LearnWorlds Review 2026: Strengths, Limits and Verdict

This LearnWorlds review comes to a short answer. LearnWorlds is one of the stronger course platforms you can buy in 2026. It has interactive video, SCORM, learning paths, certificates and a funnel builder, and it is well rated. It is built to teach many learners at once, though, not to coach one client at a time. If your business is mainly self-paced courses, it deserves a place on your shortlist. If you sell 1:1 coaching, multi-week programs with habits and check-ins, or a mix of sessions and courses, you will end up adding booking, contracts, client records and accountability tools around it.
Below we cover what LearnWorlds does across marketing, selling, delivery, client experience and admin, what it costs as listed in October 2026, what public reviewers praise and complain about, and which alternatives suit coaches better. We make Coachful, a coaching platform, so we name where it fits and where LearnWorlds is the better choice. Everything about LearnWorlds here comes from its public pricing pages and public reviews, not from hands-on testing.
Is LearnWorlds worth it for coaches? The verdict at a glance
LearnWorlds is worth it for coaches whose income comes mostly from courses, cohorts of learners or corporate training. It is a weaker fit for coaches whose income comes from sessions, packages and ongoing client accountability.
- Who it suits: course-first coaches and trainers who want interactive video, quizzes, certificates, learning paths and SCORM, and who will sell to hundreds of learners rather than a few dozen clients.
- Who should skip it: 1:1 and small-group coaches who need booking pages with calendar sync, coaching agreements, per-client notes, habits and daily check-ins. LearnWorlds' own positioning is a course and learning platform, and none of those coaching tools appear on its pricing page.
- Public rating: 4.8 out of 5 on Trustpilot from 423 reviews, as seen on October 25, 2026. About 5% of those ratings were one-star.
- Price: from $29 a month on Starter, which adds a $5 fee per paid enrollment. Pro Trainer at $99 a month removes the enrollment fee. Annual billing saves 20%.
- Trial: 30 days with core features, and LearnWorlds says no credit card is required. A school that is not upgraded is scheduled for deletion.
If you only read one line: LearnWorlds is a well-built LMS, and coaches who run client relationships rather than course catalogs will find more of their week covered in a coaching platform. For a full write-up of the plans alone, see our LearnWorlds pricing breakdown.
What is LearnWorlds?
LearnWorlds is an online course and learning management platform (LMS) for creators, trainers and businesses that sell or deliver training. You build a "school" on your own domain, fill it with courses, and sell access through its checkout, funnels and website pages.
Its feature list leans toward instructional design. LearnWorlds supports interactive video, AI-assisted course and quiz building, learning paths, certificates and SCORM packages. SCORM is the long-standing standard for packaging e-learning content so it can move between systems, as Wikipedia's overview of SCORM explains. The Learning Center plan adds LTI 1.3, a standard for connecting learning tools to other platforms (described on Wikipedia). These matter if you sell training to companies that run their own LMS. Most independent coaches will never need them.
The pricing tiers point the same way. Plans are sized by admins, monthly active learners, AI credits, SCORM packages and mass emails. Client records, agreements and check-ins do not appear at all, which tells you who the product is designed for.

