Stan Store Free Trial (2026): Length, Card Rules and Costs

The Stan Store free trial lasts 14 days on either plan, and when it ends your first month is charged: $29 on Creator or $99 on Creator Pro, as listed in October 2026. There is no free plan to fall back on. Stan's help center and pricing article do not say outright whether a card is needed to start, but a charge at the end of the trial means you should expect to give a payment method.
That answers the quick question. The harder one for a coach is whether those 14 days can tell you if Stan Store will run your practice or only sell from your Instagram bio. We make Coachful, a competing platform, so read our recommendation with that in mind. Stan Store's plan and trial terms below come from its own help center and pricing article, and we say where a term is not published. We have not run a paid Stan Store account ourselves.

What are the Stan Store free trial terms?
You get 14 days on Creator or Creator Pro, you can sell during that time, and billing starts when the trial ends. Here is each term next to what Stan publishes as of October 2026.
| Term | What Stan publishes | What it means for you |
|---|---|---|
| Length | 14 days | Long enough to test a storefront, short for testing a client journey |
| Plans covered | Creator and Creator Pro | You can trial the $99 plan, so check which one you are on before day 14 |
| Card at sign-up | Not stated explicitly in the pages we read | Expect to enter a payment method, because a charge follows the trial |
| When the trial ends | The first month is charged | No action from you means you become a paying customer |
| Free plan afterwards | None. Stan's answer to the question is "Not at the moment" | Pay or leave. Affiliate-only accounts exist, but Stan says they do not include store features |
| Selling during the trial | Allowed once Stripe or PayPal is connected | Real sales are possible from day one, and processing fees apply to them |
| Contact import during the trial | Up to 10 contacts on a Creator Pro trial | You cannot test your full email list before paying |
| Refund after the first charge | Not stated in the pages we read | Do not assume one. Cancel before the charge if you are unsure |
If you only want the money side, our full Stan Store pricing breakdown goes deeper on the plans, and the Stan Store review covers how the product holds up beyond the trial.
Does the Stan Store free trial require a credit card?
Stan does not state it explicitly in its pricing article or its plan comparison, so treat it as likely rather than confirmed. The help center says the first month is charged when the 14-day trial ends, and an automatic charge needs a payment method on file.
That is our inference, not a published rule, and sign-up screens can change without notice. Read the sign-up page on the day you register. If it asks for a card, note the date the charge is due before you enter anything.
Some competitors are clearer on this. As listed in October 2026, Podia runs a 14-day trial with no card and no plan selection, Kajabi makes the card optional, and WithMe requires one. If avoiding a card matters to you, the comparison table further down shows the terms side by side.

