Dubsado Pricing in 2026: Plans, Fees and What Coaches Pay

Dubsado Pricing in 2026: Plans, Fees and What Coaches Pay

Dubsado pricing, as listed in October 2026, comes down to two plans: Starter at $35 a month or $335 a year, and Premier at $55 a month or $525 a year. Paying yearly works out to about $27.92 and $43.75 a month. There is no free plan, but a 21-day trial gives full Premier access with no credit card. Three additional users are included, larger teams pay $25 to $60 a month extra, and each additional brand costs $10 a month. Dubsado lists no platform fee of its own on client payments; your payment processor's rates apply.

For most coaches the number that matters is Premier, because the scheduler and automated workflows are Premier-only. Below you will find every plan and fee, three worked yearly totals, the tools you still pay for beside Dubsado, and a price comparison with HoneyBook, Practice Better, Bonsai and Coachful. We make Coachful, so we have kept every vendor fact to what each company publishes and said plainly where Dubsado is the better buy.

How much does Dubsado cost in 2026?

Dubsado costs $35 a month on Starter or $55 a month on Premier, or $335 and $525 a year on annual billing. Those prices apply to anyone who subscribed on or after December 1, 2025; Dubsado says earlier subscribers keep the rates they signed up at.

Dubsado pricing page comparing the Starter plan at $335 a year with the Premier plan at $525 a year
Dubsado's pricing page in October 2026.

One quirk to know before you sign up: Dubsado's pricing page shows only the yearly totals, with a note that annual billing gives "2 months worth of savings" and that all prices are in US dollars. The monthly prices come from the plan information page Dubsado publishes for AI assistants and search tools. If you plan to pay month to month, check the billing period at checkout so the yearly figure does not set your expectations.

Paying yearly saves $85 on Starter ($420 against $335) and $135 on Premier ($660 against $525). Both discounts are about 20%, a little more than the two months Dubsado advertises. The catch is the usual one for annual software: you commit for a year before you know whether the tool fits the way you coach.

Neither plan caps clients or projects, so Dubsado's price does not rise as your roster grows. Three things raise it instead: features (Starter to Premier), people (users past the included three) and businesses (each additional brand). That makes Dubsado predictable for a solo coach whose client count swings from month to month, which is a real advantage over tools that price by active clients.

What does each Dubsado plan include?

Both plans share Dubsado's core client-management tools; Premier adds the scheduling and automation that most coaches end up needing. Here is what each plan contains according to Dubsado's pricing page in October 2026, and what that means for a coaching practice.

Starter: $35 a month or $335 a year

Starter includes email integration, unlimited projects and clients, invoicing and payment plans, form and email templates, client portals, calendar connection, email and live chat support, mobile app access and one active lead capture form. Dubsado recommends it for people just starting out who want forms, invoicing, canned emails and client portals in one package.

For a coach, Starter covers the paperwork of a package sale: you can send a contract, bill a payment plan and give the client a portal to see their documents. What it does not cover is booking. Starter has no scheduler, so clients cannot pick a session time inside Dubsado, and it has no automated workflows, so every contract, invoice, questionnaire and reminder goes out by hand. One active lead capture form also means one inquiry form live at a time; a coach with a 1:1 offer and a group program cannot run a separate form for each.

If you choose Starter, plan for a separate scheduling tool. Our Calendly pricing breakdown shows what that adds, and the honest comparison is Starter plus a scheduler against Premier on its own.

Thinking of launching your coaching business?

Answer a few questions and Coachful builds it around you: your website, programs, booking and payments. Ready in minutes.

Build your platform

Premier: $55 a month or $525 a year

Premier adds scheduling, automated workflows, a bookkeeping integration, public proposals, Zapier and unlimited lead capture forms. Dubsado pitches it at business owners who are busy enough to need repeatable processes running without them.

For coaches, the scheduler and workflows are the reason to pay. Dubsado describes workflows as automated processes for repetitive tasks, and the obvious coaching use is the chain after an inquiry: proposal, contract, first invoice, intake form and a booking link, each sent without you pressing a button. Public proposals let you share proposals with clients and track their status, which suits coaches who sell packages with a choice of tiers. Unlimited lead forms let you run a different inquiry or application form per offer.

