12 Best Paperbell Alternatives for Solo Coaches (2026 Guide)

12 Best Paperbell Alternatives for Solo Coaches (2026 Guide)

The best Paperbell alternatives for solo coaches are the tools that keep Paperbell's simple admin (packages, booking, payments, contracts) and add what a one-person practice usually outgrows first: delivery between sessions. If your clients only need to book, pay and sign, Paperbell is still a tidy choice. If they need a program, daily habits, a group to belong to and an app to open on Tuesday morning, you need something built for that, and you need it without hiring an assistant to hold five tools together.

Our pick is Coachful. We make Coachful, so weigh that, but the reasoning is checkable: it keeps booking, payments and e-signed agreements, then adds multi-week programs, habits, check-ins, courses, a community and a branded client app, plus a website with funnels and email, all under one login. Below you will find a five-question checklist, a table that maps your answers to a pick, then all 12 tools ranked with prices as listed in October 2026.

What does Paperbell do well for a solo coach, and where does it stop?

Paperbell does the admin layer of a solo practice well, for one flat price. As listed in October 2026 it costs $97 a month or $970 a year, with unlimited clients, sessions, packages and files, and no add-ons. That price covers a coaching website, scheduling, payments and packages, a client portal, contracts, email workflows, forms, group coaching, video call integration, notes, digital downloads and online classes. Payments run through Stripe or PayPal with no added Paperbell transaction fee. Our Paperbell pricing breakdown and full Paperbell review go deeper.

Where solo coaches outgrow it is the space between calls. Our September 2026 profile of Paperbell found no goal or habit tracking, no community feed, no full course builder with modules and drip, and no native mobile app (clients use the mobile browser). For a coach selling a six-session package, none of that matters. For a coach selling a 12-week program where the real change happens on the days between calls, it matters a lot. You end up adding a course tool, a community app, a habit tracker and an email platform, and the one-price simplicity that drew you to Paperbell disappears. We cover the client side in what Paperbell's client portal shows and the group side in Paperbell group coaching.

A solo coach also wears every hat. You are the marketer, the scheduler, the bookkeeper and the coach. So the right alternative is not just a feature list; it is the one that removes the most hand-offs between tools you personally have to maintain.

Which five questions should you answer before switching?

Answer these five about your own practice. Your answers point to a pick in the table that follows.

  1. What do clients do between sessions? Nothing structured, worksheets only, or a program with weekly goals, daily habits and check-ins?
  2. Do you sell to groups or cohorts? If yes, do members need a shared space to post, ask and meet live, or just a group call link?
  3. How many active clients will you have in 12 months? Per-client pricing that looks cheap at 5 clients can triple by 40.
  4. Where do new clients come from? Referrals only, or a website, a lead magnet and email sequences that you run yourself?
  5. How much setup time do you have? A free weekend, or close to none because client work fills the week?

Which tool fits your answers?

Use this table as a shortcut. Find the row whose description sounds most like your practice.

How did we rank these Paperbell alternatives?

We ranked on four things that decide whether a solo practice runs on one system or six. Every price comes from the vendor's own pricing page as listed in October 2026 (Kajabi, HoneyBook and Dubsado were read on 27 October 2026); notes on limits come from vendor documentation and our September 2026 vendor profiles. We did not run paid accounts on every tool, so where we describe experience we say what vendors document and what public reviewers report.

Ranked on: one login for the whole client journey, between-session delivery, total stack cost at 5, 15 and 40 clients, and setup effort (including whether someone will build it for you).

1. Coachful: the best Paperbell alternative for solo coaches

A laptop showing a client's coaching hub and a phone showing a habit tracker on a kitchen table
Coachful's client coaching hub on a laptop and the habit tracker on a phone, both with demo data.

