10 GoHighLevel Alternatives That Are Easier to Use (2026)

10 GoHighLevel Alternatives That Are Easier to Use (2026)

The best gohighlevel alternatives that are easier to use are the ones that cut setup work for the job you actually do. GoHighLevel is a strong agency marketing CRM, but a coach who mainly books sessions, sells a program and keeps clients on track between calls ends up configuring sub-accounts, workflows, pipelines and metered SMS just to get started. So the deciding question is simple: how much of your client journey works on day one without building it yourself?

Our pick is Coachful, because it ships the coaching side GoHighLevel leaves you to assemble: booking, payments, contracts, multi-week programs with habits and check-ins, courses, a community, a website with funnels and email, all under one login for you and one branded app for your client. We make Coachful, so read our ranking with that in mind; every other tool below is described from its own pricing page as listed in October 2026, with its real limits and a clear "pick it over Coachful if" line.

If you want the broader comparison that is not focused on ease of use, read our GoHighLevel alternatives for coaches roundup. This guide is for the coach who opened GoHighLevel, saw the setup checklist and thought "there has to be something simpler."

Why do coaches find GoHighLevel hard to use?

GoHighLevel is hard for many coaches because it is built for marketing agencies first, so coaching delivery has to be assembled from generic parts. That is a design choice, not a flaw, and it is worth being fair about what the platform does well before you leave it.

Where it is genuinely strong: marketing automation, two-way SMS, sales pipelines, funnels and websites, all under a sub-account model that lets an agency run dozens of client businesses. As listed in October 2026, the Starter plan costs $97 a month with 3 sub-accounts and unlimited users and contacts, Unlimited is $297 a month, and Agency Pro is $497 a month with SaaS Mode for reselling under your own brand. GoHighLevel shows a 4.9 rating from 15,250 Trustpilot reviews (seen October 25, 2026), so plenty of users are happy with it.

Where coaches struggle tends to fall into three buckets:

  • Setup complexity. Calendars, forms, pipelines, workflows, funnels, email domains and phone numbers are separate pieces you wire together. A coach without an agency background usually needs a template "snapshot", a hired builder, or many evenings.
  • Price that grows with usage. SMS, email, phone numbers and AI are metered and billed on top of the plan. Add-ons stack up: the Branded Client Portal App is $49 a month per sub-account, WhatsApp is $10 a month, the AI Employee starts at $50 a month per sub-account, and HIPAA compliance is a $297 monthly add-on below Enterprise. Our GoHighLevel pricing breakdown walks through every line.
  • Client delivery between sessions. GoHighLevel has no habit tracking, no client check-ins and no structured coaching-program engine. You can simulate them with workflows and forms, but then you are maintaining automations instead of coaching. It also has no built-in video rooms; sessions run on Zoom or Google Meet links.

Our GoHighLevel review goes deeper on who it fits. If any of the three buckets above describes your week, keep reading.

What does a coach leaving GoHighLevel need from an easier tool?

A coach leaving GoHighLevel needs the parts of the client journey they used every week to work out of the box, and nothing they have to wire up from scratch. Here is what that means in practice for someone switching away from an agency CRM:

  • A booking page that already knows your calendar. Two-way calendar sync, buffers, minimum notice and time zones handled, with video links created for you, so you are not building a calendar plus a reminder workflow plus an SMS sequence.
  • Payments without a separate invoicing setup. Packages, payment plans and subscriptions on your own payment processor, with invoices generated per transaction.
  • Agreements signed before the first call. A coaching contract with e-signature that lands on the client record, not in a separate document tool.
  • Somewhere for the client to go between sessions. This is the gap GoHighLevel itself does not cover: weekly goals, daily tasks, habits and check-ins the client opens on their phone, and a view that tells you who is slipping.
  • Marketing that is good enough without being a project. A website, a lead-magnet or booking funnel and an email sequence you can launch from a template. Most solo coaches do not need GoHighLevel's full multi-channel pipeline machinery.
  • A predictable bill. A flat monthly price where adding a client does not quietly add SMS and AI charges.
  • A way out. GoHighLevel exports contacts, opportunities and conversations to CSV, but funnels, sites and workflows only move as snapshots inside HighLevel, and data becomes inaccessible after cancellation. Whatever you pick next should let you export your client data.

