TimeTuna Review 2026: Features, Pricing and Verdict

This timetuna review is for coaches who saw TimeTuna suggested as a Paperbell alternative and want to know what it really does before moving their practice onto it. The short answer: TimeTuna is a branded booking-page scheduler with an unusually generous free plan, and it does that one job well on paper. It does not run coaching programs, courses, contracts or a client portal, and charging for sessions requires its Executive plan. If you only need clients to book and pay for calls, it is a cheap, tidy option. If you sell packages and deliver work between sessions, you will need more tools around it.
We make Coachful, a coaching platform that competes with TimeTuna for some coaches, so read this with that in mind. Every TimeTuna fact below comes from TimeTuna's own website as listed in October 2026, and where the site contradicts itself we say so. We have not tested TimeTuna hands-on; this review covers what the vendor documents and what the public record shows.
What is the short verdict on TimeTuna?
TimeTuna suits solo coaches who want a polished booking link for free or close to it, and it is a poor fit for coaches who need one place to sell, deliver and track a coaching engagement. Here is the verdict in one box.
- Who it suits: coaches, consultants and founders who mainly need branded booking pages, calendar sync and automatic video links, and who are happy to run everything else in other tools.
- Who should skip it: coaches who sell multi-week packages, need signed agreements, want clients to see their progress, or plan to run courses or a community. TimeTuna's own Paperbell comparison lists packages, programs and contracts as "Coming soon".
- Price as listed in October 2026: Free forever tier; Pro €10 a month (€60 a year); Executive €20 a month (€120 a year); White label €1,200 a year. The site's dollar table shows $11.50, $23 and $1,400 equivalents.
- Public rating: none found. TimeTuna had no Trustpilot profile when we checked on 27 October 2026 (the page returned a 404), and we found no other review-site profile. There is no public review count to report.
- Our view: a capable scheduler, not a coaching platform. Treat it as one piece of a stack, not the stack.
What is TimeTuna?
TimeTuna is an online scheduling tool built around branded booking pages. Its homepage speaks to four audiences in tabs, with Coaches listed first, followed by Consultants, Founders and Agencies.

The product centres on booking pages you can dress with custom image and video backgrounds. Visitors pick a slot, the booking lands on your connected Google, Microsoft or iCal calendar, and a Zoom, Google Meet or Microsoft Teams link is created automatically. Paid plans add your own branding and domain, custom reminders, multi-host and round-robin pages, Stripe payments, SMS through your own Twilio account, webhooks and Zapier.
Two details are worth knowing before you sign up. First, the product appears to have been renamed: the site's own assets and API still carry the Bookva name (for example an icon file called bookva-icon.png and an API at api.bookva.ai), and third-party directories describe TimeTuna as the former Bookva.ai. If you search for older reviews, try both names. Second, TimeTuna is a small vendor. Its Executive plan promises "personal support by the founders", which is a plus for responsiveness and a reminder that you are relying on a small team.
On data, TimeTuna's GDPR page says core data is hosted in London and that you can export your profile, booking pages and bookings as JSON from profile settings. The export arrives as a one-time link that expires after 10 minutes, so download it straight away.

