Simply Coach Review 2026: Features, Pricing and Verdict

Simply Coach Review 2026: Features, Pricing and Verdict

This simply coach review comes down to one finding: Simply.Coach is a capable, low-cost practice manager for coaches who run contracts, structured programs and sponsor reporting, but its client caps, thin marketing tools and reported learning curve make it a weak fit for coaches who want to sell, deliver and grow from one place. If you coach executives inside organisations, it deserves a trial. If you sell group programs or need a website, funnels and email, look at the alternatives below first.

We make Coachful, a competing coaching platform, so read this with that in mind. We have not used Simply.Coach on a paying account; everything here comes from what Simply.Coach documents on its own pages as listed in October 2026, our September 2026 research profile, and what public reviewers report on G2 and Capterra.

Simply.Coach at a glance: who should buy it and who should skip it?

Buy Simply.Coach if you mostly do 1:1 or corporate coaching with formal contracts and want a cheap starting price; skip it if you need marketing tools, large group programs or unlimited clients below the top solo plan.

  • Suits: executive and leadership coaches, small coaching firms with corporate sponsors who expect reports, and coaches who want a native mobile app for clients at a low entry price.
  • Skip if: you want a website, sales funnels, email sequences or a community in the same tool, you run cohorts with more than 30 clients on a budget plan, or you dislike software with a lot of menus.
  • Public rating: G2 4.8 from 146 reviews and Capterra 4.6 from 41 reviews (September 2026). Simply.Coach had no Trustpilot profile at that time.
  • Entry price: US$9 for the Starter plan with 3 active coachees, as listed in October 2026.
  • Trial: 14 days, no credit card required.
  • Our verdict: a solid back office with a strong reviewer score, held back by per-tier caps and missing marketing tools. Most solo coaches selling programs will get more from an all-in-one platform.

What is Simply.Coach?

Simply.Coach is a coaching practice platform founded in 2020 and based in Pune, India, that handles contracts, programs, sessions, booking pages and a client portal, with separate plans for solo coaches and coaching businesses. Its homepage pitches it to coaches, therapists, counsellors, consultants and trainers, and promises more clients with less admin.

The product splits into two lines. The solopreneur plans (Starter, Essentials, Growth and Leap) are priced per account with caps on coachees, contracts, programs and storage. The business plans (CoCreate, Surge and Optima) are priced per active coach and add program managers, sponsors, coach matching and stakeholder reporting. That second line is where Simply.Coach is most distinctive: few tools at this price think about the HR partner or sponsor who pays for an executive's coaching.

What Simply.Coach is not: a website builder, a funnel tool, an email marketing platform or a community space. Our September 2026 profile found a showcase page and landing pages, journey automation and email integration, but no funnels, no marketing autoresponder and no community feed. If you already have those pieces elsewhere and like them, that may not matter. If you were hoping to cancel them, it does.

Answer a few questions and Coachful builds it around you: your website, programs, booking and payments. Ready in minutes.

Build your platform

What does Simply.Coach do for each part of a coaching business?

Simply.Coach is strongest at delivery and admin, adequate at selling, and light on marketing. Here is how it breaks down by job, based on its own pages and our September 2026 profile.

Marketing: getting clients in the door

This is the weakest area. Simply.Coach offers a public showcase page and landing pages, booking pages and survey forms, which is enough to take a booking from someone who already found you. There is no funnel builder, no lead magnet delivery flow, no broadcast email or multi-step marketing sequence, and no blog. Public reviewers have asked for integrations with email tools such as Mailerlite, which tells you most users run their list somewhere else.

Honest note: this is common in practice management software. Paperbell, CoachAccountable and Satori are similar. It only becomes a problem when you add up what the rest of your stack costs. See our coach website builder page if a site is part of your shopping list.

Selling: contracts, invoices and payments

Simply.Coach supports contracts, invoicing and payments, plus subscriptions and session packages. Contracts are a core object rather than an add-on, which suits coaches whose engagements start with a formal agreement. The catch is the caps: Starter allows 1 contract, Essentials 3, Growth 10, and only Leap is unlimited.

Two details are worth checking before you commit. First, the pricing pages do not name a payment processor or state any transaction fee. Second, the solo pricing page marks automated invoices as "Coming Soon" in October 2026, so recurring billing may need more manual work than you expect. Ask support for a demo of a monthly retainer before you move clients over. Our guide to coaching contracts covers what a good agreement flow should include whichever tool you pick.