What you can usually leave behind: multi-location agency sub-accounts, reselling under SaaS Mode, rebilling phone and email with markup, and the large multi-stage deal pipeline. If you depend on those, GoHighLevel is probably still the right tool, and that is fine.

Vendor prices are monthly billing as listed in October 2026 (Practice Better checked on October 27, 2026); annual billing is cheaper for most tools.

How did we choose these tools?

We started from the jobs a GoHighLevel coach account usually does: book sessions, take payments, send email, run a funnel, host a course or community, and keep clients moving between calls. Then we asked which tools cover several of those jobs with less configuration, and how they price it.

  • Setup effort. How much has to be wired together before a client can book, pay and start? Templates, done-for-you imports and build services counted in a tool's favour.
  • Between-session delivery. Does the client have somewhere to go between calls, with tasks, habits or check-ins the coach can see?
  • Total stack cost. Plan price plus transaction fees plus the extra tools you would need to fill gaps (a scheduler, a contract tool, an email platform).
  • Fairness to GoHighLevel. Each entry says when it is the wrong pick, and we kept GoHighLevel's real strengths in view.

We did not run hands-on tests of each product for this article. Prices, limits and fees come from each vendor's own pricing page as listed in October 2026. Where a vendor does not document something, we say so rather than guess. We left out tools we could not price from a page checked this month.

1. Coachful: the easiest switch for coaches who deliver programs

Coachful is a coaching platform where one subscription covers booking, payments, contracts, program delivery with habits and check-ins, courses, a community, a website with funnels and email, and an AI assistant. You get one login; your client gets one app carrying your branding. It is built for coaches who deliver programs rather than only sessions, solo coaches growing into a small team, and coaches replacing four to six tools. The company is based in Tallinn, Estonia, and holds a 4.5 Trustpilot rating from 21 reviews.

Coachful coach dashboard with a setup wizard and a list of clients with status indicators
Coachful's coach dashboard with demo data: a four-step setup wizard and 29 demo clients marked thriving, active, quiet or at risk.

The ease-of-use argument is mostly about what you do not have to build. In GoHighLevel, a "client program" is a combination of a pipeline stage, a form, a workflow and some reminder messages. In Coachful, it is a program: multi-week, with weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins, goals with progress bars and streaks. More than 40 ready-to-film program templates and 48 course templates with quizzes give you a starting point, and coaching flow and journey templates cover welcome sequences and daily rhythms.

Between sessions, the client opens the app and sees today's tasks, habits and check-in. You see the other side on the client record: goals, check-ins, habits, notes, intake answers, tags, payments and sessions, plus a status of thriving, active, quiet or at risk. That status line replaces the "build a workflow that flags inactive contacts" project many coaches attempt in GoHighLevel.

The rest of the business side is included in your Coachful membership:

  • Booking. Booking pages with availability rules, buffers, minimum notice and time-zone detection; two-way Google, Apple/iCloud and Outlook sync; built-in video or auto-created Zoom, Meet or Teams links; email reminders, plus SMS (24 hours before) and WhatsApp (1 hour before) once messaging is enabled; paid sessions, session credits and intake questions on booking. See the scheduling software page.
  • Payments. Your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account: one-time payments, subscriptions, payment plans, order bumps, coupons, refunds, Apple Pay and Google Pay, and Stripe Tax. Coachful takes a 0% platform fee (since August 2026), so you pay only processing.
  • Agreements. Coaching agreements with e-signature, sent before the first call and stored on the client record.
  • Marketing. A section-based website builder with 30 designed homepage templates, blog, custom domain and an Import website option; booking, application, lead-magnet and checkout funnels with pixels and UTM tracking; email lists, broadcasts and multi-step sequences with triggers, delays, branching and A/B splits.
  • Community and groups. A feed, group chat, direct messages and video events, with cohort groups created automatically when someone enrolls in a program.
  • Michelle, the AI assistant. Works from your live practice data: builds programs, drafts emails, summarizes recorded sessions and briefs you before each call. Questions and planning are included; confirmed builds and changes use AI credits.