What can LearnWorlds do across a coaching business?
LearnWorlds covers marketing pages, course sales and course delivery well, and covers coaching-specific delivery and client admin lightly or not at all. Here is how it maps to the jobs a coaching business has to do, based on what its pricing page lists in October 2026.
Marketing: website, funnels and email
Every plan lets you run courses on your own domain with LearnWorlds' site builder. Pro Trainer adds 15 page funnels and 2,000 mass emails a month. Learning Center raises that to unlimited funnels and 5,000 mass emails, and extra emails are sold as an add-on whose price is not shown.
Honest note: email volume is tight for coaches who send a weekly newsletter. A list of 1,000 subscribers getting four emails a month uses 4,000 sends, which already exceeds Pro Trainer's 2,000 (an illustrative example, not a LearnWorlds figure). LearnWorlds' pages do not list multi-step sequences with branching, so check that during the trial if your sales depend on automated nurture.
Selling: checkout, plans and fees
LearnWorlds connects to your own Stripe and PayPal accounts. Starter handles course sales and charges $5 per paid enrollment. Pro Trainer adds subscriptions and memberships, payment plans, bundles and basic affiliates, with no LearnWorlds fee. Learning Center adds advanced affiliates. Stripe and PayPal gateway fees of 2.9% + $0.30 apply on every plan.
Honest note: the Starter enrollment fee matters more than the headline price suggests. At 14 paid enrollments a month, Starter costs the same as Pro Trainer ($29 + 14 x $5 = $99). Past that point, Starter is the more expensive plan. Coaches who sell recurring coaching retainers will want Pro Trainer anyway, because subscriptions start there.
Delivery: courses, live sessions and learning tools
This is where LearnWorlds is strongest. Courses can use interactive video, quizzes, certificates and learning paths, and the AI course builder works from 300 AI credits a month on Starter, 500 on Pro Trainer and 1,000 on Learning Center. The pricing page also lists live 1:1 and group sessions from Starter.
Honest note: the pages we checked describe live sessions but do not document the booking details coaches rely on, such as availability rules, buffers, two-way calendar sync, session credits or intake questions. There is no mention of habits, daily tasks, morning and evening check-ins or per-client goals. A coach running a 12-week program would deliver the content in LearnWorlds and the accountability somewhere else.
Client experience: what your clients see
Learners get a course school on your domain. Learning Center adds full white-label and up to 10 client groups. A branded mobile app is sold separately, and LearnWorlds does not show its price.
Honest note: the experience is a student experience. Clients see courses, progress and certificates. They do not see a coaching hub with their next session, their own goals, their habit streaks and their coach's notes, because LearnWorlds does not describe those features.
Admin: team, reporting and data
Starter allows 1 admin, Pro Trainer 5 and Learning Center 25. Learning Center adds automations, scheduled reports and 2 hours of setup help. Corporate adds a 99.95% uptime commitment, daily backups, an SLA and DPA, a success manager and 24/7 phone support at a custom price. More than 50 integrations are listed from Pro Trainer.
Honest note: the self-serve plans cap monthly active learners at 1,000 (Starter) or 2,000 (Pro Trainer and Learning Center). Data export is not documented on the pages we checked, so ask LearnWorlds what you can take with you before you build a large school there. There are no coaching agreements with e-signature, no client records with notes and intake answers, and no ICF hour tracking.
How does LearnWorlds compare with a coaching platform, job by job?
The short version: LearnWorlds wins on instructional features and corporate e-learning standards, and Coachful covers more of a coach's week from first booking to last check-in.
| Job | Coachful | LearnWorlds |
|---|---|---|
| Coachful | Coaching platform: one login for the coach, one branded app for the client | Course and learning platform |
| Booking | Booking pages with availability rules, buffers, minimum notice, time-zone detection, two-way Google, Apple and Outlook sync | Live 1:1 and group sessions listed; booking rules and calendar sync not documented on the pages checked |
| Payments | Your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay; subscriptions, payment plans, order bumps, coupons; 0% Coachful platform fee | Your own Stripe or PayPal; $5 per paid enrollment on Starter; subscriptions from Pro Trainer |
| Contracts | Coaching agreements with e-signature, stored on the client record | Not listed |
| Programs and accountability | Multi-week programs, daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins, goals with progress bars, streaks | Courses, learning paths, quizzes, certificates; no habits or check-ins listed |
| Courses | Modules, lessons, drip, completion tracking, 48 course templates with quizzes | Interactive video, AI course builder, SCORM, certificates, LTI 1.3 on Learning Center |
| Community | Feed, group chat, direct messages, video events, cohort groups created on enrollment | Up to 10 client groups on Learning Center |
| Marketing | Website with blog and 30 homepage templates, funnels, email sequences with branching and A/B splits | Site builder, 15 funnels and 2,000 mass emails a month on Pro Trainer |
| AI | Michelle, the assistant that works from live practice data, plus an optional AI Coach for selected clients | AI course and quiz builder with 300 to 1,000 AI credits a month |
| Client app | Your branding inside the Coachful app | Branded app as a separately priced add-on |
If you mostly need the right-hand column, LearnWorlds is a sound choice. If you need the left-hand column, the rest of this review explains your options.

