Delenta vs Practice Better: Which Fits Coaches in 2026?

In the delenta vs practice better decision, the short answer is this: Delenta is a coaching practice platform built around a CRM, e-signed contracts and client portals, while Practice Better is practice management for wellness and nutrition practitioners, with charting, telehealth and clinical add-ons. If you coach leadership, life or career clients and sell packages, Delenta is the closer fit. If you run a nutrition or wellness practice that keeps charts and wants programs in a client portal, Practice Better is. If you deliver multi-week programs and want booking, payments, courses, community and a website under one login, a third option covers more than either.
We make Coachful, so we have a stake in this comparison. Below you will find what each vendor documents on its own pricing page (as listed in October 2026), what public reviewers report, and where each one is the better choice. We have not tested either product hands-on for this article; every vendor fact comes from their published pages. At the end we explain when Coachful beats both and when it does not.
What is the short answer by use case?
Pick by the kind of practice you run, not by the feature count. Here is the quick version before the detail.
- Solo executive, business or life coach selling packages: Delenta. Its Starter plan includes e-signed contracts, coaching logs, session notes, booking and a CRM, which is the core of a sessions-based practice.
- Nutritionist, dietitian or functional wellness practitioner: Practice Better. Charting, note templates, telehealth video, an AI charting add-on and even ePrescribe and fax show it is designed for clinical-style workflows.
- Coach who wants a free starting point: Practice Better, because its Sprout plan is free for 3 clients. Delenta has no free plan.
- Coach who needs PayPal: Delenta, which supports Stripe and PayPal. Practice Better uses its own Stripe-powered payments.
- Coach who delivers programs, courses and community, not just sessions: neither is ideal at entry level. Delenta locks its course creator and mobile app to Premium; Practice Better locks evergreen programs and portal branding to Plus. That is where an all-in-one like Coachful earns a look.
How do Delenta and Practice Better compare side by side?
Delenta leans toward the business side of coaching (leads, contracts, sales pages), and Practice Better leans toward the clinical side (charting, telehealth, note templates). We rank by four criteria that matter most to coaches: one login for the whole client journey, between-session delivery, total stack cost, and setup effort.
| Tool | Best for | Entry price | Unlimited clients from | Courses and programs | Website and funnels | Client app |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful | Coaches who deliver programs, courses and community, solo or small team | Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients | Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients | Programs with habits and check-ins, courses with drip, community, on every plan | Website builder, funnels, email sequences included | Branded app inside the Coachful app |
| Delenta | Sessions-based coaches who want CRM, contracts and portals | $29/mo (Starter, 10 client portals) | $79/mo (Premium) | Group coaching from Pro; course creator on Premium only | Profile landing page; sales pages and custom domain on Premium | Mobile app on Premium |
| Practice Better | Nutrition and wellness practitioners who chart | $0 (Sprout, 3 clients); $35/mo Starter | $99/mo (Plus) | Fixed-date programs from Professional; evergreen programs on Plus | No website builder or funnel pages (older profile) | Client portal; branding on Plus |
On review sites the picture is thin for Delenta. As listed in October 2026, Delenta shows 4.1 on Trustpilot from 5 reviews, a small base that tells you little. Practice Better shows 3.8 from 87 reviews. Coachful shows 4.5 from 21 reviews. None of these numbers should decide a purchase on its own; read the recent reviews that mention your use case.

What is Delenta, and who is it built for?
Delenta is a coaching practice platform: a CRM, booking, e-signed contracts, client portals and group coaching, with courses and a mobile app on its top solo plan. It is built for coaches who sell one-to-one and group packages and want the paperwork handled.
Its Starter plan covers more than most entry tiers do. Delenta lists lead management, a profile landing page, intake forms, booking with calendar sync, the CRM, session notes, tasks and goals, e-signed contracts, coaching logs, Zoom, Google Meet and Teams links, Stripe and PayPal payments, and Zapier. For an executive coach who mostly needs to sign a client, book them and keep notes, that list covers the job.
The limits show up as you grow. Starter caps you at 10 client portals and Pro at 40. Group coaching and group packages start on Pro. Custom domain, branded emails, unlimited sales pages, onboarding workflows, the course creator, subscriptions, events and the mobile app all sit on Premium. Multi-coach features (super admin, roles, coach payroll, HR reports, white label and HIPAA) require the Teams plan, which is priced per seat with no amount shown. "Delenta ai" is marked as coming soon on the pricing page.
Delenta's client-data export is not something we could verify from its published pages; CSV and XLS contact import is documented. If portability matters to you, ask during the trial what you can take with you. For a closer look at Delenta against our own platform, see Coachful vs Delenta, and if you are already leaving it, our Delenta alternative page covers the move.