Here is a short walkthrough of onboarding inside Coachful:

Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. Most "easier" tools are only easier once someone has set them up. From Create > We'll build it for you · FREE, you describe what you want: a website, funnel, sales page, program, course outline, coaching flow, form, email sequence, lead quiz, webinar page or automation. Attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files (logos, brand guides, copy, documents), and the Coachful team builds it inside your own account, usually within about 24 hours. Nothing is invented: no fake credentials, testimonials or prices, and gaps are left for you to fill. A business mentor for beauty professionals, for example, got a 12-week mentorship sales page, a free start-up-guide funnel and rewritten follow-up emails. Read more about the free white-glove service.

Coachful Create page with the We will build it for you card
The Create page in Coachful with the free "We'll build it for you" card.

On top of that, your clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding, so the move from GoHighLevel is not a weekend of CSV wrangling.

What Coachful does not do, and this matters for GoHighLevel users specifically: there is no multi-stage sales deal board for large teams, and no Salesforce or HubSpot integration. There are no routing forms that pick a host from form answers, no PayPal, and no permanent free plan. It is not HIPAA-certified, so clinical records and insurance billing belong elsewhere. The client app ships under the Coachful listing with your branding, not under your own App Store account. And it is not a white-label agency reseller; if SaaS Mode is your business model, stay on GoHighLevel.

Price: flat monthly plans where lower plans cap the number of clients and Pro is unlimited; team plans add coach seats (Current plans: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients). Monthly plans cancel in one click, and a free trial is available. Compare it head to head on our Coachful vs GoHighLevel page.

Choose Coachful if your clients need structure between sessions and you would rather coach than maintain automations.

2. Systeme.io: the cheapest way to simplify your marketing stack

Systeme.io is the closest thing to "GoHighLevel's marketing side, with fewer knobs." It is a low-cost all-in-one marketing suite: funnels, email, courses, a community, a blog and an affiliate program, with 0% transaction fees on every plan including the free one.

Systeme.io homepage promoting its all-in-one tool for funnels, email and online courses
Systeme.io's homepage in October 2026.

For a coach leaving GoHighLevel, its appeal is that the builder covers the funnel-and-email core without telecom metering or add-on sprawl. As listed in October 2026, the Free plan includes 2,000 contacts, 3 funnels, 1 course, 500 students, 1 blog, 1 custom domain, 1 automation rule and 1 email campaign. Startup is $17 a month (5,000 contacts, 10 funnels, 5 courses), Webinar is $47 a month (10,000 contacts, 50 funnels, 20 courses), and Unlimited is $97 a month with unlimited contacts, funnels, courses and automation rules. The free plan never expires and no credit card is required. Systeme.io shows a 4.9 rating from 8,696 Trustpilot reviews (seen October 25, 2026).

What it does not replace: GoHighLevel's calendars. Systeme.io has no native 1:1 scheduling with client records, so you would add a separate booking tool. It also has no habits, check-ins or client programs, and its course and community features are basic, with no branded mobile app. Coaches who mainly ran lead magnets and nurture emails in GoHighLevel will feel at home quickly; coaches who ran their whole client roster there will feel the gap.

The free plan's single automation rule and single email campaign are tight. Expect to move to Startup or Webinar as soon as you run more than one sequence. Our Systeme.io alternatives guide covers where coaches usually outgrow it.

Pick it over Coachful if you mostly need cheap funnels and email for list building, and your coaching sessions already run through a separate scheduler you like.

3. Kajabi: a polished knowledge-business platform

Kajabi trades GoHighLevel's breadth for polish. It is a course, community, website, funnel and email platform for selling knowledge products, and coaches who sell courses or memberships alongside sessions often find it easier to keep tidy than a GoHighLevel sub-account.

