simple: where does the client go after they click pay?

Our pick is Coachful. It handles order bumps, bundles, payment plans and coupons through your own Stripe or Razorpay account with a 0% platform fee, and the buyer lands straight in your branded client app, enrolled in the program they paid for. We make Coachful, so weigh that, but we have also been specific below about the one thing it does not document (one-click post-purchase upsells) and which tools to pick if that matters more to you. The other eleven platforms are ranked on what their own pages list as of October 2026.

If you are still choosing how to package your offers in the first place, our guide to the best platforms to sell coaching packages covers the wider category. This article zooms in on the tools that raise order value.

What do coaches need from a platform with upsells and order bumps?

Coaches need checkout add-ons that match how coaching is actually sold: one main program, a few small extras that make it work better, and a way to spread the cost. That is a different shape from an ecommerce store with hundreds of products.

In practice, coaches tend to raise order value in five ways:

  • An order bump on the program checkout. A recorded workshop, a printed or downloadable workbook, an extra 1:1 call, or a month of community access, offered as a tick box next to the card field.
  • Bundles. A program plus a course plus a group call series, sold together at a lower combined price than buying each one.
  • Payment plans. A 12-week program in three monthly payments. This is not an upsell in the textbook sense, but it is often the single change that lets more people say yes to the higher tier.
  • Coupons. Launch-week pricing, an alumni discount, or a code for a podcast audience.
  • A follow-on offer. Either a one-click upsell right after payment, or a follow-up sequence that offers the next program when the first one ends. Upselling and cross-selling are old sales ideas (Wikipedia has a plain summary); what changes in coaching is that the follow-on offer works best once the client has seen results.

Then there is the part that ecommerce tools skip. Once someone buys a program plus a bump, a coach still needs a signed agreement before the first call, booking for the included sessions, somewhere for the workbook to live, and a record that shows whether the client is using what they bought. If the checkout tool cannot do that, you end up stitching it to a scheduler, a course host and a CRM, and each link adds a monthly fee and a place for the client to get lost. That is why we weigh delivery as heavily as the checkout widget.

Fees matter more than usual here too. An order bump adds a small amount to each order; a platform that takes a percentage of every sale takes a share of that small amount as well. Our list of coaching platforms with no transaction fees goes deeper on that point.

Thinking of launching your coaching business?

Answer a few questions and Coachful builds it around you: your website, programs, booking and payments. Ready in minutes.

Build your platform

How did we choose and rank these platforms?

We started from tools coaches actually shortlist when they want to sell programs online, then read each vendor's pricing page and published feature notes. We did not run test purchases in every tool; where a feature was not documented, we say so rather than assume it.

Four questions decided the order:

  1. What happens after payment? Does the buyer land in a place where the program, sessions, check-ins and the bump they ticked are all waiting, or does the coach have to forward them somewhere else?
  2. Which order-value tools are documented? Order bumps, one-click upsells, bundles, payment plans and coupons, each counted only if the vendor lists it.
  3. What does the whole stack cost? Subscription, per-sale platform fees, and the extra tools you would need for booking, contracts or delivery.
  4. How long until the first sale? Templates, setup help and how many separate systems you need to connect.

Dedicated coaching back-office tools (Paperbell, CoachVantage, Delenta, Simply.Coach) sit in the middle: strong on delivery, thin on documented checkout add-ons. Pure marketing and course tools rank above them where their checkout features are clearly stronger, and below them where they are not.

1. Coachful: order bumps, bundles and payment plans where the client does the work

A laptop showing a coaching payments table on a desk with a notebook and a receipt spike
Coachful's Payments tab with demo invoices for a program, on a laptop beside a notebook.

Coachful is a coaching platform where checkout and delivery live in the same system. One subscription covers booking, payments, contracts, programs with habits and check-ins, courses, a community, a website with funnels and email, and an AI assistant called Michelle. The coach has one login; the client gets one app with the coach's branding.