Delivery: sessions, programs and progress

Delivery is where Simply.Coach earns its rating. It covers 1:1 and group coaching, coaching programs and pathways with action plans and nudges, goals and development plans, survey and intake forms, and assessments including 360s. Scheduling includes booking pages, Google Calendar and Outlook or Microsoft 365 sync, and recurring sessions from the Growth plan up. Video runs through an embedded conferencing tool or through Zoom, Teams and Google Meet.

Honest notes: our profile found no dedicated habit tracker (nudges and action plans fill that role), and its learning modules and resource library are not a full course platform. Multiple calendars start on Growth, so a coach who keeps work and personal calendars separate will outgrow Starter and Essentials quickly. If 360 reviews are central to your work, our executive 360 feedback review template shows the structure to look for in any tool.

Client experience: what your clients see

Clients get a workspace in the browser and native iOS and Android apps, available in English, Spanish and French according to our September 2026 profile. Your logo appears from Growth. A white-labelled platform on your own domain is reserved for Leap on the solo side and Surge or Optima on the business side, with email white-labelling only on Optima.

Honest note: some reviewers describe the French localisation as unpolished, so test the client view in the language your clients use.

Admin: reporting, teams and compliance

For coaching businesses, Simply.Coach includes custom reports, scheduled reports for stakeholders, roles for program managers and sponsors, coach matching, NPS surveys, automated reports and coach payouts, with the richer features on Optima. Integrations named on its site include Zapier, Google, Microsoft 365, Zoom, Teams and Google Meet. Simply.Coach states that it is SOC2, HIPAA and GDPR compliant (September 2026), and that all data can be exported to spreadsheets.

Honest notes: reviewers have asked for accounting integrations such as Xero and Wave, and the company does not refund mid-period cancellations.

How does Simply.Coach compare by job with Coachful and other coaching platforms?

The table below summarises each tool's coverage by job. Coverage for Simply.Coach and the other vendors comes from their pages as listed in October 2026 and our September 2026 profiles.

How much does Simply.Coach cost in 2026?

Simply.Coach's solo plans run from US$9 to US$69 and its business plans from US$79 to US$289 per active coach, as listed in October 2026. Prices on the US page include tax, and an INR option (excluding GST) is available.

Simply.Coach pricing page listing its solo coaching plans
Simply.Coach's pricing page in October 2026.

One quirk: the headline prices do not state the billing period. Our earlier profile treated them as monthly. The page advertises savings of up to 52% on annual billing, but only Essentials shows an annual figure, US$290 a year (about US$24.17 a month). There is no free plan, and the trial lasts 14 days without a card. Public reviewers have reported that the trial itself is limited to 3 clients and 10 sessions, so plan a small test rather than a full migration during those two weeks.

PlanListed priceClient limitWhat it adds
CoachfulLite: $29/month for up to 5 clientsLower plans cap clients; Pro is unlimitedBooking, payments, agreements, programs, courses, community, website, funnels, email and AI assistant on every plan

Simply.Coach OptimaUS$289 per active coach50 per coachUnlimited managers and sponsors, email white-labelling, coach payouts, coach matching, NPS, automated reports

The caps matter more than the headline price. A coach with 12 active clients, as an example, has already passed Essentials and needs Growth at US$49. A coach running a 40-person cohort needs Leap at US$69, and on the business side every additional coach adds the full per-coach fee. For comparison, Coachful's nearest plans for those two cases are Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients and Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients. Our full breakdown of Simply.Coach pricing walks through each tier.

Remember to count what Simply.Coach does not include. If you also pay for a website builder, an email marketing tool and a community or course tool, your real monthly cost is the Simply.Coach plan plus each of those subscriptions.

What do public reviewers praise and complain about?

Reviewers on G2 and Capterra rate Simply.Coach highly for its breadth, value and support, and most of the complaints concern setup effort, plan caps and missing integrations. The summary below paraphrases themes we recorded in September 2026; we do not have hands-on experience to confirm them.

What reviewers like

  • Support. Customer support is a recurring bright spot, with Capterra's support sub-score at 4.9 out of 5 in our September 2026 profile.
  • Value. The US$9 entry point is the cheapest in its group, and Capterra had given it a Best Value badge. G2 had listed it as a High Performer.
  • Breadth for the price. Reviewers credit it with combining contracts, programs, scheduling, video and reporting in one place, which saves juggling several admin tools.
  • Corporate features. Coaches working with organisations value sponsor roles, stakeholder reports and assessments such as 360s.
  • Mobile app. Clients get native iOS and Android apps rather than a mobile website.

