LearnWorlds vs ClickFunnels for Coaches: 2026 Verdict

In the learnworlds vs clickfunnels decision, the short version is this: LearnWorlds is a course platform that also builds funnels, and ClickFunnels is a funnel platform that also hosts courses. If your coaching business lives or dies on the quality of your courses (quizzes, certificates, interactive video, SCORM), LearnWorlds is the stronger pick. If it lives or dies on landing pages, sales funnels and email volume, ClickFunnels is. Neither was built to run 1:1 or group coaching between sessions, which is where most coaches actually spend their week.
This guide compares the two on price, fees, features and the experience your clients get, using what each vendor lists on its pricing pages in October 2026 and what public reviewers report. We make Coachful, a coaching platform, so we also cover it as a third option and say plainly when it beats both and when it does not.
What is the short answer, by use case?
Pick by the asset you sell most. Courses point to LearnWorlds, funnels and launches point to ClickFunnels, and coaching programs with live clients point to a coaching platform.
- You sell self-paced courses to many learners: LearnWorlds. It has learning paths, certificates, interactive video, quizzes and SCORM support, and Pro Trainer removes the per-enrollment fee.
- You run paid traffic into webinars, lead magnets and order forms: ClickFunnels. Its entry plan already includes 10,000 contacts and 50,000 emails a month, and funnels are its core product.
- You sell a mix of courses and coaching, mostly to a warm audience: either can work, but you will likely add a booking tool and some way to track client progress.
- You deliver 1:1 or group coaching programs with habits, check-ins and sessions: neither is a natural fit. Coachful puts booking, payments, programs, courses, community and funnels behind one login, which is why we rank it first for that use case.
- You need corporate training features such as LTI 1.3 or uptime SLAs: LearnWorlds Learning Center or Corporate.
If you already know one of these tools well, our deeper reviews go further: the LearnWorlds review and the ClickFunnels review.
How do LearnWorlds and ClickFunnels compare side by side?
LearnWorlds wins on course depth, ClickFunnels wins on funnels and email volume, and both leave client delivery between sessions to you. The table below adds Coachful as a reference point.
Ranking criteria for coaches: one login for the whole client journey, delivery between sessions, total stack cost, and setup effort (including a free white-glove build).
| Tool | Built around | Entry price (monthly billing) | 1:1 booking | Habits and check-ins | Funnels | Courses |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful | Coaching programs, clients and sales in one place | Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients | Yes, with two-way calendar sync and video links | Yes, daily habits plus morning and evening check-ins | Booking, application, lead-magnet and checkout funnels | Yes, with modules, drip and completion tracking |
| LearnWorlds | Online courses and learning | $29/month (Starter, plus $5 per paid enrollment) | Live 1:1 and group sessions listed from Starter | Not documented | 15 page funnels on Pro Trainer, unlimited on Learning Center | Deep: quizzes, certificates, learning paths, SCORM, interactive video |
| ClickFunnels | Funnels, sales pages and email | $97/month (Launch) | Appointments app included | Not documented | Core product; Launch lists unlimited funnels for a limited time | 3 courses on Launch, more on higher plans |
Ratings are a rough signal, not a verdict. As listed in October 2026, LearnWorlds holds 4.8 on Trustpilot from 423 reviews and ClickFunnels holds 4.7 from 2,512 reviews. Coachful holds 4.5 from 21 reviews, a much smaller sample.

