Calendon Review 2026: Pricing, Limits and Who It Suits

Calendon Review 2026: Pricing, Limits and Who It Suits

This Calendon review comes down to one sentence: Calendon is a cheap, simple booking-link scheduler that lets a coach take paid sessions through Stripe for $5 a month, and it stops there. It has no packages, client portal, programs, courses, contracts or community on its site, so it suits a coach who only needs people to book and pay for a call, not a coach who runs a full client journey.

We make Coachful, a coaching platform that competes with the all-in-one tools Calendon is sometimes compared to, so read our recommendations with that in mind. Every Calendon fact below comes from Calendon's own pages as listed in October 2026, and where public information is thin, we say so rather than fill the gap.

What is the short verdict on Calendon?

Calendon is a good fit for a solo coach who sells single sessions, wants a clean booking page, uses Google Calendar and does not want to spend more than a few dollars a month. It is a poor fit for anyone who sells multi-week programs, packages, group coaching or courses, or who wants clients to have somewhere to log in between calls.

  • Who it suits: new coaches selling discovery calls and one-off paid sessions; coaches already on Google Workspace; anyone who wants a lower-cost booking link than the big schedulers.
  • Who should skip it: coaches on Outlook or Microsoft Teams (listed as "Coming soon" in the app), coaches who sell packages or programs, and anyone who needs contracts, invoices, a client area, courses or email marketing.
  • Public rating: none. As of October 2026 we found no Calendon profile on Trustpilot (the address returns a not-found page) and no other review-site profile. There are no public reviews to summarize, so treat any star rating you see quoted for Calendon with suspicion.
  • Price: a Free plan and a Pro plan at $5 a month, or $4 a month billed as $48 a year, as listed in October 2026.

What is Calendon?

Calendon is a web-based scheduling tool that gives you a public booking page with bookable services, connects to Google Calendar, and (on Pro) collects payment through Stripe when someone books. Its Pro plan carries the tagline "For coaches, freelancers & professionals", and its homepage pitches selling coaching sessions paid upfront.

The company positions Calendon as a cheaper Calendly alternative, comparing its $5 Pro plan with Calendly's $12 and up. That framing tells you what the product is: a booking link, not a coaching business system. Calendon's own site does not mention packages, a client portal, courses, a community or a mobile app.

Calendon has also started to appear in AI search answers as a Paperbell alternative. That comparison is loose. Paperbell is built around coaching packages, contracts and a client area, while Calendon's documented features end at booking, intake questions, reminders and payment. If you arrived here looking for a Paperbell replacement, the honest answer is that Calendon covers only the scheduling and checkout part of that job. Our Calendon alternatives guide covers tools that go further.

One technical note on how we checked. Calendon's pricing page is a JavaScript app, so the prices in this review were read from the page code Calendon serves and from its published llms.txt file, which say the same thing: "$5/month (monthly) or $4/month billed as $48/year". The trial length appears only in in-app text, which we flag where it matters.

Thinking of launching your coaching business?

Answer a few questions and Coachful builds it around you: your website, programs, booking and payments. Ready in minutes.

Build your platform

What does Calendon do for each part of a coaching business?

Calendon handles booking and payment collection well for its price and does almost nothing for marketing, delivery or client experience. Below is how its documented features map to the five jobs a coaching business software has to do.

Marketing: getting found and capturing leads

Calendon gives you a booking page. On Free you can add your logo, a cover image and a tagline, but the page carries a "Powered by Calendon" badge. Pro removes the Calendon branding and lets you use a custom domain, which matters if you put the link on your website or social profiles and want it to look like yours.

There is no website builder, blog, landing page or funnel tool, no lead magnet delivery and no email list. You will need a separate website and a separate email platform to market your coaching. Calendon's custom confirmation and redirect (Pro) is the one bridge: after booking, you can send people to a page of your choice, such as a thank-you page on your own site.

Honest note: for a coach with an existing website and email tool, this is fine. For a coach starting from nothing, Calendon is one piece of a stack you still have to assemble.

Selling: taking money for sessions

This is where Calendon is strongest for its price. On Pro you can collect payment when a guest books, through your own Stripe account. Calendon advertises "0% commission" and says "100% of your booking revenue goes directly to your Stripe account, minus Stripe's standard processing fee". If you cancel a paid booking, Calendon issues an automatic full refund.

