CoachAccountable vs Satori: Which Fits Your Coaching in 2026?

Choosing between CoachAccountable vs Satori comes down to one question: do you mainly need an accountability back office, or a simple way to sell packages and get booked? CoachAccountable is built around action plans, metrics, worksheets and session records, priced per active client. Satori is built around booking, packages, invoices and a client portal, with fewer client tiers and a lower bill once you pass 10 clients. Neither gives you a website, funnels or a native client app, so many coaches end up paying for other tools on top.
We make Coachful, a coaching platform that covers both jobs plus the marketing side, so we have a stake in this comparison. We will keep the head-to-head honest, show the real vendor pricing pages, and then explain where Coachful beats both and where it does not. Vendor facts come from each company's public pages as listed in October 2026, unless we say a figure dates from September 2026.

What is the short answer by use case?
Pick CoachAccountable if accountability between sessions is the core of your coaching and you have a small roster. Pick Satori if you sell session packages, want an affordable booking and invoicing setup, and expect more than 10 clients. Pick neither if you also need a website, funnels, courses or a community in the same login.
- Accountability-heavy 1:1 coaching with under 10 clients: CoachAccountable. Its action plans, metrics and worksheets are its reason to exist, and every plan carries the full feature set.
- Package-based coaching with a growing roster: Satori. Its per-month bill rises in three large steps rather than per client.
- A coaching company with several coaches: CoachAccountable includes unlimited coaches and admins on every plan, which Satori does not advertise.
- Coaches still studying for a credential: Satori's free Scholar plan, which you apply for through a form.
- Coaches who want booking, payments, programs, habits, courses, community, website and email in one place: Coachful, covered in its own section below.
How do CoachAccountable and Satori compare side by side?
CoachAccountable is deeper on accountability and team access; Satori is cheaper at scale and leaner on structure. Both are solid back offices, and both leave marketing to other tools. We ranked on four criteria that decide most coaches' total cost: one login for the whole client journey, between-session delivery, total stack cost, and setup effort.
| Tool | Best for | Between-session tools | Website and funnels | Client app | Setup help |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful | Coaches who deliver programs and want one login for the full client journey | Weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins, streaks, AI Coach | Yes: site builder, blog, booking, lead-magnet and checkout funnels, email sequences | Branded client experience inside the Coachful app | Free white-glove build of your site, funnel or program |
| CoachAccountable | Accountability coaching with a small active roster or a multi-coach firm | Action plans, metrics, worksheets | No landing pages, website or marketing automation (older profile) | No native mobile app (older profile) | Self-setup; bulk CSV import |
| Satori | Package-based coaches who want booking and invoicing | Packages and programs with a client portal | No landing pages, courses or community (older profile) | No native mobile app (older profile) | Self-setup |

What do CoachAccountable and Satori cost?
CoachAccountable starts at $20 a month for 2 active clients and climbs with every client band; Satori starts at $33 a month for up to 10 active paying clients and tops out at $124 a month for 150 clients (September 2026 figures). Below 5 clients the two are close. Above 10, Satori is far cheaper.
CoachAccountable pricing
CoachAccountable charges by active client count, with the full feature set on every plan and unlimited coaches and admins, as listed in October 2026. The ladder runs 2 clients for $20, 5 for $40, 10 for $70, 20 for $120, 35 for $200, 50 for $250, 75 for $340, 100 for $400, 150 for $600 and on up to 1,000 clients for $4,000 a month. Only active clients count, so a client who has finished is not billed. The pricing page says plainly there are no annual discounts and no add-ons to buy. The trial is 30 days with no credit card and no limits.

Satori pricing
Satori has four plans. The dollar figures were rendered by script and did not load when the page was checked in October 2026, so the amounts below are as listed in September 2026: Scholar is free for coaches studying for a certification, Essentials is $33 a month, Pro is $49 and Leader is $124. Paying annually gives two months free, which works out to roughly $27.50, $40.83 and $103.33 a month (our arithmetic, not printed figures). In October 2026 Essentials was confirmed at up to 10 active paying clients. The September 2026 profile listed Pro at 50 active clients, 10 programs and 120 bookings, and Leader at 150 active clients, 50 programs and unlimited bookings. The trial is 15 days with unrestricted access and no card during the trial, and Satori refunds you if you ask within 30 days of signing up. Our Satori pricing breakdown covers the limits in more detail.