For raising order value, payments run through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account, so the money goes to you. Coachful documents one-time payments, subscriptions, payment plans, order bumps, coupons, refunds, Apple Pay and Google Pay, and Stripe Tax, with an invoice generated per transaction plus manual invoices when you need one. Since August 2026 the Coachful platform fee is 0%; you pay only Stripe or Razorpay processing. On a checkout where a bump adds a modest amount to each order, that matters: the whole bump reaches your account minus card processing.

The Offers page in Coachful, with four demo offers and three marked live.

Offers are what you sell: a 1:1 program, a group program, a session pack, a course, an event. Bundles let you group several of them (say a program, a course and a recorded workshop) at a combined price, and they show up in the client's Discover page with their discount labels. That page is the quiet upsell most checkout tools lack: a client who finishes week six of your program opens the app and sees the next bundle there, without you sending a sales email.

The video below walks through building a bundle.

Checkout pages sit inside funnels. Coachful has booking, application, lead-magnet and checkout funnels with Meta Pixel and UTM tracking, about 25 funnel templates, and GA4 under integrations, so you can see which traffic source bought the program and which also took the bump. The Analytics tab splits Business, Funnels, Products and Retention, which is where you check whether the bump is earning its place on the page.

Coachful Funnels page listing a free webinar funnel, a lead magnet funnel and a program launch funnel
Coachful's Funnels page with three demo funnels: a free webinar, a lead magnet and a program launch.

The part that separates Coachful from funnel builders is what happens next. A paid enrollment drops the client into the program you sold, with weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins and streaks. Cohort groups are created automatically on program enrollment, so a group buyer is in the right community space on day one. A coaching agreement with e-signature can go out before the first call and stays on the client record. Sessions included in the purchase can be sold as session credits, so the client books the calls they paid for from your booking page, with two-way Google, Apple and Outlook calendar sync and reminders. And the client record shows payments next to goals, check-ins and a status (thriving, active, quiet or at risk). That status is useful when you plan the follow-on offer: you can see who is actually using the program before you pitch the next one.

For the next offer, email sequences with triggers, delays, branching and A/B splits can follow up after a purchase, and Michelle, the built-in AI assistant, can draft that sequence and your checkout copy from your live practice data. Questions and planning with Michelle are included in your Coachful membership; confirmed builds and changes use AI credits.

Now the honest limits. Coachful does not document a one-click post-purchase upsell page (the kind where a buyer accepts a second offer after paying without re-entering their card). Its order-value tools are the bump on the checkout, bundles, payment plans, coupons, subscriptions and the in-app Discover page. There is no PayPal, no permanent free plan, and it is not a course marketplace. It is not HIPAA-certified, so it is not for clinical records.

Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. On every plan, you can go to Create, choose "We'll build it for you · FREE", and describe the funnel, offer or sales page, email sequence or program you want. You can attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files (logos, photos, brand guides, copy). The Coachful team builds it inside your own account, usually within about 24 hours. Nothing is invented: no fake testimonials, credentials or prices; gaps are left for you to fill. One recent example: a business mentor for beauty professionals got a 12-week mentorship sales page, a free start-up-guide funnel and rewritten follow-up emails. It does not cover recording videos, logo design or ad management. More in how the free white-glove service works.

In short: Coachful is for coaches who deliver programs, not just sessions, including solo coaches growing into a small team and coaches replacing four to six tools. It does not do one-click post-purchase upsells, PayPal or clinical record-keeping. To start, take a free trial and request the white-glove build of your first checkout funnel. Current plans: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients. 2. Systeme.io: the low-cost route to one-click upsell funnels

Systeme.io homepage in October 2026, showing its headline, main navigation and sign-up button
Systeme.io's homepage in October 2026.

Systeme.io is a marketing suite built around funnels, and its pricing page lists both "1-click upsells" and "Order bumps" in the plan comparison. If the funnel itself is your product (lead magnet, sales page, checkout with a bump, one-click upsell, thank-you page), this is the cheapest documented way to build that exact sequence.

The plans as listed in October 2026: a Free plan at $0/month (2,000 contacts, 3 funnels, 1 course, 1 automation rule), Startup at $17/month (5,000 contacts, 10 funnels, 5 courses), Webinar at $47/month and Unlimited at $97/month. Systeme.io lists 0% transaction fees on every plan, including the free one; you pay Stripe or PayPal processing. The free plan does not expire and needs no card. On Trustpilot it showed 4.9 from 8,696 reviews when we checked in October 2026.