Coachful is a coaching platform where one subscription covers booking, payments, coaching agreements, program delivery with habits and check-ins, courses, a community, a website with funnels and email, and an AI assistant. The coach has one login; the client gets one app with the coach's branding. It is built for coaches who deliver programs, not just sessions, for solo coaches growing into a small team, and for coaches replacing four to six tools. Coachful is based in Tallinn, Estonia, and holds a Trustpilot score of 4.5 from 21 reviews.

What carries over from Paperbell

Everything a Paperbell user relies on has a direct counterpart. Booking pages have availability rules, buffers, minimum notice and time-zone detection, with two-way sync to Google, Apple/iCloud and Outlook calendars. Sessions get built-in video or an auto-created Zoom, Meet or Teams link, plus email reminders, and SMS (24 hours before) and WhatsApp (1 hour before) once messaging is enabled. You can sell paid sessions and session credits and ask intake questions at booking.

Payments run through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account: one-time, subscriptions, payment plans, order bumps, coupons, refunds, Apple Pay and Google Pay, and Stripe Tax. Coachful has charged a 0% platform fee since August 2026, so you pay only processing. Coaching agreements go out for e-signature before the first call and are stored on the client record (see coaching contracts).

What a Paperbell client never had

This is the part that changes a solo practice. You build multi-week programs with weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins, goals with progress bars and streaks. Clients see their week in the app, tick off habits, answer check-ins, and you see who is thriving, active, quiet or at risk on the client record before you open the call. Enroll a client in a group program and a cohort group is created automatically, with a community feed, group chat, direct messages and live video events (more on group coaching software).

The demo Programs view in Coachful shows an enrolled group program, its current week and its members.

Here is a short walkthrough of how programs are built and delivered:

Courses (modules, lessons, drip, completion tracking), downloads, videos, books and events all land in the same branded home, and more than 40 ready-to-film program templates and 48 course templates with quizzes give you a starting structure. Michelle, the built-in AI assistant, works from your live practice data: it briefs you before sessions, summarizes recorded sessions, drafts emails and builds programs. Questions and planning are included in your Coachful membership; confirmed builds and changes use AI credits. If you want it, Michelle also gives private feedback on your own coaching against ICF Core Competencies 3 to 8, and Coachful counts your coaching hours against ACC, PCC and MCC thresholds (ICF hour tracking).

The marketing side a solo coach usually patches together

Paperbell includes a simple website. Coachful's section-based builder adds a blog, custom domain, SEO settings, 30 designed homepage templates and an Import website option, plus booking, application, lead-magnet and checkout funnels with pixels and UTM tracking. Email lists, broadcasts and multi-step sequences with triggers, delays, branching and A/B splits sit in the same account, so a lead who downloads your guide flows into a sequence and then into a booking without a Zapier chain.

Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. From Create, choose "We'll build it for you" and describe what you need: a website, funnel, sales page, program, course outline and written material, email sequence, intake form or something else. Attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files such as your logo, photos and existing copy. The Coachful team builds it inside your own account, usually within about 24 hours. Nothing is invented: no fake credentials, testimonials or prices; gaps are left for you to fill. One recent build: a leadership coach with a Squarespace renewal days away got one clean homepage with a repeated "talk with me" button. Another, a somatic coach leaving Kajabi, had the homepage and About page rebuilt and the contact form connected. Recording videos, logo design, ad management and ongoing marketing are not included. More detail in how the free white-glove service works.

Where Coachful is not the right fit

Be clear on the limits. Coachful does not support PayPal, so if many clients pay you that way, plan the move. It is not HIPAA-certified and offers no BAA, so it is not for clinical record-keeping or insurance billing. Every plan is paid after the trial. The client app ships under the Coachful listing with your branding, not under your own App Store account. There is no Garmin, Fitbit, Whoop or Oura sync. It is not a course marketplace and has no third-party plugins.

Price: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients. Plans are flat monthly; lower plans cap the number of clients, Pro is unlimited, and monthly plans cancel in one click. To start, take a free trial and request the white-glove build for your website or first program on day one. If you are newer to coaching, Coachful for new coaches shows the lightest setup.

