12 Best Systeme Io Alternatives (2026 Guide)

12 Best Systeme Io Alternatives (2026 Guide)

The best systeme io alternatives depend on one question: is your business mostly selling to strangers, or mostly serving people who already paid you? Systeme.io is built for the first job. Its free plan, 0% transaction fees and simple funnel builder make it one of the cheapest ways to capture leads and sell a course. Once you have 15 coaching clients, though, much of your week goes into booking calls, sending agreements, tracking homework and checking in between sessions, and Systeme.io does not document tools for any of that.

For coaches who sell programs and want the whole client journey in one login, our pick is Coachful. We make Coachful, so weigh that, and read the comparison tables before you decide. The other 11 tools below are ranked for coaches leaving Systeme.io, with each vendor's price as listed in October 2026, the limits that matter and a plain "pick it over Coachful if" line at the end of every entry.

If you want the full Systeme.io picture first, our Systeme.io review covers the product and our Systeme.io pricing breakdown walks through every plan.

What do coaches actually need from software that Systeme.io does not cover?

Coaches need two systems: one that brings clients in and one that serves them after they pay. Systeme.io handles the first well. The second is where coaches end up adding three or four other tools.

Here is what Systeme.io lists on its pricing page in October 2026. The Free plan costs $0 and includes 2,000 contacts, 3 funnels, 1 course, 500 students, 1 blog, 1 affiliate program, 1 custom domain, 1 automation rule and 1 email campaign. Startup is $17 a month for 5,000 contacts, 10 funnels and 5 courses. Webinar is $47 a month for 10,000 contacts, 50 funnels, 20 courses and evergreen webinars. Unlimited is $97 a month and removes the caps. Systeme.io charges 0% transaction fees on every plan, with Stripe or PayPal processing on top. On Trustpilot it showed 4.9 from 8,696 reviews when we looked on 25 October 2026, which tells you buyers are happy with what it does.

Systeme.io's pricing page in October 2026.

What it does not document is the delivery side of coaching. Our September 2026 profile notes no native 1:1 scheduling tied to client records, no habits or check-ins, basic community and course features, and no branded mobile app. Contacts export to CSV through an emailed link that stays valid for 3 days, while courses and pages are not bulk-exportable.

Map that against a normal coaching week and the gaps are obvious:

  • Booking with context. A discovery call or a paid session should land on the client's record with their intake answers, not in a separate calendar app.
  • Agreements before the first call. A signed coaching agreement sets scope, cancellation terms and confidentiality. See our guide to coaching contracts for what to include.
  • Work between sessions. Weekly goals, daily tasks, habits and short check-ins are where most of the change happens. A course player is not built for that.
  • One place for the client. Clients who need four logins (course, calendar, payments, chat) stop logging in.
  • Compliant marketing. If you email a US list, the FTC's CAN-SPAM compliance guide requires a valid postal address, a clear opt-out and opt-outs honored within 10 business days. Testimonials on sales pages fall under the FTC's Endorsement Guides, and fake or conditioned reviews are banned by the Consumer Reviews and Testimonials Rule.
  • Clear scope. Coaching is not therapy or medical care. If a client describes symptoms of a mental health condition, an eating disorder or a medical issue, refer them to a licensed professional, and pick software that matches the work you actually do. Clinical record-keeping needs clinical software.

Which Systeme.io alternatives are best for coaches at a glance?

Ranked on four things: one login for the whole client journey, delivery between sessions, total stack cost, and setup effort (including whether someone will build it for you free).

Thinking of launching your coaching business?

Answer a few questions and Coachful builds it around you: your website, programs, booking and payments. Ready in minutes.

Build your platform

How did we choose and rank these tools?

We pictured one realistic coach and asked what each tool would cost and leave out for them. The example: a coach with 15 one-to-one clients, one 8-week group program for 20 people, a free lead magnet and a weekly newsletter. Today that coach runs Systeme.io for the funnel, course and emails, plus a separate scheduler, an e-signature tool and either a habit app or a shared spreadsheet for homework.

