Satori vs Simply Coach: Which Fits Your Coaching in 2026?

Satori vs Simply Coach: Which Fits Your Coaching in 2026?

Satori vs Simply Coach comes down to one question: how many active clients you carry and how you want to grow. Satori is the cheaper, simpler pick for a solo 1:1 coach with up to about 50 active clients, and it takes PayPal as well as Stripe. Simply.Coach suits coaches who want unlimited clients on a mid-priced plan, a white-labelled portal on their own domain, or a multi-coach business with sponsors and program managers. Neither one runs your marketing or delivers a program between sessions in much depth, which is where a third option comes in.

We make Coachful, a coaching platform that covers booking, payments, contracts, programs with habits and check-ins, courses, community and a website in one login. We say so up front because we include it below as the third option, with an honest account of when Satori or Simply.Coach is the better buy. Everything about the two vendors comes from their own pricing pages as listed in October 2026, or from our September 2026 profiles where we say so. We have not run client work through either tool; we report what they document and what public reviewers report.

What is the short answer by use case?

Pick Satori if you are a solo 1:1 coach who wants a tidy back office at a low monthly price; pick Simply.Coach if you need unlimited clients, white-labelling or a coaching business with several coaches. Pick Coachful if you deliver programs between sessions and want your website, funnels and email in the same place.

  • Studying for your coaching certification: Satori's Scholar plan is free for coaches studying for a certification, with unlimited pro-bono clients (you apply through a form). Simply.Coach has no free plan.
  • Solo coach, up to 10 paying clients: Simply.Coach is cheaper up to 7 clients (Starter, then Essentials); from 8 to 10, Satori Essentials is cheaper than Simply.Coach Growth.
  • Solo coach, 30 to 50 clients: Satori Pro and Simply.Coach Growth cost the same headline amount; Satori Pro allows more clients (50 versus 30).
  • Solo coach, 100+ clients or group programs: Simply.Coach Leap is unlimited and cheaper than Satori Leader, which caps at 150 active clients.
  • Coaching firm placing coaches with corporate sponsors: Simply.Coach's business tiers (CoCreate, Surge, Optima) are built for this. Satori is not.
  • Coach selling programs, courses or a community, with a website and email: neither fits well. That is the case for Coachful, covered in its own section below.

If you already know you want to leave one of them, our guides on Satori alternatives and Simply.Coach alternatives rank the wider field.

How do Satori and Simply.Coach compare side by side?

Both are coaching practice tools built around sessions, contracts and a client portal; they differ mainly in how they cap clients and how far they reach into team coaching. We rank on four criteria that matter most to a growing coach: one login for the whole client journey, delivery between sessions, total stack cost, and setup effort.

Satori presents itself as a coaching practice tool for scheduling, a client portal, packages and programs, invoices and contracts. Our September 2026 profile also recorded that it has no native mobile app and no native Zoom integration, and that it does not offer landing pages, courses or a community. For a deeper look, see our Satori review.

Simply.Coach is also a coaching practice platform: contracts, programs, sessions, booking pages and a client portal, with separate business and enterprise tiers. Its solo plans cap clients, contracts and programs on every tier below Leap. Our Simply.Coach review goes through each feature in more depth.

How much do Satori and Simply.Coach cost?

Satori runs from $33 to $124 a month across its paid plans, and Simply.Coach runs from $9 to $69 a month for solo coaches, with per-coach business tiers from $79 to $289. The cheaper tool depends entirely on your client count.

A note on the Satori figures: its dollar amounts are rendered by JavaScript and did not display when we checked in October 2026, so the prices below come from our September 2026 profile. The 10-client limit on Essentials, the trial terms and the fee policy were confirmed in October 2026. Satori's annual billing is advertised as "Get 2 Months Free"; the annual per-month numbers below are our arithmetic (monthly price times 10, divided by 12), not printed figures.

Two details on Simply.Coach's page are worth reading closely. Its headline prices do not state a billing period (our earlier profile treated them as monthly), and it advertises "save up to 52% on annual" while showing an annual figure only for Essentials. Its USD prices are tax-inclusive, and an INR option is available that excludes GST. It also states there are no refunds for cancellations partway through a billing period.

What does each tool cost at your client count?

Here is the cheapest plan that covers each client count, using the monthly figures above. Count active clients, because Satori bills only on active clients and Simply.Coach counts active coachees.