For a coach, the gap is after the sale. Our vendor notes list no native 1:1 scheduling tied to client records, and no habits or check-ins. Community and course features are described as basic, and there is no branded mobile app. So the realistic Systeme.io coaching setup is Systeme.io for the funnel and email, plus a separate scheduler, plus a separate place for program delivery. The order bump on a coaching program then sells something that has to be delivered from a second or third tool.

That is a fair trade for some coaches. If most of your revenue is low-ticket digital products (a guided journal, a mini course) and coaching is a small slice, Systeme.io's upsell chain does exactly what you need for very little money. If your main offer is a 12-week program with calls, the stitching costs add up in time and in client confusion.

Pick it over Coachful if you specifically want one-click post-purchase upsells and a multi-step funnel chain, you sell mostly digital products, and you are happy to run sessions and delivery in other tools.

3. Thinkific: course-first checkout with bumps, bundles and thank-you upsells

Thinkific homepage in October 2026, showing its headline, main navigation and sign-up button
Thinkific's homepage in October 2026.

Thinkific is a course platform, and its pricing page has a whole line for "Bundles, upsells, and payment plans", plus "Order Bumps" and a custom thank-you page where you can "add product upsells" or send buyers to a specific product after purchase. Of all the course hosts here, it documents the most complete set of order-value tools.

Plans as listed in October 2026: Start at $109/month ($82/month billed annually) for up to 10,000 current students and 2 admins, Grow at $219/month and Expand at $499/month, with a custom Plus tier above. Prices rose about 10% on August 13, 2026. There is a 30-day free trial on every self-serve plan. Using Thinkific Payments carries no extra Thinkific transaction fee, at a processing rate the vendor describes as in line with 2.9%; third-party gateways such as Stripe or PayPal carry an extra per-plan gateway fee that the page does not quantify. Note that our pricing page screenshot shows euro prices, which is how the page rendered for us.

The weak spot for coaches is live work. Our notes list no built-in 1:1 scheduling (coaching products rely on external booking links), no client habits or daily check-ins, and no per-client plans. A branded mobile app is a $199/month add-on. Public reviews are mixed: Trustpilot showed 1.8 from 868 reviews in October 2026.

Where Thinkific shines is the course-plus-coaching hybrid where the course does most of the work: a signature course sold with an "add two group Q&A calls" bump and a thank-you-page upsell into a cohort. If your calls are optional extras rather than the core of the offer, the course-centric model fits.

Pick it over Coachful if your business is mainly self-paced courses, you want thank-you-page upsells as well as bumps, and live 1:1 coaching is a small add-on handled by a separate booking tool.

4. Stan Store: upsells for coaches who sell from a link in bio

Stan Store homepage in October 2026, showing its headline, main navigation and sign-up button
Stan Store's homepage in October 2026.

Stan Store is a link-in-bio storefront. Its model is a single mobile-friendly page with products on it: a digital download, a course, a membership, a paid call. Upsells, discount codes, email marketing and affiliates are only on the Creator Pro plan, so the plan you need for this article's topic is the higher one.

As listed in October 2026: Creator at $29/month ($25/month annually) and Creator Pro at $99/month ($79/month annually), both with unlimited products and customers. There is a 14-day free trial, with the first month charged when it ends. Stan takes 0% of sales ("keep 100% of every sale"); Stripe or PayPal processing applies. Trustpilot showed 4.7 from 2,205 reviews in October 2026.

Stan Store is fast to set up, which is its real strength for a coach with an audience on Instagram or TikTok. A paid discovery call with an upsell into a short program can be live in an afternoon. The limits arrive when that buyer becomes a client: there are no contracts, invoices or client records (it is not a CRM), no programs with tasks, habits or check-ins, and no team seats are advertised. You will run your actual coaching somewhere else.

If you are weighing a storefront against a full platform, our guide to what to put on a coach's link in bio walks through the order of offers that tends to make sense. Coachful has its own link-in-bio page that sells, so the comparison is about everything behind that page.