For each alternative we checked four things against that scenario:

  1. One login for the client journey. Can a stranger opt in, book, sign, pay and then do the program in the same place?
  2. Between-session delivery. Does the tool document habits, check-ins, weekly goals or per-client plans, or only course lessons?
  3. Total stack cost. Plan price plus platform fees plus the tools you would still need to add.
  4. Setup effort. How much rebuilding lands on the coach, and whether anyone helps.

Prices come from each vendor's pricing page as listed in October 2026 (Practice Better's was read on 25 October 2026). We did not run paid accounts on every product; feature notes reflect what vendors document and what public reviewers report. Where a page does not state something, we say so.

1. Coachful: the full coaching business in one login

Coachful's Offers page on a laptop and a client's coaching hub on a tablet in a sunlit home office
Coachful's Offers page on the laptop and a client's coaching hub with the next session on the tablet.

Coachful is a coaching platform where one subscription covers booking, payments, coaching agreements, program delivery with habits and check-ins, courses, a community, a website with funnels and email, and an AI assistant. The coach has one login and the client gets one branded app. It is built for coaches who deliver programs rather than just sessions, solo coaches growing into a small team, and anyone replacing four to six tools. The company is based in Tallinn, Estonia, and shows 4.5 on Trustpilot from 21 reviews.

For someone leaving Systeme.io, the part that carries over is marketing. Coachful has a section-based website builder with a blog, custom domain, SEO settings and 30 designed homepage templates, plus booking, application, lead-magnet and checkout funnels with pixels and UTM tracking. Email covers lists, broadcasts and multi-step sequences with triggers, delays, branching and A/B splits. There is also a link-in-bio page that sells. If your Systeme.io setup is a lead magnet, a sales page and a nurture sequence, you can rebuild all three here. Our coach website builder page shows the templates.

The part Systeme.io never had is delivery. Programs run over multiple weeks with weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins, goals with progress bars and streaks. Cohort groups are created automatically when someone enrolls in a program, so a group program gets its own space without extra setup.

Clients see their program, their habits and their next session in your branded home and app. Courses (modules, lessons, drip, completion tracking), downloads, videos, books, events and bundles are delivered into the same place, so a course buyer and a 1:1 client never need different logins.

Booking pages handle availability rules, buffers, minimum notice and time-zone detection, with two-way Google, Apple/iCloud and Outlook calendar sync. Sessions use built-in video or auto-created Zoom, Meet or Teams links. Reminders go by email, and once messaging is enabled by SMS 24 hours before and WhatsApp 1 hour before. You can sell paid sessions or session credits and ask intake questions at booking. Learn more on our scheduling software page.

Payments run through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account: one-time, subscriptions, payment plans, order bumps, coupons, refunds, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Stripe Tax, with an invoice per transaction plus manual invoices. Since August 2026 Coachful takes a 0% platform fee, so you pay only Stripe or Razorpay processing. Coaching agreements with e-signature go out before the first call and are stored on the client record, next to goals, check-ins, habits, notes, intake answers, tags, payments and sessions. Each client carries a status of thriving, active, quiet or at risk, so you can see who needs a nudge.

Michelle, the built-in AI assistant, works from your live practice data. It builds programs, drafts emails and content, summarizes recorded sessions and briefs you before each session. It can also give private feedback on your own coaching against ICF Core Competencies 3 to 8. Questions and planning are included in your Coachful membership; confirmed builds and changes use AI credits. A separate AI Coach lets selected clients chat with an AI version of you between sessions, configured by you. ICF hour tracking counts hours and distinct clients against ACC, PCC and MCC thresholds and exports a client coaching log.

