Top 10 LearnWorlds Alternatives: Ranked and Reviewed

The best LearnWorlds alternatives depend on one question: are you selling a course, or coaching people through a change? LearnWorlds is a capable course academy, with SCORM support, interactive video, certificates and a website builder, billed around admins and monthly active learners. If most of your revenue comes from self-paced courses, you may only need a cheaper or simpler course platform. If your real work happens in 1:1 sessions, group programs and the days between calls, you need software that holds the client, not just the learner.
For that second group, our pick is Coachful. We make Coachful, so weigh that, but the reasoning is laid out below: one login covers booking, payments, contracts, programs with habits and check-ins, courses, community, a website with funnels and email, and the client gets one branded app. The other nine platforms are ranked on how well they replace LearnWorlds for a coaching business, with prices as listed in October 2026 and a plain "Pick it over Coachful if..." for each. For the LearnWorlds side in detail, see our LearnWorlds pricing breakdown and LearnWorlds review.
What do coaches leaving LearnWorlds actually need?
Most coaches who outgrow LearnWorlds need a client workflow, not more course features. A learning management system is designed around content, enrollments and completion, while a coaching practice runs on people moving through a sequence of conversations and commitments.
Map a typical coaching client from first click to renewal and the gaps show quickly:
- Discovery and booking. A booking page with availability rules, buffers and time-zone detection, synced to the calendar you already use, with a video link created automatically.
- Agreement and payment. A coaching agreement signed before the first call, then a one-time fee, subscription or payment plan through your own payment account.
- Intake and onboarding. Intake questions answered at booking and stored on the client record, not in a separate form tool.
- Between-session work. Weekly goals, daily tasks, habits and check-ins the client actually completes, and a way for you to see who is slipping.
- Group work. A cohort space, group calls and a community feed for programs that run with several clients at once.
- Content. Courses, worksheets and recordings that support the coaching, released on a schedule.
- Marketing. A website, a lead magnet funnel and an email sequence that turns readers into discovery calls.
LearnWorlds covers the content and marketing rows well. Its own positioning, and the notes we gathered from its pricing page on 25 October 2026, point to the same limits for coaches: it is not built for 1:1 client management, habits or check-ins; the self-serve plans cap active learners per month (1,000 on Starter, 2,000 on Pro Trainer and Learning Center); Starter charges a fee per paid enrollment; and a branded mobile app is a separately priced add-on. LearnWorlds is also well liked by its customers, with a Trustpilot score of 4.8 from 423 reviews as seen on 25 October 2026, so leaving it is usually about fit rather than quality.
One scope note before the list. Coaching is not therapy or medical treatment. If a client describes symptoms of a mental health condition, an eating disorder or a medical issue, refer them to a licensed professional, and state that boundary in your coaching agreement. None of the platforms below should be treated as a clinical records system, and Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and does not sign a BAA.

How did we choose and rank these 10 tools?
We picked course, community and marketing platforms that overlap with LearnWorlds, then scored each one against a single example business. The example: a coach with 15 private clients on a three-month package, one group program of about 12 people that runs each quarter, and one self-paced course currently hosted on LearnWorlds. These numbers are illustrative, not data from a real customer.
For that coach, we asked four questions of every platform:
- Can the client book, sign, pay, do their weekly work and join the group without leaving one login?
- Does it deliver anything between sessions, such as habits, check-ins or tasks, or only content?
- What does the full stack cost once you add the booking, contract and email tools it lacks?
- How much work is the move, and does anyone help with it?
Prices and limits come from each vendor's pricing page as listed in October 2026. Where a fact comes from an older vendor profile we say so. We have not run paid accounts on every platform; we report what vendors document and what public reviewers say, including Trustpilot scores as seen on 25 October 2026. Dedicated coaching practice tools such as Paperbell or CoachAccountable sit outside this list because they rarely get compared with a course academy; we cover them in our Paperbell alternatives and CoachAccountable alternatives guides, and the comparison hub collects the rest.
1. Coachful: the whole client journey in one login