What does TimeTuna do across a coaching business?
TimeTuna covers the booking moment thoroughly and leaves most other coaching jobs untouched. Here is how it maps to the five jobs a coaching business software stack has to do.
Marketing: getting found and capturing leads
TimeTuna's marketing role is limited to making the booking page look good and putting it where people already are. The free plan includes custom image and video backgrounds and a website embed, so you can drop a booking widget onto an existing site. Pro adds a custom domain and custom branding, which helps the page feel like yours rather than a third-party tool.
What it does not document: a website builder, landing pages, lead magnets, email lists, broadcasts or nurture sequences. A coach using TimeTuna still needs a website host and an email marketing tool, and has to connect them. For coaches whose main marketing channel is a link in their social bio pointing at a discovery call, that may be enough. For anyone running a free guide, webinar or application funnel, it is not.
Selling: discovery calls, packages and payment
Selling is where the plan structure matters most. Accepting payment for a booking through Stripe is an Executive feature, so a coach who charges per session needs the €20 a month plan (or €120 a year). TimeTuna says a paid slot is confirmed only once payment clears, which avoids unpaid no-shows holding a spot.
On fees, the pricing section does not mention a TimeTuna cut of paid bookings, and its Paperbell comparison page claims "0% commission on payments". Stripe's own processing fees still apply. Custom intake form fields start on Pro, so you can ask qualifying questions before a discovery call without paying for Executive.
The honest note for coaches: TimeTuna sells time slots, not coaching packages. Its own Paperbell comparison marks client packages, programs and contracts as "Coming soon". If your offer is "12 sessions over three months, paid in three instalments, with an agreement signed first", TimeTuna cannot model that today based on what it publishes.
Delivery: the coaching between sessions
TimeTuna does not document any delivery tools. There are no programs, habits, check-ins, goals, worksheets, courses or session notes mentioned on its site. Delivery happens on the video call TimeTuna books, and everything after the call happens somewhere else: a notes app, a shared document, an email thread or a separate coaching platform.
This is the biggest gap for coaches who see TimeTuna recommended as a Paperbell alternative. Paperbell and similar coaching tools are bought partly for the client side of the engagement. TimeTuna is closer to Calendly in shape, and you should compare it with schedulers rather than with coaching platforms.
Client experience: what your client sees
The client sees a branded booking page, a confirmation email, and reminders by email (and SMS on Executive). TimeTuna highlights cross-timezone scheduling and a "best 3 slots" feature on the free plan, which helps international clients pick a time without arithmetic.
There is no client portal, client login, community or native mobile app mentioned on the site. Clients do not have a place to see their past sessions, goals, resources or messages with you. For a one-off consulting call that is fine. For a six-month coaching engagement, clients usually expect more continuity than a calendar invite.
Admin: calendars, teams, integrations and data
Admin is TimeTuna's second strength after booking pages. Two-way calendar sync with Google, Microsoft and iCal is included free, as are in-person events. Pro adds multi-host pages and round-robin scheduling for a single user account, and Executive adds team sharing for up to six people, webhooks and Zapier, so you can push bookings into a CRM or spreadsheet.
SMS on Executive runs through your own Twilio account. TimeTuna says messages are billed by Twilio directly and that it adds no per-message fees or limits. That is fair pricing, though it does mean setting up and paying for a separate Twilio account. There is no invoicing, client records, notes or reporting documented beyond the bookings themselves.

How much does TimeTuna cost?
TimeTuna has a free plan and three paid tiers, and the yearly toggle claims a 50% saving. Prices are shown in euros by default; the site switches to dollars when its location lookup returns a US visitor.