Simply.CoachStarter, $9Growth, $49Growth, $49Leap, $69Leap, $69Leap, $69

The crossover is clear. Simply.Coach is cheaper up to 7 clients (Starter at $9 for 3, Essentials at $29 for 7), and Satori Essentials wins from 8 to 10. Between 31 and 50 clients Satori Pro is cheaper. Above 50, Simply.Coach Leap wins, and above 150 Satori has no listed plan at all. Our full breakdowns are in Satori pricing and Simply.Coach pricing.

Remember the tools you pay for alongside either one. Neither pricing page lists a website builder, a course platform or email marketing, so a coach who sells online usually adds three or four subscriptions on top. Add those before you compare.

What about payment fees and trials?

Satori takes no cut of client payments; standard PayPal and Stripe fees apply. Simply.Coach does not state its payment processors or any transaction fee on its pricing pages, and it marks automated invoices as "Coming Soon" on the solo pricing page. Satori offers a 15-day trial with unrestricted access and no card during the trial (a card is needed to continue), plus a refund if requested within 30 days of signing up. Simply.Coach offers a 14-day trial with no credit card.

How do scheduling and booking compare?

Both tools give you booking pages; Satori's plans meter bookings, while Simply.Coach meters calendars. That difference decides which one feels cramped first.

On Satori, our September 2026 profile listed 60 bookings on Essentials, 120 on Pro and unlimited on Leader. As an example, a coach with 10 weekly clients books roughly 40 sessions a month, so Essentials has headroom, but discovery calls count too. Satori Essentials explicitly includes booking discovery sessions. The same profile recorded no native Zoom integration, so you add video links yourself.

On Simply.Coach, every plan includes booking pages. Starter and Essentials allow one calendar; Growth allows three and adds recurring sessions. If you run a weekly standing slot with each client, recurring sessions alone can push you to Growth.

Coachful's sessions calendar with demo 1:1 sessions and group calls colour-coded across September 2026.

For comparison, Coachful's booking pages include availability rules, buffers, minimum notice and time-zone detection, two-way Google, Apple/iCloud and Outlook sync, and built-in video or auto-created Zoom, Meet or Teams links. Reminders go by email, plus SMS 24 hours ahead and WhatsApp one hour ahead once messaging is enabled. You can sell paid sessions or session credits and ask intake questions at booking. See Coachful's scheduling software for the full list.

How do contracts, invoices and payments compare?

Both tools handle coaching contracts; Satori is clearer about payments, while Simply.Coach caps how many contracts you can have on lower plans.

Satori bundles contracts and invoices into the practice tool and accepts both PayPal and Stripe. If your clients expect to pay by PayPal, that is a real point in Satori's favour, and Coachful does not offer PayPal.

Simply.Coach limits contracts by plan: 1 on Starter, 3 on Essentials, 10 on Growth and unlimited on Leap. A coach who runs separate agreements for 1:1, VIP and corporate work can reach the Essentials limit quickly. Automated invoices were marked "Coming Soon" on the solo page in October 2026, so check the current state before you commit if invoicing matters to you.

Coachful payments tab with an invoice table

In Coachful, coaching agreements with e-signature go out before the first call and are stored on the client record. Payments run through your own Stripe Connect or Razorpay account: one-time, subscriptions, payment plans, order bumps, coupons, refunds, Apple Pay and Google Pay, with Stripe Tax. Coachful has charged a 0% platform fee since August 2026, so you pay only processing. More on this at coaching contracts and coaching payment software.

Which is better for programs and group coaching?

Simply.Coach has group coaching from its cheapest plan and unlimited programs on Leap; Satori adds group coaching on Pro and caps programs on every plan. Neither is a full course or community tool.

Simply.Coach lists 1:1 and group coaching on Starter, with programs capped at 1, 3, 10 and unlimited across its solo plans. Its business tier CoCreate includes three journey templates. Satori's September 2026 profile listed 3 programs on Essentials, 10 on Pro and 50 on Leader, with group coaching and custom branding arriving on Pro.

What "program" means matters more than the count. In both tools a program is mostly a structured package of sessions, resources and forms. Our September 2026 profile recorded no courses or community in Satori, and Simply.Coach's pricing pages do not describe a course builder or community either. If your offer is a 12-week group program with weekly lessons, daily habits and a cohort chat, you will need extra tools with both.

This is the core difference with Coachful, which is built for coaches who deliver programs, not just sessions. Here is a short walkthrough of how a program is built and delivered:

A Coachful program runs over multiple weeks with weekly goals, daily tasks, habits, morning and evening check-ins, goals with progress bars and streaks. Enrolling a client in a group program creates a cohort group automatically. Courses with modules, drip and completion tracking sit in the same client home. See group coaching software and coaching program software.

