Top 7 Beacons Alternatives in 2026
The best beacons alternatives depend on one question: are you selling products to an audience, or walking clients through a coaching relationship that lasts for months? Beacons is built for the first job. It gives creators a link in bio, a storefront, a media kit and email, and it does that for a low entry price. Once you have 15 clients on weekly calls, the gaps show up in your calendar, your inbox and the spreadsheet you keep on the side.
Our pick for coaches is Coachful, because it keeps the link-in-bio selling and adds what happens after the sale: booking, agreements, programs, check-ins and a client app. We make Coachful, so weigh that as you read. The rest of this guide is built so you can reach a different answer if your practice calls for one, and for several kinds of coach it should.
Vendor prices and limits below are as listed in October 2026. We have not tested these tools hands-on for this guide; what follows is what each vendor documents and what public reviewers report. Answer the five questions first, because they decide most of this.
What should you answer before you compare tools?
Five answers about your practice will rule out most of this list. Write them down before you read a pricing page, since a pricing page is designed to make you forget them.
- Do clients come back, or buy once? A guide or a template sells once. A 12-week program means weekly sessions, tasks and follow-up. The more repeat contact you have, the less a storefront covers.
- Where does each client's history live today? If notes, payments, session dates and the signed agreement sit in four places, you are paying for that with admin hours. Decide whether one client record matters to you.
- Does Instagram send you most of your buyers? If a comment needs to trigger a DM with a link, that automation is a requirement, and you should only shortlist tools that list it.
- How do your buyers pay, and how much do you sell in a month? Percentage fees punish growth, so run them against your own sales figure. Also check whether your buyers really need PayPal or buy-now-pay-later, since that removes some options, including our own.
- How many tools would this replace, and who will set it up? Count your current subscriptions and the hours you would spend moving them. A cheap tool that needs three more tools around it is rarely the cheap option.
Which tool do your answers point to?
Use this table to turn the checklist into a shortlist of one or two.
How we ranked: one login for the whole client journey, between-session delivery, total stack cost, and setup effort, which is why Coachful, with its free white-glove build, comes first.
| Pick | Your answers point here when | What you accept |
|---|---|---|
| Coachful | Clients come back, you want one client record, Instagram feeds your bookings, and you want to drop 4 to 6 tools | No PayPal, no permanent free plan, app under the Coachful listing with your branding |
| Stan Store | You sell products and paid calls from a phone, with no ongoing delivery | No client records, contracts or invoices; email needs the higher plan |
| Systeme.io | Budget decides this, and funnels and email matter more than client delivery | You add your own booking and client tracking |
| WithMe | You want comment-to-DM plus simple coaching by message on one plan | Very few public reviews; one-coach setup |
| Podia | You want a simple shop for courses and downloads with some sessions | Small email allowances; 5% fee on the entry plan |
| Kajabi | Courses and community are the business, and you can carry the price | Highest entry price here; no per-client plans |
| Kartra | You want a marketing suite with calendars and a helpdesk | Contact caps and a 5% fee at entry; no client programs |
| Stay on Beacons | Brand deals and affiliate income matter more than client work, and you use the media kit | Coaching admin stays in other tools |
Where does Beacons stop working for coaches?
Beacons stops at the sale. Its pricing page does not show scheduling with client records, contracts, habits or check-ins, so everything after checkout has to happen elsewhere. That is a fair design for a creator tool, and a problem only if coaching is your main income. Our Beacons review covers the product in full, and Beacons pricing breaks down each plan.
The fee structure is the second trigger. Beacons takes a 9% seller fee on Free and Creator, and removes it from Creator Plus upward. Courses and memberships also start at Creator Plus, so most coaches selling programs land on the $30 plan regardless. The maths is simple: Creator Plus costs $20 a month more than Creator, and 9% of about $222 is $20, so past roughly $222 a month in sales, the higher plan is cheaper.
| Plan | Monthly price | Seller fee | Key limits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful | Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients | 0% platform fee; only Stripe or Razorpay processing | Lower plans cap clients; Pro is unlimited |
| Beacons Free | $0 | 9% | 30 daily AI credits, 50 email sends a month, 1 website with 1 page |
| Beacons Creator | $10 ($8.33 billed annually) | 9% | 300 daily AI credits, 500 email sends a month, 5 websites of 3 pages |
| Beacons Creator Plus | $30 ($25 billed annually) | 0% | Unlimited AI credits and email sends, 10 websites of 5 pages, courses and memberships |
| Beacons Creator Max | $100 ($83.33 billed annually) | 0% | 15 websites of 10 pages, Google Workspace, white-glove onboarding, priority support |

