CoachAccountable Pricing in 2026: Plans, Fees and Real Costs

CoachAccountable Pricing in 2026: Plans, Fees and Real Costs

As listed in October 2026, CoachAccountable pricing starts at $20 a month for 2 active clients and rises with your active-client count: $40 for 5, $70 for 10, $120 for 20, $250 for 50, $400 for 100, and up to $4,000 a month for 1,000. Every tier includes the full feature set and unlimited coaches and admins. There is no annual discount, no add-on to buy, and a 30-day free trial with no credit card.

So the price depends on one number: how many clients are active in a given month. That suits a 1:1 coach with a steady, small roster. It gets expensive once you run group programs, because every member of a cohort is an active client. This guide covers every tier, the fees around it, what three different coaches would pay, the gaps you would fill with other tools, and how it compares with Coachful and five other coaching platforms. We make Coachful, so we say plainly where CoachAccountable is the better buy.

How much does CoachAccountable cost per month?

CoachAccountable costs between $20 and $4,000 a month, set by how many active clients you have. Only active clients count toward the bill, and every tier includes the same features. These are the steps published on its pricing page in October 2026.

Step between Level 7 and Level 8750$3,000None$4.00

The per-client column is simple division (monthly price over the client cap) and assumes you fill the tier. Real cost per client is higher, because most months you sit somewhere below the cap. Above 100 clients the rate flattens at $4 per active client per month; volume brings no further discount.

Two lines on the page settle questions buyers often ask. Asked whether there are discounts, the page answers "Nope!" And it states there are no add-ons to purchase. What you see in the ladder is the whole subscription bill.

What does each CoachAccountable plan include?

Every CoachAccountable plan includes the same features; the only difference between tiers is the active-client cap. You never pay more for a feature, and every plan allows unlimited coaches and admins.

Based on what the vendor documents, the feature set is a coaching back office built around accountability:

  • Sessions: session records and notes tied to each client.
  • Action plans: actions assigned to clients with due dates and follow-up.
  • Metrics: numbers clients report over time, which is where the "accountable" in the name comes from.
  • Worksheets: forms clients fill in before or between sessions.
  • Courses: structured content for clients inside the portal.
  • Invoicing and agreements: bills and coaching agreements kept with the client record.
  • Team access: unlimited coaches and admins on every tier, so a coaching firm pays for clients, not seats.
  • Records: an Export option on each client's tab exports their full coaching history, bulk CSV import brings clients in, and previous clients keep lifetime access to their records.

That flat feature model is a real strength. A coach on the $20 Starter tier gets the same tools as a firm on the $4,000 tier, so there is no feature upsell to plan around. The trade-off is that the bill scales with clients alone, whether they are paying you $5,000 for a year of executive coaching or $49 for a group challenge.

What the plans do not include matters just as much. In our September 2026 profile, CoachAccountable had no native mobile app, and no landing pages, website or marketing automation. Those jobs need other tools, which we cost out below.

Answer a few questions and Coachful builds it around you: your website, programs, booking and payments. Ready in minutes.

Build your platform

What fees does CoachAccountable charge beyond the plan?

Beyond the monthly tier, CoachAccountable lists no add-ons, no seat fees and no setup fee. The costs that remain are payment processing, the jump to the next tier when you add clients, and the separate tools for the jobs it does not cover.

Transaction and processing fees

CoachAccountable's pricing page does not state a platform cut on client payments. Payments run through your own processor account, and Stripe, Square or PayPal charge their standard processing fees on each payment. Those fees come out of your revenue no matter which coaching platform you use, so compare the processors' own published rates rather than treating them as a CoachAccountable cost.

Add-ons and overages

There are no add-ons. There are no overage charges in the usual sense either: if your active count grows past your cap, you move to the next step. The effect is the same as an overage, though, and it is lumpy. Client 11 takes you from $70 to $120 a month. Client 21 takes you from $120 to $200. Client 36 takes you from $200 to $250.

Seats

This is where CoachAccountable is generous. Every tier includes unlimited coaches and admins, so a firm with eight associate coaches sharing 50 clients pays $250 a month in total. Most coaching platforms charge per coach, which makes CoachAccountable unusually good value for a team with many coaches and modest client numbers. See our team coaching page for how seats work on Coachful.

What does a coach actually pay for CoachAccountable?

A typical solo coach pays $70 to $200 a month for CoachAccountable, which is $840 to $2,400 a year, before the website, email and community tools it leaves out. A coach running cohorts can pass $340 a month quickly. Here are three example practices; the client counts are illustrations, not survey data.