What is missing is anything beyond a per-session charge. Calendon's site does not mention session packages, payment plans, subscriptions, coupons or invoices. Stripe is the only processor listed, so there is no PayPal option. Payment collection is Pro-only; on the Free plan you cannot charge for bookings at all.

Honest note: a coach who sells a 12-session package or a monthly retainer would have to sell it somewhere else (a Stripe payment link, for example) and then hand clients a booking link, with no connection between what they paid and what they can book.

Delivery: running the coaching itself

Calendon books the call and adds the video link. On Free you get Google Meet links; Zoom is a Pro feature. Microsoft Teams is shown as "Coming soon" in the app. Buffer times and booking limits are available on every plan, so you can stop back-to-back sessions and cap how many calls land in a day.

Beyond the call, there is nothing documented: no programs, no habits or check-ins, no session notes, no file sharing, no courses, no group spaces. If your coaching includes homework, accountability or content between calls, you will run that in other tools.

Client experience: what the client sees

The client sees a booking page, intake questions and confirmation emails. Intake questions support text, dropdowns and checkboxes, with one custom question per service on Free and unlimited on Pro. Reminder emails are a Pro feature, which is worth noticing: on the Free plan, clients get no automated reminder before their session, and missed calls are more likely.

There is no client login, no portal, no app and no place where a client can see their past sessions, notes or progress. For one-off sessions that is fine. For an ongoing coaching relationship, the client experience is a string of separate emails.

Admin: calendars, data and reporting

Calendon offers two-way Google Calendar sync on every plan, and it is required: booking links do not work for guests until Google Calendar is connected. Microsoft Outlook shows as "Coming soon" in the app, and Calendon does not document Apple or iCloud calendar sync. If your life runs on Outlook, Calendon is not ready for you today.

Pro adds an analytics dashboard. For data, Calendon offers an in-app "Download My Data" option that exports your profile, services and bookings as a JSON file, and its features page says "Export or delete anytime, no lock-in". A JSON export is useful for a developer but awkward for most coaches, who would rather open a spreadsheet. There are no client records, notes or contracts to export, because Calendon does not hold them.

Here is the same picture in one table, with Coachful first for comparison.

How much does Calendon cost?

Calendon has two plans: Free at $0, and Pro at $5 a month or $4 a month billed as $48 a year (Calendon labels this "Save 20%"), as listed in October 2026. There are no add-ons listed and prices are in US dollars.

Calendon pricing page showing the Free and Pro plans
Calendon's pricing page in October 2026.

The Free plan is described as "Free forever" with no credit card required. It includes 3 services (event types), 2 schedules, unlimited bookings and 1 custom question per service, plus Google Calendar sync, Google Meet, buffer times, booking limits and basic branding. The "Powered by Calendon" badge stays on your booking page.

Pro removes the limits on services, schedules and custom questions and adds reminder emails, Stripe payment collection, the analytics dashboard, custom confirmation and redirect, Zoom, a custom domain and removal of Calendon branding.

On trials and refunds, the pricing page has a "Start Pro free" button and an FAQ line saying "We offer a free trial period on Pro", without a length. Text inside the app describes a "free 14-day trial, no charge until it ends". Calendon honors refund requests within 48 hours after a post-trial upgrade and does not give prorated refunds, so set a reminder before the trial ends if you are only testing.

Calendon Pro$5$4 a month, billed $48 a yearUnlimited services, schedules and questions0% commission; Stripe processing fees apply

On price alone, Calendon Pro is one of the cheapest ways to take paid bookings. The real question is total stack cost. If you also pay for a website builder, an email tool, a course or community platform and an e-signature tool, the $5 is the smallest line on your bill. That is the comparison worth making before you choose, and our Coachful review shows what one subscription covers instead (current plans: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients).

What do public reviewers say about Calendon?

Nothing yet, as far as we can find. As of October 2026 there is no Calendon profile on Trustpilot, and we found no profile on other major software review sites. We are not going to invent praise or complaints to fill this section.

That absence is information in its own right. A product with no independent reviews may be new, small or both. It does not mean Calendon is bad; it means you cannot check other coaches' experience of its support, uptime or billing before you commit. The low price and the free plan reduce that risk, because you can try it with little at stake.

What we can report is what Calendon says about itself. Its homepage pitches coaches who want to sell sessions paid upfront, and its comparison claim is price: $5 against Calendly's $12 and up. Those are vendor claims, not reviewer verdicts. If you want to see what reviewers say about the more established schedulers, our Calendly review and Acuity Scheduling review summarize hundreds of public reviews each.

