LearnWorlds vs Mighty Networks: Which Fits Coaches in 2026?

In the learnworlds vs mighty networks decision, the short version is this: LearnWorlds is a course platform (an LMS with a website builder, funnels, quizzes, certificates and interactive video), while Mighty Networks is a community platform with courses and events attached. Pick LearnWorlds if structured self-paced learning is your main product. Pick Mighty Networks if a paid member community is your main product. If your business is mostly 1:1 and group coaching with programs, check-ins and calls, neither was built for that job, and a coaching platform fits better.
This guide compares both platforms head to head for coaches: what each one documents, what each one costs as listed in October 2026, where each one falls short, and what your clients actually experience. Then we cover the third option. We make Coachful, so we will say plainly when it beats both and when it does not.
What is the short answer by use case?
The right pick depends on what you sell. Courses favour LearnWorlds, communities favour Mighty Networks, and coaching programs with sessions favour a coaching platform.
- You sell self-paced courses, certifications or training to many learners: LearnWorlds. It offers SCORM packages, certificates, learning paths, interactive video and quizzes, which Mighty Networks does not lead with.
- You sell membership in a community, with courses and live events as part of it: Mighty Networks. Community is the core of the product, member apps for iOS and Android are included on every plan, and livestreaming is built in.
- You coach clients 1:1 or in small groups, with sessions, agreements, payments and between-session work: Coachful. Neither LearnWorlds nor Mighty Networks has per-client habits, check-ins or private coaching plans, and Mighty Networks has no 1:1 scheduling, invoicing or contracts.
- You run a corporate training academy with compliance needs: LearnWorlds, specifically its Learning Center or Corporate plans (LTI 1.3, unlimited SCORM, SLA and DPA on Corporate).
- You want your own branded mobile app: it costs extra on both. LearnWorlds sells a branded app as a separately priced add-on; Mighty Networks reserves your own branded apps for custom-priced Mighty Pro.
If you already know you are a coach first and a course seller second, you may want to skip to the third option section. If not, the comparison below shows where each tool earns its place.
How do LearnWorlds and Mighty Networks compare side by side?
Ranking criteria for coaches: one login for the whole client journey, between-session delivery, total stack cost, and setup effort.
| Platform | Built for | 1:1 booking | Client habits and check-ins | Community | Platform fee on sales | Entry price |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful | Coaches delivering programs, sessions, courses and community in one place | Yes, with calendar sync, buffers, reminders and paid sessions | Yes: habits, morning and evening check-ins, goals, streaks | Yes: feed, group chat, DMs, cohort groups, video events | 0% (Stripe or Razorpay processing only) | Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients |
| LearnWorlds | Course creators, academies and training businesses | Live 1:1 and group sessions listed on plans | No (not built for 1:1 client management, habits or check-ins) | Not a headline feature on the plans checked | $5 per paid enrollment on Starter; none on Pro Trainer and above | $29/month ($24 billed annually) |
| Mighty Networks | Paid communities with courses and events | No native 1:1 scheduling | No per-client habits, check-ins or private plans | Yes, the core of the product | 2% Launch, 1% Scale, 0.5% Growth and Mighty Pro | $95/month ($79 billed annually) |
Vendor details here are as listed in October 2026. Both vendors add payment processing on top of their own fees: LearnWorlds lists Stripe and PayPal gateway fees of 2.9% plus $0.30, and Mighty Networks charges Stripe processing on top of its platform fee.