This walkthrough shows how a program is built and what the client sees:

Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. On every plan, you can open Create and choose "We'll build it for you · FREE", describe what you want, attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files (logos, photos, brand guides, copy, documents; no video), and the Coachful team builds it inside your own account, usually within about 24 hours. That covers a website, a funnel, an offer or sales page, a program, a course outline and written material, an email sequence, a lead quiz, a form or worksheet, an event page or an automation. Nothing gets invented: no fake credentials, testimonials or prices, and gaps are left for you to fill. It does not include recording videos, logo design, ad management or ongoing marketing. One recent build: a business mentor for beauty professionals got a 12-week mentorship sales page, a free start-up-guide funnel and rewritten follow-up emails. Another, a leadership coach with a Squarespace renewal days away, got one clean homepage with a repeated "talk with me" button. More examples are in our post on the free white-glove service.

Coachful Create page showing the We will build it for you card
The Create page in Coachful, with the card that requests a free build from the Coachful team.

What Coachful does not do matters just as much. It is not HIPAA-certified and offers no BAA, so it is not for clinical records or insurance billing. There is no PayPal and no permanent free plan. The client app ships under the Coachful listing with your branding, not under your own App Store account. There are no Garmin, Fitbit, Whoop or Oura integrations, no multi-stage sales deal board for large teams, and no Salesforce or HubSpot integration. Affiliate tracking records links, clicks, conversions and revenue, but payouts are recorded manually rather than sent by Coachful.

Pricing is a set of flat monthly plans. Lower plans cap the number of clients, Pro is unlimited, team plans add coach seats, and monthly plans cancel in one click (current plans: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients). To start, take the free trial, connect Stripe or Razorpay, and request a white-glove build of whatever you had on Systeme.io. Clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding. A dedicated comparison lives on our Systeme.io alternative page.

2. Kajabi: the polished choice for course and community sellers

Kajabi homepage promoting its platform for courses, communities and coaching businesses
Kajabi's homepage in October 2026.

Kajabi sits closest to Systeme.io in spirit: courses, community, website, funnels and email under one roof, aimed at people selling knowledge products. The difference is polish and price. As listed in October 2026, Basic is $179 a month ($143 a month billed annually) for 5 products, 2,500 contacts, 1 community, 1 website, 2 admin users and 0 AI credits. Growth is $249 a month ($199 annual) for 50 products, 25,000 contacts and 500 AI credits. Pro is $499 a month ($399 annual) with unlimited products and 100,000 contacts.

Fees need a careful read. Kajabi Payments in the US charges 2.9% + $0.30 on Basic, falling slightly on higher plans. Use another processor (other than PayPal) and Kajabi adds its own fee of 2% on Basic, 1% on Growth or 0.5% on Pro. The standard trial is 14 days; a card is optional, but if you enter one Kajabi places an authorization hold and charges when the trial ends. Bulk contact import, test emails and some automations stay locked until you activate a paid plan.

For coaching, Kajabi treats clients as buyers of products and members of communities rather than people with individual plans. There are no habits or daily check-ins documented. Public reviewers on Trustpilot gave it 3.4 from 2,347 reviews when we checked on 25 October 2026.

Moving from Systeme.io's $17 Startup plan to Kajabi Basic is roughly a tenfold jump in monthly price for a similar marketing toolset plus a more refined course and community experience. Our Kajabi alternatives guide covers the trade-offs in more depth.

Pick it over Coachful if you mainly sell courses and memberships to large audiences, want Kajabi's ecosystem of templates and integrations, and rarely run 1:1 programs.

3. Kartra: more marketing channels, same funnel mindset

Kartra is an all-in-one marketing suite with pages, funnels, email and SMS, memberships, calendars and a helpdesk. Coaches who like Systeme.io's approach but want SMS and a built-in calendar often land here.

Kartra homepage introducing its all-in-one marketing suite for pages, email and memberships
Kartra's homepage in October 2026.