If you do try Calendon, the useful things to test in the first week are the ones reviewers usually raise about schedulers: whether reminder emails arrive, whether Google Calendar conflicts block slots reliably, how Stripe refunds show up, and how fast support answers a question.

What are Calendon's pros and cons?

Calendon's advantages are price, simplicity and a no-commission Stripe checkout. Its drawbacks are a narrow feature set, Google-only calendar support, Pro-only reminders and no independent reviews.

Who is Calendon best for?

Calendon is best for a coach whose business today is a single paid call, run from Google Calendar, with marketing handled elsewhere. Three examples make the fit clear.

  • The new coach testing demand. You want a link in your bio for free discovery calls. Calendon Free does this with Google Meet links and buffers, at no cost. Add Pro when you start charging.
  • The consultant selling hourly sessions. You sell one-off strategy calls at a fixed price, paid upfront. Calendon Pro with Stripe is a simple, cheap checkout for exactly that.
  • The coach with a stack already in place. You have a website, an email tool and a course platform, and only want to swap out an expensive scheduler. Calendon can replace that one piece.

It is a weaker fit, and usually the wrong one, for these coaches:

  • Program coaches. If you sell a 90-day program, you need enrollment, a schedule of sessions, materials and check-ins in one place. Calendon handles only the bookings.
  • Health, fitness and habit coaches. Your value often sits between sessions: habits, logs, check-ins and messages. Calendon has nowhere for any of that. Our pages for health coaches and life coaches show what between-session delivery looks like.
  • Group coaches. There is no cohort, community or group-call structure documented. See group coaching software for what that job needs.
  • Microsoft users. Until Outlook and Teams leave "Coming soon", Calendon requires Google Calendar to function.
  • Coaches who need signed agreements before the first call. Calendon has no contracts. Read our guide to coaching contracts for why that step matters.

What are the best alternatives to Calendon?

The right alternative depends on whether you want a better scheduler or a whole coaching platform. We ranked these by one login for the whole client journey, between-session delivery, total stack cost and setup effort, which is why Coachful leads; the other five are schedulers that each beat Calendon on one specific point. For a longer list, see our Calendon alternatives roundup and the comparison hub.

1. Coachful: the whole client journey in one login

Coachful is a coaching platform where one subscription covers booking, payments, contracts, program delivery with habits and check-ins, courses, a community, a website with funnels and email, and an AI assistant. The coach has one login; the client gets one branded app. It is built for coaches who deliver programs rather than only sessions, solo coaches growing into a small team, and coaches replacing four to six tools.

Coachful's sessions calendar with demo data: 1:1 coaching and group accountability calls color-coded across September 2026.

On scheduling, Coachful matches what Calendon does and covers the gaps this review found. Booking pages have availability rules, buffers, minimum notice and time-zone detection. Calendar sync is two-way with Google, Apple/iCloud and Outlook. Sessions get built-in video or auto-created Zoom, Meet or Teams links. Email reminders are included, with SMS (24 hours before) and WhatsApp (1 hour before) once messaging is enabled. You can take paid sessions, sell session credits and ask intake questions at booking, and team plans can assign sessions round-robin or to the least-busy coach.

Here is a short walkthrough of scheduling in Coachful.

Payments run through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account: one-time charges, subscriptions, payment plans, order bumps, coupons, refunds, Apple Pay and Google Pay, and Stripe Tax, with an invoice per transaction plus manual invoices. Since August 2026 the Coachful platform fee is 0%, so you pay only Stripe or Razorpay processing. Coaching agreements with e-signature are sent before the first call and stored on the client record.

The bigger difference is what happens after the booking. Coachful runs multi-week programs with weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins, goals with progress bars and streaks. Courses, downloads and videos are delivered into the client's branded home and app. Cohort groups are created automatically when a client enrolls in a program, alongside a community feed, group chat and video events. Each client record shows goals, check-ins, habits, notes, intake answers, payments and sessions, with a status of thriving, active, quiet or at risk.

Marketing is in the same account: a section-based website builder with blog, custom domain and 30 designed homepage templates; booking, application, lead-magnet and checkout funnels with pixels and UTM tracking; email lists, broadcasts and multi-step sequences. Michelle, the built-in AI assistant, works from your live practice data to build programs, draft emails, summarize recorded sessions and brief you before calls; questions and planning are included in your Coachful membership, while confirmed builds and changes use AI credits.

Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. On every plan, you can ask the Coachful team to build things for you from Create > We'll build it for you: a website, funnel, sales page, program, course outline, email sequence, form, link in bio or automation. You describe it, attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files, and the team builds it inside your own account, usually within about 24 hours. Nothing is invented: no fake credentials, testimonials or prices, and gaps are left for you to fill. One recent example: a leadership coach with a Squarespace renewal days away got one clean homepage with a repeated "talk with me" button. Read more about the free white-glove service.

Coachful Create page with the We will build it for you card
The Create page in Coachful with the card that requests a build from the Coachful team.

What Coachful does not do: it is not HIPAA-certified and offers no BAA, so it is not for clinical records or insurance billing. There is no PayPal and no permanent free plan. The client app ships under the Coachful listing with your branding, not under your own App Store account. There is no Garmin, Fitbit, Whoop or Oura sync, and no routing forms that pick a host from form answers.

How to start: begin a free trial, then request the white-glove build for your booking page, offer and website. Clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding.

2. Calendly: the familiar scheduler

Calendly homepage showing its scheduling product and sign-up options
Calendly's homepage in October 2026.

Calendly is the scheduler Calendon positions itself against. As listed in October 2026, its Free plan includes 1 event type and 1 calendar connection; Standard is $10 per seat a month billed annually with unlimited event types and up to 6 calendar connections; Teams is $16 per seat billed annually. Calendly charges no fee on payments; you connect your own Stripe or PayPal. It is a scheduling tool only, with no client records, programs, contracts or invoicing, and per-seat pricing means each coach on a team pays separately. More detail in our Calendly review.

Pick it over Coachful if you need only scheduling, want PayPal at checkout, and value a widely used tool with hundreds of public reviews.

3. Acuity Scheduling: intake forms and packages

Acuity Scheduling homepage showing its appointment scheduling product
Acuity Scheduling's homepage in October 2026.

Acuity Scheduling, owned by Squarespace, goes further than Calendon on selling: it supports intake forms, packages and memberships, with payments through your own Stripe, Square, PayPal or Venmo. Starter is $20 a month ($16 billed annually) for one calendar, and there is a 7-day free trial with no card, as listed in October 2026. Text reminders start on Standard ($34 a month), and a HIPAA BAA is available only on Premium. There is no client portal for programs or check-ins, and no courses, community or email marketing. See our Acuity Scheduling review.

Pick it over Coachful if you need a HIPAA BAA for scheduling, or you want packages and memberships in a scheduler while keeping the rest of your stack.

4. Setmore: free scheduling for small teams

Setmore homepage showing its free appointment scheduling app
Setmore's homepage in October 2026.

Setmore's Free plan covers up to 4 users with unlimited appointments and one email reminder, but no SMS reminders and no two-way calendar sync. Pro is $12 per user a month, or $5 billed annually, with 500 SMS credits per user per month, as listed in October 2026. It has a booking page, reminders and payments, but no client programs, habits, courses or community, and no contracts or invoicing workflow on its pricing page. It has by far the largest review base in this list.

Pick it over Coachful if you run a small team that only needs shared appointment booking at the lowest per-user cost.

5. TidyCal: cheap paid bookings with packages

TidyCal homepage showing its low-cost booking pages and calendar tool
TidyCal's homepage in October 2026.

TidyCal, sold through AppSumo, offers a Free plan with unlimited booking types and bookings, lifetime-deal tiers, and a Pro plan at $12 a month or $8.25 billed annually, as listed in October 2026. It supports paid bookings and packages, which Calendon does not document. The catch: TidyCal takes a 1% platform fee on Stripe payments on Free and Lifetime plans (0% on Pro), on top of Stripe's fees. Like Calendon, it has no client records, programs, courses or email marketing.

Pick it over Coachful if you want a one-time lifetime payment for a scheduler that can sell simple session packages.

6. TimeTuna: branded pages with Microsoft sync

TimeTuna homepage showing branded booking pages for coaches and consultants
TimeTuna's homepage in October 2026.

TimeTuna lists coaches first on its homepage. Its Free plan already includes unlimited booking pages, two-way Google, Microsoft and iCal sync, and automatic Meet, Teams and Zoom links, which covers Calendon's biggest gap for Outlook users. Pro is $11.50 a month or $5.83 billed annually, with a 14-day trial, but charging for sessions through Stripe requires the Executive plan at $23 a month ($11.67 billed annually), as listed in October 2026. TimeTuna's own comparison page lists client packages, programs and contracts as "Coming soon". Like Calendon, we found no review-site profile for it.