How much does LearnWorlds cost?
LearnWorlds costs $29, $99 or $299 a month on its three self-serve plans, or $24, $79 or $249 a month billed annually, as listed in October 2026. Corporate is priced on request.
| Plan | Monthly | Billed annually (per month) | Key limits | Platform fee on sales |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful | Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients | Flat monthly plans that cancel in one click | Lower plans cap clients; Pro is unlimited; team plans add coach seats | 0% Coachful platform fee; Stripe or Razorpay processing only |
| LearnWorlds Starter | $29 | $24 | 1 admin, 1,000 active learners a month, 300 AI credits | $5 per paid enrollment |
| LearnWorlds Pro Trainer | $99 | $79 | 5 admins, 2,000 active learners, 500 AI credits, 20 SCORM packages, 15 funnels, 2,000 mass emails | None |
| LearnWorlds Learning Center | $299 | $249 | 25 admins, 2,000 active learners, 1,000 AI credits, 10 client groups, 5,000 mass emails | None |
| LearnWorlds Corporate | Custom | Custom | Custom limits, SLA, DPA, 24/7 phone support | None listed |
A few things to read around the table:
- Currency and tax. The page shows "$" without naming the currency, and prices exclude VAT, which is added for EU customers without a VAT number. Our screenshot loaded in euros.
- Annual savings. Annual billing saves 20%: $240 a year on Pro Trainer and $600 a year on Learning Center.
- Add-ons with no listed price. The branded mobile app, extra emails and extra AI credits are sold separately. Done-for-you migration is available on request.
- Processing. Stripe and PayPal charge 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction on top of any plan.
A worked example, using illustrative numbers: a coach on Starter who sells 30 course enrollments a month pays $29 plus $150 in enrollment fees, so $179 a month to LearnWorlds before Stripe. On Pro Trainer the same month costs $99. That is why most coaches selling regularly will start at Pro Trainer. If you also need a scheduler, an e-signature tool and a habit-tracking app beside it, add those subscriptions to the total before you compare. For the coaching side of that comparison, Coachful's current plans are here (Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients).
What do public reviewers praise and complain about?
Public reviewers mostly praise LearnWorlds' support and how easy the platform is to use, and the complaints cluster around managing multi-seat or team accounts. LearnWorlds holds 4.8 out of 5 on Trustpilot from 423 reviews as of October 25, 2026, with about 5% one-star and 4% two-star ratings.
What reviewers praise
- Fast support. Several five-star reviews from July 2026 describe support tickets answered within an hour or issues solved in a couple of minutes.
- Ease of use and flexible activities. Reviewers describe the platform as user-friendly and say it offers a wide range of flexible learning activities.
What reviewers complain about
- Multi-seat billing. One-star reviews from August 2026 say that buying multiple seats for a team or business client does not support direct automatic payment.
- Admin effort. Some reviewers say managing the platform's functions takes a lot of time.
- Video library and data uploads. Trustpilot's own summary of reviews mentions difficulty managing the video library and occasional problems with complex course materials and automated data uploads.
Trustpilot also shows that LearnWorlds replies to about 40% of negative reviews. For coaches, the more useful question is whether the product matches your business, and reviews say less about that because they mostly describe course delivery rather than client coaching.
What are LearnWorlds' pros and cons?
LearnWorlds' pros are its course tools, its standards support and its reviews; its cons are the Starter enrollment fee, the learner and email caps, and the missing coaching back office.
| Pros | Cons |
|---|---|
| Interactive video, AI course and quiz builder, learning paths and certificates | $5 fee per paid enrollment on Starter |