2. Kajabi: for solo coaches whose business is courses first

Kajabi suits the solo coach whose income is shifting from 1:1 hours toward courses, memberships and an email list. As listed on its pricing page on 27 October 2026, Basic is $179 a month (or $143 a month billed yearly) with 5 products, 2,500 contacts and 1 website. Growth is $249 a month ($199 billed yearly) with 50 products and 25,000 contacts, and Pro is $499 a month ($399 billed yearly) with unlimited products, 100,000 contacts and 3 websites. Communities, funnels, landing pages and marketing emails are listed as unlimited, and Kajabi says it takes no revenue share. Kajabi Payments card fees for US entities start at 2.9% + $0.30 on Basic.

Compared with Paperbell, Kajabi gives you far more on the content and audience side: course hosting, community, funnels and email in one place. Kajabi's own FAQ says Pro is the plan for coaches who want their own app in the App Store.

The trade-off for a session-based solo coach: Kajabi is priced for creators, and the 5-product cap on Basic fills up fast if every package, course and lead magnet counts as a product. Coaching admin such as signed agreements before a first call, per-client habits and check-ins, and a client health view are not its center of gravity, so many coaches pair it with a separate scheduler or contract tool. Our Kajabi alternatives guide covers that trade in detail.

Pick it over Coachful if your revenue is mostly self-paced courses sold to a large email list, 1:1 coaching is a small add-on, and you want a native app under your own App Store account on the Pro plan.

3. HoneyBook: proposals and invoices for package sellers

HoneyBook is a client-service CRM used across creative and service businesses, and it covers the same admin ground Paperbell does with a stronger proposals and invoicing engine. On 27 October 2026 its pricing page listed Starter at $29 a month billed yearly, Essentials at $49 a month billed yearly ($59 billed monthly) and Premium at $109 a month billed yearly ($129 billed monthly). Every plan includes unlimited clients and projects. Starter covers invoices and payments, proposals and contracts, a calendar, templates, a client portal and up to 2 live lead forms. Essentials adds the Scheduler, automations, SMS reminders, a QuickBooks Online integration and up to 2 team members. HoneyBook lists a 30-day free trial with no card, and card fees starting at 2.7% + 10 cents, with bank transfers at 1.5%.

For a solo coach, HoneyBook's best trick is the proposal: a client chooses a package, signs and pays from one file. If your sales process is a discovery call followed by a custom quote, that flow is cleaner than most coaching tools.

What it does not do is coaching delivery. There are no programs, habit trackers, check-ins, courses or community, so the client relationship lives in your calls and email. Booking also sits on Essentials, not Starter, so the realistic price for a Paperbell-like setup is the Essentials figure. Compare the two in Paperbell vs HoneyBook.

Pick it over Coachful if you sell custom-quoted packages, never run programs or groups, and the proposal-to-payment flow is the part of your week that most needs fixing.

4. Dubsado: the budget pick for paperwork-heavy onboarding

Dubsado is the cheapest way on this list to get contracts, forms, invoices and automated workflows for unlimited clients, as long as you pay yearly. On 27 October 2026 its pricing page listed the Starter Plan at $335 a year and the Premier Plan at $525 a year, both in USD with unlimited projects and clients and client portals. Extra brands cost $10 a month each; three additional users are included, and 4 to 10 users cost $25 a month. Dubsado's FAQ says the free trial lasts 21 days with full Premier access and no card. Monthly-billed figures were not shown in the plan table we read, so we have not listed them.

Solo coaches who like Dubsado usually love its forms and workflows: an inquiry triggers a questionnaire, then a contract, then an invoice, then a welcome email, without you touching it. Premier adds scheduling templates, automated workflows and bookkeeping integration, which is where most coaches land.

The ceiling is the same as HoneyBook's. Dubsado is built for project-based service businesses, so it has no programs, habits, courses or community, and it is not a website builder. Its workflows also have to be designed by you, which matters if your answer to question five was "no setup time".