What does each platform cost in 2026?
LearnWorlds starts lower ($29 a month, or $24 billed annually) but charges $5 per paid enrollment on that plan. Mighty Networks starts at $95 a month ($79 billed annually) and takes a percentage of every sale on every plan.
| Plan | Monthly billing | Annual billing (per month) | Key limits | Fee on your sales |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful (flat plans; lower plans cap clients, Pro is unlimited) | From Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients | Unlimited clients: Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients | Client cap on lower plans; team plans add coach seats | 0% platform fee |
| LearnWorlds Starter | $29 | $24 | 1 admin, 1,000 active learners a month, 300 AI credits | $5 per paid enrollment |
| LearnWorlds Pro Trainer | $99 | $79 | 5 admins, 2,000 active learners a month, 20 SCORM packages, 15 page funnels, 2,000 mass emails a month | None |
| LearnWorlds Learning Center | $299 | $249 | 25 admins, 2,000 active learners a month, 5,000 mass emails a month, up to 10 client groups | None |
| LearnWorlds Corporate | Custom | Custom | Custom; SLA, DPA, success manager | None |
| Mighty Networks Launch | $95 | $79 | 3 hosts, 10 moderators, 200 GB, 20 h livestream a month (100 attendees) | 2% |
| Mighty Networks Scale | $215 | $179 | 5 hosts, 15 moderators, 500 GB, 30 h livestream (200 attendees) | 1% |
| Mighty Networks Growth | Not published | $354 | 10 hosts, 100 moderators, 1 TB, 40 h livestream (1,000 attendees) | 0.5% |
| Mighty Pro | Custom | Custom | Unlimited hosts and moderators, your own branded apps | 0.5% |
A few pricing details matter more than the headline numbers:
- Mighty Networks' pricing cards show the annual figure. The cards read $79, $179 and $354 "per month" without a billing qualifier. Mighty's help docs confirm those are annual-billing prices, and give $95 and $215 for monthly billing on Launch and Scale. Growth has no published monthly price.
- LearnWorlds prices exclude VAT, which is added for EU customers without a VAT number. The page shows "$" without naming the currency, and the capture below shows euro prices for a European visitor.
- LearnWorlds caps active learners per month (1,000 on Starter, 2,000 on Pro Trainer and Learning Center). Mighty Networks caps hosts, moderators, storage and livestream hours instead.
- Trials differ. LearnWorlds lists a 30-day free trial with core features and says no card is needed; an un-upgraded school is scheduled for deletion. Mighty Networks lists 14 days, no card, with Growth plan features included.
- Neither has a free plan.

What a coach actually pays: an illustrative example
Take an example coach who sells $3,000 a month of programs and courses through the platform (an illustrative figure, not a benchmark). On Mighty Networks Launch billed monthly, the platform fee adds about $60 a month on top of $95, so roughly $155 before Stripe processing. On LearnWorlds Starter, the $5 enrollment fee depends on volume: 20 paid enrollments add $100, which is why most coaches selling regularly would look at Pro Trainer at $99 a month with no enrollment fee.
Neither figure is your full stack. With Mighty Networks you would still need a scheduling tool, an e-signature tool for coaching agreements and an invoicing tool for 1:1 clients. With LearnWorlds you would likely add e-signature and a way to track client habits and check-ins between sessions. Those subscriptions are where the real comparison lives. For a deeper look at one side, see our Mighty Networks pricing breakdown.
How do the course features compare?
LearnWorlds is the stronger course tool by a wide margin. Mighty Networks has courses, but they sit inside a community, not inside a learning management system.
LearnWorlds documents an AI course builder and AI quiz generation from Starter upward, plus unlimited courses, learning paths, certificates, bundles and interactive video from Pro Trainer. It supports SCORM packages (20 on Pro Trainer, unlimited on Learning Center) and LTI 1.3 on Learning Center, which matters if you sell to organisations whose own learning management systems need to import your content. Scheduled reports and full white-label arrive on Learning Center.
Mighty Networks includes courses on every plan, alongside events and community. Its strength is that a course lesson can live next to discussion, so members talk about the material where they learn it. It does not advertise SCORM, certificates or learning paths in the plan details we checked.
For a coach, the practical question is how much course machinery you need. A certificate program or a corporate training catalogue needs LearnWorlds. A coaching program with a few modules, a workbook and weekly calls needs far less, and the course builder inside a coaching platform will usually cover it. Our course platform for coaches page shows what that looks like.

How do the community features compare?
Mighty Networks wins on community. It is the product's centre, and its plans scale around hosts, moderators and livestream capacity.
Mighty Networks lists community, courses, events, AI Cohost and People Magic (its member-matching features), basic automations, a custom domain and free Mighty iOS and Android apps on Launch. Scale adds more automations, APIs and MCP access, Kit, Zapier and affiliate integrations, plus member export and tags. Growth adds advanced and AI automations, priority support, migration services, and optional SSO and white-label email. Livestreaming runs from 20 hours a month for 100 attendees on Launch up to 40 hours for 1,000 attendees on Growth, with extra viewers available as an add-on.
LearnWorlds's plan list in October 2026 centres on courses, websites, funnels, email and affiliates rather than community. If discussion between members is central to your offer, test LearnWorlds's community tools during the trial before you commit, because its pricing page does not lead with them.
For coaches, community features matter most in group programs and cohorts. If that is your model, read our comparison of coaching communities and the group coaching software page.

