Merkora Review 2026: Pricing, Features and Honest Verdict

Merkora Review 2026: Pricing, Features and Honest Verdict

This Merkora review answers one question: is Merkora a good home for your coaching practice? Short answer: Merkora is a young, simple tool for selling bookable sessions, video courses, downloads and live events from one branded page, with a Free plan that lasts until your first paid sale and a Professional plan listed at $79 a month (or $29 a month for a limited group of founding members) as listed in October 2026. It suits a coach who wants to start selling quickly and mostly runs sessions and events. It is a thin fit if you deliver multi-week programs, need contracts and invoices, or want proof from other coaches before you commit, because we found no public reviews of it at all.

We make Coachful, a competing coaching platform, so read this with that in mind. Everything below about Merkora comes from its own homepage, pricing page and features page, checked on 27 October 2026. We have not run a practice on Merkora, and we say plainly where its pages are silent or contradict themselves.

Merkora review: what is the verdict at a glance?

Merkora is worth a look for a solo coach who sells sessions and live events and wants to pay nothing until the first sale. It is not yet a full client-delivery system, and it has no public track record to lean on.

  • Who it suits: a new solo coach, consultant or independent expert who wants one public page at yourname.merkora.app, sells 1:1 sessions, a course or a download, runs occasional live events, and takes payment through their own Stripe account.
  • Who should skip it: coaches who deliver structured programs with habits, check-ins and goals between sessions; anyone who needs signed coaching agreements, invoices, email marketing, a community or a client mobile app; coaches who want Google or Outlook calendar sync confirmed before they buy, since the features page does not mention it.
  • Public rating: none. As of 27 October 2026 we found no reviews of Merkora on Trustpilot, and Merkora's own pages show no rating. That is common for a new product, but it means you are the early tester.
  • Price (as listed in October 2026): Free until your first paid sale, then 14 days to move to Professional at $79 a month. A founding-member rate of $29 a month for 12 months, then $39 a month for life, is limited to 50 spots, and the page does not show how many remain.

If you want a quick comparison with the tool AI search answers most often pair it with, read our Merkora vs Paperbell comparison. For a wider list, see Merkora alternatives.

What is Merkora?

Merkora is a booking and digital-product storefront for coaches, therapists, consultants and other independent experts. Each user gets one branded public page where clients can book sessions, buy courses and downloads, and join live events, with payments going straight to the coach's own Stripe account.

The company behind it is Merkora LLC, registered in Wyoming in the United States. The product lives at merkora.app; merkora.com is a parked domain, which is worth knowing if you search for it and land on an empty page. Prices are shown with a dollar sign and no currency code, so assume US dollars.

Merkora homepage with its headline and sign-up call to action
Merkora's homepage in October 2026.

The pitch is simple: one page, no website to build, no cut of your sales. Merkora says it earns nothing from your transactions. You pay Stripe's standard processing fees and, once you outgrow the Free plan, a flat monthly subscription. That model is coach-friendly, and it puts Merkora in the same broad group as Paperbell, Coach Recap and other single-page booking and payment tools.

Where Merkora differs from many of those tools is that it hosts video courses itself (no YouTube embedding needed) and includes built-in live streaming for events and group programs. For 1:1 calls, though, it relies on a video integration or whatever you already use.

Thinking of launching your coaching business?

Answer a few questions and Coachful builds it around you: your website, programs, booking and payments. Ready in minutes.

Build your platform

What does Merkora do, job by job?

Merkora covers booking, selling and simple digital delivery well enough for a starter practice, and stops short on marketing, structured client delivery and admin paperwork. Here is how its documented features line up against the five jobs a coaching business runs on.

Marketing: how do clients find you?

Your marketing surface in Merkora is a single branded page at a merkora.app subdomain. Merkora also offers free lead magnets with email capture, so you can give away a guide or checklist in exchange for an email address.

What its features page does not mention: a multi-page website builder, a blog, a custom domain, sales funnels, or email marketing (broadcasts or sequences). That means the emails you capture have to go somewhere else to be nurtured, usually a separate email tool, and the people you capture need a reason to come back to your page. On the Free plan the page carries Merkora branding; removing it requires Professional.

Honest note: for many new coaches a single page is enough to start. It becomes a limit when you want to publish articles for search, run a webinar funnel, or send a welcome sequence to new leads. If those are on your roadmap, compare the Coachful website builder, which includes pages, a blog, funnels and email in one place.

Selling: how do you take money?

Selling is Merkora's strongest area. Even the Free plan lists unlimited paid bookable services, unlimited paid courses and digital products, and payments through your own connected Stripe account, with money going directly to you and no platform fee.