Pick it over Coachful if your budget is the deciding factor, you are fine paying yearly, and your clients need intake forms and contracts but nothing structured between sessions.

5. Coaches Console: an older all-in-one with a higher entry price

Coaches Console homepage presenting its all-in-one coaching business system
Coaches Console's homepage in October 2026.

Coaches Console has been around longer than most tools here, and it aims at the same all-in-one idea as Coachful: CRM, calendar, website, client portal, email and invoicing, with courses on the higher plan. As listed in October 2026, the Core Console System is $197 a month ($166.42 a month billed yearly) and the Total Console System is $297 a month ($249.75 a month billed yearly), which adds unlimited products and courses. There is no free trial; billing details are required at signup, with a 30-day money-back guarantee instead.

For a Paperbell switcher, Coaches Console solves the "my website and email live somewhere else" problem in one account. It is the highest entry price in the coaching-admin group, roughly double Paperbell's monthly fee, and reviewers describe the interface as dated in our September 2026 profile. Habit tracking, daily check-ins and a community feed are not part of its documented feature set.

Pick it over Coachful if you specifically want a long-established vendor, are comfortable paying a premium without a trial, and your clients need a portal and email more than daily program delivery.

Which one looks like you?

Coachful builds your coaching website from a few answers, in a design chosen for your niche, with programs, booking and payments ready behind it.

6. CoachVantage: unlimited clients, capped extras

CoachVantage homepage presenting its coaching practice management software
CoachVantage's homepage in October 2026.

CoachVantage is a coaching practice manager with a per-coach price and unlimited contacts, which makes it attractive to a solo coach who expects the roster to grow. As listed in October 2026, Clarity is $39 a month ($35 billed yearly) and Aha! is $59 a month ($53 billed yearly), with a 14-day trial and no card. CoachVantage states it takes no commission on your revenue; Stripe and PayPal fees apply.

It covers CRM, scheduling, contracts with e-signature, invoices, a client portal, group programs and small courses. The caps are on the extras rather than clients: Clarity allows 2 group programs, 2 sales pages, 2 booking pages, 4 e-signatures a month, 2 contract templates and 2 courses. Aha! lifts most of those limits but keeps 5 contract templates and 5 courses. Our September 2026 profile also notes that its built-in video (CVMeet) is reported as weak by users, many of whom stay on Zoom, and that it has no team features.

The four e-signatures a month on Clarity is the number to check: a solo coach onboarding five new clients in a busy month hits it.

Pick it over Coachful if you want a low fixed monthly price for unlimited clients, run only one or two group programs, and do not need habits, check-ins or a full website.

7. Practice Better: when your coaching borders on wellness practice

Practice Better homepage presenting its practice management platform for wellness practitioners
Practice Better's homepage in October 2026.

Practice Better is practice management for wellness and nutrition practitioners: scheduling, telehealth, charting, billing, programs and a client portal. As listed in October 2026, Sprout is free for 3 clients, Starter is $35 a month ($25 billed yearly) for 10 clients, Professional is $69 a month ($59 billed yearly) for 300 clients, Plus is $99 a month ($89 billed yearly) for unlimited clients, and Team is $155 a month. Trials run 14 days, or 30 on Team. It holds a Trustpilot score of 3.8 from 87 reviews, seen 25 October 2026.

For a solo health or wellness coach, charting is the reason to look here. For most other solo coaches it is more clinical than needed. Evergreen programs, portal branding, a custom URL and SMS only start on Plus at $99 a month, which is above Paperbell's fee. Our September 2026 profile found no website builder or funnel pages. Coaching is not treatment: if a client's needs look clinical, refer them to a licensed professional. Coachful is not HIPAA-certified, so clinical records belong in a clinical system. See Paperbell vs Practice Better for a direct comparison.

Pick it over Coachful if you keep charting-style notes as part of a wellness practice, need practitioner-grade records, and do not need a website or funnels from the same tool.