What would you pay at each client count?
Here is the monthly subscription for each tool at common roster sizes. Coachful's figures come from its current plans.
| Active clients | Coachful | CoachAccountable | Satori (monthly, September 2026 figures) |
|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful | Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients | Per active client band | Three paid tiers |
| 5 clients | Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients | $40 (Level 1) | $33 (Essentials) |
| 10 clients | Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients | $70 (Level 2) | $33 (Essentials) |
| 20 clients | Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients | $120 (Level 3) | $49 (Pro) |
| 50 clients | Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients | $250 (Level 4) | $49 (Pro) |
| 100 clients | Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients | $400 (Level 5) | $124 (Leader) |
| 150 clients | Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients | $600 | $124 (Leader) |
The subscription is only part of the bill. Neither CoachAccountable nor Satori gives you a website or email marketing, so most coaches add a site builder and an email tool. Satori says it takes no cut of client payments; CoachAccountable's pricing page does not mention one either. In both cases your payment processor charges its normal fees.
The hidden cost: the tools around it
Take an example life coach with 20 clients who sells a 12-week package. On either tool they still need somewhere to publish a sales page, collect email sign-ups for a free guide, and send a nurture sequence. Those are separate subscriptions, separate logins and separate places a lead can fall through. That is the gap a third option has to close, and we come back to it below.
Which is better for accountability and between-session work?
CoachAccountable is clearly stronger here. Action plans, metrics and worksheets are its core, while Satori focuses on packages, scheduling and a portal where clients see what they bought.

CoachAccountable describes itself as a coaching back office: sessions, action plans, metrics, worksheets, courses, invoicing and agreements. The action plan model suits coaches whose value is the follow-through between calls. You assign actions, the client marks them done, and you track numbers over time. Public reviewers on Trustpilot rate it 4.8 from 47 reviews (seen October 2026), and the name itself tells you what it is for.
Satori is organised around the commercial side of a practice: discovery calls, packages, programs, invoices and contracts, plus a portal for the client. You can structure programs, but the plan caps (in the September 2026 profile, 3 programs on Essentials and 10 on Pro) suggest it treats programs as offers you sell rather than daily accountability engines.
If you mostly want habit and check-in tracking, our guide to tracking client habits without CoachAccountable shows what that looks like elsewhere.
Which handles booking and scheduling better?
Satori leans harder into booking, with discovery-session booking on its entry plan; CoachAccountable schedules sessions as part of its records. Satori's older profile noted no native Zoom integration, so check how video links are created before you commit.

Satori's Essentials plan advertises booking discovery sessions, and its plans were listed with booking caps in September 2026: 60 bookings on Essentials, 120 on Pro and unlimited on Leader. If you run many short sessions, that booking cap may matter before the client cap does. CoachAccountable handles sessions inside the client record, next to action plans and notes, which is tidy if you think of a session as one step in an accountability loop.
For a coach who lives in their calendar, the practical test is the same with both trials: connect your calendar, book a test session as a client, then reschedule it, and watch what the client receives.
How do payments, invoices and agreements compare?
Both tools invoice and handle agreements. Satori takes payment through PayPal or Stripe with no Satori charge on client payments; CoachAccountable's older profile lists Stripe, Square and PayPal.
If PayPal matters to your clients, both tools support it, which Coachful does not. CoachAccountable includes agreements in its back office; Satori lists contracts alongside invoices. If you sell with payment plans or coupons, test them during the trial. For what a good coaching agreement should cover, see our page on coaching contracts.
What about courses, groups and community?
CoachAccountable includes courses in its feature set; Satori's older profile lists no courses or community. Neither is built for group community or cohorts the way a dedicated group platform is.
If group programs are where you want to grow, the per-client model matters again: a 40-person cohort on CoachAccountable means paying for 40 active clients, which its own coach notes describe as expensive for large group programs. Satori's Pro plan covered 50 active clients in the September 2026 profile, which makes a mid-sized cohort affordable, though you would still need somewhere else for a community feed or group chat. Our page on group coaching software explains what to look for.
What about data, ICF hours and privacy?
CoachAccountable documents a per-client export of full coaching history and gives former clients lifetime access to their records. Satori documents a coaching-log export for ICF credentialing; a general client-data export was not verified.
- CoachAccountable: per-client Export on the Clients tab, bulk CSV import, lifetime record access for previous clients. It states it is not HIPAA compliant (older profile).
- Satori: coaching-log export for ICF credentialing (older profile). Useful if you are building toward ACC or PCC hours.
If you coach in health or wellness, remember that coaching is not medical treatment. Clinical records and anything that needs a HIPAA business associate agreement belong in a clinical system, and clients with medical or mental health concerns should be referred to a licensed professional. Leaving either tool later? Our guides to migrating from CoachAccountable and migrating from Satori walk through the export steps.
What is the client experience like on each?
On both tools the client works in a web portal in the browser; neither had a native mobile app in its older profile. CoachAccountable's portal centres on actions and metrics, Satori's on sessions, packages and invoices.
What that means in practice: a CoachAccountable client logs in to see what they committed to and report progress. A Satori client logs in to see upcoming sessions, what they have paid for and documents you shared. Neither gives the client a phone app with daily check-ins, habit streaks and a community feed in one place. If your clients do most of their work between sessions, the portal experience is worth testing on your own phone during the trial.
Which should you pick for which kind of coach?
Match the tool to how you deliver value and how many clients you carry. The table below sums it up, with Coachful first because it covers the most of these cases in one login.
| Tool | Pick it if you are... | Skip it if you need... | Trial |
|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful | A coach delivering programs with habits and check-ins who also wants booking, payments, a website, funnels, courses and community in one place | PayPal, HIPAA, or a wearable data sync | A free trial, plus the free white-glove build |
| CoachAccountable | An accountability coach with a small roster, or a firm needing unlimited coaches and admins | A website, funnels or a low bill above 20 clients | 30 days, no card |
| Satori | A package-based coach with 10 to 150 clients who wants booking and invoicing at a low monthly price | Courses, community, a website or native Zoom (older profile) | 15 days, no card during trial |
- New coach, first 3 clients: Satori's Scholar plan if you qualify as a coach in training; otherwise CoachAccountable's $20 Starter is the cheapest paid entry between these two.
- Executive or business coach with 8 to 15 clients: CoachAccountable if your work is metric-driven, Satori if it is session-driven.
- Coach with 30 or more clients: Satori, on price alone, unless you need CoachAccountable's team access.
- Coach who wants to grow through content and launches: neither on its own. Read on.
Is there a third option that beats both?
Yes, for most coaches who deliver programs and want to market themselves: Coachful. It combines CoachAccountable-style accountability (goals, habits, check-ins) with Satori-style booking and payments, then adds the website, funnels, email, courses and community both tools leave out.