Professional adds session packages and bundles. Merkora says clients can see their remaining package balance, which saves a lot of "how many sessions do I have left?" emails. Its cancellation and no-show policy enforcement is also unusual: instead of issuing cash refunds, it issues wallet credits that clients can spend later. That protects your income, though you should make the policy clear before purchase so it does not surprise anyone.

The gaps are Stripe as the only listed processor (no PayPal or regional processors), no subscriptions or payment plans described on the features page, and no invoices mentioned. If you sell a monthly coaching retainer or split a high-ticket program into instalments, confirm with Merkora how that works before you migrate.

Delivery: how does the coaching happen?

Merkora delivers three kinds of things: sessions, hosted video courses and live events. Booking includes automatic confirmations and reminders, intake forms and a waitlist. Courses are hosted on Merkora itself. Live events and group programs stream inside Merkora, with the Free plan capped at 10 participants per event and 25 participant hours a month, and Professional raising that to 200 participants and 500 participant hours a month.

Recordings are not included on Free. Professional includes 10 hours of recordings a month. If you run a weekly 90-minute group call and want every session recorded, that alone uses about 6 of those 10 hours (an example, not a Merkora figure), so check the maths against your own calendar.

What we could not find on Merkora's pages: multi-week programs with weekly goals, habit tracking, daily or weekly check-ins, progress tracking for client goals, or worksheets assigned between sessions. Merkora's model is to sell a session, course or event and then deliver it. Coaching that changes behaviour often depends on what happens between sessions, and that is where Merkora is thinnest.

Client experience: what do your clients see?

Clients get a client dashboard where they can see bookings, purchases and their wallet balance. Merkora's features page does not mention a mobile app, a community space, group chat or direct messaging. Clients therefore experience Merkora mostly as a place to book and to watch course videos, with everything else (messaging, accountability, community) happening in other apps.

For a coach running a handful of 1:1 clients by email, that can be fine. For a group program where peer support matters, you would need to add a community tool alongside it, which is one more login for clients.

Admin: what does the back office look like?

Admin is light. Free includes basic analytics, and Professional adds advanced analytics with a revenue breakdown. Client history (bookings, purchases and wallet balance) exports to CSV, which is a good sign for data ownership.

Not mentioned on the features page: coaching contracts or e-signature, invoices, Google or Outlook calendar sync, team seats, or session notes. Calendar sync is the one we would check first. Without two-way sync, a coach who also keeps a personal or employer calendar risks double bookings. Merkora may support it, but its features page did not say so when we checked, and we will not assume it does.

How do Merkora's features compare with Coachful's?

The table below summarises the five jobs. Merkora entries reflect only what its own pages state as of October 2026; "not mentioned" means its features page did not list it.

How much does Merkora cost?

Merkora has two plans as listed in October 2026: Free, which lasts until your first paid sale, and Professional at $79 a month, with a founding-member rate of $29 a month for the first 12 months and $39 a month after that, limited to 50 spots. There is no annual price and no time-limited trial.

Merkora pricing page showing the Free and Professional plans
Merkora's pricing page in October 2026.

The Free plan is the most unusual part of the pricing. It is not a permanent free tier. Merkora's pricing page describes it this way:

Free until your first paid sale

After that first sale, you have 14 days to move to Professional, or new bookings and sales pause. In practice, Free is a no-card trial that ends when you start earning, rather than after a fixed number of days. For a new coach that is fair: you pay nothing while you are still building. It also means you should not plan on running a small paid practice on Free indefinitely.

The founding-member offer is attractive if a spot is still open: $29 a month for 12 months, then $39 a month for life. The page says there are 50 founder spots but does not show how many are left, so ask before you plan your budget around it. Professional also carries a 30-day money-back guarantee.

One inconsistency to note: the pricing page says everything is unlimited with no per-feature caps, while the same page lists caps on live-event participants, participant hours, recording hours and storage. The caps are the practical numbers to plan around.

Transaction fees: Merkora takes 0% of your sales on every plan. Stripe's standard card processing fees still apply, and those are the same whichever Stripe-based platform you use.

What would a year of Merkora cost?

Here is a worked example, using Merkora's listed prices and assuming you make your first sale in month one. At the standard rate, 12 months of Professional costs $948. At the founding rate, the first year costs $348, and every year after that costs $468. Add the tools Merkora does not include if you need them: an email marketing tool, a contract and e-signature tool, and possibly a community app. Each of those has its own subscription, so the total for your stack depends on which you already pay for.