Public sentiment is the third signal, and it deserves caution. Beacons held a Trustpilot score of 2 from 43 reviews when we checked in October 2026, which is a small sample. Read recent reviews yourself and look for complaints that match your own use. Beacons also did not document a data export on the pages we checked, so ask support before you commit more of your list to it.
1. Coachful: which alternative runs the whole client journey?

Coachful is a coaching platform where one subscription covers booking, payments, contracts, program delivery with habits and check-ins, courses, a community, a website with funnels and email, and an AI assistant. The coach has one login, and the client has one branded app. It suits coaches who deliver programs as well as sessions, solo coaches growing into a small team, and anyone replacing 4 to 6 tools. The company is based in Tallinn, Estonia, and held a Trustpilot score of 4.5 from 21 reviews in October 2026.
What replaces your Beacons setup on day one
The front of the funnel carries over. Coachful has a link-in-bio page that sells, a section-based website builder with a blog, a custom domain and SEO settings, and booking, application, lead-magnet and checkout funnels with pixels and UTM tracking. See the website builder for the 30 designed homepage templates and the Import website option.
Instagram carries over too. Connect a professional account and an automation can fire on a DM, a comment on a post (optionally only when it contains chosen keywords), a story reply, a mention, or a new follower where Meta supports it. The action can send a DM, reply publicly to the comment, send a DM with buttons or quick replies, or send an AI-written reply at 1 AI credit per reply. A follower comments a keyword, gets the booking link in a DM, and lands in the same lead and client records you use for everything else.

Selling runs through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account, with one-time payments, subscriptions, payment plans, order bumps, coupons, refunds, Apple Pay and Google Pay. Coachful has charged a 0% platform fee since August 2026, so you pay only processing. Plans are flat and monthly, and they cancel in one click (current plans: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients).

What starts after the sale
Booking pages handle availability rules, buffers, minimum notice and time-zone detection, with two-way Google, Apple/iCloud and Outlook sync. Sessions run on built-in video or auto-created Zoom, Meet or Teams links. Reminders go out by email, plus SMS at 24 hours and WhatsApp at 1 hour once messaging is enabled. Scheduling also supports paid sessions, session credits and intake questions at booking. A coaching agreement with e-signature goes out before the first call and stays on the client record.

Between calls, multi-week programs carry weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins, goals with progress bars, and streaks. Each client record holds goals, check-ins, habits, notes, intake answers, tags, payments and sessions, with an AI briefing per client and a status of thriving, active, quiet or at risk. Coachful shows you who has gone quiet, which a storefront has no way of knowing. Group work sits in the same place: cohort groups are created automatically on program enrollment, with group calls, webinars and a community feed. The group coaching page covers that setup.

