How to Start a Dating Coaching Business: A 90-Day Plan

To start a dating coaching business, pick one kind of client you can genuinely help (for example, people dating again after divorce), package a 4 to 12 week offer around a clear outcome, set prices from a revenue target rather than a gut feeling, register the business and get professional liability insurance, put booking, payments, agreements and program delivery in one place, and then win your first 10 clients through conversations and referral partners before you spend anything on ads. This guide on how to start a dating coaching business covers each of those steps with tables, outreach scripts, a pricing worksheet, a startup budget and a 30/60/90-day launch plan.
It assumes you have already decided to coach. If you are still weighing training, ethics and whether the work suits you, start with how to become a dating coach and come back. We make Coachful, the coaching platform used in the setup examples, so we say plainly where it fits and where it does not.
What are the steps to start a dating coaching business, at a glance?
There are nine steps, and most of them cost time rather than money. The times below are examples for someone working on the business part-time; the costs are what each step typically involves.
| Step | Time (example, part-time) | Typical cost |
|---|---|---|
| 1. Choose one client and one outcome | 3 to 7 days | $0 |
| 2. Design two or three packages | 1 week | $0 |
| 3. Set prices from a revenue target | 1 day | $0 |
| 4. Register the business (and get an EIN in the US) | 1 to 2 weeks | EIN is free from the IRS; state filing fees vary |
| 5. Insurance and a coaching agreement | 1 week | Insurance quotes vary; optional attorney review |
| 6. Set up website, booking, payments and delivery | 1 to 2 weeks | One software subscription plus card processing |
| 7. Build your first program | 2 weeks | Your time |
| 8. Land your first 10 clients | 4 to 8 weeks | Mostly your time |
| 9. Delivery, retention and referrals | Ongoing | Your time |
Is dating coaching a viable business?
Yes, if you serve a specific client with a specific problem, because people already pay for help with dating and many of them find the process stressful. The evidence is in how people date now, not in any industry revenue figure.
A Pew Research Center survey of 6,034 US adults (July 2022, published February 2023) found that three in ten US adults have used a dating site or app, and one in ten partnered adults met their current partner that way. Roughly a third of online dating users (35%) have paid to use a platform, rising to 45% among users with upper incomes. Among people who used dating apps in the past year, 55% said they often or sometimes felt insecure about the number of messages they received, and 52% of all users said they had come across someone they thought was trying to scam them.
Read that as a map of demand rather than a promise of clients: a large group of adults who already spend money on dating, a frustration (low response, overwhelm, doubt) that a coach can work on, and a safety concern you can address in your content. Who actually pays a coach tends to be narrower: people who have tried the apps on their own, are frustrated with the results, and value their time. Professionals, people re-entering dating after a long relationship or divorce, and people relocating to a new city are common examples. For a candid view from the client's side, our piece on whether dating coaches are worth it covers what coaching can and cannot fix.
Credentials, scope and ethics
Dating coaching does not have a single required credential, and the questions of training, ICF accreditation and ethics are covered in depth in how to become a dating coach, so we will not repeat them. Three business-level points matter here:
- Licensing is local. The SBA notes that most small businesses need a combination of licenses and permits from federal and state agencies, with requirements set by your activity and location. Check your Secretary of State and city or county websites, even for a home-based online practice.
- State your scope in writing. Dating coaching is not therapy, counseling or medical care. Your agreement and website should say so. Refer out when a client shows signs of depression or anxiety that disrupt daily life, trauma, an abusive or controlling relationship, substance misuse, or sexual health concerns, which belong with a licensed clinician or physician. A good working relationship with one or two local therapists is also a referral source in both directions.
- No manipulation, no guarantees. Teach honest self-presentation, consent and respect. Do not promise a partner, a number of dates or a timeline. Beyond ethics, the FTC treats promises and testimonials that misrepresent typical results as a legal issue (more on that in the legal section).
Who exactly is your client, and what do you sell them?
Choose one client and one outcome before you build anything. "I help singles find love" is too broad to market; "I help divorced women in their forties get back into dating with confidence in 90 days" tells the right person this is for them.
Example client profiles that work as a starting niche:
- People dating again after divorce or a long relationship (this overlaps with divorce coaching, a natural referral partner).
- Busy professionals in their thirties who want fewer, better dates.
- Introverted or shy daters who want a practical plan for apps and first dates.
- LGBTQ+ daters who want a coach who understands their dating landscape.
- People who have moved to a new city and are starting their social life over.
Use this sentence to test your positioning: I help [specific person] go from [current situation] to [concrete outcome] in [time frame], without [the thing they dread]. If you cannot fill it in with confidence, talk to five people who match the profile before going further.
Three example packages
Most dating coaches do better with packages than hourly sessions, because dating progress happens between calls: profile edits, conversations, first dates and the reflection afterwards. Here are three example offers you can adapt. The names, contents and lengths are illustrations, not a formula.
- Profile and First Date Sprint (4 weeks). Intake questionnaire, profile and photo review, two 60-minute calls, written feedback on messaging, and a first-date debrief form. Good as an entry offer and for clients who need a quick, visible win.
- 90-Day Dating Reset (12 weeks, 1:1). Six calls, a weekly program covering values and dealbreakers, profile, conversation, first dates and follow-up, small weekly dating habits, a check-in after every date, and message support between calls. This is the core offer most of your revenue should come from.
- Dating Again Circle (6-week group). Weekly group call, a private community for the cohort, the same program content in a lighter format, and one short 1:1 call. It lowers the price of entry and builds a community that refers others.
A single paid profile review session can sit underneath these as a low-commitment way to start, with its fee credited if the client moves into a package. Our guide to building coaching packages goes deeper on structure.