What can you do during the 14 days?
You can build your store and start selling as soon as you connect Stripe or PayPal, according to Stan's help center. The help center notes one limit worth knowing: a Creator Pro trial can import only 10 contacts.
That makes this a useful kind of trial: you can put a real offer in front of real followers and see whether it sells. A coach with an engaged audience could run a paid call or a small digital product through it within the first week. The sales are real, so standard Stripe or PayPal processing comes out of them.
What you cannot do is test something the product does not offer. Stan's plan lists, as of October 2026, show no coaching contracts, no invoices, no client records and no programs with client tasks, habits or check-ins. Fourteen days of good storefront results will not reveal those gaps until you have clients who need them.
What happens when the Stan Store trial ends?
Your first month is charged and the subscription carries on at the plan's rate. Stan's help center states the charge, and the pricing article sets the amount at $29 a month for Creator or $99 a month for Creator Pro.
Stan's pricing article and plan comparison leave three things unsaid. They do not say how much notice you get before the charge, how a store is treated if you cancel on the last day, or what is charged if you pick annual billing during the trial. Check your account's billing settings or ask Stan's support about any of these before you rely on them. Stan's help center points account changes such as upgrades to the Settings tab, which is the first place to look.
The practical advice is simple. Put a reminder on day 12, not day 14, and decide by then. If you started on Creator Pro to try everything, also decide which plan you want before the $99 charge goes through rather than after it.
What does Stan Store cost once the trial is over?
Stan Store has two plans: Creator at $29 a month or $300 a year, and Creator Pro at $99 a month or $948 a year, as listed in October 2026. Stan has no standalone pricing page, so these figures come from its pricing article, updated July 22, 2026, and its help center.
| Plan | Monthly billing | Annual billing | Limits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful | Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients | All plans: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients | Lower plans cap clients, Pro is unlimited, team plans add seats; monthly plans cancel in one click |
| Stan Store Creator | $29/month | $25/month, billed as $300 a year | Unlimited products and customers, one store |
| Stan Store Creator Pro | $99/month | $79/month, billed as $948 a year | Unlimited products and customers |
Unlimited products and customers on the entry plan is a fair deal for a seller with many low-priced items. No per-customer cap means your bill does not grow as your audience does.
What does each plan add, and which should you trial?
Trial Creator if you want a simple store with booking, and Creator Pro only if email and funnels are part of how you sell. The gap between them is $70 a month on monthly billing, so it is worth knowing what it buys.
Creator includes:
- A mobile and desktop storefront
- Calendar booking
- Analytics
- An unlimited course builder
- Recurring subscriptions
- Lead magnets and email collection
- A community
- AutoDM for Instagram
Creator Pro adds:
- Discount codes and limited-quantity offers
- Upsells and order bumps
- Funnels of up to 20 products
- Afterpay and Klarna
- Affiliate management
- Contact import
- Email broadcasts and flows
- Meta, Google, Pinterest and TikTok pixels
Note the split on email. Creator collects addresses, but sending broadcasts and flows sits on Creator Pro. A coach who nurtures leads by email is effectively choosing between $99 a month or a separate email tool next to the $29 plan. Trialing Creator Pro and then dropping to Creator means giving up the features you tested most, so try the plan you actually expect to pay for.
What fees apply after the trial?
Stan charges 0% on your sales, and Stan's line is that you keep 100% of every sale. You still pay standard Stripe or PayPal processing. Stan lists no add-ons in the materials we read, and it advertises no team seats, so there is no published per-seat fee because there is no published seat option.
| Cost type | Stan Store, as listed in October 2026 |
|---|---|
| Stan transaction fee | 0% on both plans |
| Payment processing | Standard Stripe or PayPal rates, paid to the processor |
| Buy now, pay later | Afterpay and Klarna listed on Creator Pro only |
| Add-ons | None listed |
| Overages | None listed: products and customers are unlimited |
| Team seats | None advertised |
Here is an example of what that means on a single sale. Suppose your processor charges 2.9% plus $0.30, a common card rate, and you sell a $300 coaching package. Processing costs about $9.00, Stan takes $0, and you keep $291. Check your own Stripe or PayPal rate, because it varies by country and card type.
What does a coach actually pay after the trial?
The subscription is the smaller part of the answer. A coach on Stan Store pays $29 to $99 a month, plus whatever it costs to add the contracts, invoices, client records and program delivery that Stan does not list. The table below shows three example practice sizes, with Stan's plan chosen by what each coach is likely to need.
| Cost line | New coach, 5 clients | Growing coach, 15 clients | Established coach, 40 clients |
|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful | Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients | Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients | Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients |
| Likely Stan Store plan | Creator | Creator Pro, for email and upsells | Creator Pro |
| Stan Store, monthly billing | $29/month | $99/month | $99/month |
| Stan Store, annual billing | $25/month | $79/month | $79/month |
| Tools still needed beside Stan Store | Email sending, e-signature contracts, invoicing, somewhere to keep client notes | E-signature contracts, invoicing, a client record system, program delivery with check-ins | The same, plus a way to add a second coach if you grow into a team |
We have left the side tools unpriced because the right ones vary by coach. Price your own: list what you would use for contracts, invoices, client records and program delivery, get the real monthly figure for each, and add it to the Stan line. That total is the number to compare with an all-in-one plan, not $29.
The sizes are examples, not plan requirements. Stan's plans do not cap customers, while lower plans on Coachful do cap clients, which is why its price changes across the first row. A coach selling only digital products to thousands of buyers may pay less on Stan Store for a long time.
What are the hidden costs and gotchas?
Nothing here is a trick, but several details are easy to miss during a two-week trial. These are the ones most likely to cost a coach money or time.
- The charge is automatic. No action means the first month is billed. On Creator Pro, that is $99.
- The trial doesn't let you test your whole list. A Creator Pro trial imports only 10 contacts, so your first real broadcast to your full list happens after you have paid.
- A trial banner on Creator. Stan's help center describes removing the "Try 14 Days Free" banner from the bottom of a store as a Creator Pro feature. If you want a clean storefront, check how this looks on your Creator store during the trial.
- Dropping a plan removes features you may rely on. Email flows, upsells, pixels and funnels are listed only on Creator Pro. What happens to live flows when you downgrade is not covered in the pages we read, so ask before you build a launch on them.
- Leaving means rebuilding. According to our September 2026 profile, customers and contacts export to CSV, while course and community content must be rebuilt elsewhere. The longer you stay, the bigger that job gets. Our guide to migrating from Stan Store covers the steps.
- Some costs never show on Stan's bill. Contracts, invoices and client records have to live somewhere, and each of those tools has its own subscription and its own login.
How should you use the 14 days?
Test your full client journey, not only the storefront. A trial spent adjusting colors tells you little, so run a real offer end to end and write down each step that forces you out of the product.