What is Practice Better, and who is it built for?
Practice Better is practice management for wellness and nutrition practitioners: scheduling, telehealth video, charting with note templates, billing, programs and a client portal. Coaches use it, but its center of gravity is the clinical-style practice.
The add-on list makes that clear. As listed in October 2026, Practice Better sells an AI Charting Assistant (from $10 per practitioner per month), ePrescribe ($49 per month plus $99 onboarding per prescriber), PDMP access, fax at 10 cents a page, and a Connector Hub on Plus and Team. Most coaches will never need ePrescribe or fax, but a dietitian or functional nutrition practitioner might, and that is the audience Practice Better serves best. Our Practice Better EHR guide explains what those clinical features mean in practice.
Its free Sprout plan (3 clients, 1 practitioner, 100 MB) is a real advantage for students and new practitioners. Paid plans then step up quickly on client count: Starter covers 10 clients, Professional 300, and Plus is unlimited. The catch is that features coaches care about are spread across those tiers. Group scheduling, fixed-date programs, deposits and payment plans and Zapier start on Professional. Evergreen self-paced programs, portal branding, a personalized URL and SMS start on Plus. Below the Team plan, each account has one practitioner.
An older profile we hold notes no website builder or funnel pages, so you will likely pair Practice Better with a separate site. For a deeper read, see our full Practice Better review and Practice Better for coaches.
How does pricing compare between Delenta and Practice Better?
Delenta is cheaper at the top of its solo range; Practice Better is cheaper to start, because it has a free plan, and covers far more clients per dollar on its middle tier. The right answer depends on how many clients you serve and whether you need courses.

| Plan | Monthly | Billed yearly (per month) | Client limit | What it adds |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful (all plans) | Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients | Flat monthly plans; cancel in one click | Lower plans cap clients; Pro is unlimited | Booking, payments, contracts, programs, courses, community, website, funnels, email and AI assistant on every plan |
| Delenta Starter | $29 | $19.08 ($229 a year) | 10 client portals, 1 seat, 1 GB | CRM, booking, contracts, coaching logs, intake forms, Stripe and PayPal |
| Delenta Pro | $49 | $39.08 ($469 a year) | 40 client portals, 5 GB, up to 6 calendars | Group coaching, group video sessions, group packages, branded landing page |
| Delenta Premium | $79 | $58.25 ($699 a year) | Unlimited client portals, 100 GB | Custom domain, branded emails, sales pages, onboarding workflows, course creator, mobile app |
| Delenta Teams | Per seat, not shown | Not shown | Multiple coaches | Roles, coach payroll, HR reports, white label, HIPAA |
| Practice Better Sprout | $0 | $0 | 3 clients, 100 MB | Free plan for students and new practitioners |
| Practice Better Starter | $35 | $25 | 10 clients, 1 GB | Scheduling, telehealth, billing, messaging, portal, forms, note templates |
| Practice Better Professional | $69 | $59 | 300 clients, 5 GB | Group scheduling, fixed-date programs, deposits, payment plans, Zapier |
| Practice Better Plus | $99 | $89 | Unlimited clients, 3 admins | Evergreen programs, portal branding, custom URL, 750 SMS a month |
| Practice Better Team | $155 | $145 | 2 practitioners (+$50 each, up to 200) | Roles, team scheduling, team chat, workflows, 2,000 SMS a month |
A few details on those pages are worth knowing before you sign up. Delenta's annual per-month figures are derived from its yearly totals, and the page uses "$" without naming a currency. Its trial is described as 14 days in the headline and 7 days in the FAQ, so confirm the length when you start; no credit card is required. Practice Better offers 14 days on paid plans and 30 days on Team, and its Professional card says "Save $84/year" while the table shows $59, which implies a slightly different figure. Neither vendor lists a platform fee on client payments; Delenta says "no additional transaction fees", with Stripe or PayPal processing on top, and Practice Better runs payments through Stripe without listing rates on the pricing page.