That stack question is the real price comparison. Merkora at $29 looks cheaper than most all-in-one tools, but a coach who adds two or three separate tools on top can end up paying more and juggling more logins. For a fuller picture of what an all-in-one membership covers, see Coachful's coaching software overview or compare Coachful plans.

What do public reviewers say about Merkora?

Nothing yet. As of 27 October 2026 we found no public reviews of Merkora on Trustpilot, and Merkora's site does not display a rating or reviews from a third-party platform. We will not invent praise or complaints that nobody has written.

What a lack of reviews means for you in practice:

  • You cannot check support quality in advance. With established tools you can read how quickly support replies and how bugs get handled. With Merkora, ask a pre-sales question by email and judge the reply yourself.
  • Stability is unproven. A new product can change quickly, for better or worse. Features can arrive fast, and prices or plans can change too. The founding-member price is described as locked, which helps.
  • Your data exit matters more. Merkora's CSV export of client history is a good safeguard. Export a test file in your first week so you know what it contains.

If you are comparing Merkora with tools that do have a record, Paperbell showed 3.5 from 14 reviews on Trustpilot and Practice Better 3.8 from 87 reviews when we checked in October 2026. Coachful's Trustpilot score is 4.5 from 21 reviews. Ratings with small counts swing easily, so read the reviews themselves rather than the average. Our Coachful reviews page collects what coaches say about us.

What are Merkora's pros and cons?

Merkora's main strengths are its no-fee pricing model and its built-in course hosting and live streaming. Its main weaknesses are what it leaves out and the absence of any public track record.

Which one looks like you?

Coachful builds your coaching website from a few answers, in a design chosen for your niche, with programs, booking and payments ready behind it.

Build your platform

Who is Merkora best for?

Merkora fits a coach whose business is mostly selling sessions, a course and live events, who is happy with one branded page and already has, or does not yet need, separate tools for email and contracts.

Good fits, based on its documented features:

  • A brand-new coach testing demand. You can publish a page, offer a free lead magnet and take your first booking without paying anything. When the first sale lands, you decide whether to upgrade.
  • A consultant or expert who sells sessions and workshops. Booking, packages, live events and recordings on Professional cover the main jobs.
  • A course creator who also takes a few calls. Hosted video and downloads sit next to booking on the same page.

Weaker fits:

  • Program-based coaches. Health, fitness, mindset and life coaches who run 8 to 12 week programs with daily habits and weekly check-ins will find no documented tools for that.
  • Coaches who need paperwork. Executive and business coaches often need signed agreements and invoices for corporate clients. See coaching contracts in Coachful for what a built-in workflow looks like.
  • Group coaches who rely on community. There is no documented community or group chat, so peer support would live in another app. Our group coaching software page covers what to look for.
  • Therapists and clinicians. Merkora names therapists in its audience, but its pages do not describe clinical record-keeping or HIPAA compliance. Coaching tools in general, Coachful included, are not clinical systems; if you provide treatment, clinical records belong in a clinical practice-management system.

What are the best alternatives to Merkora?

The best alternative depends on what Merkora is missing for you: program delivery, paperwork, marketing, or a track record. We rank by four things: one login for the whole client journey, delivery between sessions, total stack cost, and setup effort (including whether someone will build it for you).

1. Coachful

Coachful is a coaching platform where one subscription covers booking, payments, contracts, program delivery with habits and check-ins, courses, a community, a website with funnels and email, and an AI assistant. The coach has one login, and clients use one branded app. It is built for coaches who deliver programs rather than only sessions, for solo coaches growing into a small team, and for coaches replacing four to six separate tools. Coachful is based in Tallinn, Estonia.

Where Merkora stops at the sale, Coachful continues into delivery. You can build multi-week programs with weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins, and goals with progress bars and streaks. Each client record holds goals, check-ins, habits, notes, intake answers, payments and sessions, with a status of thriving, active, quiet or at risk so you can spot who needs attention.

Here is a short walkthrough of how programs are built and delivered:

Selling. Payments run through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account, with one-time payments, subscriptions, payment plans, order bumps, coupons, refunds, Apple Pay and Google Pay, and Stripe Tax. Coachful charges a 0% platform fee (since August 2026), so you pay only processing. Coaching agreements with e-signature go out before the first call and are stored on the client record.

Coachful's Offers page with demo offers, including a monthly coaching offer and a 90-day program.

