Vibly vs Simply Coach: Which Fits Your Coaching in 2026?

Vibly vs Simply Coach comes down to who you are building for. Vibly is coaching management software aimed mainly at coaching organizations: firms, employers, wellness programs, clinics and coach networks, with an operations portal, two-way HubSpot sync and HIPAA compliance with a signed BAA. Simply.Coach is a coaching practice platform for solo coaches and coaching businesses, with contracts, programs, booking pages and a client portal, but with caps on clients, contracts and programs on every solo tier below its top plan. If you need HIPAA, pick Vibly. If you are a solo coach with a small, steady client list, Simply.Coach's lower tiers are cheap.
There is also a third option most coaches should weigh before deciding: Coachful, which puts booking, payments, contracts, programs, courses, community, a website with funnels and email in one subscription with one branded app for clients. We make Coachful, so we will be plain about where it beats both tools and where it does not. Vendor facts below are as listed in October 2026 on each vendor's own pricing pages.
What is the short answer for each type of coach?
Pick by your situation, not by feature counts. Here is the quick version before the detail.
- You run or sell into a coaching organization (a firm with a coach roster, an employer program, a clinic): Vibly. It is built around client assignment, sponsor reports and HubSpot.
- You need HIPAA and a BAA: Vibly. Simply.Coach's pricing pages do not list HIPAA, and Coachful is not HIPAA-certified.
- You are a solo coach with three to seven clients and simple 1:1 work: Simply.Coach Starter or Essentials is a low-cost start, as long as you can live with the caps.
- You manage a team of coaches under sponsor contracts: compare Vibly Teams with Simply.Coach's per-coach business tiers. Both handle it; the price math differs a lot by team size.
- You deliver programs between sessions, want a website and funnels, and want clients in one branded app: Coachful. Neither Vibly nor Simply.Coach lists a website builder, funnels or email sequences on its pricing pages.
If you are already on Simply.Coach and weighing a move, our Simply Coach review and the wider Simply.Coach alternatives ranking go deeper on that one tool.
How do Vibly, Simply.Coach and Coachful compare side by side?
We compared the three on the things that decide a coaching stack in practice: one login for the whole client journey, between-session delivery, total stack cost, and setup effort (including Coachful's free white-glove build).
| Tool | Built mainly for | Entry price | Client caps | HIPAA / BAA | Website and funnels | Client app |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful | Coaches who deliver programs, solo coaches growing into a small team | Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients | Lower plans cap clients; Pro is unlimited | No (not HIPAA-certified) | Yes: website builder, funnels, email sequences | Coach's branding inside the Coachful app |
| Vibly | Coaching organizations: firms, employers, wellness programs, clinics, coach networks | $25/mo Basic ($20/mo billed annually) | Not shown on the plans page; Basic and Pro are solo seats | Yes, with a BAA | Not listed | Browser portal; no native app mentioned |
| Simply.Coach | Solo coaches and coaching businesses | $9 Starter | 3, 7 and 30 coachees below Leap; Leap unlimited | Not listed on pricing pages | Not listed | Client portal; white-label on Leap |
Two things stand out. Vibly is the only one of the three with HIPAA and a BAA, and the only one with a two-way HubSpot sync and an operations portal for coach rosters. Simply.Coach is the cheapest way in, but every solo tier below Leap limits active coachees, contracts and programs, so the price you start on is rarely the price you stay on.
What does Vibly offer coaches?
Vibly is coaching management software built mainly for organizations. Its site describes an operations portal for coach rosters, client assignment and sponsor reports, a two-way HubSpot sync, an API, built-in video, Stripe payments, programs, group cohorts and events, plus HIPAA compliance with a business associate agreement.