Pick it over Coachful if nearly all your sales start on social media, your offers are mostly digital products and single paid calls, and you do not need contracts, client records or structured programs.

5. Kajabi: a large product suite, with checkout details to confirm in a trial

Kajabi homepage in October 2026, showing its headline, main navigation and sign-up button
Kajabi's homepage in October 2026.

Kajabi is a course, community, website, funnel and email platform for selling knowledge products. It is often the first name coaches hear for funnels. Kajabi's public pricing page did not spell out order bumps or upsells when we fetched it, so we cannot quote its checkout add-ons from its own page; ask about them in the trial and test a purchase before you build your launch around them.

What the pricing does show, as listed in October 2026: Basic at $179/month ($143/month annually) with 5 products, 2,500 contacts, 1 community and 0 AI credits; Growth at $249/month ($199/month annually) with 50 products and 25,000 contacts; Pro at $499/month ($399/month annually). Fees are where the arithmetic gets real for bumps. With Kajabi Payments in the US, processing is 2.9% + $0.30 on Basic, 2.8% + $0.30 on Growth and 2.7% + $0.30 on Pro. If you use another processor (other than PayPal), Kajabi adds its own fee of 2% on Basic, 1% on Growth or 0.5% on Pro, on top of the processor.

The standard trial is 14 days. A card is optional; if you enter one, Kajabi places an authorization hold and charges when the trial ends, and some features (bulk contact import, test emails, some automations) stay locked until a paid plan is active. Trustpilot showed 3.4 from 2,347 reviews in October 2026.

For coaching specifically, our notes list no habit tracking or daily client check-ins; coaching in Kajabi is organised as products and communities rather than per-client plans. The Basic plan's 5-product cap also bites quickly once you create a main offer, a bump product, a bundle and a downsell.

Pick it over Coachful if you run a large catalog of courses and memberships, you are comfortable with the higher entry price, and per-client program delivery with check-ins is not central to what you sell.

6. Paperbell: package checkout built for solo 1:1 coaches

Paperbell homepage in October 2026, showing its headline, main navigation and sign-up button
Paperbell's homepage in October 2026.

Paperbell is closer to Coachful in purpose: it is all-in-one admin for solo coaches. Booking, packages, payments, contracts, a client portal and a simple website come together, and a client who buys a package is booked and signed in one flow. That flow is the reason it ranks above the other back-office tools.

On the order-value side, our sources do not list order bumps, one-click upsells or bundles for Paperbell. The checkout sells a package; making that package bigger or adding a small extra is something to confirm in the trial rather than assume.

Pricing is simple. As listed in October 2026 there is a single plan at $97/month ($80.83/month annually) with unlimited clients, sessions, files, packages and traffic. Paperbell lists "no additional transaction fees"; Stripe and PayPal processing applies. There is a "Try For Free" button; an older help-centre note described a 7-day trial with the public site offline and client messages off, and there is a 30-day money-back guarantee. Trustpilot showed 3.5 from 14 reviews in October 2026.

The limits for a coach who wants to raise order value: our notes list no courses or LMS, no community, and no goal or habit tracking. So a bump like "add the recorded course" or "add three months of group access" has nowhere native to live. There is no native mobile app; clients use a mobile browser. For coaches comparing it directly, our comparison pages lay out the differences side by side.

Pick it over Coachful if you sell only 1:1 session packages, want one flat price with unlimited clients, and do not plan to sell courses, communities or programs with check-ins alongside them.

Which one looks like you?

Coachful builds your coaching website from a few answers, in a design chosen for your niche, with programs, booking and payments ready behind it.

7. CoachVantage: sales pages inside a coaching back office

CoachVantage homepage in October 2026, showing its headline, main navigation and sign-up button
CoachVantage's homepage in October 2026.

CoachVantage is coaching practice management: a CRM, scheduling, contracts with e-signature, invoices, a client portal, group programs and small courses. For this topic, its relevant feature is sales pages, which are capped on the entry plan.