What neither plan includes

Dubsado says plainly that it does not include website building and is not an email marketing platform. It also has no courses, no client community and no habit tracking or check-ins. Its mobile app is a companion: Dubsado notes that full functionality needs the desktop web app. In practice that makes Dubsado a back office. It handles the business side of a coaching relationship (inquiry, contract, invoice, booking) and leaves the coaching itself to other tools.

What fees does Dubsado charge on top of the plan?

Dubsado lists no platform fee on client payments, no overage charges and no client limits. The extras are payment processing, users past the included three and additional brands.

Payment processing

Dubsado Payments runs on Stripe and accepts cards, ACH bank payments, Klarna and Affirm, plus Tap to Pay for in-person payments. You can connect PayPal or Square instead. Dubsado's pricing page does not print processing rates, so check them in your processor account before you set package prices.

Processing usually costs a coach more than the subscription. As an illustrative example only: a coach who bills $40,000 a year by card, at an example all-in card cost of 3%, pays about $1,200 a year in processing, more than double a Premier plan billed yearly. Bank transfers such as ACH often cost less than cards, so steering large package payments to them is one of the few levers you control. Our guide to coaching package pricing and checkout software covers how to build that into your offers.

Surcharging is newer: Dubsado Payments now lists an optional setting that passes card costs on to the client. Rules on card surcharges differ by country, by US state and by card network, and some places restrict them, so check with an accountant or attorney before you switch it on.

Users and brands

Dubsado's pricing page says "Enjoy 3 additional users for free", then lists 4 to 10 users at $25 a month. A coach with an assistant and two associate coaches pays nothing extra. Add a fourth person and the account moves to the $25 tier, or $300 a year. The next steps are $45 a month for 11 to 20 users and $60 a month for 21 to 30.

Brands suit coaches who run two businesses from one login, such as a coaching practice and a separate speaking or consulting brand, each with its own forms, templates and branding. Each additional brand is $10 a month, or $120 a year. If both offers sit under one name, you do not need a second brand.

What does a coach actually pay for Dubsado?

A solo coach pays $335 to $660 a year for Dubsado itself, and a small team with a second brand pays about $945 to $1,080, before processing and before the tools Dubsado does not replace. The three profiles below use only Dubsado's listed prices.

Coach profilePlan and add-onsPer year, billed yearlyPer year, billed monthlyStill needed beside Dubsado

Add-ons are listed as monthly prices, so we have counted them at 12 months in both columns. Payment processing comes on top in every row and scales with revenue, not with the plan.

The tools you still pay for

The right-hand column is where Dubsado's real cost sits for coaches. Dubsado itself says it is not a website builder or an email marketing platform, so a coach who wants to be found and to stay in touch with leads pays for both separately. Our breakdowns of Flodesk pricing for email, Kajabi pricing for courses and Skool pricing for community show what those layers cost on their own.

To work out your own number, write down five lines: Dubsado (from the table above), your website builder, your email tool, your course or community tool and your yearly processing. Add any scheduler if you are on Starter. That total, not the Dubsado subscription, is what you are really comparing when you look at alternatives. Our coaching pricing audit walks through the same exercise for your offers and delivery hours.

What hidden costs and gotchas come with Dubsado?

The main surprises are that Starter has no scheduler, that the pricing page shows only yearly totals, and that neither plan includes the tools coaches use to deliver their work.