Coachful is a coaching platform where one subscription covers booking, payments, contracts, program delivery with habits and check-ins, courses, a community, a website with funnels and email, and an AI assistant. The coach has one login; the client has one app carrying the coach's branding. It is built for coaches who deliver programs rather than single sessions, for solo coaches growing into a small team, and for anyone replacing four to six tools. The company is based in Tallinn, Estonia, and holds a Trustpilot score of 4.5 from 21 reviews.
The core difference from LearnWorlds is the unit of work. LearnWorlds organizes a learner around a course; Coachful organizes a client around a program, a calendar and a record that keeps their goals, check-ins, habits, notes, intake answers, tags, payments and sessions together. Courses are one part of that, not the whole thing.
How does Coachful handle courses compared with LearnWorlds?
Courses in Coachful have modules, lessons, drip release and completion tracking, and there are 48 course templates with quizzes to start from. Alongside courses you can deliver downloads, videos, books, AI tools, events and bundles, all inside the client's branded home and app. A course export is available. If your academy depends on SCORM packages, LTI or interactive video, those are LearnWorlds strengths that Coachful does not list, and that is a real reason to keep it. Our page on the online course platform for coaches covers the course side in more depth.

What happens between sessions?
This is where coaches feel the gap after an LMS. Coachful programs run for as many weeks as you set, with weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins, goals with progress bars and streaks. Each client record shows a status of thriving, active, quiet or at risk, so you can see who needs a message before the next call rather than after a missed one.

Group programs get their own space automatically. When a client enrolls in a program, Coachful creates the cohort group, and you can add the community feed, group chat, direct messages, video events, group calls and webinars on top. See group coaching software for how cohorts are set up.

This short walkthrough shows a program being built and what the client sees week by week:
Booking, payments and contracts
Booking pages support availability rules, buffers, minimum notice and time-zone detection, with two-way Google, Apple/iCloud and Outlook calendar sync. Sessions use built-in video or auto-created Zoom, Meet or Teams links, with email reminders plus SMS (24 hours before) and WhatsApp (1 hour before) once messaging is enabled. You can sell paid sessions and session credits, ask intake questions at booking, and assign multi-coach session types by round-robin or least-busy. More on the scheduling software page.
Payments run through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account: one-time charges, subscriptions, payment plans, order bumps, coupons, refunds, Apple Pay and Google Pay, and Stripe Tax, with an invoice per transaction plus manual invoices. Since August 2026 Coachful takes a 0% platform fee, so you pay only Stripe or Razorpay processing. Coaching agreements with e-signature go out before the first call and are stored on the client record.
Website, funnels, email and Michelle
The section-based website builder includes a blog, custom domain, SEO settings, 30 designed homepage templates and an Import website option. Funnels cover booking, application, lead magnet and checkout, with pixels and UTM tracking, and there is a link-in-bio page that sells. Email lists, broadcasts and multi-step sequences support triggers, delays, branching and A/B splits.
Michelle, the built-in AI assistant, works from your live practice data. She builds programs, drafts emails and content, summarizes recorded sessions, briefs you before each session, and can give optional private feedback on your own coaching against ICF Core Competencies 3 to 8. Questions and planning are included in your Coachful membership; confirmed builds and changes use AI credits. Coaches working toward a credential can use ICF hour tracking, which counts coaching hours and distinct clients against ACC, PCC and MCC thresholds and exports an ICF client coaching log.
Coachful in brief
- What it is: one platform for booking, payments, contracts, programs with habits and check-ins, courses, community, website, funnels, email and an AI assistant.
- Who it is for: coaches who deliver programs, solo coaches growing into a small team (Studio and Agency plans add coach seats), and anyone tired of paying for four to six separate tools.
- What it does not do: it is not HIPAA-certified and not for clinical records or insurance billing; there is no PayPal and no permanent free plan; the client app ships under the Coachful listing with your branding, not under your own App Store account; there is no Garmin, Fitbit, Whoop or Oura sync; it is not a course marketplace and has no third-party plugins; the affiliate program tracks links, clicks, conversions and revenue, but payouts are recorded manually.
- How to start: begin with a free trial and request the free white-glove build so your site, program or funnel is ready when you are.
Plans are flat and monthly. Lower plans cap the number of clients, Pro is unlimited, team plans add seats, and monthly plans cancel in one click (current plans: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients).
Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. From Create, then "We'll build it for you", you describe what you want built: a website, funnel, sales page, program, course outline and written material, coaching flow, form, email sequence, link in bio, lead quiz, webinar or automation. You can attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files such as logos, photos, brand guides and copy. The Coachful team builds it inside your own account, usually within about 24 hours, and invents nothing: no fake credentials, testimonials or prices, and gaps are left for you to fill. A somatic coach leaving Kajabi had the homepage and About page rebuilt and the contact form connected; a business mentor for beauty professionals got a 12-week mentorship sales page, a start-up guide funnel and rewritten follow-up emails. It does not include recording videos, logo design, ad management or ongoing marketing. Read more about the white-glove service.