Here is a walkthrough of that client journey, from a coach's view:
Michelle, the built-in AI assistant, works from your live practice data. It builds programs, drafts emails and content, summarizes recorded sessions and briefs you before sessions. Questions and planning are included in your Coachful membership, and confirmed builds and changes use AI credits.
Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. From Create, under "We'll build it for you · FREE", you describe what you want: a website, funnel, sales page, program, course outline, email sequence, link in bio or something else. You can attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files such as logos, brand guides and copy. The Coachful team builds it inside your own account, usually within about 24 hours, on every plan. Nothing gets invented, so there are no fake credentials, testimonials or prices, and gaps are left for you to fill. A somatic coach leaving Kajabi had a homepage and About page rebuilt and the contact form connected, and a leadership coach with a Squarespace renewal days away got one clean homepage with a repeated "talk with me" button. It does not include recording videos, logo design, ad management or ongoing marketing. Read more about the white-glove service.

What Coachful does not do
- No PayPal and no permanent free plan. Media kits and brand-deal tools are not part of what we offer, so a creator living on sponsorships should look elsewhere.
- The client app ships under the Coachful listing with your branding, not under your own App Store account.
- Not HIPAA-certified and no BAA, so it is not for clinical records or insurance billing.
- Instagram automation does not include a follow-gate or email capture inside the DM, and there is no TikTok or Pinterest publishing.
- No third-party plugins, no Salesforce or HubSpot integration, and no course marketplace.
To start, take a free trial, then send your first white-glove request so the site or funnel exists before you move your link. More on fit is at Coachful for new coaches and established coaches.
2. Stan Store: is it the closest like-for-like swap?
Yes, if you like the Beacons format and want a simpler bill. Stan Store is a link-in-bio storefront for digital products, courses, memberships and paid calls, and it takes no seller fee on any plan. Its Trustpilot score was 4.7 from 2,205 reviews in October 2026, far stronger than Beacons' public score.

Where the entry plan runs out
Creator costs $29 a month ($25 billed annually) and covers unlimited products and customers in one store. Creator Pro costs $99 a month ($79 billed annually), and that is where email marketing, upsells, discount codes and affiliates live. A coach who wants to email a list therefore pays $99, a gap worth noticing against Beacons Creator Plus at $30 with unlimited sends. A 14-day trial is available, and the first month is charged when it ends. Stripe or PayPal processing applies on top.
On the coaching side, Stan Store has paid calls and stops there. It has no contracts, invoices or client records, it is not a CRM, and it offers no programs with client tasks, habits or check-ins. No team seats are advertised either. For 5 clients on a light call rhythm, that can be tolerable. By 15 clients, you are likely running a second system for delivery.
We compare it directly in Stan Store vs Beacons, and Stan Store alternatives shows where coaches go next.
Pick it over Coachful if you sell products and occasional paid calls, want PayPal at checkout, and have no client program to deliver between calls.
3. Systeme.io: what can you get for almost nothing?
A surprising amount of marketing. Systeme.io is a low-cost suite for funnels, email, courses, community, a blog and an affiliate program, with 0% transaction fees even on its free plan. Reviewers rate it highly: Trustpilot showed 4.9 from 8,696 reviews in October 2026.

The plans as listed:
- Free, $0: 2,000 contacts, 3 funnels, 1 course, 500 students, 1 blog, 1 affiliate program, 1 custom domain, 1 automation rule and 1 email campaign. It never expires, and no card is needed.
- Startup, $17 a month: 5,000 contacts, 10 funnels, 5 courses.
- Webinar, $47 a month: 10,000 contacts, 50 funnels, 20 courses.
- Unlimited, $97 a month: unlimited contacts, funnels, courses and automation rules.
Against Beacons, the free plan is the striking part: 2,000 contacts versus 50 email sends a month, with no 9% fee. The weak spots are on the coaching side. An older vendor profile shows no native 1:1 scheduling with client records, habits or check-ins, and no branded mobile app, and course and community features are described as basic. So the low bill comes with work: you add a booking tool, an agreement tool and a way to track each client. Add those costs before comparing totals, and see Calendly alternatives for coaches if booking is the piece you need. Our Beacons vs Systeme.io comparison goes deeper on the marketing side.
Pick it over Coachful if your budget is close to zero today, you are still building a list, and client delivery can wait or live in a separate tool.
4. WithMe: can a creator hub handle light coaching?
To a point, and it is the most Beacons-like option on this list that names coaching products outright. WithMe, from FitWith LTD, sells courses, memberships, communities, digital products and email, and includes Instagram comment-to-DM.