What reviewers complain about

  • Learning curve. Several reviewers describe initial setup and navigation as hard going, and some smaller practices feel overwhelmed by the number of features.
  • Caps on every solo tier below Leap. Coachee, contract and program limits push growing coaches up the plans faster than they expected.
  • Trial limits. The trial's 3-client and 10-session limits were not clearly explained to some users.
  • Missing integrations. Requests for accounting tools such as Xero and Wave and email tools such as Mailerlite come up.
  • Localisation. The French version was described as unpolished.

Read the ratings in context: 146 reviews on G2 is a healthy sample for a niche tool, and high scores often reflect support quality as much as product depth. A coach who needs marketing tools will not see that gap reflected in the stars, because reviewers mostly rate the tool against the job they bought it for.

Simply.Coach pros and cons

The short version: strong delivery, contracts and corporate reporting at a low entry price, offset by caps, a busy interface and no marketing layer.

Who is Simply.Coach best for?

Simply.Coach is best for executive, leadership and corporate coaches, and small coaching firms, whose clients are paid for by an organisation that wants structure and reports.

Three profiles fit well:

  1. The corporate executive coach. You work through HR or a sponsor, every engagement starts with a contract, and you run assessments and send progress reports. Simply.Coach's sponsor roles and scheduled reports were built for this. Our executive coaches page covers what Coachful offers this group if you want a second option.
  2. The coaching firm with a bench of associates. Surge and Optima add program managers, coach matching, payouts and NPS. If your business is placing coaches with clients, these features save real admin.
  3. The practice that needs a compliance statement. Simply.Coach states it is HIPAA compliant. If you are a licensed professional who also coaches and your work touches health information, that matters. Coaching itself is not treatment: if a client shows signs of a mental health condition, refer them to a licensed clinician, and check the HHS guidance on HIPAA and your own obligations with an attorney before choosing software for clinical records.

It fits less well for coaches who sell to individuals online, run group programs or memberships, or want one tool for their website, lead capture and email. Those coaches end up paying for Simply.Coach plus three or four other subscriptions.

Which one looks like you?

Coachful builds your coaching website from a few answers, in a design chosen for your niche, with programs, booking and payments ready behind it.

Build your platform

Why do we recommend Coachful as the main alternative?

Coachful is a coaching platform where one subscription covers booking, payments, contracts, program delivery with habits and check-ins, courses, a community, a website with funnels and email, and an AI assistant, with one login for the coach and one branded app for the client. As the makers, weigh our view accordingly, but the comparison with Simply.Coach is unusually clear on four points: the client journey lives under one login, delivery between sessions is deeper, the total stack cost is lower once you count marketing tools, and setup can be done for you.

Who Coachful is for

Coachful is built for coaches who deliver programs, not just sessions; solo coaches growing into a small team; and coaches replacing 4 to 6 tools. The coaching software overview shows the full feature set, and pages such as life coaches and business coaches show it by niche.

What Coachful does that Simply.Coach does not

  • Marketing in the same account. A section-based website builder with blog, custom domain, SEO settings and 30 designed homepage templates; booking, application, lead-magnet and checkout funnels with pixels and UTM tracking; a link-in-bio page that sells; and email lists, broadcasts and multi-step sequences with triggers, delays, branching and A/B splits.
  • Between-session delivery. Multi-week programs with weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins, goals with progress bars and streaks. Each client record shows a status of thriving, active, quiet or at risk.
  • Courses and community. Courses with modules, lessons, drip and completion tracking; a community feed, group chat, direct messages and video events, with cohort groups created automatically when someone enrolls in a program. See group coaching software for how cohorts work.
  • Payments without a platform fee. Payments run through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account with one-time payments, subscriptions, payment plans, order bumps, coupons, refunds, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Stripe Tax. Coachful has charged a 0% platform fee since August 2026; you pay only processing.
  • Michelle, the AI assistant. Michelle works from your live practice data, builds programs, drafts emails and content, summarises recorded sessions and briefs you before sessions. Questions and planning are included in your Coachful membership; confirmed builds and changes use AI credits. Learn more on the AI coaching assistant page.
  • ICF credential tracking. Coachful counts coaching hours and distinct clients against ACC, PCC and MCC thresholds and exports an ICF client coaching log with paid and pro bono hours. The thresholds themselves are set by the International Coaching Federation; our ICF hour tracking page shows the panel.

Scheduling covers the same ground as Simply.Coach and then some: booking pages with availability rules, buffers, minimum notice and time-zone detection; two-way Google, Apple/iCloud and Outlook sync; built-in video or auto-created Zoom, Meet and Teams links; email reminders plus SMS and WhatsApp once messaging is enabled; paid sessions, session credits and intake questions on booking.

