Delenta vs upcoach in 2026: Which Should Coaches Pick?

Delenta vs upcoach comes down to what you sell. Delenta is a coaching practice platform built around 1:1 admin: CRM, booking, e-signed contracts, session notes and client portals, priced from $29 a month. upcoach is a program platform built around groups and cohorts: participants, progress dashboards and AI impact reports, priced from $49 a month plus a 1% to 2% transaction fee below its top plan. If your week is mostly private sessions, Delenta fits better. If your business is cohort programs with sponsors watching results, upcoach fits better. If you want both, plus a website, email and a branded client app under one login, there is a third option we cover honestly at the end.
We make Coachful, so read our verdict with that in mind. Every Delenta and upcoach price and limit below comes from their own pricing pages as listed in October 2026, and older details are marked as such.
What is the short answer by use case?
Pick Delenta for a 1:1 practice that needs contracts and session admin at a low price, and pick upcoach for structured group programs where you measure participant progress. Here is how that splits by the kind of coach you are.
- Solo 1:1 coach with under 10 clients: Delenta Starter at $29 a month covers booking, CRM, intake forms, notes and e-signed contracts. upcoach's cheapest plan costs more and focuses on programs rather than session admin.
- Group or cohort coach: upcoach is built for this. Unlimited programs, progress dashboards and AI insights are on every plan. Delenta only adds group coaching from Pro, and courses only on Premium.
- Coach selling into companies: upcoach Pro adds Admin, Facilitator and Sponsor roles, which suits corporate programs where a sponsor needs a view of progress.
- Coach who needs a contract signed before the first session: Delenta, since e-signed contracts are on Starter. An older upcoach profile (September 2026) lists no contracts or invoicing.
- Coach who wants one tool for marketing, sales and delivery: neither is a full stack. Delenta adds sales pages on Premium; upcoach does not list a website builder or email marketing. That is where Coachful comes in.

How do Delenta and upcoach compare side by side?
Delenta is wider on practice admin and cheaper to start; upcoach is deeper on group program delivery and reporting. We rank the three tools on one login for the whole client journey, between-session delivery, total stack cost, and setup effort, which puts Coachful first, Delenta second and upcoach third for most independent coaches.
| Tool | Best for | Starting price | Client limit on entry plan | Platform fee on payments | Contracts | Courses |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful | Coaches who deliver programs and want booking, payments, website, email and a branded client app in one login | Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients | Lower plans cap clients; Pro is unlimited | 0% (Stripe or Razorpay processing only) | E-signature before the first call | Included in your Coachful membership |
| Delenta | 1:1 coaches who want CRM, contracts and client portals | $29/month ($229/year) | 10 client portals | None ("no additional transaction fees") | E-signed contracts from Starter | Premium only ($79/month) |
| upcoach | Group and cohort programs with progress reporting | $49/month | 25 active participants | 2% on Starter, 1% on Pro and Business, 0% on Scale | Not listed (older profile, September 2026) | Program-based delivery; unlimited programs |
The table hides one important difference in how each tool counts people. Delenta counts client portals; upcoach counts active participants. If you run a 20-person cohort plus 10 private clients, upcoach sees 30 participants and Delenta sees 30 portals, so both push you up a tier earlier than you might expect.