Can either platform handle 1:1 coaching?
Only partly. LearnWorlds lists live 1:1 and group sessions on its plans, but it is not built for client management, habits or check-ins. Mighty Networks has no 1:1 scheduling, invoicing or contracts.
Here is the coaching workflow most 1:1 coaches run, and where each platform stands:
| Coaching task | Coachful | LearnWorlds | Mighty Networks |
|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful: full coaching workflow | Included in your Coachful membership | Partial | Partial |
| Booking page with availability rules and calendar sync | Yes: buffers, minimum notice, time zones, Google, Apple and Outlook two-way sync | Live sessions listed; booking depth not documented on pages checked | No native 1:1 scheduling |
| Coaching agreement with e-signature | Yes, sent before the first call and stored on the client record | Not documented | No contracts |
| Invoices for 1:1 clients | Invoice per transaction plus manual invoices | Not documented on pages checked | No invoicing |
| Private client record with notes, goals and intake answers | Yes, with an AI briefing per client | No | No per-client private plans |
| Habits and daily check-ins between sessions | Yes: habits, morning and evening check-ins, streaks | No | No |
| Payment processors | Your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay | Your own Stripe or PayPal | Stripe |
| ICF coaching log export | Yes, with paid and pro bono hours | Not listed | Not listed |
If you are working toward an ICF credential, hour logs are part of the paperwork. Coachful counts coaching hours and distinct clients against ACC, PCC and MCC thresholds (see ICF hour tracking). Neither LearnWorlds nor Mighty Networks lists anything similar.

How do websites, funnels, email and integrations compare?
LearnWorlds goes further on marketing tools: a website builder, page funnels, mass email and affiliates are part of its plans. Mighty Networks gives you a custom domain, with integrations doing more of the marketing work.
- Websites: LearnWorlds includes a website builder for your school and courses on your own domain. Mighty Networks includes a custom domain for your network.
- Funnels: LearnWorlds lists 15 page funnels on Pro Trainer and unlimited on Learning Center. Mighty Networks does not lead with funnels.
- Email: LearnWorlds lists mass email allowances (2,000 a month on Pro Trainer, 5,000 on Learning Center) with extra emails as an add-on. Mighty Networks connects to Kit and Zapier from Scale; Growth offers optional white-label email.
- Affiliates: LearnWorlds has basic affiliates on Pro Trainer and advanced affiliates on Learning Center. Mighty Networks lists affiliate integrations from Scale.
- Integrations and APIs: LearnWorlds lists 50+ integrations from Pro Trainer. Mighty Networks lists APIs and MCP access from Scale.
- AI: LearnWorlds includes monthly AI credits (300, 500 and 1,000 by plan) for course and quiz building. Mighty Networks includes AI Cohost and People Magic, with AI automations on Growth.
For coaches, the website question is usually simpler than either platform suggests: you need a homepage, a services page, a booking button and a checkout. Our coach website builder page covers what Coachful includes.
What is the client experience like on each?
On Mighty Networks, clients join a community and use the Mighty-branded app. On LearnWorlds, clients enter a course school on your domain, with a branded app available as a paid add-on. In both cases, the client sees content and other members, not a private coaching plan.
That difference matters more than any feature list. A coaching client wants to know three things when they open the app: when is my next call, what am I working on this week, and how am I doing. A course student wants to know which lesson is next. A community member wants to see what others are saying. LearnWorlds answers the student's question well. Mighty Networks answers the member's question well. Neither is set up to answer the coaching client's questions, because neither has per-client goals, habits or check-ins.
Branding is the other piece. Mighty Networks' free apps on Launch, Scale and Growth carry Mighty's branding; your own branded iOS and Android apps come with Mighty Pro at a custom price. LearnWorlds's branded mobile app is an add-on with a price not shown on the pricing page. Coachful's client app is your branding inside the Coachful app, under Coachful's listing rather than your own App Store account.
On public reviews, as listed in October 2026, LearnWorlds has a Trustpilot score of 4.8 from 423 reviews and Mighty Networks has 3.3 from 219. Coachful has 4.5 from 21. Review counts that small move quickly, so read the recent reviews rather than the score alone.