Which one looks like you?

Coachful builds your coaching website from a few answers, in a design chosen for your niche, with programs, booking and payments ready behind it.

Build your platform

What is the client experience like in each?

Satori gives clients a browser portal; Simply.Coach gives them a portal that can carry your logo from Growth and your own domain from Leap. Neither, as far as their pricing pages and our profiles show, gives clients much to do between sessions beyond forms and resources.

Our September 2026 profile recorded no native mobile app for Satori, so clients use the portal in a browser. Satori Pro adds custom branding. Simply.Coach puts your logo on the portal from Growth and offers a fully white-labelled platform on your own domain from Leap. On its top business tier, Optima, even emails are white-labelled. For coaches who sell to corporate buyers, that level of branding can matter.

The client's Programs view in demo data: an enrolled group program, its current week and its members.

In Coachful, the client gets your branding inside the Coachful app. The app ships under the Coachful listing, not your own App Store account, which is a limit worth knowing. Inside it, clients see their next session, their program week, habits, goals, check-ins, courses, community and messages in one place.

The difference shows up on a Tuesday afternoon between sessions. A client in Satori or Simply.Coach opens the portal to find a worksheet or the next booking. A client in Coachful opens the app to tick off today's habit, answer the evening check-in and see their streak, and you see who has gone quiet before the next call. Each client record in Coachful shows a status of thriving, active, quiet or at risk.

How do reporting, ICF logs and data export compare?

Satori exports a coaching log for ICF credentialing; Simply.Coach states that all data can be exported to spreadsheets and adds NPS and automated reports on its top business tier.

The Satori log export (from our September 2026 profile) is useful if you are working toward an ACC or PCC. We could not verify a general client-data export for Satori. Simply.Coach's site, per the same earlier profile, says all data can be exported to spreadsheets. Its Optima business tier adds NPS and automated reports for firms reporting to sponsors.

Coachful counts your coaching hours and distinct clients against ACC, PCC and MCC thresholds and exports an ICF client coaching log with paid and pro bono hours. It also exports your full client data as a ZIP (roster, notes, check-ins, goals, habits, sessions, form responses). Details at ICF hour tracking. If you are moving, our guides on migrating from Satori and migrating from Simply.Coach cover the export steps.

Which tool handles teams and coaching businesses better?

Simply.Coach, clearly. Satori is a solo practice tool, while Simply.Coach has three business tiers priced per active coach with sponsors, program managers and coach matching.

Simply.Coach's CoCreate ($79 per active coach, 10 clients each) suits a small group practice. Surge ($159 per coach, 25 clients each) adds two program managers, five sponsors, white-labelling and your own domain. Optima ($289 per coach, 50 clients each) adds unlimited managers and sponsors, email white-labelling, coach payouts, coach matching, NPS and automated reports. That is a corporate coaching provider's feature set.

Coachful's Studio and Agency plans add coach seats with per-coach availability and staff permissions, and multi-coach session types can assign bookings round-robin or to the least busy coach. It does not have sponsor portals or coach matching, and it has no HubSpot or Salesforce integration. A firm that reports to corporate sponsors will be better served by Simply.Coach. See Coachful for teams for what is included.

What do public reviewers say?

Review data on both is thin, so treat it as a weak signal. Satori's Trustpilot page had no reviews in October 2026; our September 2026 profile recorded 4.5 from 13 reviews on Capterra. Simply.Coach has no Trustpilot presence, and our September 2026 profile recorded 4.8 from 146 reviews on G2. Review sites blocked our fetcher in October 2026, so we could not refresh either figure.

Thirteen reviews say little either way. Simply.Coach's larger G2 sample is more meaningful, but both numbers are older than this article. Use the free trials instead: both tools give you two weeks, which is enough to run a real discovery call and onboard one test client.

Which should you pick for which kind of coach?

Match the tool to your client count and your offer, not to the feature list. Here is how we would decide.

A life coach with eight private clients who wants a calm admin tool should start on Satori. An executive coach placed by companies, who needs a portal on their own domain, should start on Simply.Coach. A health or mindset coach who sells a group program, a course and a membership will outgrow both quickly. Our niche guides for life coaches and executive coaches go deeper on each.

Is there a third option that beats both?

Yes, for coaches who deliver programs and sell online: Coachful puts booking, payments, contracts, programs, courses, community, a website, funnels and email under one subscription. It does not beat Simply.Coach for sponsor-led coaching firms, or Satori for PayPal clients and the cheapest small solo setup.