We saw euro prices rendered on the page. The dollar figures below come from TimeTuna's own price table in the site code, which the page displays to dollar visitors; we did not see them rendered from a US location, so treat them as the vendor's listed equivalents. The per-month annual figures are our calculation (yearly total divided by 12).
| Plan | Monthly | Yearly | Key limits and additions |
|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful | Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients | Flat monthly plans; Pro is unlimited clients | Booking, payments, programs, courses, community, website, email and AI assistant included in your Coachful membership; free trial |
| TimeTuna Free | €0 / $0 | €0 / $0 | Unlimited booking pages, calendar sync, Zoom/Meet/Teams links, website embed, email confirmations; no card required |
| TimeTuna Pro | €10 / $11.50 | €60 / $70 (about $5.83 a month) | Single user; custom form and branding, custom domain, custom reminders, multi-host and round-robin; 14-day free trial |
| TimeTuna Executive | €20 / $23 | €120 / $140 (about $11.67 a month) | Team sharing up to 6; Stripe payments, SMS via your own Twilio, webhooks and Zapier, founder support; 14-day free trial |
| TimeTuna White label | Billed yearly only | €1,200 / $1,400 | Up to 10 client companies with 6 seats each; your brand and domain; set up on a 45-minute call |
A few pricing details are worth flagging, because TimeTuna's own pages disagree with each other:
- The White label plan card says "Billed yearly only", while the FAQ quotes "200 EUR per month or 1200 EUR per year".
- TimeTuna's Paperbell comparison page quotes "$10/month ... $120 per year", which matches neither the euro nor the dollar figures in the pricing table.
- White label extras are listed at $140 a year (€120) per additional company and $25 a year (€20) per additional seat.
- Stripe processing fees and Twilio message costs are paid to those companies directly and are not included in any TimeTuna plan.
For a solo coach who charges for sessions, the realistic price is Executive: €120 a year if you pay annually. That is cheap for a scheduler with payments. The real cost question is what else you need to buy alongside it, which we come back to below.
What do public reviewers say about TimeTuna?
There are no public user reviews of TimeTuna that we could find. Its Trustpilot address returned a 404 on 27 October 2026, and we found no profile on other review sites, so there is no rating, no review count and no pattern of praise or complaints to summarise.
That absence is not a criticism in itself. Small, young tools often have few reviews, and a rename from Bookva.ai may have scattered whatever feedback existed. It does change how you should evaluate it. Without reviewers reporting on support response times, sync reliability or billing, the only evidence is the vendor's own description. The free plan helps here: you can build a real booking page and run a few test bookings through your own calendar before paying anything.
If you see TimeTuna praised in an AI search answer as a Paperbell alternative, check where that claim comes from. The most detailed comparison we found is TimeTuna's own Paperbell comparison page, which is marketing, and which itself admits that packages, programs and contracts are not yet available. Our TimeTuna vs Paperbell comparison walks through that gap.
What are TimeTuna's pros and cons?
TimeTuna's strengths are price and booking polish; its weaknesses are everything a coaching engagement needs after the booking.
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| Free plan includes unlimited booking pages, two-way calendar sync and automatic video links | Charging for sessions requires the Executive plan |
| Video and image backgrounds make booking pages look premium | No packages, programs or contracts; its own comparison page lists them as "Coming soon" |
| Low paid prices, with a 50% saving on yearly billing | No client portal, courses, community or native mobile app mentioned |
| No TimeTuna commission on Stripe payments stated | SMS needs your own Twilio account and setup |
| Round-robin and multi-host pages from Pro | No public reviews found, so no independent view of support or reliability |
| Self-serve JSON data export; core data hosted in London | Pricing pages contradict each other on White label and dollar figures |
| Founder-level support on Executive | Prices shown in euros by default, which can confuse US buyers |
Who is TimeTuna best for?
TimeTuna is best for coaches whose business runs on single bookings and who already have, or do not need, tools for delivery. Three profiles fit well.
- The coach who only needs a discovery-call link. If clients pay you through a separate system and you just want a free, branded page for intro calls, TimeTuna's free plan covers it.
- The consultant selling single paid sessions. Executive lets you charge per booking through Stripe, with no TimeTuna fee stated, at a low yearly price.
- The small agency or multi-coach practice that needs shared booking. Round-robin, multi-host pages and team sharing for up to six people suit a small team that books calls but delivers work elsewhere.
It is a weaker fit for coaches who sell programs, run group cohorts, or want clients to log habits and check in between calls. It is also a weaker fit for brand-new coaches setting up from scratch, because they will need to buy and connect a website, email tool, payment flow for packages, agreements and a client space on top. If that is you, our guide to coaching software and the setup path for new coaches are a better starting point.
How does a TimeTuna stack compare with one coaching platform?
Using TimeTuna as your coaching system means assembling four to six other tools around it. Here is an illustrative example of what a coach selling a three-month package would still need to cover.
- Booking and paid sessions: TimeTuna Executive, €120 a year as listed in October 2026.
- Coaching agreement with e-signature: a separate e-signature tool, because TimeTuna lists contracts as "Coming soon".
- Package or instalment billing: Stripe invoices or a payments tool, because TimeTuna charges per booking.
- Between-session delivery: a coaching app, shared documents or a course platform for programs, worksheets and check-ins.
- Website and lead capture: a website builder and an email marketing tool.
- Group space: a community tool if you run cohorts.
Each extra tool adds a monthly bill, another login for you, and often another login for the client. That is the trade-off to weigh: TimeTuna is cheap as a line item, but the total stack is what you pay for and what your client experiences. Coachful puts these jobs under one subscription (Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients), which is why we rank it first below for coaches who sell programs.
What are the best TimeTuna alternatives for coaches?
The right alternative depends on whether you want a better scheduler or a whole coaching platform. We rank by what matters most to a coach selling ongoing work: one login for the whole client journey, between-session delivery, total stack cost, and setup effort (including the free white-glove build).
| Tool | Best for | Starting price (as listed in October 2026) | Paid bookings | Programs and client space |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful | Coaches who sell programs and want one platform | Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients | Yes, through your own Stripe or Razorpay, 0% platform fee | Yes: programs, habits, check-ins, courses, community, client app |
| TimeTuna | Free branded booking pages | Free; Pro €10 ($11.50) a month | Executive plan only | No |
| Calendly | Widely used scheduling links | Free; Standard $10 a seat a month billed annually | Yes, via your own Stripe or PayPal | No |
| Acuity Scheduling | Appointments with intake forms and packages | Starter $20 a month ($16 billed annually) | Yes, via Stripe, Square, PayPal or Venmo | No |
| Setmore | Free team scheduling | Free for up to 4 users; Pro $12 a user a month ($5 billed annually) | Yes | No |
| TidyCal | Low-cost bookings and packages | Free; Pro $12 a month ($8.25 billed annually) | Yes, 1% fee on Free and Lifetime plans | No |
| Calendon | Simple paid booking links | Free; Pro $5 a month ($4 billed annually) | Pro only, 0% commission | No |