How does pricing compare between Delenta and upcoach?
Delenta is cheaper at every solo practice size we checked, and it charges no platform fee on payments, while upcoach starts at $49 a month and adds 1% to 2% on client payments until you reach its $399 Scale plan. These are the plans as listed in October 2026.
| Plan | Monthly price | Billed yearly | People included | Seats | Key additions |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful | Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients | Flat monthly plans; monthly plans cancel in one click | Lower plans cap clients; unlimited on Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients | Team plans (Studio and Agency) add coach seats | Booking, payments, contracts, programs, courses, community, website, funnels, email and AI assistant on one subscription |
| Delenta Starter | $29 | $229/year (about $19.08/month) | 10 client portals, 1 GB | 1 | CRM, booking with calendar sync, intake forms, session notes, tasks and goals, e-signed contracts, coaching logs, Zoom/Meet/Teams, Stripe/PayPal, Zapier |
| Delenta Pro | $49 | $469/year (about $39.08/month) | 40 client portals, 5 GB, up to 6 calendars | 1 | Group coaching, group video sessions, group packages, branded landing page |
| Delenta Premium | $79 | $699/year (about $58.25/month) | Unlimited client portals, 100 GB | 1 | Custom domain and branding, branded emails, unlimited sales pages, onboarding workflows, course creator, subscriptions and events, mobile app |
| Delenta Teams | Per-seat fee, not shown | Not shown | Not shown | Multiple | Super admin, roles, coach payroll, HR reports, white label, HIPAA |
| upcoach Starter | $49 | $588/year | 25 active participants, 100 GB | 1 | Unlimited programs, progress dashboards, AI insights, 3 AI impact reports a month, Claude/ChatGPT (MCP) access; 2% fee |
| upcoach Pro | $99 | $1,188/year | 100 participants, 250 GB | 2 | Brand colors and logo, custom domain, Admin/Facilitator/Sponsor roles, 15 reports a month; 1% fee |
| upcoach Business | $199 | $2,388/year | 250 participants, 500 GB | 5 | 50 reports a month, option to add participants ($99/month per 100) and seats ($99/month each); 1% fee |
| upcoach Scale | $399 | $4,788/year | 500 participants, 1 TB | 10 | 0% transaction fee, full role model across teams |
Two quirks are worth knowing before you sign up. Delenta's pricing page shows "$" without naming a currency, and its trial length conflicts: the headline says a 14-day free trial and the FAQ says unlimited access for 7 days, with no credit card required either way. upcoach's page shows yearly totals that equal twelve times the monthly price, even though its toggle says "2 months free", so confirm the real annual figure at checkout. upcoach offers a 14-day trial without a card and a 14-day money-back guarantee on the first paid subscription.

What does upcoach's transaction fee cost in practice?
On upcoach Starter, the 2% fee is charged on top of Stripe's own processing. As an illustrative example, a coach collecting $4,000 a month through upcoach Starter pays about $80 a month in upcoach fees on top of the $49 subscription, so the real cost is closer to $129. On Pro, the same $4,000 costs about $40 in fees on top of $99. The fee only disappears on Scale at $399 a month. Delenta states "no additional transaction fees", so only Stripe or PayPal charges apply.
What do they cost at different practice sizes?
The cheapest fitting plan changes as you grow. This table uses list prices, billed monthly, before any processor fees.
| Tool | Solo, 8 private clients | Solo, 30 clients incl. one cohort | Solo, 80 clients and a course | Two coaches |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful | Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients | Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients | Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients | Team plans add coach seats (Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients) |
| Delenta | Starter, $29 | Pro, $49 | Premium, $79 | Teams, price not shown |
| upcoach | Starter, $49 plus 2% fee | Pro, $99 plus 1% fee | Pro, $99 plus 1% fee | Pro, $99 (2 seats) plus 1% fee |

