ActiveCampaign vs Kajabi: Which Should Coaches Pick in 2026?

In the activecampaign vs kajabi decision, the honest answer is that these two tools solve different problems. ActiveCampaign is an email marketing automation platform with a contact CRM: it is excellent at segmented sequences and branching automations, and it has no courses, client portal or checkout of its own. Kajabi is a course, community, website and funnel platform for selling knowledge products, with email included: it sells your programs well, but it has no per-client plans, habits or daily check-ins. Pick ActiveCampaign if email is your business engine. Pick Kajabi if digital products are.
Many coaches end up paying for one and then bolting on the other, plus a booking tool and a payment setup. That is why this comparison ends with a third option, Coachful, which puts booking, payments, programs, courses, community, website, funnels and email in one login. We make Coachful, so we have tried to be specific about where it wins and where ActiveCampaign or Kajabi is the better buy. All vendor prices below are as listed in October 2026, in US dollars.
What is the short answer by use case?
If you only read one section, read this one. Match your situation to the line that fits, then check the pricing and feature sections for the details that could change the answer.
- You run a large email list and sell through launches and nurture sequences: ActiveCampaign. Its automation builder, split testing, predictive sending and segmentation are the deepest of the three.
- You sell recorded courses, memberships and a paid community: Kajabi. Products, community, website, funnels and email sit together, and Kajabi Payments handles checkout.
- You coach clients one to one or in small groups over weeks or months: neither fits cleanly. ActiveCampaign has no booking calendar, client portal or programs. Kajabi has no habit tracking, check-ins or per-client plans. This is where Coachful fits best.
- You need HIPAA support for clinical work: ActiveCampaign Enterprise lists HIPAA support. Kajabi's pricing page does not list it, and Coachful is not HIPAA-certified. Clinical records belong in a clinical system.
- You want a team sales pipeline with deal stages and Salesforce sync: ActiveCampaign with the Enhanced CRM add-on, or Enterprise for Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics.
- You are starting out and want the lowest total cost for a full coaching setup: Coachful, because one flat plan replaces the booking, checkout, contract, course and email tools you would otherwise stack around either platform.
How do ActiveCampaign and Kajabi compare side by side?
ActiveCampaign is built for marketing to contacts; Kajabi is built for selling products to customers; neither is built around delivering coaching to a client between sessions. The table below shows the shape of each tool.
Ranked on what a working coach needs most: one login for the whole client journey, delivery between sessions, total stack cost, and setup effort (including a free white-glove build).
| Tool | Built for | Email automation | Courses and community | Booking and payments | Client delivery between sessions |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful | Coaches who deliver programs, from solo to small team | Lists, broadcasts, multi-step sequences with triggers, delays, branching and A/B splits | Courses with drip and completion tracking; community feed, group chat, cohort groups | Native booking pages and calendar sync; checkout through your own Stripe or Razorpay | Programs with weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins, branded client app |
| ActiveCampaign | Email marketing automation for businesses of any type | The deepest of the three: 950+ automation recipes, split automations, predictive sending (Pro) | None | None built in; Calendly, Acuity, PayPal and Stripe integrations from Plus | None |
| Kajabi | Selling courses, memberships, communities and knowledge products | Marketing emails and automations included; less granular than ActiveCampaign | Strong: products, communities (1 to 3 by plan) | Kajabi Payments and PayPal; coaching sold as a product | No habits, daily check-ins or per-client plans |

ActiveCampaign's own positioning is marketing automation. Its plans add features as you move up: landing pages, payment and scheduling integrations and sales automation arrive on Plus; predictive sending, conditional content and attribution on Pro; single sign-on, HIPAA support and custom objects on Enterprise.