How much do LearnWorlds and ClickFunnels cost in 2026?
LearnWorlds starts lower ($29 a month on Starter) but charges $5 per paid enrollment until you move to Pro Trainer at $99. ClickFunnels starts at $97 a month with no ClickFunnels commission on sales. Here are the self-serve plans as listed in October 2026.
| Plan | Monthly billing | Billed annually (per month) | Key limits | Platform fee on sales |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful | Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients | Flat monthly plans; Pro has unlimited clients | Lower plans cap clients; team plans add coach seats | 0% Coachful platform fee; Stripe or Razorpay processing only |
| LearnWorlds Starter | $29 | $24 | 1 admin, 1,000 active learners a month, 300 AI credits | $5 per paid enrollment |
| LearnWorlds Pro Trainer | $99 | $79 | 5 admins, 2,000 active learners, 15 page funnels, 2,000 mass emails a month | None from LearnWorlds |
| LearnWorlds Learning Center | $299 | $249 | 25 admins, 2,000 active learners, 5,000 mass emails, unlimited funnels, full white-label | None from LearnWorlds |
| LearnWorlds Corporate | Custom | Custom | Custom limits, SLA, success manager | Not listed |
| ClickFunnels Launch | $97 | $81 | 10K contacts, 50K emails a month, 3 courses, 2 team members | 0% ClickFunnels commission |
| ClickFunnels Scale | $197 | $164 | 75K contacts, 300K emails, 6 courses, API and webhooks | 0% ClickFunnels commission |
| ClickFunnels Optimize | $297 | $248 | 150K contacts, 750K emails, 10 courses | 0% ClickFunnels commission |
| ClickFunnels Dominate | Annual only | $499.75 ($5,997 a year) | 400K contacts, 1.2M emails, 20 courses | 0% ClickFunnels commission |
A few details change the real cost:
- LearnWorlds prices exclude VAT. The pricing page shows a "$" sign without naming the currency, and EU customers without a VAT number pay VAT on top. The branded mobile app, extra emails and extra AI credits are add-ons whose prices are not shown on the pricing page.
- ClickFunnels lists 0% commission ("You'll keep every penny you make"), so you pay only processor fees. Its annual billing saves $194, $394 or $594 a year depending on plan.
- Trials differ. LearnWorlds offers a 30-day free trial and says no credit card is required; a school that is not upgraded is scheduled for deletion. ClickFunnels lists a 14-day trial and a 30-day money-back guarantee; its help center has said the card on file is charged after 14 days.
- Payment processors. LearnWorlds connects your own Stripe and PayPal accounts (gateway fees of about 2.9% + $0.30 apply). ClickFunnels offers Payments AI (built on Stripe), Stripe and, per older documentation, PayPal.

What does a coach actually pay in the first year?
Subscription price is only part of it. For a coach selling a course plus coaching, the gap between the two tools depends on how many paid enrollments you run and which extra tools you bolt on.
Here is an illustrative example, not a quote. Imagine a coach who bills annually and makes 40 paid course enrollments in the year. On LearnWorlds Starter, that is $24 × 12 = $288 in subscription plus 40 × $5 = $200 in enrollment fees, so $488 before processing. On Pro Trainer, it is $79 × 12 = $948 with no enrollment fees, which only becomes cheaper than Starter once you pass roughly 132 paid enrollments a year. On ClickFunnels Launch, it is $81 × 12 = $972.
| Setup (example, billed annually) | Year-one platform cost | What you still need to add |
|---|---|---|
| Coachful (plan that covers 15 clients) | Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients | Stripe or Razorpay account only; booking, contracts, programs, courses, community, website, funnels and email are included in your Coachful membership |
| LearnWorlds Starter, 40 paid enrollments | $488 | Booking tool, contract signing, client progress tracking, and a larger email tool if you send newsletters |
| LearnWorlds Pro Trainer | $948 | Booking tool, contract signing, client progress tracking |
| ClickFunnels Launch | $972 | Contract signing, client progress tracking, and a course platform if you outgrow 3 courses |
The "what you still need" column is where costs add up. Each extra tool means another subscription, another login for your client and another place where data can drift out of sync. Count every tool when you compare, not just the headline plan.
Which is better for building and selling courses?
LearnWorlds, clearly. Courses are its core product and its feature list goes much deeper than ClickFunnels's course app.
LearnWorlds lists an AI course builder and quizzes on every plan, then adds learning paths, certificates, bundles, interactive video and up to 20 SCORM packages on Pro Trainer. SCORM is a standard format for packaging e-learning content so it can move between systems (Wikipedia explains the standard). Learning Center adds unlimited SCORM, LTI 1.3, scheduled reports and full white-label.
The limit to watch is active learners: 1,000 a month on Starter and 2,000 a month on Pro Trainer and Learning Center. A coach with a large free mini-course could hit that faster than expected.
ClickFunnels includes a courses app on every plan, but caps how many courses you can run: 3 on Launch, 6 on Scale, 10 on Optimize and 20 on Dominate (courses and communities counted together on the higher plans). Older ClickFunnels documentation indicates that course content is not portable if you leave. For a coach with one signature course and a membership, that is often enough. For a coach building a library, it is a constraint.
Coachful sits between the two here. It has a course builder with modules, lessons, drip and completion tracking, 48 course templates with quizzes, and delivers courses into the client's branded home and app alongside their program. It does not offer SCORM, LTI or a course marketplace. See Coachful for courses for the full list.