Kajabi homepage promoting its platform for courses, communities and coaching products
Kajabi's homepage in October 2026.

As listed in October 2026, Basic is $179 a month ($143 a month billed annually) with 5 products, 2,500 contacts, 1 community, 1 website, 2 admin users and 0 AI credits. Growth is $249 a month ($199 annually) with 50 products, 25,000 contacts and 500 AI credits, and Pro is $499 a month ($399 annually) with unlimited products, 100,000 contacts, 3 communities and 1,000 AI credits. The standard trial is 14 days; a card is optional, and if you enter one Kajabi places an authorization hold. Some features stay locked until a paid plan is active.

Fees deserve attention. Kajabi Payments in the US charges 2.9% + $0.30 on Basic, 2.8% + $0.30 on Growth and 2.7% + $0.30 on Pro. Using a processor other than Kajabi Payments or PayPal adds an extra Kajabi fee of 2% on Basic, 1% on Growth and 0.5% on Pro.

For coaching delivery, Kajabi treats coaching as products and communities, not per-client plans. There are no habits or daily client check-ins, so 1:1 accountability still lives in messages or another tool. Kajabi shows a 3.4 rating from 2,347 Trustpilot reviews (seen October 25, 2026). For a direct comparison with the platform you are leaving, see Kajabi vs GoHighLevel.

Pick it over Coachful if courses and a paid community are the core of your revenue and 1:1 work is a small add-on.

4. Podia: the shortest learning curve on this list

Podia is a simple storefront for courses, downloads, webinars, coaching sessions and a community. Its strength is restraint: fewer settings means fewer places to get lost.

Podia homepage promoting its storefront for courses, downloads, webinars and community
Podia's homepage in October 2026.

As listed in October 2026, Mover is $49 a month ($42 annually) with 50 products, 500 videos, 25 community spaces and 100 email subscribers included, plus a 5% Podia transaction fee. Shaker is $99 a month ($84 annually) with 150 products, 1,000 videos, 100 spaces, 500 email subscribers, one assistant and a 0% Podia fee. Earthquaker is $179 a month ($150 annually) with unlimited products, videos, spaces and assistants and 1,000 email subscribers. Stripe or PayPal processing (2.9% + 30¢ standard) applies on top. The free trial is 14 days with full access and no credit card required. Podia shows a 4.1 rating from 153 Trustpilot reviews (seen October 25, 2026).

The email allowances are the catch for a GoHighLevel user. If you had a list of a few thousand contacts in GoHighLevel, Podia's 100, 500 or 1,000 included subscribers will not hold it without paying more. Podia also has no mobile app and no native video calls, and there are no habits, check-ins or per-client plans.

Where Podia shines is selling a handful of clear offers: a paid session, a mini-course, a downloadable workbook, a small community. If your GoHighLevel account mostly hosted a few checkout pages, Podia may be all you need.

Pick it over Coachful if you sell a few simple digital products and sessions, have a small email list, and value the fewest possible settings over client tracking.

5. Practice Better: structured 1:1 practice for wellness pros

Practice Better is a practice-management platform for health and wellness practitioners, and it is a direct substitute for coaches who used GoHighLevel mainly for appointments, intake forms and payments. It replaces the agency CRM with a clinical-style client portal.

Practice Better homepage promoting practice management for health and wellness professionals
Practice Better's homepage in October 2026.

From its pricing page checked on October 27, 2026: Starter is $35 a month billed monthly ($25 a month billed annually) for up to 30 clients with 2 practitioner licenses and 1 GB storage. Professional is $69 a month ($59 annually) for up to 300 clients with 1 practitioner license, custom branding and group classes. Plus is $99 a month ($89 annually) with unlimited clients, 3 practitioner licenses, self-paced programs and 750 SMS a month. Team is $155 a month ($145 annually) for group practices. A free Sprout plan exists for students and recent grads with up to 3 clients. Paid plans have a 14-day trial; the Team plan has 30 days.