  • The new 1:1 coach: 8 active clients, booked mostly from referrals. Needs the 10-client tier.
  • The established solo coach: 25 active clients on 3 to 6 month packages. Needs the 35-client step.
  • The group program coach: 15 private clients plus a 45-person cohort, so 60 active clients. Needs the 75-client step.

Paperbell$97/month or $80.83/month billed annuallySame single planSame single planCourses, community, goal and habit tracking (September 2026 profile); processor fees

The CoachAccountable column is the subscription alone. For the new coach, $70 a month is a fair price for a structured back office. The established coach pays $200 a month even though 25 clients is only 71% of the 35-client cap, because nothing sits between 20 and 35. The group coach pays $340 a month. Without the cohort, 15 private clients would sit on the $120 tier, so the 45 cohort members add $220 a month even if each pays a much smaller fee.

The fourth column is where totals drift. A coach who needs a website, a lead-magnet page and a newsletter on top of CoachAccountable will add a site builder and an email tool, each on its own bill. Look at our Kit pricing breakdown for what an email tool costs at different list sizes, and run your numbers through the coaching pricing audit before you choose.

What are the hidden costs and gotchas in CoachAccountable pricing?

CoachAccountable's pricing is unusually transparent, so the gotchas are structural rather than hidden: per-client billing punishes group programs, tier steps are uneven, there is no annual discount, and several common jobs need separate tools.

Group programs multiply the bill

Per-client pricing treats a $49 challenge participant the same as a $6,000 executive client. If you launch a 40-person group program on top of 20 private clients, you move from $120 a month to $340 a month (the 75-client step) for the program's duration. Run two overlapping cohorts and you can reach the $400 tier or beyond. For group-first coaches, a flat plan with unlimited clients is usually cheaper; see our group coaching software page and the group coaching pricing calculator for the break-even maths.

Step jumps between tiers

The steps are not evenly spaced. Going from 20 to 21 active clients adds $80 a month. Going from 10 to 11 adds $50. If your roster hovers at a boundary, you pay the higher tier in the months you cross it. Watch the active count at the start of each billing cycle.

No annual discount

Most alternatives in the comparison below offer a lower rate for paying yearly. CoachAccountable does not offer annual pricing at all, so the monthly figure is also the best rate. That keeps you flexible, but it removes an easy saving that most alternatives offer.

Tools it leaves out

Our September 2026 profile lists no native mobile app and no landing pages, website or marketing automation. If you sell through a website, collect leads with a free guide, or nurture prospects by email, you will run those in other products and pay for them separately. Without a native app, clients reach their portal through a browser.

Health data and HIPAA

CoachAccountable's own statement in our September 2026 profile is that it is not HIPAA compliant. Coachful is not HIPAA-certified either and does not sign a BAA. If you are a covered entity under US health privacy law, read the HHS guidance on HIPAA and choose a vendor that will sign a business associate agreement. Check with an attorney if you are not sure whether the rules apply to you.

Is CoachAccountable worth the price for your kind of coaching?

CoachAccountable is worth the price for 1:1 coaches and coaching firms with steady, moderate rosters who want accountability tools and do not need marketing features. It is poor value for group-first coaches and for coaches who want one tool to run their website, sales and delivery.

Coach typeFit for CoachAccountableWhy
Executive or leadership coach with 5 to 20 high-fee clientsGood$40 to $120 a month is small against client fees, and action plans and metrics suit goal-heavy engagements. Our executive coaching page covers what Coachful adds.
Coaching firm with many coaches and 50 to 100 clientsStrongUnlimited coaches and admins on every tier means $250 to $400 a month covers the whole team.
New coach with 1 to 5 clientsFair$20 or $40 a month is cheap, but you will still need a website and email tool to find clients.
Group program or cohort coachWeakEvery cohort member is an active client, so a 50-person launch costs as much as 50 private clients.
Health, wellness or fitness coachDependsGood for check-ins and metrics, but no native app (September 2026 profile). Fitness and nutrition coaches should check for workout and meal-plan tools before buying. Coaching is not treatment: refer clients with medical, eating or mental health concerns to a licensed professional.
Coach who sells through funnels and contentWeakNo website, landing pages or marketing automation in the September 2026 profile, so you pay for a separate stack.

Public reviewers rate it well: CoachAccountable shows 4.8 on Trustpilot from 47 reviews as seen on 25 October 2026. A high rating does not tell you whether per-client billing fits your business model. That depends on your roster shape.

How does CoachAccountable pricing compare with the alternatives?