Prices as listed in October 2026: Essentials is $59 a month ($52 annual) for 500 contacts, 5 pages, 1 product, 1 membership or course, 10,000 emails a month and 30 AI uses, with a 5% transaction fee. Starter is $119 a month ($99 annual) for 2,500 contacts, unlimited pages, products and memberships, unlimited email and SMS, and 5 team members, with no transaction fee. Growth is $229 a month ($189 annual) for 12,500 contacts and 10 team members. Professional is $549 a month ($429 annual) for 25,000 contacts. Every plan has a 14-day trial and a 30-day money-back guarantee.

The 500-contact cap on Essentials is the catch for anyone coming from Systeme.io's free 2,000. Kartra also documents no habits, check-ins or per-client coaching plans, and our September 2026 profile notes there is no mobile app for students or admins. Funnels and memberships built in Kartra are not portable to other platforms, so a later move means rebuilding. Trustpilot showed 3.2 from 129 reviews on 25 October 2026.

Pick it over Coachful if SMS marketing and a helpdesk inside your funnel tool matter more to you than a client app with programs and habits.

4. ClickFunnels: when the funnel is the business

ClickFunnels homepage introducing its funnel and sales page builder
ClickFunnels's homepage in October 2026.

ClickFunnels built the category Systeme.io competes in. It is a funnel and sales-page builder that now adds email, courses, community, a store and an appointments app. The Launch plan is $97 a month ($81 annual) for 10,000 contacts, 50,000 emails a month, 2 team members, 5 domains, 3 courses and 3 communities. Scale is $197 a month ($164 annual) for 75,000 contacts and 6 courses or communities. Optimize is $297 a month ($248 annual), and Dominate is listed at $499.75 a month billed annually.

ClickFunnels takes 0% commission on sales, so you pay only your processor. The trial is 14 days with a 30-day money-back guarantee. Trustpilot showed 4.7 from 2,512 reviews on 25 October 2026.

Where it falls short for coaches is the same place Systeme.io does: no habits, check-ins or structured 1:1 coaching programs are documented. Three courses on the entry plan is tight if you sell several programs, and funnels are proprietary, so they do not move with you. If you are deciding between the two directly, read Systeme.io vs ClickFunnels, or browse our ClickFunnels alternatives roundup.

Pick it over Coachful if you run paid traffic into complex multi-step funnels, split test constantly, and deliver coaching somewhere else.

5. Podia: a friendly storefront with a fee trap on the entry plan

Podia homepage introducing its storefront for courses, downloads and community
Podia's homepage in October 2026.

Podia keeps things simple. You get a storefront for courses, downloads, webinars, coaching sessions and a community, and the editor is easy to learn. The three plans as listed in October 2026 are Mover at $49 a month ($42 annual), Shaker at $99 a month ($84 annual) and Earthquaker at $179 a month ($150 annual). Mover includes 50 products, 500 videos, 25 community spaces and 100 email subscribers. Shaker raises that to 150 products and 500 email subscribers and adds an assistant. Earthquaker removes product limits and includes 1,000 email subscribers.

Two numbers stand out for a Systeme.io user. First, Mover charges a 5% Podia fee on sales, on top of Stripe or PayPal processing; Shaker and Earthquaker charge 0%. Second, the included email allowances (100, 500 and 1,000 subscribers) are small compared with Systeme.io's 2,000 contacts on the free plan. Our September 2026 profile also notes no mobile app and no native video calls. There are no client habits, check-ins or per-client plans. The 14-day trial needs no card. Trustpilot showed 4.1 from 153 reviews on 25 October 2026.

Pick it over Coachful if you sell a handful of digital products and occasional paid calls, have a small list, and value a very simple editor above program delivery.

6. Practice Better: built for practitioners, not marketers

Practice Better calls itself an all-in-one EHR, and that framing tells you who it is for: health coaches, nutritionists, dietitians and other practitioners who need charting, protocols, telehealth and compliance. We read its pricing page on 25 October 2026.

Practice Better homepage introducing its practice management platform for health practitioners
Practice Better's homepage in October 2026.