How should you price dating coaching?
Price from a revenue target and your weekly capacity, then check the result against what your clients can afford. Start with the income you need, add business costs and a tax set-aside, and divide by the number of client hours you can deliver well.
For reference, our rates dataset puts relationship coaching at roughly $100 to $200 an hour, based on Payscale data and community-reported rates. That is an estimate for relationship coaching in general, not a dating-specific survey, so treat it as a sanity check rather than a price list.
The table is an illustrative example of a part-time practice in month four, not market data or a forecast. Swap in your own prices and numbers.
| Offer (example) | Example price | Clients in the month | Revenue (example) | Coach hours in the month |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Profile review session | $150 | 4 | $600 | 5 |
| Profile and First Date Sprint | $450 | 3 | $1,350 | 9 |
| 90-Day Dating Reset (paid as 3 x $500) | $500 per month | 6 active | $3,000 | 18 |
| Dating Again Circle (one cohort every two months) | $300 | 5 per month on average | $1,500 | 4 |
| Total | 18 | $6,450 | 36 |
From that example revenue, subtract card processing (set by your payment provider and country), your software, insurance and any marketing, then set aside tax. In the US, self-employment tax alone is 15.3% of net earnings, before income tax, so agree a set-aside percentage with your accountant. The example works out to about $179 per coaching hour before costs, which shows why packages beat single sessions: the Reset clients carry the month.
Three pricing rules that hold up well:
- Offer a payment plan on the core package. A three-month plan makes a larger total feel manageable and matches the length of the program.
- Run a founding-client rate for your first five clients in exchange for detailed feedback and, if they are happy, an honest testimonial. Put the end date of that rate in writing.
- Raise prices when your calendar is about 70% full or when your core offer has a waiting list, not on a fixed date.
If you want to map this onto a full plan, our one-page coaching business plan template has a filled-in example.
What legal setup does a dating coaching business need?
At minimum you need a business structure, a tax registration, professional liability insurance, a written coaching agreement and a privacy approach for the sensitive information clients share. The US details below come from official sources; rules vary by state and country, so check with an accountant or attorney before you file.
Business structure and tax ID
The SBA describes a sole proprietorship as automatic if you do business without registering another structure, and "a good choice for low-risk businesses and owners who want to test their business idea," with the trade-off that you can be held personally liable for business debts. An LLC protects owners from personal liability "in most instances," and its members are still considered self-employed. An S corp is a tax election filed on Form 2553, and an LLC can be taxed as one; it is a conversation for your accountant once profits grow.
If you form an LLC, register it with your state first, then get an EIN. The IRS issues EINs online in minutes and for free; you never have to pay a fee for one. As a sole proprietor or single-member LLC, you report business income on Schedule C.
Taxes you will owe as a self-employed coach
- Self-employment tax: 15.3% (12.4% Social Security plus 2.9% Medicare), owed once net self-employment earnings reach $400, per the IRS. For 2026, the Social Security portion applies to the first $184,500 of combined wages and self-employment earnings (Form 1040-ES).
- Estimated taxes: generally required if you expect to owe $1,000 or more when you file (IRS). The 2026 due dates are April 15, June 15 and September 15, 2026, and January 15, 2027.
Insurance
The SBA lists professional liability insurance for businesses that provide services, protecting against financial loss from errors and negligence. For a dating coach, that covers a client claiming your advice caused them harm. General liability matters if you run in-person events or meet clients in public. The SBA also notes that an LLC's protection of personal assets "has limits," so insurance is not optional just because you formed one. Get two or three quotes from insurers that cover coaches.
Your coaching agreement
Send the agreement before the first call and have it signed. For dating coaching, include:
- Scope: coaching is not therapy, counseling or medical advice, and when you will refer out.
- No guarantee of a relationship, a number of dates or any specific outcome.
- Client responsibility for their own decisions and personal safety when meeting people.
- Confidentiality and its limits (for example, risk of harm to self or others).
- Payment terms, payment plans, refunds and what happens to unused sessions.
- Rescheduling and no-show rules, and how messaging between sessions works.
- Permission (or not) to use anonymized examples or testimonials.
Our page on coaching contracts with e-signature shows how this works in practice.