  • Starter is a partial plan for coaches. Without a scheduler or workflows, most coaches either add a booking tool or upgrade within a few months. Treat Premier at $55 a month, or $525 a year, as the realistic entry price if clients book sessions with you.
  • Yearly totals on the pricing page. The page shows $335 and $525 a year; the monthly $35 and $55 sit elsewhere. Budget for the billing period you will actually choose.
  • Old prices in old articles. Dubsado's current prices apply to subscribers since December 1, 2025. Posts and forum threads written before then may quote figures that no longer apply, and a colleague on a legacy rate may pay less than you would for the same plan.
  • The fourth user. Three additional users are included. The fourth moves you to $25 a month, a 57% jump on a yearly Premier bill ($525 to $825).
  • One lead form on Starter. If you sell more than one offer, you will want a form per offer, and that is a Premier feature.
  • Desktop first. Dubsado's mobile app is a companion, and full functionality needs the desktop web app. If you run your business from a phone between sessions, test this during the trial.
  • No website or email marketing. Dubsado says so itself, so both are separate subscriptions with separate logins.
  • No client delivery layer. There are no courses, community, habits or check-ins, so clients log in to Dubsado for paperwork and somewhere else for the coaching.
  • Switching costs later. Dubsado's documentation, as of September 2026, describes exporting contacts to CSV with the fields you choose, and exporting invoice and bookkeeping data. Forms and templates did not carry over to other tools, and Dubsado's AI information page documents migration into Dubsado only. Rebuilding forms and workflows elsewhere takes time if you leave.
  • Setup time. Workflows are only as useful as the time you spend building them. Dubsado's site links to certified specialists you can hire for setup; budget for that separately if you go that route.
  • A thin review signal. Dubsado's Trustpilot page held a single review (3.7) when checked in October 2026, which is too few to judge by. The trial and Dubsado's live demo sessions tell you more.

Is Dubsado worth it for your kind of coaching?

Dubsado is worth it for coaches who mainly sell 1:1 packages and want tidy proposals, contracts, invoices and automated follow-up. It is a weaker buy for coaches whose value is delivered between sessions, in programs, courses or groups.

Business and executive coaches selling packages and retainers

This is Dubsado's best fit in coaching. Premier's public proposals, contracts and payment plans suit an engagement sold to one client or one company, with a clear scope and a series of invoices. If most of your work happens in live sessions and your clients do not need an app between them, Premier is good value. See our pages for business coaches and executive coaches, and our guide to retainer versus package pricing for structuring the offer itself.

Life, career and mindset coaches running multi-week programs

Partial fit. Dubsado will sell and invoice the program, but it has nothing for the weeks in between: no weekly goals, habits, check-ins or lessons. You would run delivery in a second tool and keep the two in sync by hand. Coaches in this group usually get more from a platform built for life coaches or career coaches that covers both sides.

Health, wellness and fitness coaches

Weak fit. These coaches tend to need daily habits, check-ins, progress tracking and, for fitness, workouts and nutrition targets, none of which Dubsado offers. Health and fitness coaching is also not medical treatment: if a client describes symptoms, a diagnosis or disordered eating, refer them to a doctor, dietitian or other licensed professional, and use software built for clinical records if your work moves into that territory. Our pages for health coaches and fitness and nutrition coaching show what a delivery-first setup looks like.

Group coaches and course creators

Weak fit. Dubsado has no courses and no client community, so a cohort or membership needs another platform for the group itself. Dubsado would only handle the sign-up paperwork. Our group coaching software page and group coaching pricing calculator cover what the group side needs.

New coaches

It depends. Starter's $335 a year is affordable, and unlimited clients means the price will not climb as you sign people. But a new coach usually needs a website, a booking page and an email list first, and Dubsado supplies none of the three on Starter. If you are starting from nothing, compare the cost of four tools against one; our guide for new coaches and package pricing guide help with the first offer.

Coaching teams

Reasonable fit for the back office. Three included users and a $25 monthly step for up to ten is gentle pricing for a small firm. Each associate coach still needs a way to deliver to their clients, though, so the delivery tools multiply with the team. See our page for coaching teams.

How does Dubsado pricing compare with the alternatives?

Dubsado is one of the cheaper client-workflow tools, but it covers the back office only, so the comparison changes once you count the tools it leaves out. Prices below are as listed in October 2026.

We rank on four criteria: one login for the whole client journey, delivery between sessions, total stack cost, and setup effort, including Coachful's free white-glove build.

On subscription alone, Dubsado holds up well. Premier at $55 a month undercuts HoneyBook Essentials at $59 for the tier with scheduling and automations, and Dubsado lets you bring PayPal or Square instead of requiring its own processor. Practice Better's Starter matches Dubsado Starter at $35 a month but caps you at 10 clients. Bonsai is cheapest per seat for a solo user, but every plan is priced per user, so a team pays for each login.