The free Sprout plan supports 3 clients. Starter is $35 a month ($25 a month billed annually) for 1 practitioner and 10 clients, with scheduling, telehealth video, billing and payments, secure messaging, a client portal and forms. Professional is $69 a month ($59 annual) for 300 clients and adds group scheduling, group messaging, fixed-date programs and payment plans. Plus is $99 a month ($89 annual) for unlimited clients and 3 admin licenses, and adds evergreen and self-paced programs, portal branding and 750 SMS reminders a month. Team is $155 a month ($145 annual) with 2 practitioner licenses (up to 200 at $50 each) and free migration. Paid plans have a 14-day trial; Team gets 30 days.

The page lists HIPAA, PIPEDA and GDPR compliance, along with billing and insurance and ePrescribe features. That is the main reason to choose it. It does not list funnels, a website builder or email sequences, so a Systeme.io user would keep a marketing tool alongside it. Note that portal branding only starts on Plus. Our Practice Better alternatives guide compares it with other practice tools.

Pick it over Coachful if you work in a clinical or regulated setting, need a BAA, charting or insurance billing, and are happy to run marketing in a separate tool.

Which one looks like you?

Coachful builds your coaching website from a few answers, in a design chosen for your niche, with programs, booking and payments ready behind it.

7. GoHighLevel: an agency engine coaches can bend to fit

HighLevel homepage introducing its all-in-one marketing CRM for agencies
GoHighLevel's homepage in October 2026.

HighLevel (often called GoHighLevel) is an agency-first marketing CRM: funnels, websites, calendars, SMS and email, invoicing, contracts, courses and communities, organized into sub-accounts. As listed in October 2026, Starter is $97 a month ($80.83 annual) for 3 sub-accounts with unlimited users and contacts. Unlimited is $297 a month ($247.50 annual) with unlimited sub-accounts, and Agency Pro is $497 a month ($414.17 annual).

The plan price is not the whole bill. SMS, email, phone numbers and AI are metered and billed separately, with per-unit rates on separate guides rather than the pricing page. HIPAA support is a $297-a-month add-on. The 14-day trial bills automatically at the end unless you cancel, and usage fees can apply during the trial. Trustpilot showed 4.9 from 15,250 reviews on 25 October 2026.

For a solo coach, the trouble is shape rather than power. HighLevel has no habit tracking, client check-ins or coaching-program engine; you would simulate them with workflows and forms. There are no built-in video rooms, only Zoom and Google Meet links. Many coaches find the setup heavy for one practice. See our GoHighLevel alternatives post for lighter options.

Pick it over Coachful if you run an agency or several brands, need unlimited contacts across sub-accounts, and have the time or staff to build your own workflows.

8. Thinkific: a deeper course platform at a higher price

Thinkific homepage introducing its platform for selling online courses and communities
Thinkific's homepage in October 2026.

Thinkific is a course platform first, with communities, memberships and coaching or webinar products added around it. Prices rose about 10% on 13 August 2026. As listed in October 2026, Start is $109 a month ($82 annual) for 10,000 current students, 2 admins, 1 community and 5 live community events. Grow is $219 a month ($164 annual) for 6 admins and 3 communities. Expand is $499 a month ($374 annual). A 30-day free trial covers every self-serve plan.

Using Thinkific Payments means no Thinkific transaction fee, with processing around 2.9%. Third-party Stripe or PayPal gateways carry an extra per-plan fee that the page does not quantify. The branded mobile app is a $199-a-month add-on.

For coaching, our September 2026 profile notes that 1:1 sessions rely on external booking links, and there are no client habits, daily check-ins or per-client plans. Public reviewers are unhappy: Trustpilot showed 1.8 from 868 reviews on 25 October 2026. Our Thinkific alternatives guide goes further.

Pick it over Coachful if courses are your main product, you need thousands of students and multiple admins, and your coaching is light or handled elsewhere.