Which is better for funnels, sales pages and email?
ClickFunnels. Funnels are the product, and its email allowances are far larger than LearnWorlds's.
ClickFunnels Launch includes 10,000 contacts and 50,000 emails a month, 5 domains, 1 store and 1 million AI words, with funnels listed as unlimited for a limited time. Scale adds a custom code editor, webhooks and API access, priority support and voice AI coaching. If you run paid ads into webinar registrations, tripwires and order bumps, ClickFunnels is purpose-built for that.
LearnWorlds caps funnels at 15 on Pro Trainer (Starter does not list funnels) and mass emails at 2,000 a month on Pro Trainer and 5,000 on Learning Center. Those email numbers are low for a coach with a growing list, so many LearnWorlds users pair it with a separate email tool. Automations arrive only on Learning Center.
The trade-off with ClickFunnels is lock-in. Its funnels and pages are proprietary, and older documentation says only contacts export (as CSV), so pages and course content must be rebuilt if you leave. If you want to compare funnel builders more widely, read the best ClickFunnels alternatives for coaches or our guide to building coaching funnels without ClickFunnels.
Coachful's funnels are coaching funnels: booking, application, lead-magnet and checkout funnels with pixels and UTM tracking, about 25 funnel templates, plus email lists, broadcasts and multi-step sequences with triggers, delays, branching and A/B splits. It also has a link-in-bio page that sells and Instagram automations that send a booking link or lead magnet by DM when someone comments a keyword. It is not built for large ecommerce stores or high-volume affiliate funnels the way ClickFunnels is.

How do they handle coaching sessions, booking and payments?
Both can take payment for coaching, but neither treats the session as the center of the product. LearnWorlds lists live 1:1 and group sessions from Starter; ClickFunnels includes an appointments app. Calendar depth, reminders and per-client session history are thinner than in dedicated coaching tools.
On payments, LearnWorlds supports subscriptions, memberships and payment plans from Pro Trainer, using your own Stripe or PayPal account. ClickFunnels handles one-time and recurring offers through its own checkout and Payments AI. Neither documents coaching agreements with e-signature sent before the first call, so most coaches add a contract tool.
Coachful was built around sessions: booking pages with availability rules, buffers and minimum notice, time-zone detection, two-way Google, Apple and Outlook sync, built-in video or auto-created Zoom, Meet and Teams links, email reminders plus SMS and WhatsApp reminders once messaging is enabled, paid sessions and session credits, and intake questions on booking. Payments run through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account with subscriptions, payment plans, order bumps, coupons and Stripe Tax, and coaching agreements with e-signature go out before the first call. More on Coachful scheduling.

What will your clients experience between sessions?
On LearnWorlds, your clients get a course school. On ClickFunnels, they get funnel pages and a members area. On both, the week between sessions is mostly up to you and your inbox.
That matters because coaching results come from what clients do between calls. Neither LearnWorlds nor ClickFunnels documents daily habits, morning and evening check-ins, weekly goals or per-client programs. LearnWorlds can sell a branded mobile app as a separately priced add-on, and ClickFunnels includes communities (3 on Launch). Neither positions itself as a client management tool.
In practice, a coach using either tool tends to run clients through a mix of email, a shared document, a messaging app and the course login. Clients end up with three or four places to check, and you have no single record of who is thriving and who has gone quiet.
Coachful gives each client one branded home and app (your branding inside the Coachful app) with their program, weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, check-ins, sessions, courses and community in one place. On the coach side, each client record holds goals, check-ins, notes, intake answers, payments and sessions, with a status of thriving, active, quiet or at risk.