The organizational focus shows in what Vibly emphasizes. A coaching firm that assigns clients to coaches, reports progress to a sponsoring employer and keeps its sales pipeline in HubSpot will find those jobs named directly. A solo coach can use Vibly too: the Basic and Pro plans are single-coach seats. But much of the product's weight sits in features a solo practice does not use.
A few points to check during the 14-day trial:
- Client portal. Vibly's client portal runs in the browser. No native mobile app is mentioned on its site as of October 2026.
- AI add-on. Vibly advertises an AI add-on at $20/month with the first month free, but labels it "Coming Soon" with a waitlist. Do not count on it today.
- Plan differences. Vibly's feature list and comparison table disagree in places, so confirm which features sit on Basic versus Pro before paying for a year.
- Data export. We found no public help article documenting a full data export. Ask support how you would leave before you move clients in.
Public reviewers rate Vibly well: 4.9 out of 5 from 22 reviews on Capterra, seen on 29 October 2026. That is a small sample, so read the individual reviews for your use case.
What does Simply.Coach offer coaches?
Simply.Coach is a coaching practice platform: contracts, programs, sessions, booking pages, survey forms and a client portal, with separate business tiers for coaching companies. It supports both 1:1 and group coaching from the first paid plan.

The solo plans grow by limits rather than by product. Starter gives you 3 active coachees, 1 contract, 1 program, 1 GB and 1 calendar. Essentials lifts that to 7 coachees, 3 contracts, 3 programs and 10 GB. Growth allows 30 coachees, 10 contracts and programs, 50 GB and 3 calendars, and adds recurring sessions, your logo and onboarding help. Leap removes the client, contract and program caps, raises storage to 100 GB and adds a white-labelled platform on your own domain.
The business tiers (CoCreate, Surge and Optima) are priced per active coach, with client allowances per coach and extra roles: program managers and sponsors on Surge, and on Optima email white-labelling, coach payouts, coach matching, NPS and automated reports.
Things to know before you sign up:
- Invoicing. Automated invoices are marked "Coming Soon" on the solo pricing page as of October 2026.
- Payments. The pricing pages do not state which payment processors are supported or whether transaction fees apply. Ask before you plan your checkout.
- Refunds. Simply.Coach does not refund mid-period cancellations.
- Billing period. Headline prices do not state the billing period. The site advertises "save up to 52% on annual", but only Essentials shows an annual figure (US$290 per year). USD prices are tax-inclusive; INR pricing is also offered.
- Export. Simply.Coach's site stated in September 2026 that all data can be exported to spreadsheets.
For a full breakdown of Simply.Coach on its own, see Simply Coach pricing in 2026. In September 2026 its G2 profile showed 4.8 from 146 reviews.
How does Vibly pricing compare with Simply.Coach pricing?
Simply.Coach is cheaper at the very bottom and more expensive once you pass a handful of clients; Vibly is simpler, with no client caps shown on its solo plans. The table below lists every plan as published in October 2026, with Coachful first for reference.
| Tool and plan | Monthly price | Billed annually | Main limits |
|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful (flat monthly plans) | Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients | Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients | Lower plans cap clients; Pro unlimited; team plans add seats |
| Vibly Basic | $25 | $20/mo | Solo coach |
| Vibly Pro | $59 | $50/mo | Solo coach |
| Vibly Teams | $149 | Not shown | 2 seats, then $50 per extra seat |
| Vibly Enterprise | Custom | Custom | Demo only |
| Simply.Coach Starter | $9 | Not shown | 3 coachees, 1 contract, 1 program, 1 GB |
| Simply.Coach Essentials | $29 | $290/yr ($24.17/mo) | 7 coachees, 3 contracts, 3 programs, 10 GB |
| Simply.Coach Growth | $49 | Not shown | 30 coachees, 10 contracts/programs, 50 GB |
| Simply.Coach Leap | $69 | Not shown | Unlimited coachees, contracts, programs; 100 GB |
| Simply.Coach CoCreate | $79 per active coach | Not shown | 10 clients per coach |
| Simply.Coach Surge | $159 per active coach | Not shown | 25 clients per coach; 2 program managers, 5 sponsors |
| Simply.Coach Optima | $289 per active coach | Not shown | 50 clients per coach; unlimited managers and sponsors |