- Days 1 and 2: set up the sale. Connect Stripe or PayPal, list one real offer and add your booking calendar. Put the link in your bio.
- Days 3 to 5: run a real buyer through it. Use a friend or a past client. Note what the buyer sees after paying and how the session gets booked.
- Days 6 to 8: test what happens after the sale. Try sending a coaching agreement, issuing an invoice and recording session notes. Write down where each one has to happen.
- Days 9 to 11: test your retention tools. If you are on Creator Pro, send a broadcast and build a flow with your 10 imported contacts. Test the Instagram AutoDM on one post.
- Day 12: add it up. Take the plan price, add every tool you listed along the way, then decide. Keep it, switch plan or cancel.
Then compare that against how you plan to work in a year. If your coaching is mostly digital products and single calls, your list of outside tools may be short. If it is multi-week programs, your list will be longer. Our coaching software guide explains what a full setup covers.
What does Stan Store do well?
Stan Store is a simple way to sell from a link in your bio, and it is well reviewed. It held 4.7 on Trustpilot from 2,205 reviews when we checked on October 25, 2026, and the 0% fee on sales is a real advantage over tools that charge a percentage on their entry plans.
The $29 plan also covers a lot for the money: courses, community, booking, subscriptions and Instagram AutoDM, with no product or customer caps. PayPal is supported, which some buyers prefer and which Coachful does not offer. Afterpay and Klarna are available on Creator Pro. If you sell from social media and want to be live quickly, these strengths matter.
Where coaches outgrow it is the work after the purchase. Stan is built around the sale, and its materials do not list a CRM, contracts, invoices or client programs with habits and check-ins. It is also not advertised for teams.
Is Stan Store worth paying for after the trial?
It is worth it if you mainly sell products and calls to a social audience, and less so if you deliver ongoing programs to clients. Here is how that plays out by coach type.
- Creators who coach on the side. Probably yes. Digital products plus occasional paid calls is exactly what the $29 plan handles, and your extra tools list stays short.
- New coaches with no audience yet. It depends on your first offer. If it is a 1:1 package, you need agreements and client notes from day one. See our page for new coaches.
- Life and mindset coaches running 1:1 packages. Often no. These coaches tend to need agreements, session notes and between-session check-ins, none of which Stan lists. See Coachful for life coaches and our list of Stan Store alternatives for life coaches.
- Fitness and nutrition coaches. Usually no for delivery, since Stan lists no workout logging or check-ins, though it can sell a static plan. See the Fitness & Nutrition pack.
- Health coaches. Be careful with any tool here. Coaching is not treatment: refer clients with medical concerns to a licensed clinician and keep clinical records in a clinical system. Coachful is not HIPAA-certified, and Stan's plan lists do not include client records at all.
- Coaches building a team. Probably not, because no team seats are advertised. See Coachful for teams.
How does the Stan Store trial compare with other trials?
Stan's 14 days is a normal length, but other tools are clearer about the card or offer a free plan instead. For coaches, the better question is what you would be testing, so the last column shows how each one handles client delivery.