Its advantage over GoHighLevel for health-adjacent coaches is compliance. Practice Better lists HIPAA, PIPEDA and GDPR compliance, telehealth video and secure messaging, where GoHighLevel charges a $297 monthly add-on for HIPAA below Enterprise. It also documents add-ons such as an AI Charting Assistant from $10 a month per practitioner and a Connector Hub at $49.

The trade-off is marketing. Practice Better is built around running a practice, not filling one, so it does not replace GoHighLevel's funnels, website builder or broad email automation. Credits and add-ons start on Professional, and self-paced programs sit on Plus, so the plan you need depends on which features you lean on.

Pick it over Coachful if you need HIPAA-compliant records or work alongside clinicians, and you already have a website and marketing setup you are happy to keep.

Which one looks like you?

Coachful builds your coaching website from a few answers, in a design chosen for your niche, with programs, booking and payments ready behind it.

Build your platform

6. Kartra: GoHighLevel's marketing range in one dashboard

Kartra is an all-in-one marketing suite: pages, funnels, email and SMS, memberships, calendars and a helpdesk. It covers a lot of what GoHighLevel covers, but in one account rather than agency sub-accounts, so there is no agency layer to manage.

Kartra homepage promoting its all-in-one marketing platform with pages, email and memberships
Kartra's homepage in October 2026.

As listed in October 2026, Essentials is $59 a month ($52 annually) with 500 contacts, 5 pages, 1 product, 1 membership or course, 10,000 emails a month and a 5% transaction fee. Starter is $119 a month ($99 annually) with 2,500 contacts, unlimited pages, products and memberships, unlimited email and SMS, 5 team members and a 0% fee. Growth is $229 a month ($189 annually) with 12,500 contacts and 3 domains, and Professional is $549 a month ($429 annually) with 25,000 contacts. There is a 14-day free trial and a 30-day money-back guarantee. Kartra shows a 3.2 rating from 129 Trustpilot reviews (seen October 25, 2026).

For a GoHighLevel switcher, Starter is the realistic plan: Essentials caps you at 500 contacts and takes 5% of sales. On Starter, unlimited email and SMS removes the metered-usage worry that pushes some coaches off GoHighLevel.

The limits mirror GoHighLevel's on the coaching side: no client habits, check-ins or per-client coaching plans, and no mobile app for students or admins according to older vendor documentation. Funnels and memberships are also not portable to other platforms, so you would be rebuilding again if you ever leave.

Pick it over Coachful if you want GoHighLevel-style marketing (including SMS) in a single account and your clients do not need a daily program between sessions.

7. ClickFunnels: funnels first, everything else second

ClickFunnels is a funnel and sales-page builder with email, courses, a community, a store and an appointments app. If the part of GoHighLevel you actually used was the funnel builder, ClickFunnels gives you that focus without the CRM sprawl around it.

ClickFunnels homepage promoting its funnel builder for selling products and services online
ClickFunnels's homepage in October 2026.

As listed in October 2026, Launch is $97 a month ($81 annually) with 10K contacts, 50K emails a month, 1 workspace, 2 team members, 5 domains, 3 courses, 3 communities and 1 store. Scale is $197 a month ($164 annually) with 75K contacts, 5 workspaces and unlimited domains, and Optimize is $297 a month ($248 annually) with 150K contacts and 10 workspaces. Dominate is listed at $499.75 a month on annual billing. ClickFunnels takes a 0% commission on sales; processor fees apply. There is a 14-day trial and a 30-day money-back guarantee, and it shows a 4.7 rating from 2,512 Trustpilot reviews (seen October 25, 2026).

The Launch price matches GoHighLevel Starter, so the switch is about focus, not savings. You give up GoHighLevel's two-way SMS and pipeline depth; you gain a tool whose whole interface is organized around getting a funnel live.

For coaching delivery, there are no client habits, check-ins or structured 1:1 programs, and funnels are proprietary and not portable. Our ClickFunnels vs GoHighLevel comparison and ClickFunnels alternatives guide go into more depth.