Listed in October 2026: Clarity at $39/month ($35/month annually) with unlimited contacts and engagements but only 2 group programs, 2 sales pages, 2 booking pages, 4 e-signatures a month, 2 contract templates and 2 courses; Aha! at $59/month ($53/month annually) with unlimited group programs (with cohorts), sales pages, booking pages and e-signatures. CoachVantage states "no commissions on the revenue you earn"; Stripe or PayPal fees apply. A 14-day trial needs no card.

Our sources do not list order bumps or one-click upsells. A coach who wants to raise order value here would do it by building tiered offers on separate sales pages, which is why Aha! is the realistic plan: on Clarity, two sales pages run out the moment you add a premium tier next to your standard one.

Two other notes from our vendor profile. CoachVantage is priced per coach with no team or multi-coach features, and its built-in video (CVMeet) has been reported as weak, with many users still running calls on Zoom. Neither affects checkout directly, but both affect whether this is the only tool you need.

Pick it over Coachful if you mostly need a 1:1 back office with contracts and invoices, you sell a small number of fixed offers, and checkout add-ons are not part of your plan.

8. Delenta: client portals first, selling second

Delenta homepage in October 2026, showing its headline, main navigation and sign-up button
Delenta's homepage in October 2026.

Delenta organises everything around the client portal: CRM, scheduling, contracts, group coaching, and courses on its top plan. Pricing is capped by the number of client portals, which is the number to watch if you plan to sell more seats through bundles or group offers.

As listed in October 2026: Starter at $29/month ($19.08/month annually) with 10 client portals; Pro at $49/month ($39.08/month annually) with 40 portals and up to 6 calendars; Premium at $79/month ($58.25/month annually) with unlimited portals. Teams is a per-seat licence with no amount shown, and Enterprise is custom. Delenta lists no additional transaction fees, with Stripe or PayPal processing. The trial wording conflicts on the page: the headline says 14 days, the FAQ says 7. No card is required.

We did not find order bumps, upsells or bundles in our sources. The course creator and mobile app are only on Premium, so a "program plus course" bundle needs the top plan before you can deliver it at all.

Where Delenta fits is a practice where each client has a private space with documents and sessions and the coach rarely sells add-ons. Our ranking places it here because portal caps make growth through group offers expensive, and because the checkout side is not documented.

Pick it over Coachful if a per-client portal is the centre of your service, you have a stable client count under 40, and you do not plan to sell bumps or bundles.

9. Simply.Coach: contracts and programs, light on checkout

Simply.Coach homepage in October 2026, showing its headline, main navigation and sign-up button
Simply.Coach's homepage in October 2026.

Simply.Coach is a coaching practice platform with contracts, programs, sessions, booking pages and a client portal, plus business tiers for coaching companies with sponsors. It is built around engagements more than around a public checkout.

Plans as listed in October 2026 run from Starter at $9/month (3 active coachees, 1 contract, 1 program) to Essentials at $29/month (7 coachees), Growth at $49/month (30 coachees) and Leap at $69/month (unlimited coachees, contracts and programs). Business tiers are CoCreate at $79/month and Surge at $159/month, each per active coach. Transaction fees are not stated on the pricing pages. Automated invoices are marked "Coming Soon" on the solo pricing page, and the vendor gives no refunds for mid-period cancellations. A 14-day trial needs no card.

For raising order value, the caps matter more than any checkout widget. Every solo tier below Leap limits contracts and programs, so offering a standard and a premium program alongside a bundle can use up your allowance. Our sources list no order bumps or upsells.

Simply.Coach makes sense where a company or sponsor pays for the coaching, so there is no public checkout to optimise in the first place. That is a real segment, just not the one this article is about.

Pick it over Coachful if your clients are mostly sponsored by employers, you need sponsor and program-manager roles, and consumer checkout is not how you sell.

10. AttractWell: an all-in-one with a store and session packages

AttractWell homepage in October 2026, showing its headline, main navigation and sign-up button
AttractWell's homepage in October 2026.

AttractWell is a broad all-in-one for coaches, course creators, consultants, authors and speakers: website, funnels, blog, CRM, email and texting, booking, contracts, invoicing and a store. Session packages ("call packages") track usage, and memberships take recurring payments. That gives you several things to sell together, even though our sources do not list order bumps or one-click upsells as named features.