Two coaching products that do different jobs
Coaching Call products book sessions through Google Calendar and Meet or Zoom, with clients paying before they choose a time. 1:1 Coaching products run ongoing coaching through messages, goals and resources, with no call booking. A program that combines weekly calls and between-call goals therefore needs both products side by side, so test that flow during the trial.
A price worth confirming
There is one plan, and its monthly figure is disputed between WithMe's own pages. The pricing page shows $29 a month, while the help center says $49 a month for new trials since August 11, 2026. Annual billing is $300 a year, about $25 a month. Check the figure at signup. The 14-day trial requires a card. WithMe takes 0% commission, leaving Stripe fees only, and PayPal works through Stripe.
The limits are mostly about scale and proof. Clients use the WithMe-branded iOS and Android app, and a custom-branded app is a paid extra. Extra people get admin logins, but there is no per-seat pricing or multi-coach tooling. Public evidence is thin as well, with a Trustpilot score of 3.8 from just 2 reviews when checked in October 2026, which tells you very little either way.
Pick it over Coachful if you coach mostly by message, sell products alongside it, and do not need agreements, check-ins or habit tracking.
5. Podia: does a simple shop still fit coaches?
It fits coaches whose income leans toward courses and downloads, with sessions on the side. Podia is a simple storefront for courses, downloads, webinars, coaching sessions and community. Trustpilot showed 4.1 from 153 reviews in October 2026.

Compared with Beacons, the main upgrade is a more complete product catalogue with community spaces and video. The main catch is email. Each plan includes a small allowance of email subscribers, so a growing list pushes the real cost up:
- Mover at $49 a month ($42 billed annually): 50 products, 500 videos, 25 community spaces, 100 email subscribers, and a 5% Podia fee.
- Shaker at $99 a month ($84 billed annually): 150 products, 1,000 videos, 100 spaces, 500 subscribers, 1 assistant, and no Podia fee.
- Earthquaker at $179 a month ($150 billed annually): unlimited products, videos, spaces and assistants, 1,000 subscribers, and no Podia fee.
Mover's fee sets the upgrade point: Shaker costs $50 more, and 5% of $1,000 is $50, so above $1,000 a month in sales Shaker wins. Stripe or PayPal processing, at a standard 2.9% + 30¢, sits on top of either plan.
For coaching itself, Podia has no client habits, check-ins or per-client plans. An older profile also shows no mobile app and no native video calls, so sessions rely on another video tool and clients work from the browser. A 14-day trial with full access and no card makes it cheap to find out whether that bothers you.
Pick it over Coachful if you mainly sell courses and downloads, and a small community with occasional sessions is as far as your delivery goes.
6. Kajabi: when is the jump in price justified?
When courses, community and marketing are the business and you have the revenue to carry them. Kajabi is a course, community, website, funnel and email platform for selling knowledge products. Going from Beacons to Kajabi is the biggest jump in entry price on this list.