Pick it over Coachful if high-volume paid traffic into multi-step sales funnels is your growth engine and client delivery happens somewhere else.

8. Stan Store: a store you can launch from your phone

Stan Store is a link-in-bio storefront for selling digital products, courses, memberships and paid calls. It is the opposite of GoHighLevel in scope, and for a coach whose clients find them on Instagram or TikTok, that narrowness is the point.

Stan Store homepage promoting its link-in-bio store for creators selling products and calls
Stan Store's homepage in October 2026.

As listed in October 2026, Creator is $29 a month ($25 annually) with unlimited products and customers in one store. Creator Pro is $99 a month ($79 annually) and adds email marketing, upsells, discount codes and affiliates. Stan takes a 0% fee ("keep 100% of every sale"); standard Stripe or PayPal processing applies. There is a 14-day free trial on either plan, with the first month charged when the trial ends. Stan Store shows a 4.7 rating from 2,205 Trustpilot reviews (seen October 25, 2026).

The catch for a GoHighLevel user is the email gap. On Creator, there is no email marketing at all; you need Creator Pro to send the nurture sequences you probably ran in GoHighLevel. Stan also has no contracts, invoices or client records, it is not a CRM, and there are no programs with client tasks, habits or check-ins. No team seats are advertised.

So Stan works best as a front door: a simple place for followers to book a paid call or buy a guide. See our Stan Store alternatives roundup for what coaches pair it with.

Pick it over Coachful if nearly all your sales come from social media and you only need a fast storefront, not a client back office.

9. Skool: one group, three tabs, almost no setup

Skool combines a community, a classroom and a calendar inside one group, with gamified leaderboards. Its scope is deliberately narrow, so there is far less to configure than in a GoHighLevel sub-account.

Skool homepage promoting its community platform with classroom, calendar and leaderboards
Skool's homepage in October 2026.

As listed in October 2026, Hobby is $9 a month ($7.50 annually) and Pro is $99 a month ($82.50 annually), both with unlimited members, courses, videos and live calls. The difference is fees: Hobby takes 10% + 30¢ on every transaction, while Pro charges 2.9% + 30¢ up to $899 and 3.9% + 30¢ above $900. Payments run only through Skool Payments, fees are non-refundable, and payouts arrive weekly. The pricing page offers a free try but does not state the trial length. Skool shows a 1.6 rating from 54 Trustpilot reviews (seen October 25, 2026).

Skool is easier than GoHighLevel because it does less. There is no custom-domain website, no funnels, no email automation and no public API. There are no 1:1 client records, intake forms, habits or check-ins. If you ran lead generation through GoHighLevel, you would need something else for that job.

Pick it over Coachful if your offer is a community-led group program, your audience already knows where to find you, and you want the simplest possible member experience.

10. Thinkific: a course engine for education-led coaches

Thinkific is a mature course platform with communities, memberships and coaching or webinar products. For a coach whose GoHighLevel account mostly hosted a course, it is a cleaner home for that content.

Thinkific homepage promoting its platform for building and selling online courses
Thinkific's homepage in October 2026.

As listed in October 2026, Start is $109 a month ($82 annually) with 10,000 current students, 2 admins, 1 community with 10 spaces and 200 GB of monthly video bandwidth. Grow is $219 a month ($164 annually) with 6 admins and 3 communities, and Expand is $499 a month ($374 annually) with 15 admins and 10 communities. Prices rose about 10% on August 13, 2026. Every self-serve plan has a 30-day free trial, the longest on this list. There is a 0% Thinkific transaction fee on Thinkific Payments; third-party gateways carry an extra per-plan fee not listed on the page. Thinkific shows a 1.8 rating from 868 Trustpilot reviews (seen October 25, 2026).

The coaching gaps are clear: no built-in 1:1 scheduling (coaching relies on external booking links), no client habits, daily check-ins or per-client plans, and the branded mobile app is a $199 monthly add-on. It is not a marketing CRM either, so you would keep a separate email and funnel tool. Our Thinkific alternatives article covers the trade-offs.