What do they cost for a real practice?
Here are worked examples using list prices only. They are illustrations, not quotes; your tax, currency and billing period will change the totals.
| Tool | Solo, 5 clients | Solo, 20 clients | Solo, 40 clients | Three coaches, 10 clients each |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Coachful | Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients | Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients | Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients | Team plans add seats (Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients) |
| Vibly | Basic, $25/mo | Basic, $25/mo | Basic, $25/mo | Teams, $149 + $50 = $199/mo |
| Simply.Coach | Essentials, $29 | Growth, $49 | Leap, $69 | CoCreate, 3 x $79 = $237 |
Vibly's solo price looks very low against Simply.Coach once your client count grows, because no client cap is shown on Basic. The comparison is not quite like for like, though: check which features Basic includes, because Vibly's own comparison table and feature list disagree in places.
The bigger cost question is what else you pay for. Neither Vibly nor Simply.Coach lists a website builder, funnels or email sequences on its pricing pages. A coach who also pays for a website host, an email tool and a course platform should add those to the monthly figure before comparing. That total stack cost is where an all-in-one tool usually wins.
Which has better scheduling and sessions?
Both cover the basics of booking; Vibly adds built-in video, while Simply.Coach gates multiple calendars and recurring sessions behind Growth.
Simply.Coach includes booking pages from Starter, with 1 calendar on Starter and 3 calendars on Growth. Recurring sessions arrive on Growth too, so a coach who runs weekly standing calls needs at least the $49 plan. Vibly lists built-in video alongside its booking, which saves a separate Zoom account for some coaches.
Coachful's scheduling covers booking pages with availability rules, buffers, minimum notice and time-zone detection; two-way Google, Apple/iCloud and Outlook sync; built-in video or auto-created Zoom, Meet and Teams links; and email reminders plus SMS (24 hours before) and WhatsApp (1 hour before) once messaging is enabled. Intake questions on booking, paid sessions and session credits are included, and multi-coach session types can assign by round-robin or least-busy coach. More on that at scheduling software for coaches.

How do contracts, payments and invoices compare?
Simply.Coach is strongest on contracts but has automated invoices marked "Coming Soon"; Vibly takes Stripe payments with no Vibly fee on client payments.
Contracts are central to Simply.Coach: every solo plan counts them, from 1 on Starter to unlimited on Leap. That suits coaches who run formal engagements, for example executive coaching with a sponsor. The pricing page does not say which payment processors are supported, and invoice automation is still listed as coming soon, so check how you would collect payment before you commit.
Vibly takes payments through Stripe and states it charges no fee of its own on client payments; you pay Stripe's processing fees. It does not mention PayPal.
Coachful sends coaching agreements with e-signature before the first call and stores them on the client record. Payments run through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account: one-time, subscriptions, payment plans, order bumps, coupons, refunds, Apple Pay and Google Pay, and Stripe Tax, with an invoice per transaction plus manual invoices. Coachful has charged a 0% platform fee since August 2026; you pay only Stripe or Razorpay processing. It does not support PayPal. See coaching contracts and coaching payment software for detail.