1. Coachful: one platform for the whole coaching engagement
Coachful is a coaching platform where one subscription covers booking, payments, contracts, program delivery with habits and check-ins, courses, a community, a website with funnels and email, and an AI assistant. The coach has one login and the client has one branded app. It is built for coaches who deliver programs, not just sessions, for solo coaches growing into a small team, and for coaches replacing four to six tools.
On scheduling alone it covers what TimeTuna does: booking pages with availability rules, buffers, minimum notice and time-zone detection; two-way Google, Apple/iCloud and Outlook sync; built-in video or auto-created Zoom, Meet and Teams links; intake questions on booking; and round-robin or least-busy assignment for multi-coach session types. Reminders go by email, plus SMS 24 hours before and WhatsApp one hour before once messaging is enabled.

The difference is what happens around the booking. Payments run through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account with one-time payments, subscriptions, payment plans, order bumps, coupons, refunds, Apple Pay and Google Pay, with a 0% Coachful platform fee since August 2026. Coaching agreements with e-signature go out before the first call and are stored on the client record. Paid sessions and session credits let you sell a package of calls rather than single slots.

Between sessions, clients follow multi-week programs with weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins, goals with progress bars and streaks. Each client record holds goals, check-ins, habits, notes, intake answers, payments and sessions, with a status of thriving, active, quiet or at risk, so you can see who needs attention.

Clients get a branded home and app with their sessions, programs, progress and documents in one place, plus courses, downloads and a community feed with cohort groups created automatically on enrolment.

Here is a short walkthrough of how scheduling works inside Coachful:
Michelle, the built-in AI assistant, works from your live practice data: it builds programs, drafts emails and content, summarizes recorded sessions and briefs you before sessions. ICF credential tracking counts your coaching hours and distinct clients against ACC, PCC and MCC thresholds, which matters if you are working towards a credential. See ICF hour tracking and the AI coaching assistant for detail.
Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. On every plan, you can open Create and choose "We'll build it for you · FREE", describe what you want (a website, funnel, sales page, program, course outline, email sequence, form and more), attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files, and the Coachful team builds it inside your account, usually within about 24 hours. Nothing is invented: no fake credentials, testimonials or prices, and gaps are left for you to fill. One recent example: a leadership coach with a Squarespace renewal days away got one clean homepage with a repeated "talk with me" button. Another: a menopause and midlife health coach starting from nothing got a five-page site in sage and cream with every button leading to a free 20-minute consultation. Read more about the free white-glove service.

What Coachful does not do: it is not HIPAA-certified and offers no BAA, so it is not for clinical records or insurance billing. It has no PayPal, no permanent free plan, and the client app ships under the Coachful listing with your branding rather than under your own App Store account. It has no Salesforce or HubSpot integration and no routing forms that pick a host from form answers. Compared with TimeTuna, the clearest trade-off is that TimeTuna has a forever-free tier and Coachful does not.
How to start: begin a free trial, then request the white-glove build so your site, offer or first program is set up for you; clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding. Current plans: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients. Our Coachful review covers the limits in more depth.
Pick TimeTuna over Coachful if you only need booking pages at no cost and already run delivery, payments and contracts elsewhere.