2. Kajabi: the broadest knowledge-business suite

Kajabi bundles courses, a community, a website, funnels and email in one subscription. Its strength is marketing: products, pages and email live together, and the higher plans scale to very large contact lists.
As listed in October 2026, Basic costs $179 a month ($143 billed annually) for 5 products, 2,500 contacts, 1 community, 1 website, 2 admin users and no AI credits. Growth is $249 ($199 annually) for 50 products, 25,000 contacts, 11 admins and 500 AI credits. Pro is $499 ($399 annually) for unlimited products, 100,000 contacts, 3 communities, 3 websites and 26 admins. Kajabi Payments in the US charges 2.9% + $0.30 on Basic, falling to 2.7% + $0.30 on Pro; other processors (excluding PayPal) add a Kajabi fee of 2%, 1% or 0.5% by plan.
The trial is 14 days according to Kajabi's help center. A card is optional, but if you enter one Kajabi places an authorization hold and charges when the trial ends, and some features such as bulk contact import, test emails and some automations stay locked until you pay.
The limit for coaches is the same one LearnWorlds has: coaching in Kajabi is a product or a community, not a per-client plan, and there is no habit tracking or daily check-in. Trustpilot shows 3.4 from 2,347 reviews. Our Kajabi alternatives guide goes further.
Pick it over Coachful if your business is mostly courses and a large email audience, you sell to thousands of contacts rather than tracking a few dozen clients, and you are happy to run sessions and accountability in other tools.
3. Thinkific: closest to LearnWorlds on courses

If you like LearnWorlds' learning features but want a different price structure, Thinkific is the nearest match. It is a dedicated course platform with communities, memberships and coaching or webinar products, and the Start plan allows 10,000 current students, well above LearnWorlds' monthly active-learner caps.
Pricing as listed in October 2026 follows an increase of about 10% on 13 August 2026. Start is $109 a month ($82 annually) with 2 admins, 1 community with 10 spaces, 5 live community events, 200 GB a month of video bandwidth and a maximum group size of 50. Grow is $219 ($164 annually) with 6 admins and 3 communities. Expand is $499 ($374 annually) with 15 admins and unlimited group size. Plus is custom. Every self-serve plan has a 30-day trial.
Thinkific charges no transaction fee when you use Thinkific Payments, at a rate it describes as in line with other processors at 2.9%. Connecting your own Stripe or PayPal adds a per-plan gateway fee whose amounts are not listed on the page.
For coaches, two costs stand out. There is no built-in 1:1 scheduling, so coaching relies on external booking links (from an older vendor profile), and the branded mobile app is a $199 a month add-on. There are no client habits, daily check-ins or per-client plans. Public sentiment is weak: Trustpilot shows 1.8 from 868 reviews. More in our Thinkific alternatives roundup.
Pick it over Coachful if you are a course business first, you need thousands of students and deep course tooling, and coaching is a small add-on you are content to book elsewhere.
4. Teachable: the simplest course storefront