What would a typical coach actually pay?
These are examples built from the listed monthly prices, not quotes. Add-ons, SMS and processing fees change the totals.
| Tool | Solo coach, 10 one-to-one clients | 25 clients plus a group program | Self-paced course and branded portal | Two coaches sharing a practice |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful | Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients | Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients | Courses on every plan: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients | Team plans add coach seats |
| Delenta | $29/mo (Starter) | $49/mo (Pro, 40 portals) | $79/mo (Premium) | Teams, price on request |
| Practice Better | $35/mo (Starter) | $69/mo (Professional, fixed-date programs) | $99/mo (Plus) | $155/mo (Team, 2 practitioners) |
Remember the tools you would add on top. With Practice Better, you probably need a separate website and email marketing tool. With Delenta below Premium, you may need a course platform and a domain-hosted site. Those extra subscriptions are often what decides the real cost.
How do the core features compare?
Both cover booking, payments, forms and a client portal. They differ in contracts, programs, courses, marketing and clinical tools.
Scheduling and video
Delenta includes booking with calendar sync and links for Zoom, Google Meet and Teams from Starter, with up to 6 calendars on Pro and group video sessions on Pro. Practice Better includes scheduling and its own telehealth video from Starter, with group scheduling on Professional and team scheduling on Team. If you already run sessions on Zoom, Delenta's approach is familiar. If you want video inside the same tool as your notes, Practice Better's built-in telehealth is convenient. Our Calendly vs Practice Better comparison covers its booking side in more depth.
Contracts and intake
Delenta includes e-signed contracts on every plan, which matters for coaches who need a signed agreement before the first session. Practice Better offers forms and note templates from Starter; e-signed coaching contracts are not listed on its pricing page, so check how its forms handle agreements before relying on them. If contracts are central to your practice, read our guide to coaching contracts.
Programs and courses
This is where the two differ most for coaches. Delenta lists tasks and goals from Starter, group coaching from Pro and a course creator on Premium only. Practice Better lists fixed-date programs from Professional and evergreen, self-paced programs plus program templates on Plus. Neither documents daily habit tracking or morning and evening check-ins on its pricing page. If your offer is a 12-week program rather than a stack of sessions, look closely at what each program builder delivers to the client day to day.
Payments and invoicing
Delenta supports Stripe and PayPal, with subscriptions and events on Premium. Practice Better uses Practice Better Payments, powered by Stripe, with deposits and payment plans on Professional. PayPal users should note that difference.
Marketing: website, funnels and email
Delenta gives you a profile landing page on Starter, a branded landing page on Pro and custom domain, unlimited sales pages and branded emails on Premium. Practice Better offers broadcasts (10,000 a month on Plus) and SMS, but our older profile notes no website builder or funnel pages. Neither is a full website and funnel builder, so most coaches pair either one with a separate site.
Clinical tools and compliance
Practice Better clearly wins for practitioners who chart. Its note templates, AI Charting Assistant, ePrescribe, PDMP and fax are clinical tools a coaching CRM does not offer. Delenta lists HIPAA only on its Teams plan. If you handle protected health information in the United States, read the HHS guidance for HIPAA covered entities and confirm with the vendor that it will sign a business associate agreement before storing any clinical record.
A note on scope for health and wellness coaches: coaching is not medical treatment. Coaches support behavior change, accountability and goals; diagnosis, prescriptions and treatment plans belong with a licensed clinician. If a client reports symptoms, disordered eating, medication questions or a condition outside your training, refer them to their doctor or a qualified professional.
Teams and multiple coaches
Practice Better publishes its team price: $155 a month for 2 practitioners, then $50 per extra practitioner up to 200. Delenta's Teams plan adds roles, coach payroll and HR reports but shows no price, so you will need a sales conversation. Below their team tiers, both are single-practitioner tools.
Data export
Practice Better documents a per-client archive (notes, invoices, forms) that is emailed and kept for 48 hours, plus a contact spreadsheet and bulk export on request (older profile). Delenta's client-data export is not documented on the pages we reviewed. If you think you may switch later, our guide to migrating from Practice Better shows what to export first.
What is the client experience like in each?
Delenta gives each client a portal with their sessions, tasks, goals and contracts; Practice Better gives clients a portal for booking, forms, messaging and programs. The difference is in polish and branding by tier.
In Delenta, the client's portal count is the plan limit (10 on Starter, 40 on Pro), and the mobile app plus custom branding arrive on Premium. So on the lower plans your clients use a generic portal, which is fine for executive clients who mostly need a place to sign and book.
In Practice Better, the client portal is included from Starter, but portal branding and a personalized URL arrive on Plus. Our Practice Better client portal guide and Practice Better app overview describe what clients see in more detail.
What both portals have in common is that they center on sessions and records. Between sessions, clients see tasks or program content, but neither pricing page documents a daily routine of habits, streaks and morning and evening check-ins. If your results depend on what clients do on the days you do not meet, that is the gap to test hardest during a trial.
Which should you pick for your type of coaching?
Match the tool to the practice you have now and the one you plan to have in a year.
- Executive and leadership coaches: Delenta suits a practice built on contracts, session notes and coaching logs. See also our page for executive coaches.
- Dietitians, nutritionists and functional practitioners: Practice Better, for charting, telehealth and programs. Our nutrition coach alternatives list is useful if it feels too clinical.
- Health and wellness coaches who are not clinicians: either can work, but you may pay for clinical features you never use. Look at our page for health coaches and the Practice Better alternatives for health coaches.
- Life and career coaches selling packages: Delenta's Starter or Pro covers the admin. If you also want a course or community, compare against all-in-one options on our life coach page.
- Brand-new coaches on a tight budget: Practice Better's free Sprout plan lets you start with 3 clients. Delenta's yearly Starter at $229 is the lowest paid option between the two.
- Coaches running group programs: Delenta Pro for group packages, Practice Better Professional for fixed-date programs. Both stop short of a community feed, so read on.
What is the third option, and when does Coachful beat both?
Coachful is a coaching platform where one subscription covers booking, payments, contracts, program delivery with habits and check-ins, courses, a community, a website with funnels and email, and an AI assistant. The coach has one login and the client has one branded app. It is built for coaches who deliver programs, not just sessions, for solo coaches growing into a small team, and for coaches replacing four to six separate tools.