Against other coaching platforms, CoachAccountable is cheap at very small rosters and expensive above about 10 active clients, where flat or unlimited-client plans overtake it. The table compares entry price, the price at 25 clients, and the cheapest unlimited plan, as listed in October 2026 unless marked.

A few things stand out. At 25 clients, CoachAccountable costs about five times CoachVantage's entry plan and four times Simply.Coach's Growth plan, although CoachVantage's Clarity plan caps booking pages, sales pages and e-signatures. Paperbell's single $97 plan costs less than CoachAccountable from 11 active clients up, but leaves out courses, community and habit tracking. Practice Better's unlimited plan undercuts CoachAccountable's 20-client tier and suits wellness practitioners who chart. CoachAccountable's clear advantage is team pricing: none of these per-coach plans give unlimited coaches for the same money.

Which one looks like you?

Coachful builds your coaching website from a few answers, in a design chosen for your niche, with programs, booking and payments ready behind it.

Build your platform

What does Coachful include instead of CoachAccountable?

Coachful is a coaching platform where one subscription covers booking, payments, contracts, program delivery with habits and check-ins, courses, a community, a website with funnels and email, and an AI assistant. The coach has one login and the client has one branded app. It is built for coaches who deliver programs, not just sessions, for solo coaches growing into a small team, and for coaches replacing 4 to 6 tools.

Coachful's Create page with the build-it-for-you option on a monitor, next to the website template gallery on a laptop.

Coachful's pricing is a set of flat monthly plans. Lower plans cap the number of clients, Pro is unlimited, and team plans add coach seats (Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients). Monthly plans cancel in one click, and Coachful charges a 0% platform fee on client payments, so only Stripe or Razorpay processing comes out of each sale.

Between-session delivery that CoachAccountable users often bolt on

CoachAccountable is strong on action plans and metrics. Coachful covers similar ground with multi-week programs, weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins, goals with progress bars and streaks. Each client record holds goals, check-ins, habits, notes, intake answers, tags, payments and sessions, plus an AI briefing and a status of thriving, active, quiet or at risk. Our guide to tracking client habits without CoachAccountable walks through the setup.

Group programs work differently too. When a client enrolls in a program, Coachful creates the cohort group automatically, with a community feed, group chat, direct messages, video events, group calls and webinars. On Pro, which has no client cap, launching a new cohort does not change your bill.

Booking, payments and contracts

Booking pages have availability rules, buffers, minimum notice and time-zone detection, with two-way Google, Apple/iCloud and Outlook sync and built-in video or auto-created Zoom, Meet or Teams links. Reminders go by email, plus SMS and WhatsApp once messaging is enabled. Payments cover one-time charges, subscriptions, payment plans, order bumps, coupons, refunds, Apple Pay and Google Pay, with an invoice per transaction. Coaching agreements with e-signature go out before the first call and stay on the client record; see coaching contracts and coaching payment software.

The marketing stack CoachAccountable leaves out

Coachful includes a section-based website builder with a blog, custom domain, SEO settings and 30 homepage templates; booking, application, lead-magnet and checkout funnels with pixel and UTM tracking; a link-in-bio page that sells; and email lists, broadcasts and multi-step sequences with triggers, delays, branching and A/B splits. These are included in your Coachful membership, so the "tools still needed" column above stays short.

Michelle, the built-in AI assistant, works from your live practice data: she builds programs, drafts emails, summarizes recorded sessions and briefs you before each call. Questions and planning are included in the membership; confirmed builds and changes use AI credits. Coachful also tracks your coaching hours and distinct clients against ICF ACC, PCC and MCC thresholds and exports an ICF client coaching log (ICF hour tracking).

Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. On every plan, you can open Create and choose "We'll build it for you · FREE", describe what you need, and attach up to 8 reference links and 10 files. The Coachful team builds it inside your own account, usually within about 24 hours: a website, funnel, sales page, program, course outline, email sequence, form, link in bio or automation. Nothing gets invented; gaps are left for you to fill. One business mentor for beauty professionals got a 12-week mentorship sales page, a start-up guide funnel and rewritten follow-up emails. A leadership coach with a Squarespace renewal days away got one clean homepage with a repeated "talk with me" button. It does not include recording videos, logo design, ad management or ongoing marketing. Read more about the white-glove build service.

What Coachful does not do

Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and does not sign a BAA, so it is not for clinical record-keeping or insurance billing. It has no PayPal and no permanent free plan. The client app ships under the Coachful listing with your branding, not your own App Store account. There is no Garmin, Fitbit, Whoop or Oura sync, no Salesforce or HubSpot integration, and no multi-stage sales deal board for large teams. The affiliate program tracks links, clicks, conversions and revenue, but payouts are recorded manually. If you run a large firm where each coach handles few clients, CoachAccountable's unlimited coaches may cost less than Coachful's team seats.