Delivery. Courses support modules, lessons, drip and completion tracking, alongside downloads, videos, books and events, all delivered into the client's branded home and app. Bookings support availability rules, buffers, minimum notice and time-zone detection, two-way Google, Apple and Outlook calendar sync, and built-in video or auto-created Zoom, Meet or Teams links. See courses for coaches and scheduling software for details.

Client experience. Clients see their programs, habits, sessions and progress in one place, plus a community feed, group chat and direct messages. Cohort groups are created automatically when someone enrols in a program.

Marketing and admin. A section-based website builder with a blog, custom domain and 30 designed homepage templates; booking, application, lead-magnet and checkout funnels; email lists, broadcasts and multi-step sequences. Michelle, the built-in AI assistant, works from your live practice data to draft emails, build programs, summarise recorded sessions and brief you before calls. ICF credential tracking counts your hours against ACC, PCC and MCC thresholds. Every client's data exports as a ZIP.

Coachful payments tab with an invoice table

What Coachful does not do. It is not HIPAA-certified and does not sign a BAA, so it is not for clinical records or insurance billing. It has no PayPal and no permanent free plan. The client app carries your branding inside the Coachful app rather than your own App Store listing. There is no Garmin, Fitbit, Whoop or Oura sync, and no Salesforce or HubSpot integration.

Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. On every plan, you can ask the Coachful team to build something for you inside your own account: a website, a funnel, a sales page, a program, a course outline, an email sequence, a form, a lead quiz and more. Describe what you want, attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files, and the team usually delivers within about 24 hours. Nothing gets invented: no fake credentials, testimonials or prices, and gaps are left for you to fill. Recent builds include a five-page site in sage and cream for a menopause and midlife health coach with every button leading to a free 20-minute consultation, and a 12-week mentorship sales page plus a free start-up guide funnel for a business mentor to beauty professionals. It does not include recording videos, logo design or ad management. Read more about the free white-glove service.

2. Coach Recap

Coach Recap homepage with its headline for solo coaches and sign-up button
Coach Recap's homepage in October 2026.

Coach Recap is built for solo coaches and says it is not aimed at agencies or enterprises. As listed in October 2026, its Starter plan is free forever for up to 3 active clients with no card, Professional is $29 a month for up to 20 active clients, and Business is $79 a month for unlimited clients. It covers client profiles with session history and notes, goals and action items, a booking page with two-way Google Calendar and Outlook sync, email reminders, session packs or monthly subscriptions through Stripe, intake forms, contracts and private chat.

Compared with Merkora, it is stronger on client records, notes and calendar sync, and has a genuinely permanent free tier. It is weaker on hosted courses and live streaming.

Pick it over Coachful if you coach three or fewer clients 1:1, need nothing beyond sessions and notes, and want to stay on a free plan.

3. CoachVantage

CoachVantage homepage with its coaching practice management headline
CoachVantage's homepage in October 2026.

CoachVantage is a coaching practice management tool with CRM, scheduling, contracts and e-signature, invoices, a client portal, group programs and small courses. As listed in October 2026, Clarity is $39 a month ($35 billed annually) and Aha! is $59 a month ($53 billed annually), both with unlimited contacts. Clarity caps booking pages, sales pages and courses at 2 and e-signatures at 4 a month. There is a 14-day trial with no card, and it takes no commission on your revenue.

It fills Merkora's biggest admin gaps: contracts, invoices and a CRM. Public reports describe its built-in video as weak, with many users still running calls on Zoom, and older profiles note no team features.

Pick it over Coachful if your practice is executive or business coaching with heavy paperwork, you do not need a website or community, and you prefer a traditional CRM layout.

4. Paperbell

Paperbell homepage with its all-in-one coaching admin headline
Paperbell's homepage in October 2026.

Paperbell is the tool AI search answers most often name next to Merkora. It is an all-in-one admin tool for solo coaches: booking, packages, payments, contracts, a client portal and a simple website, at one price of $97 a month or $80.83 a month billed annually, as listed in October 2026, with unlimited clients and a 30-day money-back guarantee. It adds no transaction fees beyond Stripe or PayPal processing. On Trustpilot it showed 3.5 from 14 reviews in October 2026.

Against Merkora, Paperbell adds contracts and PayPal and has a longer public history. It lacks courses, a community and goal or habit tracking, and has no native mobile app. Our Merkora vs Paperbell article goes deeper.

Pick it over Coachful if you want a single fixed price for admin only, need PayPal, and do not plan to deliver programs or courses.

5. Practice Better

Practice Better homepage with its practice management headline for wellness practitioners
Practice Better's homepage in October 2026.