Testimonials, email and privacy
Dating coaches lean heavily on success stories, which is exactly where the FTC's rules bite. Under the Endorsement Guides, testimonials must reflect honest opinions, any connection such as a discount or free session must be disclosed clearly, and testimonials showing exceptional results need proof that those results are typical, or the ad must make clear what people generally achieve. The Consumer Reviews and Testimonials Rule, in effect since October 2024, prohibits fake reviews and offering incentives conditioned on positive sentiment. "My client got engaged in three months" is a risky headline unless you make clear it is not a typical result.
If you email a list, CAN-SPAM requires accurate headers, honest subject lines, a valid postal address and a working opt-out honored within 10 business days. And if you later sell a "become a dating coach" program, the FTC's Business Opportunity Rule and its rules on earnings claims may apply; get legal advice before you make any income claims.
Finally, privacy. Dating clients share unusually personal material: photos, sexual orientation, relationship history, and screenshots of conversations with matches who never agreed to be part of your coaching. Keep that material in one secure system rather than scattered across text messages and email, ask clients to blur other people's names and photos in screenshots, and delete what you do not need once the engagement ends. If you coach clients in the EU or UK, GDPR applies.
What tech stack does a dating coaching business need?
You need six things: a website, a booking page, payments, e-signed agreements, a way to deliver your program between sessions, and email. You can assemble them from separate tools or run them from one platform; the difference is cost, logins and how much of your client's progress you can actually see.

Coachful is a coaching platform that puts the whole client journey in one subscription: booking, payments, contracts, programs with habits and check-ins, courses, community, a website with funnels and email, and an AI assistant, with one login for you and one branded app for your clients. It is built for coaches who deliver programs rather than one-off sessions, solo coaches growing into a small team, and coaches replacing four to six tools. It is not HIPAA-certified, so it is not for clinical record-keeping or insurance billing, and it has no PayPal option and no permanent free plan. To start, take a free trial and ask the team to build your site or program for you. Our page for dating coaches shows how the pieces fit this niche.
The table compares Coachful with common tools a new dating coach might otherwise combine. Competitor prices are as listed in October 2026.
| Option | What it covers | What it leaves out | Monthly cost |
|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful | Website and funnels, booking, payments, e-signed agreements, programs with habits and check-ins, courses, community, email, AI assistant, branded client app | PayPal, HIPAA, clinical records | Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients |
| Calendly (Standard) | Booking pages, reminders, paid bookings | Client records, programs, contracts, website | $10 per seat, billed annually |
| Stan Store (Creator) | Link-in-bio store for products and paid calls | Contracts, client records, programs with check-ins; email only on Creator Pro | $29 ($25 billed annually) |
| Kit (Creator) | Email marketing, landing pages | Scheduling, client records, programs | From $39 for up to 1,000 subscribers |
| Paperbell | Booking, packages, payments, contracts, client portal, simple website | Courses, community, goal or habit tracking | $97 ($80.83 billed annually) |
| Kajabi (Basic) | Courses, community, website, funnels, email | Per-client plans, habits, daily check-ins | $179 ($143 billed annually) |
A common patchwork for a new coach (Calendly Standard, Stan Store Creator and Kit Creator) comes to about $78 a month at those list prices, and it still has no e-signed agreements, no place to track habits or date debriefs, and three separate logins for you and your clients. Our breakdown of online coaching business software covers every piece if you want to compare further, and best software for dating coaches ranks seven options for this niche.
In Coachful, payments run through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account with a 0% Coachful platform fee; you pay only Stripe or Razorpay processing. Booking, contracts, programs, community, website and email are included in your Coachful membership (current plans: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients).
Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. On every plan, you can go to Create > We'll build it for you, describe what you need (a website, a funnel, a sales page for your 90-Day Dating Reset, the program itself, an email sequence, an intake form), attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files such as your logo, photos and draft copy, and the Coachful team builds it inside your own account, usually within about 24 hours. Nothing is invented: no fake credentials, testimonials or prices, and gaps are left for you to fill. It does not include recording videos, logo design, ad management or ongoing marketing. As one recent example, a coach starting from nothing in the menopause and midlife niche received a five-page site in sage and cream with every button leading to a free 20-minute consultation, which is the same shape a new dating coach needs. Read more about the free white-glove service.