How do the features compare, section by section?
Delenta wins on scheduling, contracts and payments admin; upcoach wins on group program structure and reporting. Here is each area in turn, based on what each vendor documents.
Booking and scheduling
Delenta includes booking with calendar sync and Zoom, Google Meet and Microsoft Teams links on Starter, and Pro raises the limit to six connected calendars. That is enough for a typical 1:1 practice. upcoach's plan list emphasizes programs, dashboards and AI reports rather than booking pages, so if clients book private sessions with you, test that flow during the 14-day trial before you commit.
Contracts, intake and CRM
This is Delenta's clearest advantage. Lead management, a profile landing page, intake forms, a CRM, session notes, tasks and goals, e-signed contracts and coaching logs are all on the $29 Starter plan. The coaching logs help if you track hours toward a credential. An older upcoach profile (September 2026) notes no contracts or invoicing, so upcoach coaches usually pair it with a separate e-signature tool. Our guide to coaching contracts covers what the agreement itself should include.
Group programs and cohorts
upcoach is built for this. Every plan includes unlimited programs and progress dashboards, and the multi-role model on Pro lets an admin, facilitators and a sponsor see the same program from different angles. Delenta adds group coaching, group video sessions and group packages from Pro at $49 a month; it works, but groups are an addition to a 1:1 tool rather than its center.
Courses and content
Delenta's course creator is on Premium only, at $79 a month. upcoach delivers content inside programs. Neither is a full course platform with a storefront, so coaches selling standalone courses often add another tool.
AI features
upcoach includes AI insights and monthly AI impact reports (3 on Starter, 15 on Pro, 50 on Business), and on every plan it offers access through Claude or ChatGPT using MCP. Delenta's pricing page marks "Delenta ai" as coming soon, so it has no AI layer to compare yet.
Payments
Delenta supports Stripe and PayPal with no platform fee. upcoach supports Stripe only, with the 2% or 1% fee described above. If some clients insist on PayPal, Delenta is the only one of the two that takes it.
Branding and website
Delenta's Pro plan adds a branded landing page, and Premium adds a custom domain, branded emails and unlimited sales pages. upcoach adds brand colors, logo and a custom domain from Pro. Neither lists a full website builder with a blog or email marketing sequences.
Teams and compliance
Both handle teams at the top end. Delenta's custom-priced Teams plan adds multiple coaches, roles, coach payroll, HR reports, white label and HIPAA. upcoach adds seats as you climb, from 2 on Pro to 10 on Scale. If you need HIPAA, Delenta's Teams plan is the only one of the two that lists it.
Data export
An older upcoach profile (September 2026) documents a client export to CSV, including custom fields, from its Admin Panel. Delenta documents CSV and XLS contact import, but we could not verify a full client-data export, so ask support before you build a large client base there.
What is the client experience like on each?
Delenta gives each client a portal for sessions, notes, goals and documents, while upcoach gives participants a program space with progress tracking alongside their cohort. The details depend on the plan.
On Delenta, each client gets a client portal tied to the sessions, tasks and goals you set up in the CRM. The mobile app, custom domain and full custom branding only arrive on Premium, so Starter and Pro clients work in the web portal. On upcoach, participants work through program steps and see their progress, which is the point of the product. Brand colors and a custom domain need Pro, and a branded app in the app stores is Enterprise only.
What neither offers on its lower plans is a single branded home where a client books, pays, signs, follows a program, tracks habits and talks to the group. That gap matters most for coaches who want to keep clients engaged between sessions.
What do public reviewers say?
Both review bases are small, so treat them as signals rather than verdicts. Delenta holds 4.1 on Trustpilot from 5 reviews (seen October 25, 2026). upcoach's Trustpilot page had 0 reviews when we checked; an older profile (September 2026) recorded 4.9 on Capterra from 8 reviews. With so few reviews on either side, the free trials tell you more than the ratings do.
Which should you pick for which kind of coach?
Choose Delenta if your income comes from private sessions and you value low cost and admin coverage; choose upcoach if your income comes from cohort programs, especially ones sold to companies.
- Life, career or mindset coach with mostly 1:1 clients: Delenta Starter or Pro. Contracts, intake and booking are covered for $29 to $49 a month.
- Leadership or executive coach running company cohorts: upcoach Pro. Sponsor roles and AI impact reports give buyers evidence of progress.
- Coach with a growing group program and a course: Delenta Premium is cheaper at $79 with unlimited portals; upcoach Pro at $99 plus fees has stronger program tooling.
- Coach who needs PayPal: Delenta.
- Coaching firm with 5 or more coaches: upcoach Business or Scale has published prices; Delenta Teams needs a quote.
- Coach who wants marketing, sales and delivery in one place: neither. Read on.
If neither feels right, we have compared more options in our roundups of Delenta alternatives and upcoach alternatives, and in CoachAccountable vs upcoach.
Is there a third option that beats both?
Yes, for most coaches who deliver programs: Coachful combines Delenta's practice admin and upcoach's program delivery, then adds the website, funnels and email that neither has. It is not the right pick for everyone, and we say where below.