Pick it over Coachful if you work in Microsoft 365, want branded booking pages at no cost, and do not need to take payments yet.

Calendon or Coachful: which should a coach choose?

Choose Calendon if your whole offer is a paid call and you want to keep costs to a few dollars a month. Choose Coachful if you sell programs, packages or group coaching and want the client's whole journey, from booking and payment to habits, check-ins and content, in one login.

A worked example helps. Say a coach sells a 12-week program with weekly calls and daily habits. With Calendon Pro, the coach would still need somewhere to take the program payment (or set up Stripe payment links), an e-signature tool for the agreement, a portal or app for habits and check-ins, a course host for materials, a website and an email tool. With Coachful, those pieces sit in one account, with the client seeing one branded app. For a coach with 15 clients, the comparison is Calendon plus that stack against one subscription (Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients).

For broader context on what to look for, see our guides to scheduling software for coaches, coaching payment software and coaching software. If you are just starting out, the page for new coaches explains what to set up first.

What is our final verdict on Calendon?

Calendon does a small job cheaply. For $5 a month, or $4 billed yearly, you get a branded booking page, Google Calendar sync, Zoom or Meet links, intake questions, reminders and Stripe payments with no commission. For a coach selling single sessions from a Google calendar, that is good value, and the free plan lets you try it without risk.

Its limits are just as clear. Calendon is a scheduler, not a coaching platform: no packages, no programs, no client portal, no contracts, no courses, no community, no email marketing. Outlook and Teams are not supported yet, reminders are Pro-only, and there are no public reviews to judge support or reliability. If AI search suggested it as a Paperbell alternative, know that it replaces only the booking and checkout part of that kind of tool.

If your coaching lives mostly between sessions, start with a platform built for that. Coachful gives you scheduling at least as complete as Calendon's plus the rest of the client journey, and the Coachful team will build your setup for you at no extra cost.

Calendon FAQ

Is Calendon free?

Yes. Calendon has a Free plan described as "Free forever" with no credit card required. It includes 3 services, 2 schedules, unlimited bookings and Google Calendar sync, but it shows a "Powered by Calendon" badge and does not include payments or reminder emails.

How much is Calendon Pro?

Calendon Pro costs $5 a month, or $4 a month billed as $48 a year, as listed in October 2026. Pro adds unlimited services, reminder emails, Stripe payments, Zoom, analytics, a custom domain and removal of Calendon branding.

Does Calendon have a free trial?

The pricing page offers "Start Pro free" and says there is a free trial on Pro without stating the length. Text inside the app describes a free 14-day trial with no charge until it ends. Refund requests are honored within 48 hours after a post-trial upgrade, with no prorated refunds.

Does Calendon take a cut of my payments?

No. Calendon advertises 0% commission, with booking revenue going to your own Stripe account minus Stripe's standard processing fee. Payment collection is available only on Pro, and Stripe is the only processor listed.

Does Calendon work with Outlook or Microsoft Teams?

Not yet. As of October 2026, Microsoft Outlook and Teams show as "Coming soon" in the app. Calendon currently requires Google Calendar, and booking links do not work for guests until it is connected.

Are there public reviews of Calendon?

We found none. There was no Calendon profile on Trustpilot or other major review sites in October 2026, so there is no public rating to report. Try the free plan and test reminders, calendar conflicts and support yourself before relying on it.

Is Calendon a good Paperbell alternative?

Only for the booking and payment part. Calendon's site does not mention packages, contracts, a client portal or programs, which are the reasons most coaches look at Paperbell. A coaching platform such as Coachful is a closer replacement for that full job.

Can I sell coaching packages with Calendon?

Calendon documents per-booking payments only, with no packages, session credits, payment plans or subscriptions. If you sell bundles of sessions, you would need to take payment elsewhere and share a booking link separately, or use a tool built for packages.

What is Coachful's free white-glove service?

On every Coachful plan, you can ask the team to build a website, funnel, sales page, program, email sequence or other piece of your setup inside your own account, usually within about 24 hours. You attach reference links and files, and the team leaves gaps for you rather than inventing credentials, testimonials or prices. It does not include recording videos, logo design or ad management.

Can I export my data from Calendon?

Yes. An in-app "Download My Data" option exports your profile, services and bookings as a JSON file, and Calendon states you can export or delete anytime. Because Calendon holds no client notes or records, the export covers bookings only.