How do you set up your website, booking and payments?
Build a short website whose only job is to get the right person onto a consultation call, connect a booking page with intake questions, and take payment the moment someone says yes. Five pages are enough to launch.
Website
A launch site for a dating coach needs a homepage (who you help, the outcome, one button), an About page (why you do this work, your training, a photo that looks like you on a good day), a Work With Me page with your packages, a page for results or what to expect (honest, with any testimonials disclosed properly), and a contact or booking page plus a privacy policy. Repeat the same call to action everywhere: "Book a free 20-minute consult."
Coachful's section-based website builder includes a blog, custom domain, SEO settings and 30 designed homepage templates, plus an Import website option if you already have a site. See the coach website builder for details, or ask the white-glove team to build the site from your notes.

Booking
Set two session types to start: a free consult (20 minutes, with two or three intake questions) and a paid client session. Add buffers so you are not running from one emotional conversation into the next, set a minimum notice period, and let the page detect time zones in case clients book from other regions.
Coachful booking pages support availability rules, buffers, minimum notice, time-zone detection, two-way Google, Apple/iCloud and Outlook calendar sync, built-in video or auto-created Zoom, Meet or Teams links, and intake questions on booking. Email reminders are standard, with SMS (24 hours before) and WhatsApp (1 hour before) once messaging is enabled. More on the scheduling software page.

Payments
Take payment at the point of yes: a checkout link sent on the consult call, or a checkout funnel that also sends the agreement. Offer the core package in full or as a three-month plan, and use coupons for founding clients rather than editing prices by hand. In Coachful, you can sell one-time payments, subscriptions and payment plans, add order bumps and coupons, issue refunds, accept Apple Pay and Google Pay, and use Stripe Tax, with an invoice for every transaction. See coaching payment software.

How do you get your first 10 dating coaching clients?
Your first 10 clients will almost certainly come from people who already know you, people they refer, and partners who serve the same clients. Content builds over months; conversations work this week.
Channels that fit dating coaching
- Your own network. Friends, former colleagues and community groups. People rarely announce they want dating help, but they will pass your name to a friend who has been complaining about the apps.
- Referral partners. Therapists (you refer clinical cases to them; they refer clients who need practical dating help), divorce mediators and attorneys, dating-profile photographers, personal stylists, matchmakers (for people not yet ready for introductions), and organizers of singles events.
- Free profile reviews, done publicly with permission. Short videos or posts showing a before-and-after profile (with consent and identifying details removed) demonstrate your skill better than any claim.
- A lead magnet. A short checklist such as "The 10-minute dating profile audit" in exchange for an email address, followed by a short email sequence that invites people to a consult.
- Talks and workshops. A free online session on "dating again after 40" or "first dates without the dread," run through your own community, a local library or an employee resource group.
Scripts you can adapt
Message to your network:
Hi [name], I've started coaching people who are getting back into dating after a long relationship. I'm taking five founding clients at a reduced rate in return for honest feedback. If anyone you know has been talking about this, I'd be grateful if you passed my name along. No pressure either way.
Message to a referral partner (for example, a therapist):
Hi [name], I'm a dating coach working with [client type]. I focus on practical skills: profiles, conversations and first dates. Clients sometimes need clinical support I don't provide, and I'd like to know who to refer them to. Would you be open to a 15-minute call to see whether our clients overlap?
Follow-up after a consult:
Thanks for talking today, [name]. You said you want [their words about the outcome]. The 90-Day Dating Reset is built for exactly that, and here is the link to join, with the three-month option included. If now isn't the right time, that's fine; I'll check in once in a couple of weeks.
Run the consult like a coaching session
Spend most of the 20 minutes listening: where they are now, what they have tried, what they want in 90 days, and what has stopped them. Then check fit honestly (and refer out if the issue is clinical), describe one offer that matches, state the price once, and ask whether they would like to start. Track every consult and its outcome, so you can see your conversion rate after the first ten. Our guide to coaching business KPIs lists what else to watch monthly.
Here is a short walkthrough of how intake calls are tracked in Coachful:

For the lead magnet, Coachful includes booking, application, lead-magnet and checkout funnels with Meta Pixel and UTM tracking, plus email sequences with triggers, delays and branching, so the checklist, the follow-up emails and the consult booking sit in one place. See coaching funnel software.

How do you deliver dating coaching so clients stay and refer?
Deliver a structured program with small weekly actions and a check-in after every date, not just a series of calls. Clients make progress between sessions, and if you can see that progress, your calls become sharper and clients feel supported.
A practical 12-week structure for the 90-Day Dating Reset:
- Weeks 1 and 2: Foundations. Values, dealbreakers, what a good relationship looks like for this person, and patterns from past relationships.
- Weeks 3 and 4: Profile and presence. Photos, bio and app choice, with your written feedback.
- Weeks 5 to 7: Conversations. Openers, moving from chat to a date, and spotting scams and red flags.
- Weeks 8 to 10: Dates. Planning, first-date nerves, debriefs and deciding on a second date.
- Weeks 11 and 12: Follow-through. Early relationship communication, boundaries and a plan for after coaching.
Pair each phase with one or two small habits (for example, "send three thoughtful messages" or "say yes to one social invitation a week"), and a short date debrief form: how it went, what felt good, what they would change, and whether they want a second date. Those debriefs are your best coaching material.
In Coachful, programs run over multiple weeks with weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins, goals with progress bars and streaks, all delivered in your branded client app. Each client record brings together goals, check-ins, habits, notes, intake answers, payments and sessions, with a status of thriving, active, quiet or at risk, so you notice a client who has gone silent after a bad date. Michelle, the built-in AI assistant, can brief you before each session from that data and summarize recorded sessions. See coaching program software.
This walkthrough shows how a program is built:

Community and group delivery
Dating can feel lonely, and a cohort of people going through the same thing is a strong retention tool. Coachful creates cohort groups automatically when clients enroll in a program, with a community feed, group chat, direct messages and video events, which suits the Dating Again Circle. Our page on group coaching software has more detail. You can also configure an AI Coach, an AI version of you that selected clients can chat with between sessions, for questions like "how should I reply to this message?" when you are not available; review how you set it up and what it says before you switch it on.

Retention and referrals
- Offer a lighter monthly continuation (one call and message support) for clients who are dating actively at the end of the program.
- Ask for referrals at the moment of a win, such as a great second date, not at the end.
- Run a check-in at week six to review progress against the goal set in week one.
- Collect testimonials with written permission, honest wording and any incentive disclosed.