How to start

Start a free trial, then request a white-glove build for your website or first program. During onboarding the team imports your clients, programs and content for you, and you can export all client data as a ZIP at any time. Compare plans on the plans page or read the overview of Coachful's coaching software.

How can you pay less for CoachAccountable?

The main lever is your active-client count: keep it under a tier boundary and you stay on the cheaper step. These six habits keep the bill down.

  1. Deactivate clients when engagements end. Only active clients count, and previous clients keep lifetime access to their records, so archiving finished clients costs you nothing in history.
  2. Check your count before each billing cycle. If you are at 21 active clients, closing out one finished engagement saves $80 that month.
  3. Stagger cohorts. Two overlapping group programs can push you two tiers up. Start the second cohort after the first one closes out.
  4. Use the 30-day trial with real data. Bulk-import your roster by CSV during the trial, count how many clients are truly active, and pick the tier from that number rather than a guess.
  5. Put the whole team on one account. Coaches and admins are unlimited, so associates should share one account rather than buying their own.
  6. Price the full stack. Add your website, email and community bills to the tier price. If those tools cost as much as the subscription, a single platform may be cheaper overall. Our CoachAccountable alternatives guide lays out options by stack.

Do not wait for a promotion or an annual deal: the pricing page says there are no discounts. Raising your own rates is often the better lever; see value-based pricing for coaches and pricing coaching packages.

How should you test CoachAccountable during the trial?

Use the 30 days to test the tasks you do every week, with real clients, before you commit to a tier. No credit card is needed, so the only cost is your time.

  1. Import five real clients and set up one action plan and one metric for each.
  2. Log a session with notes, then send an agreement and an invoice.
  3. Ask two clients to use it on their phones for a week, since there is no native app in our September 2026 profile.
  4. List every other tool you still need open (site, email, community) and add up their monthly bills.
  5. Project your active count for the next 12 months, including any cohort launches, and price it against the ladder.

Run the same five steps in a Coachful trial and you will have a like-for-like comparison of time and total cost. For a structured way to compare, see our CoachAccountable alternative page.

Frequently asked questions about CoachAccountable pricing

How much does CoachAccountable cost?

As listed in October 2026, CoachAccountable costs $20 a month for 2 active clients, $40 for 5, $70 for 10, $120 for 20 and $250 for 50. The ladder continues to $400 for 100 clients and $4,000 for 1,000. Every tier has the same features.

Does CoachAccountable have a free plan?

No. CoachAccountable has no free plan, but it offers a 30-day free trial with no credit card and no feature limits. After the trial, the smallest tier is $20 a month for 2 active clients.

Does CoachAccountable offer annual pricing or discounts?

No. The pricing page answers "Nope!" to the question of discounts, and there is no annual plan. You pay month to month at the tier that matches your active-client count.

What counts as an active client in CoachAccountable?

Only active clients count toward your tier; previous clients keep lifetime access to their records without counting. Group program members are clients too, so each one in a running cohort counts. Check the vendor's help pages for exactly when a client switches from active to inactive.

Does CoachAccountable charge per coach?

No. Every tier includes unlimited coaches and admins, which makes it good value for coaching firms with many coaches. You pay only for the number of active clients across the account.

Does CoachAccountable take a cut of client payments?

Its pricing page does not state a platform transaction fee. Payments go through processors such as Stripe, Square or PayPal (September 2026 profile), which charge their own standard fees on each payment.

Is CoachAccountable cheaper than Paperbell?

Up to 10 active clients, yes: the 10-client tier is $70 a month against Paperbell's $97. From 11 clients CoachAccountable costs $120 a month or more, so Paperbell's single plan becomes cheaper, though it lacks courses, community and habit tracking (September 2026 profile).

Is CoachAccountable HIPAA compliant?

By its own statement in our September 2026 profile, no. Coachful is not HIPAA-certified either. If you handle protected health information as a covered entity, choose a vendor that signs a business associate agreement and confirm the details with an attorney.

What is Coachful's white-glove build service?

It is a free service on every Coachful plan: you describe a website, funnel, program, course outline, email sequence or other asset, attach references, and the team builds it inside your account, usually within about 24 hours. It does not cover video recording, logo design or ad management. See the white-glove service guide.

Can I move my clients from CoachAccountable to another platform?

Yes. CoachAccountable has an Export option on each client's tab that exports their full coaching history. If you move to Coachful, the team imports your clients, programs and content during onboarding.