Pick it over Coachful if you run a course business with thousands of students and occasional coaching calls, and course depth matters more than client follow-through.

How do the features compare side by side?

The short answer: only Coachful combines 1:1 booking, between-session programs with habits and check-ins, and built-in marketing. Everyone else covers a slice.

Two notes. Coachful's 0% platform fee still leaves Stripe or Razorpay processing, as with every tool here. And "Not documented" means the vendor's pricing page did not cover it, not that the feature is missing.

What will each tool cost at 5, 15 and 40 clients?

For most of these tools the bill does not depend on client count; it depends on contacts, products or features. Coachful and Practice Better are the two that tie price to clients, which makes them easier to forecast for a 1:1 practice.

How would a coach leaving GoHighLevel set up Coachful, step by step?

The fastest route is to let Coachful import and build the pieces, then spend your own time on the program itself. Here is an illustrative example: a confidence coach who ran a 12-week 1:1 program and a lead magnet in GoHighLevel.

A laptop with Coachful's coaching flows library and a phone showing a client habit tracker
Coachful's coaching flows library on the laptop and a client's habit tracker on the phone.
  1. Export from GoHighLevel before you cancel. Contacts (with custom fields), opportunities and conversations export to CSV. Funnels, sites and workflows only move as snapshots inside HighLevel, so screenshot or copy the text of any page you want to keep. Data becomes inaccessible after cancellation, so do this first.
  2. Start the trial and ask for the import. During onboarding, Coachful imports your clients, programs and content for you. Hand over the CSV and your program outline.
  3. Request the website and funnel build. From Create > We'll build it for you, ask for a homepage, a "work with me" page and a lead-magnet funnel. Attach your old GoHighLevel page copy, your logo and your brand colours (up to 10 files and 8 links). Or pick one of the 30 homepage templates or use Import website yourself.
  4. Connect the essentials. Link your Stripe Connect account, connect Google, Apple/iCloud or Outlook calendar, and choose built-in video or auto-created Zoom, Meet or Teams links.
  5. Build the 12-week program. Start from one of the 40+ program templates, or ask Michelle to draft it. Set weekly goals, daily tasks and two or three habits, and add a morning and evening check-in from the coaching flows library.
  6. Set up the offer. Create the program offer with a payment plan, attach your coaching agreement for e-signature, and add intake questions to the booking page.
  7. Rebuild the nurture email. Recreate your GoHighLevel workflow as an email sequence with triggers, delays and branching. Keep only the steps that still earn their place.
  8. Move existing clients over. Invite current clients into the app, explain where their tasks and check-ins now live, and watch the thriving, active, quiet and at-risk statuses for the first few weeks.

Here is how the check-ins look from the coach's side:

What mistakes should you avoid when leaving GoHighLevel?

The most common mistake is trying to recreate your GoHighLevel setup exactly instead of asking what you actually used. A few others to watch for:

  • Cancelling before exporting. GoHighLevel data becomes inaccessible after cancellation, and only contacts, opportunities and conversations export to CSV. Export, then cancel.
  • Rebuilding every workflow. Many GoHighLevel workflows exist to fake features (reminders, check-in nudges, inactivity flags) that a coaching platform includes. List your workflows and cross out the ones the new tool does natively.
  • Picking on plan price alone. A $29 storefront plus a scheduler plus a contract tool plus an email tool can cost more than one platform, and four logins are not easier than one.
  • Ignoring transaction fees. Podia's Mover, Kartra's Essentials and Skool's Hobby each take a cut of sales. On a program priced in the thousands, that fee can exceed the plan price.
  • Leaving recurring billing in limbo. If clients pay monthly through GoHighLevel, plan when each subscription moves and tell clients before their next charge, so nobody is double-billed or dropped.
  • Dropping SMS without checking. If text reminders drove your show-up rate, confirm the new tool sends them. In Coachful, SMS and WhatsApp reminders work once messaging is enabled.
  • Assuming HIPAA carries over. If you paid for GoHighLevel's HIPAA add-on, your new tool must cover it too. Coachful is not HIPAA-certified; Practice Better lists HIPAA compliance.