Which should you pick for your type of coaching?
Match the tool to how you deliver, not to how you market. Here is how the choice usually falls.
| Coach type | Best fit | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Coachful: 1:1 and group coaches running programs | Coachful | Sessions, programs, habits, check-ins, courses, community and funnels under one login |
| Course-first educator with a large learner base | LearnWorlds Pro Trainer | Deep course tools, certificates, no enrollment fees |
| Corporate trainer or academy selling to companies | LearnWorlds Learning Center or Corporate | SCORM, LTI 1.3, white-label, client groups, reports |
| Ads-driven launch business with webinars and order bumps | ClickFunnels Launch or Scale | Funnels are the core product; large contact and email allowances |
| Coach selling a single course plus occasional calls | LearnWorlds Starter or Coachful | Low entry cost; check the enrollment fee math on Starter |
| Coach with a team of other coaches | Coachful team plans | Coach seats, per-coach availability, round-robin booking, staff permissions |
Business and executive coaches who sell programs to individuals usually fit the first row; see Coachful for business coaches. Coaches comparing LearnWorlds against other course platforms may also want LearnWorlds vs Kajabi, and funnel-first coaches ClickFunnels vs Kajabi.
Is there a third option that covers both?
Yes, if you coach clients rather than mainly sell content. Coachful replaces the course platform, the funnel builder, the booking tool and the client tracker with one subscription, and it is our first pick for coaches who deliver programs.

What Coachful is. Coachful is a coaching platform. One subscription covers booking, payments, contracts, program delivery with habits and check-ins, courses, a community, a website with funnels and email, and an AI assistant, with one login for the coach and one branded app for the client. The company is based in Tallinn, Estonia.
Who it is for. Coaches who deliver programs, not just sessions; solo coaches growing into a small team; and coaches replacing four to six tools.
Where it beats both LearnWorlds and ClickFunnels.
- One login for the whole client journey: from the Instagram DM or funnel, to booking, contract, payment, program, course and community.
- Between-session delivery: multi-week programs with weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins, goals with progress bars and streaks.
- Client records you can act on: each client shows as thriving, active, quiet or at risk, and Michelle, the built-in AI assistant, briefs you before sessions from live practice data.
- Coaching-specific extras: ICF credential tracking against ACC, PCC and MCC thresholds with an exportable client coaching log (see ICF hour tracking), an AI Coach that selected clients can chat with between sessions, and cohort groups created automatically on program enrollment.
- Portability: a full client data export as a ZIP, and course export.
Where it does not beat them.
- For SCORM, LTI, certificates for corporate training or very large learner bases, LearnWorlds is stronger.
- For high-volume ecommerce funnels, stores and big email sends to cold lists, ClickFunnels is stronger.
- Coachful has no PayPal, no third-party plugins and no course marketplace. It is not HIPAA-certified and not a general website builder for non-coaching sites. The client app ships under the Coachful listing with your branding, not under your own App Store account.
- Its affiliate tracking records links, clicks, conversions and revenue, but payouts are recorded manually rather than sent by Coachful.
Here is a short walkthrough of how programs work inside Coachful:
Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. On every plan, you can ask the Coachful team to build something for you inside your own account: a website, funnel, sales page, program, course outline and written material, email sequence, form, link in bio, lead quiz or automation. You describe what you want under Create, attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files, and the team usually builds it within about 24 hours. Nothing gets invented: no fake credentials, testimonials or prices, and gaps are left for you to fill. It does not cover recording videos, logo design, ad management or ongoing marketing. One recent example: a somatic coach leaving Kajabi had the homepage and About page rebuilt and the contact form connected. Another: a real-estate and money coach got a year-long cohort program with an application form, an eight-page site and a free nine-day bootcamp funnel. Read more about the free white-glove service.