| Tool | Trial and card terms | Entry price | Platform fee on sales | Client delivery |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful | A free trial, plus a white-glove build at no extra cost | Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients | 0%, processing only | Programs, habits, check-ins, contracts and client records in one login |
| Stan Store | 14 days; card not stated explicitly; first month charged at the end | $29/month | 0%, processing only | Storefront, booking, courses; no client programs or check-ins listed |
| Kajabi | 14 days; card optional, with a hold and a charge at trial end if entered | $179/month | Kajabi Payments rate, or an added 2% on Basic with most other providers | Courses and communities; no habits or daily check-ins |
| Podia | 14 days; no card, no plan selection | $49/month | 5% on Mover, 0% above | Courses, sessions, community; no habits or check-ins |
| Systeme.io | No timed trial; free plan that never expires, no card | $0, then $17/month | 0%, processing only | Funnels, email, courses; no habits or check-ins |
| WithMe | 14 days; card required | $29/month on the pricing page; its help center says $49/month for new trials | 0%, Stripe fees only | Courses, memberships, message-based coaching with goals; no habits or check-ins listed |
| Beacons | No paid-plan trial described; free plan | $0, then $10/month | 9% on Free and Creator, 0% on Creator Plus and above | Link-in-bio store and email; no client records or check-ins shown |
Vendor terms are as listed in October 2026 and can change. WithMe's monthly price is disputed between its own pages, as the table notes, so confirm it at sign-up. For head-to-head detail, see Stan Store vs Kajabi, Podia vs Stan Store, Stan Store vs Systeme.io, WithMe vs Stan Store and Stan Store vs Beacons. The wider field is in our Stan Store alternatives ranking and our list of coaching software with a free trial.
Systeme.io and Beacons skip the timed trial and offer a free plan instead, while WithMe takes a card up front.

Why would a coach trial Coachful instead?
Because the 14 days should test the work after the sale, and that is what Coachful is built for. Coachful is a coaching platform where one subscription covers booking, payments, contracts, program delivery with habits and check-ins, courses, a community, a website with funnels and email, and an AI assistant. There is one login for you and one branded app for your clients.
It is built for coaches who deliver programs and not only sessions, for solo coaches growing into a small team, and for coaches replacing 4 to 6 tools. Coachful holds 4.5 on Trustpilot from 21 reviews, a much smaller sample than Stan's.

Here is how it covers the items that sit beside Stan Store in the table above:
- Contracts. Coaching agreements with e-signature go out before the first call and stay on the client record.
- Client records. Goals, check-ins, habits, notes, intake answers, payments and sessions sit together, with a status of thriving, active, quiet or at risk.
- Programs. Multi-week programs have weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, and morning and evening check-ins.
- Payments. Your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account handles one-time payments, subscriptions, payment plans, order bumps and coupons, with an invoice per transaction and a 0% Coachful platform fee.
- Selling from your bio. Link-in-bio pages sell directly, and Instagram automations can send a booking link or lead magnet by DM when someone comments a keyword. The person lands in your lead and client records.
- Email and funnels. Email lists, broadcasts, multi-step sequences and booking, application, lead-magnet and checkout funnels with pixels are all included in your Coachful membership.
- AI help. Michelle, the built-in assistant, works from your live practice data to build programs, draft emails and brief you before sessions. Questions and planning are included in the membership, and confirmed builds and changes use AI credits.

This short walkthrough shows how a program is put together, which is the part a storefront trial will not show you.