Here is a short walkthrough of how programs are built and delivered in Coachful:

Clients see programs, sessions, progress and documents in their own branded home and app, so the place they pay is the place they learn and check in. Coaching agreements with e-signature go out before the first call and stay on the client record.

What Coachful does not do

Being straight about limits matters more in a review than in a sales page. Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and does not sign a BAA, so it is not for clinical record-keeping or insurance billing; on that point Simply.Coach's compliance statement is a genuine reason to choose it. Coachful has no PayPal, and every plan is paid once the trial ends. The client app ships under the Coachful listing with your branding, not under your own App Store account. There is no Garmin, Fitbit, Whoop or Oura sync, no multi-stage sales deal board for large teams, no Salesforce or HubSpot integration, and no routing forms that pick a host from form answers. It is not a course marketplace and has no third-party plugins. Its affiliate program tracks links, clicks, conversions and revenue, but payouts are recorded manually.

For corporate work, Coachful's team plans (Studio and Agency) add coach seats with per-coach availability and staff permissions, but it does not offer Simply.Coach's sponsor roles, coach matching or NPS surveys. A coaching firm built around HR sponsors should weigh that honestly.

How to start with Coachful

Plans are flat and monthly. Lower plans cap the number of clients, Pro is unlimited, team plans add seats, and monthly plans cancel in one click (current plans: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients). Start with a free trial, then hand over the setup work. Clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding, and a full client data export as a ZIP is always available.

Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. On every plan, you can open Create and choose "We'll build it for you · FREE", describe what you want, and attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files such as logos, photos, brand guides and copy. The Coachful team builds it inside your own account, usually within about 24 hours: a website, funnel, sales page, program, course outline and written material, email sequence, link in bio, lead quiz, event, automation or form. Nothing is invented; gaps such as credentials, testimonials and prices are left for you to fill. It does not include recording videos, logo design, ad management or ongoing marketing. One recent example: a leadership coach whose Squarespace renewal was days away got one clean homepage with a repeated "talk with me" button. Another, a business mentor for beauty professionals, got a 12-week mentorship sales page, a free start-up-guide funnel and rewritten follow-up emails. Read more about the free white-glove service.

What other Simply.Coach alternatives should you compare?

Beyond Coachful, the closest substitutes are Paperbell for simplicity, CoachAccountable for detailed accountability, CoachVantage for unlimited clients at a fixed per-coach price, and Practice Better for wellness practitioners. Prices below are as listed in October 2026. Our ranked list of Simply.Coach alternatives goes deeper.

Ranking criteria: one login for the whole client journey, delivery between sessions, total stack cost, and setup effort.

CoachVantage

CoachVantage's homepage in October 2026.

CoachVantage is a practice manager with CRM, scheduling, contracts and e-signatures, invoices, a client portal, group programs and small courses, priced per coach with unlimited clients. Clarity is US$39 a month and Aha! is US$59 a month as listed in October 2026, with a 14-day trial and no commission on revenue. Clarity caps booking pages, sales pages and e-signatures; our September 2026 profile found no multi-coach features and some reviewers still preferring Zoom to its built-in video. Pick it over Coachful if you want a traditional practice manager with unlimited clients and no interest in funnels or community.

Paperbell

Paperbell homepage introducing its all-in-one admin tool for solo coaches
Paperbell's homepage in October 2026.

Paperbell is a single-plan admin tool for solo coaches: booking, packages, payments, contracts, a client portal and a simple website, at US$97 a month as listed in October 2026 with a 30-day money-back guarantee. It holds Trustpilot 3.5 from 14 reviews (October 2026). It has no courses, community, or goal and habit tracking, and clients use it in a mobile browser. Pick it over Coachful if you only sell 1:1 packages and value the simplest possible setup over program delivery. See our Paperbell review.

CoachAccountable

CoachAccountable homepage introducing its coaching back office and client accountability tools
CoachAccountable's homepage in October 2026.

CoachAccountable is a detailed coaching back office with sessions, action plans, metrics, worksheets, courses, invoicing and agreements, priced per active client from US$20 a month for 2 clients to US$400 for 100, with a 30-day trial. It holds Trustpilot 4.8 from 47 reviews (October 2026). It has no website or marketing automation, and per-client pricing climbs quickly for group programs. Pick it over Coachful if you coach a small number of 1:1 clients and want granular accountability metrics above everything else. Compare them on Coachful vs CoachAccountable.