2. Calendly: the familiar scheduling link
Calendly is a scheduling tool with booking pages, reminders, workflows and paid bookings. Its free plan, as listed in October 2026, is limited to one event type and one calendar connection; Standard is $10 a seat a month billed annually with unlimited event types and up to six calendar connections. Payments go through your own Stripe or PayPal with no documented Calendly fee. Calendly holds a Trustpilot rating of 4.1 from 714 reviews (seen 25 October 2026).

Like TimeTuna, Calendly has no client records, notes, programs, habits, check-ins, contracts or invoicing. TimeTuna's free plan is more generous (unlimited booking pages against one event type), so Calendly mainly wins on familiarity and its large public review base.
Pick it over Coachful if you want the scheduler most clients already recognise and run coaching delivery in another tool.
3. Acuity Scheduling: appointments with intake forms
Acuity Scheduling, owned by Squarespace, adds intake forms, packages and memberships to appointment booking. As listed in October 2026, Starter is $20 a month ($16 billed annually) for one calendar, Standard $34 ($27) for up to six, and Premium $69 ($55) for up to 36, with a 7-day free trial and no card. Text reminders start on Standard, and a HIPAA BAA is offered only on Premium. Its Trustpilot rating is 3.6 from 687 reviews (seen 25 October 2026).

Acuity's packages and intake forms address two of TimeTuna's gaps, but it still has no client portal for programs, habits, check-ins or messaging, and no courses, community, website builder or email marketing. Our Acuity Scheduling review has the detail.
Pick it over Coachful if you need prepaid session packages in a scheduler and a HIPAA BAA for scheduling.
4. Setmore: free scheduling for small teams
Setmore is an appointment app with a booking page, reminders and payments. Its free plan covers up to four users with unlimited appointments but no SMS and no two-way calendar sync; Pro is $12 a user a month ($5 billed annually) with 500 SMS credits per user per month, as listed in October 2026. It has the strongest public rating in this group: 4.9 on Trustpilot from 3,274 reviews (seen 25 October 2026).

Setmore has no client programs, habits, check-ins, courses or community, and no contracts or invoicing workflow on its pricing page. Compared with TimeTuna, Setmore's free plan suits a small team, while TimeTuna's free plan has better calendar sync.
Pick it over Coachful if you run a small team that only books appointments and wants built-in SMS credits.
5. TidyCal: low-cost bookings with packages
TidyCal is a low-cost booking tool sold through AppSumo, with paid bookings and packages. The free plan includes unlimited booking types and bookings with one readable and one writable calendar; Pro is $12 a month ($8.25 billed annually) with unlimited calendar connections and SMS reminders, as listed in October 2026. Note the fee: TidyCal takes 1% of Stripe payments on Free and Lifetime plans, and 0% on Pro. Its Trustpilot rating is 3.1 from 182 reviews (seen 25 October 2026).

TidyCal's package support covers a gap TimeTuna leaves open, though it has no client records, programs, check-ins, courses, community, website builder or email marketing.
Pick it over Coachful if you want the cheapest way to sell session packages and nothing more.
6. Calendon: simple paid booking links
Calendon is a booking-link scheduler whose Pro plan is pitched at coaches, freelancers and professionals. As listed in October 2026, Free is "free forever" with three services, two schedules and unlimited bookings but a "Powered by Calendon" badge; Pro is $5 a month ($4 billed annually) with unlimited services and custom questions. Payments, reminder emails and Zoom are Pro-only, with "0% commission" on Stripe bookings. Microsoft Outlook and Teams show as "Coming soon" in the app.