What Coachful is. A coaching platform with one login for the coach and one branded app for the client. It is built for coaches who deliver programs, not just sessions, for solo coaches growing into a small team, and for coaches replacing four to six tools. The company is based in Tallinn, Estonia, and has a Trustpilot score of 4.5 from 21 reviews.

Coachful's website builder on a monitor and its funnels list on a tablet
Coachful's website builder page list on the monitor and its funnels list on the tablet.

What it adds over both. A section-based website builder with a blog, custom domain, SEO settings and 30 designed homepage templates. Booking, application, lead-magnet and checkout funnels with pixel and UTM tracking. Email lists, broadcasts and multi-step sequences with branching and A/B splits. A social planner that schedules posts to Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, X, Threads and YouTube, and Instagram automations that reply to a keyword comment with your booking link in a DM. Michelle, the built-in AI assistant, works from your live practice data to build programs, draft emails, summarize recorded sessions and brief you before calls; questions and planning are included in your Coachful membership, and confirmed builds use AI credits. See the AI coaching assistant and coach website builder pages.

Where it beats both. If you currently pair Satori or Simply.Coach with a website tool, an email tool and a course platform, Coachful replaces the stack. Between sessions, clients have habits, check-ins and goals to work on, not just a portal to visit. And because every plan is flat, you can compare one number against the total of what you pay now. Current plans: Lite: $29/month for up to 5 clients; Solo: $49/month for up to 20 clients; Pro: $99/month with unlimited clients; Studio: $199/month with unlimited clients.

Where it does not. Coachful is not HIPAA-certified and does not sign a BAA, so it is not for clinical records or insurance billing. It has no PayPal and no permanent free plan, so Satori's Scholar plan and PayPal support win there. It has no sponsor portals, coach matching or Salesforce and HubSpot integrations, so Simply.Coach's business tiers win for coaching firms. The client app carries your branding inside the Coachful app, rather than shipping in your own App Store account. And its affiliate tool tracks links and conversions, but payouts are recorded manually.

Why Coachful stands out: a free white-glove service. On every plan, you can open Create, choose "We'll build it for you · FREE", describe what you want, and attach up to 8 reference links and 10 files. The Coachful team builds it inside your own account, usually within about 24 hours: a website, funnel, sales page, program, course outline, email sequence, form or event. Nothing gets invented, so there are no fake credentials, testimonials or prices; gaps are left for you to fill. One leadership coach with a Squarespace renewal days away got a clean homepage with a repeated "talk with me" button. A real-estate and money coach got a year-long cohort program with an application form, an eight-page site and a free nine-day bootcamp funnel. Read more in our white-glove service guide.

How do you switch without losing clients?

Run the new tool in parallel for one billing cycle, move new clients first, and move existing clients at a natural break such as the end of a package.

  1. Export your client list and session history. Simply.Coach exports to spreadsheets; Satori exports an ICF coaching log, so check what else you can download.
  2. Save signed contracts as PDFs. You will want them on each client record in the new tool.
  3. Rebuild your packages and programs, starting with the one most clients are on.
  4. Reconnect your payment processor and recreate any active subscriptions, so no client is charged twice.
  5. Send clients one short email with the new link and the date their next session moves over.
  6. Cancel the old plan at the end of its period. Simply.Coach does not refund partial periods, and Satori's refund window is 30 days from sign-up.

Do Satori or Simply.Coach have a website builder or courses?

Our September 2026 profile recorded no landing pages, courses or community in Satori, and Simply.Coach's pricing pages do not describe a website builder, courses or email marketing. Most coaches who sell online pair either one with separate tools.

Our September 2026 profile recorded no native mobile app for Satori; clients use a browser portal. Simply.Coach's pricing pages do not describe a client app. Coachful's clients get your branding inside the Coachful app.

Can I track ICF hours in either?

Satori exports a coaching log for ICF credentialing. Coachful counts hours and clients against ACC, PCC and MCC thresholds and exports an ICF coaching log with paid and pro bono hours.

What is Coachful's free white-glove service?

On every plan, the Coachful team builds a website, funnel, program, course outline, email sequence or similar inside your account from your brief, usually within about 24 hours. It does not include recording videos, logo design, ad management or ongoing marketing.

When should I not choose Coachful?

If you need HIPAA compliance, PayPal, a permanent free plan, or sponsor and coach-matching features for a coaching firm. In those cases Satori or Simply.Coach, or a clinical system, is the better fit.