9. Teachable: student apps and a cheap entry plan with a catch

Teachable homepage introducing its platform for courses and digital products
Teachable's homepage in October 2026.

Teachable is a course and digital-product platform with student mobile apps. Its Starter plan looks cheap at $39 a month ($29 annual) for 5 products and 1 admin, but it carries a 7.5% platform fee on sales. Builder at $89 a month ($69 annual) and Growth at $189 a month ($139 annual) drop that fee to 0%. Teachable Payments processing on top is 2.9% + 30¢ for US cards and 3.9% + 30¢ for international cards. Plan cards show a 7-day free trial plus a 30-day guarantee.

Run the math on Starter: a coach selling $3,000 of courses in a month pays $225 in Teachable fees alone, more than the Builder upgrade. That is an example calculation, not a typical income figure.

Teachable documents no native scheduling or calendar sync; coaching calls rely on Calendly and Zoom according to our September 2026 profile. There are no habits, check-ins or per-client plans. Trustpilot showed 3.3 from 1,110 reviews on 25 October 2026. Read our Teachable alternatives post if you are comparing course platforms.

Pick it over Coachful if you sell self-paced courses to a large audience, want dedicated student apps, and do not need booking or client programs in the same tool.

10. LearnWorlds: interactive learning with per-enrollment fees at entry

LearnWorlds pricing page with Starter, Pro Trainer and Learning Center plans in euros
LearnWorlds's pricing page in October 2026 (shows euro prices).

LearnWorlds leans toward serious e-learning: interactive video, SCORM packages, a website builder and page funnels. As listed in October 2026, Starter is $29 a month ($24 annual) for 1 admin and 1,000 active learners a month, with a $5 fee per paid enrollment. Pro Trainer is $99 a month ($79 annual) for 5 admins, 2,000 active learners, 20 SCORM packages, 15 page funnels and 2,000 mass emails a month, with no LearnWorlds fee. Learning Center is $299 a month ($249 annual). Stripe or PayPal fees of 2.9% + $0.30 apply on all plans. The 30-day trial needs no card, and a school that is not upgraded is scheduled for deletion.

Monthly active-learner caps are worth watching if you run a free course as a lead magnet, because free learners count. The branded mobile app is a separately priced add-on. LearnWorlds is not built for 1:1 client management, habits or check-ins. Public reviewers rate it well: 4.8 from 423 reviews on Trustpilot on 25 October 2026.

Pick it over Coachful if you create training for organizations that need SCORM or interactive video assessments, and coaching sessions are a small add-on.

11. Stan Store: the lightest option for selling from social media

Stan Store homepage introducing its link-in-bio storefront for creators
Stan Store's homepage in October 2026.

Stan Store is a link-in-bio storefront for digital products, courses, memberships and paid calls. If your Systeme.io use was mostly one opt-in page and one checkout shared from Instagram or TikTok, Stan covers that with less setup. Creator is $29 a month ($25 annual) with unlimited products and customers, and Creator Pro is $99 a month ($79 annual). Stan takes 0% of sales; Stripe or PayPal processing applies. The 14-day trial charges the first month when it ends.

The limits show up fast once you have clients. Email marketing, upsells, discount codes and affiliates are only on Creator Pro, so replacing Systeme.io's email means the $99 plan. Stan has no contracts, invoices or client records and is not a CRM. There are no programs with tasks, habits or check-ins, and no team seats are advertised. Trustpilot showed 4.7 from 2,205 reviews on 25 October 2026. Our Stan Store alternatives post compares similar storefronts.

Pick it over Coachful if you sell mainly to a social audience on your phone, offer low-priced products and occasional calls, and do not need a client back office.

12. Skool: one community, one classroom, very little else

Skool homepage introducing its community and classroom platform
Skool's homepage in October 2026.

Skool combines a community, a classroom and a calendar in one group, with gamified leaderboards that keep members posting. Hobby is $9 a month ($7.50 annual) and Pro is $99 a month ($82.50 annual); both include unlimited members, courses, videos and live calls.