8. Satori: simple packages, billed on active clients

Satori homepage presenting its coaching practice tool for packages and scheduling
Satori's homepage in October 2026.

Satori looks the most like Paperbell on this list: scheduling, a client portal, packages and programs, invoices and contracts. The difference is the pricing model. As listed in October 2026, Essentials is $33 a month ($27.50 billed yearly) for up to 10 active paying clients, Pro is $49 a month ($40.83 billed yearly), and Leader is $124 a month ($103.33 billed yearly). A free Scholar plan exists for coaches studying for a certification, by application. Only active clients count toward billing. The trial is 15 days with no card, and Satori does not charge on client payments beyond standard Stripe and PayPal fees.

Our September 2026 profile put Pro at 50 active clients and Leader at 150, with caps on programs and bookings too, so check the current numbers before you commit. That profile also found no native mobile app, no native Zoom integration, and no landing pages, courses or community.

Pick it over Coachful if you want Paperbell's simplicity at a lower price for a small roster, sell packages rather than programs, and are happy to keep your website and email elsewhere.

9. CoachAccountable: deep accountability, priced per client

CoachAccountable homepage presenting its coaching back office for action plans
CoachAccountable's homepage in October 2026.

CoachAccountable is a coaching back office with real depth in the area Paperbell lacks: action plans, metrics, worksheets, plus sessions, courses, invoicing and agreements. It holds a Trustpilot score of 4.8 from 47 reviews, seen 25 October 2026. Pricing is per active client, as listed in October 2026: Starter $20 a month for 2 clients, Level 1 $40 for 5, Level 2 $70 for 10, Level 3 $120 for 20, Level 4 $250 for 50, and Level 5 $400 for 100. The trial is 30 days with no card and no limits.

That price curve is what to watch. At 5 clients CoachAccountable undercuts Paperbell; at 20 it passes it, and at 40 you are on Level 4. Our September 2026 profile also found no native mobile app, no website, landing pages or marketing automation, and CoachAccountable states it is not HIPAA compliant. See Paperbell vs CoachAccountable.

Pick it over Coachful if you keep a small roster that will stay small, care most about detailed action plans and metrics, and have your marketing handled elsewhere.

10. Simply.Coach: structured engagements with tiered caps

Simply.Coach homepage presenting its coaching platform for contracts and programs
Simply.Coach's homepage in October 2026.

Simply.Coach organizes coaching around contracts, programs and sessions, with booking pages and a client portal, plus business tiers for coaching companies. As listed in October 2026, solo plans run Starter $9 a month (3 coachees, 1 contract, 1 program), Essentials $29 ($24.17 billed yearly; 7 coachees, 3 contracts, 3 programs), Growth $49 (30 coachees, 10 contracts and programs) and Leap $69 (unlimited). The trial is 14 days with no card.

Every solo tier below Leap caps clients, contracts and programs at once, so growth means plan jumps on three counters. Automated invoices were marked "Coming Soon" on the solo pricing page, and there are no refunds for mid-period cancellations. Its business tiers, with program managers and sponsors, show where the product is heading: coaching delivered inside organizations more than a solo coach marketing to individuals.

Pick it over Coachful if your clients come through organizations that want formal engagement contracts and you are comfortable invoicing outside the tool for now.

11. Delenta: low-cost portals with features gated to Premium

Delenta homepage presenting its coaching platform with client portals
Delenta's homepage in October 2026.

Delenta offers CRM, scheduling, contracts, client portals and group coaching, with courses on its top solo plan. As listed in October 2026, Starter is $29 a month ($19.08 billed yearly) with 10 client portals, Pro is $49 ($39.08 billed yearly) with 40 portals and up to 6 calendars, and Premium is $79 ($58.25 billed yearly) with unlimited portals. Delenta states no additional transaction fees; Stripe and PayPal fees apply. Its page was inconsistent on trial length (a 14-day headline, a 7-day FAQ). Trustpilot showed 4.1 from 5 reviews on 25 October 2026.