| SCORM from Pro Trainer, unlimited SCORM and LTI 1.3 on Learning Center | Monthly active learner caps of 1,000 or 2,000 on self-serve plans |
| Own Stripe and PayPal accounts; no LearnWorlds fee from Pro Trainer up | 2,000 mass emails a month on Pro Trainer, with extra emails priced separately |
| 30-day free trial with no credit card required, per LearnWorlds | Branded mobile app is an add-on with no listed price |
| 4.8 on Trustpilot from 423 reviews, with support often praised | No coaching agreements, client records, habits or check-ins listed |
| Corporate plan with SLA, DPA and 24/7 phone support | Full white-label and automations only on the $299 Learning Center plan |
Who is LearnWorlds best for, and who should choose something else?
LearnWorlds is best for course creators, trainers and coaches who sell training at scale, especially to companies. It is not the best fit for coaches whose main product is a relationship with each client.
Choose LearnWorlds if you:
- sell self-paced courses to hundreds of learners and want interactive video and assessments;
- sell training to companies that ask for SCORM files, LTI connections, an SLA or a DPA;
- want certificates and learning paths as part of the product;
- run coaching as a small extra on top of a course business.
Choose something else if you:
- sell 1:1 packages and need booking, contracts and invoices in one place (see our coaching software overview);
- run multi-week programs where clients log habits and check in daily;
- want one app where clients see their sessions, goals, notes and courses together;
- track ICF credential hours, which Coachful does on its ICF hour tracking page and LearnWorlds does not list.
Health and wellness coaches should note one more thing whichever tool they pick. Coaching is not medical treatment. Neither LearnWorlds nor Coachful is built for clinical record-keeping, and Coachful is not HIPAA-certified. If a client describes symptoms that need diagnosis or care, refer them to a licensed professional.
What are the best LearnWorlds alternatives for coaches?
The best LearnWorlds alternative for most coaches is Coachful, followed by Kajabi, Thinkific, Teachable and Podia for coaches who want to stay course-first.
Ranking criteria: one login for the whole client journey, delivery between sessions, total stack cost, and setup effort (including Coachful's free white-glove build).
| Tool | Best for | Entry price (monthly) | Platform fee on sales | Habits and check-ins |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful | Coaches who deliver programs, sessions and courses to clients in one place | Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients | 0% Coachful fee | Yes, plus goals and streaks |
| Kajabi | Coaches selling courses and communities with heavy marketing | $179 (Basic) | None with Kajabi Payments; 0.5% to 2% extra on other processors | No |
| Thinkific | Course creators who want large student allowances | $109 (Start) | 0% with Thinkific Payments | No |
| Teachable | Coaches selling a few courses and digital products | $39 (Starter) | 7.5% on Starter, 0% from Builder | No |
| Podia | Simple storefronts for courses, downloads and calls | $49 (Mover) | 5% on Mover, 0% from Shaker | No |
| LearnWorlds | Interactive, standards-based course delivery | $29 (Starter) | $5 per paid enrollment on Starter | No |
1. Coachful: best for coaches who deliver programs, not just courses
Coachful is a coaching platform where one subscription covers booking, payments, contracts, program delivery with habits and check-ins, courses, a community, a website with funnels and email, and an AI assistant. The coach has one login and the client has one branded app. It is built for coaches who deliver programs rather than single sessions, solo coaches growing into a small team, and coaches replacing four to six separate tools. The company is based in Tallinn, Estonia, and holds 4.5 on Trustpilot from 21 reviews.