Kajabi positions itself as the place to build and sell knowledge products. Every plan includes unlimited funnels, landing pages and marketing emails; what changes between plans is the number of products, contacts, communities, websites and admin users, plus AI credits and transaction fees.
How much do ActiveCampaign and Kajabi cost?
ActiveCampaign starts lower, at $15 a month billed yearly for 1,000 contacts, while Kajabi starts at $143 a month billed yearly. But the two prices buy very different things, and ActiveCampaign's price rises with every contact band, so the gap narrows fast as your list grows.
| Tool and plan | Monthly billing | Billed yearly (per month) | What the price covers | Platform fee on sales |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful | Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients | Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients | Flat plans; lower plans cap clients, Pro is unlimited; booking, payments, programs, courses, community, website, funnels and email included | 0% (Stripe or Razorpay processing only) |
| ActiveCampaign Starter | $19 | $15 | 1,000 contacts, 10,000 sends a month, 1 seat, 5 actions per automation, no landing pages | Does not process payments |
| ActiveCampaign Plus | $59 | $49 | 1,000 contacts, unlimited automation actions, landing pages, Stripe, PayPal and Calendly integrations | Does not process payments |
| ActiveCampaign Pro | $99 | $79 | 1,000 contacts, 12,000 sends, 3 seats, predictive sending, attribution | Does not process payments |
| ActiveCampaign Enterprise | $179 | $145 | 1,000 contacts, 15,000 sends, 5 seats, SSO, HIPAA support, Salesforce integration | Does not process payments |
| Kajabi Basic | $179 | $143 | 5 products, 2,500 contacts, 1 community, 1 website, 2 admins, 0 AI credits | 2.9% + $0.30 via Kajabi Payments (US); extra 2% on other processors except PayPal |
| Kajabi Growth | $249 | $199 | 50 products, 25,000 contacts, 11 admins, 500 AI credits, affiliate program | 2.8% + $0.30 (US); extra 1% on other processors |
| Kajabi Pro | $499 | $399 | Unlimited products, 100,000 contacts, 3 communities, 3 websites, 26 admins, branded app | 2.7% + $0.30 (US); extra 0.5% on other processors |

One detail matters when you read ActiveCampaign's page: it renders only the yearly per-month prices for 1,000 contacts. The monthly-billing prices in the table come from the page's own pricing catalog, whose yearly totals ($180, $588, $948 and $1,740) divided by 12 match the rendered prices exactly. ActiveCampaign's FAQ says there are no setup costs or hidden fees, but contact growth moves you to the next band automatically.