Teachable keeps things simple: courses, digital products and student mobile apps, with student counts listed as unlimited. If LearnWorlds feels like more learning design than you use, Teachable strips it back.
As listed in October 2026, Starter is $39 a month ($29 annually) for 5 products and 1 admin, and it takes a 7.5% transaction fee. Builder is $89 ($69 annually) for 10 products with no platform fee. Growth is $189 ($139 annually) for 50 products and 5 admins. Teachable Payments processing is 2.9% + 30¢ for US cards and 3.9% + 30¢ for international cards, with a $15 chargeback fee. The plan cards show a 7-day free trial plus a 30-day guarantee, and a pop-up offers a 30-day trial on Builder monthly.
There is no native scheduling or calendar sync, so coaching calls rely on tools such as Calendly and Zoom (older vendor profile), and nothing for client habits, check-ins or per-client plans. The product caps also matter: a coach with a course, two packages, a workbook and a group program has already used Starter's five. Trustpilot lists 3.3 from 1,110 reviews. See our Teachable alternatives for more.
Pick it over Coachful if you only sell a handful of self-paced courses, you want the lowest effort storefront for them, and you already have a booking tool you like.
5. Podia: a storefront that sells sessions too

Podia sits between a course platform and a store. One dashboard sells courses, downloads, webinars, coaching sessions and a community, which makes it friendlier to coaches than a pure LMS. Trustpilot shows 4.1 from 153 reviews.
Plans as listed in October 2026: Mover is $49 a month ($42 annually) for 50 products, 500 videos, 25 community spaces and 100 email subscribers, with a 5% Podia fee. Shaker is $99 ($84 annually) for 150 products, 1,000 videos, 100 spaces, 500 email subscribers and 1 assistant, with no Podia fee. Earthquaker is $179 ($150 annually) for unlimited products, videos, spaces and assistants and 1,000 email subscribers. Stripe or PayPal processing applies on top. The 14-day trial has full access and needs no card.
The email allowances are the trap. A coach who grows a newsletter through a lead magnet will pass 500 subscribers quickly. Podia also has no mobile app and no native video calls (older vendor profile), and no client habits, check-ins or per-client plans.
Pick it over Coachful if you want a small, tidy shop for a few digital products and occasional paid calls, and you do not plan to run structured programs with daily accountability.
6. Systeme.io: low cost marketing with a free plan

Systeme.io is the budget pick on this list and the only one here with a free plan that never expires. It covers funnels, email, courses, a community, a blog and an affiliate program, and charges 0% transaction fees on every plan, so you pay only Stripe or PayPal processing.
As listed in October 2026, the Free plan includes 2,000 contacts, 3 funnels, 1 course, 500 students, 1 blog, 1 custom domain, 1 automation rule and 1 email campaign. Startup is $17 a month for 5,000 contacts, 10 funnels and 5 courses. Webinar is $47 for 10,000 contacts, 50 funnels and 20 courses, and Unlimited is $97 with unlimited contacts, funnels, courses and automation rules. No card is needed to sign up. Trustpilot shows 4.9 from 8,696 reviews, one of the strongest scores in this roundup.
The trade-off is depth. There is no native 1:1 scheduling with client records, habits or check-ins, community and course features are basic, and there is no branded mobile app (all from an older vendor profile). You would pair it with a separate booking tool and a spreadsheet for client progress, which is the patchwork stack this list is meant to replace.
Pick it over Coachful if cash is the deciding factor, you mostly need funnels and email to sell a course, and you can live with booking and client tracking happening elsewhere.
7. Kartra: marketing automation with calendars