Prices as listed in October 2026 start at Starter for $69/month (500 contacts, 1 course "vault", 2 booking links and no call packages), then Basic at $99/month (1,000 contacts, 3 vaults, 5 call packages), Premium at $129/month (4,000 contacts, unlimited booking links and call packages), Pro at $179/month and Diamond at $239/month. There is no free trial as such; the first month costs $1 on every plan. AttractWell lists a 0% transaction fee; processors charge their standard fees. Trustpilot showed 4.6 from 21 reviews in October 2026.

The catch for order value is plan limits. Selling a session package as an add-on is not possible on Starter, and a course-plus-coaching bundle on Basic is limited to three vaults. Unlimited vaults and classes cost an extra $17/month. You will likely land on Premium to sell freely, which changes the cost comparison.

Delivery-wise, AttractWell has a Facebook-style community and drip content, but our notes do not list per-client habits or daily check-ins.

Pick it over Coachful if you want texting and a large contact list in the same tool as your store, and you mostly sell memberships and call packages rather than structured programs.

11. Mighty Networks: paid communities with courses and events

Mighty Networks homepage in October 2026, showing its headline, main navigation and sign-up button
Mighty Networks' homepage in October 2026.

Mighty Networks is a community, course and events platform with Mighty-branded member apps. For coaches who run a membership as their main offer, raising order value usually means moving people from a basic community tier to one with courses or live events. Our sources do not list order bumps or one-click upsells.

Listed in October 2026: Launch at $95/month ($79/month annually) with 3 hosts and livestreaming up to 20 hours a month; Scale at $215/month ($179/month annually); Growth at $354/month on annual billing; and custom-priced Mighty Pro. There is a 14-day trial with no card, and trials include Growth features. Mighty takes a platform fee on sales of 2% on Launch, 1% on Scale and 0.5% on Growth and Mighty Pro, plus Stripe processing. On a small bump, that 2% comes out of every add-on sale on the entry plan.

The coaching gaps are clear in our notes: no 1:1 scheduling, invoicing or contracts, and no per-client habits, check-ins or private coaching plans. Your own branded app is only on Mighty Pro. For group-heavy coaches, our roundup of group coaching software covers the community side in more depth.

Pick it over Coachful if a large community is the product, you sell tiered memberships rather than programs, and you do not need 1:1 sessions or contracts in the same place.

12. Skool: a community paywall, not a checkout builder

Skool homepage in October 2026, showing its headline, main navigation and sign-up button
Skool's homepage in October 2026.

Skool puts a community, a classroom and a calendar in one group with gamified leaderboards. It is popular with coaches who run a paid group, and it is simple. For this article, though, it has the least to offer: our sources list no custom-domain website, no funnels, no email automation and no public API, and no order bumps or upsells.

Pricing as listed in October 2026: Hobby at $9/month ($7.50 annually) and Pro at $99/month ($82.50 annually), both with unlimited members, courses, videos and live calls. Payments go only through Skool Payments. Fees are the deciding factor: Hobby charges 10% + 30¢ on every transaction; Pro charges 2.9% + 30¢ up to $899 and 3.9% + 30¢ above $900. Fees are non-refundable, and payouts are weekly. Trustpilot showed 1.6 from 54 reviews in October 2026.

Raising order value in Skool mostly means raising the membership price or adding a higher tier. There are no 1:1 client records, intake forms, habits or check-ins, so a premium tier with private coaching calls needs a scheduler and somewhere to keep notes.

We rank it last because it does not try to solve the problem in the title. That is not a judgment on its community features.

Pick it over Coachful if you run a single paid community, you like gamified engagement, and you are fine with transaction fees and no checkout add-ons.

Which checkout features does each platform document?

This matrix shows what each vendor lists. "Not listed" means we did not find it in the vendor's pricing page or our vendor notes, not that it is impossible.

Two patterns stand out. Tools with the strongest checkout chains (Systeme.io, Thinkific) have no per-client program delivery, and tools built for coaching delivery mostly do not document checkout add-ons. Coachful sits where both overlap, with the one-click post-purchase page as its documented gap.