What about data export and leaving later?
Check this before you build. Mighty Networks' plan docs list member export (with member tags) on Launch and Scale; an older profile we keep notes that posts and community content are not bulk-exportable. LearnWorlds's data export was not documented on the pages we checked, so ask during the trial.
Coachful exports your full client data as a ZIP (roster, notes, check-ins, goals, habits, sessions and form responses) and exports courses. If you are already on Mighty Networks and thinking about moving, our guide to migrating from Mighty Networks walks through keeping members during the switch.
Which should you pick for which kind of coach?
Match the platform to the product you sell most. The table gives a starting point; the notes below cover the edge cases.
| Your business | Best fit | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Coachful: 1:1 and group coaching with programs, sessions and between-session work | Coachful | Booking, agreements, payments, habits, check-ins, courses and community under one login |
| Self-paced courses, certificates, corporate training | LearnWorlds | SCORM, LTI 1.3, certificates, learning paths, interactive video |
| Paid membership community with events | Mighty Networks | Community-first design, livestreaming, included member apps |
| Large cohort with a community and occasional group calls | Mighty Networks or Coachful | Mighty for scale of community; Coachful if each member also gets a program and check-ins |
| Course plus a few 1:1 clients | Coachful or LearnWorlds | LearnWorlds if courses drive most revenue; Coachful if the 1:1 work does |
- Life, mindset and confidence coaches running 1:1 programs: neither LearnWorlds nor Mighty Networks gives you private client plans. See Coachful for life coaches.
- Health and wellness coaches: you need habits and check-ins more than SCORM. Coaching is not medical treatment; refer clients to a doctor or licensed clinician for diagnosis, medication or symptoms that need care. Coachful is not HIPAA-certified, so clinical records belong in a clinical system.
- Fitness coaches: neither vendor has workout logging or nutrition targets. Coachful's Fitness & Nutrition pack does, though you attach your own demo videos.
- Corporate trainers and course academies: LearnWorlds is the honest pick. Its compliance and LMS features are things Coachful does not offer.
- Community builders with hundreds of members: Mighty Networks is purpose-built for this. If you want to compare it with other community tools, see Circle vs Mighty Networks and Mighty Networks vs Kajabi.
Is there a third option that beats both for coaches?
Yes, if your business is coaching rather than courses or community alone. Coachful is a coaching platform that puts booking, payments, agreements, programs with habits and check-ins, courses, community, a website and email under one login, with one branded app for your clients.

What Coachful is. One subscription covers booking, payments, contracts, program delivery with habits and check-ins, courses, a community, a website with funnels and email, and an AI assistant. It is built for coaches who deliver programs, not just sessions; for solo coaches growing into a small team; and for coaches replacing four to six separate tools. The company is based in Tallinn, Estonia.
Where it beats both LearnWorlds and Mighty Networks:
- The 1:1 work is native. Booking pages with availability rules, buffers and time-zone detection; two-way calendar sync; built-in video or auto-created Zoom, Meet or Teams links; email reminders plus SMS and WhatsApp once messaging is enabled; paid sessions and session credits. See scheduling software.
- Agreements before the first call. Coaching agreements with e-signature are stored on the client record (coaching contracts).
- Between-session delivery. Multi-week programs with weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins, goals with progress bars and streaks.
- A client record that tells you who needs you. Goals, check-ins, habits, notes, intake answers, tags, payments and sessions, with a status of thriving, active, quiet or at risk and an AI briefing per client.
- No platform fee on sales. Since August 2026 Coachful takes 0%; you pay only Stripe or Razorpay processing. Mighty Networks takes 0.5% to 2%, and LearnWorlds Starter charges per enrollment.
- Courses and community without a second tool. Courses with modules, drip and completion tracking; a community feed, group chat, DMs and video events; cohort groups created automatically when someone enrolls in a program.
- Michelle, the built-in AI assistant, builds programs, drafts emails, summarizes recorded sessions and briefs you before calls, using your live practice data. Questions and planning are included in the membership; confirmed builds and changes use AI credits.

Here is a short walkthrough of how programs are built and delivered in Coachful:
Where Coachful does not beat them:
- Against LearnWorlds: Coachful has no SCORM, LTI or corporate LMS features, and it is not a course marketplace. If you sell certification courses to organisations, LearnWorlds is the better tool.
- Against Mighty Networks: Mighty is built for very large communities with heavy livestreaming, and its Mighty Pro plan gives you an app under your own App Store account. Coachful's client app ships under the Coachful listing with your branding.
- Payments: LearnWorlds supports PayPal; Coachful does not.
- Other gaps: no permanent free plan, no HIPAA certification, no third-party plugins, no Salesforce or HubSpot integration, and affiliate payouts are recorded manually rather than sent by Coachful.
What it costs. Coachful uses flat monthly plans. Lower plans cap the number of clients, Pro is unlimited, team plans add coach seats, and monthly plans cancel in one click. Current plans: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients. A free trial is available.

Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. On every plan, you can ask the Coachful team to build things for you inside your own account: a website, a funnel, a sales page, a program, a course outline and written material, an email sequence, a form, a link-in-bio page or an automation. You describe what you want from Create, attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files (logos, photos, brand guides, copy), and the team usually builds it within about 24 hours. Nothing gets invented: no fake credentials, testimonials or prices, and gaps are left for you to fill. It does not cover recording videos, logo design, ad management or ongoing marketing.
Recent builds give a sense of scope. A somatic coach leaving Kajabi had the homepage and About page rebuilt and the contact form connected. A real-estate and money coach got a year-long cohort program with an application form, an eight-page site and a free nine-day bootcamp funnel. A menopause and midlife health coach starting from nothing got a five-page site in sage and cream with every button leading to a free 20-minute consultation. Read more about the free white-glove service.