The catch for a growing solo coach is that the course creator and mobile app sit only on Premium, so the features that move you past Paperbell cost the top price. Multi-coach features need the custom-priced Teams plan.

Pick it over Coachful if you mainly need branded client portals for under 40 clients at a low price, and courses or a mobile app are not part of the plan.

12. Quenza: worksheets between sessions, admin elsewhere

Quenza homepage presenting its client activities and worksheets app
Quenza's homepage in October 2026.

Quenza is a client-engagement tool for coaches and therapists: activities, worksheets, programs, chat and a client app. As listed in October 2026, Spark is $25 a month ($20 billed yearly) for 10 clients, Growth $50 ($40 billed yearly) for 250, Impact $125 for 400, and Collective $160 for up to 3 professionals. The trial is 30 days with no card. Trustpilot showed 4.3 from 8 reviews on 25 October 2026.

It ranks last for a Paperbell switcher because it replaces the opposite half of Paperbell. Client payments and invoicing are marked as planned, and our September 2026 profile found no scheduling or video calls. You would keep Paperbell (or another admin tool) and add Quenza, which is the two-tool setup this article is trying to help you avoid.

Pick it over Coachful if you only want an exercise and worksheet app to sit beside an admin tool you are happy with.

What does each tool cost at 5, 15 and 40 clients?

Here is the monthly list price for the cheapest plan that covers each roster size, as listed in October 2026 (Kajabi, HoneyBook and Dubsado read on 27 October). For HoneyBook we use Essentials because booking starts there. Dubsado bills yearly only in the table we read, so we show the yearly price. Card processing fees are extra everywhere.

Tool5 clients15 clients40 clients
CoachfulLite: $29/month for up to 5 clientsSolo: $49/month for up to 20 clientsPro: $99/month with unlimited clients

Delenta$29/mo (Starter)$49/mo (Pro)$49/mo (Pro)
Quenza$25/mo (Spark)$50/mo (Growth)$50/mo (Growth)

The sticker price is only half the comparison. Most tools below Coachful in this table cover admin only, so a solo coach running programs and a group adds a course tool, a community app, an email platform and often a website host. As an illustrative example, a coach on CoachVantage Clarity who adds a separate community app, an email tool and a website builder now pays four bills and maintains four logins. Total that stack before you compare it with the Coachful row (current plans: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients).

How does a solo coach move from Paperbell to Coachful?

Plan the switch so no client misses a session or a payment. Here is the order that keeps money and sessions safe, using a coach who sells a six-session package and a 12-week group program as the example.

Two monitors showing an invoice table and a client agreements tab during a software switch
Coachful's payments tab with demo invoices on one screen and the client Agreements tab on the other.
  1. Export your Paperbell client list and history. Our September 2026 profile notes the list lives in the Clients area; a documented CSV export was not verified, so check what you can download before you cancel. Coachful imports clients, programs and content for you during onboarding.
  2. Connect Stripe. Link your own Stripe account to Coachful. Clients paying through PayPal will need a new card payment method, since Coachful does not support PayPal.
  3. Rebuild the six-session package as a paid session credit offer, and attach your coaching agreement so it goes out for e-signature before the first call.
  4. Turn the 12-week program into a Coachful program with weekly goals, two or three daily habits and an evening check-in. Start from one of the program templates or ask the white-glove team to build it from your existing outline.
  5. Set up the website and a lead-magnet funnel, or request both through "We'll build it for you". Point your domain once the pages are ready.
  6. Move recurring subscriptions last, at each client's next renewal date, so nobody is billed twice.

Our step-by-step guides on migrating from Paperbell and switching without losing a client cover the data and payment details.

What red flags and switching costs should you watch for?

The expensive mistakes in a switch are rarely about features. They are about pricing curves, payment methods and time.