What Coachful is. Coachful is a coaching platform. One subscription covers booking, payments, contracts, program delivery with habits and check-ins, courses, a community, a website with funnels and email, and an AI assistant, with one login for the coach and one branded app for the client. It is built for coaches who deliver programs, not just sessions, for solo coaches growing into a small team, and for coaches replacing four to six tools. The company is based in Tallinn, Estonia, and holds 4.5 on Trustpilot from 21 reviews.
Where Coachful beats Delenta
Delenta's course creator, custom domain and mobile app wait for Premium. In Coachful, courses with modules, lessons, drip and completion tracking are included in your Coachful membership on every plan, along with the website builder, funnels and email sequences. Clients use one branded app for their programs, habits, check-ins and community. Between sessions, Coachful runs multi-week programs with weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins, goal progress bars and streaks, which is where Delenta is thinnest.

Where Coachful beats upcoach
upcoach takes 1% to 2% of client payments below Scale. Coachful charges a 0% platform fee (since August 2026), so you pay only Stripe or Razorpay processing. Coachful also covers what upcoach leaves out: booking pages with availability rules, buffers and time-zone detection, coaching agreements with e-signature sent before the first call, and an invoice per transaction plus manual invoices. Group delivery is still strong: cohort groups are created automatically when a client enrolls in a program, with a community feed, group chat and video events.

Here is a short walkthrough of how programs are built and delivered in Coachful:
Booking, contracts and payments in one place
Coachful's booking pages sync two ways with Google, Apple/iCloud and Outlook calendars, create Zoom, Meet or Teams links automatically (or use built-in video), and send email reminders, plus SMS 24 hours before and WhatsApp 1 hour before once messaging is enabled. Intake questions can sit on the booking form. Payments run through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account with one-time payments, subscriptions, payment plans, order bumps, coupons, Apple Pay and Google Pay. See scheduling and payments for the full lists.

Courses, content and AI
Courses, downloads, videos, books, AI tools, events and bundles all land in the client's branded home. Michelle, the built-in AI assistant, works from your live practice data: it builds programs, drafts emails and content, summarizes recorded sessions and briefs you before each session. Questions and planning are included in the membership; confirmed builds and changes use AI credits. If you are working toward an ICF credential, Coachful counts coaching hours and distinct clients against ACC, PCC and MCC thresholds and exports a client coaching log, which you can read about on our ICF hour tracking page.

Who builds your setup?
Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. Setup is where most platform switches stall, and Coachful removes most of it. From Create, choose "We'll build it for you · FREE", describe what you want (a website, funnel, sales page, program, course outline, email sequence, form or link in bio, for example), attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files, and the Coachful team builds it inside your own account, usually within about 24 hours. Nothing is invented: no fake credentials, testimonials or prices, and gaps are left for you to fill. One recent example: a business mentor for beauty professionals got a 12-week mentorship sales page, a free start-up-guide funnel and rewritten follow-up emails. The service does not include recording videos, logo design, ad management or ongoing marketing. Read more about the white-glove build service.