What does each cost at 2,500 contacts?
Kajabi Basic includes 2,500 contacts, so it is a fair point to compare. At 2,500 contacts, ActiveCampaign lists Starter at $49 monthly or $39 a month yearly, Plus at $119 or $95, Pro at $189 or $149, and Enterprise at $319 or $255. Here is what a coach running a small program business might actually pay. These are worked examples built from list prices, not quotes.
| Setup (example, 2,500 contacts) | What you pay for | Monthly cost, billed yearly | Still missing |
|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful | One plan for booking, checkout, contracts, programs, courses, community, website, funnels and email (example: 15 active clients) | Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients | Deal board for large sales teams; HIPAA |
| ActiveCampaign Plus alone | Email automation, landing pages, payment and scheduling integrations | $95 | Booking tool, checkout, course host, community, client portal |
| ActiveCampaign Plus with Enhanced CRM Pipelines | Plus, plus the pipeline add-on (base $49 a month plus $19 per seat on monthly billing, catalog figures) | About $163 (Plus yearly plus add-on monthly figures) | Booking tool, checkout, course host, client portal |
| Kajabi Basic | 5 products, community, website, funnels, email, checkout | $143 plus card fees on every sale | Habits, check-ins, per-client plans; AI credits (0 on Basic) |
| ActiveCampaign Plus and Kajabi Basic together | Deep email automation on top of Kajabi's products | $238 plus Kajabi card fees | Habits, check-ins, per-client plans, and two logins to maintain |
The last row is more common than it looks. Coaches who outgrow Kajabi's email often keep Kajabi for courses and add ActiveCampaign for automation, then sync the two through Zapier. It works, but you pay twice for contact storage and keep two sets of tags in step.
What are the hidden costs?
With ActiveCampaign, the add-ons are where costs grow. The Enhanced CRM Pipelines add-on costs $49, $85 or $119 a month as a base on Plus, Pro or Enterprise, plus a per-seat charge of $19, $29 or $49. The Pipelines and Sales Engagement version runs $85 to $199 base plus $39 to $79 per seat. Custom reporting is $159 a month on Plus and Pro. SMS, WhatsApp messaging and transactional email are sold separately. Extra seats cost money too: one extra Starter seat is $10 a month, and Starter caps at 2 seats.
With Kajabi, the cost that grows is the transaction fee. On Basic, a coach selling $5,000 a month through Kajabi Payments pays about $145 in percentage fees plus $0.30 per sale, on top of the plan price (an illustrative example). Extra contacts cost $125 a month per 25,000. Kajabi's AI credit top-up is listed at $15 for 500 credits, marked as coming. For a full breakdown, see our Kajabi pricing guide.
Both offer a way to try before committing. ActiveCampaign has a free 14-day trial with email sign-up and no credit card, plus a 30-day full-refund guarantee on paid plans. Kajabi's help center describes a 14-day trial where a card is optional; if you enter one, Kajabi places an authorization hold and charges when the trial ends. Some Kajabi features, including bulk contact import, test emails and some automations, stay locked until you activate a paid plan. Kajabi also lists a 30-day money-back guarantee on every plan.
Which is better for email marketing and automation?
ActiveCampaign is clearly better at email. It is the product's entire focus, and it shows in the depth of segmentation, branching and testing available, especially from Plus upward.
ActiveCampaign lists 250+ email templates, 950+ automation recipes, AI-powered automation and campaign builders, and Gmail and Outlook integration on every plan. Starter, though, limits each automation to 5 actions and is email-only. Plus removes the action cap and adds cross-channel marketing, site messages and generative AI for content. Pro adds the features that experienced email marketers care about: predictive sending, conditional content, advanced segmentation, attribution, split automations and an automations map.
Kajabi includes unlimited marketing emails on every plan, and because email lives in the same platform as your products and funnels, there is no sync to maintain between your list and your buyers. What Kajabi does not match is ActiveCampaign's granularity. If you run multi-branch nurture paths based on behavior, conditional content blocks or predictive send times, Kajabi will feel limited.
Coachful sits between them. It includes email lists, broadcasts and multi-step sequences with triggers, delays, branching and A/B splits, and those triggers live next to bookings, payments and program enrollments, so a sequence can start when a client books a discovery call or finishes week four. It does not offer predictive sending or conditional content blocks. Here is a short walkthrough of the email side of Coachful:
Which handles landing pages, funnels and websites better?
Kajabi wins this one against ActiveCampaign. Every Kajabi plan includes a website, unlimited funnels and landing pages; ActiveCampaign has no website builder and only adds landing pages from Plus.
On ActiveCampaign Starter, you get standard and inline forms only. That is fine if your website lives elsewhere and you only need an opt-in box. From Plus you get landing pages and custom-branded forms, and you can connect Facebook, Google and LinkedIn ads. You still need a separate site.
Kajabi gives you one website on Basic and Growth and three on Pro, along with funnels that connect opt-ins, sales pages, checkout and email. For a coach selling a course or a membership, this is a big part of Kajabi's appeal. We compare Kajabi's funnel and email side against Coachful in detail in Coachful vs Kajabi for coaching funnels and email.
Coachful includes a section-based website builder with a blog, custom domain, SEO settings and 30 designed homepage templates, plus booking, application, lead-magnet and checkout funnels with pixels and UTM tracking, and a link-in-bio page that sells. It is built for coaching sites, not for general sites outside coaching.

Which is better for courses, memberships and community?
Kajabi, by a wide margin, because ActiveCampaign has no course hosting or community at all. If you sell recorded programs, this section probably decides the activecampaign vs kajabi question for you.
Kajabi's plans are organized around products: 5 on Basic, 50 on Growth and unlimited on Pro. Communities are included (one on Basic and Growth, three on Pro), and the branded mobile app is a Pro feature according to Kajabi's comparison table in October 2026. We cover its strengths and weak points in our Kajabi review.
With ActiveCampaign, you would pair it with a separate course platform. For context, Thinkific's Start plan is listed at $82 a month billed yearly, and Teachable's Starter plan at $29 a month billed yearly with a 7.5% transaction fee. That second subscription is part of the real cost of choosing ActiveCampaign as a coach who sells courses.
Coachful includes courses with modules, lessons, drip and completion tracking, plus downloads, videos, books, AI tools, events and bundles, all delivered into the client's branded home and app. It also includes 48 course templates with quizzes. The community side has a feed, group chat, direct messages, video events, and cohort groups created automatically when someone enrolls in a program. It is not a course marketplace, so it will not send you buyers the way a marketplace might. More on this in our guide to the online course platform for coaches.