Where LearnWorlds stops at the course, Coachful carries on into the week between sessions. Multi-week programs hold weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins, goals with progress bars and streaks. Each client record holds goals, check-ins, habits, notes, intake answers, tags, payments and sessions, and marks the client as thriving, active, quiet or at risk, so you see who needs a nudge before they drift.
Here is a short walkthrough of how programs are built and delivered:
Booking pages handle availability rules, buffers, minimum notice and time-zone detection, with two-way Google, Apple/iCloud and Outlook sync and built-in video or automatic Zoom, Meet or Teams links. Email reminders are standard, and SMS (24 hours before) and WhatsApp (1 hour before) reminders work once messaging is enabled. Paid sessions, session credits and intake questions are part of the booking flow. More on our scheduling software page.

Payments run through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account, with one-time sales, subscriptions, payment plans, order bumps, coupons, refunds, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Stripe Tax. Coachful has charged a 0% platform fee since August 2026, so only the processor's fees apply. Coaching agreements with e-signature go out before the first call and are stored on the client record (see coaching contracts and coaching payment software).

Courses are included in your Coachful membership too: modules, lessons, drip, completion tracking, downloads, videos and bundles, all delivered into the client's branded home. Coachful ships 48 course templates with quizzes and more than 40 ready-to-film program templates. If corporate buyers ask you for SCORM packages or LTI connections, LearnWorlds is the specialist there. Read more on the online course platform for coaches page.

The community side includes a feed, group chat, direct messages and video events, and cohort groups are created automatically when someone enrolls in a program (see group coaching software). For marketing, the section-based website builder includes a blog, custom domain, SEO settings and 30 designed homepage templates, with booking, application, lead-magnet and checkout funnels and email sequences with triggers, delays, branching and A/B splits (coach website builder).

Michelle, the built-in AI assistant, works from your live practice data. She builds programs, drafts emails and content, summarizes recorded sessions and briefs you before each session, and can give optional private feedback on your coaching against ICF Core Competencies 3 to 8. Questions and planning are included in the membership; confirmed builds and changes use AI credits. The AI coaching assistant page has the details.
What Coachful does not do. It is not HIPAA-certified and offers no BAA, so it is not for clinical record-keeping or insurance billing. It has no PayPal and no permanent free plan. The client app ships under the Coachful listing with your branding, not under your own App Store account. There is no Garmin, Fitbit, Whoop or Oura sync, and it is not a course marketplace or a general website builder for non-coaching sites. The affiliate program tracks links, clicks, conversions and revenue, but payouts are recorded manually.
Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. On every plan, you can open Create > We'll build it for you · FREE, describe what you want, attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files, and the Coachful team builds it inside your own account, usually within about 24 hours. That can be a website, a funnel, a sales page, a program, a course outline with written material, an email sequence, a form or a lead quiz. Nothing is invented: no fake credentials, testimonials or prices, and gaps are left for you to fill. A somatic coach leaving Kajabi had their homepage and About page rebuilt and the contact form connected; a menopause and midlife health coach starting from nothing got a five-page site in sage and cream with every button leading to a free 20-minute consultation. Read how the white-glove service works.

How to start: begin a free trial, then request a white-glove build of your site, program or funnel. Your clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding, and you can export all client data as a ZIP whenever you want. For our own full assessment, including who should not buy it, see the Coachful review.
Pick LearnWorlds over Coachful if... your buyers are companies that need SCORM, LTI and an SLA, or if your business is self-paced courses with no ongoing client relationship.
2. Kajabi: best for marketing-heavy course and community businesses
Kajabi is a course, community, website, funnel and email platform for selling knowledge products. Basic costs $179 a month ($143 billed annually) for 5 products, 2,500 contacts, one community and 0 AI credits, and Growth costs $249 a month for 50 products and 25,000 contacts. Using a processor other than Kajabi Payments or PayPal adds a Kajabi fee of 0.5% to 2%. It holds 3.4 on Trustpilot from 2,347 reviews as of October 25, 2026.

Compared with LearnWorlds, Kajabi is stronger on marketing volume and weaker on instructional tools. Like LearnWorlds, it has no habit tracking or daily client check-ins; coaching is sold as products and communities, not per-client plans.
Pick it over Coachful if... your business is driven by large email lists, launches and digital products, and coaching is a small part of what you sell.
3. Thinkific: best for course creators with large student numbers
Thinkific is a course platform with communities, memberships and coaching or webinar products. Start costs $109 a month ($82 billed annually) and includes 10,000 current students, two admins and one community. There is a 30-day free trial. Prices rose about 10% on August 13, 2026. Thinkific holds 1.8 on Trustpilot from 868 reviews as of October 25, 2026.

Thinkific's student allowance is far larger than LearnWorlds' 1,000 or 2,000 active learners a month, which matters for big free courses. It has no built-in 1:1 scheduling, according to our earlier profile, and its branded mobile app is a $199-a-month add-on.
Pick it over Coachful if... you run high-volume courses for thousands of students and book the occasional call with an outside scheduler.
4. Teachable: best for a handful of courses and digital products
Teachable is a course and digital-product platform with student mobile apps. Starter costs $39 a month ($29 billed annually) for 5 products and takes a 7.5% transaction fee; Builder at $89 a month drops the fee to 0%. It holds 3.3 on Trustpilot from 1,110 reviews as of October 25, 2026.