Skool's fees are where the real cost sits. Hobby charges 10% + 30¢ on every transaction. Pro charges 2.9% + 30¢ on payments up to $899 and 3.9% + 30¢ above $900. Payments only run through Skool Payments, with weekly payouts. The pricing page did not state a trial length or card requirement when we checked.

Coming from Systeme.io, you would lose a lot: Skool has no custom-domain website, funnels, email automation or public API. There are no 1:1 client records, intake forms, habits or check-ins. Trustpilot showed 1.6 from 54 reviews on 25 October 2026. See our Skool alternatives roundup for other community tools.

Pick it over Coachful if your whole offer is a single paid community and you are happy to keep marketing, email and 1:1 work on other tools.

How do the features compare side by side?

Coachful is the only tool here that documents all seven. "Not listed" means the vendor facts we hold do not mention the feature either way.

What will each tool cost at 5, 15 and 40 clients?

The table uses each vendor's monthly price as listed in October 2026 for the cheapest plan that fits our example coach, before payment processing. Where an entry plan's sales fee would likely cost more than upgrading once you have 15 paying clients, we show the upgrade. The last column names what you would still need to add for 1:1 coaching. Those add-ons have their own costs, which vary by vendor, so check them before you compare totals.

Systeme.io stays the cheapest line on its own, and that is the honest point in its favour. The question is what the extra tools cost you in money, logins and the client's attention. For more on how stacks add up, see our coaching software overview.

How would you set up a Systeme.io-style business in Coachful, step by step?

Here is a worked example for the coach from our scenario: a free guide as the lead magnet, a nurture sequence, discovery calls, 1:1 coaching and an 8-week group program. Each step notes what the client experiences.

  1. Export from Systeme.io first. Request the contacts CSV and download it within the 3-day window. Save copies of your course lessons, sales page copy and email text, since those do not export in bulk. Clients, programs and content are imported for you during Coachful onboarding.
  2. Ask for the build. From Create, choose the free white-glove build and describe the lead-magnet funnel, the sales page for the group program and your homepage. Attach your old page links (up to 8) and your logo and guide PDF (up to 10 files). The team builds it in your account, usually within about 24 hours, and leaves gaps where details are missing. The client sees nothing yet.
  3. Connect payments. Link your Stripe or Razorpay account and create two offers: a 1:1 package (one-time, payment plan or subscription) and the group program. Add a coupon for past Systeme.io buyers if you like.
  4. Write the agreement. Set up a coaching agreement with e-signature that goes out before the first call. The client signs online before you ever meet, and the signed copy sits on their record.
  5. Open the booking page. Create a free discovery call and a paid session type with buffers, minimum notice and intake questions. Connect Google, Apple or Outlook. The client picks a time in their own time zone, answers your questions and gets email reminders, plus SMS and WhatsApp once messaging is on.
  6. Build the program. Start from one of more than 40 program templates or ask Michelle to draft one. Add weekly goals, daily tasks, two or three habits, and a morning and evening check-in. When someone enrolls in the group program, a cohort group is created for them automatically. The client opens the app each morning, sees today's tasks and habits, and taps through a short check-in.
  7. Rebuild the nurture sequence. Import your contacts, then recreate the sequence with triggers and delays. Add your postal address and a working unsubscribe to meet CAN-SPAM. The client gets the guide, then a few emails that end with a link to book a call.
  8. Watch the client list. Each client shows as thriving, active, quiet or at risk. Before a call, Michelle briefs you on recent check-ins and habits. The client feels remembered, because you open with what happened this week.

What mistakes should you avoid when leaving Systeme.io?

Most migration problems come from timing and from comparing the wrong numbers.