How do booking, payments and contracts compare?
Neither ActiveCampaign nor Kajabi is a booking and billing system for coaching sessions. ActiveCampaign has no booking calendar and no checkout; Kajabi has checkout and sells coaching as a product, but it is not built around per-client session management.
ActiveCampaign relies on integrations. Calendly, Acuity Scheduling and Eventbrite connect from Plus, and PayPal and Stripe connect from Plus to feed purchase data into automations. Starter has none of these. ActiveCampaign itself does not invoice or process payments, so there is no ActiveCampaign fee, only your processor's.
Kajabi processes payments through Kajabi Payments or PayPal. In the US, Kajabi Payments costs 2.9% + $0.30 on Basic, 2.8% + $0.30 on Growth and 2.7% + $0.30 on Pro. If you use another processor (other than PayPal), Kajabi adds its own fee of 2%, 1% or 0.5% on top of that processor's fees. Contracts with e-signature are not part of Kajabi's pricing page. If you need booking rules such as buffers, minimum notice or round-robin assignment, check what Kajabi's coaching product covers during the trial, because its plans are described in products and contacts, not sessions.
Coachful includes booking pages with availability rules, buffers, minimum notice and time-zone detection; two-way Google, Apple/iCloud and Outlook calendar sync; built-in video or auto-created Zoom, Meet or Teams links; email reminders plus SMS and WhatsApp reminders once messaging is enabled; and paid sessions and session credits. Payments run through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account with one-time payments, subscriptions, payment plans, order bumps, coupons, refunds, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Stripe Tax. Coachful takes a 0% platform fee. Coaching agreements with e-signature go out before the first call and stay on the client record. It does not support PayPal. See Coachful's scheduling software and coaching contracts for detail.

Which has the better CRM and sales pipeline?
ActiveCampaign, if you need a formal deal pipeline and are willing to pay for the add-on. Kajabi's contact records are built for customers and product access, not sales stages.
Every ActiveCampaign plan includes a contact CRM with tags, custom fields, and lead and deal scores. Deal pipelines, though, require the paid Enhanced CRM add-on, available from Plus. Enterprise adds custom objects and Salesforce and Microsoft Dynamics integrations, which matters if you sell coaching to companies with their own sales stack.
Kajabi stores contacts up to your plan's limit (2,500, 25,000 or 100,000) with their purchases and community membership. That is enough to see who bought what, but it is not a pipeline.
Coachful's client record holds goals, check-ins, habits, notes, intake answers, tags, payments, sessions and an AI briefing per client, with a status of thriving, active, quiet or at risk. Leads land on a Prospects page with a board view. It has no multi-stage deal board for large sales teams and no Salesforce or HubSpot integration, so a coaching firm with a dedicated sales team may prefer ActiveCampaign with Enhanced CRM. For solo coaches, our guide to managing coaching pipelines without ActiveCampaign shows the lighter approach.

How do the AI features compare?
ActiveCampaign includes 500 AI credits on every plan; Kajabi includes none on Basic, 500 on Growth and 1,000 on Pro. Both use AI mainly to help you write and build marketing.
ActiveCampaign lists AI-powered automation and campaign builders on every plan, and Plus adds generative AI for content and images. Extra AI credits are sold separately. Kajabi Basic includes no AI credits at all, which is worth knowing if AI drafting is part of your plan.
Coachful's assistant, Michelle, works from your live practice data. It builds programs, drafts emails and content, summarizes recorded sessions, briefs you before sessions and, if you choose, gives private feedback on your own coaching against ICF Core Competencies 3 to 8. Questions and planning are included in the membership; confirmed builds and changes use AI credits. Coachful also offers an AI Coach: an AI version of you that selected clients can chat with between sessions, configured by you. More on the AI coaching assistant.
What does the client experience look like?
With ActiveCampaign, your client experiences emails and nothing else. With Kajabi, they get a course library and a community, which is good for self-paced learning but has no place for daily habits, check-ins or a plan written for them alone.
This is the biggest practical gap in the comparison for working coaches. Coaching results usually come from what happens between sessions: the client doing the work, reporting back, and the coach noticing early when someone goes quiet. ActiveCampaign can send a weekly reminder, but the client replies by email and you track the answer yourself. Kajabi can drip a lesson, but there is nowhere for the client to tick off a habit or answer a morning check-in that you then see on their record.

In Coachful, a client opens one branded app (your branding inside the Coachful app) and sees their program for the week, their daily tasks, their habits with streaks, their morning and evening check-ins, their goals with progress bars, and their next session. You see the same activity on their record, so a client marked quiet or at risk gets a nudge before they drift.