Basic costs $179 a month ($143 billed annually) with 5 products, 2,500 contacts, 1 community, 1 website, 2 admin users and 0 AI credits. Growth costs $249 ($199 annually) with 50 products, 25,000 contacts, 11 admins and 500 AI credits. Pro costs $499 ($399 annually) with unlimited products, 100,000 contacts, 3 communities, 3 websites, 26 admins and 1,000 AI credits.
Check the fine print on payments. Kajabi Payments in the US runs 2.9% + $0.30 on Basic, 2.8% + $0.30 on Growth and 2.7% + $0.30 on Pro. Other providers, excluding PayPal, carry an extra Kajabi fee of 2%, 1% or 0.5% by plan on top of their own. The standard trial is 14 days and a card is optional, but some features, including bulk contact import, test emails and some automations, stay locked until you activate a paid plan. That makes a full migration rehearsal hard during the trial.
Coaching on Kajabi takes the form of products and communities rather than per-client plans, and it has no habit tracking or daily client check-ins. Trustpilot showed 3.4 from 2,347 reviews in October 2026. For the coach view, see Kajabi alternatives for life coaches.
Pick it over Coachful if your revenue comes from a course catalogue and a large contact list, and individual client delivery is a small part of what you do.
7. Kartra: who needs a full marketing suite?
Marketers first, coaches second. Kartra bundles pages, funnels, email and SMS, memberships, calendars and a helpdesk. Unlike most tools here, it includes calendars and support tooling in one account, though it is built around marketing and has no client habits, check-ins or per-client coaching plans.