What does each platform cost at 5, 15 and 40 clients?

Monthly list prices as of October 2026, on the cheapest plan that covers that number of clients and the order-value features described above. Processing fees from Stripe or other processors are extra on every tool; platform fees are noted separately.

Platform5 clients15 clients40 clientsNotes
CoachfulLite: $29/month for up to 5 clientsSolo: $49/month for up to 20 clientsPro: $99/month with unlimited clients0% platform fee; booking, contracts, programs, courses, community, funnels and email included
Systeme.io$17$17$17Priced by contacts; check which plan includes the bump and upsell features you need; add a scheduler
Thinkific$109$109$109Add a booking tool; branded app is a $199/month add-on
Stan Store$99$99$99Creator Pro needed for upsells and discount codes
Kajabi$179$179$179Basic caps at 5 products; 2% extra on non-Kajabi processors
Paperbell$97$97$97Unlimited clients; no courses or community
CoachVantage$59$59$59Aha! plan; Clarity at $39 caps sales pages at 2
Delenta$29$49$4940 portals on Pro is exactly the limit; courses need Premium at $79
Simply.Coach$29$49$69Contract and program caps below Leap
AttractWell$99$99$99Basic, the first plan with call packages; priced by contacts
Mighty Networks$95$95$95Plus 2% platform fee on Launch; add a scheduler
Skool$99$99$99Pro, to avoid Hobby's 10% fee; add a scheduler

The subscription is only part of the bill. A funnel tool at the bottom of this table usually needs a scheduler, a contract tool and somewhere to deliver the program, and each one adds its own monthly fee. Add those up before you compare against a platform that includes them.

How do you set up an order bump in Coachful, step by step?

Here is how a coach selling a 12-week group program would raise order value in Coachful. The offers and prices are examples; set your own based on what you sell and what your clients already ask for.

  1. Connect payments. Connect your own Stripe account (or Razorpay) so money lands with you. Turn on Stripe Tax if you need tax collected.
  2. Create the main offer. Set up the 12-week group program as an offer. Enrolling creates the cohort group automatically, so buyers land in their group space.
  3. Create the bump product. Pick something small that makes the main program work better: a recorded workshop or a downloadable workbook. As an example, a coach might pair a program at an example price of $1,200 with a $49 recorded workshop.
  4. Add the order bump to the checkout. Attach the bump to the program checkout with one clear line of copy about what it adds. Michelle can draft that line from your offer.
  5. Offer a payment plan. Add a three-payment option next to the pay-in-full price so the program is easier to say yes to.
  6. Build a bundle for the next step. Group the follow-on program, a course and a group call series as a bundle so it appears in the client's Discover page.
  7. Put the checkout in a funnel. Use a checkout funnel template, add your Meta Pixel and UTM tags, and connect it to your website or link-in-bio page.
  8. Send the agreement automatically. Attach your coaching agreement so it goes out for e-signature before the first call. Our coaching contracts page covers what it includes.
  9. Write the follow-up sequence. Set an email sequence that welcomes buyers, reminds them to use the bump they bought, and introduces the next bundle near the end of week 12.
  10. Review in Analytics. After a few weeks of sales, check the Funnels and Products tabs to see how many buyers take the bump, and adjust the copy or the product.

If you would rather not build any of this yourself, request it through the free white-glove build service and the team will set up the funnel, offer page and email sequence inside your account. Our page on coaching packages has more ideas for what to bundle.

What mistakes cost coaches money at checkout?

Most lost revenue at checkout comes from small, avoidable choices. These are the ones that come up most in coaching.