  • Cancelling before you export. The contacts export arrives as an emailed link that is valid for 3 days. Download it, check the columns, and keep it somewhere safe before you downgrade.
  • Comparing sticker prices only. A $39 plan with a 7.5% fee, or a $9 plan with 10% + 30¢ per sale, can cost more than a higher flat plan once you sell a few packages. Add platform fees and the tools you would still need.
  • Rebuilding courses at midnight. Courses and pages do not export in bulk from Systeme.io. Copy the text out first, then hand the rebuild to a team that will do it with you.
  • Copying old sales claims. Moving pages is a good moment to check them. Income claims and testimonials need to be honest and typical, or clearly labelled, under FTC guidance. Do not carry over results you cannot back up.
  • Dropping email compliance in the move. Re-import only people who opted in, keep your unsubscribe working, and honour opt-outs within 10 business days.
  • Using coaching software for clinical work. If you diagnose, treat or bill insurance, you need a tool with a BAA and clinical records, such as the practice platforms above. Coaching tools, Coachful included, are not built for that.

What is our verdict on the best Systeme.io alternative?

If you mostly sell to strangers and coach lightly, Systeme.io may still be the right tool, and ClickFunnels or Kartra are its closest upgrades. If you sell courses at volume, Kajabi, Thinkific or Teachable will serve you better. If you work in a clinical setting, Practice Better is built for that.

If your income comes from coaching clients through programs, choose Coachful. It replaces the funnel and email side of Systeme.io and adds what Systeme.io never documented: booking on the client record, agreements, habits, check-ins, cohorts and a branded client app, with a 0% platform fee and a free white-glove build to get you moved. Start with the free trial and request your first build on day one.

Frequently asked questions

What is the best Systeme.io alternative for coaches?

For coaches who deliver programs and 1:1 work, Coachful is our pick because it combines funnels and email with booking, agreements, habits, check-ins and a client app. For pure course sellers, Kajabi or Thinkific fit better. For funnel-heavy marketers, ClickFunnels is the closest match.

Is there a free alternative to Systeme.io?

Few alternatives match Systeme.io's free plan. Practice Better has a free Sprout plan for 3 clients, but no funnels. Coachful has no permanent free plan; it offers a free trial instead, plus a free white-glove build on every plan.

Can I move my Systeme.io contacts and courses?

Contacts export to CSV through an emailed link that stays valid for 3 days. Courses and pages are not bulk-exportable, according to our September 2026 profile, so copy lesson text and page copy out before you cancel. In Coachful, clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding.

Does Coachful charge transaction fees like Kajabi or Teachable?

No. Since August 2026 Coachful charges a 0% platform fee. You pay only the processing fees of your own Stripe or Razorpay account.

What is Coachful's free white-glove service?

On every plan, you can ask the Coachful team to build a website, funnel, sales page, program, course outline, email sequence, form or automation inside your account. You describe it and attach up to 8 links and 10 files, and it is usually ready within about 24 hours. The team does not invent credentials, testimonials or prices, and it does not record videos, design logos or run ads.

Is Coachful HIPAA compliant?

No. Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and does not sign a BAA, so it is not suited to clinical records or insurance billing. Practitioners who need that should look at clinical tools such as Practice Better, which lists HIPAA compliance on its pricing page.

Do I need a separate scheduling tool if I use Systeme.io?

Most coaches do. Our September 2026 profile notes no native 1:1 scheduling with client records in Systeme.io, so coaches usually add a separate booking app. Our Calendly alternatives post compares options.

Does Coachful support PayPal?

No. Coachful takes payments through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account, including Apple Pay and Google Pay. If PayPal is essential for your audience, Systeme.io, Podia or Stan Store support it.

Which Systeme.io alternative is cheapest for selling a course?

On sticker price, Skool Hobby ($9 a month) and LearnWorlds Starter ($29 a month) are lowest as listed in October 2026, but Skool takes 10% + 30¢ per sale on Hobby and LearnWorlds charges $5 per paid enrollment on Starter. Work out your expected sales before choosing on price.