Kartra is an all-in-one marketing suite: pages, funnels, email and SMS, memberships, calendars and a helpdesk. Compared with LearnWorlds it trades course sophistication for marketing reach, and its calendars give it a booking feature most course tools lack.
Plans as listed in October 2026: Essentials is $59 a month ($52 annually) for 500 contacts, 5 pages, 1 product, 1 membership or course, 10,000 emails a month, 1 domain and 30 AI uses, with a 5% transaction fee. Starter is $119 ($99 annually) for 2,500 contacts, unlimited pages, products and memberships, unlimited email and SMS, and 5 team members, with no transaction fee. Growth is $229 ($189 annually) for 12,500 contacts and 10 team members; Professional is $549 ($429 annually) for 25,000 contacts. There is a 14-day trial and a 30-day money-back guarantee.
Limits for coaches: no client habits, check-ins or per-client coaching plans, no mobile app for students or admins, and funnels and memberships are not portable to other platforms (the last two from an older vendor profile). Trustpilot shows 3.2 from 129 reviews. Essentials is too tight for most coaches, so Starter is the realistic entry point.
Pick it over Coachful if your growth depends on heavy SMS and email campaigns, a helpdesk and many sales pages, and client delivery is simple enough to run inside memberships.
8. Mighty Networks: community first

For programs that depend on group energy, Mighty Networks combines a community, courses, events and livestreaming, with members using Mighty-branded apps. Trustpilot shows 3.3 from 219 reviews.
As listed in October 2026, Launch is $95 a month ($79 annually) with 3 hosts, 10 moderators, 200 GB of storage and 20 hours of livestreaming a month for up to 100 attendees. Scale is $215 ($179 annually) with 5 hosts, 500 GB and 30 hours for up to 200 attendees. Growth is $354 a month billed annually with 10 hosts, 1 TB and 40 hours for up to 1,000 attendees. Mighty Pro is custom priced and is the only route to your own branded apps. Mighty also takes a platform fee on sales: 2% on Launch, 1% on Scale and 0.5% on Growth and Mighty Pro, plus Stripe processing. The 14-day trial needs no card and includes Growth features.
What it lacks for a practice: no 1:1 scheduling, invoicing or contracts, and no per-client habits, check-ins or private coaching plans. You would still need a booking tool and an agreement tool beside it.
Pick it over Coachful if your offer is a large membership community where livestreams and member-to-member activity matter more than individual client tracking.
9. Circle: a refined paid community

Circle is a community platform with courses, events, live streams and paid memberships. Trustpilot shows 4.1 from 129 reviews. Our Circle alternatives article compares it with other community tools.
The prices listed in October 2026 are annual-billing figures: Professional at $89 a month with 3 admins, 10 moderators and 2,500 AI credits; Business at $199 a month with 5 admins and 15 moderators; and Scale at $419 a month with 10 admins, 100 moderators and 5,000 AI credits. Monthly-billing prices were not captured in our data, so check Circle's page before you compare. Circle Plus is custom priced and is the only plan with branded mobile apps. Circle takes 2% of payments on Professional, 1% on Business and Scale, and 0.5% on Circle Plus, plus Stripe processing. The 14-day trial needs no card.
There is no 1:1 scheduling or client management back office, and nothing for per-client habits, check-ins or coaching plans. For a coach, Circle replaces the community half of LearnWorlds well, but not the practice around it.
Pick it over Coachful if the community is the product, you want a polished member experience above all, and 1:1 work is either absent or handled in a separate system.
10. Skool: gamified groups on a budget