Coachful beats both Delenta and Practice Better in four situations:
- Your results happen between sessions. Multi-week programs come with weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins, goals with progress bars and streaks. Clients see these in their branded home and app, and the client record shows whether each person is thriving, active, quiet or at risk.
- You sell courses and community as well as sessions. Courses with modules, lessons, drip and completion tracking, a community feed, group chat, video events and cohort groups created automatically on enrollment are included in your Coachful membership, rather than unlocked on a top tier.
- You want your website and marketing in the same place. A section-based website builder with 30 designed homepage templates, booking, application, lead-magnet and checkout funnels, and email sequences with branching all live beside your client records.
- You do not want to build it all yourself. The white-glove service described below means the setup work is done for you.

Here is a short walkthrough of how programs are built and delivered in Coachful:
How Coachful handles the admin both tools cover
Booking pages support availability rules, buffers, minimum notice and time-zone detection, with two-way Google, Apple and Outlook calendar sync and built-in video or auto-created Zoom, Meet and Teams links. Reminders go out by email, plus SMS and WhatsApp once messaging is enabled. Coaching agreements with e-signature are sent before the first call and stored on the client record. Payments run through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account, with subscriptions, payment plans, coupons, Apple Pay and Google Pay, and there is no Coachful platform fee on client payments (since August 2026), only Stripe or Razorpay processing.

For credentialed coaches, Coachful tracks coaching hours and distinct clients against ICF ACC, PCC and MCC thresholds and exports an ICF client coaching log; see ICF hour tracking. Michelle, the built-in AI assistant, works from your live practice data to draft programs and emails, summarize recorded sessions and brief you before each call. Wellness coaches who also coach fitness or nutrition can add the Fitness & Nutrition pack with workout building, nutrition targets, meal plans and weekly check-ins.

Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service
Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. From Create, then "We'll build it for you", you describe what you want and the Coachful team builds it inside your own account, usually within about 24 hours. That can be a website, a funnel, a sales page, a program, a course outline and written material, an email sequence, a form, a lead quiz or an automation. You can attach up to 8 reference links and up to 10 files such as logos, photos and existing copy. Nothing gets invented: no fake credentials, testimonials or prices, and gaps are left for you to fill. It does not include recording videos, logo design, ad management or ongoing marketing.
Recent builds give a sense of scope. A menopause and midlife health coach starting from nothing received a five-page site in sage and cream, with every button leading to a free 20-minute consultation. A business mentor for beauty professionals received a 12-week mentorship sales page, a free start-up guide funnel and rewritten follow-up emails. During onboarding, clients, programs and content are also imported for you, which takes most of the pain out of leaving Delenta or Practice Better. Read more about the free white-glove service.