Practice Better and Delenta

Practice Better suits nutrition and wellness practitioners who need charting and telehealth, with a free Sprout plan for 3 clients and paid plans from US$35 a month as listed in October 2026; branding and custom URL start on Plus at US$99. Pick it over Coachful if you need clinical-style charting. Delenta offers CRM, scheduling, contracts and client portals from US$29 a month for 10 client portals, with courses and the mobile app only on Premium at US$79. Pick it over Coachful if you want a Simply.Coach-style practice tool with a different cap structure; our Simply.Coach vs Delenta page compares the two. More detail is in our Practice Better review.

How should you test Simply.Coach during the trial?

Use the 14 days to test the three things reviewers flag most: setup effort, the caps you will hit and the invoicing flow.

  1. Count your active clients and contracts today and in six months. If either passes 7, you are on Growth at minimum; past 30, you need Leap.
  2. Build one real program. Add action plans and nudges, then view it from the client app on a phone. Time how long it takes.
  3. Run a full payment cycle. Confirm which processor it uses, what fees apply and how recurring invoices work while automated invoices are marked Coming Soon.
  4. List the tools you still need. Website, email, funnels, community, courses. Add their subscriptions to the Simply.Coach price to get your real monthly cost.
  5. Export your data. Check that the spreadsheet export includes the notes and session history you would need if you leave.

Run the same checklist on any alternative so the comparison is fair. If Coachful is on your list, request a free white-glove build during the trial so you see your own site and program rather than a blank account.

What is our final verdict on Simply.Coach?

Simply.Coach is a well-rated, inexpensive practice manager that does its core job well, especially for corporate and executive coaching with contracts, sponsors and reports. Its weaknesses are structural rather than cosmetic: caps on every solo plan below Leap, a reported learning curve, invoicing automation still on the way, and no marketing layer at all.

Choose Simply.Coach if your clients come through organisations, you need sponsor reporting or a HIPAA statement, and you already have marketing handled elsewhere. Choose Coachful if you sell programs to individuals or groups and want your website, funnels, email, payments, program delivery, community and client app under one login, with the setup built for you at no extra cost. Frequently asked questions about Simply.Coach

Is Simply.Coach worth it?

For executive and corporate coaches who need contracts, assessments and sponsor reports, yes: it is well rated and cheap to start. For coaches who need marketing tools or plan to grow past 30 clients on a budget plan, the caps and missing features usually make an all-in-one platform better value.

How much does Simply.Coach cost?

As listed in October 2026, solo plans are US$9 (Starter), US$29 (Essentials), US$49 (Growth) and US$69 (Leap), and business plans are US$79, US$159 and US$289 per active coach. Only Essentials shows an annual price, US$290 a year. US prices include tax.

Does Simply.Coach have a free plan or free trial?

There is no free plan. The free trial lasts 14 days and does not require a credit card, though reviewers report trial limits of 3 clients and 10 sessions.

What are Simply.Coach's ratings?

In September 2026, Simply.Coach held 4.8 from 146 reviews on G2 and 4.6 from 41 reviews on Capterra. It did not have a Trustpilot profile.

Does Simply.Coach have a mobile app?

Yes. Clients can use native iOS and Android apps, and the platform is available in English, Spanish and French. White-labelling on your own domain starts on Leap for solo coaches.

Is Simply.Coach HIPAA compliant?

Simply.Coach states that it is SOC2, HIPAA and GDPR compliant. If you handle protected health information, ask for a signed BAA and confirm your obligations with an attorney. Coachful is not HIPAA-certified, so it is not the right choice for clinical records.

Can Simply.Coach build my website or funnels?

No. It offers a showcase page and landing pages, but no funnel builder, blog or marketing email sequences. Coaches usually pair it with a separate website and email tool.

What is Coachful's free white-glove service?

Every Coachful plan includes a free build service: you describe a website, funnel, program, course outline, email sequence or similar, attach references and files, and the Coachful team builds it inside your account, usually within about 24 hours. It does not include video recording, logo design, ads or ongoing marketing.

Can I move from Simply.Coach to Coachful?

Yes. Export your Simply.Coach data to spreadsheets, and Coachful imports clients, programs and content for you during onboarding. Keep both accounts running until active contracts and recurring payments have moved over.

What is the best Simply.Coach alternative?

For most coaches selling programs, Coachful, because it adds the website, funnels, email, community and between-session tools Simply.Coach lacks. CoachVantage suits coaches who want unlimited clients in a traditional practice manager, and CoachAccountable suits accountability-heavy 1:1 work.