What is our verdict?

Coachful is the easiest GoHighLevel alternative for coaches who deliver programs, because the coaching journey (booking, payment, agreement, program, habits, check-ins, community and follow-up) works without building automations, and the free white-glove service handles the website and funnels for you. It is not the right pick if you need a multi-stage deal board, HubSpot or Salesforce sync, HIPAA, or an agency reseller model.

If you only need cheap funnels and email, Systeme.io is the simplest step down. Kajabi suits course-and-community businesses, Podia suits a handful of simple offers, and Practice Better suits wellness practitioners who need HIPAA. Kartra and ClickFunnels keep the marketing focus with less sprawl, Stan Store is a quick social storefront, Skool is the lightest community, and Thinkific is the course specialist. Frequently asked questions

What is the easiest GoHighLevel alternative for coaches?

For coaches who run 1:1 or group programs, Coachful is the easiest because booking, payments, contracts, programs with habits and check-ins, and marketing come ready to use under one login. For coaches who only need funnels and email, Systeme.io is simpler. The right answer depends on whether client delivery between sessions matters to you.

Is GoHighLevel too complicated for a solo coach?

It can be. GoHighLevel is built for agencies, so a solo coach configures calendars, pipelines, workflows, funnels and messaging separately. Coaches comfortable with automation, or who hire a builder, use it well; coaches who want to start coaching this week often find it heavy.

What does Coachful's free white-glove service include?

The Coachful team builds a website, funnel, sales page, program, course outline, coaching flow, form, email sequence, lead quiz, webinar page or automation inside your own account, usually within about 24 hours. You can attach up to 8 links and 10 files. It does not include recording videos, logo design, ad management or ongoing marketing.

Can I move my GoHighLevel contacts to another platform?

Yes. GoHighLevel exports contacts with custom fields, opportunities and conversations to CSV. Funnels, websites and workflows do not export outside HighLevel, so copy any page text you want to keep before cancelling, since data becomes inaccessible afterwards.

Which GoHighLevel alternative is cheapest?

Systeme.io has a free plan and a $17 Startup plan, and Skool Hobby is $9 a month with a 10% transaction fee, as listed in October 2026. Cheapest on paper is not cheapest overall, though: add the scheduler, contract and delivery tools you will need on top.

Does Coachful have SMS like GoHighLevel?

Coachful sends SMS session reminders 24 hours before and WhatsApp reminders 1 hour before once messaging is enabled, alongside email reminders. It is not a two-way SMS marketing platform in the way GoHighLevel is, so coaches who run SMS campaigns should weigh that.

Does Coachful integrate with HubSpot or Salesforce?

No. Coachful has no HubSpot or Salesforce integration and no multi-stage sales deal board for large teams. It connects to Google, Apple and Outlook calendars, Zoom, Meet, Teams, Stripe, Razorpay, Zapier, Meta Pixel and GA4.

Is there a HIPAA-compliant alternative to GoHighLevel?

Practice Better lists HIPAA, PIPEDA and GDPR compliance on its pricing page, and GoHighLevel offers HIPAA as a $297 monthly add-on below Enterprise. Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and is not meant for clinical records, so health coaches working with medical data should choose accordingly.

Will my clients need a separate app?

In Coachful, clients use one app that carries your branding, where they see sessions, programs, habits, check-ins, courses and the community. It ships under the Coachful listing rather than your own App Store account. GoHighLevel's Branded Client Portal App is a $49 monthly add-on per sub-account.

How long does it take to switch from GoHighLevel?

It depends on how much you built. In Coachful, your clients, programs and content are imported during onboarding, and white-glove builds usually arrive within about 24 hours, so the main work left is telling clients and moving recurring payments over. Start with the trial and request the builds on day one.