  • Per-client pricing that looks cheap today. CoachAccountable at 5 clients is cheaper than Paperbell; at 40 it costs more than double. Price your 12-month roster, not your current one.
  • Caps on things that are not clients. CoachVantage Clarity caps e-signatures at 4 a month; Simply.Coach caps contracts and programs; Kajabi Basic caps products at 5. Read the small rows on each pricing page.
  • Admin-only tools sold as "all-in-one". If programs, habits, community and email still need separate subscriptions, add them to the price before comparing.
  • Payment method changes. Paperbell supports PayPal; several alternatives, Coachful included, do not. Tell clients early and move them at renewal.
  • Trial terms. Coaches Console has no trial at all, and Delenta's page gave two different trial lengths. Confirm before you plan a test month.
  • Your own setup time. A tool that takes three weekends to configure costs you three weekends of client work. Factor in whether anyone will build it for you.

What is the verdict for solo coaches leaving Paperbell?

If Paperbell's admin is enough and you are only after a lower price, Satori or CoachVantage get you there for less at a small roster. If proposals and paperwork are your pain, HoneyBook or Dubsado fit. If you are mostly a course creator, Kajabi is the stronger content platform.

For the solo coach who has outgrown Paperbell because clients need structure between calls, Coachful is the clear pick. It keeps booking, payments and e-signed agreements, adds programs, habits, check-ins, courses, community and a branded client app, and puts your website, funnels and email in the same account. The free white-glove build removes most of the setup time, which is the real cost for a one-person practice. Frequently asked questions

What is the best Paperbell alternative for a solo coach?

For a solo coach who runs programs, groups or their own marketing, Coachful is the best fit because it keeps Paperbell's booking, payments and contracts and adds between-session delivery, community, a branded client app and a website with funnels and email. If you only want a cheaper admin tool for a small roster, Satori or CoachVantage are worth a look.

Is there a cheaper alternative to Paperbell?

Yes, for small rosters. As listed in October 2026, CoachVantage starts at $39 a month with unlimited clients and Satori at $33 a month for up to 10 active paying clients, against Paperbell's $97. Check client, contract and e-signature caps, and add the cost of any tools you still need for courses, community or email.

Does Paperbell have a mobile app for clients?

Our September 2026 profile found no native mobile app; Paperbell clients use the portal in a mobile browser. Coachful gives clients a branded app inside the Coachful app, and Kajabi offers a native app under your own App Store account on its Pro plan.

Can I keep PayPal if I leave Paperbell?

It depends on the tool. Coachful does not support PayPal; it uses your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account, with Apple Pay and Google Pay. Satori, CoachVantage and Delenta list PayPal among their payment options, so check each vendor's current setup.

What is Coachful's free white-glove service?

It is a free build service on every Coachful plan. You describe what you want, such as a website, funnel, program, course outline or email sequence, attach references and files, and the Coachful team builds it in your account, usually within about 24 hours. It does not include recording videos, logo design or ad management.

Which Paperbell alternative is best for group coaching?

Coachful creates a cohort group automatically when a client enrolls in a program, with a community feed, group chat and live video events. Kajabi also has strong communities but lighter coaching admin. CoachVantage supports group programs but caps them at 2 on its Clarity plan.

How long does it take to switch from Paperbell?

It depends on how much you run, so work in this order: client list, payments, packages and agreements first, then programs and the website. Move recurring subscriptions at each client's renewal date. Coachful imports clients, programs and content for you during onboarding.

Is Coachful HIPAA-compliant?

No. Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and does not sign a BAA, so it is not for clinical record-keeping or insurance billing. If your work involves clinical records, keep them in a clinical system and refer clients whose needs go beyond coaching to a licensed professional.

Does Coachful charge transaction fees?

Coachful has charged a 0% platform fee since August 2026, so you pay only Stripe or Razorpay processing. Paperbell also lists no additional transaction fees, with processor fees applying.

Can I try Coachful before paying?

Yes, you can start with a free trial; there is no permanent no-cost plan after it. Plans are flat monthly, lower plans cap the number of clients, and monthly plans cancel in one click.