Skool puts a community, a classroom and a calendar inside one group, with leaderboards that reward participation. Unlimited members, courses, videos and live calls come on both plans. Our Skool alternatives guide covers it in depth.
As listed in October 2026, Hobby costs $9 a month ($7.50 annually) and Pro costs $99 ($82.50 annually). The catch is the transaction fees, because payments run only through Skool Payments: Hobby takes 10% + 30¢ on every transaction, and Pro takes 2.9% + 30¢ up to $899 and 3.9% + 30¢ above $900. Fees are non-refundable and payouts arrive weekly on Wednesdays. The pricing page offers a free try but does not state the trial length or card requirement.
Skool has no custom domain website, funnels, email automation or public API, and no 1:1 client records, intake forms, habits or check-ins. Trustpilot shows 1.6 from 54 reviews. Of all the tools here, it replaces the least of LearnWorlds.
Pick it over Coachful if you want the quickest possible paid group with a course attached, your audience already lives on social media, and you do not need a website or email sequences.
How do the features compare?
Coachful is the only platform in this list that covers every row, including between-session delivery. "Yes" means the vendor documents it, "Partial" means it exists with a meaningful limit, "No" means the vendor or an older profile says it is missing, and "Not listed" means we could not confirm it either way.
| Platform | 1:1 booking | Habits and check-ins | Courses | Community | Website and funnels | Email automation | Branded client app |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful | Yes, with calendar sync | Yes | Yes | Yes, with auto cohort groups | Yes | Yes | Yes, your branding in the Coachful app |
| LearnWorlds | Partial (live 1:1 and group sessions) | No | Yes, with SCORM | Not listed | Yes | Partial (automations on Learning Center) | Partial (paid add-on) |
| Kajabi | Not listed | No | Yes | Yes | Yes | Yes | Not listed |
| Thinkific | No (external links) | No | Yes | Yes | Not listed | Not listed | Partial (paid add-on) |
| Teachable | No | No | Yes | Not listed | Not listed | Not listed | Partial (Teachable student apps) |
| Podia | Partial (sells sessions, no native video) | No | Yes | Yes | Partial (storefront) | Partial (small allowances) | No |
| Systeme.io | No | No | Partial (basic) | Partial (basic) | Yes | Yes | No |
| Kartra | Yes (calendars) | No | Yes (memberships) | Not listed | Yes | Yes | No |

| Circle | No | No | Yes | Yes | Not listed | Not listed | Partial (Circle Plus only) |
| Skool | No | No | Yes | Yes | No | No | Not listed |
Two columns decide most moves away from LearnWorlds. Habits and check-ins are the work clients do between calls, and only one platform here handles them natively. Booking is the other: without it, every tool except Coachful and Kartra needs a separate scheduler, which our Calendly alternatives piece prices out.
What do these platforms cost at 5, 15 and 40 clients?
For most tools the price stays flat as you add coaching clients, because they bill by contacts, products or learners; the real cost is the extra tools you bolt on. The table uses monthly billing and the plan a coach would realistically need for recurring payments. Processing fees from Stripe, PayPal or Razorpay apply to all of them.
| Platform | 5 clients | 15 clients | 40 clients | What the price leaves out |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful | Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients | Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients | Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients | Covers booking to renewal; 0% platform fee, processing only |
| LearnWorlds | $99 Pro Trainer | $99 Pro Trainer | $99 Pro Trainer | Subscriptions and payment plans start on Pro Trainer; Starter ($29) charges $5 per paid enrollment; branded app and extra emails are add-ons; no habits or check-ins |
| Kajabi | $179 Basic | $179 Basic | $179 Basic | Habits and check-ins; 2% extra on Basic outside Kajabi Payments or PayPal |
| Thinkific | $109 Start | $109 Start | $109 Start | A booking tool; branded app at $199 a month; habits and check-ins |
| Teachable | $89 Builder | $89 Builder | $89 Builder | A booking tool and calendar sync; Starter ($39) adds a 7.5% fee |
| Podia | $99 Shaker | $99 Shaker | $99 Shaker | Video calls; more than 500 email subscribers needs Earthquaker ($179) |
| Systeme.io | $0 Free | $17 Startup | $17 Startup | A booking tool, client records, habits and check-ins |
| Kartra | $119 Starter | $119 Starter | $119 Starter | Habits and check-ins; Essentials ($59) caps 500 contacts and takes 5% |
| Mighty Networks | $95 Launch | $95 Launch | $95 Launch | 2% platform fee; booking, invoicing and contracts |
| Circle | $89 Professional (annual billing) | $89 Professional (annual billing) | $89 Professional (annual billing) | 2% platform fee; booking and client management |
| Skool | $99 Pro | $99 Pro | $99 Pro | Website, funnels and email; Hobby ($9) takes 10% + 30¢ per sale |
Percentage fees grow with your income, so test them against your own numbers. As an example only: if 15 clients each pay $400 a month, that is $6,000 in monthly sales, and a 2% platform fee adds $120 a month before processing. The same revenue on a 10% fee costs $600. If you are still setting your rates, work out the package price first and then compare platforms against it. For a full cost view of LearnWorlds itself, see the LearnWorlds pricing guide.
How would you set up a LearnWorlds-style coaching business in Coachful?