What Coachful is. Coachful is a coaching platform. One subscription covers booking, payments, contracts, program delivery with habits and check-ins, courses, a community, a website with funnels and email, and an AI assistant, with one login for the coach and one branded app for the client. It is built for coaches who deliver programs, not just sessions, for solo coaches growing into a small team, and for coaches replacing 4 to 6 tools. The company is based in Tallinn, Estonia, and public reviewers rate it 4.5 on Trustpilot from 21 reviews.
Accountability between sessions
Coachful runs multi-week programs with weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins, goals with progress bars and streaks. Each client record holds goals, check-ins, habits, notes, intake answers, tags, payments and sessions, and shows a status of thriving, active, quiet or at risk, so you can see who needs a nudge before they drift.

Here is a short walkthrough of how check-ins work:

Booking and sessions
Booking pages include availability rules, buffers, minimum notice and time-zone detection, with two-way Google, Apple/iCloud and Outlook calendar sync. Sessions can use built-in video or automatically created Zoom, Meet or Teams links. Reminders go by email, plus SMS (24 hours before) and WhatsApp (1 hour before) once messaging is enabled. You can sell paid sessions and session credits, ask intake questions at booking, and assign multi-coach session types round-robin or to the least busy coach.

Payments, invoices and agreements
Payments run through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account: one-time payments, subscriptions, payment plans, order bumps, coupons, refunds, Apple Pay and Google Pay, and Stripe Tax. There is an invoice per transaction plus manual invoices, and since August 2026 Coachful charges a 0% platform fee, so you pay only Stripe or Razorpay processing. Coaching agreements with e-signature go out before the first call and are stored on the client record.

What the client sees
Your client gets your branding inside the Coachful app: their next session, programs, progress, documents, habits, courses and the community feed in one place. Courses support modules, lessons, drip and completion tracking, and cohort groups are created automatically when someone enrolls in a program.

Marketing, AI and ICF hours
The section-based website builder includes a blog, custom domain, SEO settings and 30 designed homepage templates. Booking, application, lead-magnet and checkout funnels support pixels and UTM tracking, and email lists, broadcasts and multi-step sequences cover nurture. Michelle, the built-in AI assistant, works from your live practice data to draft programs and emails, summarize recorded sessions and brief you before a call. ICF credential tracking counts coaching hours and distinct clients against ACC, PCC and MCC thresholds and exports a client coaching log; see ICF hour tracking.

Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. On every plan, you can open Create, choose "We'll build it for you", describe what you want and attach up to 8 reference links and 10 files. The Coachful team then builds it inside your own account, usually within about 24 hours: a website, funnel, sales page, program, course outline, email sequence, form or automation. Nothing gets invented, so there are no fake credentials, testimonials or prices; gaps are left for you to fill. A recent example: a leadership coach with a Squarespace renewal days away got one clean homepage with a repeated "talk with me" button. Another: a real-estate and money coach got a year-long cohort program with an application form, an eight-page site and a free nine-day bootcamp funnel. Recording videos, logo design, ad management and ongoing marketing are not included. More on the free white-glove service.

When Coachful beats both
- You want habits, check-ins and goals (CoachAccountable's strength) and booking plus packages (Satori's strength) in one tool.
- You need a website, funnels and email and would rather not pay for and connect separate tools.
- You want courses, a community feed and cohort groups for your group programs.
- You want someone to build your first site or program for you.
- Your roster is growing and you want flat plans, with an unlimited-client plan (current plans: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients).
When Coachful does not beat them
- You take PayPal. Coachful has no PayPal; both CoachAccountable and Satori support it.
- You are a coach in training with pro-bono clients. Satori's Scholar plan costs nothing. Coachful has no permanent no-cost plan.
- You need HIPAA. Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and offers no BAA. CoachAccountable says it is not HIPAA compliant either, so look at a clinical system.
- You need your own App Store listing. Coachful's client app ships under the Coachful listing with your branding.
- You want only accountability tracking and nothing else. If CoachAccountable's action plans fit you and your roster is small, a broader platform may be more than you need.
To start, open a free trial and use the free white-glove build to set up your site, program or funnel. During onboarding, clients, programs and content are imported for you. If you are currently on either tool, our Coachful vs CoachAccountable comparison and Satori alternative page cover the switch in detail, and the wider CoachAccountable alternatives and Satori alternatives roundups compare more tools.
How should you run the trials?
Run one realistic client through each tool from first contact to the second session. It takes an afternoon and tells you more than any feature list.
- Set up one real offer. Use your actual package, price and session length.
- Book yourself as a client. Use a second email address and your phone, then reschedule once.
- Pay and sign. Send the agreement and a test invoice, and check what arrives in the inbox.
- Do the between-session work. Assign an action or habit and complete it from the client side on mobile.
- Export. Try the data export before you load real clients, so you know you can leave.
- Price your next year. Use your expected roster in 12 months, not today's, and add any other tools you would still need.
Frequently asked questions
Is CoachAccountable or Satori cheaper?
Below 5 active clients they are close: CoachAccountable is $20 for 2 clients and $40 for 5, while Satori Essentials was $33 in September 2026. From 10 clients up, Satori is much cheaper, for example $49 against $250 at 50 clients. Neither price includes a website or email marketing.
Does Satori have a free plan?
Yes. The Scholar plan is free for people studying for a coaching certification, and you apply through a form. Other coaches start with a 15-day trial with no card needed during the trial.
Does CoachAccountable offer annual discounts?
No. Its pricing page, as listed in October 2026, says there are no discounts and no add-ons to buy. You pay monthly by active client band.
Which one has a mobile app?
Neither had a native mobile app according to their older profiles; clients use a web portal in the browser. Coachful clients use your branding inside the Coachful app.
Do CoachAccountable or Satori take a cut of payments?
Satori states it takes no charge on client payments, with standard PayPal and Stripe fees applying. CoachAccountable's pricing page does not list a transaction fee; processor fees still apply.
Can either tool build my website?
No. Both older profiles list no landing pages or website builder, so you would need a separate site. Coachful includes a website builder and funnels in your Coachful membership.
Which is better for ICF credential hours?
Satori documents a coaching-log export for ICF credentialing. Coachful counts hours and distinct clients against ACC, PCC and MCC thresholds and exports an ICF client coaching log with paid and pro bono hours.
What is Coachful's free white-glove service?
It is a build service included on every plan. You describe what you want, such as a website, funnel, program or email sequence, attach references, and the Coachful team builds it in your account, usually within about 24 hours. It does not include video recording, logo design or ad management.
Can I move my clients from CoachAccountable or Satori?
Yes. CoachAccountable offers a per-client export of coaching history, and Satori offers a coaching-log export. When you move to Coachful, clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding.
Is either tool suitable for health coaches handling medical information?
CoachAccountable states it is not HIPAA compliant, and Coachful is not HIPAA-certified. Coaching is not medical treatment, so keep clinical records in a clinical system and refer clients with medical concerns to a licensed professional.