Calendon is the closest like-for-like rival to TimeTuna. Calendon makes paid bookings cheaper (Pro rather than an Executive-tier plan), while TimeTuna's free plan has Microsoft calendar and Teams support that Calendon lacks.
Pick it over Coachful if you want the cheapest possible paid booking link and nothing else.
What about Paperbell?
Paperbell is a coaching tool that bundles scheduling with packages, contracts and payments, which is why AI answers pair it with TimeTuna. TimeTuna's own comparison page concedes that packages, programs and contracts are "Coming soon", so the two are not yet equivalent. We compare them in detail in TimeTuna vs Paperbell. If you are comparing coaching platforms more broadly, our reviews of Practice Better and Simply.Coach cover two more direct substitutes.
Is TimeTuna worth it? Our verdict
TimeTuna is worth it as a free or low-cost scheduler, and not worth it as your coaching platform. Its free plan is the most generous in this comparison: unlimited branded booking pages, two-way sync with Google, Microsoft and iCal, and automatic Zoom, Meet and Teams links, with no card required. Executive at €120 a year adds Stripe payments, SMS via Twilio and Zapier at a low yearly price.
The limits are just as clear. TimeTuna sells time slots, not coaching engagements. There are no packages, contracts, programs, check-ins, client portal, courses or community, and the vendor's own comparison page says the first three are still coming. There are also no public reviews, so you are relying on the vendor's word and your own testing on the free plan.
Our recommendation: if all you need is a booking link, try TimeTuna's free plan alongside Calendon or Calendly and keep whichever feels best. If you sell programs, want clients to have one place to log in, or are setting up your business from scratch, Coachful replaces the scheduler and the four or five tools you would otherwise bolt onto it, and the free white-glove build gets you live without doing the setup yourself.
Frequently asked questions about TimeTuna
Is TimeTuna free?
Yes. TimeTuna has a free plan with no credit card required, as listed in October 2026. It includes unlimited booking pages, custom image and video backgrounds, two-way calendar sync, automatic video links, a website embed and email confirmations. Payments, custom domains and custom intake fields need paid plans.
How much does TimeTuna cost per month?
As listed in October 2026, Pro is €10 a month or €60 a year, and Executive is €20 a month or €120 a year. The site's dollar table lists $11.50 and $23 a month, or $70 and $140 a year. White label is €1,200 ($1,400) a year.
Can I take payments for coaching sessions with TimeTuna?
Yes, on the Executive plan, through Stripe. TimeTuna says a slot is confirmed only once payment clears, and its Paperbell comparison claims 0% commission on payments. Stripe's own processing fees still apply.
Is TimeTuna a good Paperbell alternative?
Only if you mainly need scheduling and paid bookings. TimeTuna's own Paperbell comparison lists client packages, programs and contracts as "Coming soon", so it cannot yet replace a coaching tool that sells packages with agreements. See our TimeTuna vs Paperbell comparison.
Are there TimeTuna reviews on Trustpilot or G2?
We found none. TimeTuna's Trustpilot page returned a 404 on 27 October 2026, and we found no other review-site profile. Older feedback may exist under its previous name, Bookva.ai.
Was TimeTuna previously called Bookva?
It appears so. TimeTuna's site assets and API still use the Bookva name, and third-party directories say it was renamed from Bookva.ai.
Does TimeTuna have a client portal or mobile app?
No client portal, community, courses or native mobile app are mentioned on TimeTuna's site. Clients interact with booking pages, confirmations and reminders. If you want clients to log habits, complete check-ins or see their progress, you will need a separate coaching platform.
Can I export my data from TimeTuna?
Yes. Its GDPR page describes a self-serve JSON export of your profile, booking pages and bookings from profile settings. The download link is one-time and expires after 10 minutes, and core data is hosted in London.
What is Coachful's free white-glove service?
On every Coachful plan, you can ask the Coachful team to build a website, funnel, sales page, program, course outline, email sequence or similar inside your own account, usually within about 24 hours. You describe what you want and attach up to 8 links and 10 files. It does not include recording videos, logo design, ad management or ongoing marketing. Details are in our white-glove service guide.
Is TimeTuna or Coachful better for a new coach?
For a new coach who only needs a discovery-call link, TimeTuna's free plan is enough to start. For a new coach who plans to sell packages or programs, Coachful covers booking, payments, agreements, delivery and a website in one place, and the free white-glove build handles setup. See Coachful for new coaches for how that works.