Here is the example coach from earlier (15 private clients, one quarterly group program, one self-paced course) moving over step by step. Much of it can be handed to the Coachful team.
- Export from LearnWorlds before you cancel. A data export is not documented on the LearnWorlds pages we checked, so ask its support what you can download (user lists, course files, videos) while your school is still active. Unpaid trial schools are scheduled for deletion, so do this early.
- Start a free trial and request your build. From Create, choose "We'll build it for you" and describe your site, your program and your lead magnet funnel. Attach your logo, brand colors and the course outline. Clients, programs and content are also imported for you during onboarding.
- Connect payments. Link your Stripe Connect or Razorpay account. Create the three-month package as a payment plan or subscription, add a coupon for returning clients, and an order bump for your self-paced course at checkout.
- Publish a booking page. Set availability, buffers and minimum notice, sync your Google, Apple or Outlook calendar, and add intake questions such as "What would make the next three months a success?"
- Attach the agreement. Upload or write your coaching agreement, including your scope and referral line, so it is signed by e-signature before the first call.
- Build the program. Start from one of the 40-plus program templates or ask Michelle to draft a 12-week program with weekly goals, daily tasks, habits and morning and evening check-ins. Review every step before it goes live.
- Move the course. Rebuild your LearnWorlds course as modules and lessons with drip release, or start from one of the 48 course templates, then attach it to the program so lessons release alongside the weekly goals.
- Set up the group. Enroll the quarterly cohort in the group version of the program; Coachful creates the cohort group automatically. Schedule the group calls as events.
- Write the follow-up emails. Build a sequence with a trigger on purchase, a delay before the first session, and a branch for clients who have not booked yet.

What the client experiences. A prospect finds your site, downloads the lead magnet and gets your email sequence. They book a discovery call, answer two intake questions and receive a Zoom or built-in video link with reminders. After the call they sign the agreement, pay the first instalment and land in an app carrying your branding. Week one shows three tasks, a habit to track and a morning check-in. The first course module opens the same day, and the cohort group appears in their community tab with the other members. On your side, their record fills up with intake answers, check-ins and payments, and Michelle briefs you before each session. If they go quiet, their status changes before the next call.