Moving up the ladder changes a lot, so the entry plan misleads. Essentials at $59 a month ($52 billed annually) allows 500 contacts, 5 pages, 1 product, 1 membership or course, 10,000 emails a month and 30 AI uses, with a 5% transaction fee. Starter at $119 a month ($99 annually) opens up 2,500 contacts, unlimited pages, products, memberships, email and SMS, 100 AI uses and 5 team members, with no fee. Growth costs $229 ($189 annually) with 12,500 contacts, and Professional costs $549 ($429 annually) with 25,000. Processor fees are separate on every plan, and the pricing page does not state a transaction fee for Professional.
Most coaches comparing it with Beacons would land on Starter, since one product is too few for anyone with a catalogue. A 14-day trial and a 30-day money-back guarantee reduce the risk of trying it. Two things to weigh: an older profile shows no mobile app for students or admins, and funnels and memberships are not portable to other platforms, which raises the cost of leaving later. Trustpilot showed 3.2 from 129 reviews in October 2026.
Pick it over Coachful if you run high-volume funnels with SMS, you want a helpdesk in the same account, and your clients do not need an app.
Which features actually differ across these tools?
Six features separate these tools for a coach. "Not listed" means the vendor's pages we checked did not show the feature, which is different from a confirmed no, so ask before you rely on it.
| Tool | Courses and products | 1:1 booking | Per-client plans, habits, check-ins | Contracts | Instagram auto-DM | No platform fee on entry plan |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes |
| Beacons | Partial (courses from Creator Plus) | Not listed | Not listed | Not listed | Yes | No (9%) |
| Stan Store | Yes | Partial (paid calls) | No | No | Not listed | Yes |
| Systeme.io | Yes | No | No | Not listed | Not listed | Yes |
| WithMe | Yes | Partial (via Google Calendar or Zoom) | Partial (goals and resources) | Not listed | Yes | Yes |
| Podia | Yes | Partial (sells sessions) | No | Not listed | Not listed | No (5%) |
| Kajabi | Yes | Not listed | No | Not listed | Not listed | Partial (extra fee off Kajabi Payments) |
| Kartra | Yes | Partial (calendars) | No | Not listed | Not listed | No (5%) |
What does each option cost at 5, 15 and 40 clients?
Most of these tools do not price by client, so their monthly figure stays flat while the real cost moves elsewhere: seller fees, email caps and the extra tools you need around them. Figures are monthly list prices from October 2026, before payment processing.
| Tool | 5 clients | 15 clients | 40 clients | What gets added on top |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful | Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients | Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients | Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients | Stripe or Razorpay processing; AI credits for confirmed builds |
| Beacons (Creator Plus) | $30 | $30 | $30 | Booking, contract and client-delivery tools. Lower plans take 9% |
| Stan Store | $29 | $29 | $29 | $99 once you need email; booking admin, contract and delivery tools |
| Systeme.io | $0 to $17 | $0 to $17 | $0 to $17 | Booking, contract and client-tracking tools. Free allows 1 automation rule and 1 email campaign |
| WithMe | $29 or $49 (pages disagree) | $29 or $49 | $29 or $49 | Contract tool; custom-branded app is extra |
| Podia (Mover) | $49 | $49 | $49 | 5% fee; video and contract tools; plan rises with list size |
| Kajabi (Basic) | $179 | $179 | $179 | Contract tool; extra fee on other payment providers |
| Kartra (Starter) | $119 | $119 | $119 | Contract tool and client-program tracking |
Percentage fees change the order fast. As an example, take $2,000 in monthly sales, which is an illustration and not a suggested income or rate. Beacons Creator would charge $10 plus $180 in seller fees, or $190 before processing, while Creator Plus stays at $30. Podia Mover would be $49 plus $100, or $149, so Shaker at $99 would win. Kartra Essentials would be $59 plus $100, or $159, so the fee-free Starter plan at $119 would win.
To compare your own stack, list every subscription you would still keep after switching, then add your monthly sales multiplied by the fee. A tool looks cheap only after that step. Our coaching software overview and comparison hub can help you fill in the rest.
What red flags and switching costs should you check?
Most switching pain comes from a few predictable places, and each one can be checked before you pay.
- Export before you commit. Beacons did not document a data export on the pages we checked, so ask what you can take with you and download your contacts and sales records before you cancel anything. Coachful offers a full client data export as a ZIP, covering roster, notes, check-ins, goals, habits, sessions and form responses, plus course export. Older profiles describe Kartra's funnels and memberships as not portable.
- Keep email permissions intact. Move unsubscribes along with subscribers. US commercial email rules require you to honor opt-outs, as the FTC's CAN-SPAM guide explains, and if you have EU contacts, the General Data Protection Regulation also applies to how you handle their data. Rules vary by country, so check with an attorney if your list is large or international.
- Recurring payments may not move themselves. Until a vendor confirms otherwise in writing, assume that active subscribers will need to re-enter payment details on the new platform. Warn them first, and keep the old account open until the last renewal has moved.
- Seller-fee thresholds. A 9% or 5% fee looks harmless at launch. Work out your break-even figure in advance, as above, and upgrade before you pass it.
- Locked trials. Kajabi's trial keeps bulk contact import and some automations locked until you activate a paid plan. Ask any vendor which features are unavailable during a trial before you plan a test migration around it.
- Cheap entry with tight caps. Kartra's 1 product, Podia's 100 subscribers and Systeme.io's 1 automation rule on Free are all limits you can hit in your first month. Plan on the tier you will need in six months.
- Tax and invoices. Moving platforms can change who issues receipts and how sales tax is calculated. Coachful supports Stripe Tax and an invoice per transaction, but your obligations depend on where you and your clients are, so check with an accountant.
How would you actually move from Beacons to Coachful?
Here is a worked setup for an example coach with 15 clients and one group program, selling calls and a PDF guide through a Beacons link in bio. The order matters, because your link should change last.
- Send the build request. Open Create and choose "We'll build it for you · FREE". Attach your Beacons page link, your logo and any brand guide, and ask for a link-in-bio page plus a booking funnel. Any gaps, such as a missing bio or missing testimonials, are left for you.
- Connect payments. Link your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account. Apple Pay and Google Pay are supported at checkout.
- Set up the offer. Start from one of more than 40 ready-to-film program templates. For the group program, add weekly goals, daily tasks, a habit or two, and morning and evening check-ins. Michelle can build the program with you, using AI credits when you confirm the build.
- Open the calendar. Set availability rules, buffers and minimum notice, connect Google, Apple or Outlook, and add intake questions to the session type.
- Attach the agreement. Add your coaching agreement for e-signature before the first call. Have a local lawyer review the wording, since requirements vary by state and country.
- Wire up Instagram. Connect your professional account under Connections, then create an automation in Manage: a comment containing your chosen keyword sends a DM with the booking link.
- Move your people. Clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding. Enrolling group members creates the cohort group automatically.
- Swap the link. Only now change the URL in your Instagram bio, and leave Beacons running until any open sales or renewals have settled.