What it does not do. Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and is not for clinical record-keeping or insurance billing. It has no PayPal and no permanent free plan. The client app ships under the Coachful listing with your branding, not on your own App Store account. It is not a course marketplace or a general website builder for non-coaching sites. Lower plans also cap clients, where Stan's plans do not cap customers.
Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. From Create, you can describe what you want built, whether that is a website, a funnel, a sales page, a program or an email sequence, and attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files. The Coachful team builds it inside your own account, usually within about 24 hours. Nothing gets invented, so there are no fake credentials, testimonials or prices, and any gaps are left for you to fill. It does not cover recording videos, logo design, ad management or ongoing marketing. One leadership coach with a Squarespace renewal days away got one clean homepage with a repeated "talk with me" button, and a business mentor for beauty professionals got a 12-week mentorship sales page, a start-up-guide funnel and rewritten follow-up emails. Read more about the white-glove service.

How to start. Begin a free trial, request a build so your site or first program is ready to test, and move a real client through it. If you are coming from another tool, your clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding. Current plans: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients.
How can you save money on Stan Store?
The biggest saving is annual billing, which cuts $48 a year on Creator and $240 a year on Creator Pro. The right time to commit is after the trial has shown the product fits, not during it.
- Start with the cheaper plan unless you need Pro today. Creator costs $70 less a month on monthly billing, or $54 less on annual billing. That is $648 a year between the two annual plans.
- Do the break-even math before upgrading. As an example, a $20 order bump needs four takers a month, before processing, to cover the $70 monthly gap. If you can't see that happening, wait.
- Pay monthly for the first few months if you are unsure. Annual billing is $25 or $79 a month, but it commits you for a year and our sources do not state a refund term.
- Keep your exit cheap. Export your customer list regularly so that switching stays an option. Keep original copies of your course videos and files, since course content has to be rebuilt elsewhere.
- Count the tools beside it. Saving $48 a year means little if a separate contract and client tool costs more each month. Add them up when you compare, as in the three-size table above.
Stan Store free trial FAQ
Does Stan Store have a free trial?
Yes. Stan Store offers a 14-day free trial on either Creator or Creator Pro, as listed in October 2026. Your first month is charged when the trial ends, according to Stan's help center.
Do I need a credit card for the Stan Store free trial?
Stan does not state this explicitly in its pricing article or plan comparison. Since the first month is charged when the trial ends, expect to give a payment method. Check the sign-up page on the day you register, because screens can change.
How much will I pay when the trial ends?
$29 for the first month on Creator or $99 on Creator Pro. Annual billing works out to $25 or $79 a month, billed as $300 or $948 a year. Confirm which plan is active before day 14.
Does Stan Store have a free plan?
No. Stan's help center answers this with "Not at the moment." It adds that affiliate-only accounts are sometimes mistaken for a free store, but those accounts do not include Stan Store features.
Can I sell during the Stan Store free trial?
Yes. Stan's help center says you can start earning as soon as you sign up and connect Stripe or PayPal. Stan takes 0% of those sales, while standard processing fees still apply.
Can I import my email list during the trial?
Only in part. On a Creator Pro trial you can import up to 10 contacts, and contact import is a Creator Pro feature in the first place. Your full list has to wait until you are a paying customer.
Can I get a refund if I forget to cancel?
The pages we read do not state a refund term, so do not count on one. Set a reminder for day 12 and make your decision before the charge. If you have already been charged, contact Stan's support directly and ask.
Is Stan Store enough for a coaching business?
It can be if you mainly sell digital products and paid calls. Stan's materials do not list contracts, invoices, client records or programs with habits and check-ins, so ongoing client work needs other tools. Our Paperbell vs Stan Store comparison shows the difference from a client-management angle.
What is the free white-glove service from Coachful?
It is a build service on every plan. You describe a website, funnel, program, email sequence or similar, attach your references, and the Coachful team builds it inside your account, usually within about 24 hours. It does not include videos, logo design, ad management or ongoing marketing.
Which should I trial first, Stan Store or Coachful?
Choose by what you sell. Trial Stan Store if your business is digital products and occasional calls sold from social media. Trial Coachful if you deliver programs and want contracts, check-ins, client records and selling in one login.