Which is better for teams and coaching organizations?
Vibly, for most organizations, because roster management, client assignment, sponsor reports and HubSpot sync are its core. Simply.Coach's business tiers are a close second for firms that want coach matching and payouts.
Vibly's operations portal is built for the firm's operations lead: who coaches whom, how sponsors see progress, and how deals flow from HubSpot into coaching engagements. Its API helps if you have internal systems to connect. Teams starts at two seats for $149 and adds seats at $50 each, which is easy to budget.
Simply.Coach's per-coach business pricing scales differently. CoCreate at $79 per active coach covers 10 clients each. Surge at $159 adds program managers, sponsors, white-label and your domain. Optima at $289 adds email white-labelling, coach payouts, coach matching, NPS and automated reports. A firm that pays associate coaches through the platform and needs matching may find Optima's list closer to its process, at a much higher per-coach price.
Coachful's team plans (Studio and Agency) add coach seats with per-coach availability and staff permissions, and multi-coach session types handle assignment. It is a good fit for a solo coach growing into a small team. It is not built for large organizations: it has no multi-stage sales deal board for big teams, no HubSpot or Salesforce integration and no routing forms that choose a host from form answers. If those are requirements, Vibly is the better choice. See Coachful for teams.
Does either tool support HIPAA?
Vibly does, with a signed BAA. Simply.Coach's pricing pages do not mention HIPAA, and Coachful is not HIPAA-certified.
This matters if you coach inside a clinic, a health plan or a provider's wellness program, or if you handle protected health information on behalf of one. Under US rules, covered entities such as health plans and most providers, and the business associates who handle data for them, have specific obligations; the US Department of Health and Human Services explains who counts. If that describes your work, choose a vendor that will sign a BAA, which here means Vibly.
Many independent health and wellness coaches are not covered entities, but the line depends on your contracts and clients, so check with an attorney if you are unsure. Coaching is also not treatment: it does not diagnose or treat medical or mental health conditions. Refer clients to a doctor or licensed therapist when symptoms, medication questions, eating disorder signs or risk of harm come up, and keep clinical records in a clinical system. Our guide to whether a health coach is worth it covers where coaching fits.
What is the client experience like in each?
Vibly and Simply.Coach both give clients a portal for sessions, programs and documents; Vibly's runs in the browser, and Simply.Coach can be white-labelled on Leap and above.
For clients, the question is how many places they need to visit. In a typical Vibly or Simply.Coach setup, the client books and meets inside the portal, but courses, community and marketing emails often live in other tools with their own logins. Simply.Coach adds your logo from Growth and a white-labelled platform on your domain from Leap. Vibly's portal is browser based, with no native mobile app mentioned.
Coachful's client side is one branded home and app (your branding inside the Coachful app, not your own App Store listing). Clients see their next session, their program week, daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins, goals with progress bars and streaks, plus courses, downloads, the community feed, group chat and direct messages. Cohort groups are created automatically when a client enrolls in a program. That between-session delivery is the main reason coaches who run programs choose it. See the coaching client app page.

Which should you pick for your kind of coaching?
Match the tool to the shape of your business. Here is how we would choose.
- Employer or sponsor-funded coaching firm with a CRM in HubSpot: Vibly. The HubSpot sync and sponsor reports fit directly. Simply.Coach Surge or Optima is the alternative if you want coach matching or payouts.
- Clinic or health program that needs a BAA: Vibly.
- Executive coach with a few formal engagements: Simply.Coach Essentials or Growth handles contracts and programs at a low price. If you also need a credible website and a booking funnel for senior buyers, Coachful covers both; see Coachful for executive coaches.
- New coach with three clients: Simply.Coach Starter is the cheapest monthly figure, but you will outgrow it quickly. Vibly Basic has no cap shown. Coachful gives you a website, booking and payments to find those clients in the first place.
- Health, fitness or habit-focused coach without HIPAA needs: Coachful, for habits, check-ins and the Fitness and Nutrition pack. See Coachful for health coaches.
- Group program or cohort coach: Coachful, for automatic cohort groups, community and courses in one place. See group coaching software.
The third option: when does Coachful beat both, and when does it not?
Coachful beats both for coaches who deliver programs between sessions, want their website, funnels and email in the same place, and want clients to use one branded app. It does not beat Vibly for HIPAA work or for large organizations that run on HubSpot.

What Coachful is. Coachful is a coaching platform, based in Tallinn, Estonia. One subscription covers booking, payments, contracts, program delivery with habits and check-ins, courses, a community, a website with funnels and email, and Michelle, a built-in AI assistant. The coach has one login; the client has one branded app.
Who it is for. Coaches who deliver programs, not just sessions; solo coaches growing into a small team; and coaches replacing four to six separate tools.
What it does that Vibly and Simply.Coach do not list:
- A section-based website builder with blog, custom domain, SEO settings and 30 designed homepage templates, plus booking, application, lead-magnet and checkout funnels with pixels and UTM tracking.
- Email lists, broadcasts and multi-step sequences with triggers, delays, branching and A/B splits.
- Multi-week programs with weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, check-ins and streaks, plus courses with drip and completion tracking.
- Michelle, the AI assistant, which works from live practice data to build programs, draft emails, summarize recorded sessions and brief you before sessions. Questions and planning are included in the membership; confirmed builds and changes use AI credits.
- ICF credential tracking that counts coaching hours and distinct clients against ACC, PCC and MCC thresholds and exports a client coaching log. See ICF hour tracking.
- A social planner that publishes to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, Threads and YouTube, and Instagram automations that send a booking link or lead magnet when someone comments a keyword.