Teachable has no native scheduling or calendar sync, so coaching calls rely on a separate booking tool, and there are no client habits or check-ins.
Pick it over Coachful if... you sell a few courses and downloads, want student mobile apps, and do not deliver ongoing coaching.
5. Podia: best for a simple storefront
Podia is a simple storefront for courses, downloads, webinars, coaching sessions and community. Mover costs $49 a month ($42 billed annually) with a 5% transaction fee; Shaker at $99 a month removes it. Email allowances are small: 100, 500 or 1,000 subscribers included depending on plan. There is a 14-day trial with no card required. Podia holds 4.1 on Trustpilot from 153 reviews as of October 25, 2026.

Podia is easier to learn than LearnWorlds but has far fewer learning tools, and it has no client habits, check-ins or per-client plans.
Pick it over Coachful if... you want the simplest possible shop for a few digital products and occasional paid calls.

What does a coaching week look like on LearnWorlds versus Coachful?
On LearnWorlds, a typical coaching week is split across several tools; on Coachful it happens in one. Take an illustrative example: a career coach with 15 clients in a 12-week program, a course that supports it, and a weekly group call.

On LearnWorlds. The course lives in the school, with quizzes and a certificate at the end. Subscriptions for the program need Pro Trainer. Clients book their 1:1 calls through a separate scheduler with calendar sync, sign their coaching agreement in an e-signature tool, and log weekly actions in a spreadsheet or habit app. Session notes live in a notes app. The coach checks four or five places before each call.
On Coachful. The client buys the program through a checkout funnel, signs the agreement before the first call and lands in a branded home with the course, their weekly goals, daily tasks and check-ins. The group call is on the same calendar as the 1:1s. Before each session, Michelle briefs the coach from the client's check-ins and notes, and the client's status shows whether they are thriving or at risk. For 15 clients, the relevant plan is here: Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients.

Neither setup is wrong. The question is how many tools you are happy to pay for and keep in sync. If you are starting from scratch, our guide for new coaches and the career coach page show what a single-platform setup looks like.
Final verdict: should you choose LearnWorlds?
Choose LearnWorlds if you are building a course business, especially one that sells to companies. It has the strongest instructional toolkit in this review, it supports SCORM and LTI, its reviews are excellent and its support is praised. Start on Pro Trainer rather than Starter if you expect more than 14 paid enrollments a month, and confirm the learner caps, email limits and data export before you commit.
Choose a coaching platform if your income comes from clients rather than learners. LearnWorlds does not list booking rules, calendar sync, agreements, client records, habits or check-ins, and a coach who needs them will pay for and connect three or four extra tools. Coachful puts those jobs, plus courses, community, website, funnels and email, behind one login, and the free white-glove build gets your first site or program set up for you.

Can I track client habits and check-ins in LearnWorlds?
LearnWorlds does not list habit tracking, daily check-ins or per-client goals. Its tools focus on courses, quizzes, certificates and learning paths. Coachful includes habits, morning and evening check-ins, goals and streaks inside its programs.
What is the best LearnWorlds alternative for 1:1 coaching?
For 1:1 and program coaching, we recommend Coachful, because booking, payments, agreements, programs, courses and client records share one login. If you want to stay course-first, Kajabi, Thinkific, Teachable and Podia are the closest alternatives.

On every Coachful plan, you can ask the team to build a website, funnel, sales page, program, course outline, email sequence or form inside your account, usually within about 24 hours. You attach up to 8 reference links and 10 files, and nothing is invented: gaps are left for you. It does not cover recording videos, logo design, ad management or ongoing marketing.
Can I move from LearnWorlds to Coachful?
Yes. Coachful imports your clients, programs and content for you during onboarding, and the white-glove team can rebuild your sales pages and funnels. Check with LearnWorlds which data you can export, since export is not documented on the pages we checked.