  • Pre-ticking the order bump. It may lift the take rate briefly, but it erodes trust and, in the EU, it is not allowed for extra payments: the Consumer Rights Directive requires express consent to any extra payment and gives consumers a right to a refund where consent was inferred from pre-ticked boxes (Directive 2011/83/EU, Article 22). Rules vary by country, so check with an attorney if you sell internationally.
  • A bump that competes with the main offer. If the bump is a second program, buyers stall. Keep it small and directly useful for the thing they are already buying.
  • Selling what you cannot deliver. A workbook bump on a funnel tool still has to be emailed manually if there is nowhere for it to live. Make sure every bump has a delivery path before it goes live.
  • Ignoring per-sale fees. A 2% platform fee or a 10% transaction fee takes a bigger share of small add-ons than you expect over a year. Compare against tools with no platform fee.
  • Stacking too many offers. Bump, then upsell, then downsell, then a second upsell feels like a trap to many coaching buyers, who are buying trust in you as much as content.
  • Pitching the next program to clients who are quiet. Upsell clients who are using what they bought. A client status view helps here; a client who has stopped checking in needs a conversation, not an offer.
  • Forgetting currency. If you sell abroad, decide how you will price in other currencies. Our list of coaching platforms that accept multiple currencies covers the options.

Which platform should you pick?

Pick Coachful if you sell programs and want the order bump, the bundle, the payment plan and the delivery of all of it in one place with a 0% platform fee. It is the only tool on this list where the buyer of a bump lands in a branded app with their program, sessions, check-ins and community already set up, and where the free white-glove service will build the funnel for you.

Pick Systeme.io if one-click post-purchase upsells are the priority and your products are mostly digital. Pick Thinkific if courses are the core and you want thank-you-page upsells. Pick Stan Store if your sales start on social media and stay simple. Kajabi suits large catalogs if you confirm its checkout features in the trial. The coaching back-office tools (Paperbell, CoachVantage, Delenta, Simply.Coach) are solid for 1:1 admin but do not document checkout add-ons, and the community tools (Mighty Networks, Skool) are built for memberships rather than bumps.

Frequently asked questions

What is an order bump in coaching?

An order bump is a small extra offer shown on the checkout page, usually as a tick box, that the buyer can add before paying. In coaching it is often a recorded workshop, a workbook or an extra session. It works best when it makes the main program easier to complete.

What is the difference between an order bump and an upsell?

An order bump appears on the checkout page before payment. An upsell is usually shown after payment, often as a one-click offer that reuses the card already entered, or later as a follow-up offer. Coachful documents order bumps, bundles and follow-up sequences, not one-click post-purchase upsell pages.

Does Coachful support order bumps and payment plans?

Yes. Coachful supports order bumps, payment plans, coupons, subscriptions and one-time payments through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account. These are included in your Coachful membership, and Coachful takes a 0% platform fee on top of processing.

Which coaching platform has one-click upsells?

Among the tools here, Systeme.io lists 1-click upsells on its pricing page, and Thinkific lists product upsells on a custom thank-you page. Stan Store lists upsells on its Creator Pro plan. Check each in a trial to see exactly how the upsell is presented.

Do order bumps work for high-ticket coaching?

They can, if the bump is small and related to the program, such as an extra session or a recorded workshop. For high-ticket offers sold on a call, a payment plan often does more for order value than a bump, because it changes how many people can say yes to the higher tier.

Is it legal to pre-tick an order bump?

In the EU, pre-ticked boxes for extra payments are not allowed under Article 22 of the Consumer Rights Directive, and buyers can claim a refund. Rules elsewhere vary, so leave bumps unticked by default and check with an attorney for your markets.

Does Coachful take a cut of upsell or bump sales?

No. Since August 2026, Coachful charges a 0% platform fee, so you pay only Stripe or Razorpay processing on every sale, including bumps. Your plan is a flat monthly subscription (Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients).

Can Coachful build my sales funnel for me?

Yes, through the free white-glove service on every plan. Describe the funnel, offer page or email sequence you want, attach up to 8 links and 10 files, and the team builds it inside your account, usually within about 24 hours. It does not include recording videos, logo design or ad management.

Does Coachful support PayPal?

No. Coachful payments run through Stripe Connect or Razorpay, with Apple Pay and Google Pay available at checkout. If PayPal is essential for your buyers, tools such as Stan Store or Systeme.io list Stripe and PayPal.

How do I move my existing clients and programs to Coachful?

Clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding. Our guide on how to migrate clients between coaching platforms covers what to export first and how to tell clients about the switch.