Where Dubsado falls behind is total stack cost for coaches who deliver programs. Dubsado plus a website builder, an email tool and a course or community platform is four subscriptions and four logins for you, and at least two for your client.

Which one looks like you?

Coachful builds your coaching website from a few answers, in a design chosen for your niche, with programs, booking and payments ready behind it.

Build your platform

What do you get with Coachful instead of Dubsado?

Coachful replaces Dubsado's back office and the delivery tools beside it with one membership (Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients). Booking, payments, agreements, programs, courses, community, a website with funnels, and email marketing all sit behind one login for you and one branded app for your client.

What Coachful is. A coaching platform where one subscription covers booking, payments, contracts, program delivery with habits and check-ins, courses, a community, a website with funnels and email, and an AI assistant. The company is based in Tallinn, Estonia, and holds a 4.5 rating on Trustpilot from 21 reviews.

Who it is for. Coaches who deliver programs, not just sessions; solo coaches growing into a small team; and coaches replacing four to six tools with one.

What it does not do. Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and does not sign a BAA, so it is not for clinical record-keeping or insurance billing. It does not take PayPal. The client app runs under the Coachful listing with your branding, not under your own App Store account. There is no Garmin, Fitbit, Whoop or Oura sync, no Salesforce or HubSpot integration, and no routing forms that pick a host from form answers. Affiliate tracking covers links, clicks, conversions and revenue, but payouts are recorded manually rather than sent by Coachful.

How to start. Start a free trial, then ask the Coachful team to build your website, funnel or first program for you with the free white-glove service. Monthly plans cancel in one click.

Booking pages handle availability rules, buffers, minimum notice and time-zone detection, with two-way Google, Apple/iCloud and Outlook calendar sync and built-in video or auto-created Zoom, Meet or Teams links. Reminders go by email, plus SMS 24 hours before and WhatsApp one hour before once messaging is enabled. You can take paid sessions, sell session credits and ask intake questions at booking. Payments run through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account, with one-time payments, subscriptions, payment plans, order bumps, coupons, refunds, Apple Pay, Google Pay and Stripe Tax. Coachful has charged a 0% platform fee since August 2026, so you pay only Stripe or Razorpay processing, the same principle as Dubsado. Each transaction produces an invoice, and you can send manual invoices too. More on our coaching payment software page.

What Dubsado leaves out, included in your Coachful membership

Multi-week programs come with weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins, goals with progress bars and streaks. Courses come with modules, lessons, drip release and completion tracking. Enrolling a client in a program creates the cohort group automatically, with a community feed, group chat, direct messages and video events. Each client record shows a status of thriving, active, quiet or at risk, so you see who needs attention before the next session.

On the marketing side, the section-based website builder has a blog, a custom domain, SEO settings and 30 designed homepage templates. Funnels cover booking, application, lead-magnet and checkout pages with pixels and UTM tracking, and email lists run broadcasts and multi-step sequences with triggers, delays, branching and A/B splits. That covers the website and email marketing Dubsado says it does not do. See our coach website builder page.

Michelle, the built-in AI assistant, works from your live practice data to build programs, draft emails and content, summarize recorded sessions and brief you before sessions. Questions and planning are included in the membership, while confirmed builds and changes use AI credits, so count those if you plan to have Michelle build a lot. Coaches working toward an ICF credential also get ICF hour tracking against ACC, PCC and MCC thresholds.

Pricing shape and switching

Coachful sells flat monthly plans. Lower plans cap the number of clients, Pro is unlimited, and the Studio and Agency team plans add coach seats with per-coach availability and staff permissions. The entry plan is Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients, a practice of 15 clients fits on Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients, and unlimited clients start at Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients.

If you are leaving Dubsado, your clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding, and you can export your full client data as a ZIP (roster, notes, check-ins, goals, habits, sessions and form responses) whenever you like. For the switch itself, read our guide to running client onboarding without Dubsado; the Coachful vs Dubsado comparison and Dubsado alternative page cover the feature differences.

Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. On every plan, you can open Create and choose "We'll build it for you", describe what you want, attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files such as logos, photos, brand guides and copy, and the Coachful team builds it inside your own account, usually within about a day. That covers websites, funnels, sales pages, programs, course outlines and written material, coaching flows, forms, email sequences, link-in-bio pages, lead quizzes, events and automations. Nothing is invented: no fake credentials, testimonials or prices, and gaps are left for you to fill. A somatic coach leaving Kajabi had the homepage and About page rebuilt and the contact form connected; a leadership coach with a Squarespace renewal days away got one clean homepage with a repeated "talk with me" button. It does not include recording videos, logo design, ad management or ongoing marketing. Read more about the white-glove service.

Dubsado remains the better choice in a few cases. If you need PayPal or Square, Dubsado supports both, while Coachful works through Stripe or Razorpay only. If you run several non-coaching service businesses under separate brands, Dubsado's $10 brand add-on is built for that. And if your coaching is purely live sessions with no delivery between them, Dubsado Premier may be all the software you need.

How do HoneyBook, Practice Better and Bonsai compare on price?

HoneyBook is Dubsado's closest like-for-like rival, Practice Better suits health practitioners who need clinical features, and Bonsai suits coaches who work like freelancers. Each is priced as listed in October 2026.

HoneyBook

HoneyBook homepage presenting its client management platform
HoneyBook's homepage in October 2026.

HoneyBook is a client-management CRM for service businesses with proposals, contracts, invoices, a scheduler and a client portal. Starter is $29 a month billed yearly, with unlimited clients and projects and two live lead forms; the monthly Starter price was not shown on its pricing page. Essentials is $59 a month ($49 yearly) for up to two team members and 10 lead forms, and Premium is $129 a month ($109 yearly) with unlimited team members, unlimited lead forms and multiple companies. The scheduler and automations start on Essentials, much as they start on Dubsado Premier. HoneyBook offers a 30-day trial with no credit card.

The main pricing difference from Dubsado is payments: HoneyBook is the processor, and its page lists card rates of both 2.7% + 10¢ and 2.9% + 25¢ in different places, plus 1.5% for ACH and 1% for instant deposit. Like Dubsado, it has no programs, courses, habits, check-ins or community. Full detail is in our HoneyBook pricing breakdown. Pick it over Coachful if you run a service business beyond coaching, want a polished proposal-to-invoice flow and are happy to process every payment through HoneyBook.

Practice Better

Practice Better homepage presenting its practice management platform for health practitioners
Practice Better's homepage in October 2026.

Practice Better is practice management and EHR software for health practitioners, including health coaches, nutritionists and dietitians. A free Sprout plan covers 3 clients. Starter is $35 a month ($25 billed yearly) for one practitioner and 10 clients; Professional is $69 a month for 300 clients and adds group scheduling, group messaging, fixed-date programs and payment plans; Plus is $99 a month for unlimited clients, three admin licenses, evergreen and self-paced programs, portal branding and SMS reminders; and Team is $155 a month for two practitioners, with more at $50 each. Paid plans have a 14-day trial, and the Team plan has 30 days.

Its pricing page lists HIPAA, PIPEDA and GDPR compliance, telehealth video, charting and billing and insurance features, which is a real difference from both Dubsado and Coachful. Full detail is in our Practice Better pricing breakdown. Pick it over Coachful if you are a licensed health practitioner who needs HIPAA-compliant records, charting or insurance billing alongside your programs.

Bonsai

Bonsai homepage presenting its business management software for freelancers and agencies
Bonsai's homepage in October 2026.

Bonsai is business management software for freelancers and agencies, with proposals, contracts, invoices, time tracking and projects. Every plan is priced per user: Basic is $15 a month ($9 yearly), Essentials $25 ($19 yearly), Premium $39 ($29 yearly) and Elite $59 ($49 yearly) with a minimum of three users. Basic has no invoicing or payments, so a coach who bills clients starts at Essentials. Bonsai offers a 7-day trial, and its own custom domain feature was still marked as expected in 2026.

Bonsai has no courses, community, client habits, check-ins or coaching programs. Full detail is in our Bonsai pricing breakdown. Pick it over Coachful if you work more like a consultant than a coach, and time tracking and project management matter more to you than client programs.