How to start. Start a free trial, then request a white-glove build of your site or first funnel. Clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding. Current plans: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients. Every feature in this section is included in your Coachful membership.
What does each website builder give you?
All three let you run your public site on your own domain, but with different aims. LearnWorlds builds a course school with sales pages; ClickFunnels builds funnels and pages around offers; Coachful builds a coaching site around booking and programs.
LearnWorlds hosts courses on your own domain from Starter and adds full white-label on Learning Center. ClickFunnels allows 5 domains on Launch and unlimited domains on Scale. Coachful has a section-based website builder with a blog, custom domain, SEO settings, 30 designed homepage templates and an Import website option, and every button can lead into a booking or application funnel. See the Coachful website builder.

How do you move from LearnWorlds or ClickFunnels without losing work?
Plan the move around what each tool lets you export. ClickFunnels documents contact export to CSV, but funnels and pages are not portable and course content has to be rebuilt. LearnWorlds does not document its data export on the pricing pages we checked, so ask its support before you commit.
A practical order for a switch:
- Export your contact list and customer list first, while your subscription is active.
- Download course videos, worksheets and lesson text so you hold originals.
- Screenshot or copy your best-performing sales pages and email sequences.
- List every active subscription and payment plan, and decide how and when each client will move.
- Set up the new platform, test one full purchase, then tell clients the date of the switch.
If you move to Coachful, clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding, and the white-glove team can rebuild your site or funnel from your old pages as references. For a wider look at options, see LearnWorlds alternatives and Coachful coaching software.

Frequently asked questions
Is LearnWorlds or ClickFunnels better for coaches?
LearnWorlds is better if courses are your main product, and ClickFunnels is better if funnels and paid traffic drive your business. Neither documents habits, check-ins or per-client programs. Coaches who mainly deliver 1:1 or group programs usually do better with a coaching platform such as Coachful.
Which is cheaper, LearnWorlds or ClickFunnels?
LearnWorlds starts lower, at $29 a month on Starter, as listed in October 2026, but adds a $5 fee per paid enrollment. ClickFunnels starts at $97 a month with no ClickFunnels commission. Above roughly 132 paid enrollments a year, LearnWorlds Pro Trainer becomes cheaper than staying on Starter.
Does ClickFunnels take a percentage of sales?
No. ClickFunnels lists a 0% commission on every plan, so you pay only your payment processor's fees. LearnWorlds charges no platform fee from Pro Trainer upward, but Starter carries the $5 per paid enrollment fee.
Can I host courses on ClickFunnels?
Yes, but with caps: 3 courses on Launch, 6 on Scale, 10 on Optimize and 20 on Dominate. Course features are lighter than LearnWorlds, and older documentation says course content is not portable if you leave.
Can LearnWorlds replace ClickFunnels for funnels?
For simple funnels, often yes. Pro Trainer includes 15 page funnels and Learning Center unlimited funnels. Mass email is capped at 2,000 or 5,000 a month, so high-volume email marketers usually still need a separate email tool.
Do LearnWorlds or ClickFunnels offer a free trial?
LearnWorlds offers a 30-day free trial and says no credit card is required. ClickFunnels lists a 14-day trial and a 30-day money-back guarantee. Neither has a permanent free plan.
What is Coachful's free white-glove service?
It is a build service included on every Coachful plan. You describe a website, funnel, program, course outline, email sequence or similar, attach references, and the Coachful team builds it inside your account, usually within about 24 hours. It does not include video recording, logo design or ad management.
Does Coachful support PayPal like LearnWorlds?
No. Coachful takes payments through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account, including Apple Pay and Google Pay, with no Coachful platform fee. If PayPal checkout is essential for your audience, LearnWorlds or ClickFunnels may suit you better.
Is Coachful a course platform like LearnWorlds?
Coachful includes courses with modules, lessons, drip and completion tracking, plus 48 course templates with quizzes. It is not a course marketplace and does not support SCORM or LTI. It is built for coaches who deliver courses as part of coaching programs.
Can I use Coachful alongside LearnWorlds or ClickFunnels?
You can, and Zapier helps connect them, but most coaches switch to cut tools and logins. Running two platforms means two subscriptions and two places for client data. Compare the full stack on our comparison page before deciding.