What does a 30/60/90-day launch plan look like?
Spend the first 30 days on setup, the next 30 on conversations, and the last 30 on delivery and your first public content. The milestones are examples; adjust them to your hours.
| Phase | Focus | Milestones (example) |
|---|---|---|
| Days 1 to 30 | Foundations | Niche sentence written; three packages and prices set; business registered and EIN obtained (US); insurance quotes in; agreement drafted; website, booking and checkout live; first program outline built |
| Days 31 to 60 | Conversations | Network message sent to 50 people; five referral partner calls held; lead magnet and three-email sequence live; 10 consults booked; first three to five founding clients enrolled |
| Days 61 to 90 | Delivery and proof | Founding clients halfway through the program; date debriefs reviewed weekly; first group cohort announced; two pieces of content per week; first honest testimonials collected; prices reviewed |
If the setup part worries you, read starting a coaching business when you're not tech-savvy; the white-glove build exists for exactly that situation.
How much does it cost to start a dating coaching business?
A lean launch can cost little beyond your software subscription and insurance, because the EIN is free and a sole proprietorship needs no state filing. The amounts below are an example budget, not quotes; prices vary by state, country and provider. Our line-by-line coaching startup budget goes further.
| Item | Lean (example) | Comfortable (example) |
|---|---|---|
| Coachful (website, booking, payments, agreements, programs, community, email) | Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients | Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients |
| Business structure | $0 (sole proprietorship) | LLC state filing fee (varies by state) |
| EIN (US) | $0 from the IRS | $0 from the IRS |
| Professional liability insurance | Your quote | Your quote, plus general liability for events |
| Agreement | Template you adapt | Example: a few hundred dollars for attorney review |
| Photos for your site | $0 (a friend and good light) | Example: a professional headshot session |
| Domain | Annual registration (varies) | Annual registration (varies) |
| Card processing | Your provider's rate per sale | Your provider's rate per sale |
| Training | Optional | Example: an ICF-accredited program |
What mistakes do new dating coaches make?
- Promising outcomes. "Find your person in 90 days" is a guarantee you cannot keep and a marketing claim the FTC can question. Promise the process and the skills.
- Coaching everyone. A broad niche makes every piece of marketing weaker. You can widen later.
- Drifting into therapy. When a client's pattern comes from trauma or depression, refer out and keep the coaching practical.
- Teaching manipulation. Tactics designed to pressure or deceive damage clients and your reputation. Teach honesty, consent and self-respect.
- Selling single sessions only. Dating progress happens between calls; one-off sessions rarely produce results clients can see, so they rarely refer.
- Testimonials without context. An engagement story with no disclosure about typical results, or a review given in exchange for a discount without saying so, creates FTC risk.
- Careless data handling. Screenshots of matches, photos and orientation details sitting in your phone's text messages are a privacy problem. Keep them in one secure system and delete what you no longer need.
- Tool sprawl. Five subscriptions and five logins cost money and attention you need for clients. See why a coaching business stops growing for other common breaks.

Frequently asked questions
Do I need a certification to start a dating coaching business?
There is no single required credential for dating coaching, but training improves your skills and your credibility with clients and referral partners. ICF-accredited programs are one option, and Coachful can track your coaching hours against ACC, PCC and MCC thresholds if you pursue a credential. Our guide on how to become a dating coach compares the routes.
Do I need an LLC to be a dating coach?
No. In the US, a sole proprietorship is automatic and the SBA describes it as a good choice for testing a business idea, though you are personally liable for business debts. An LLC adds liability protection "in most instances," and insurance still matters either way. Check with an accountant or attorney for your state.
How much should I charge as a new dating coach?
Work it out from your income target, costs, tax set-aside and weekly capacity, then sell packages rather than hours. Our rates dataset puts relationship coaching at roughly $100 to $200 an hour (Payscale and community-reported data), which is a sanity check, not a dating-specific benchmark. Founding-client rates with a clear end date help you get your first reviews.
How long does it take to get the first clients?
Plan for four to eight weeks of consistent outreach after your setup is done, though it varies widely. Messaging your network directly and setting up two or three referral partners gets conversations started faster than waiting for content to grow. Track consults booked each week rather than followers.
Can I run a dating coaching business entirely online?
Yes. Video sessions, booking pages that detect time zones, online payments and a client app let you work with clients anywhere. Check business registration, tax and data rules for where you live and where your clients are, especially if you coach clients in the EU or UK under GDPR.
Should I offer 1:1 or group dating coaching first?
Start with 1:1, because it teaches you what clients struggle with and gives you the material for a group program. Once you have five to ten clients through the core offer, a group cohort lets you serve more people at a lower price and builds a community that refers others.
What is Coachful's free white-glove service?
On every plan, you describe what you want built, such as a website, a funnel, a program or an email sequence, attach up to 8 links and 10 files, and the Coachful team builds it inside your account, usually within about 24 hours. Nothing is invented, so gaps are left for you to fill. It does not include video recording, logo design, ads or ongoing marketing.
Is Coachful HIPAA-compliant for sensitive dating conversations?
No. Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and does not sign a BAA, so it is not for clinical record-keeping or insurance billing. It is GDPR-ready, keeps client notes, check-ins and files in one place, and lets you export the full client data as a ZIP. Dating coaching is not a clinical service, but you should still handle client material carefully.
Can clients pay with PayPal in Coachful?
No. Payments run through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account, including one-time payments, subscriptions, payment plans, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Coachful charges a 0% platform fee; you pay only Stripe or Razorpay processing.
What should a dating coaching agreement include?
Scope (coaching is not therapy), no guaranteed outcomes, client responsibility for personal safety and decisions, confidentiality and its limits, payment and refund terms, rescheduling rules and testimonial permissions. Send it before the first call and keep the signed copy on the client record.