When Coachful is not the right choice
Be honest with yourself about these limits before switching:
- You keep clinical records or bill insurance. Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and does not sign a BAA. Practice Better, with its charting and clinical add-ons, fits that work better.
- You need PayPal. Coachful has no PayPal; Delenta supports it.
- You want a permanent free plan. Coachful offers a free trial but no free plan, while Practice Better's Sprout is free for 3 clients.
- You need the client app under your own App Store listing. Coachful's client app carries your branding inside the Coachful app.
- You need wearable sync. There is no Garmin, Fitbit, Whoop or Oura sync, and Apple Health sync is not publicly available.
- You run a large sales team. There is no multi-stage deal board for large teams and no Salesforce or HubSpot integration.
How to start with Coachful
Start a free trial, then request a white-glove build of whatever you need first, often the website or your main program. Current plans: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients. What do the rankings look like with all three side by side?
Ranked on one login for the whole client journey, between-session delivery, total stack cost and setup effort, here is how the three tools land for a typical coach who sells programs.
| Tool | Rank | One login for the journey | Between-session delivery | Setup help | Pick it over Coachful if... |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful | 1 | Booking, payments, programs, courses, community, website and email in one | Habits, check-ins, streaks, goals, community | Free white-glove build; import done for you | Not applicable |
| Delenta | 2 | Strong admin core; site and courses on Premium | Tasks and goals; group coaching from Pro | Setup concierge listed, price not shown | You need PayPal or a contract-centric CRM for executive work |
| Practice Better | 3 | Strong clinical core; no website builder | Programs; evergreen on Plus | Self-serve | You chart, need telehealth or clinical add-ons, or want a free plan |
If neither Delenta nor Practice Better fits, our list of Practice Better alternatives and the Simply.Coach vs Delenta comparison cover more tools in the same category.
How hard is it to switch between these tools?
Switching is mostly about exporting client records and rebuilding programs, and the effort depends on what the old tool lets you take. Plan the move before a renewal date, not after.
- Export first. From Practice Better, request per-client archives (kept for 48 hours, so download promptly) and your contact spreadsheet. From Delenta, ask support what client data you can export, since it is not documented on its public pages.
- List your active offers. Write down every package, program and recurring payment so nothing is dropped.
- Move payments carefully. Subscriptions tied to one processor account do not always move automatically. Tell clients before the next billing date.
- Rebuild programs and content. In Coachful, clients, programs and content are imported for you during onboarding.
- Run both for one cycle. Keep the old tool until every client has booked their next session in the new one.
Our step-by-step checklist for switching from Practice Better applies to Delenta too.
Frequently asked questions
Is Delenta or Practice Better better for life coaches?
Delenta is usually the better fit for life coaches, because its Starter plan includes e-signed contracts, coaching logs, session notes and a CRM. Practice Better's clinical features, such as charting templates and ePrescribe, are aimed at wellness and nutrition practitioners. If you also want courses, community and a website in one place, compare an all-in-one coaching platform as well.
Which is cheaper, Delenta or Practice Better?
Practice Better is cheaper to start because its Sprout plan is free for 3 clients. Among paid plans, Delenta Starter is $29 a month versus $35 for Practice Better Starter, both for 10 clients. At the top of the solo range, Delenta Premium is $79 a month against $99 for Practice Better Plus, as listed in October 2026.
Does Delenta have a free trial?
Yes. Delenta's pricing page headline mentions a 14-day free trial, while its FAQ refers to 7 days of unlimited access, and no credit card is required. Confirm the length when you sign up.
Is Practice Better HIPAA compliant, and does Delenta offer HIPAA?
Delenta lists HIPAA on its Teams plan only. Practice Better is built for clinical-style practices, but you should confirm its compliance terms and business associate agreement directly before storing protected health information. The overview of HIPAA explains when the law applies.
Can I take PayPal payments with either tool?
Delenta supports Stripe and PayPal. Practice Better uses Practice Better Payments, powered by Stripe. Coachful also does not support PayPal, so if PayPal is essential, Delenta is the one of these three that offers it.
Which tool is better for group coaching programs?
Delenta adds group coaching, group video sessions and group packages on Pro. Practice Better adds group scheduling and fixed-date programs on Professional, with evergreen programs on Plus. Coachful includes group programs, cohort groups, a community feed and group calls on every plan.
Do Delenta or Practice Better include a website builder?
Delenta includes a profile landing page from Starter and custom domains with unlimited sales pages on Premium. Practice Better does not include a website builder or funnel pages according to our older profile. Coachful includes a website builder with funnels and email in the membership.
What is Coachful's free white-glove service?
It is a build service available on every Coachful plan. You describe what you need, such as a website, funnel, program or email sequence, attach references, and the Coachful team builds it inside your account, usually within about 24 hours. It does not include recording videos, logo design or ad management.
Can I move my clients from Delenta or Practice Better to Coachful?
Yes. Export what each tool allows, then during Coachful onboarding your clients, programs and content are imported for you. Practice Better's per-client archives are kept for only 48 hours after they are emailed, so download them as soon as they arrive.
Is Coachful a good fit for dietitians?
Not if you keep clinical records or bill insurance, because Coachful is not HIPAA-certified. Coachful suits nutrition and wellness coaches who deliver programs, habits and check-ins rather than clinical care, and a clinical practice is better served by Practice Better or a dedicated clinical system.