How can you save money on Dubsado?

The biggest savings come from building your setup during the free trial, paying yearly once you are sure, and keeping users and brands inside what is included.

  1. Build during the trial. The 21-day trial includes full Premier access and needs no credit card. Set up your forms, contracts and workflows before you pay, so the first paid month is a working month.
  2. Pay yearly once you are sure. Annual billing saves $85 on Starter and $135 on Premier. If you are not sure the tool fits, pay monthly for a quarter first.
  3. Choose Starter only if clients will not book through Dubsado. Starter plus a paid scheduler can cost close to Premier with less automation. Price both before you decide.
  4. Watch the fourth user. Three additional users are included; the fourth adds $25 a month. Remove logins for people who have left and share admin roles where you can.
  5. Use one brand unless you really run two businesses. Each additional brand is $120 a year.
  6. Cut processing costs. Offer bank payments for larger packages, and only consider surcharging after checking local rules with an accountant or attorney.
  7. Protect a legacy rate. If you subscribed before December 1, 2025, Dubsado says you keep your old rate. Ask Dubsado support how a plan change would affect it before you switch plans.
  8. Count the whole stack. If you pay for a website builder, an email tool and a course or community platform beside Dubsado, compare that total with an all-in-one platform. Our guide to coaching package pricing strategy shows how software costs fit into your offer prices.

What else do coaches ask about Dubsado pricing?

How much is Dubsado per month?

Dubsado Starter is $35 a month and Premier is $55 a month, as listed in October 2026. On annual billing they cost $335 and $525 a year, or about $27.92 and $43.75 a month. Prices are in US dollars.

Does Dubsado have a free plan?

No. Dubsado offers a 21-day free trial with full Premier access and no credit card required, then you choose Starter or Premier. The "Start for free" buttons on its site lead to that trial.

Is Dubsado's Starter plan enough for a coach?

Only if clients do not book sessions through Dubsado. Starter has invoicing, contracts, client portals and one lead form, but no scheduler and no automated workflows. Most coaches who book sessions end up on Premier or pay for a separate scheduler.

Does Dubsado charge transaction fees?

Dubsado lists no platform fee of its own on client payments. You pay your processor's rates through Dubsado Payments (built on Stripe), PayPal or Square. An optional surcharging setting can pass card costs on to clients where local rules allow it.

How much does it cost to add team members to Dubsado?

Three additional users are included on both plans. Beyond that, Dubsado lists 4 to 10 users at $25 a month, 11 to 20 at $45 a month and 21 to 30 at $60 a month, with larger teams asked to contact Dubsado.

Did Dubsado raise its prices?

The current prices apply to subscribers who joined on or after December 1, 2025, and Dubsado says earlier subscribers keep their old rates. Dubsado's listed prices were the same in September and October 2026. Older articles quoting different figures are likely describing pre-December 2025 pricing.

Can I take my data with me if I leave Dubsado?

Partly. Dubsado's documentation, as of September 2026, describes exporting contacts to CSV with fields you choose, plus invoice and bookkeeping data. Forms and templates were not portable, so plan time to rebuild them wherever you go next.

Is Dubsado good for health or fitness coaches?

It handles the paperwork, but it has no habits, check-ins, workouts, nutrition targets or programs, which is where most of a health or fitness coach's work happens. Coaches in these niches usually need a delivery platform beside it or instead of it. If you need HIPAA-compliant clinical records, look at software built for that, such as Practice Better.

Is Dubsado cheaper than Coachful?

Dubsado Premier is $55 a month, or $525 a year. Coachful sells flat monthly plans that rise with client count (Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients). The fairer comparison is total stack: Dubsado does not include the website, email marketing, courses, community or habit tracking that come in a Coachful membership, so add those tools to the Dubsado side before comparing.

What is Coachful's free white-glove service?

On every Coachful plan, you can ask the team to build a website, funnel, sales page, program, course outline, email sequence or other asset for you inside your own account, usually within about a day. You describe what you want and attach up to 8 links and 10 files. The team does not invent credentials, testimonials or prices, and it does not record videos, design logos or run ads.