What mistakes should you avoid when leaving LearnWorlds?
The common mistakes are about cost and data, not features. Watch for these:
- Comparing sticker prices only. A $9 plan with a 10% fee costs more than a $99 plan once you sell a few packages. Add booking, contract and email tools to every quote before comparing.
- Replacing an LMS with another LMS. If your clients struggle between sessions, a different course tool will not fix it. Check the habits and check-ins column first.
- Ignoring caps you will hit. Product limits (5 on Teachable Starter and Kajabi Basic), email subscriber allowances (100 on Podia Mover) and contact caps (500 on Kartra Essentials) catch growing coaches.
- Forgetting SCORM content. If you sell SCORM packages to corporate clients, confirm the new platform supports them before you move, or keep LearnWorlds for that part.
- Cancelling before exporting. Download your learner list, course files and videos first, and keep a copy of every signed agreement.
- Overbuilding on day one. Move one offer, one program and one funnel, then add the rest once clients are settled.
Which LearnWorlds alternative should you choose?
Choose Coachful if you coach people through programs and want courses, community, booking, payments, contracts and between-session work in one login. It is the only option here with habits, check-ins and a client record built in, it charges no platform fee on sales, and the free white-glove build removes most of the setup work.
Choose Kajabi or Kartra if your business is marketing-heavy and coaching is a small part of it. Choose Thinkific or Teachable if you mostly sell self-paced courses and want a simpler or larger course platform than LearnWorlds. Choose Podia or Systeme.io if budget matters most and you will handle booking elsewhere. Choose Mighty Networks, Circle or Skool if the community itself is the product. And if SCORM, LTI or interactive video are central to what you sell, staying on LearnWorlds may be the right call.
Frequently asked questions
What is the best LearnWorlds alternative for coaches?
For coaches who run 1:1 or group programs, Coachful is our pick because it combines courses and community with booking, payments, contracts, habits and check-ins in one login. For course-first creators, Thinkific and Kajabi are the closest substitutes. The right choice depends on whether courses or client delivery drive your revenue.
Is there a free LearnWorlds alternative?
Systeme.io has a free plan that never expires, with 2,000 contacts, 1 course and 500 students as listed in October 2026. Skool's Hobby plan is not free but is very low cost, with a 10% + 30¢ fee on each sale. Coachful has no permanent free plan but offers a free trial.
Does LearnWorlds charge transaction fees?
On the Starter plan, LearnWorlds charges $5 per paid enrollment. Pro Trainer and higher plans have no LearnWorlds fee, though Stripe or PayPal gateway fees of 2.9% + $0.30 still apply. Prices on its page exclude VAT, which is added for EU customers without a VAT number.
Which alternative is closest to LearnWorlds for courses?
Thinkific is the closest on course depth, with a 10,000-student allowance on its Start plan. Teachable is simpler and Kajabi adds stronger marketing. If you depend on SCORM, LTI 1.3 or interactive video, confirm support with each vendor, since LearnWorlds documents these most clearly of the tools here.
Can I move my LearnWorlds courses and clients to Coachful?
Yes. Clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding, and you can rebuild courses as modules and lessons with drip release. Export what you can from LearnWorlds first, since a data export is not documented on its pricing pages.
What is Coachful's free white-glove service?
It is a build service included on every plan: you describe a website, funnel, program, course outline, email sequence or similar, attach up to 8 links and 10 files, and the Coachful team builds it in your account, usually within about 24 hours. Nothing is invented, so gaps such as testimonials or prices are left for you. It does not cover recording videos, logo design, ads or ongoing marketing.
Is Coachful HIPAA compliant?
No. Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and does not sign a BAA, so it is not suited to clinical record-keeping or insurance billing. It is GDPR-ready and offers a full client data export as a ZIP. Health and wellness coaches should keep their work within coaching scope and refer clinical issues to licensed professionals.
Do clients get a branded mobile app?
In Coachful, clients use the Coachful app with your branding, included in your Coachful membership; it is not published under your own App Store account. LearnWorlds sells a branded app as a separately priced add-on. Thinkific charges extra for one, and Circle and Mighty Networks reserve own-brand apps for custom-priced plans.
How much does Coachful cost?
Coachful uses flat monthly plans where lower tiers cap the number of clients, Pro is unlimited and team plans add coach seats (current plans: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients). Coachful takes a 0% platform fee on sales, so you pay only Stripe or Razorpay processing. Monthly plans cancel in one click.