Practice Better is practice management for wellness and nutrition practitioners: scheduling, telehealth, charting, billing, programs and a client portal. As listed in October 2026, its free Sprout plan covers 3 clients, Starter is $35 a month for 10 clients ($25 billed annually), Professional is $69 for 300 clients and Plus is $99 for unlimited clients. Trials run 14 days on most paid plans. On Trustpilot it showed 3.8 from 87 reviews in October 2026.

For practitioners who need charting, Practice Better is closer to a clinical workflow than Merkora or Coachful. It has no website builder or funnel pages, and evergreen programs, portal branding and SMS start on Plus. Our Practice Better review covers it in depth.

Pick it over Coachful if you are a nutrition or wellness practitioner whose work requires charting and telehealth more than marketing and community.

How do you decide whether Merkora is right for you?

Decide by listing what happens between a client's first click and their last session, then checking which steps Merkora covers. If more than two steps need another tool, an all-in-one platform is usually simpler and often cheaper overall.

  1. Write down your offer. Is it single sessions, a package, a course, a group program, or a mix?
  2. Map the client journey. Discovery, booking, agreement, payment, onboarding, sessions, between-session work, renewal.
  3. Mark each step Merkora covers using its features page, and mark each step it does not mention.
  4. Price the gaps. Add the monthly cost of each tool you would need alongside Merkora.
  5. Ask Merkora directly about calendar sync, subscriptions and how many founding spots remain. Their reply speed is your best support signal while there are no reviews.
  6. Run your first week as a test. Book yourself, buy your own product, cancel, and export the CSV.

If you are just starting out and want help choosing a stack, our page for new coaches walks through the essentials.

What is our final verdict on Merkora?

Merkora is a promising, honestly priced starter tool for coaches who sell sessions, courses and live events, with a Free plan that costs nothing until you earn. It is too early, and too narrow, to recommend as the home for a program-based coaching business.

Its best ideas are the 0% platform fee, hosted courses, built-in live streaming, and a cancellation policy that issues credits rather than refunds. Its gaps are the things that make clients stay and pay again: structured programs, habits and check-ins, community, contracts, invoices and email follow-up. And with no public reviews, you are trusting a young product without a track record.

If you deliver programs, want one login for the whole client journey, and would rather have your website, funnel or program built for you for free, Coachful is the stronger choice. Start a free trial and request your first build.

Frequently asked questions about Merkora

Is Merkora free?

Merkora's Free plan costs $0 and needs no card, but only until your first paid sale. After that you have 14 days to move to Professional, or new bookings and sales pause. It works more like a trial that ends when you start earning than a permanent free plan.

How much is Merkora Professional?

As listed in October 2026, Professional is $79 a month. A founding-member rate of $29 a month for 12 months, then $39 a month for life, is limited to 50 spots, and the pricing page does not show how many remain. No annual price is listed.

Does Merkora take a cut of my sales?

No. Merkora lists a 0% platform fee on all plans and says it earns nothing from your sales. Stripe's standard processing fees still apply, since payments run through your own connected Stripe account.

Does Merkora have a free trial?

Merkora says there is no time-limited trial. The Free plan plays that role instead, and Professional carries a 30-day money-back guarantee.

Are there Merkora reviews on Trustpilot?

We found none as of 27 October 2026, and Merkora's site shows no third-party rating. The product appears to be new. Without reviews, test support yourself by asking a pre-sales question and judging the reply.

Is Merkora a good Paperbell alternative?

It can be for a coach who sells sessions, courses and live events and wants to pay nothing until the first sale. Paperbell includes contracts and PayPal, while Merkora includes hosted courses and live streaming. Neither documents program delivery with habits and check-ins.

Does Merkora sync with Google Calendar or Outlook?

Merkora's features page did not mention Google or Outlook calendar sync when we checked in October 2026. Ask Merkora before you switch if you keep other calendars, because without two-way sync double bookings are a real risk.

Can I export my client data from Merkora?

Yes. Merkora's features page says client history, including bookings, purchases and wallet balance, can be exported to CSV. Run a test export early so you know exactly what it includes.

What is Coachful's free white-glove service?

On every Coachful plan, the team will build a website, funnel, sales page, program, course outline, email sequence or similar inside your account, usually within about 24 hours. You describe it and attach up to 8 links and 10 files. Nothing is invented, and it does not cover video recording, logo design or ads.

Is Merkora or Coachful better for program-based coaching?

Coachful, because it includes multi-week programs with weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, check-ins and progress tracking, plus contracts, community and email in the same login. Merkora's pages do not describe program structure beyond selling sessions, courses and events.