How to start. Start the free trial, then request a white-glove build of your site, first program or funnel. During onboarding, your clients, programs and content are imported for you, so a move from Mighty Networks or LearnWorlds does not mean rebuilding by hand. If you are coming from Mighty Networks specifically, the Mighty Networks alternative page covers the differences in more detail.
What do coaches most often get wrong when choosing between them?
The most common mistake is choosing by the content format instead of by the client relationship. Here are the patterns to avoid.
- Buying an LMS for a coaching program. A 12-week coaching program with weekly calls is not a course. If you put it on LearnWorlds, the course part works, but the calls, agreements, check-ins and client notes end up in other tools.
- Buying a community for 1:1 clients. A community feed is public to members. Private coaching work (goals, reflections, session notes) needs a private space per client, which Mighty Networks does not offer.
- Comparing headline prices only. Mighty Networks' cards show annual prices; the monthly-billed figure is higher. Add the platform fee on your sales and the tools you still need for scheduling and contracts.
- Ignoring the learner cap. LearnWorlds counts active learners per month on self-serve plans. A free lead-magnet course can push you toward the cap faster than paid enrollments.
- Not testing the client's view. Both trials are long enough to invite a few real clients. Watch what they open first and what they ask you about.

If you want a wider view of the market before deciding, our roundups of LearnWorlds alternatives and Mighty Networks alternatives compare more tools against the same coaching criteria, and the Mighty Networks review goes deeper on that platform alone.
Frequently asked questions
Is LearnWorlds or Mighty Networks better for coaches?
It depends on what you sell. LearnWorlds is better for coaches whose main product is self-paced courses or certifications. Mighty Networks is better for coaches whose main product is a paid community. For coaches whose main product is 1:1 or group coaching with sessions and between-session work, a coaching platform such as Coachful fits better than either.
Which is cheaper, LearnWorlds or Mighty Networks?
LearnWorlds's entry plan is cheaper at $29 a month ($24 billed annually) as listed in October 2026, but it charges $5 per paid enrollment. Mighty Networks starts at $95 a month ($79 billed annually) and takes a 2% platform fee on Launch. For regular sellers, LearnWorlds Pro Trainer at $99 a month with no enrollment fee is the closer comparison.
Does Mighty Networks take a cut of my sales?
Yes. As listed in October 2026, Mighty Networks charges a platform fee of 2% on Launch, 1% on Scale and 0.5% on Growth and Mighty Pro, plus Stripe processing. LearnWorlds charges no platform fee from Pro Trainer upward.
Can I book 1:1 coaching sessions in LearnWorlds or Mighty Networks?
LearnWorlds lists live 1:1 and group sessions on its plans, but it is not built for client management, habits or check-ins. Mighty Networks has no native 1:1 scheduling, invoicing or contracts, so coaches typically add a separate booking tool.
Do LearnWorlds and Mighty Networks have mobile apps?
Mighty Networks includes free Mighty-branded iOS and Android apps on its self-serve plans; your own branded apps come only with custom-priced Mighty Pro. LearnWorlds offers a branded mobile app as a separately priced add-on. Coachful clients use your branding inside the Coachful app.
Do they offer free trials?
Yes. LearnWorlds lists a 30-day free trial with core features and says no card is required. Mighty Networks lists a 14-day trial with no card that includes Growth plan features. Neither has a permanent free plan.
Can I use PayPal?
LearnWorlds supports your own Stripe and PayPal accounts. Mighty Networks uses Stripe. Coachful uses your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account and does not support PayPal.
What is Coachful's free white-glove service?
On every plan, the Coachful team builds things for you inside your own account: a website, funnel, sales page, program, course outline, email sequence, form or automation. You send a request with up to 8 links and 10 files, and builds usually arrive within about 24 hours. It does not include video recording, logo design, ad management or ongoing marketing.
Can I move from Mighty Networks or LearnWorlds to Coachful?
Yes. During onboarding, your clients, programs and content are imported for you. Export what each vendor allows first: Mighty Networks lists member export on Launch and Scale, and LearnWorlds's export options were not documented on the pages we checked, so confirm them with LearnWorlds.
Is Coachful a replacement for an LMS like LearnWorlds?
For coaching programs and simple courses, yes: Coachful includes courses with modules, drip and completion tracking. For SCORM, LTI or corporate compliance training, no. LearnWorlds remains the better choice for that kind of academy.