Here is how the client side compares across the three tools.
| Tool | Client app | Habits and check-ins | Per-client plans | Group space |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful | Your branding inside the Coachful app | Habits with streaks, morning and evening check-ins | Yes: programs with weekly goals and daily tasks per client | Community feed, group chat, auto-created cohort groups |
| ActiveCampaign | None | None | None | None |
| Kajabi | Branded app on Pro | None | No; coaching is products and communities | Communities (1 to 3 by plan) |
How easy is it to leave each platform?
Both let you export contacts to CSV, but neither hands you everything. Plan your exit before you build your business on either one.
ActiveCampaign exports all contacts, single contacts, search results and lists to CSV, with standard and custom fields, scores and tags. The download link lasts 7 days, and contact notes cannot be exported. Kajabi provides emailed CSV exports for contacts, subscriptions, sales and members, but course content has to be downloaded manually asset by asset, and an older Kajabi profile notes that data is removed 90 days after cancellation.
Coachful exports full client data as a ZIP (roster, notes, check-ins, goals, habits, sessions and form responses) and exports courses. Going the other way, your clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding.
What do public reviewers say?
On Trustpilot in October 2026, Kajabi scores 3.4 from 2,347 reviews. ActiveCampaign's Trustpilot heading shows 2.7 from 1,452 reviews, while the star image on the same page reads 2.5. Coachful shows 4.5 from 21 reviews, a much smaller sample.
Read star ratings for patterns rather than as a verdict, and filter recent reviews by the features you would actually use. Neither score tells you whether the tool fits a coaching practice, which the sections above do.
Which should you pick for which coach?
Choose by what you sell and how you deliver it. The tool that matches your main revenue stream will save you the most time.
- Course creator with a big audience: Kajabi Growth. 50 products, 25,000 contacts and an affiliate program cover most launches. See also our ranked Kajabi alternatives for coaches if the price is the sticking point.
- Newsletter-led coach or consultant with a separate site and booking tool: ActiveCampaign Plus. You get the automation depth and the Calendly and Stripe integrations without paying for course hosting you will not use. Compare it with lighter email tools in MailerLite vs ActiveCampaign and ActiveCampaign vs ConvertKit.
- Coaching firm with salespeople and corporate clients: ActiveCampaign Pro or Enterprise with Enhanced CRM. Seats, pipelines and Salesforce sync matter at that size.
- Life, health, mindset or business coach running 1:1 and group programs: Coachful. You need booking, payments, contracts, program delivery and check-ins, and both other tools leave most of that to add-ons.
- Coach selling courses and coaching together: Coachful, unless your course catalog is large enough to need Kajabi's product scale and you do not need habits or check-ins.
- Fitness or nutrition coach: Coachful's Fitness & Nutrition pack adds workouts, logging, macros, meal plans and progress photos, which neither ActiveCampaign nor Kajabi offers.
The third option: when does Coachful beat both, and when does it not?
Coachful beats both when your business is coaching clients over time and you want one login and one bill for the whole client journey. It loses when you need ActiveCampaign's email depth at scale, Kajabi's product catalog at scale, or HIPAA.

What Coachful is. Coachful is a coaching platform. One subscription covers booking, payments, contracts, program delivery with habits and check-ins, courses, a community, a website with funnels and email, and an AI assistant. The coach has one login and the client has one branded app. It is built for coaches who deliver programs, not just sessions, for solo coaches growing into a small team, and for coaches replacing four to six tools. The company is based in Tallinn, Estonia.
Where it beats ActiveCampaign. ActiveCampaign is the email layer only. To coach on it you add a booking tool, a checkout, a contract tool, a course host and a client portal. Coachful includes those, and its email sequences trigger from bookings, payments and enrollments without Zapier. Instagram automations let a keyword comment send your booking link or lead magnet by DM, and the person lands in the same lead record.
Where it beats Kajabi. Kajabi sells content well but does not deliver coaching between sessions. Coachful adds multi-week programs with weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, check-ins and goals with progress bars, a client record with status, and ICF credential tracking that counts hours and clients against ACC, PCC and MCC thresholds and exports a client coaching log. It charges a 0% platform fee on top of Stripe or Razorpay processing, where Kajabi adds a fee if you use another processor. Read the full Coachful vs Kajabi comparison or the Kajabi alternative page.
Where it does not beat them. Be honest with yourself on these points:
- No predictive sending, conditional content or attribution reporting at ActiveCampaign Pro's level.
- No multi-stage deal board for large teams, and no Salesforce or HubSpot integration.
- Not HIPAA-certified and no BAA; ActiveCampaign Enterprise lists HIPAA support.
- Not a course marketplace and not a general website builder for non-coaching sites; no third-party plugins.
- No PayPal; Kajabi supports PayPal.
- The client app ships under the Coachful listing with your branding, not your own App Store account, which Kajabi Pro offers.
- The affiliate program tracks links, clicks, conversions and revenue, but payouts are recorded manually rather than sent by Coachful.

Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. On every plan, you can go to Create and choose "We'll build it for you · FREE", describe what you want, attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files, and the Coachful team builds it inside your own account, usually within about 24 hours. It covers websites, funnels, sales pages, programs, course outlines and written material, coaching flows, forms, email sequences, link in bio, lead quizzes, webinars and automations. Nothing gets invented: no fake credentials, testimonials or prices; gaps are left for you to fill. It does not include recording videos, logo design, ad management or ongoing marketing. One recent example: a somatic coach leaving Kajabi had their homepage and About page rebuilt and the contact form connected. Another: a business mentor for beauty professionals got a 12-week mentorship sales page, a free start-up-guide funnel and rewritten follow-up emails. Read more about the free white-glove service.

How to start. Start a free trial, then use the white-glove build to get your site, first funnel or program set up, and have your existing clients and content imported during onboarding. Monthly plans cancel in one click (current plans: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients). If you are still comparing, our coaching software overview and ActiveCampaign alternatives for coaches cover the wider field.
Frequently asked questions
Is ActiveCampaign or Kajabi better for coaches?
It depends on what you sell. ActiveCampaign is better if email automation drives your business and your site, booking and checkout live elsewhere. Kajabi is better if you sell courses, memberships and community. Coaches who deliver multi-week client programs often need features neither has, such as habits, check-ins and per-client plans.
Can I use ActiveCampaign and Kajabi together?
Yes. Many coaches keep Kajabi for products and add ActiveCampaign for deeper automation, connecting them through Zapier or ActiveCampaign's API. At 2,500 contacts, that pairing costs about $238 a month billed yearly before Kajabi's card fees, and you maintain two contact databases.
Is ActiveCampaign cheaper than Kajabi?
At the entry level, yes: ActiveCampaign Starter is $15 a month billed yearly for 1,000 contacts, against $143 for Kajabi Basic. But Starter has no landing pages, payment integrations or courses, and ActiveCampaign's price rises with each contact band. Once you add a course host, a booking tool and the Enhanced CRM add-on, the totals get much closer.
Does Kajabi have email automation as good as ActiveCampaign?
Kajabi includes unlimited marketing emails and automations tied to purchases and opt-ins, which covers most course launches. It does not match ActiveCampaign's predictive sending, conditional content, split automations or advanced segmentation. If those matter to you, ActiveCampaign is the stronger email tool.
Does ActiveCampaign have a booking calendar or course hosting?
No. ActiveCampaign has no built-in booking calendar, checkout, course hosting, client portal or client app. From Plus, it integrates with Calendly, Acuity Scheduling and Eventbrite for booking and with Stripe and PayPal for purchase data.
What fees does Kajabi charge on sales?
Through Kajabi Payments in the US, Kajabi lists 2.9% + $0.30 on Basic, 2.8% + $0.30 on Growth and 2.7% + $0.30 on Pro. If you use a processor other than Kajabi Payments or PayPal, Kajabi adds 2%, 1% or 0.5% depending on plan, on top of that processor's fees.
Which one is HIPAA-compliant?
ActiveCampaign lists HIPAA support on its Enterprise plan only. Kajabi's pricing page does not list HIPAA support. Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and does not sign a BAA, so coaches who keep clinical records should use a clinical system for those records.
What is Coachful's free white-glove service?
It is a done-for-you build included on every Coachful plan. You describe a website, funnel, program, email sequence or similar, attach references and files, and the Coachful team builds it in your account, usually within about 24 hours. It does not include recording videos, logo design, ad management or ongoing marketing.
Can I move from Kajabi or ActiveCampaign to Coachful?
Yes. Export your contacts as CSV from either tool, and download your Kajabi course content asset by asset. During Coachful onboarding, your clients, programs and content are imported for you, and the white-glove service can rebuild your homepage, funnels or email sequences.
Do ActiveCampaign and Kajabi offer free trials?
Both offer 14-day trials. ActiveCampaign's needs only an email and no credit card, and paid plans have a 30-day refund guarantee. Kajabi's card is optional, but if you add one it places an authorization hold and charges when the trial ends; Kajabi also lists a 30-day money-back guarantee.