When Delenta or upcoach is the better choice
Coachful is not the answer for every coach. Be clear about the limits:
- HIPAA: Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and signs no BAA. If you need HIPAA, Delenta's Teams plan lists it; clinical records belong in a clinical system.
- PayPal: Coachful has no PayPal. Delenta supports it.
- Corporate sponsor reporting: upcoach's Sponsor role and AI impact reports are built for companies buying coaching for staff. If that is your whole business, upcoach may suit you better.
- Your own App Store listing: Coachful's client app ships under the Coachful listing with your branding. upcoach offers a branded app-store app on Enterprise.
- Large sales teams: Coachful has no multi-stage deal board for big teams and no Salesforce or HubSpot integration.
- Cheapest possible 1:1 admin: if you only need contracts and booking for a handful of clients, Delenta Starter's yearly price is hard to beat.
How do you start with Coachful?
Start a free trial, then use the white-glove build to have your site, offer or first program set up for you. Clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding, and you can export everything as a ZIP later. Current plans: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients. For a direct comparison, see Coachful vs Delenta or the Delenta alternative page, and browse niche setups such as group coaching software and Coachful for executive coaches.
How hard is it to switch from Delenta or upcoach?
Moving off upcoach is simpler because it documents a CSV client export with custom fields (older profile, September 2026). Moving off Delenta needs a check with its support first, since a full client-data export is not something we could verify. In both cases, plan the move around program cycles: finish a running cohort where it is, start new enrollments in the new tool, and send contracts again so every active client has a signed agreement on record. When moving to Coachful, the team imports clients, programs and content for you during onboarding. Before switching, it also helps to read our Delenta review to see how its features hold up in detail.
Frequently asked questions
Is Delenta or upcoach cheaper?
Delenta is cheaper at every tier as listed in October 2026: $29, $49 and $79 a month against upcoach's $49, $99, $199 and $399. Delenta also charges no platform fee on payments, while upcoach adds 2% on Starter and 1% on Pro and Business. A coach collecting $4,000 a month would pay roughly $80 extra in fees on upcoach Starter.
Does upcoach have contracts and invoicing?
An older upcoach profile (September 2026) lists no contracts or invoicing, and its October 2026 pricing page does not list them either. Coaches who need signed agreements usually add a separate e-signature tool. Delenta includes e-signed contracts on its Starter plan.
Which is better for group coaching, Delenta or upcoach?
upcoach, because programs and cohorts are its core: unlimited programs, progress dashboards and AI impact reports are on every plan. Delenta adds group coaching, group video sessions and group packages from its Pro plan, which suits coaches whose groups are a smaller part of a 1:1 practice.
Does Delenta have a free trial?
Yes, with no credit card required, but its pricing page gives two lengths: the headline says 14 days and the FAQ says 7 days of unlimited access. Plan your testing for the shorter window. upcoach offers a 14-day trial without a card and a 14-day money-back guarantee on the first paid subscription.
Do Delenta and upcoach have mobile apps?
Delenta's mobile app is on Premium at $79 a month. upcoach offers a branded app in the app stores only on Enterprise, with custom pricing. Coachful gives clients your branding inside the Coachful app on every plan.
Which one supports PayPal?
Delenta supports both Stripe and PayPal. upcoach supports Stripe only. Coachful supports Stripe Connect and Razorpay, not PayPal.
Is either platform HIPAA compliant?
Delenta lists HIPAA on its custom-priced Teams plan. upcoach does not list HIPAA on its pricing page. Coachful is not HIPAA-certified, so if you handle clinical records, keep them in a clinical system.
What is Coachful's free white-glove service?
It is a build service included on every Coachful plan. You describe what you want, such as a website, funnel, program or email sequence, attach references and files, and the Coachful team builds it inside your account, usually within about 24 hours. It does not include recording videos, logo design or ad management.
Can I use Delenta and upcoach together?
You can, with Delenta handling contracts and 1:1 sessions and upcoach running cohorts, but you would pay two subscriptions, upcoach's transaction fee, and ask clients to log into two places. Most coaches in that position are better served by one platform that covers both.
Which is best for a new coach?
For a new coach with a few private clients, Delenta Starter is the lowest-cost of the two. If you plan to launch a group program soon and want a website and email list from day one, Coachful's free white-glove build gets you set up quickly. See Coachful for new coaches.