Funnels are the part most coaches want to see first, so here is the walkthrough:
For the client, the experience runs in a straight line. They comment on a post and get a DM with a link. They book a time, answer your intake questions and sign the agreement before the first call. After paying, they arrive in an app with your branding, where their next session, program, goals and check-ins are in one place. You see their activity on their client record, and if they go quiet, their status shows it.

What is the verdict on Beacons alternatives?
If you run an ongoing coaching practice, choose Coachful. It is the only option here that lists all of it: it keeps link-in-bio selling and Instagram DMs while also covering booking, agreements, programs, check-ins and a client app under one login, and the white-glove build removes most of the setup work.
If you only sell products and an occasional call, choose Stan Store for its simplicity or Systeme.io for its price. WithMe suits message-based coaching alongside products. Podia and Kajabi make sense when courses carry your income, at very different price points, and Kartra fits marketers who want a funnel suite with SMS. And if sponsorships and affiliate income are what pay your bills, staying on Beacons may well be right, ideally on a plan with no seller fee.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best alternative to Beacons for coaches?
For a coach with ongoing clients, we recommend Coachful, since it pairs a selling link-in-bio page with booking, agreements, programs and a client app. We make Coachful, so compare it against your own five answers above. If you sell only digital products, Stan Store is the closer swap.
Is there a free alternative to Beacons?
Yes. Systeme.io has a plan that never expires, with 2,000 contacts, 3 funnels, 1 course and no transaction fee. Expect to add your own booking and client-tracking tools. Ruzuku also lists a plan with no cost for up to 5 enrolled students at a time, though it is a course platform rather than a storefront.
What does Beacons' 9% seller fee cost in practice?
It applies on the Free and Creator plans and comes before processing fees. On $2,000 in monthly sales, used here as an example, that is $180. Creator Plus removes the fee at $30 a month, and it beats Creator once monthly sales pass roughly $222.
Does Coachful replace a link in bio tool?
Yes. It includes a link-in-bio page that sells, along with funnels, checkout and Instagram automations that send a link when someone comments a chosen keyword. Replies and leads land in the same records as your clients. It does not offer a follow-gate or email capture inside the DM.
What is Coachful's free white-glove service?
The Coachful team builds what you describe inside your own account, such as a website, funnel, program, email sequence or link in bio, usually within about 24 hours, on every plan. You can attach up to 8 reference links and 10 files. It does not cover recording videos, logo design, ad management or ongoing marketing. Details are in our white-glove service guide.
Can I keep PayPal if I leave Beacons?
That depends on the tool. Stan Store, Systeme.io and Podia list Stripe and PayPal, and WithMe supports PayPal through Stripe. Coachful does not support PayPal; it uses your own Stripe or Razorpay account with Apple Pay and Google Pay.
Which Beacons alternative has the best Instagram automation?
Among the tools here, Coachful and WithMe list comment-to-DM. Beacons includes auto-DM on every plan, starting with its $0 tier. Beyond comments, our own automations cover DMs, story replies, mentions and new followers where Meta supports them, and connects the lead to your client records. Features change quickly, so check the current documentation for any trigger you depend on.
Do I lose my subscribers if I switch from Beacons?
Not if you export and move them with their opt-out status. Beacons did not document an export on the pages we checked, so confirm with its support first. Assume recurring payers will need to re-enter card details until a vendor confirms otherwise. Coachful imports clients, programs and content for you during onboarding.
Is Coachful right for health or clinical practitioners?
It suits health and wellness coaching, where coaching is not treatment and medical issues are referred to a clinician. Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and offers no BAA, so clinical records and insurance billing belong in a clinical system. See Coachful for health coaches for what it covers.