What it does not do. Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and does not sign a BAA, so it is not for clinical record-keeping or insurance billing. It has no PayPal and no permanent free plan. The client app ships under the Coachful listing with your branding, not under your own App Store account. It has no HubSpot or Salesforce integration, no multi-stage deal board for large sales teams, and no routing forms. Wearable sync (Garmin, Fitbit, Whoop, Oura) is not available. If any of those are deal-breakers, choose Vibly or another tool.
Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. From Create, a coach picks "We'll build it for you", describes what they want (a website, funnel, sales page, program, course outline, email sequence, form, link in bio and more) and attaches up to 8 reference links and 10 files. The Coachful team builds it inside the coach's own account, usually within about 24 hours, without inventing credentials, testimonials or prices. One recent example: a leadership coach with a Squarespace renewal days away got one clean homepage with a repeated "talk with me" button. Another, a menopause and midlife health coach starting from nothing, got a five-page site in sage and cream with every button leading to a free 20-minute consultation. It does not cover video recording, logo design, ads or ongoing marketing. Read more about the free white-glove service.

Frequently asked questions
Is Vibly or Simply.Coach cheaper?
Simply.Coach is cheaper at the bottom: Starter is $9 for 3 coachees, as listed in October 2026. From 4 clients up, Vibly Basic at $25/month ($20 billed annually) costs less than Simply.Coach Essentials at $29, Growth at $49 or Leap at $69, because no client cap is shown on Vibly's solo plans. Check which features Basic includes before you compare.
Does Simply.Coach offer HIPAA compliance?
Its pricing pages do not mention HIPAA or a BAA as of October 2026. If you handle protected health information for a covered entity, ask Simply.Coach directly or choose Vibly, which lists HIPAA compliance with a BAA.
Does Vibly have a mobile app?
Vibly's client portal runs in the browser, and no native mobile app is mentioned on its site as of October 2026. Clients can still use the portal from a phone browser.
Which is better for a coaching firm with many coaches?
Vibly is built for that case, with an operations portal for rosters, client assignment, sponsor reports and two-way HubSpot sync. Simply.Coach's per-coach business tiers suit firms that want coach matching and coach payouts, at $79 to $289 per active coach.
Do Vibly and Simply.Coach take a cut of client payments?
Vibly states there is no Vibly fee on client payments; you pay Stripe's processing fees. Simply.Coach's pricing pages do not state transaction fees or payment processors, so ask before you set up checkout.
Do either have a free trial or free plan?
Both offer a 14-day trial and neither has a free plan. Simply.Coach's trial needs no credit card. Coachful also has a free trial and no permanent free plan.
Can I build a website with Vibly or Simply.Coach?
Neither lists a website builder or funnels on its pricing pages; Simply.Coach Leap offers a white-labelled platform on your own domain, which is a client portal rather than a marketing site. Coachful includes a website builder, funnels and email sequences in the membership.
Is Coachful HIPAA-compliant?
No. Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and does not sign a BAA, so clinical records and insurance billing belong in a clinical system. For coaching that needs a BAA, Vibly is the better choice of the three.
What is Coachful's free white-glove service?
It is a done-for-you build included on every plan: you describe the website, funnel, program, email sequence or other asset you want, attach references and files, and the Coachful team builds it in your account, usually within about 24 hours. It does not include video recording, logo design, ads or ongoing marketing.
How do I move my clients from Simply.Coach or Vibly to Coachful?
Export your client data from your current tool (Simply.Coach states its data exports to spreadsheets; ask Vibly support about its export). Coachful imports clients, programs and content for you during onboarding. Our Simply Coach alternatives for life coaches and CoachAccountable vs Simply Coach guides help if you are still comparing.
